There is an intermission while the venue crew reconfigures the fight ring. Heizou and Gaming go back to their warm up rooms.
Gaming's room
Gaming, with his fingerless gloves is doing some padwork with Freminet.
F: How are you feeling?
G: I think I'm ready to knock him out again! Although, I bet he's changed a bit since your fight with him. Also with these smaller gloves, it will be a whole new dynamic. I'm pumped for the fight to start!
L: Be cautious though. Who knows what he has planned.
G: Yeah, of course!
Heizou's room
Heizou is striking a wooden post wrapped in rice straw, or a makiwara, repeatedly with his bare fists, while Kazuha is trying to hold it in place.
K: Ugh! Are you sure this last minute exercise will help you? Mmf!
H: I'm doing it to reinforce my confidence. Even if I lose, I'll make sure it will be Gaming's most painful victory so far!
K: Hey-Mmf! Smile, my friend! You can win!
H: I'm taking a lesson from you samurai. Don't you go into battle expecting to die?
K: Ok yes, but this isn't a fight to the death! Ack!
H: I'm still throwing away all thoughts of winning so I can focus on hurting him!
K: Sigh... Ugh! Ok, I hope you hurt him!
H: Osu!
Gaming arrives into the ring in his brightest pair of red mid thigh fight shorts with green piping, and the small gloves. He pounds his knuckles together and shadowboxes. Heizou enters with a white dogi, and wearing the small gloves too. He stands in his corner, breathing deeply and slowly.
Gaming and Heizou arrive at centre ring. Heizou is staring with deadly intensity into Gaming's eyes. This ignites an inferno in Gaming's eyes! Gaming smiles mockingly and they touch gloves, returning to their corners.
Heizou's corner
K: Ok, get out there and pierce him through!
H: Osu!
Heizou puts in his plain brown mouthguard, limbers up and raises his gloves.
Gaming's corner
F: Gaming, kill him.
L: No no, he's not you Fremi, hehe. Have a fun time out there, Gaming!
G: Thank you, I will!
Fremi inserts Gaming's bright red Suanni mouthguard. Gaming jumps high and stances up.
Round 1
Gaming reaches his fist out to touch gloves. Heizou touches Gaming's glove, but immediately punches Gaming's lower abs!
G: Hmm!... Heh!
Heizou shoots forward with a front kick!
H: Kya!!!
But Gaming intercepts by kicking Heizou's shin, and quickly follows with a spinning back kick to the gut!
G: Hoo! Ha!!
H: Mmf!
F: Do you think the dogi is being used for psycological damage? Gaming can't see if his strikes are causing any damage, visually.
L: Maybe... But he can hear Heizou's pain reaction.
The kick bends Heizou, who is pushed back to the ropes! Gaming pounces and unloads with a vertical punch blitz to the face! Heizou takes 4, but slaps the 5th fist away at the wrist, bends his knees, lowering himself, and digs a straight elbow into Gaming's abs, just above his belly button, and follows up with a wound up punch to the solar plexus! Gaming side steps in time, but receives the punch's full force to his ribs!
G: Oof! *Huff!
Gaming sprays saliva and his mouthguard comes out slightly. He recovers and smirks at Heizou. Heizou rushes him with a punch to Gaming's chin, but Gaming lowers his chin, making it land on his cheek, while he counters with an uppercut to Heizou's chin, rocking his head back! They are both knocked back, but stay on their feet! The crowd roars in excitement! Heizou, taking a bit longer to recover than Gaming, gets kicked on the side of the knee of his lead leg. He steps back, having some difficulty putting weight on that leg. Gaming chases him with another vertical punch blitz, striking Heizou's temple, jaw, upper abs, and lower abs, followed by a diagonal elbow at Heizou's eyebrows. As the elbow lands, but doesn't manage to draw blood, Heizou counters with an uppercut at Gaming's lower abs. They are both knocked back, but before they can both reengage...
Ding!
Heizou and Gaming, both panting, return to their corners.
Upon arriving at his corner, Heizou takes off his jacket and throws it into the audience, revealing his tight waist and abs! A different sight compared to Gaming and Fremi's thick bulky abs. Audience members near where his jacket lands fight over it until one lucky kid claims it. Heizou then sits down and starts meditating. Kazuha lets him be.
L: Ooo, Dang!
F: Woah. He's lost body fat.
G: I want to knee those so badly!
Fremi starts massaging Gaming's abs and Lyney pulls his shorts up to relax his abs.
F: Listen Gaming, clinching him might be a good idea, given that we're good at it, but maybe Heizou has been training too.
G: That makes it better!
L: Perhaps. All part of the fun, eh?
G: Exactly. I'll soften him up!
Seconds out!
Heizou kept his mouthguard in as he meditated and he stands up.
Fremi gives Gaming his mouthguard, which he puts in himself. He pounds his gloves together and stances up.
Round 2
Knowing that Heizou has no intention to play nice, Gaming foregoes a glove touch and starts with a leg kick, landing with a snap. Heizou looks unbothered by it and steadily steps forward. Gaming lands roundhouse kicks to the body and face, but Heizou just keeps coming forward. Heizou feints a jab at the face, then throws three rapid straight punches at Gaming's abs!
G: Gah!
Gaming's mouthguard drops out and he takes a knee.
F: Huh?!
L: Woah.
The ref counts and Gaming gets up at 9. It turns out Heizou struck Gaming with his fists shaped with only his middle finger knuckle sticking out, concentrating all power on it. Gaming's has 3 visible welts on his abs.
