Chapter Text
I leant my head out the window. Dad’s cigarette fumes were giving me a migraine.
“Don’t you go on being so dramatic,” he rasped. “we’ll be stopping soon enough.” I rolled my eyes at that, he’d only said that for the past five hours. I was so hungry that my stomach stings and thirsty enough that my tongue felt harsh and dry in my own mouth.
“I need to use the John, Dad.” My brother complained. If it was me complaining I would take a backhand for it. ‘Boys are just more useful.’ They’d all excuse it with.
“We’re low on gas, we might need to stop anyways.” He’d replied. Of course, the moment he needs something is when we’re magically going to stop anyways. I shake my head and turn back to my new pastime of watching the inky night canvas of trees and bushes fly past. We came up to a sign along the road.
“Captain Spaulding? What wack ass hick shit is this?” Dad scoffed incredulously. My brother’s face lit like a Christmas light.
“They’ve got gas and food dad.” He tried to convince him. Even Mom who’d been silent since we left joined in. “It would be good to get some food hun, me and your daughter haven’t eaten since yesterday.” She reasoned. Dad doesn’t look happy, he had that grimace that meant he’d relent though. In rare moments he listens if enough people gang up on him.
“Fine,” He surrendered. “We’ll get some fuckin food at this dumb tourist trap.” Dad Jeered, pushing his foot down on the acceleration. The car lurched in submission, we’re making great headway. I’m glad because I need the toilet too.
Pulling up to Captain Spaulding’s is admittedly amazing. It’s freaky, just the way I like things. My brother and I are racing for the toilets when Dad catches me by my shoulder, hard.
“Ow,” Is all I can whine before he shushes me.
“You let your brother go first,” Dad sneered in my face. “Us men can’t hold it like ladies do.” He excused. That’s bullshit. I frowned and pushed past his hand on my shoulder.
Captain Spaulding watched us curiously as we meandered through the museum. Mom stuck close to me, keeping her hand softly on my shoulder.
“Momma he is taking forever.” I complained under my breath, just loud enough for us two. She patted my shoulder lovingly. “You’ll be okay, baby.” She pulled me back into a light hug, I wrapped my hands around her arms that were snaked across my chest. I shook my head. This roadtrip was the worst thing to happen to us. Dad was bad before, but now he had complete control over everything. He was now talking to Spaulding, who guffawed loudly at some probably disgusting joke.
My brother left the bathroom quickly, throwing me the fake hand with the key attached. I waddled quickly over, I was busting to go. It reeks in here, thanks brother. I sit and feel the relief flood out of me, literally. My ass hurt from sitting so much. Finishing up, I washed my hands and exited the bathroom.
My brother stood looking unimpressed with all the oddities. He pointed to some taxidermied monkey.
“That’s just downright disgusting.” He snorted, Captain Spaulding was clearly offended.
“Don’t you know to keep your negative thoughts to yourself boy?” He spat. “This museum is an accumulation of my life's work.” Spaulding scolded him. Dad apologised for him quickly.
I moved past Dad to hand the bathroom key back to Spaulding. He took the hand, eyeing me curiously.
“Now I haven’t heard a peep out of you missy, you don’t like my museum either?” He asked teasingly. I smiled shyly, looking around me at all the objects and oddities.
“No, I love taxidermy,” I spluttered. Dad scoffed and muttered something under his breath, Spaulding gave him a judging look. “Well I might call you mousy hun, you’re small and quiet as can be.” He complimented, trying to take attention away from my Dad. I felt my smile widen a little, it’s not often I get complimented.
“I’m more interested in what’s in there.” I queried, pointing to the painted double doors next to the counter.
Spaulding’s face lit with joy.
“Now that there is my museum's real treat, mousy!” He gushed excitedly. “That is my murder ride! People come from far and wide to see it!” Before my Dad could say no my brother had already rushed over to plead for us to go on it.
Like usual Dad relented under his pressure.
“Fine we’ll go on the ride.” He sighed. Spaulding led that way to the cart we were meant to sit in. Me and Mom sat up front despite my brother’s protests.
“It’s ladies first in my world.” Spaulding gibed at him, giving me a mischievous wink. It was nice to be first sometimes. A man both tall and wide stood behind the cart silently. Dad nearly jumped out of his skin when he looked behind himself.
“Jesus!” He squealed. “What’s lurch doing here?” He tried to joke.
