Take me on

Summary:

Enigma wants to consume the world, Luna stands against him

Notes:

I will participate in kinktober this year. actually, what started it, was the drama about kinktober on twitter? was it on twitter? anyway, i wanted to try and write some fics that definitely go against the rules that were discussed there. therefore, have the second one, age gap + power play + non-con

yeah, I know this one has less sex and more story, but I can't do all the fics in the same way. Well, I can, but that would be boring for me to write...

Work Text:

Enigma was old, one of the oldest beings in the universe and nothing was known of his background. There were only stories and legends, passed down through the ages. In truth, Enigma was a mystery, he was an universal force, a consumer of worlds. He was a being of the void, at times corporeal, other times ethereal.

There were old legends that said he was the first collapsed star, a black hole grown complicated and sentient while his motivations were unknowable and his power was inexorable.

Luna on the other hand was young, though she was the dreaded Moon Rider, ruthless and ever-loyal guardian of the Nightsilver Woods. She had endured the sacred rites of the Dark Moon, had been chosen by the Goddess of the Moon and had pledged her service to said Goddess.

She was known throughout the world, but she had only recently risen to fame whereas the Consumer of Worlds was known throughout the universe and had been feared for millennia.

When they met, there was no question about who held the power, who had the wisdom and who would come out alive of the encounter.

True enough, the Moon Rider had the Goddess on her side, Her power fuelling her and Her wisdom guiding her. But still it was the Goddess of the Moon while Enigma was the Consumer of Worlds. A moon, with a deity or without, was nothing to him.

Minutes ago, it had been a bright day, the sunshine warming Luna on her trip over the planes. She had just dismounted from her mount to allow the giant cat to catch a midday meal and drink from the nearby river while she had walked along, enjoying the beauty of the moment.

All of a sudden, darkness settled around her. It was an all-consuming darkness, darker than night, swallowing all light and alarming the Rider.

Quietly Luna called for her mount but received no answer. Her senses couldn’t pick up on any presence around her, neither of her mount nor of any other living creature. Whatever this was, she was alone and so she grabbed her double-bladed weapon, her glaive, tighter.

There was a being inside the darkness that seemed powerful but not truly alive, a force trying to swallow her whole. But Luna resisted and turned around in an attempt to find the source of the darkness. Only with a source could she fight it, for the darkness itself was not her opponent.

“Show yourself so we can fight!” Luna was proud that her voice was steady and she held her hands just as steady, as not to show her uneasiness.

At her command, a creature appeared before her, if the entity could be called a creature. It was unlike anything Luna had ever encountered and she certainly couldn’t place its origin. It was an otherworldly being for sure and they tended to be exceedingly powerful.

Its form seemed to sprout from the darkness on the ground, without legs, but then it had an almost human-like upper body. Two arms, a muscled chest and a head with two eyes. The eyes glowed but aside from them, it didn’t seem to have other humanlike features. Luna wasn’t sure if the being had a nose, or ears, or a mouth.

Mouth or not, it, he, was able to speak. “There is no need to fight. I will consume your world, it will be over within moments. Don’t resist me.”

He sounded so casual and Luna knew that he was able to destroy her world in the blink of an eye. “I won’t let you harm this world or anyone living here. Take me on instead.” As if she could stop him, if he truly was this powerful. As if her sacrifice (and it definitely was a sacrifice) would appease him.

The being stared at her with eyes that were hauntingly bright, hauntingly other. “I am the Consumer of Worlds, you think you can take me? You think you will survive me?”

“Or I’ll die trying.” Luna was proud that her voice was still steady, despite her discomfort and her certainty that she wouldn’t survive this encounter. She’d try to defeat the creature, she’d give it all she had, she was a warrior and she’d not sit back and wait for this creature to destroy the world.

“Well then, let’s start.”

Luna was able to evade the first attack, a magical projectile the creature threw at her, and to block the second. The force of the energy ball hitting her shield rattled through her whole body and the third attack struck her in the side. She hissed in pain, breathed through it, not losing her focus. Not this easily at least.

Instead she charged forward, going into the initiative. Being passive wouldn’t win her this fight, she had to act, she had to surprise her enemy and hope he underestimated her.

The moon beam she called struck the Consumer of Worlds full on and for a second he was stunned, a dark mass immobilised in front of her. She used the time to throw her glaive, a deep cut appearing on the creature’s upper arm as he turned his body in the last moment to evade the blade. He was vulnerable after all.

If he had underestimated her and had held back, he recovered quickly. Too quickly.

Suddenly Luna was engulfed by darkness, tighter and denser than the darkness that had surrounded them anyway. It held her, immobilised her. She struggled against it, tried to break free, tried to do something, but it was useless. She wanted to cry out in anger that she hadn’t been able to harm her opponent aside from one single cut. She wanted to cry out in frustration that she would loose now, that she couldn’t protect her world. But she couldn’t even scream.

The darkness smothered her, until she couldn’t feel her body anymore. She was breathing but didn’t feel it, didn’t hear it, as if it was unreal. Reality unravelled because all her senses were muted and she didn’t understand her surroundings. Where she had been standing on the ground a moment ago was suddenly nothing but emptiness. Even the being was gone, leaving her with nothing to focus on.

Luna was lost and just when she thought this was the end, there was an unexpected sensation.

It was desire, like a lightning bolt, cutting through the void and through her.

It took hold of her, its intensity increasing promptly, and again Luna wanted to scream, this time with lust. She could feel again, but she wasn’t sure if she felt her body. This desire, it wasn’t exactly physical, it was in her head, it came from the being who had trapped her.

Maybe it was some strange side effect, unintended, on Luna’s way to death. Whatever the case, she was unable to stop it, to evade it or supress it. The desire burned and throbbed, it was all-consuming like the darkness around her. It pushed her body to heights she had never felt before, though she didn’t want it.

Luna came, the orgasm hitting her without warning and lasting longer than truly possible. But afterwards, the desire didn’t ebb. This wasn’t the end, then, but the creature playing with her.

The knowledge changed nothing, for Luna was held tightly. It felt like hours, throbbing desire, orgasm after orgasm forced from her body. Her screams were silent and if her body hadn’t been constrained, she would be shaking.

She was trapped in whatever spell the Consumer of Worlds had cast, her body and her mind, forced to do as he pleased. And obviously it greatly pleased him to coerce orgasms from her, to have her feel pleasure beyond what was natural.

After every orgasm, the darkness seemed to sigh, but Luna couldn’t care less. She was occupied with herself, still struggling (to no avail) against the intrusion into her body and mind. She didn’t want to feel pleasure but it was ripped from her regardless.

Exhaustion began to cloud her thoughts and either the creature felt it or it had enough, but it finally released her. Too weak to stand or even to sit, Luna lay on the ground as the darkness faded. She opened her eyes, and almost wept as she found colours being present. The green of the grass, blue of the sky, flowers blooming around her. But she was too exhausted to spill a single tear.

The Consumer of Worlds looked down at her unmoving body. “You took me well and I will spare your world for now. Rest, little one, you did well.”

Luna drifted off into sleep to the melody of birds singing. The Consumer of Worlds had left, but even if he hadn’t, for the time being she was helpless to do anything else but rest.
