Work Text:
March sits down at the end of the bar, just a few seats down from you, face flushed from the alcoholic chocolatey drink in his hand. He has his brows furrowed as he listens to Olric talk about some new weightless stone he found in the mines, nodding at appropriate intervals even though his eyes kept glazing over.
You and March had been seeing each other for a few months now in secret, not wanting all of your business spread across town – once Elsie knows something, everyone in Mistria plus the town next door would know. Plus, March wasn’t exactly keen on everyone knowing he had a soft side. But mostly? It’s been fun having your own little secret, sneaking around like teenagers.
Everyone in town is a the Inn today and Hemlock made some particularly delicious chocolate liqueur, causing everyone to drink a little more than usual, especially you. You’ve downed a couple of drinks now and are working on your third, feeling pretty tipsy at this point, March on his second and feeling happily buzzed, a warm glow on both of your faces now.
You’re sitting at the bar with Olric and Ryis between the two of you, Valen and Juniper on the other side of you. You’ve decided to play a drinking game together, though the group can’t seem to agree on what.
“Kings Cup!” Valen suggests.
“Too complicated when everyone’s already tipsy.” Juniper Argues.
“Never have I ever?” Ryis offers.
Olric groans, “We played that last week”
You – on the other hand – are content watching March in your tipsy stupor, the way his throat moves when he drinks, how his hair falls across his forehead when he leans forward to listen to his brother.
“Truth or dare!” you hear yourself suggest, louder than intended. The alcohol has certainly made you bolder.
The group turns to look at you, smiles all around.
“Classic. Valen grins. “I’m in.”
“Me, too” Juniper agrees.
Ryis shrugs “Why not?”
Olric nudges March. “You playing?”
March’s eyes find yours across the bar and something flickers in his buzzed expression – amusement maybe, or warning. “Sure, could be fun”
You take another sip of your drink, warmth spreading through you that has nothing to do with the chocolate liqueur.
“Alright,” Valen says, clapping her hands together, “I’ll start, Ryis – truth or dare?”
Ryis considers for a moment. “Truth.”
“Boringgg,” Olric sings into his drink.
Valen ignores him .”What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you while working on someone’s house?”
Ryis’s face goes pink. “Oh god, um. I was working on Celine’s cottage last month, and I didn’t realize she was home. I was singing – badly – and doing this whole… performance with my hammer.” He demonstrates a ridiculous air-guitar motion. “She watched for like three minutes before she said anything.”
The group erupts into laughter. Even March is smiling, shaking his head.
“Your turn,” Valen says to Ryis.
“Okay, Juniper. Truth or dare?”
“Dare,” Juniper says confidently, tossing her purple hair over her shoulder.
"I dare you to give Hemlock the most over-the-top compliment you can think of about his chocolate liqueur."
Juniper rolls her eyes but stands up, marching over to where Hemlock is wiping down glasses. The group watches as she leans on the bar, dramatically placing a hand over her heart.
"Hemlock, this chocolate liqueur is so divine, so transcendent, that I think I just experienced a religious awakening. I may need to start a cult devoted to it."
Hemlock laughs. "I'll make sure Josephine knows she has competition for my attention."
The game is flowing easily now, everyone relaxed and warm from the drinks.
"Alright," Juniper says, eyes scanning the group before landing on Olric. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare. Obviously."
"Flex your muscles and let Valen feel your bicep."
"That's not even embarrassing, that's just giving me an opportunity to show off after my new workouts," Olric grins, but he does it anyway. Valen plays along, making exaggerated impressed noises.
"My turn," Olric says, and his gaze shifts to March with a mischievous glint. "March. Truth or dare?"
March takes a slow sip of his drink, eyes never leaving his brother's, brow raised. "Truth."
"Knew it," Olric mutters. "When's the last time you did something spontaneous? Something that wasn't planned down to the last detail?"
March's jaw tightens slightly. "I do spontaneous things."
"That's not an answer," Valen points out.
"Last week I decided to try a new forging technique without testing it first," March says.
The group groans.
"That doesn't count!" Ryis laughs. "That's still work."
"You're so controlled about everything," Valen adds, not unkindly. "Don't you ever just... let loose? Do something crazy?"
"I'm not that controlled," March defends, but his ears are turning red.
