Ancient Empire Reborn

Summary:

Years before Darth Banes radical Purge of the Sith, before the rule of two, there was one who escaped this cruel fate. one of the Sith froze himself in Carbonite, slept for centuries till he is risen once more. barely a decade before the Clone Wars, Darth Twilight, plans for the future of his Empire but soon receives a vision ,barely after his awakening ,of a future most foul. Darth Twilight must prepare for the coming war that will shape the fate of the galaxy and it's future. Will he succeed in conquering the galaxy? building an empire of his image? or die before the hands of Sidious.

Chapter 1: The long sleep

Chapter Text

The Galaxy is in madness, the once great Sith empire is in decline and there is no end to the ignorance and hubris of the Jedi or the Sith. Yet here I am, almost alone on the edge of this dying empire, in a Cavern far below the surface of this nameless world. A world completely erased from as many star charts I could get my hands on, with some blood spilled as a result. but for my plan to succeed I needed at least one trusted companion...A droid.

the Astromech Droid is the only one I could genuinely trust in this galaxy, helped serve my family for almost two hundred years, till now that is. Now that the empire is slowly coming to an end after it's failed last war, there's only  one way for me to survive in these dark times. So for the past few years I have built a secret chamber on this now erased world with the key to my survival...Carbonite.

I can't confirm if anyone had survived sleeping for a hundred years or even longer, risking my life is near ludicrous but I had no choice. " P2...I am leaving you with a simple yet important task, you will wake me up once the empire has either collapsed...or better yet, when the cursed Republic is weak enough for me to easily conquer it all!" I spoke the droid, though I may have been a bit 'too' harsh on my commands.

with the beeps of confirmation from the droid, I walked to the small room with a mirror and a special suit of my design. When I looked to the mirror, perhaps the last time I might ever see it, a strong jaw line with a small beard of pure black hair. My eyes pure of yellow with a red outline around my iris's , my form mostly muscle yet lean and well built.

I took off my cloak and, with some hesitation, removed my Sabre hilt and carefully stored it to my secret compartment. Slowly I put on the special black suit, though slightly tight it is the only thing that might guarantee my survival. Slowly I prepared my final meal, why was I taking my time? because I might never get to wake up again, fearing also my Droid may die out before the Republic even disappears in some future.

As time went on I was finally ready, Read the last current events across the galaxy, checked on my personal shuttle and checked the power systems. Praying to whatever maker and god and even the Force to see that not only do I survive but to see that my ship may survive intact before time ruins it. The base is secured, with enough power to last a few hundred years if need be...I pray that's not the case.

" Now P2...Prepare the Carbonite and make final scans within the star system for any starships, imperial or Republic" I ordered the Droid to the task. Within a few short minutes there was no worry left for me to be concerned about, no fear left for me to tackle but one. Being put to sleep for hopefully a hundred years...or a bit more.

as I stood on the platform where the Carbonite process will take place, I looked back to my personal experiences, from barely surviving duels against both jedi and Sith to escaping the clutches of death itself. yet...I hardly accomplished anything worthy of history to record it for all to know in the future.  Perhaps when I wake up once more I shall conquer the galaxy and build my own empire, yes...an empire worthy of my legacy.

Now that P2 is in position I gave the signal to activate the blasted device. Before I could say another word, P2 pressed the button that he could reach, by my design, beginning the process of Carbon Freezing. All I felt was the immediate cold, barely flinched in fact before I lost feeling in my body. All that was left is my mind to just...dream.

P2 watched as the process was done in a matter of seconds, till a massive crane lifted the Carbonite out of the hole. Setting his master down upright for all to see in his glorious majesty, of course it will be sometime before he shall walk the galaxy once again. After minutes of careful inspection he moved to his charging station, carefully deactivating  non essential sources of power with only himself and other essential systems remaining online.

Slowly time went by like the stars rotating in the cosmos. P2 kept watch as the galaxy changed, for better of worse, till the fateful day...the dark and fateful day. Darth Bane had begun a purge of his own order, killing off hundreds of Sith warriors at a time. P2 seen it all through a careful network of spyware his master managed to install before Carbon Freezing.

The ancient Sith Empire has finally ended...with only two Sith to purposefully survive to continue it's terrible legacy. P2 surmised this is the dumbest plan in the known universe, with how secretive Sith are, there was a high chance that most knowledge of the Sith will be lost by the time their plan for revenge will even happen. Of course he made sure that as much knowledge was saved, along with securing a Sith Holocron in his masters vault.

P2 witnessed the growth of the Republic and it's slow demilitarization of it's armies and fleets, too good of an opportunity to attack. yet they still have the Jedi in large numbers, so he decided to keep his master asleep...a little longer. But P2 knows that no matter how long it will take for the Republic to grow weak and pathetic, he won't survive with his parts now starting to breakdown without maintenance.

To prepare for the eventual shut down of his systems, he decided to program the system to wake up his master in the event of his power core near shut down. course that never happened, somehow P2 carried with his task, constructed artificial arms to help maintain the secret base. Slowly the base was ruled with dust and echoes with an occasional sound from P2, who has watched the galaxy change before his circuits.

From time to time he would make...unique modifications from making secret orders for parts on offsite locations. slowly improved his power core, his arms and even memory banks. Yet centuries turned away and the galaxy slowly grew weaker as the Trade Federation slowly grew in power.  yet the Republic becomes even weaker, P2 made recordings for his master on the day he wakes up.

It is only a matter of time till his master will be awake, but he will need resources...resources needed to build a mighty empire in his masters image. But thanks to recording all of history with the now ancient spyware somehow still in operation, it will help his master learn their mistakes.

yes...his empire will be more glorious then any Sith empire before his! more powerful then the Republics pathetic powerbase. Soon his master will be awaken...soon.

Chapter 2: The awakening

Chapter Text

Dreams are a fickle thing in the universe, I never knew how long I have dreamed for. I dreamed of my enemies dying by the thousands, with my skilful use of my Lightsabre, by the maker it felt great. Yet I have also dreamed of what ifs, like feeling loved or loving someone, what it would mean if I was a Jedi, who the hell knows.

Yet the more I dream, the more it feels like a new reality that I have created, making me believe that this is all real. I couldn't eat or feel warmth, I felt nothing for who knows how long I have been frozen. A sense of time has lost all meaning, All that is left is to only dream.

My favourite dream would no doubt be me becoming Emperor of the galaxy, with the Republic lying in ruins and the Jedi scattered and the Sith at my beck and call. Ahh I could taste the power in my fingertips, sometimes I believed it to be my destiny. Of course I may never be an Emperor, not with the Sith always as they are, Greedy, power hungry and too passion filled with bloodlust for war.

Sometimes I would even dream of...her, my first unrequited love. Of course she was of a rival house but her beauty knew no bounds, her skills within the force and her Swordsmanship were on par with most masters of the age. But when our last war was called upon, she died from the hands of our own, out of jealousy if you could believe that. Of course I indirectly avenged her because the fool led us all to a fools errand and cost us the battle dearly.

my memories became sharper as I kept dreaming, each memory more in detail then the last. Then I remembered one event that really stood out for me, the day Darth Bane...changed our destiny forever. I heard whispers of a mad plan for revenge against the jedi and their constant victories against us for so long.

Out of concern and near fear for my life, I decided to hide to survive from whatever Madness Darth Bane was plotting, what it was I never knew. I had dreams of what it could've been his plan, was it the development of some new superweapon? or was it a plague to wipe out the weaker Force wielders. Either way I hope I don't wake up to see his ugly face ever again, then I felt it.

Some dream more intense then all the dreams combined, no it wasn't a dream...a vision! I had a Vision of an old man, a Sith lord no doubt but none I recognise, but beside him...I sensed such cold fury, he breathed with such sound it gave me chills. The next sequence saw a world destroyed with but a single blast from what looked like a moon. the next thing I knew was death...so much death from across the galaxy it was near unfathomable.

The vision took on many images from what looked like different times, from a planet sized weapon that can destroy multiple worlds at once to the jedi being nearly extinct. so much death in such little time, the waste of so many worlds it was near impossible, such pure madness. Was this the plan of Darth Bane? destroy world within decades or centuries? what will be left for us to rule?

Before I could even comprehend my vision, I felt a sting. A sting grew to a sudden warmth from across my body, feeling slowly returned to my body. My fingers began to move, then my arms and slowly, before I could see it happen I fell on to the floor.

My body was laid across the floor, I was breathing so fast I thought I could die from oxygen. I shivered and could barely see anything, I tried to use the force to act as my eyes. this is bad, I never thought about its long term side effects from the Carbon freezing.

" Who are you!" I cried out, perhaps afraid since I awoke into an unknown future. I tried to feel the floor and the force but I was so disoriented it was difficult to comprehend what happened. Then I heard a whistle, a familiar whistle from a certain droid. " P2?" I dared asked not certain if I could be wrong but the Astromech droid replied what sounded like joy.

my sight was barely improved when I saw what looked like his outline but...something was different. " P2...how long was I asleep?" I asked, fearing the answer I braced myself and waited. The droid hesitated which he has never done before, till he beeped the answer...horror filled my veins.

"...a thousand years?...why so long?" I barely the question when another droid spoke out, one I'm unfamiliar with " because according to the records, Darth Bane had wiped out all but himself and his apprentice of the ancient Sith order" I was on alert when the droid started talking till P2 assured me that the droid in question was on our side, strange as it sounded I trust P2's judgement.

" What is your designation since I'm temporarily...blind" I asked in some form of tired annoyance. the Droid replied " I am unit B1-2241 or just Beni for short" I found it odd that this...Beni had a name, just how much have changed in a thousand years? no...did Beni say Darth Bane killed ALL but himself and his apprentice of our Order? " Are you sure that only Darth Bane and his apprentice survived? what happened to the order!"

Beni explained to me in great detail of what happened afterwards, from P2's best efforts of tracking him down through the safety of his network to the day he was killed by his apprentice who later took on their own apprentice. Till some five centuries ago P2 lost all traces of the Sith Order but there is a chance that they survived to this day judging by the unique events that occurred over the centuries.

