Work Text:
Steve was a freak. And it was all Eddie Munson's fault.
Ever since Eddie had introduced him to age play and age regression, Steve had never been the same. After playing, he always felt filthy and raw, like Eddie's perfect little slut. And after regression, he always felt calmer and stronger, like whatever might happen the following day he could face head on with no hesitation.
Perhaps getting Eddie as a college roommate was fate pushing him in the right direction, because Steve had never felt so happy. He was a freak. A weirdo. And he loved it.
He still hadn't told anybody, not even Robin. He hadn't even told her he and Eddie were dating. He didn't know why, but he just sort of wanted to keep Eddie to himself for the time being. Besides, revealing that he's dating Eddie would also mean he'd have to come out as bisexual, and dear god he was not ready for that yet. Not that there's anything wrong with being gay or bi or whatever... he's just seen Robin cop too much shit for being that way, and he wasn't quite prepared to deal with all that himself.
Though Steve guessed he should probably tell Robin sooner rather than later. Not about the kink, just about Eddie. So one sunny weekend as he sat studying in a quiet corner of the college quad, he decided that that night will be the night. He'd just... come right out with it. Just rip the band aid off on his new found queerness.
But what if she didn't take it well? Steve knew she'd never outright mock him or be mean in any major way, but what if she thought differently of him? She – and everyone in town for that matter – had always known him as the athlete high-school prom king with the great hair and the charming smile who could talk the panties off any girl looking for a lay. What if she thought he was just playing around, making a joke out of being gay? She'd be livid! Or what if she thought he was gay? Like... entirely 100 per cent homosexual? How could he explain that he still liked girls... just, boys now too?
Or what if she thought she could no longer bond with him over their mutual love of titties?? What if she thought he meant to put an end to their weekly conversations in which they sexualise women but then feel shit about themselves for objectifying them? They went on that whole roller coaster of emotions every week damn it! It was one of their favourite pass times!
Steve recognised he was spiralling, something he was getting better at doing, so he forced himself to take a few deep breaths. Eddie had taught him a particularly effective breathing technique, which he'd said he always taught his subs. In for four, hold for four, out for four. He called it box breathing.
Steve smiled as he thought about his Daddy. Eddie was so... perfect. So caring and gentle when Steve needed him to be, but dominant and a bit of an asshole when Steve wanted him to be. And yeah, Steve did sometimes want Eddie to call him names and force him onto his knees to suck his cock and pull his hair. But he'd never really force Steve to do that of course. Eddie had made damn sure Steve completely and wholly understood their 'red, yellow and green' safeword system. Plus, he'd always make sure Steve was properly cared for afterwards. Eddie had even told Steve that aftercare was a whole entire thing in the BDSM community, and was vital to a good experience.
Though sometimes Eddie would care for Steve even without sex. And that's what Steve wanted right then. He was nervous about telling Robin, but determined to do it nonetheless. He wished he could talk about it with his Daddy. Daddy always knew what to do.
But alas, Daddy was with his Saturday DND group across campus and Steve still had studying to do. But Steve could feel himself slipping into that fuzzy head space. Little-space, Eddie called it. And he knew no work would get done until he'd calmed his nerves, and the only way to do that was to embrace the regression, if only for an hour or so.
Steve remembered his Daddy had given him money to buy a treat, which made Steve instantly smile and jump up to go find a vending machine. When he found one, he spent a slightly unreasonable amount of time picking out a snack – a diet root beer – before skipping back off to an even quieter part of the quad.
Being a Saturday afternoon, not many students were around, so under the shade of a large oak tree, Steve felt comfortable enough to pull out his colouring book and crayons from his backpack. Daddy had got them for him when he first started being Little, and together they had completed nearly the whole book! Daddy had told him not to worry about making it perfect and keeping in the lines, because the messier he coloured, the Littler he'd become. But that didn't stop Steve from wanting to make it good. Daddy had hung a few up on the inside of his closet, and Steve wanted this one to be good enough to make it there too.
So he lay on his belly in the grass, with his root beer and his crayons within reach, and got to work. He'd picked out a picture of a panda and a beaver having a picnic in a forest, and first he thought hard about the colours he wanted to use. Then, he thought about if he wanted to add anything to the picture before he filled the colour in. The panda and the beaver looked so happy, so he drew some balloons and a party hat on the panda, and even a birthday cake on the picnic rug.
The drawings were not very good, his art teacher would have fainted if she saw them, but Steve knew his Daddy would love it – so as an extra extra, he drew some love hearts, just for Daddy, which he coloured Daddy's favourite colours – black and red.
Steve got invested in the picture real fast, every time he finished a section, he had a gulp of root beer.