You can't help yourself. The alcohol has loosened your tongue, and watching March get flustered is too entertaining. "Yes, you are. You're obsessed with having everything planned and perfect. When's the last time you did something actually risky?"
March's eyes snap to yours, and there's a challenge in them now. "Risky how?"
"I don't know," you say, leaning forward. "Something exciting. Something that would surprise people. Something the 'March who plans everything' would never do."
The group is watching the exchange with interest, sensing something in the air between you two.
"Sounds like you're issuing a dare," March says slowly, his voice dropping lower.
"Your turn anyway," Olric points out to March. "You have to ask someone."
March never takes his eyes off you. "Fine. Truth or dare?"
The way he says it makes your stomach flip. There's something dangerous in his expression, something that makes you very aware of the fact that you're in public, that you're supposed to be just friends, that you've maybe pushed him a little too far.
But the alcohol makes you brave.
"Dare," you say.
March's smile is slow and devastating. "I dare you to dare me to do something exciting."
The group laughs at the nature of it, but you barely hear them. You're too focused on the look in March's eyes, the challenge there.
"Fine," you say, matching his energy. "I dare you to do something exciting. Right now. Something you'd never normally do. Something that would prove you're not as controlled as we all think you are."
March sets down his drink with deliberate care. He stands up, and the casual movement somehow feels predatory, like he’s stalking closer and closer to you.
"You sure about that?" he asks, voice low enough that only you can hear over the ambient noise of the Inn.
"Absolutely," you say, even though your heart is suddenly racing. "Unless you're too scared."
Something flashes in his eyes – heat, want, and maybe a little bit of annoyance at being challenged.
"Careful what you wish for," he says, loud enough for the group to hear now. Then, to everyone's surprise, he holds out his hand to you. "Come with me."
"What?" You blink up at him. "Where?"
"You dared me to do something exciting," he says, and his smile is almost wicked now. "Can't do it without you."
The implication hangs heavy in the air. The group is watching with wide eyes and barely suppressed grins.
"Oh," Olric says gleefully. "This is gonna be good."
"March, what are you planning?" Ryis asks, concerned but amused.
"Guess you'll all find out tomorrow," March says, still holding his hand out to you.
Your brain is fuzzy from the alcohol, but you're not so drunk that you don't understand what's happening. March is calling your bluff. And based on the look in his eyes, he's planning something that's going to make you regret challenging him.
You should probably back down. Say it was just a joke. Laugh it off.
Instead, you take his hand.
March's fingers close around yours, warm and strong, and he pulls you to your feet with enough force that you stumble slightly into him. His other hand steadies you at the small of your back, and the touch feels possessive even through your shirt. Your eyes widen.
"Where are you two going?" Valen asks, eyes dancing with mischief.
"To win a bet," March says simply, already steering you toward the door.
The group erupts in catcalls and laughter behind you. You hear Olric's voice above the rest: "Finally! I thought you two would never-"
But you don't hear the rest because March is pulling you out into the cool night air, and suddenly it's just the two of you, the sounds of the Inn muffled behind the closed door.
You expect him to drop your hand now that you're outside, away from prying eyes. Instead, he pulls you closer, his face inches from yours.
"You have no idea what you just started," he says, voice rough with something that makes your knees weak.
"I dare you, remember?" you manage, trying to sound confident even though your heart is hammering in your chest. "So what's this exciting thing you're going to do?"
March's smile is dangerous and beautiful. "We're going to the forge."
"The forge? But-"
"And I'm going to make you scream my name," he continues, voice dropping even lower. "Loud enough that you'll worry about everyone at the Inn hearing."
Your breath catches. "March-"
"That's bold enough for you, isn't it?" He starts walking, tugging you along with him. "Or are you going to back out now? Admit you're the one who's too careful?"
The challenge in his voice, the way he's looking at you, the alcohol making everything feel more intense – it all combines into a heady rush that makes you bold.
"I'm not backing out," you say.
"Good," March says, and there's satisfaction in his voice. "Because neither am I."
The forge is only a short walk from the Inn, but every step feels charged withanticipation. March is still holding your hand, his grip firm, almost possessive. He keeps glancing at you, and each time he does, that dangerous smile is back.
"You know the forge has windows," he says conversationally as you walk. "Big ones. Anyone walking by could look right in."
Your stomach flips, heat settling in your core.