“That’s my cart operator Ravelli,” Spaulding pouted. “When he’s behind you I can assure that you’re in good hands.” Spaulding reassured comically. “Now quit your gawking” The captain snapped at Dad. “Let’s get on with it!” He clapped. Ravelli started pushing us along the dark and nightmarish track.
The ride was filled with animatronics based off of serial killers, and filled with other creepy decorations and colourful lights. I hung on Captain Spaulding’s every word. He was putting on such a great show as we went down the corridor. My Dad on the other hand was shit talking under his breath the entire ride. When we came out at the end my brother and I for once felt the same, buzzing with excitement. Captain Spaulding went right back behind the counter. Dad handed him the cost of the ride.
“Did you enjoy yourselves, kiddos?” Spaulding coaxed.
“It was great, man!” My brother exclaimed. Spaulding turned to me.
“Not much of a talker mousy?” He teased me.
“It was great, thank you.” I praised. He seemed satisfied with my answer and handed me a paper bag.
“Some complimentary chicken, remember to share.” He warned playfully. I nodded with a giggle.
“Do you think you could help me with some directions?” Dad asked plainly.
“Of course I can.” Spaulding laughed. Dad waved us out of the shop. None of us knew where he was taking us and that’s how he liked it.
Outside the air had a crisp coolness, Texas is surprisingly cold in November. I rubbed my shoulders lightly. Trying desperately to keep warm. Mom leans against the van’s hood. After a few minutes Dad finally leaves. He climbs into the front seat roughly.
“I don’t want to be on the main road when we pull off to sleep, so we’re going to have to stay up late tonight.” He announced.
“Hand me the chicken.” He ordered. Peering into the bag he passed us each a piece. Damn it was good, I devoured that drumstick in seconds. Dad handed my brother a second and I had some small hope I might get a second one too.
“Let’s get back onto the road.” He hummed. I slumped back in my seat, of course not. No extras for me. My stomach gurgled expectantly. A single piece of fried chicken is just a tease.
I started dozing off after a while of driving. I was just awake enough to catch my parents' talk.
“Honey there’s a poor girl on the side of the road.” She whined cautiously. I sat up lazily, looking out the window I saw her
“What? you want to add more time to our drive by picking up some stranger?” He groaned.
“It’d be the right thing to do love.” She protested.
“Whatever you say.” He admitted sluggishly, pulling the car into reverse as we had gone straight past her.
The girl bounded up to the window playfully.
“You hitch hiking?” He asked her dismissively.
“Just up the road a couple miles to my house.” The blonde girl cooed flirtily. My dad raised his eyebrows, clearly intrigued.
“Hop in next to my son then.” He told her. My brother was gawking at her openly as she climbed into the van next to him.
“What? You never seen a woman before?” She scolded him playfully. Seeing her flirt with my Dad and Brother made me shift in my seat uncomfortably. Mom and I exchanged judging looks. We got back on the road quickly. The woman would not stop talking the whole time. I found her irritating at first, she was too childish. That mixed with her incessant flirting gave me this terrible gut feeling about her. Thankfully she nearly wholly ignored me and Mom.
I found myself dozing off again the more I managed to block out the woman's yabbering. The sky somehow was darker than before. It had started to rain, slowly at first, then it came quickly to bucketing down. Claps of thunder rang out accompanied by bright clashes of lightning against the pitch black sky.
‘FWBAP’ went a loud pop as our van started to swerve and lose control on the mud slick dirt roads.
“Awe Shit!” Dad cursed, trying his best not to drive us into a ditch. “I think a tire’s burst.” He screeched. The car struggled to slow in the mud and slipped right off the road, colliding with a scraggled tree. The van's hood crumpled like wet paper against the ancient tree.
“Fuck, Fuck, Fuck!” He screamed. We all scrambled out hastily, massive plumes of smoke rose from our once resilient van. Everyone stood there in plummeting rain and torturous lightning watching the thick caustic smoke.
“We should walk back to my place, my brother has a tow truck.” The woman spilled abruptly.
“You girls stay here, me, him” Dad pointed at my brother. “and the girl will walk back and get her brother to pick you girls up in his truck.” Dad directed. Mom clenched her jaw, clearly wanting to disagree. She kept it to herself, Dad followed after the girl who skipped down the dark and sludgey road.
We waited in the rain for what felt like forever. Mom and I huddled up together against the van, she shielded her mouth desperately trying to keep her cigarette alive. We finally saw the tow truck pull up.