Somewhere around the halfway point, Steve started to notice his bladder getting full, but the signals his body was sending seemed distant, like a far off worry, so he payed them no heed. And the more he coloured, the Littler he got, until his free hand was at his mouth with his thumb slipped behind his lips. Some drool dripped down onto the page at one point, but Steve just giggled. He knew his Daddy would love that little stain.
When the picture was about three quarters done, the discomfort in Steve's bladder became more noticeable. More painful. But... he was almost done. He could be a big boy and hold it until he was finished. He might even tell Daddy he was a big boy and held it. Daddy would be proud of him. So Steve pressed his thighs together and kept going.
When the picture was done, he ripped the page out of the book and signed his name on the back, as well as a 'for Daddy!' with a bunch more love hearts. But by that point, Steve really needed to go. Really, really bad. He was already squirming on his belly in the grass like a little worm – which he found funny, so he giggled aloud. But that giggle quickly turned to a sharp whimper when it jostled his aching bladder too much. And when Steve sat up, the change in position put even more pressure on it.
He whined and stuffed a hand between his legs, pressed his legs together even tighter as he sat back on his heels.
Steve looked around frantically but... oh no... he forgot where the bathrooms are! Were they in the east wing? Or the north? He remembered there were some in the south wing... but they were so far! At least a five minute walk!
Steve's chest started to hammer as he panicked, hot tears filling his eyes and blurring his vision. He moaned in pain and fear, both hands now clasping his big boy parts as he desperately tried to think of something. But his mind felt too fuzzy. Like all that cotton in his head had become a jungle impossible to trek through, to form any coherent thought in.
Steve closed his eyes and began to cry.
He wanted Daddy. He needed Daddy's help. Daddy always helped him potty when he was Little, especially when it was an emergency! He just needed Daddy... if he was here...
Steve's eyes flung open wide when he felt a rush of unplanned, uncontrollable relief sink through his abdomen as a small stream of pee began to flow. He tried to clamp down on it but no matter how hard he tried the stream got stronger. Warm wetness flooded past his hands and began to drip down into the grass. And it felt so good. So relieving.
Steve couldn't to hold it anymore. Even if he had a choice, he didn't want to. It was too painful. He didn't want to be in pain. So he let go. He removed his hands from his crotch and loosened his body, allowing his butt to drop to the ground between his feet as he stopped fighting it and just let it happen.
All thoughts, all panic and anguish left his mind as hot wet urine tickled over his groin and pooled in the seat of his jeans. He let his eyes flutter shut, a moan of relief leaving him. It felt nice. Oddly comforting. Steve didn't even realise he'd put his thumb back in his mouth until the unique musky twang of the taste of his urine hit his tongue. And he liked that too. So he sucked.
He sucked as he wet himself. It seemed to go on and on, but eventually his stream slowed and ultimately stopped. And when it did, realisation hit him hard like a semi-truck crashing into him. His stomach clenched with utter horror and a cold sweat prickled on his brow.
He just had an accident his pants. In public.
Oh no. No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!
Icy fear and panic gripped him, and Steve started to shake and cry. He'd wet himself. He'd actually wet his pants... this couldn't be happening. This had to be a dream. He'd wake up with a wet bed and Daddy would be there to soothe and clean him up and all this would go away.
But Steve didn't wake up. Because this wasn't a dream. This was real life. And he'd really, actually just peed his pants. And the wet patch... oh no, the wet patch was so big, and so obvious. If he stood up and tried to run back to his room, someone would definitely see, and definitely know exactly what happened. So Steve grabbed his backpack and colouring, and shuffled against the big oak tree. With his knees tucked up and his head buried he began to sob quietly.
Steve thought the shock would have snapped him right out of Little-space, but it only made him go deeper. And now, he was stuck under that tree, helpless and alone...
“What up Dingus?”
The voice of Robin Buckley snapped Steve out of it... not out of being Little, but out of something.
He jerked his head up to see his best friend ambling over with a casual smile on her face. She stopped dead in her tracks however when she saw the tears streaming down Steve's face.
“Shit what happened?” she started, immediately rushing over to crouch beside Steve. Steve tucked his legs up further, hoping she wouldn't see... but... maybe she could help? Daddy was not around, and Steve certainly couldn't help himself. And he trusted Robin, she'd saved his life after all.
Maybe he was just Little, or maybe it was something to do with the worry in her eyes, but Steve found himself lifting his head, sniffing away his tears and muttering, “I had a accident.”
“What? I didn't hear you, your voice is all croaky. How long have you been crying? Did someone do something to you?” Robin looked around the empty quad, hoping to see some non existent assailant she could beat up for Steve's honour.
Steve said louder, with much more a sob, “Robin, I had an accident!”
“Accident?” she repeated. “What do you mean, accident? Did you fall or something?”
Steve shook his head, and slowly, very slowly, lowered his shaking legs to reveal the wet patch on his jeans.