"And the door doesn't lock from the inside," he continues. "Someone could walk right in at any time."
"March, someone could-" you start, but your voice comes out breathless.
"You wanted exciting," he says, stopping at the forge door and turning to face you. His free hand comes up to cup your jaw, thumb brushing over your warm cheeks. "You wanted to see me lose control. Be careful what you wish for."
The cool air, the alcohol, the way he's looking at you – it's all making your head spin.
“You have to be very, very quiet,” he says leaning in so that his lips are brushing against yours as he speaks, “Think you can do that?”
You catch the groan about to slip out of your throat just in time, nodding, staring into his eyes.
"Last chance to back out," he says, his lips so close to yours you can feel his breath. "We can go back to the Inn, tell everyone it was just a joke. Or-" his thumb traces your lower lip, "- we can go inside, and I'll show you exactly how not-controlled I can be."
Your answer comes out as barely a whisper, "Show me."
March's eyes darken. He opens the forge door and pulls you inside.
He presses you against the back of the door, leaning against you with the weight of his entire body, and you feel how hard he is against you. You bite your lip, looking at the way the light from the still-hot forge glows against his pretty, pale skin. How it makes the red of his hair look like the fire itself.
The curtains behind you at the windows that face the main path are shut, but not completely opaque - slightly see-through.
He moves to press a wet kiss against your ear, tongue tracing the outer shell of your ear before whispering into it. “Here’s how this works,” March says, voice low and commanding. “You wanted to see me bold?” he asks, grabbing onto the back of your dress right at your ass on each side, pulling you impossibly close against his warm body before swinging you around and lifting you up onto the table in the middle of the room, already cleaned off for the day.
His mouth is at your ear again, whispering breathily, “I’m going to make you fall apart right here” You can hear the smirk on his lips, sending heat to pool in your groin, causing you to buck your hips toward him.
He laughs quietly in your ear, moving down to press needy kisses down your neck, “But you' can’t make a sound,” he slides a hand up your blue frilly dress and onto your thigh, “Not.” he kisses at your collarbone, “One.” He bites on the flesh above it, causing you to bite your lip to stop the moan that’s threatening to escape.
His hand slides further up, toying with the side of your black lacey panties. “Because anyone could walk by,” He sucks at the soft skin on your collarbone, sure to leave a mark. “And see you”
You groan quietly, trying to keep the volume to a minimum as you thrust your hips upward toward his hand. He slides your panties off in one swift motion, tossing them to the side as he kisses down to the top of your breasts.
He pulls the top of your dress down, exposing your nipples before sliding his face down and taking one into his mouth, his fingers toying with the other one, out and open.
“It’d sure be a shame-” he says between sucking on your nipple and flicking his tongue against it, “if someone walked past”
You stifle a groan, it still coming out but much quieter than it usually would be as his hand squeezes your thigh tightly, nails grabbing into the soft flesh, eliciting another quiet noise from your throat.
He pulls away to move his face back up to yours, eyes squinting in the dark to look at you.
“You like this, don’t you?” a smirk is painted onto his face, his eyes dark and his voice low.
“I don’t know what y-” you start, cheeks flushing even more than the alcohol has already caused.
“You like the idea of being caught,” He says, leaving your breasts exposed as he grabs hold of the bottoms of your thighs. “Of being seen like this.” He pulls your legs up, exposing you to the soft light of the forge. “So pretty,” he says, leaning in to get a closer look.
“Well this just got more interesting,” he whispers, his mouth hovering against your slit, his warm breath sending a wave of excitement over you.
He presses a soft kiss over your warmth, eliciting a quiet moan from you, your hips bucking against his face. “Ah, ah, ah” he says playfully, biting his lip, “Gotta stay quiet,” he says before sliding his tongue between the lips, sliding from your vagina to your clit, licking low circles there between sentences, hands on your ass pulling you closer.
“What would everyone think if they saw you like this?” He asks against your cunt, making sure that his words are breathy, sending chills down your spine.
“Ya know, all those people at the inn know where we are I bet,” he reaches a hand up to replace his tongue, rubbing slow circles on your clit. He moves up to your face again, close, as you look into his dark eyes. “They could come by at any second.”
He reaches down and undoes his belt buckle, pulling himself out of the front, sliding his boxers and jeans down just low enough. You groan as he slides his cock against your entrance, sliding up and down the opening as you thrust forward, trying to force him inside.