When the droid finished his retelling of the events I simply said "...so I am the last true Sith lord of my time...but this rule of two...It can't be sustained like this, I should know for I don't know all my masters secrets." P2 agreed with my reasoning, I curse myself sometimes from not learning all my masters secrets, no doubt this rule of two will weaken the Sith by a large margin, even within a century that all crucial knowledge will be lost.

In the end...I was awake in a new time but it felt more tiresome since learning the fate of my ancient Order. But the unnerving feeling that the Sith survived through this Rule of two is clearly ludicrous, no doubt the Jedi have grown in such numbers its terrible. My plans to rule the galaxy may take longer then I anticipated to take into affect.

But then the visions...who else knows about this future I have foreseen, Who is trying to prevent it? Who is this powerful black armoured Sith lord in my vision? I fear I may have to see my rivals as someone who must not be underestimated. then a clue came to me, there were only two Sith lords in my vision...which could mean one thing...they had their revenge by wiping out the Jedi...but at what cost?

Chapter 3: the first steps

Chapter Text

Days flew by without even realizing it, my sight returned eventually but it took longer for my legs to work. while I was recovering I learned what happened over the last thousand years, from the rise of the Republics so called ' golden age' to the current events. Which seems to me that the galaxy will be nothing but a warzone in a few years or perhaps even sooner then later.

I learned that the so called ' battle for Naboo' took place some months before I awoke from Carbonite. Clearly the division between the outer rim and the Core is growing thanks to the incompetency of its leadership and the growing corruption from within. the Jedi are no better, despite their numbers, they have become more interconnected with the Senate, even their dogma has become more intolerable for most.

Beni turned out to be a former droid commander from Naboo, somehow mostly intact but thanks to P2's influence, he is better and more improved. but the worrying part is how the hell is the Sith this weak? didn't they consider that it hinders their influence if the apprentice or master died prematurely. No doubt the Sith lord is seeking out a new apprentice, the fool will no doubt be old and weak to train a new apprentice from scratch.

Finally after weeks of slow recovery I have now the strength to use the force and my own body strength. of course I activated my ancient Lightsabre, it's dark red hue more intimidating then I remember building it. I donned on my usual attire and tossed out my old suit...then again I privately ordered P2 to keep it and repair it just in case.

"Now that I have fully recovered...and learned what I could from the most crucial events, we must now plan for my conquest of this pathetic galaxy!" I said , invigorated from a near month of recovering from carbonite. Of course my droids don't look convinced, P2 especially since he has been the silent observer of the galaxy. P2 beeped about how so much has changed, even the technology has changed albeit in a limited since.

" yes I am fully aware of that fact P2, but that won't stop me from conquering the Galaxy!" I said with a bit of anger. Then I remembered, how the Sith had remained in hiding for so long, using the Force as a camouflage I quickly hidden myself from the eyes of my enemies. " Sorry to disturb you master but your friend is correct, I have spent the last few hours checking what resources we have and chances of us winning a war is absolute 0% chance"

Tempted to destroy the droid but he was right, even if I could reprogram battle droids it would take too long and what's worse...I'm broke. My wealth would no doubt be worthless to the eyes of the galaxy, even if I was wealthy there wouldn't be enough mercenaries and pirates to help me conquer the galaxy.

I tried to think of my next plan...till the visions begin to enter my worries. If this Sith lord managed to take over the galaxy, how did he do it? and if he did succeed why would he build a Weapon the size of a planet or even make weapons that could destroy the entire galaxy. Whatever the case, it won't be easy for me to even build a small army or fleet to secure even one sector.

Then it hit me, instead of attacking in months...I shall play the waiting game, I've waited for a thousand years to survive Darth Banes genocidal plan, I could wait a little longer to wait for the right opportunity to strike. So I looked to a new approach...preparing for war for the near future.

" P2 what is the status of my ship?" I asked with a happy beep reply, confirming my hopes. " Beni gather everything we have here but leave the vaults, the contents stay here. P2 check my ship to see if it still has power and see to it its safe for take off" With my orders sent, my only companions went straight to work while I made more plans to see to my rise to power.

It took a few hours but it was doable, My ship looked a bit rusty but it can still fly regardless. By the time all the necessary supplies were on board we were away, with the secret base on my star maps we shall return if needed. yet the galaxy itself hardly changed, the Republic has degraded to the point it is easily manipulated.

Of course taking over its senate is a dangerous gamble and its time consuming so that's out of the question. " Excuse me master but where are we going?" Asked Beni as we travel away from the Desolate planet. " we're going to the only system that will have the necessary resources to prepare for my return...if they will help me is another matter entirely" I replied.

The problem with finding a secure system to build up a ' small' force to attack the galaxy is not so easy. But I'll find a suitable system...eventually, one small step at a time. Because eventually I will have a force worthy to be called Emperor of the Galaxy.

Chapter 4: humble beginnings

Chapter Text

A week has passed since I have left my ancient Sanctuary and so far it is difficult, despite the little change in the hyperlane network, the galactic Republic has grown since my departure. Yet my ship is barely safe for me since it hasn't flown in over a millennium, making going to hyperspace very risky. using the updated star charts, I may have found the most Isolated star system in the outer rim, but with risk.

on one hand it is part of the Republic and may turn against me, on the other it is under the protection of the Hutts. Whatever the case is, it's isolated just enough for me to start building up my empire, only problem is money and vast amounts of resources. another big hindrance is manpower, I have some inkling that one side may favour more on battle droids then the other.

" Master scans are complete but there is no sign of any advance hardware on the planet such as starships or any heavy industries" Beni said who I'm starting to appreciate, aside from P2 of course. after some time thinking I have decided to ' secure ' the planet that is thankfully not too far from Hutt space or the old Mandalorian territories. The planet itself is mostly forested and mountainous with small pockets of civilisation.

As my ship descends upon the planet, the surface becomes clearer to see, forests in abundance, small settlements marked below the trees. it wasn't long till we found a suitable location not only land my craft, but a suitable site to build my new home. I can only imagine what my new home would look like once I begin building my empire from the ground up...if I was rich of course.

As I disembarked from my aging ship I noted a small village on the coast as I flew in. A thought came to me, what if I made myself a leader here first before announcing the fact I will be the galaxy's first Emperor. Without giving away the fact I am a Sith lord will be another issue, but it's a hurdle I can overcome eventually.

" Beni, stay with the ship and wait for my comm, if you see large amounts of smoke...Ready the ship when it comes to that" I ordered with no debate. As I walked to the village. it looked a lot smaller from above but it is actually nearly three times bigger then I anticipated. But Something was amiss, it is mostly quiet but the people were hiding from me.

I sensed fear of great proportions, clearly they didn't call for the Republic so something is wrong." P2 scan for any signals being broadcasted from this world" I ordered with a confirming beep. As I walked through the Village, noting some days if not weeks old damage here, from blaster fire no less.

Then P2 beeped that no signal is being Broadcasted, making me feel nervous. So I walked to what looked like a small Bar near the docks, the view of the water is breath-taking and that's saying something, clear blue and creatures of the water I have no names for. When I entered the bar it was clear I stand out the most, with only the Barkeep and a few scared patrons in my presence.

" Do not fear me...I am but a humble traveller from a distant star system" I spoke till I realised it has been way too long since I spoke with another being that is organic. " We don't want any trouble good sir...we're just humble fishermen" said the Barkeeper. I observed the damage along my route and clearly see some form of trouble, So I dared ask " Who is in charge of this fine village?"

Silence filled the room, till one of the Patrons spoke " He's dead...along with a dozen over village heads across the coast" I feigned a surprise gasp, since death has little impact on me I had to look...Empathetic. So I asked more out of worry then anything else " Who would do such terrible acts?" The Barkeep replied " Damn Pirates did it that's what, came here about a year ago and the Republic can't do squat!"

Clearly the anger was a big moniker towards the Republic, but the fact the Republic has become this incompetent is mind boggling. Don't they know that this is how any rebellion would begin if left unattended? Either way this makes my plan much more smoother to complete my grand scheme.

"Well when do these pirates return?" I asked the nearest Patron, though it's pretty much an open question. " They come here once the other villages pay up in either rare fish, Credits or whatever they want" Said the Barkeep. I then looked to him and asked, with a little hope of course " What if we stop them for good?"

A large starship appeared off the coast of the village, slowly making it's landing to its usual site. Barely landing onto the surface the pirates began leaving the ship from the old Gazonti class ship, heading straight to the Village. The Pirates numbered in the dozens, over compensating for their confidence in numbers.

But when a stranger stands in front of the entrance to the settlement, one of the Pirates spoke " Oy! what the blazes you doing standing there for?" The cloaked figure said nothing but standing there with a strange look in his eyes. his eyes filled with yellow and red, his face half covered in what looks like a scarf.

then he took out a weapon few Pirates could only imagine to avoid...a Lightsabre. " He's a freaking Jedi! kill him!" Cried out one of the Pirates. Blasters were drawn, but the Stranger was...calm but they all felt the fury from his cold gaze.

he said with a voice void of all emotion but a cold fury " I am no Jedi...I am stronger then the entire order of Jedi!" Before they all knew it his blade was ignited into a pure dark red and he charged with no hesitation. Blasters began firing before the first pirates were cut down before even firing off their own weapons.

lasers were deflected back at the senders, the dead become riddled across the dirt ground. some pirates even began to run back to the ship but it was a trap, blaster fire was then fired from the treeline. dozens fired upon the fleeing pirates who never made it halfway to the Gazonti.

the dead kept piling up as the Stranger with the red blade continued to make his slaughter his way to the Gazonti. some pirates simply surrendered out of fear for their lives. in the end, the entire crew was mostly killed off by either blaster round or cut down by the stranger.

the ship was soon taken by him and a small group of volunteers with great success, as for the surviving pirates, only half a dozen live. the stranger then rounded them up, with his weapon still ignited he smiled , out of sadism or joy who can say. Then he said " you six will be punished...but not today,  today I feel generous for I feel merciful"

By the end of the day, all the affected Villages heard what happened to the Pirates and soon joined the village in celebration. However, the one question on everyone's mind will soon appear, Who is the saviour to save their world from the cruel pirates?