A tall and muscular man exited the truck. His brown hair cascaded down his shoulders in waves, ending limply on his chest. He wore a poncho to keep off the rain and some sort of fur hat. As he approached I realized his ‘fur hat’ was actually the skinned hide of a bear, its mouth, with snout and teeth attached, made up the hats bill in the front.
“Thank you for coming out here at such a time and in such weather too.” Mom breathed graciously. She smacked my arm playfully, she knew exactly what I was thinking. This man was giant, at least 6,9, possibly 7ft. He was handsome too, and shy apparently, I don’t think he responded to her thanks.
He winched the van quickly, it dragged onto his lowered truck bed. This guy did it so casually you knew this was a common occurrence. Mom and I both seemed to not be able to take our eyes off of him, I covered hers playfully.
“You are a married woman.” I giggled quietly, trying to make sure he didn’t overhear it. She swatted my hand fiercely and rolled her eyes.
“I might not stay married after today.” She whispered jokingly. “That man seriously has hands large enough he could grab us by our heads. One for each hand.” She ogled. I burst out laughing, what a weird thing for her to focus on.
“You are terrible, Mom. Poor man is just doing his job and now he’s a victim to us.” I whispered sarcastically. We both giggled like children, pulling ourselves together by the time we had to get into the truck.
“You sit next to him, I don’t trust myself to be so close.” She laughed shyly. I rolled my eyes, seriously poor guy having to be stuck in a truck with us.
I climbed in next to him, having to use the grab handle to pull myself into the cab. Sitting next to him my pelvis tingled. He even smelt good, dirt, grass, motor oil and sweat stamped him. I kept my hands clinging desperately to the tears in the knees of my jeans. I don’t think I’d ever felt so blatantly lustful about a man before.
Once Mom settled in I leant my head on her shoulder and just enjoyed the jittering of his truck’s engine in my lap. I gave Mom a pained look. The man saw it, leaning slightly over me to turn the heater on.
“I don’t feel the cold as much.” He spluttered with the smallest hint of a smile.
“What’s your name?” Mom blurted. She looked at me like she was shocked she’d even ask.
“Rufus,” He answered absentmindedly, keeping his eyes on the road. “Everyone just calls me R.J though.” He added.
“Well, I like your hat R.J” I smiled politely. There was a bit of awkwardness to R.J, that I liked. Humility in a man is way more attractive than the ego and cockiness that my Brother and Dad display. But also, they’re my family. It's not like I should be attracted to them in the first place. R.J was quiet still, but, I did think I saw him smile a little. He slipped the hat off with one hand, trying futilely to wipe some of the rain off onto his also drenched poncho. He then handed it to me, I accepted it cautiously.
“What? no, take it back.” I tried to plead. RJ just shook his head.
“No.” He waved me away with one hand. “Just put it on.” He affirmed authoritatively. I gave up protesting and put it on.
The hide was warm on the inside. I could see how he didn’t feel much cold when he had it on. I couldn’t stop touching the fur, it was impeccably soft. He must take good care of it.
“I hunted and skinned that bear myself.” Pride breaking through his stoic persona. “The rest of the hide is on my bed.” He added, embarrassed.
“That’s so cool!” I gushed. Mom rolled her eyes, she knew how much I loved anything hunting.
“She used to go crossbow hunting with her grandpa all the time.” Mom reminisced. She missed Grandpa just as much as I did, his death is what let Dad take us onto the road. I rubbed her shoulder softly trying my best to comfort her in the cramped cab. He nodded seemingly impressed.
“You haven’t had much chance to get big game then?” He asked curiously.
“I will someday.” I declared confidently, R.J nodded. He seemed to like my confidence.
“I’m sure you will.” He insisted. “If you girls stick around here whilst your vans getting repaired, we have lots of different deer and a lot of wild hogs too.” R.J explained enthusiastically. I shot Mom a hopeful look and she sighed.
“Don’t get your hopes up, that’s your Dad’s decision.” She blustered. My excitement was immediately dashed. R.J shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
Soon after we pulled up to their farmhouse. The rain continued its intensity, same with the thunder and lightning. We left the truck and dashed for the porch. I shivered in the cool air.
Entering their home was awe striking. Taxidermy and trinkets littered every surface of the large house. R.J led us to the right, into their living room. That hitch hiker chick was sitting on Dad’s lap. Mom looked like she might jump them right then and there. I grabbed her arm tightly. Dad scrambled to push the girl off when he noticed us, then he did a double take of me.