You hear footsteps outside - someone walking past.
You freeze, eyes wide, one hand on your mouth, alcohol making the moment seem even more intense. You look up to see March’s dark eyes and dark smirk right as he thrusts all the way into you, sliding in smoothly all in one motion. You bite the flesh of your hand at the base of your thumb to keep yourself from moaning as loudly as you feel like you need to as your eyes roll back in pleasure.
He starts a steady pace, eyes looking directly into yours as he holds your thighs up, thrusting deep into you and biting his own lip before leaning close to your ear again. “Shhhh, babygirl” he reaches out to lick the shell of your ear down to the lobe, "they’ll hear if you’re not quiet,” he moves one hand up to replace yours, covering your mouth so that you’re not too loud.
You move your now free hand to hold yourself up, as he stops for a moment, stilling inside of you as the footsteps move closer and, thankfully, past the forge.
He moves his mouth to your neck again, humming sweetly against the soft flesh there. “Good girllll,” you groan oh-so quietly at his words, “Such a good job staying quiet,” he sucks at your neck, painting a splotch of purple and blues on your pale skin.
You hear the footsteps turn, coming your way just as he starts thrusting again, sliding in and out tantalizingly slow, teasingly as you start to hear familiar voices outside.
“Where did March go? Think he’s at the forge?” You hear Ryis say.
You try to stop but March won’t let you, pulling you closer with each thrust, speeding up slowly to a steady rhythm, sliding two fingers into your mouth for you to suck and focus on instead of making noises.
You happily oblige, sucking on the digits, swirling your tongue around them, the image in your mind of you on your knees, lips tight around his cock.
"March smirks and moves to give your neck more attention, whispering, “Want me to call out to them? Tell them to come in?” He stifles a groan, slowing his movements so he doesn’t finish too soon, "Let them see me pounding into you, making you a total mess on the table?”
You let out a quiet groan of your own, shaking your head, leaning back so that he has better access to the soft skin on your neck.
He pulls at the skin with his teeth lightly, “Then you’d better stay quiet",” He starts moving faster, reaching his wet fingers down to rub soft circles on your clit as he thrusts into you, “Better cover your mouth”
You follow his order and cover your mouth with your hand again, trying your best not to make any noises, but knowing all the while just how good March is with his hands, and how amazing it feels when he fills you with himself.
“One sound,” he says, licking down your jaw to meet your mouth with his own. “and they’ll know exactly what we’re doing.” he speeds up the circles over your clit, causing you to thrust up into his hand, as you hear your friends outside come closer.
He stills completely as he hears the door start to creak, moving so that you’re slightly more hidden, his movement possessive.
Both of your eyes widen as you pull back to look at each other.
“Don’t move. Don’t breathe.”
They start to push on the door again and March pulls you closer to him, pulling your dress down over your knees, covering what he can of you as quietly as he can, but still not pulling out.
“Nah, you’re right, lights are off, they’re probably at the farmhouse. They’ve been there a lot recently..”
You hear the footsteps turn and start fading away toward the inn.
He sighs, running a hand through his tousled, sweat-soaked hair. “That was too close,” he says, “W-we should stop,”
Your eyes are dark and you grab either side of his shirt’s collar, bringing him close to your lips again, “Don’t. You. Fucking. Dare,” you say before sliding your tongue forcefully into his mouth, sliding and twirling around his own.
You feel a smirk forming against your lips, “Oh, you really do love this” He starts back, thrusting deep and at a quick pace, finger rubbing circles over your clit again.
“Everyone at the Inn is going to know what we did” he whispers against your mouth and you let out a soft, quiet moan. “You’re going to have to face them tomorrow, knowing what a mess you were for me,” his thrusts become more sporadic, his pace quickening before he pulls his hand away from your clit, slowing his thrusts teasingly, not letting you finish.
“Look at yourself. “ he says, hand coming up to cup your breast, long, slender fingers toying at your nipple as he goes in and out of you, so slowly. “
You groan a bit louder accidentally and he smiles even more.
He builds you to the edge a few more times, sputtering about how anyone who wants to know will know, and about how you’re such a good girl for being so quiet, and how much of a mess you are, breaking down for him like this right on the table in the shop.
