Work Text:
The castle, which looks mighty, is not like that, as one might think. All the people living around it live happily, without any worries, just having fun all the time. Someone blows in a tube, creating a crowd of people behind him, someone fixes bread, and a certain one knows all the secrets and mysteries of shadow crystals, revealing them to us with caution.
Music plays somewhere in the distance, with the lightest tones of the piano, so light that it seems to double, with the synchronous sounds of small bells accompanying all this magical sound. It feels so pleasant that you just want to dance, with your eyes closed, holding hands with your loved one.
A white, cute, and fluffy inhabitant of the dark world, known to everyone around as the one who carries a prophecy on his shoulders, they call him Ralsei. And also one more character, known as the resident of the upper "light" world, who got here through a storage room in a school, and known to be the hero, who will put an end to the prophecy, blue-skinned in a distorted reality, Kris.
At the moment, they are talking to each other right in front of the main entrance, next to a guide to absolutely everything. It could be called a conversation if Kris said anything at all, because only Ralsei constantly talks about the things he would very much like to see if he could visit the light world. Vivid fantasies couldn't stop the flow of his words, but only added fuel to the fire, and it showed no signs of ending.
The red blush from his desires was more visible to Kris than ever, and how pleasant it is to look at his pretty face, shining with a smile. Although our hero's stony face showed no signs of emotion, their heart melted at the sight of it all, continuing to beat faster and faster.
"I like it," Kris thought, which seemed unusual for them, but heart said otherwise.
The body, disobeying them, moved incredibly close to Ralsei, which made him a little embarrassed:
"Kris... Is e-everything okay?"
Before he could react, one hand elegantly taken Ralsei's hand, and the other took his waist, carrying the two into a slow, peaceful dance, spinning around the same guide they were near. Kris looks at the face of our white fluffy friend, which is now covered with even more embarrassment, so much so that it is now visible on his long, adorable ears, in which he would simply hide from it. But both hands are busy, and all attention is on the dance itself.
Ralsei has never been so happy to be caught off guard like this; it wasn't in the prophecy! So all he did at that moment was enjoy Kris's company, chuckling, being happy.
The dance continues for as long as they want it to be. Time is imperceptible here, so even if a whole day passes up there, it won't change anything for them, because they clearly haven't had so much pleasure in a very long time.
And now, the last moment that ends the dance, when, holding one hand, they both bow politely to each other. Both of them have a slight blush on their faces, either from the activity or because they enjoyed it so much.
"I knew you could play the piano, but I didn't know you could dance!" Ralsei was pleasantly surprised by this fact.
A simple nod could be seen from Kris's head, a short but still precise and confident response. And again, the pounding of his heart gave his body no rest.
Standing incredibly close to each other, Kris took Ralsei's hand again, not to continue the dance, but to take the final step.
Kris began to close their eyes, bringing head closer to Ralsei's. He had never experienced such a level of embarrassment before. The prophecy had always been written in such detail that it was impossible to deviate from it. It was something beyond comprehension. But even so, he began to close his eyes too, reaching out into his embrace, and finally, the long-awaited kiss.
And the music was still playing, improving their connection with each other. This helped them become a real couple who would enjoy it as much as they wanted.