The answer will soon be answered after the celebrations, an answer that will bring out a mix of awe and fear. the Stranger simply said "Twilight is his name" and like that the villagers hailed his name. Of course they promised to not speak of his name in fear someone will have his head for killing all but the few pirates.

I never thought of having a new name in this time, Twilight seems more fitting for I have seen the old Sith empire's end. Darth Twilight sounds better then my old name, Darth Morbikus , given to me by my old master. of course it will be for the best in case some wise old Jedi figures out an Ancient Sith Lord survived for a thousand years to have his revenge.

Twilight will be a name I have to quickly get used to, otherwise my supposed rivals will quickly recognise me before I could even raise an army. Speaking of raising an army, I now have the loyalty of the small villages, I can finally earn some form of income. On top of that, it is the best feeling to be in command again and showing off my skills after a thousand years of sleep.

Still, I may have to start small but I need an army as soon as possible, but with a Gazonti it's not a bad start. Credits may be the only thing I need to survive in this galaxy, but I will succeed. In the end, I decided then and there that no one will stop me from achieving the impossible.

Then Beni walked up to me and said " Master won't these people realise your a Sith and not a Jedi?" Come to think of it, I never truly told them if I was either a Jedi or Sith. so I carefully asked  around, to see how they react. All with the same answer...they don't care so long as I help.

To show some gratitude the next few days I used the force to help rebuild the villages, gaining even more loyalty. Slowly I begun recruiting the most trustworthy individuals and those with a good shot with the blaster. my plan is slowly coming to fruition...someday I will build my empire beyond this star system...someday.

Chapter 5: The Foundations

Chapter Text

Hardly a year flew by before I knew it, a year since I came upon this world so out of reach yet so isolated. I decided to name this world Mordorna, in honour of my mother if you could believe that. Of course I kept my promise to the locals that I can protect them from pirates and slavers, on the condition that I take the reigns of leadership.

another obstacle now is to build my empire from scratch, not in a way of the old empires of the Sith that is. Upon studying my ancient predecessors, along with a thousand years of peace for the Republic's long history , I realized that no empire can be corrupt free or even perfectly stable without precautions. thus I decided to make the biggest changes, from how war will be conducted to how the economy will be run...with tight supervision.

in order to do all of this I needed industry...and a powerful army to project my power for all to see. After months of understanding Mordorna's resources and the population, I decided to build my empire from the single coastline to improve not only trade in the secret trade routes but my army at the same time. thousands of isolated citizens were relocated to the coast that is within range of my protection, making industry thrive.

Within a few short months, fishing boomed, minor industries were finally taking flight under my guidance. in my past I devoted my time in studying the force to achieve ultimate power, of course now at this point I have to think in a different manner. From talking to the locals to better understand them to helping them build new homes and stores with the power of the force.

as for the pirates, they either die or be serving their sentences through labour for the empire. Thanks to their ' generous' donation of their starship it makes things easier for me to make trade with the most isolated parts of this world and beyond. But now that I have gathered enough resources I have decided to build my army, but with some tweaks to better adapt to this time.

I slowly began recruiting a small group of willing volunteers to become my first generation of soldiers. I counted at least three dozen men and women, this will do nicely I thought to myself. " Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for volunteering to be part of something grander then you could ever imagine. A birth of a empire from the ashes of this Republic, that which has abandoned you and your families to the jaws of piracy" I spoke, noting their mixed reactions.

All of their eyes spoke one word...Anger towards the common enemy, the Republic. " It will take some time, but I believe the empire will thrive under my guidance, not only will it succeed but it will bring the Republic to their knees" I said when some of my recruits started to look eager for war. " with your help I shall make an Oath to not only help the common people but also to bring true prosperity to ALL the worlds across the galaxy!" This brought forth a roar of approval from such small numbers and some more from nearby observers.

From that day forward I began training my troopers with elegance and strength, slowly picking out those with traits with leadership to lead not only squads but also platoons. Gradually more recruits came to me with whatever they bring to help my army from weapons to food. My army slowly grew but also my first crews for the Imperial navy that I have slowly envisioned.

Months turned before I knew it, making secret weapon orders in high demand with whatever I have to trade with. Their armour was made with unique properties to help prevent fatal wounds, most of the time of course. Thanks to this small improvement, morale grew as they kept training with my method being very easy to understand.

At some point My plans to build a Navy will be difficult without a shipyard of some kind, with Kuat and Corellia too far to even order a fleet. All major shipyards are too spread out and watched by both Jedi and Republic officials alike. So I have no choice but to build my own Shipyards from scratch.

A year passed since I started building my army, slow but necessary to prevent the enemy to learn of my presence. The Shipyards, after months of building in modules, was finally completed. My first ship to be built will need to be started small to be the template for my young Navy.

It took a few weeks, but I finally gathered the necessary materials to build my formidable starship. Simple yet top quality for combat, fast to build when needed but taken time it could be the best ship in the Imperial Navy. The ship in question will be my standard frigate, approximately five hundred metres long, with a dozen dual turboblasters and half a dozen torpedo launch points.

of course having one shipyard will not do, so I commissioned for dozens more built to help build a very formidable fleet. Who knew that in a few years I could accomplish building my own army and fleet in short mount of time. Of course it is not without risk or negligence, I sensed the force has been clouded for the future to not be seen.

I knew that someone had their hands on it, clouding the future, no doubt a ' Sith Lord' has his or her own plans in motion. So I kept up with my training with the force, but I didn't neglect on my duties to maintain the fragile state of the empire. from making contact with isolated worlds in the galactic North-East, near bordering the Hutts in their North, to making more orders for the weapons and materials for war.

of course the capital of my empire grew as well, with my fortress being built not far from the Village I saved years ago. I frequently walked there to assure the people that I am not going anywhere. Unlike the Jedi who, from what I learned, have begun to neglect on their duties of bringing ' Justice' on worlds who have been suffering.

The Jedi I knew are unlike the Jedi of the present, full of hubris and dogma. Justice is  no longer their main charge, ignorant and blind to the truths of the people who need help. The more I learned the more I despise the very nature of the Republic and the Jedi.

" P2 give me the latest reports regarding this separatist movement, I need to know who they are" I asked P2 who is happy to oblige. When he gave me the report, what I learned is clear, the Republic is falling apart, internally they are at a crossroads for peace. I smirked, having a guess what the ' Sith' are planning, but how can they accomplish their goals on regards for the ancient grudge of the Jedi.

How can the Sith defeat so many Jedi with only two of them? who knows but the Division of the Galaxy is too good an opportunity to take when the war begins. " My lord, the delegation is here to see you as requested" Beni said near the doorway of my home of wood and stone, a gift from the locals. Yes, slowly my empire will rise with a strong foundation to rival the past all together.

" Inform them I shall see them in due time, I need to be ready for the meeting" I ordered Beni who complied. I have confidence that my plan will succeed, slowly my army is becoming stronger, carefully deployed to worlds whose loyalty is assured. when the time comes my empire will take over the loyal sectors to form the proper borders against whoever I am at war with.

It's a bold strategy but I have faith in my newest officers who have been carefully promoted to lead the charge. yet my visions have been infrequent, the future still uncertain but dark and filled with death. I have to ensure that such a future will never happen, why you may ask? because what the absolute hell is the point of ruling the galaxy if everyone is dead and without a world to call home.

I never liked the idea of weapons of mass destruction, often seen it as a last resort, but it will be pointless otherwise. I will never be like my comrades of old, my ancient emperors will probably haunt me but to hell with them. My empire will overshadow the old ways that has lead them to absolute ruin...mine will succeed with its foundations I have laid to bare.

Chapter 6: of Jedi and whispers

Chapter Text

The more I learn about the 'modern' Jedi the more I really despise their dogmatic view of the status quo. hardly three years since my plan to build my own empire had begun and already I grew to despise the future I have woken up to. not only is the galaxy crippled with corruption but the Jedi are absolutely useless in giving justice to worlds that desperately need it.

Of course I watched how the Jedi give justice and keeping the peace, a peace that never existed in the first place. even now the worlds that felt it was abandoned have begun to turn to itself for independence. Only whispers of course but even now a rumour has grown from one man...count Dooku.

I only heard of this count shortly after I have awaken, a former Jedi turned ' Sith Lord' sprouting ideas of true freedom and free from a failed democracy of the Republic. However the Jedi are useless in stopping the man, as for me? I allowed this weak old man continue with his plans. As for my plans, my first proper warship was finished and fully crewed, patrolling the area of space that is under my control.

Slowly small outlying worlds on the very edges of civilization have turned to my protection. After a few successful counters against pirates and bold slavers, whispers of safe havens has encouraged migration from the outer Rim. At first a few hundred a month, till recently almost a thousand have migrated to the newly industrialised world not far from my capitol of the Empire.

My Industries have finally taken to full swing, slowly making stockpiles of medicine, ammunition and fuel for the war that will no doubt take years to end and win. My army on the other hand have begun to be deployed to worlds under my banner, a Red background with a yellow star in the middle along with the black stripe. Two colours from my old empire and the yellow star of my own choice.

Now thousands of my trained soldiers have begun to keep the peace in only a dozen worlds so far, no doubt I would need perhaps millions per sector to maintain order. My fleet is an entirely different matter all on its own, not only do I need to build more ships but the demand for manpower will grow with it. My thoughts were then broken from Beni's intrusion into my new home that is barely finished.

" Master, it would seem we have a new ship full of immigrants, scans indicate nearly a two thousand from three different species sir" Beni said. As I was going to glare at the droid when he mentioned two thousand people, clearly the word of such migrations will be more difficult to hide. Then again this is a big galaxy, surely no one will notice...right?

