Work Text:
Glennath hated Baldur’s Gate. He only came to the city to do business. It was easier that way. He had also watched too many of his friends get taken by the worst city on the Sword Coast. One lingering regret was the reason he kept coming back when he wasn’t on business. It was his worst kept secret and he knew that if anyone ever found out, it would doom him forever.
Thankfully, that worst kept secret also kept him at arm’s length. Shar was not about indulgence, though Shadowheart found ways around it to find room for him as he tried to get rid of her the way he was taught when both felt that they hadn’t seen each other for too long. Both caused them to meet up in the city at extremely convenient times. At those times, Glennath was always at wits end. That night in the Mother Superior’s mansion in the Upper City was no different.
“Not today, little Sharran.” Glennath growled. He pushed her elbows out from underneath her as she attempted to straddle him. The knife in her hand clattered across the room as it was swallowed by the dark corners. Before she could turn around to fight him, he yanked her back by her ponytail.
The hiss she let out was one of anger and ecstasy.
“I am so sick of you talking about the Lady of the Night every time we’re together.” He replied as he angled her face to where he could touch it.
He struck forward and bit her with full force. He did not bother to hide his intentions. He let his teeth sink into her skin until he could taste her blood. She had done that to him more than once before, and it was his time to return the favor. Shar would never forgive him for sending her favorite back to her broken, battered and bruised as she usually did to him.
Good.
For tonight, her precious Mother Superior was his to claim and own like he should have been able to in the first place if it weren’t for her stupid rules.
Before Shadowheart could answer him, he took one of his hand’s and smacked downwards on one of her butt cheeks. Even she could not take the surprise shock of how hard he had struck her- she yelped.
“You should be more sick of what I’m going to do to you.” She managed to mangle out.
“You should be more aware of who is in control this time, Mother Superior.” Glennath laughed at her as he summoned a mage hand to put behind her body so she could not fight back as he pushed her head forward onto the cold unyielding floor.
His hands pulled the rest of her skirt upwards. She fought him even still, writhing in his grasp, but his grip on her wrists was iron clad. He could see the reflection of her face in the tile. She was no longer smiling, but her green hazel eyes met his from where he had her on the floor. There was still mirth in them, and that was something that enraged him the most.
Glennath pulled down his pants and slammed his cock into her, stroking at a pace that he knew he could not keep up. The entire time, his eyes went back to hers on the tile. She did not make a sound as he entered and left her all too soon. He never expected her to.
He finally looked away from her, and he heard her give a breathless cackle. She thought she had won again. Even mid pleasure, he summoned another Mage Hand to hold her wrists behind her back as he plunged into her again and again, trying to make himself forget how they felt together. One of his hands pulled her hair back and his other buried his nails deep into her pale skin. He made a circle around her chest, digging this frustration further into her chest.
He got what he wanted- a reaction. Shadowheart hissed, the sound echoing around the chamber they were in.
Glennath did not just want Shar, the petty Goddess she was, to see how he had marked her precious Chosen. He wanted Shadowheart’s precious congregation to see what she was doing in the very little free time she was afforded.
Shadowheart could have healed the circle of him he harshly etched into her flesh. She was a cleric, after all, and a damned good one. Yet her Goddess demanded that she wear all the scars given to her without hiding them.
Most people were hypocritical of their worship to any god. Shadowheart was not one of those people. She believed with every fiber of her being and would adhere to her Goddess’ laws even if she wished it was not so. Otherwise, this they shared infrequently would be much different.
Instead of thinking any further about that, and inviting thoughts that he had no right to dwell on, he tugged on her hair again, yanking it to the other side so he could get his mouth to her ear.
“You haven’t said a word.” He gloated gleefully between ravaging her so that she had trouble speaking.
“I have nothing to say.” She whispered back.
His grin turned devilish.
“Shame. You seem to have a lot to say when you’re the one in control.” He mocked her. His gloating was sincere and sorrowful all at once.
Her hazel green eyes flashed with something he thought he recognized from a very long time ago. The recollection of their past adventures made his heart hurt. He had wanted it all with her. He did not know what all was and would never, but this kept him awake on most nights. He realized his mistake when her eyes clouded back to almost glazed over from pleasure, but not out of focus.
Despite her arms being bound, he felt something sharp in his eyeball. He recoiled from the blow. For just a second, his mage hand around her wrists wavered, but he was back on her and inside her again. He moved his hand to the base of her scalp and pressed her face against the tile so he did not have to see it.
His eye began to shut, and pain began to throb inside of it, but he never stopped striking her even harder with his cock for daring to hit him. Blissfully, his pleasure began to overtake the pain he felt and quell it with a rise of cold in his belly that spread through his soul.
Shadowheart’s head scraped against the floor from the force of her taking. Yet she never said a word against it. She never said a word for it, either, but Sharrans knew no pleasure. They only knew pain in all senses of the word and their leader- their Mother Superior- was supposed to lead them into her loving nihilistic embrace.
His own peace finally took him and his mind grew quiet. He finished inside Shadowheart his way, claiming her as his for the night. Despite all of Shar’s jargon that she liked to spew from her pretty little lying lips, he did miss Shadowheart’s voice. She rarely used it when they were like this, but she did not want to. The other fantasy was a children’s tall tale, and they were both grown adults who had no need for such things.
Despite his roughness to her and inside her, he picked her up from the tile. Her cheek was red from being rubbed back and forth against the dark purple tile, and she was panting.
“Are you alright?” He dared to ask her.
“Better than alright.” She admitted.
As Glennath killed his enemies, he killed the words on his lips. There was no time for “I’m sorry”, “You wanted me to,” and every other phrase that popped into his brain in Common.
“I’m glad.” He replied. That was genuine. That was good. That was safe to say to her whenever they met like this. They may never have what they wanted from each other, but they had enough. As much as Glennath wondered what it would have been like to have her all to himself in much softer ways, he did quite like the roughness of the night.