Finally, he doesn’t stop, thrusting hard into you. He pulls back and looks right into your eyes, his own dark with lust. “Come for me, babygirl.” He says between his own shaky breaths, clearly also close, “Right here where anyone could see, come for me.”
You’re finally tipped over the height that you’ve been climbing the whole night, his hand coming up to cover your mouth again to muffle your loud moans as he spills inside of you, groaning as both of you ride out your orgasms against each other, staring into each others glazed over eyes. He finally pulls out, leaning your foreheads together, smiling as he breathes.
You both take a few minutes to catch your breath, to make yourselves presentable. March's hair is disheveled, and you reach up to smooth it down without thinking. He catches your hand, pressing a kiss to your palm.
"You okay?" he asks quietly, his other hand on your waist. The commanding edge in his voice from before has softened into something gentler. "That was... intense."
"I'm okay," you manage, though your legs still feel shaky. "More than okay."
"Good." He studies your face in the dim lamplight. "We should probably talk about... what we discovered. About what you like."
Heat floods your face again. "Do we have to?"
"Yeah. We do." His thumb rubs a circle on your hip. "But not right now. Not when we're both still..." He gestures vaguely between you, and you know what he means. Still riding the high, still processing everything.
"Tomorrow," you agree.
March finishes tucking in his shirt, and you smooth down your own clothes, trying to look like you weren't just… you push the thought away before you combust from embarrassment all over again.
"Ready?" March asks, offering his hand.
You take it, and together you step out into the cool night air. It's shocking after the heat of the forge, and you shiver slightly. March immediately pulls you closer to his side.
The walk back toward the town center is quiet at first, both of you lost in your own thoughts. But as you get closer to the Inn, you start to hear voices - the gathering is still going strong, laughter spilling out into the street.
"Everyone's going to know," you whisper, suddenly very aware that you're about to face all your friends after what just happened.
"Probably," March agrees, but he doesn't sound concerned. If anything, he sounds satisfied. "Your face is still flushed. And your hair-" He reaches over to fix a strand that's out of place. "Everyone's going to take one look at us and know exactly what we were doing."
The way he says it makes your stomach flip and eyes widen. Part embarrassment, part something else.
"You're enjoying this," you accuse.
"Maybe," he admits, that dangerous smile back. "You're cute when you're flustered."
Before you can respond, you hear footsteps approaching. You try to pull away from March, but his arm tightens around your waist, keeping you close.
Juniper and Valen round the corner, clearly having stepped out for some air. They stop when they see you both.
"Well, well," Valen says, a grin spreading across her face. "Look who decided to come back."
Juniper's eyes travel over both of you, brow raised - your flushed faces, March's possessive hold on you, the way you can't quite meet their eyes. Her smile turns knowing.
"Have fun?" she asks, faking innocence.
"Very," March answers before you can speak, and you want to die.
"Uh huh." Valen crosses her arms, looking delighted. "You two disappeared for a while there. What were you doing?"
"Just... talking," you manage weakly.
Both women burst out laughing.
"Right. Talking," Juniper says, not even trying to hide her amusement. "Is that what we're calling it now?"
"Your shirt's buttoned wrong," Valen points out to March helpfully.
March glances down and, sure enough, he'd missed a button in his haste to make himself presentable. He fixes it with absolutely no shame while you wish the ground would open up and swallow you whole.
"We should get back inside," Juniper says, still grinning. "Everyone's been wondering where you two went."
"I’ll bet they have," March mutters.
The four of you walk back to the Inn together, and you can feel the embarassment radiating through your entire body. Valen and Juniper keep exchanging knowing looks and barely suppressed smiles. March, meanwhile, seems completely unbothered, his hand still proprietary on your back.
When you push open the Inn door, the noise of the gathering washes over you. Several heads turn to look, and you watch in horror as Olric's face lights up with glee.
"There they are!" he announces loudly, and the entire bar turns to look.
You want to disappear. Your face is burning so hot you're surprised you haven't caught on fire.
Ryis is grinning. "So? Did March prove he can be exciting?"
"Oh, he definitely did something," Valen says innocently, sliding back onto her stool. "Judging by the state of them."
The group erupts in knowing laughter and catcalls.
"I knew it!" Olric pounds the bar triumphantly. "I told you! Didn't I tell everyone?" He looks around at the group. "Years of watching you two dance around each other, and all it took was one dare."