" have you found new homes for our new citizens?" I asked the droid. Beni looked nervous when he replied " We have just enough room on this planet for suitable accommodation but we will need more homes within the next solar cycle" I looked annoyed but I understood the need to keep my people happy, so I typed the new orders for the growing engineering corps for more housing, this time for three hundred thousand for good measure.

After handing the order to Beni and dismissing him, I looked around in my office, barely two years it took to build, with a large wall to help keep the enemy out with space for my Anti-Air defences. with small buildings for worker sleeping quarters and storage space for supplies and vehicles. As for my personal office it was large enough to have nearly two dozen people present, with a mahogany desk with some technology to help me.

After writing down what else I need for my empire I then left my office and went for a walk. Course I wasn't alone, I personally trained four praetorians for a few years with the skills to kill anyone...even Jedi. I mused with the splendour of my home, though some parts are being expanded into the mountains for extra safety.

I walked throughout it's halls and reached one of my few gardens I have taken to a liking on this world. Unlike most Sith in my time who only pursued power, I have taking a unique hobby, Gardening. I looked to the flowers of this world and some from different worlds, few from my homeworld. I honestly appreciated my hobby which I took up nearly a year ago, course I had some help, but the results speak for themselves.

All the reds and blues, the purples and greens and so much colour for this grey Fortress. Then my eye looked to the most peculiar specimen, a flower I have not taken on my stock. a white flower with a blue outline along its Petals, a green stem with small thorns.

I don't know its world's origin but I did appreciate it's beauty, I wondered who planted it. curious I used the force to grab a nearby tablet dedicated to the gardens well being. After a quick search I found what I was  looking for, it was from a new gardener barely a new hire and already made a plant make itself home.

" Sire would you like us to apprehend her?" one of my guards asked. I looked more into her file and seen her picture, a Twilek from Ryloth of fair blue skin. However upon closer inspection I noticed something no one would notice...Collar marks on her neck, a sign of a slave.

I had a strange mix of feelings from noting her being a former slave, I have seen many slaves in my old life so why was this any different? Who knows...but my guards looked anxious and eager to carry out my every order. So I replied " No need...give her a bonus for her hard work, make sure it's fifty thousand credits as a bonus" with no hesitation they send the order to the administrator in judge of finances.

I carry on with my walks, but then my personal datapad lit up with new reports from my Intelligence division. New rumours of Separatism have grown rapidly from across the Mid Rim to the Outer Rim. This may work to my favour...perhaps too well, no doubt the Jedi will assist the Republic to keep the galaxy together.

Yet I doubt the peace will last, no doubt the Separatists will gain their Freedom one way or the other. The Jedi will have no army strong enough to fight the Separatists, but then a nervous feeling started to grow. how can the Republic fight without an Army? let alone a fleet to fight.

As I read more of the reports, the more I noticed unusual movement of ships, small at first but as recent as a month ago, Large ships have begun to move. The Trade Federation no doubt profiting off of the arms race and movement of supplies. perhaps this war will be more chaotic then I have anticipated.

Chapter 7: The birth of the Inquisition

Chapter Text

World after world have joined me peacefully, assimilating their industries and resources for the empire. My shipyards have grown as well, now capable of producing a dozen ships within a year but I needed more. barley three years since I have begun to take on new worlds aside from my capitol, yet I have made it work.

I have slowly developed the skills to learn how the empire must function, from understanding the trade networks thanks to the smugglers to understanding each policy from the Republic is ludicrous. I have slowly put in policies that benefit the people and the Empire, far more superior then the Republic's archaic laws. so far it was a success, especially with my military industry slowly growing to it's full potential.

However, with growth comes a new problem...internal security. so today I have decided to form the Inquisition to help combat any dissent, the problem is that traditionally the Inquisition need force wielders or the Sith to help maintain order. But since I'm the only Sith here, I can't do two jobs at once, so I did the old fashion way...looking for Force wielders.

of course even if I did find them it will take years to train them, before the war even which makes it even harder. So I went to the alternative, non force wielders, with some skills of the Sith they may be effective, despite the obvious downsides. So I went straight to work to find the perfect candidates for the job, which wasn't easy.

I did think about hiring bounty hunters but secrecy is absolute for the time being. It took a few hours to look through every viable file I could get my hands on, which wasn't easy. While looking through the files, someone unexpected came to my office, the Twilek of fair blue skin.

" Excuse me my lord but it's nearly dark now, you need rest" She said. I looked to the local time and she was right, it was late and I failed to look even above average skill set needed for the inquisition." Ah yes thank you Eleena, how is  the garden today?" I said with a look of appreciation.

Eleena slowly looked to my eyes, which so far none of the workers have done due to the not so secret identity of my being. Eleena replied with a hint of shyness " The Garden is looking healthy today, though it has changed slightly due to new flowers cross pollinating"  I heard about the phenomena, though I never thought it was even possible between two entirely different types of flora.

over the last year I have appreciated her skills as a gardener, her scars of slavery are rarely seen but never brought it up. Ever since her bonus she looked to me with kindness, if only she knew my past but knowing I was Sith was enough for everyone present. Course she knew of the history, thus the shyness and her near fear of my presence.

As I was about to walk away from my desk I noted Eleena was still present in my office, habits I surmised. " Eleena you may leave whenever you may see fit" I said catching her attention, clearly she looked at my hologram of files. can she read words backwards? I don't know, so I gave her a simple question.

"   Who do you think will make a good Inquisitor?" I asked which caught her off guard. Eleena was quiet for a moment and slowly answered with a small hint of fear. " I apologise for reading without your permission, forgive me" I now felt awkward as she begins to shake in fear, fearing for her life and what punishment will be her undoing.

I calmly replied " relax it was a simple question, no ones in trouble" Eleena looked calmed, but still afraid when she answered my question " Jax and krill look ok to be your Inquisitors, I think Shera will work very well when I heard she used to spy for a pirate lord once" Her answer gave me more information then I realized, after a few minutes she gave me nearly a dozen names, some of whom are not even on file yet.

I smiled to her and said " Thank you for your help Eleena, as a thanks for your help you may ask for anything and I will do everything in my power to grant it" Eleena looked shocked, given a favour from a Sith lord is not something to easily comprehend. She then nodded in appreciation and said she will think on it, I understood her reasoning so in the end we both left the office.

Perhaps she has more use then I thought, her knowledge of plants are impressive but her sense of character with other people is extraordinary. I even thought to make her chief of security to root out dissent so easily, but she suffered enough from seeing people broken and harmed both in mind and body. Her golden eyes then lighten up a bit as she looked to me with her wish.

" My lord! I wish to see my family here in this fortress, where it's safe!" She said. I was a little surprised of her quick decision so I nodded with a knowing smile. Thus ends todays unique experience.

the following day the Inquisition was formalised with the first dozen agents, some more skilled then I realized on paper. then a few days later Eleena's family, or what's left of them, arrived at the fortress from the fastest route from Ryloth. Her eyes lit up with joy, clearly her mother and little siblings were equally happy.

this brought me more feelings then I know what to do with, happiness and jealousy? who knows. either way, I'm...happy for her, her wish was granted and I carried on with my life. not knowing that my feelings for the Twi'lek would be more intense then I realize in the far future.

Chapter 8: the first battleship

Chapter Text

years of preparing to expand my navy has finally bared fruit, finally I had the resources to build our first battleship. With specific size in mind, nearly three kilometres long, nearly seven hundred meters at highest point by nearly one kilometre at widest point as well. with hangar space to field nearly two wings of strike craft, room to mobilize nearly a full legion of soldiers and weapons platforms across the bow of the ship.

It was my hope to build the ship to show the galaxy we are powerful against the Republic. the problem is time, for my best efforts I can only build the ship within two years with the resources I have. That and I need  more men to man the ships, so I decided to expand the manpower pool to not only include humans but also other humanoids and other gender groups not primarily of one dominant group.

of course the ship took its time to build, as for my empire it was thriving with so many people happy which somewhat irks me. aside from it's growing prosperity, more worlds have secretly joined under my banner, flying the flag of my empire while also flying their local flags as well. Gradually my industry has grown to the point it can support both the military and the civilian needs.

sure some  people have problems with my methods, especially the new arrivals have some qualms, but they understand. Eleena even privately told me that some people have begun to complain about the growing war machine. I listened to her and addressed the following day that the military is necessary to put down any pirate group or slaver caravan that comes through our space, with positive reviews afterwards.

speaking of my military, it has grown immensely with new ships coming online with the shipyards being established across my Empire. the ground army have expanded quite quickly with a few factories being diverted for heavy machines of war. the Walkers were a coming concept over the millennia, so I changed tactic for mobile warfare, speed is necessary but also heavy firepower.

I had to build a proper academy to help form the elite branch of my army, the Sith trooper Corps. with them came the training of the best pilots I could muster, with the best strike craft I could build with whatever resources I have on hand. I was growing pride within my own Army, but also felt sad to know that many such talented soldiers will die by the million for Galactic conquest.

Nowadays I often think to myself, why conquer more territory when I have developed such a thriving economy in such small amount of time. Sometimes I was tempted to abandon those plans of galactic supremacy when I remembered the visions. So I made more plans and contingencies in the event such terrible events would ever happen, at least I prepared for such a future.

then one night, I had a terrible vision, of a desert world where two armies clashed for the very first time in over a Millennium. armies of droids against armies of men of white armour, ships clashed across the stars. The Jedi leading the way but also dying by the dozen against the enemies of within and throughout the galaxy.

Soon the vision returned to my first vision, only it shown me more detail of who the future rulers of death are. one of pale skin with signs of age and scars in a robe of pure darkness, his companion next to him of great height and presence. Fear soon washed over me as the future became more chaotic, more death and destruction of dozens, no hundreds of worlds in a span of years to decades.

I soon awoke to the voice of Eleena who daringly entered my private quarters, I was half dressed but I can clearly see her blushed cheeks. " Good morning Eleena" I said in greeting with a small smirk across my lips. to think its been a few years and she and I have grown quite close in friendship, sometimes I thought of her more often then I realise.

