Jacks has done atrocious, unforgivable things to you, and I truly believe you might be happier if those things were forgotten. That’s what Apollo told her. But when she spoke to him about it, he always left it at that. What did he do? What did she do for being accused of “killing” Apollo? She did NOT want those things to stay forgotten and she couldn’t help but get nauseous when Apollo pulled her against him or kissed her. For that she hated herself. He is her husband for gods sake! And she loves him! At least, that what everyone told her since she couldn’t remember!
She was alone in her room thinking about these things when a voice arose “can I come in?” Apollo knocked at the door and she almost scoffed. As if that was a question. He was already have in her royal chamber anyways. Gods what is wrong with her!
“Come in!” She said anyways. She could now fully see him as he walked to sit on the bed next to her.
“I just wanted to check up on you” Evangeline couldn’t help but smile. “Thank you I’m fine.” She wasn’t even sure about that. She’s been telling a lot lies lately. After she lost her memory. But maybe she always has, because how was she supposed to know? “Telma treating you nicely?” She wondered about the small talk but maybe that’s just how royals spoke. Telma was her head maid, and yes she has been treating her well. As well as possible. “Yes very.” She answered in perfect small talk communication like she wasn’t just talking to her husband. That’s most of the thing Telma taught her. Manners 101, no wait Etiquette 101. “I’ve wanted to show you some news”. Ah that’s what this was about. “Spit it out.” Directly after Evangeline said it she winced. Telma wouldn’t have been proud of her. Apollo noticed it too, his brows furrowed but didn’t say a word. He cleared his throat.