Fight!
Gaming flies at Heizou with a tomahawk elbow, landing clean on his forehead, drawing blood! He clinches, but Heizou knees first!
G: Hmm!
Gaming wraps both hands around Heizou's neck and knees hard at his lower abs! Heizou's torso gets bent, but he also locks his hands behind Gaming's head and knees at one of Gaming's welts! Heizou's sharp knee digs deep into the tenderized spot!
G: Mmf!
Saliva sprays onto Heizou's chest as Gaming's mouthguard comes out a bit. Gaming knees back, lifting Heizou's body! Heizou lets one hand go, using the space created by Gaming's previous knee to elbow his face. It cuts below Gaming's left eye and he starts bleeding too! Gaming continues to knee the lower abs, blowing Heizou back! Heizou grabs hold again and knees sharply at another welt, lifting Gaming off his feet! While Gaming is in pain, Heizou knees another welt, hard!
G: Ack!
Gaming is pushed to the ropes!
F: No way! Gaming is losing a knee exchange?!
L: Heizou really has been training to counter Gaming!
Gaming pulls Heizou closer, chest to chest, and knees his ribs. Heizou returns the same. After a few more knees to the ribs, they take a rest, chins on each other's clavicles, both panting from the damage sustained.
Ding!
Gaming's corner.
Gaming drops onto his chair and rests his head on the corner cushion. Fremi immediately starts treating his cut. Lyney wipes off the blood and massages his abs.
G: Ngh! Be gentle!
L: Sorry. Looks like he got you good!
G: Hehe, yeah! I have to get him back for it!
F: You're still smiling.
G: Yeah? Fighting a strong opponent is so much fun!
F: I guess if you feel up to it, keep clinching. You've definitely dealt some damage yourself!
Heizou's corner.
Kazuha treats Heizou's cut and wipes off the blood and saliva on his chest.
K: Good shots there! Keep at it!
H: That felt so satisfying! I'm going to drive in more!
K: Having fun now, hmm?
H: For once, Gaming is on the way to a loss! Of course I'm having fun!
K: Hehe, that's good, but remember to lock in and focus.
Seconds out!
Heizou stands up, puts his mouthguard in and takes off his dogi pants, revealing a pair of tiny white fight shorts.
Heizou throws his pants into the audience, but gives his belt to Kazuha. He also takes off and tosses his gloves, leaving his hand wraps.
F: Dang, look at those thick thighs!
G: All right, dude, if you want to show me the power of your legs and throw down, come at me!
H: Mm!!
Gaming inserts his mouthguard, also tosses his gloves, and they both raise their wrapped fists.
Round 3
Heizou and Gaming charge at each other, fists pulled back! Both land overhand punches on their cheeks, hard! Their gloveless fists, unhindered by padding, hit with full force! They are knocked back from the brutal collision! Heizou manages to recover half a second faster thanks to his karate hardened knuckles dealing a bit more damage. He throws a straight right at Gaming's upper abs. Gaming manages to twist his body in time to have it miss his solar plexus, hitting his ribs! He takes the pain and counters with three rapid vertical punches to the nose, cheek, and jaw. There's a hint of blood that comes out of Heizou's nose. Both follow up with wound up uppercuts to the chin, throwing their heads back and ejecting sweat! They recover and circle each other, then intently walk forward and clinch!
K and F: Oh! Here we go!
Heizou and Gaming both pull hard and knee the lower abs simultaneously!
G: Mmf!
H: Gah!
Sweat flies off their backs as their bodies are blown back! Heizou pulls Gaming closer and pushes him with his chest to the ropes! He knees Gaming's ribs. Gaming knees the ribs too, then as Heizou recovers from the strike, pulls hard on his neck and swings him on the ropes, switching their positions. Now, slightly further apart, Gaming knees deep into Heizou's abs, shaking the ropes! Heizou knees back hard, lifting Gaming, getting himself off the ropes! Gaming uses the momentum to let go, pulls back his fist, and punches Heizou in the jaw, knocking him into the corner! He chases and punches the jaw again! Heizou's head is knocked back and bounces off the corner cushion. While dazed, Gaming grabs Heizou's head and sandwiches his abs between the corner and his knee, shaking the ropes violently! Heizou twists his body, making Gaming's next knee miss, grabs his head and knees back, then switches positions with him while Gaming recovers. They then knee each other simultaneously again! Both try to lift their legs to knee again, but the exhaustion and damage get to them. They just hug and rest for a moment. The ref separates them. They can barely lift their fists.
K and F: Forward!
Gaming and Heizou slowly approach each other and clinch again. Second wind energy allows Gaming to knee Heizou's lower abs, not as hard as before, but still enough to cause an impact. Heizou knees back in the lower abs with his renewed energy. Gaming knees again into the lower abs, sucking the remaining energy from Heizou, who steps back, lowering his body. Gaming takes this opportunity to knee as hard as he can, with the little energy he has left, to the solar plexus! With willpower alone, Heizou also knees, or rather taps Gaming's solar plexus, then drops on the canvas with a thud! Breathing heavily, he spits his mouthguard out. The ref comes check, then declares the fight over! Gaming, who is barely holding on, raises his arms in victory, then takes a seat on the ground, holding his battered abs. Fremi and Kazuha run into the ring to hold their fighter up. After a bit, they manage to stand on their own, then hug each other nice and tight.
H: *Huff *Huff. Good fight. You're strong...
G: Likewise... That was fun... You hit me so hard!
H: Hehehe... You too!
The crowd claps and cheers.