" Forgive me my lord but there was an urgent report that requires your attention" Eleena said while still looking blushed from seeing my well toned  abs and other...fine features. I quickly got dressed and moved to my private desk to read the report, only to know what it was about. My first battleship will be complete a lot earlier then anticipated, saving a few months off of building thanks to the modular building technique.

however as I continued to read the reports, a small note was hidden for my eyes only. it says ' spies at work within the Republic, warships slowly being built with no cause' this is concerning, knowing that the Republic is already building ships of varying class is a surprise, no doubt being slow but it will grow out of proportion.

it was just the Republic either, small shipyards in the expansion region have also begun retrofitting old merchant ships to standard combat vessels. war is not far off, which explains the more recent vivid visions I have received. I then quickly wrote my orders to not only finish building the first battleship but also to commission a dozen more like it when available.

" Eleena, please inform my generals to begin forming new Corps and expect them to be fully trained within the next few years. Same with the admiral, make that a few admirals, I'll send you the names of those getting promoted now" After giving Eleena my extensive list of names, she left with a worried look. So I quickly said " It will be ok Eleena, nothing bad will happen"

She knew it to be false, I sensed her feelings on my comment, but she smiled either way. Sometimes I could hug her for comfort, such thoughts would sometimes plague me for days on end. By the force I just wish she was in my life from a thousand years ago!

Aside from those thoughts, my concerns for my empire is slowly growing with the sudden yet secretive military build up throughout the galaxy. Has the Republic learned of my plans? who told the Jedi? I don't know. Whatever is happening, I need to be ready...but another plan is being made in my mind.

something I never thought about since my first crush...Asking Eleena out on a date.

Chapter 9: of love and shadows

Chapter Text

time flew by before I knew it, my first battleship was ready after only sixteen months of building. Slowly my might grew, more ships were steadily built ,each ship forming into smaller squadrons or fleets. the smallest of ships acting as long range patrol craft and pickets.

Yet I wasn't worried in the slightest, especially after the Inquisition made a thorough investigation on the matter. thankfully my droid P2 has been helping the intelligence division for a few years now, even keeping me on top of any future pirate raids on my territory. despite my growing power, I grew worried of the coming war, especially if I need to rule the empire.

As an emperor, finally acknowledged after nearly seven years of building and expanding my empire, I need a dynasty. the problem is the choice of a wife is not so simple, or so I thought. Eleena, has been on my mind for a few years now, even developing a friendship with her.

But I wanted more from her...her love, her affections for life and to make her my wife. of course I can't force her, maybe in my last life I wouldn't give a damn but after ruling the empire for over seven years now, my perception has changed. if I want Eleena to be mine I have to do it right by her terms.

So I did something I never of doing in my life...asking for permission from her mother. Ever since her arrival I gave a stable job as an Administrator of a small branch in the government, she has quite the knack for it, no doubt as a result of having three children. Her home is not far from the main building of the fortress, with a small garden near the doorway in the fortress of grey steel.

As I approached her estate I dismissed my guards and knocked on her door, When it was open, fear filled her eyes the moment she saw me. I suppose being a Sith is not so easy around my future in-laws.  So I quickly calmed her and said " Fear not, I'm only here for a talk...umm may I come in?"

the mother, Hera, calmly allowed me inside her home and I thanked her. inside was filled with homely décor from Ryloth, with comfy chairs and a few over artworks to show her homeworld. I sat down with Hera taking the main chair across from me, to be honest I was nervous, so I sensed if Eleena was here.

Thankfully she was not present So I went straight to the point " Lady Hera...I know that we don't see eye to eye, but with your permission...I would like to date your eldest daughter" Hera was taken aback, clearly wasn't expecting my question about her daughter let alone acting...strange about her daughter. "...is this a trick? If My daughter or I have insulted you in anyway please punish me not my family!"

Clearly I may have caused a  misunderstanding so I quickly explained my intentions, From having developed feelings for her to wishing to marry her in the near future. Hera slowly calmed down and finally realised my request was genuine, I understood her fears due to the unruly reputation of the Sith of the past and present. I waited for her answer, nervous of her response I avoided using any mind tricks on her to get what I want.

after some time Hera finally said " yes however...if she breaks your heart...find it in your heart to not take my daughter from me...please" Her conditions were carefully worded but I understood her fears perfectly. after being granted permission to date her daughter, Eleena arrived to see the two of us having tea and discussing matters of the current affairs.

"Mama! uhm what's going on?"  Eleena asked with a clear sign of confusion. Hera replied " the Emperor came to me for permission to ask you out on a date" This through all my plans out the window, literally in this case as Eleena stammered a what in response.

" I told him yes with conditions of course so have fun" Hera then said while walking away leaving me and Eleena alone. So I awkwardly asked her out on a date, which she nervously said yes, with a face turning from blue to pink. Thus begins our dating life by having our first date in one of my gardens for a small picnic.

months flew by before I knew it, memories becoming happy and joyful with Eleena by my side, having dinner dates and other activities. Some activities being...physical in some cases, with neither of us complaining about it. Sometimes I have tea with her and Hera to get to know them better, even enjoyed gardening and help them by using the Force on occasion.

I have been so happy in less then a year, despite my official duties, my fleet Grew along with the armies of the Empire. Eleena and I have been so close that what will happen next will challenge our live. One I knew will change the future of the galaxy forever.

Count Dooku declared for a Galactic address from Raxus. an address sating the formation of the 'Confederacy of Independent Systems'. What's worse is the CIS is close to my borders, with more ships then I knew to be many yet still grew before my eyes.

I Then called for an emergency meeting with my council of command, generals and admirals of merit were arguing what to do with the CIS. " We're in no position to go to war with the Republic and now the CIS are right on our doorstep with a fleet a dozen times over our size!" Said one admiral when another noted the untold armies of droids in the trillions or more.

I quickly calmed the council down by stating the obvious facts " Listen, just because the Confederacy was formed doesn't mean we're at war right now, We still have time" this made Eleena, now part of my inner circle speak out " But Lord Twilight, how can we be prepared now there is an arms race between the two powers?"

No one has used my name in nearly a decade, till Eleena came along in my life. but everyone else ignored her but I answered " We had a head start in terms of quality over quantity, we have superior ships and a much more disciplined army to field" This put some tension at ease for now but the fear can still be sensed.

Slowly talks about the potential war becoming real has become the main focus, with Eleena pointing out some crucial points like logistics, planetary take over and so on. In the end, after hours of discussion the council was dismissed, with new orders and plans.

Eleena, my close friend and I were the only ones present. " P2...what are chances if we go to war now?" I asked when P2 beeped back a very poor number, Eleena looked to me when I replied " no chance in winning against the CIS or the Republic, but we can wait it out to see how favourable it will be for us"

She never liked war, heart for life is too precious so I assured her that the  fighting will not go too far. P2 however noted something odd in the network, the ancient spyware noted the communication between Count Dooku and a mysterious contact on Coruscant. Something I knew through code between us, that this declaration of the CIS formation, it is all a ploy.

A great scheme is taking place that the Jedi are blind to it. the future is clouded by the Dark Side, not my doing but someone strong with the Force. Someone wanted this war, a war that will bring so much death it will haunt me till the end of days.

I never told Eleena my visions, but I knew the visions are getting stronger and more detailed. Count Dooku is not the main agitator of this war, but someone planned for this war to happen for more longer then I could imagine. someone strong with the Dark Side of the Force.

I need to prepare to the day I face my ancient rivals, training my own Sith warriors when the opportunity arises. either way, the war is fast approaching, how will the Republic or the Jedi respond to this crisis? I will learn that the future will sometimes come true through my visions...or changed for better or worse.

Chapter 10: the fear of the future

Chapter Text

Ever since the formation of the CIS barely a year ago my military has grown exponentially, a little too fast it would seem. P2 seems to agree with the assessment as more people have grown wary with my plans to be better prepared for an upcoming war that will no doubt break out at any moment. Of course I have eased the peoples worries as best I can without outright lying to their faces.

In truth I have grown wary myself since Eleena made a point about the motives of the Separatists, how they have received support from the many worlds who feel abandoned by the Republic. Truly the galaxy has changed since my carbonite days, however the galaxy is at the seams between the outer Rim and the Core. Another problem is the growing distrust between the military and the people within my Empire.

Sooner or later my empire will be exposed by either side and I will be caught unprepared by the armies the Jedi may lead. As for my fleet, we are still outnumbered by a large margin, quality aside we need more ships thus the tough decision to recruit more soldiers from the younger generation. It helped but the decision was not easy, especially since I'm the only Sith lord from a time of war and near destruction of Civilization as I knew it.

But my growing fears began to show as I spent more time with Eleena, her safety is now more important to me then I realize. now that my relationship with her is basically public knowledge my new enemies will use her to get to me. of course I have put additional security for her and her family, but that is all I can ever do with the war now on the horizon.

Another big fear, perhaps my most worrying fear of all, was my visions. For it has been months since my last vision, For I foresaw how the coming war will begin, with the deaths of dozens of Jedi and that was all. What's troubling me the most about the lack of visions is it foretells how it all ends, now details in between the beginning and the end of this dark chapter in galactic history.

Todays meeting with my high command does not bode well by the feel of their emotions, the admirals were anxious as the army feels nervous about my response. " Ladies and gentleman please give me your respective reports, starting with the navy" I started while looking to them all with a reassuring smile. Being nice is odd and somewhat uncomfortable, but this is my new life now.

" Lord Twilight, the navy now has three battleships and at least a hundred light and heavy cruisers. of course we can't exclude almost four hundred Frigates and various other pickets" Said Admiral Sarah, one of my finest officers I've trained in the early years of the Empires upbringing. General Geza doesn't hesitate to give his report, despite his upbringing in the core he is my finest officer I have till he told me the following " My Lord we have more then five million troopers trained and ready to fight for you with another million finishing their training in a few months, expect another four million within the next two or so years"

The reports looked promising to say the least, but I could see in their eyes that despite our advanced weaponry and ships, we will lose more then what we can achieve. " What are our chances of securing even one sector if war breaks out?" I asked with a serious look in my yellow eyes. This time there was hesitation, till a new general answered " We believe we can secure it with a surprise assault, but after that it's the matter of the planets in question...so around 25% at best chance of success" 25% did not sound promising at all, then again it's when we start fighting that's the problem.

