Work Text:
The Eurostar hummed beneath him as it smoothly whisked them under the channel. Richard took a bite of one of the luxurious cheeses provided for the primer seats. Will took a bite of his own food a moment later.
Richard had done all the ordering. In fact, Will was not to speak to anyone but Richard unless spoken to first and absolutely necessary. Any oddness was perhaps covered by the fact that Richard ordered everything in French and people assumed that Will didn’t speak the language.
The schedule had changed for the off-season. With various players heading out of town and no matches, Will got to spend several days in a row with whomever was next on the schedule. Richard had stated that they were going to do Paris. But they were going to do it his way. After Paris he was going to be put on a train to Amsterdam for his time with Jan
The suit Will was put in made him look like an executive assistant to an extraordinarily posh banker, however the waistcoat held a secret in that it was actually heavy corsetry that laced up the back, forcing Will’s posture to never fail.
And that had just been the beginning of their long weekend. Will had walked through the train station exactly two steps behind and to the right of Richard with Richard holding both their passports. He’d had to request to use the lavatory to re-apply the numbing cream to his cock. That was a travel requirement.
Richard took a sip of wine and Will took a sip of water.
The Gare du Nord station was beautiful, but Will kept his focus on Richard as he kept perfect pace behind, speaking only at the security checks.
The hotel Richard picked out was grand and elegant. Will efficiently unpacked and hung up their clothing before Richard ordered him to his knees. Will knew he wasn’t exactly in subspace. And he wasn’t exactly in the mentality from when he worked in service, but it was somewhere in-between and he couldn’t say it wasn’t sending something warm through him.
He sucked Richard off with the same efficiency as he had used unpacking their luggage.
“We are going to see some of the city, then have dinner. After that we are going to a club to meet some old friends of mine.”
“Oui, monsieur.”
Will didn’t end up with completely clear memories of Paris that day. He followed Richard into tiny art museums, strange little gardens up back alleys. They stopped at a café and Richard ordered pastries that were forbidden during the playing season, with tiny cups of coffee. Through it all Will kept his focus where it was ordered and stood respectfully just a step behind.
The sun had set by the time they had dinner. It was not in a grand restaurant with stars and awards pasted on the front window. It had ten seats and Richard seemed to know the owner. He didn’t look at the menu to order and Will ate what was placed in front of him, each bite small and only after Richard had his.
When they stepped out into the night Richard turned to him and Will had a moment of awareness, after a day focused outside himself.
“What are you feeling? You have an odd look on your face.”
Will scrambled around for a word. “Content. I am very content with my life right now.”
Richard tilted his head. “Content?”
“I’m happy. But happy is like sad. It can come and go easily. But I also think I am content, and content is something that can last.”
Richard smiled. “That is good. Are you ready to meet some people now?”
“Yes, sir. I am.”
They took the metro to nearly the other side of the city. A dim yellow light was over a plain oak door set into a building that looked hundreds of years old, but it was hard to say. Richard took out a key and unlocked the door. The second door right inside was far more modern looking and had a keypad attached.
Richard went through with Will right behind. Inside was jazz music, a long bar, deep booths with old leather seats. The people were well dressed in suits and elegant dresses and… oh.
Will saw a young lady in a stylish black dress turn around. The back of the dress was laced from top to hem forcing her to take only the smallest of steps. She was in heels that while not overly high had small locks attached to the straps around the ankles. A young man about Will’s age was in a posture collar that blended into his perfectly fitting black suit. He moved two steps behind and to the right of a woman in a blue gown who was approaching Richard. Will put his focus back on Richard. He was going to represent England, and Richmond, here.
Richard greeted the woman warmly. Will tried to keep up with the rapid-fire French, and while he was improving in four different languages, he wasn’t about to pass an A level in any of them. He followed Richard and the woman to a booth and mirroring the other young man, and knelt down. He spotted others in similar poses of submission around the club.
Will kept his focus on Richard even as his legs began to tingle. He strained to pick out words he recognised, but most of what he knew was related to either sex or football. It didn’t help that Zoreaux was also teaching him French, just a completely different variety. He was so focused on Richard’s words that he almost missed he was being addressed by the woman Richard had been speaking to.
“Do you really service an entire team?” she asked.
“Yes, madame,” Will answer quickly.
“And do you kneel for all of them like this?”
“No, madame.”
She hummed slightly. “May I ask how you service them? I am very curious.”
“For some I kneel. For some I cook or clean. Some I watch their children so they can spend evenings with their wives. Whatever gives them pleasure or makes their life easier.”
“What a remarkable young man you have here, Richard. I would work on keeping him for myself, but I think he might chafe against that.”
Richard brushed his fingers through Will’s hair. “Yes, I think so as well. But I will take from him whatever he is willing to give me.”