“What the hell are you wearing on your head?” He snarked. I crossed my arms, he is such a dick.
“It’s a bear hide Dad, R.J skinned it himself.” I admired, rubbing the hides' fur delicately. He made such a grotesque disgusted face I thought he might throw up then and there.
“Get that disgusting thing off your head right now.” He demanded. My whole body slumped, I felt devastated having to take it off. I handed it back to R.J reluctantly. He looked just as unhappy.
“Your car is near totaled, I won’t be able to get my hands on parts for it for at least a couple days.” R.J explained to Dad. He was still toying with the bear hide in his hands.
A woman made her entrance down their staircase loudly. She was older than the hitch hiker but just as blonde and flirty. Dad stayed stuck on R.J’s words.
“So we’re stuck here?” He bemoaned.
“Well you can stay here tonight,” The older woman cooed. “tomorrow my boy R.J” She rubbed his shoulder playfully. “can take y’all straight to the nearest hotel if that’s what you want.” She chirped. My Dad rubbed his forehead sceptically.
“Ma’am,” The woman interrupted, “just call me Mrs. Firefly.” She asserted. Dad nodded, “Right, Mrs. Firefly. We can’t possibly stay so long.” He tried to play humble.
“Well at this time of night and weather there’s no place else that would be open.” She responded. Dad was stumped, Mrs. Firefly was right.
“Don’t stress about it, my family and I don’t have any qualms with being so generous.” She purred, running her hand along Dad’s shoulder.
“Now, dinner should be ready soon.” Dad made a face like he was going to protest again, Mrs. Firefly shushed him. “Join us.” She begged. “Your daughter looks like she could use some meat in her system.” She joked, disgustingly. Mom pulled me closer to her.
The table was decked out in a whole feast. There was only just enough space on the table for placemats and dinnerplates. Dad hesitated in front of the table.
“Do you normally make such a large meal just for the three of you?” He asked light-heartedly. Mrs. Firefly and the younger girl laughed.
“There’s more than three of us honey.” the younger blonde cackled. “You’ll meet them soon enough.” She grinned.
I had to sit next to one of the heads of the table. R.J took the head spot next to me quickly.
“Grandpa usually sits here, he’s not much of a ladies man.” He joked to me quietly.
“You never eat at the table R.J, you feel okay?” She questioned jokingly, the younger blonde whispered something to her mother. Mrs. Firefly smiled mischievously.
“Baby, go and see if Otis will join us.” She tasked her.
“Baby?” I questioned R.J, he seemed more approachable than the rest of his family.
“Yeah, it’s a nickname.” He said matter-of-factly. That made enough sense so I didn’t really ask anything more.
An old man entered the room slowly, he was really short and grumbled the whole way. I was relieved that R.J thought to take his spot. The old man, ‘Grandpa’ , chattered belligerently. I thought he might be drunk but he very well could just be like that. Old people are strange. Whilst me and R.J talked quietly I noticed Dad kept watching us closely. It felt strange, he never really paid any attention to me normally.
Then Otis joined us. I felt off about him from the beginning. Everything about him from his grim and gaunt face to his leaning saunter sent off alarm bells in my head. It felt like letting a lion enter, the danger was palpable. He looked over each member of my family quietly as he sat across from me. R.J seemed just as tense as I was around his brother.
A tall disfigured man entered the room next. That’s when Dad finally lost his shit. He stood up from the table so quickly his chair hit the wall behind him.
“I have had enough, you people are too strange.” He protested. “We are leaving.” He barked at us.
“Where are we going to go?” Mom questioned, frustrated. “We don’t even know where we are anymore.” She reasoned.
“You really want to stay here? With these people?” Dad asked her.
“Why don’t you quit talking about us like we aren’t sitting right in front of you?” Otis yelled. The tall man had turned on his heel and left by that point. I felt bad for him.
“Why don’t you keep your giant oaf away from my daughter?” He snapped back. I must’ve made a horrified face, because Baby burst out laughing.
“It doesn’t look to me like she wants him away.” She crowed. Dad slapped Baby across the face angrily. That’s when everything went to shit. Otis lunged over the table at Dad and they started fighting harshly, Mom and I jumped up from the table quickly. My brother who was on the other side of Dad tried to pry the men away from each other. Mrs. Firefly and Baby were watching gleefully. R.J pushed himself past me and Mom. He got to the two men on the floor and waited closely. He grabbed Otis by his shoulders and yanked him away from my Dad. Otis kicked and screamed even in R.J’s grip.