In my opinion we should delay any chance of entering a war to begin with, but with the future now slowly to become clouded...I can't be sure. " How long till our new shipyards be online?" I asked with a little hope in my voice. the response was swift this time " Within four months sire, then we can produce over a hundred starships in a yearly manner" as much as I like to see our industries flourish, the war time economy will be devastated before we can achieve any meaningful victory.

" General Musk, how many worlds do you believe half our army can garrison in the occupied territories?" I asked the new general who paled before answering my question. " I believe in the time of war...we can safely occupy fifty at best" He said with a fear in his eyes. I didn't like the answer but I didn't show it, thus the most difficult decision.

" I believe we secure more territory by covert means, even if it means taking territory from the Hutts" I said which made most of my council flinch at the mention of Hutts. " Sire but why go to the length of securing Hutt space? they don't pose a threat to us but the CIS and the Republic!" Said General Musk, who had a point, but I explained. " The Hutts may have been untouchable throughout history since the founding of the Republic, but they hold the most wealth and resources then we know what to do with. think of the potential of freed slaves who will owe their freedom to the Empire"

As much as the council dislikes the idea of waging war with the Hutts, they can't disagree with the idea of all the lost wealth that could be used for good. In my old life I would never think twice on seizing another Sith Lords wealth, but from the Hutts… it's a suicide mission. never before has any star nation attempted to take over the Hutts territory and succeeded.

The discussion about the invasion of Hutt space will no doubt take longer then expected to convince the council on the potential of resources and wealth for the Empire. In the end it was decided that we attack as soon as the war begins but with good timing and careful choice of targets, Nul Hutta being the primary objective. The operation will no doubt take a few years to plan and execute but I know we can succeed with our technology and discipline of our mighty military.

By the end of the day, we made slight changes to our plans and made new decisions regarding the event that either side of the war would win. Some plans will no doubt take immediate effect if the worst does occur, for example, if the Republic wins their war they may focus their resources against us. Something I will not allow the repeat of history, the enemy, no matter who will lose against me.

As I walked home with Eleena waiting for me, a vision came to me while walking through me gardens. A vision about Eleena this time...but what I saw will haunt me to the end of days, a voice of cold hatred the likes of which I have never heard before. " She Shall pay the price for your arrogance!" he said before cutting down the one I love, my spirit was broken in my Vision before the stranger cut me down as well.

My blood chilled before I realized it, but my hatred flared upon seeing my beloved dying by his hand. I have heard stories of many famed warriors who had similar relationships, but some killed their loved ones to prevent such weakness. Not me... I deny this fact, I love Eleena too much to see her die by my enemy's hands.

When the war does come, with or without seeing the future, I will do everything in my power to stop this black armoured Sith Lord. By the time I walked to my quarters, with my beloved sitting on the bed. Relief and calmness flowed through me like the force, my fears were eased after seeing her...no one will harm...No one!

Chapter 11: the Whispers of war

Chapter Text

The Future has been clouded by the Dark side, even I can't perceive the outcome of the coming war. A year had passed since I had my last vision regarding My love Eleena, her fair face making my heart flutter every time I see it. sometimes the dark side of the force would use my love for her as my primary strength when training with my Lightsabre.

Of course problems begin to arrive as my contacts in the underworld begin hearing rumours of a plotted assassination against one of the senators. what's worse is the sudden growth of immigration from worlds who left their homes within the borderlands of the Republic and the CIS. making it more difficult for my military to keep order in some parts of the empire, on some positive note more worlds have joined me or began colonizing some uninhabited world within the Empire.

speaking of my military, we have expanded the fleet of battleships by nearly twice over, with hundreds of more ships either retrofitted or built by my Shipyards. my armies have grown as well with every million souls commanded by a general, for every five generals there's a Marshal. however it has become more difficult to maintain my armies without just cause due to some unpopular decisions regarding the manpower requirements for such a large military.

In my fort I walked beside my Eleena, who wore a beautiful green dress with blue gems to match her beautiful blue skin. I flushed when I first saw her wear it the first time as a gift of our fifth anniversary, of course you can guess what happened afterwards. But in the midst of thinking those times, an imperial officer was running straight for us, my hand slowly reached for my Sabre hilt.

" Sire! there's been an attempt on Senator Amidala's life!" Said the now tired out officer. My hand paused, I sensed the growing unease between the messenger and Eleena. " Who is this senator that was almost killed?" I asked,  Of course I knew briefly who she is, the former queen of Naboo and hero in it's battle.

I could only guess the worse as the officer told me everything he knew, from the ships explosion to its conclusion. I grimly looked on to only see Eleena having fear in her eyes, knowing the worst is yet to come. " Officer, take Eleena to her quarters and inform the guard to be ready for anything! I fear this is only to get worse from here on out" I ordered before Eleena could protest.

she then gave me a knowing look for what will happen next, I gave her my smile in return. As soon as she was gone I quickly moved to the emergency comm channel and called for an immediate meeting. Soon the war will begin and I need to see how the galaxy responds to the new threat for the both powers of the galaxy.

As soon as I reached the meeting chambers, half my council had arrived, some looked tired to high heaven others looked poorly dressed. Soon the meeting began with some officers still arriving as we reached to the point that we were planning for the start of the war. some don't looked convinced we're ready for the coming war, others feel confident of our improved chances.

I beg to differ, especially how I realized where the first battle will take place. So I said " We're not going to war...at least not yet" this shocked everyone, even my oldest officers were shocked about my attitude about the war.

" But Sire, isn't this the war you personally foresaw? don't you think we should attack while we still have the chance?" Said general Musk who has grown eager for war in recent months. So I humbled him and said " Think about this way, if we wait to see who would gets weaker from the early stages of the war, we can take our time to be better prepared. Even if we were attacked first, we still have the element of surprise, superior firepower"

In the end, the council agreed with my passive approach if the War does break out. but word of war coming has already started to spread before I knew it, nearly a million people will learn that war is coming in every passing minute. yes, war will no doubt encourage refugees to find new safe havens for the duration of the war, So I ordered construction of new housing units for the future.

My industries are now in full swing, producing arms and armour for the armies and new fighters and ships for the Navy. for each passing day, more soldiers are recruited despite the fears of war coming. though I should be thankful  for the coming war, it didn't feel right, not when something felt wrong from how the events soon followed.

Not even two days later another attempt on the Senators life occurred once again. only for the Jedi to intervene to learn the assassin was killed by a bounty hunter, according to my sources of course. Each passing day grows more fear for my citizens, so I tried to assure them that the war will not start in our sector.

but it only got worse when I learned of a secret army of clones from a World I haven't heard in so long...Kamino. How I didn't realize that Kamino would have the resources to build the so-called 'Grand Army' of the Republic. War is coming closer faster then I have anticipated, secret armies being built in such small amount of time is too much of a coincidence.

Till I realized too late that this is the plan of the old Sith order, a plan to weaken the galaxy with two armies along with the Jedi. Clever but too much of a coincidence, whispers of war is slowly growing into cries as the senate declared the formation of the Grand army of the Republic. With Jedi leading the armies in response to the Separatist secret droid armies on Geonosis.

My visions were coming true, disturbing the force with such intensity in my mind it was unlike I have ever felt. So I waited...waited to hear the words I now feared ,for the first time in my life, the words war had begun. I watched from the shadows as the Jedi perished by the dozen ,from my secret surveillance system, in the arena.

Soon the footage became patchy at best as clones came to the Jedi's rescue and soon followed by the battle itself. the reports afterwards were mixed but the casualties were heavy for the Republic, the price for the total demilitarization of the Republic. I didn't need to read the reports to tell me what I already knew...the Clone wars have begun.

So now I wait for my time, my time to fight in this war...to stop whatever madness that comes my way. I once thought fear and death were perfect tools to keep control over an Empire, but now...after ruling the Empire for over a decade, it is not. The time of the old Sith empires are over...now is the time for my empire to be reforged in the fires of war...

Chapter 12: the early days

Chapter Text

The war may have begun but it was only the beginning to see the many failures of the republic. barely a day after the battle of Geonosis the Jedi were made as generals for the Clone army, who suffered heavy losses on their first battle. Volunteer regiments were quickly formed across the galaxy while the droid armies are on the move.

My council agrees with my assessment for us to wait to see who will grow weaker before we attack. though that may take time, problems began to grow as the war takes root. Supplies such as ship materials, weapons and fuel were slowly cut off from the growing battlelines across the galactic north.

Refugees are now coming here, by the tens of thousands in nearly a daily rate. thankfully I prepared for such an outcome but the rate of ships and masses of refugees will no doubt take over every prepared housing unit within days instead of months.

I soon ordered my overstretched engineering corps to build new housing units on the most critical worlds that will no doubt support my war. factory worlds and agriculture worlds have been prioritized to support the growing population, thankfully the refugees have some skills and talent that we can use to our advantage. how ever it is the army recruitment that has stagnated from not even a week into the Clone wars.

by the time the week ended my council convened on the situation, which in my opinion was grim. " Sire, in the last week we received more then five hundred thousand refugees, no doubt more will come" Said one of my officers. by the look on their faces it was no surprise, we were not prepared for such a wave of people from the nearest sectors.

" At this rate we will have no homes to spare, let alone the resources to keep the people fed" Admiral Sarah said, despite making a fair point I disagree. So I said " That problem will fix itself when we secure the Hutt territories, besides the newest housing units and food supply will be secured within a month from now" Though my council can't voice their objections, I could sense their ease returning after learning the rate of our construction.

However not everyone agrees with that fact. " Even so how long till we receive millions of people in a weekly manner, our construction companies will be overwhelmed and we will not have the resources to even build most housing units!" general Musk said. I glared at him briefly till I looked over my notes, noting that the war refugees may head towards the Core instead.