“Oh,” Robin breathed. “That kind of accident...” She looked confused, but not disgusted or anything like that.
Steve nodded, feeling ashamed but also hopeful because now at least he had someone to help him out of this situation. And he was too Little to be worried about her feeling disgusted by him anyway.
“What um... what happened?” Robin asked, voice a little softer.
Steve sniffed, tears running down his cheeks again. In a wobbly voice he said, “I was colouring! It was important colouring for Daddy and, and I got distracted and Daddy gave me money for a treat and I got root beer and I drank it all and I thought I could finish colouring before I really had to go but I couldn't hold it and I stopped trying to hold it and I... I... I...” Steve hiccuped, his rant cut off as he began to sob again.
“Okay. Wow. That was a lot of information.” Robin sat back against the tree. “But I can see you are,” she chuckled humorlessly, “not in the right head-space to unpack all that. Sooo... I'm just gonna... put that away for another time. And believe me, we will be talking about the fact that you didn't tell me you age regress. But for now, I guess... fuck... this is gonna feel so wrong coming out of my mouth...” she winced, then said tightly, “who... is your Daddy? And do you want me to find him? Or her! I know some girls like to be called Daddy!”
Steve sniffled back another burst of tears, hope blooming in his chest. Robin really was gonna help him. He looked at her, at the kindness and gentleness on her face, and said, “Eddie.”
~ Eddie ~
Eddie was having a damn good day. A really damn good day, until Robin Buckley burst in to the library rec room during the last half hour of the session.
“Yo... Edward... Eddie my man,” she laughed awkwardly. The whole table had turned to stare at her. Or more like glare at her. The warlock was about to cast against a level 9 mind flayer and needed a 16 or higher to hit. “I uh...” she cleared her throat. “You kinda need to come with me.”
Eddie looked at her like she had three heads. He barely even knew Robin, what the fuck did she want with him? “Uh yeah... not gonna happen Buckley, we're in the middle of a campaign here.”
“It's gonna have to wait. This is... really important.” She looked... kinda serious, so serious Eddie turned in his chair.
“What could you possibly want with me, Buckley?” He chuckled, “if you wanna buy weed, I'm not holding at the moment, sorry.”
Robin rolled her eyes, but then she said something that made Eddie's stomach drop. “It's um... its your... roommate.”
~
As Eddie and Robin rushed across campus to where she'd left Steve, Eddie shouted under his breath, “what the fuck happened?”
“I don't really know!” she hissed back. “But the bulk of it is he was colouring and he um... he...”
“He what??” Eddie snapped when she trailed off, looking sheepish.
“Well... he... said he was distracted and uh... he kinda...” Robin winced, dancing around the words. Eddie was gonna start getting real fuckin mad if she didn't just come out with it.
“He fucking what, Robin?”
“He had an accident!” she rushed out, way too loudly.
Eddie stopped his frantic strides and turned to face her with wide, angry eyes. She did not just fucking shout that. She looked very thrown off, and very rattled, but Eddie thanked the Upside Down she didn't look repulsed or hateful.
She said, this time in a whisper thankfully, “he uh... he wet himself. He's really upset. He told me you're his um... Daddy,” she breathed the word so softly, “and he told me where you were and that he wanted you so...” Then she gave an awkward smile and did jazz hands.
This is Steve's best friend?
Well, dork or not, she had run across campus to find him, so that counted for something he guessed.
As they started half running again, panic and adrenaline had Eddie's limbs trembling. His poor baby. He'd noticed recently during their last couple of regressions that Steve often didn't listen to his body's signals until they were no longer signals but alarm bells. So he'd set a timer on his watch to remind him to ask Steve every hour if he needed to potty. He'd also been planning on driving to the kink store across the city and picking up a couple more packages of diapers. They'd run through the sample pack pretty quick with just age play scenes, and only had a few left. Eddie hadn't even thought to save them for when Steve actually regressed.
He should have payed more attention. He should have been a better Daddy.
Just as he was really starting to tear into himself in his head, Robin suddenly said, “I'm cool with, just so you know. I heard about age regression like... ages ago. I don't know like... a lot about it, but I know enough to have been able to tell. And yeah, it was kinda totally obvious Steve is not an adult right now.”
When Eddie didn't say anything, Robin continued, “so um... how long have you two been... y'know?”
Eddie sighed. He didn't want to deal with this right now, he wanted to get to his baby as soon as possible. “Three months this Tuesday,” he said curtly.
“Three months?” Robin squawked. “You've been doing this for three months and he hasn't told me?”
“It was all very new to him. He's only just starting to come to terms with it himself.”
And it had been a beautiful thing to watch. To see him slowly loose his inhibitions and let go, let Eddie take control and lead him in pleasure and comfort. Seeing Steve come out of his shell has been hands down the greatest experience of Eddie's life. And he couldn't wait to see more of him. As a submissive, as a Little. As a person... as a boyfriend.