“We’re leaving.” Dad spat, gasping for breath. His face was bloody. Clearly his strength wasn’t much compared to another man’s. I crossed my arms at his order.
“I’m not leaving.” I told him agitatedly.
“What do you mean?” He asked bitterly, eyeing me expectantly.
“I mean I’m not leaving to go wander the middle of fucking nowhere in the dark.” I said deadpanned. I wasn’t going to go get killed in a thunderstorm because he’s too much of a dick to get along with anyone for more than four hours. I looked at Mom hoping she’d put her foot down too.
“We can’t stay now.” She told me, avoiding eye contact. I shook my head and looked to Mrs. Firefly.
“Would you let me stay still?” I asked her sincerely. She smiled sweetly.
“Of course I would.” She told me. That was all I needed to know. Dad made a confused noise, I don’t think I’d ever disobeyed him so openly like this.
“You are not seriously telling us you’ll just stay here?” He grilled me.
“That is exactly what I’m saying. If Mom and my idiot brother were smart they would too.” I told him coldly. Dad scoffed something fierce.
“You really think I will just let you stay?” He threatened, stepping closer to me.
“Do you really think hitting me is going to make me go with you?” I scoffed dryly. He gave me one long look before turning around and leaving.
“Hope you don’t regret choosing these strangers over your own family.” He cautioned.
I sat back down at the table. Weirdly, I didn’t feel sad or angry or much of anything really. My heart beat felt like it might leap out of my chest. I would’ve never guessed how today would turn out.
“Well congratulations, you’ve dropped a lot of dead weight.” Baby pulled a chair up next to me, looking at me curiously. I smiled weakly, this was going to get awkward real fast.
“At least soon to be dead meat.” Otis laughed. I giggled a little bit just to avoid dead air. They all exchanged looks, clearly I wasn’t privy to something.
“R.J you’ll have to deal with her.” Otis instructed him. R.J made an uncomfortable face and shook his head no. I was starting to get uncomfortable too, I stood up from the chair and backed up a couple steps.
“Really? You’re pussy whipped already.” Otis shook his head. He grabbed a bat that I hadn’t seen leant against the wall and started to approach me. Surely the bat hadn’t been there the whole time? I turned on my heels and tried to run but Otis was quick. He tackled me down onto my stomach and that’s the last thing I remembered.
I sputter awake, seeing nothing but darkness. They gagged me, blindfolded me too. I struggle to move. My hands and feet are both restrained and tied down. I try to yell out making strange muffled noises. My mind is racing. What the fuck is going on? My head is killing me. What did I just lead myself into? I jump at a touch. Someone's cold and calloused hand is resting on my stomach.
“Good morning.” R.J’s voice speaks quietly in the darkness. “I thought you might be in a coma with how long you slept.” He jokes with a slight chuckle. What is he going to do to me? I can’t help but cry a little. R.J is quiet as the tears roll down my cheeks.
“Why are you crying?” He asks, seeming genuinely confused.
“You’re nearly completely covered in bruises Hun.” He told me sadly. “I can’t believe you lived with that evil dickhead for so long.” He led his hand up my chest sensitively. “As long as you behave, I’ll take the gag off later tonight.” He promised me. I take a long breath through my nose. I’m trying to calm down, it seems impossible in this situation but I don’t want to find out what will happen if I don’t behave.
I try to figure out where I am. If I move around enough the surface I’m laid on is spongy. I assume it’s a bed.
“You don’t have to worry about taking the hat off again. Your Dad won’t be a problem anymore.” He spoke softly as if he were in an intimate moment. He must be crazy, they must all be. How often do they do this to act so normal about it? These things ran through my mind.
The door opens roughly, with enough force to smack the wall.
“Your little plaything is awake?” It’s Otis. I can’t help the fear that jumps onto my face.
“She’s only just woke up, give me some time to get her comfortable.” R.J tries to send him away.
“Comfortable? You aren’t thinking about untying her are you?” Otis questions R.J and the taller man is silent.
“If you do that and she tries anything we will have to kill her. Just keep her tied up till you’re done with her, like me and baby do.” Otis instructs him to my horror. R.J puts a hand on my cheek.
“I’m not like you and Baby. There won’t be any getting done with her.” R.J spits frustrated.