"As it so happens General Musk, most of the refugees will be heading towards the core instead of the outer rim, course that will change when we begin our assault on the Hutts" I said with a small smile. I don't often smile other when I'm with Eleena, but it made some of my officers feel uncomfortable. Discussions then turned to how to prepare for the war's long duration to building more ships to meet demand and so on.

during the meeting the council and I received an update regarding the war front, The Republic had lost a major fleet engagement near the outer rim. I smiled for a moment, this war may be easier then I thought if their naval leadership is beyond incompetent. however I am wary of the Jedi leadership, despite a thousand years of peace they may still return to their ancient military doctrine.

Ancient doctrines I know personally but the modern jedi's fighting prowess I have little knowledge of since they mainly deal with petty disputes and such. the Clone army is another concern, since they literally appeared out of nowhere it is safe to say someone wanted a clone army before the war even began. But since their initial appearance they have been poorly led by Jedi in almost every major battlefront so far.

Clearly the numbers of clones is vastly limited but I have the advantage in terms of superior training and quality of my armour of the troopers. the council meeting then discussed from their observations of the Republic fleet tactics, relying on old and ancient starships to fight the war. Then we turned our attention to the Separatist alliance, who's legions of droids have gained ground in some sectors and seemingly wining fast.

plans to counter the droid armies have been drawn up and readied, even stealing the ' droid popper' technology will prove invaluable. by the end of the meeting it was decided to commission more shipyards to build more ships to keep our fleets up to full strength. Even meeting the planetary leaders regarding the war in secret will prove valuable when they join my empire.

Yes, securing worlds who feel unsafe in this war will be easier when we join the war. but there is a great risk once the two parties learn of a new competitor, my empire. So I thought to prepare when it came to dealing with the Jedi and the old Sith order.

After the meeting I returned to my quarters, thinking how the war will take so many lives. Already my vision came to pass regarding the first battle of the Clone wars, no doubt more lives will be lost. My empire must thrive in these turbulent times, buying us time to prepare for the war ahead.

But the fear of losing the war soon grew in my heart by the time I reached my quarters. why the fear? I know not, but whatever it is I must stay strong for both my empire and my love Eleena. The war that I will enter soon will be the only war I pray I will ever fight...hopefully the last in my lifetime.

Chapter 13: of tensions and preparations

Chapter Text

Weeks flew by before I knew it, more refugees did indeed come by the hundred thousand. supplies were strained to maintain our armies and fleets, even keeping our people fed and healthy is slowly becoming difficult. trade through our shadow networks is working overtime to maintain a form of stability for our many worlds.

fears from beyond our borders have begun to circulate as our forces are being put into position in case of a surprise attack. despite this there was some benefit for having my soldiers present on the dozens of worlds along the potential warfront. Building projects were finished faster but steadily, housing is barely kept ahead of  the waves of refugees.

our industries have been reinvigorated thanks to new employment from the millions of refugees, from durasteel manufacturing to ship construction. weapon factories are quickly built to supply my armies and fleets, war machines are being built on a steady rate. food production is improved drastically thanks to the cultivation of the new colonies.

Speaking of new colonies, worlds have begun to pledge their loyalty to my empire, from the neutral systems to the very borderlands of Hutt space. however, the CIS had grown bold as to attack many republic worlds closer to our territory, I even prayed to the maker to keep them away from us. perhaps the most stressful thing to think about is the sudden crime rate that gives me more cause to attack the Hutts.

I looked to Beni for more information regarding the war, but he shook his head. Clearly nothing good in this war, but I still held on to my decision for remaining neutral till the opportune time to strike. In any case I continued to read through whatever reports I could get my hands on from the warfront, all of it is purely stupid.

The Jedi have performed in this war poorly to the point they charge into the battle with their clones dying by the thousand. their logistics is a mess to high hells, their fleets disorganised and most of all the regular armies are fighting with scraps. in other words the battlefronts have frozen into a stalemate.

Then came a report regarding Ryloth, Eleena's homeworld, has been taken by the CIS leader Watt Tambor. If the Jedi keep failing to keep their member worlds under their protection, the trust of the people will  deteriorate fast. If my memory is correct Ryloth is not far from the Hutt territories, perhaps securing Ryloth from that direction will prove beneficial.

However I am not properly ready to secure such a vital world, more for propaganda then resource wise. carefully planned my fleet routes to meet the enemy head on rather then wait it out by siege or long term ship to ship combat. perhaps the most difficult part about my preparations for this war is to secure more manpower in the worst case scenario.

Eleena then entered my office after reading my latest reports regarding the Jedi's unique situation on Christophis. When I looked to her I noticed something was...good? her glow was clear as day, yet her smile was barely concealed. That was when I sensed it...her happiness was beyond joyful...with a small life within her.

Then it hit me...she's pregnant, with my child no less but I felt myself smiling after feeling the joy. her smile grew wider when she knows that I felt the good news, I left my desk and hugged her gently with our child still in her womb. Beni was confused till I order him to leave us alone, which he complied.

despite the war, there was still some joy to be made and shared in the galaxy. we soon discussed how we may raise our child, how to balance our work lives with the baby being present. then the tension returned to my soul when a terrible thought came to me, what if she dies before giving birth or worse losses the baby.

knowing that I assured myself that nothing will happen to my family, huh, it's strange saying that considering I'm a Sith lord. after that momentous event it was decided that the news about our baby be kept a secret till a better opportunity is made. course her family knows about our child and preparations for the child's birth is underway.

Days flew by and my focus returned to the war after spending my time with my love. Christophis was won by the Jedi duo Anakin Skywalker and Obi wan Kenobi, Curious I read more into their profiles their tactics were...interesting, from false surrenders to reckless wave assaults. I regarded them with not only interest but caution as well considering how they fought alongside with the Clones, leading to high casualties despite their victory.

another report informs me that the Jedi have begun sending their inexperienced Padawans to the battlefields. no doubt their combat skills will be inefficient against the droid armies and the one called General Grievous. the Republic is no doubt desperate to end the war with the Jedi leading their armies, with the regulars being the exception so far but their chain of command is in chaos.

As for my armies, they have been drilling since day one of the war, recruits have been signing up by the thousands. sure the training will be a year long process but  it will be better then whatever the Republic regular armies have for training. soon my armies will be strong enough to hold back even the droid armies with ease when our war with both sides begins.

supplies are being stockpiled accordingly across my empire, even on worlds that pledged their allegiance in secret have accepted the stockpiles. some of their resources rerouted to my heartland in steady preparations for the war industry that will come to full swing. my navy will block out the stars as our enemies tremble in fear of our now dozen battleships.

Perhaps in the future every sector will have a small fleet with a battleship at the helm. but not today or this war, not while stakes have grown now I am going to be a father. Let's hope the war doesn't come to me too early or we may never win the war.

Chapter 14: horns of war must be blown

Chapter Text

months turned away before I knew it, refugee ships have decreased, battles between the CIS and the Republic have increased. my armies are ready along with the navy, armed with the latest weapons my empire had to offer. but still the fear of losing the war is on everyone's mind, but not me, I have faith in my empire's capabilities.

After months of preparing for the coming war, I have secretly deployed my forces within the worlds that are pledged to the empire. though it brings risk considering I'm spreading my forces thinly across the known territory of space. then problems arose as the war is heading right for my empire, especially as the stalemate had been broken after months of grounded battles and space combat.

the war was migrating to our borders and despite some worlds calling themselves neutral they are still attacked from both sides of the conflict. giving me more cause to protect worlds outside of my empire, after all I have promises to keep. my fleets have grown ad much as possible before the war comes to us with everything they have.

I trained myself with the force and the skills of the blade, preparing to fight either Jedi or Sith if it comes to it. while we make our final preparations, I read a new report after my recent training, regarding a Jedi believing that some neutral world may turn to the CIS. little did they know that the world in question is under my protection despite not being part of my empire.

Regarding the situation carefully I ordered for my personal battleship to be ready along with a dozen ships to defend the world of Tyrus. The call to war has been made throughout my empire, after a decade of peace, preparing for war, we were ready. at least as ready as we can be despite our current resources and controlled worlds we may lose we may not but we might as well try.

As I was heading towards my shuttle, Eleena was behind me when I turned to her, well into her final months of pregnancy. " Eleena it is not safe for you to be with me, please stay here where it is safe for the delivery" I asked her before I depart for my ship. She looked to me and stubbornly said " I am not having the baby here alone without you, besides you need me as much as I need you" Losing time I conceded to her demands as we soon depart from the capital world.

by the time I arrived on my battleship, the finest in the fleet, my fleet was ready for their first potential battle. I soon disembarked from my shuttle with two dozen crimson guardsmen and my beloved partner Eleena by my side. before me stood at attention thousands of servicemen from all branches, giving me the salute barely a moment after I left the shuttle.

I was pleased with the discipline of my army and navy, so I carried on to the bridge with Eleena by me. I watched how fast I was walking with Eleena being heavily pregnant, yet my crew and fleet prepared for our departure of the home system. By the time I reached the bridge, I gave the nod of approval and we were in hyperspace.

my bridge crew in full attention to their respective tasks, no one delaying in my presence. soon learned that my fleet is carrying my latest legion of Sith troopers, armed with the latest model of blaster and equipped with the toughest and lightest armour they could wear. with them we can win almost any battle...even a Jedi is no match to their skills.

Tyrus, a green world on the edge of the battlelines, yet peaceful in it's neutrality. it had barely been a month since it's local monarchy had been deposed and soon the government had sworn loyalty to the Empire. Course neither Republic nor CIS are aware of such a fact, for it was the condition by the emperor to keep it secret for as long as possible.

yet commander Kress, was informed of a coming attack from the Republic. was she worried? no for if she was worried the emperor himself would demote her. so she carefully informed her junior officers to prepare for the coming battle, against what is uncertain.