When they reached Steve, Eddie's heart crumpled like a house of cards. He was tucked up against a tree with what was obviously Robin's sweater over his lap, head buried in his hands and sobs jerking his body. Eddie's feet picked up and he was running before he even had time to register a single thought.
When he dropped to his knees beside Steve he immediately wrapped his arms around him. He said softly, “Stevie, sweetheart, what happened?”
Steve just cried, burying his face in Eddie's chest and clinging onto him for dear life. Eddie felt his own eyes sting with tears. He hated seeing his baby so upset. Steve had cried many times during their scenes, but never like this.
“Shh, Daddy's here. Daddy's got you,” he whispered into Steve's hair, gently rubbing the boy's back and rocking him slightly.
Steve continued to cry, but eventually his sobs died down into hiccups and sniffles. “Daddy?” he muttered into Eddie's shirt.
“Yeah princess, Daddy's here.”
“Daddy, m'sorry.”
“What for sweetheart?”
“I... I had accident...” Steve cried.
“I know baby, Robin told me.” Eddie glanced over his shoulder at her, tentatively watching the interaction between the two. If he could have told to her to fuck off he would have. All Eddie wanted to do was scoop up his baby and keep him safe, and even though Buckley had said she was cool with it, Eddie still wasn't certain she wouldn't say something to hurt Steve.
But then she came to sit beside them, a warm smile on her face, and said, “Hey Steve, you said you did some colouring? Do you wanna show your-” she swallowed, still wrapping her head around things “-your Daddy?”
Steve sniffed and finally looked up from Eddie's chest. “'Kay,” he whispered, then reached for his backpack. Then he pulled out one of Eddie's favourite colouring pages yet. It was an adorable scene with a couple of animals – one that Eddie was pretty sure was a panda, and the other... maybe a squirrel? Steve had coloured in so messily – as he usually did when he was Little – that Eddie couldn't tell. But he could tell they were having some kind of birthday party picnic, because Steve had drawn in a bunch of wobbly balloons and a teetering cake.
“Ohhh baby! It's beautiful! You did such a good job! Nice and messy, just how Daddy likes his art.”
Steve cracked a shy smile, but it quickly vanished into a wince and a whimper. “M' cold...” Steve mumbled. “N' sticky, n' smelly...”
“Aww, I know sweetheart.” Eddie placed a kiss to his soft hair and gave him a comforting squeeze. “Let's get you back to our room and out of these yucky clothes, huh? Then Daddy'll take you for a nice hot shower and-” he leaned in to whisper in Steve'S ear so Robin wouldn't hear “-then Daddy'll get you diapered and we'll get into bed with your bottle and your monkey.”
Steve nodded solemnly with a little hiccup. “C-can we... can we watch Sesame Street?”
Eddie smiled warmly. Steve loved the tiny TV and VHS player he'd gotten them for their 2 month anniversary, and just last week at a yard sale Eddie had found a whole box of cartoons on VHS. So far Steve's favourite was Sesame Street.
“Oh! Um,” Robin interjected, “I could get a pizza and bring it to you guys? So you don't have to brave the cafeteria. I think they're doing like a 'food of the world' thing tonight, so it's gonna be pretty packed.”
Eddie hesitated. “That depends. Are you gonna wanna stay?”
Robin rolled her eyes, “Uh yeah dude. I wanna eat pizza and watch cartoons too.”
While Steve looked hopeful at the idea, Eddie just narrowed his eyes at her. If she stayed, chances are at some point with all Steve's wriggling that always does he'd end up accidentally showing his diaper. It was one thing for Buckley to be cool with the regression, but diapers were a whole other can of worms. Even in the kink and BDSM community, ABDL is often frowned upon, mostly because people just didn't understand it.
Robin added, “I mean, it is our night to hang out. And just because Steve is... in a different mind right now... doesn't mean I don't wanna hang out.”
Eddie wanted to keep Steve all to himself after an incident like this, wanted to keep him tucked away from the world and everything that could hurt him. But damn it, Robin looked genuinely sympathetic. And Steve looked genuinely excited – behind the lingering stress and tears that is. And the growing un-comfortableness of his soiled jeans, which was causing him to squirm around more and more. He'd just have to trust that Robin actually meant it when she said she was cool with it. And that that coolness would extend to the other aspects of Steve's regression.
“Please Daddy?” Steve said, giving Eddie that wide-eyed look he knew he couldn't say no to.
“Yeah, please Daddy?” Robin parroted innocently.
“Ugh, fine,” Eddie caved. “But Buckley. Never call me Daddy again.”
***Here's a little drawing I did to go with the fic, go easy on me tho, I've only been doing digital art for like 2 months***