"Wait," Ryis says, looking between you and March with dawning realization. "Are you two...?"
"Together?" Reina supplies, having clearly been listening from where she's fumbling through ingredients in the cabinets. "I should certainly hope so after they just disappeared for half an hour."
Your face couldn't possibly get any redder.
March, however, just shrugs. "Yeah," he says simply, pulling you closer against his side. "We are."
The casualness of his admission, the ease with which he claims you in front of everyone makes your heart do something complicated in your chest.
The group erupts again - Olric looking vindicated, Valen and Juniper giving each other a knowing look, Ryis looking pleased but unsurprised, Adeline smiling warmly.
"Finally," Hemlock says from behind the bar. "The worst-kept secret in Mistria."
"Wait, you all knew?" you ask weakly.
"Sweetheart," Reina says kindly, "you two weren't as subtle as you thought. March looks at you like you hung the moon. And you get this goofy smile whenever he's around."
"Plus you both disappeared during the same bathroom break three weeks ago and came back with identical excuses," Ryis adds.
"And your lips were suspiciously swollen," Valen chimes in.
You bury your face in your hands. March is laughing - actually laughing - at your mortification. Goddamn it.
"Okay, okay," Hemlock calls out, taking pity on you. "Leave her alone. Everyone back to your drinks."
The group gradually settles back into their conversations, though you catch several people still glancing over with amused smiles. March guides you to a stool, sitting next to you but keeping his hand gently pressed to your lower back.
"You good?" he murmurs in your ear.
"I'm mortified," you whisper back.
"Yeah, but are you okay?"
You take a breath, actually checking in with yourself. Embarrassed, yes. But also... there's something freeing about not having to hide anymore. About March being willing to claim you openly in front of everyone.
"Yeah," you say, leaning into him slightly. "I'm okay."
He presses a kiss to your temple, and you hear Olric make a gagging sound.
"Get a room!" he calls out.
"We just did," March shoots back. "You're all just mad you didn't think of it first."
More laughter. You elbow him in the ribs, but you're smiling now too, face as red as can be.
Hemlock slides you both fresh drinks. "So," she says with a grin. "Does this mean March won the bet?"
"Definitely," you admit.
"Worth it though?" Juniper asks, eyes twinkling.
You glance at March, who's watching you with that soft expression he only shows when he thinks no one else is looking. Then you remember everything that just happened in the forge, the way he'd pushed your boundaries, discovered something about you that you hadn't even known yourself.
"Yeah," you say quietly. "Worth it."
March's hand tightens on your back, nails scratching through your dress, and when you meet his eyes, the heat present there again promises this is far from over.
"We really should talk," he says, low enough that only you can hear. "Tomorrow. About tonight. About what you like."
Your face flushes again as you swallow hard, but you can’t help but nod.
"My place," he continues. "After work. We need to figure out what else you might be into. And what I want to do about it."
The promise in his voice makes you shiver.
But for now, you're both content to sit at the bar with your friends, nursing drinks and fielding teasing comments. March keeps finding excuses to touch you - a hand on your knee, fingers playing with yours, his arm around your shoulders. Every touch is a claim, a statement: you're his, and he doesn't care who knows it anymore.
Eventually, as the night winds down and people start heading home, March walks you back to your farm. The streets are quiet now, just the two of you under the stars.
"Thanks for tonight," you say at your door.
"For winning the bet?" he asks with a smirk.
"For that. And for..." You struggle to find the words. "For making it special. Even though it was crazy and terrifying and-"
He kisses you, soft and sweet, so different from the intensity in the forge.
"Tomorrow," he promises when he pulls back. "We'll talk about all of it. Figure out what this means. What we want."
"Tomorrow," you agree.
He kisses you once more, then steps back. "Sleep well. If you can." He winks, turning around.
You watch him walk away, back toward the bridge into town, and you're smiling despite your exhaustion.
You barely sleep that night, mind replaying everything. The dare, the forge, the almost-caught moments, March's voice in your ear. The way everyone at the Inn had looked at you both, knowing almost everything.
Tomorrow, you'll have to face everyone again. Tomorrow, you and March will have that conversation about what you discovered about yourself.
But tonight, you fall asleep with a smile on your face, March's voice still echoing in your mind: Good girl, Such a good job staying quiet.