Kress looked to the sky and breathed a steady breath from this worlds clean air. perhaps will be her only breath of peace before war finally comes to her. So far she had time to prepare for the enemy, deploying her few ten thousand soldiers to the capital and spaceport to secure them from hostile aggression.

she looked to her sidearm and primed it's power cells for combat, set to kill. then her lieutenant walked into her office and gave her the last report, before looked at her officer with appreciation to his clean armour. happy to see most if not all troopers of the Empire to be orderly and readied, with some adding a small art piece to remind them of their homeworlds.

" Lieutenant, are the civilians informed of what will happen when the battle begins?" She asked when the officer nodded in confirmation. Having said that, she knew there will be casualties no matter how much she tried to deny the fact. then a light boom was heard from across the sky, three venators appeared  above Tyrus.

No hail was given from the Republic, let alone a signal for their intentions. Fearing the worst Kress then said "Lieutenant order the men to be ready, they have five minutes" without another word the officer carried out the order. no matter how vague the orders were, Kress knew they would understand, having trained with some of them since the beginning.

soon her worst fears were answered as swarms of gunships begin arriving just minutes after the Republic appeared in system. her troopers are in position as the first soldiers of the Republic begin landing just outside the city gateway. soon hundreds of clones were in marching formation before the city, with a jedi leading it.

As She watched from the safety of the city tower, she noted the jedi to be the main target if worse comes to worse. Then she received a beacon from her high command, help is on the way, no doubt thanks to the intelligence bureau of the Empire. still her worries begin to mount as more clones arrived with their armour and even elements of regular soldiers in their ranks.

this is not a peaceful occupation, it's a hostile takeover plain and simple. before she knew it the Jedi called out to the city and said " People of Tyrus! surrender any Separatist sympathizers to us and we can ensure your safety in this war!" clearly they don't know about the Empire...they will soon enough.

Kress then ordered her troops to stand by as a civilian official walked to the jedi as was protocol. however, from the expression of the Jedi through her binoculars, negotiations are not going to their favour. before she knew it the poor man was forced pushed back into the city by the force of the Jedi.

Seeing this as an act of aggression she order her nearest troopers to intervene. but when the troopers appeared out of cover, the Jedi became paranoid and declared for all to hear " The separatists are here! attack!" clearly the Jedi had never seen a trooper before aside from clones, clearly used to fighting Droids.

not long after being declared as ' Separatists' the clones fired on her men. clearly mad she ordered the attack on the Republic, seeing the Jedi will not listen to reason. within a blink of an eye all hell broke loose, hundreds of imperial troopers raised themselves over the walls and fired upon the Republic troopers.

Kress was helpless from her position but she can still observe to see where her troops need to reorganize to fight the republic. the death was more on the Republic the her men, clones falling by the dozen, exposed in the plains. the republic walkers were firing their cannons but were soon taken down one by one, thanks to the empires only close air support on the planet.

Kress's only orders were to hold out till help arrives, no matter how long. for she had faith that her Emperor will come to her aid against the Jedi scum. the days of the Republic are now numbered with the Empire entering the war...no matter the cost.

Chapter 15: Lord Twilight appears

Chapter Text

The Jedi makes another blaster deflect to his enemy, shot right back to his chest. only to see the trooper retreat with only a small wound from the deflection. after witnessing it for the fifteenth time in the last hour, the enemy is not getting tired let alone losing anyone by the looks of it.

as for his forces, they are losing more then what they are taking, he lost half his walkers and entire platoons of clones and regulars to the enemy. gunship support is limited due to the enemies unique strike craft he has never seen before. He knew the CIS were developing new starships to counter the Republic, could they be it? his thoughts were then interrupted when his comm link was beeping.

when he answered it cries and fears were known when his captain then says without salute " master Kainan...were under attack by unidenti-". Comms were silent when a thunder was heard across the battlefield, the three venators were being bombarded by shear firepower alone. when the Jedi looked to the aggressors, his soul froze from the sight of the ships that can be seen.

his thoughts...drifted to one conclusion and one conclusion only...the Sith have returned. before he could respond or act a fleet of gunships of old imperial design were heading straight for the city rear. However in the midst of the fleet was a single shuttle, a slim one but recognisable for a single purpose...for a Sith.

The Jedi quickly made orders to prepare for the Sith lord, he thought it had to be Darth Sidious, the master of count Dooku. yet when the shuttle landed in the middle of the road, past the gates, the air changed, even as his clones took up positions behind cover. something was very wrong, he could feel it in the Force, he doesn't understand why he feels...fear.

when the shuttle ramp lowered, poured through dozens of red troopers, pure crimson. but they were the heralds for a much stronger opponent...someone more powerful in the force. till he appeared, covered in what looked like an ancient mask of the dead Sith empire yet it held such aura of authority he couldn't explain.

then hundreds of soldiers were marching in unison behind the shuttle, no debris would stop their march, so organized to a fault. his blood chilled as he sensed his comrades sharing the same fear even the clones...fear. then someone said they are being surrounded again this time in a panic as thousands of these red troopers begin appearing beside the army of white.

Reality finally hit him...this is no Separatist army or any Sith empire resurgence...but a foe none will stand a chance. his lips were trembling like a scared child as the mysterious Sith lord slowly began walked down the road almost in sync with his army. the soldiers beside the Jedi began to tremble as well but were steady...till the Sith lords tenth step made some of them faulter and run.

The Jedi then heard one word from the Sith...one word that will break any army.

"Run" He said.

Before he knew it the Sith army charged with no sign of delay or cowardice. their screams can be heard from all directions, causing dozens of his men to flee to the downed gunships. clones began firing back as the enemy was now in range to return the favour.

even as the Republic army was just firing off their blasters and cannons, the Sith ignited his Sabre and leaped forward. cutting down all who were unfortunate to get in his way towards the Jedi. the old master just blocked him in time, but the shear power from the blow sent him nearly on his backside.

such power behind his opponents swing is beyond years of his experience, not even Dooku in his age could master such a swing against a Jedi. " you fool...do you truly believe you could defeat me?" the Sith spoke before a small group of clones came to his aid. but before he could order them, the Sith lord used the force in such a way and speed it's unheard of.

with a flick of his wrist all dozen clones necks broke in unison, no hesitation and no mercy. he can sense his eyes boring into his very soul, this is no ordinary Sith, no master of Count Dooku. the Jedi looked behind him to only see one of his ships crashing down into the planets atmosphere.

In fury the Jedi tried fighting back, striking at the Sith lord with everything he had. but the Sith lord simply shrugged off the assault like dealing with a Lothal Cat. In a  few swings from the Sith the Jedi was in a retreat, his army seeing him losing to a new opponent, began to lose hope.

then the Sith lord used the force to lift one of the downed Walkers, an AT-TE walker of all things, the Jedi then ordered everyone to run for the transports. but it was too late, the Walker was flying over the battlefield before it flattened dozens of his troops. their path to escape was blocked by three sides, forcing his men to take cover either among the dead or the walkers legs.

in the end only himself and  a few dozen soldiers were left and surrounded at the enemies mercy. especially the Sith lords mercy, who doesn't appear tired from using the force, clearly he is the most powerful force wielder the Jedi has ever seen. his only chance is to defeat him and it will all be over, he convinced himself that HE is the stronger wielder of the Force.

But before he took action, the Sith lord said " I am lord Twilight, emperor of a new Empire, Master of the Sith! herald to the end of this decadent age!" as he said those words, the army behind him cheered, the red armoured ones were silent but the white ones were profusely cheering him. " What kind of spell did you cast upon these poor souls you call an army!" the Jedi spoke.

the Sith lord smiled behind his mask, but it was sensed through the force, that sinister smile. " there was no spell of any kind to earn such loyalty, unlike your fellow soldiers who were...made to follow you" He said with such malice in his voice when he mentioned the Jedi's pathetic army. the clones remain resolute but the regulars have simply given up.

Before the Sith lord could continue the Jedi charged again with his blade, only to start a long and pointless duel of the force. A duel which Lord Twilight would soon end as the sight of the last venator had begun to fall through the now dusky sky. it's reds and purples streaming the twilight sky, forcing his opponent to see it before a fatal wound has made across the abdomen.

As the Jedi falls to his knees, his weapon now gone from his hands, the Sith Lord the says " you...and your order...are weak" as the jedi begins to roar out in humiliation, his head has cleaved from the crimson blade. in front of the survivors, their last hope perished before their eyes, the clones then raised their weapons but never fired.

for they too died from the single grip of Lord Twilights hand, all the clones that opposed to their last breath died. those who survived surrendered, in the Sith lords mercy they were made prisoners of war. this was only the beginning.

"Hmmm" I looked to the corpses of the Jedi and his clones, a dark thought swelled in my mind from what I remembered from the visions of the past. the clones have a deep connection to the jedi's demise but how I was uncertain...till now that is. I felt it in their minds, something that shouldn't belong there.

though the feeling of their fears was...exotic, haven't felt such fear in so long it was addicting. then I remembered, the clones ARE the cause of the Jedi's demise, but when is a big problem, though unlikely now I have joined the so called clone wars. I kept the information to myself before an imperial officer appeared in sight, clearly pleased with herself from the battle.

" Commander inform your men to remain posted here to further notice in the mean time help rebuild the city" I ordered before returning to my shuttle with the commander saluting me. it was strange during the battle, how my army, without experience, cheered me on like a god of war. It was unsettling at first but then my thoughts were interrupted the moment I entered my shuttle from a comm link.

As I opened my comm link a medical officer was on instead of Eleena. my worries became real for I sensed it, my love is in labour. " Say no more, I'm on my way, pilot take me to my ship immediately!" I said not even within a minute did the shuttle take off.

As we leave Tyrus behind, the debris from the space battle was very evident, the three venators did not stand a chance against my dozen ships. I was deeply worried during the whole time I was on the planet leaving behind Eleena on my starship with the battle going on. now new worries grew, worries about my child.

never have felt such worry about a birth of my child, will they posses the force or not? will it impact the future of my dynasty? too many questions in little time. whatever happens...I will love my family to the end of time...no matter what.