“You are really living in fucking la la land if you think she isn’t going to try and escape at some point.” Otis mocked. “It’ll be you taking her out if she does. So keep your leash tight on her.” Otis warned him before slamming the door behind him as he left.
R.J’s hand shook as he held my face, he must be upset. He leant his head on my chest and just breathed slowly and deeply. I could feel his breath tickle my skin. Clearly he’d taken my clothes off before tying me up. I was vulnerable.
“Your heart is beating a lot slower than I thought.” He told me. “Do I not scare you as much as Otis?” He questioned glumly. I shook my head no. Otis freaked me out from the moment he walked in the dining room. At least RJ seems to want me alive.
“I promise he won’t have much to do with you.” R.J reassured. He leant back down against my chest. I couldn’t help but tense against his exploring hands. I felt his fingers trail up and down my thigh rhythmically. I felt him tense up against my body.
“It was a grizzly, probably nine feet tall.” He told me absentmindedly. “That bear I took down, you’re lying on its pelt right now.” I could hear the smile on his face. So I’m in R.J’s room. He adjusted again, it felt like he was cradling me.
“I think I’ll call you Fawn. Something about you is so protectable.” He murmured it serenely. He seemed to enjoy just being able to speak to me and have me listen. “He wanted to have you instead.” He said abruptly. “Otis, I mean. I wouldn’t let that happen. I’d hate to see something precious as you tortured the way he does it.” He started to ramble, drawing in long breaths of my hair. I felt completely exposed not being able to see anything. If I focused hard enough I could almost imagine us in third person, it was eerie.
“Y’know I don’t think I’ve ever felt this way towards someone before.” He admitted shyly. “That’s why I have to keep you to myself.” He professed. I need to play into what he wants, anything he wants. His hands still explored my body, inching closer to my vagina. He was clearly working himself up.
“Have you ever had sex before?” He purred into my ear, I shuddered at the feeling of his hot breath behind me. I shook my head no. I am a virgin. I hate where this is going.
“I’ll wait for you to be ungagged and blindfolded for your first time.” He faltered, relief washed over me. “But,” my breath hitched. Of course there was a ‘but’. “I at least want to taste you, I’ve been waiting for it since the car ride.” He mumbled. If Dad hadn’t gotten into that argument with the Firefly’s I probably would have snuck over to spend the night with R.J, it’s hard knowing that just a small deviation in events might not have had me end up here. I swallowed anxiously, my mouth still full of cloth as he adjusted again. He got on top of me and just sat kneeling over my torso for a moment. My anxiety spiked, I couldn’t tell what he was doing. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself once again. I felt him shift again and he went from kneeling over my stomach to placing himself between my legs. His hands felt stone cold as he placed them on my inner thighs.
He kissed from my pubic area to my clitoris slowly. I was surprised at how lovingly he treated me, I expected him to be a lot more selfish. He seemed to genuinely want me to enjoy his mouth. He used his tongue on my clitoris gently, circling it to my body's delight. This must have been his own way of torturing me. His family wants me dead. He has me tied up against my will, only to make me squirm with pleasure. He moves his tongue to my vaginal opening, diving it in ferally. He pressed his face into it, his nose pushing on my clitoris as he worked. It felt amazing, like nothing I’d felt before. I wish I could see him working at me. I squirmed against my restraints as I felt the heat of an orgasm building. R.J’s hands gripped my waist forcefully, holding me in place. My moans were muffled by the cloth he’d gagged me with. My skin felt burning hot the closer I got to coming. He could clearly tell I was nearing climax as he worked more vigorously on my hole and clitoris. I came, twitching and sweaty. R.J didn’t stop until I was desperately trying to squeeze my legs closed in spite of the restraints keeping them wide open. He gave my pubic mound one final kiss. His lower face was drenched in me. I felt him sit back on the mattress.
“That was just what I needed.” He sighed quietly. “I’m glad you enjoyed it.” I could hear his smile. He leant back on me, his head resting on my stomach. “Even if you probably didn’t want to. I don’t blame you for being mad at me right now.” He told me insecurely. I shook my head no, between the dopamine and oxytocin flooding me I don’t think I could be mad right now. I’d never experienced something like it.
“I think I deserve a drink.” He laughed to himself. “I’ll get you some water, my little fawn.” He cooed as he sat up, leaning close to kiss my forehead. I laid quietly, trying to catch my breath. The heat left my body quickly and I felt cold as ice. I struggle to resist a shiver.
