Chapter Text
The familiar decorations of Ragatha's room, once neatly placed and organized, are now thrown into disarray. Fake books, flowers and yarn, which once adorned painted plastic shelves now found themselves scattered across the once meticulously clean floor. The calm and comforting silence that the ragdoll had gotten oh so used to was now drowned out by the sounds of her own breathing. It was slow at fist, but quickly gained pace until she was hyperventilating. Her own mind did nothing to soothe her either. In fact, her thoughts were moving just as fast as her panicked breaths, as if they were in a race, trying to one up each other at every turn. She knows she ruined this latest adventure by voicing a negative opinion. She didn't mean to, but the anxiety of the bug filled caverns they were forced to crawl through, mixed in with the ever-growing frustration of Jax tormenting her at every turn, finally bubbled over the edge. She snapped, cursing both him and the god forsaken adventure they were on. that moment played itself over and over again in her mind. The looks on her friends faces as she realized what she had done. The tall, lanky, purple rabbit had the biggest smile she had ever seen, and for Jax, that was saying something. The others had looks of concern? Surprise? Or was it anger? The doll shook her head. It clearly had to be anger. Did they hate her now? She said the wrong thing after all. She felt so stupid, its all her fault, making everyone uncomfortable like that. If only she was able to hold in her emotions she wouldn't have made it to this sorry state she was in now. What could possibly make amends for this heinous crime that she committed? ...... That's it! In the morning she'd do something nice for everyone as an apology and they'll see that she's not negative or a burden and they'll want to have her around! But... What would make everyone happy? The redheads breathing picked up even faster than it had previously. The room was getting fuzzy, and she was... numb? Then, a bright light cut through the haze that was her vision. Had she not realized what it was, it might have been comforting to have the light, it might even have been beautiful. But she did realize what this was. Too many times to count has she experienced this exact light. Though this time, it was emanating from her own hand. A bioluminescent blue eye stared back at her, a split of black oozing out of the corner and spreading down her forearm where another eye made its home on her body, this time, pink. 'No' she thought, her heart rate skyrocketing. Then again "NO!" this time screaming it "NO, PLEASE, SOMEONE, HELP" The wails that came from her were strangled as the inky darkness crept its way up her throat. Not that anyone was around to help her anyways. Somehow, after getting separated from everyone post outburst, Ragatha miraculously found herself as the first one to return to the circus. This knowledge didn't stop her from crying out though. She didn't want to abstract, she didn't want to die. "P-PLEASE, DONT LEAVE ME ALONE, ILL BE GOOD, ILL FIX EVERYTHING, I PROMISE. PLEASE. PLEASE" she gasped, her vision starting to go dark, yet simultaneously see everything in every direction all at once. "P-POMNI! KINGER! CAINE! ZOOBLE! GANGLE!" "....JAX?" one last desperate shout before both her sight and consciousness faded to nothing.