R.J left quietly, I heard the door click closed. I shifted on the mattress. If I wanted to test my surroundings now was the time. I wiggled my body down the bed. My thinking is that R.J is tall so his bed is probably just as tall. Being a lot shorter than him, the restraints tying my legs to his bedframe would have to be quite long. As I inched slowly down the bed, my arms being held near straight over my head, I felt the restraints on my ankles slacken. That’s exactly what I was looking for. I slid my body back up the mattress knowing that he could be back any second. I hate being blindfolded, it made me so anxious to know that I am completely defenseless. In this house that’s obviously one of the worst things you could be. I hope for my sake that R.J was serious about there not being any ‘done’ with me, no matter what that means for my body and mind. I get the feeling that a Firefly execution will be anything but painless.
The squeaking turn of the door handle jolted me out of my thoughts. I lifted my head towards the sound expectantly.
“You miss me?” He asked dryly, I felt his heavy footsteps through the wooden flooring. He tugged at the knot on my gag, prying it loose. I spat the cloth out eagerly, ready to rid myself of its mildewy taste. I waited for my drink, god I am thirsty. R.J didn’t do anything for a long while. I started to panic, maybe he wanted me to use my manners? Dad would sometimes withhold food or drinks from me until I showed him the ‘proper’ gratitude.
“Thank you.” It came from me uncertainly.
“You aren’t going to scream or beg for your life?” R.J’s disbelief was clear in his tone. My brain faltered. Should I have? The only people around are other Firefly’s and R.J seems to be the safest of them for me, life wise at least.
“You don’t want to kill me though, do you?” I asked quietly.
“Of course I don’t.” R.J stammered. He seemed taken aback I’d even say it. He leant in close, pushing surprisingly soft fingers through my hair. I shuddered under his touch, still reeling from the orgasm.
“Thirsty?” He questioned softly. I smiled shyly.
“Very.” I pleaded. I felt R.J press the cup softly to my bottom lip. He waited for me to open my mouth, tilting the cup cautiously as I swallowed in swift exasperation. The water was slightly metallic tasting. R.J laughed at the sight.
“God, desperation is hot on you.” He swooned as the last skerricks of water hit my mouth. I sucked in deep breaths, having held it for the mouthfuls. R.J brushed a hand over my face gently.
“I think it’s time we put ourselves at rest.” He cooed as I felt his body graze mine. “It’s been such a long day, I’m sure you’re exhausted.” He pressed a hand firmly on my stomach as he climbed over my body. His hand felt blistering hot on my cold skin.
“You’re freezing,” He told me concernedly.
“Do you have any blankets?” I asked shyly.
He clambered back over me and off the bed wordlessly. I think he was embarrassed. His footsteps trailed off but I didn’t hear the door move. He must have left it open. That thought terrified me. Anybody could be in that hallway looking in, even Otis. God Otis, I prayed that I didn’t have to deal with him much more for however long my life here might be. That man would happily take me out. I was so worried about one of the other Firefly’s coming in that I started to hear things. I was completely freaking myself out about footsteps and creaks that weren’t even real, at least as far as I knew.
“Otis get out.” R.J grumbled. I nearly jumped out of my skin. I wasn’t freaking out for nothing, Otis had actually snuck into the room. Terror smacked me once again and I audibly gasped. Otis laughed and it sounded like he was standing right in front of me. I heard his footsteps trail out of the room quietly. I think RJ could tell I was terrified.
“You didn’t know he was in here?” He asked me, his voice was laden with concern. My heart was beating so fast.
“No, I was so worried about someone coming in whilst you were out I thought when I heard footsteps and creaks that I was just psyching myself out.” I sputtered.
“Oh god, I’m sorry. I’ll start locking the door.” RJ told me anxiously. He draped an itchy quilt over my body before finally climbing back over me and into the bed.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to leave you so vulnerable to him.” RJ squeezed me between his arms apologetically. “I’ve locked the door and you have me to fight him off if anything happens tonight.” He kissed my shoulder reassuringly. “So, just try and get some sleep, little fawn.” He cooed lovingly. His reassurances worked. I felt so much safer pressed up to him in the bed. Not that I trust and love him wholly now just that he’s my ticket to living another day.
“Goodnight R.J.” I whispered. He’s extremely handsy, he still let his fingers run paths across my torso. I started getting comfortable with it and slowly approached sleep. I hope R.J’s trust in me builds quickly. I want this blindfold off tomorrow.
