Work Text:
The room was dark, only lit up by a few forgotten candles at the desk, illuminating the scattered papers and other trinkets. The air was thick and warm with tension. No one from the two expected things to take turns like that...
__
The evening was like every other day. Solomon was working on some spells, writing things down with quill as he hummed quietly in thoughts, sometimes pulling at his bottom lip. Though, today he had a special guest.
MC slowly walked inside his study, placing the steaming mug on his desk.
"Here you go. I hope you'll like it."
Solomon blinked as he got pulled from his thoughts. He looked at the mug, then at MC, a warm smile spreading across his lips without him even thinking about it.
"Yes, thank you."
He reached out for a second chair he kept nearby and pulled it to the desk. Then he patted it happily.
"Sit with me for a while. My eyes are getting blurry from all the writing."
MC only swallowed a small laugh and sat down next to him.
"Maybe you should switch the candle for a normal light and you will see better."
Now it was time for Solomon to snort.
"Maybe, but I like candles better. I've been using them for... Well... For a while."
"For centuries, huh?"
Solomon laughed and nodded his head.
"Yeah, for centuries."
He sighed, still with a smile on his lips. He reached for the mug and blew away the steam before carefully taking a sip to not burn his tongue. He let out a content hum and nodded.
"It's delicious. I just love how you make it."
MC shook her head.
"Oh please, it's nothing special. It's just tea leaves and boiling water with a little bit of honey."
"Well, for me it's special..."
He muttered and looked at her. MC felt her heart skip a beat at the way he said it so casually and yet with so many feelings. He was usually playfully with her, even bordering on flirting, but seeing him so sincere with the soft smile and gentle eyes was really different.
"... I'm glad you're here for me, even when I just want my tea. I really care for you, MC. And I always will."
He placed the quill down and turned to look at her again. He slowly reached out to her, taking her hand, just holding it. MC only blinked at him with a kind of dumbfounded expression. This was new. Did Solomon spilled some love potion on himself or something? Or maybe his food finally caught up to him and now he's having hallucinations? But his expression gave away he was speaking from the bottom of his heart.
MC smiled and gently squeezed his hand.
"But of course, I'll always be there for you too. You're not getting rid of me so easily. I'm like a leech!"
She joked and playfully poked his arm. Solomon laughed and shook his head.
"I'm well aware of that."
A comfortable silence filled the room. They kept looking at each other, the warm light from the candle illuminating their features.
After a few moments, MC decided to break the silence.
"So... What were you writing about?"
Solomon hummed and gently pulled away his hand from her, picking up the papers.
"Ah, it's nothing. Just a few spells and curses I want to teach you later."
He smiled and sorted them before placing them back down on the desk. His handwriting was pretty much unreadable even though it's pleasing to the eye. MC nodded, her gaze trailing from the papers back to him, meeting his gaze.
He only smiled back at her more.
Seriously, what was up with the mood today?
Solomon only admired her face in the warm light before he caught himself and cleared his throat. He reached for the mug again, taking a few sips of the tea. The room was silent again. Then MC gathered the courage to talk again.
"Solomon..."
Hearing his name with such a serious yet nervous tone spilling from her lips was unusual for him, but it also stirred a warm tingling feeling in his stomach. He looked at her again with a curious look.
"Yes, MC? Something's wrong?"
Seeing the strangely adorable look on his face, MC's tongue got tied. She gulped and looked at him as if trying to drill a hole into his head. Then she mustered the rest of the strength that somewhat didn't escape and leaned in, placing a small peck on the corner of his mouth. Solomon froze, his eyes widening. He felt like his heart was skipping a few beats, his palms got sweaty and suddenly the room felt a few degrees warmer, huh?
As MC pulled away with the same sheepish look, Solomon basically couldn't look at her without his cheeks heating up. They were both silent. MC was panicking about reading the situation wrong.
"Solomon--"
Solomon interrupted her and shifted in his seat, finally looking back at her.
"MC, I... Thank you."
MC looked slightly confused.
"Why are you thanking me?"
He only smiled.
"Because you kissed me!"
Now the room felt light again. MC chuckled at the silly sentence that left his lips and shook her head. Solomon couldn't help himself but joined her laughter. After the laughter silenced, they stared at each other again.
Solomon watched her features, his eyes dropping to her mouth. Her sweet tantalizing lips. Before he knew it, he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. Direct, sweet kiss.
MC didn't pull away, she kept her lips pressed into his. Solomon slightly pulled away, pressing his forehead against hers before kissing her again, this time longer. His hands snaked to her knee and arm, holding onto her as if she was about to disappear. Her hands trailed to his white messy hair and his shoulder.
Their lips slowly moved against each other, their bodies heating up at the touch of each other. She could smell him, his scent, herbs and something... Well... His. Unique.
Solomon got a little bit daring and deepened the kiss, his tongue darting past his lips. MC gasped, surprised yet not discouraged. Solomon took advantage of that and slipped his tongue inside her mouth. His touch was gentle yet needy, holding onto her as his hand trailed to her cheek.
The room was soon filled with their shared gasps and the sound of kissing. But sooner or later, they had to stop to breathe properly. Solomon broke the kiss, breathy and red. He only licked his lips and smiled, pressing his forehead to hers and not letting go of her.
"I love you, MC... I love you with my whole heart."
MC didn't really expect him to confess, even after all the kissing. Before she could speak, he pulled her into another passionate kiss.
The time stopped for them as they let themselves get carried away by their own feelings.
And so...
The room was dark, only lit up by a few forgotten candles at the desk, illuminating the scattered papers and other trinkets. The air was thick and warm with tension.
They were no longer sitting at his desk, but rather laying on the nearby couch in his study. Solomon trailed soft, open-mouthed kisses down her neck, occasionally sucking on the soft skin. MC was already squirming under him with soft gasps escaping her lips.
Solomon pulled away and admired his handiwork. He wouldn't admit that but he was feeling quite the pride that he could make her whimper like that. He smiled and kissed her lips again, fingers brushing over the hem of her t-shirt, asking for silent approval. MC nodded and started pulling at his own black turtleneck.
Solomon only smiled and pulled away to take off her t-shirt. He placed it on the armrest of the couch before he took his coat off and pulled his turtleneck over his head. MC's gaze slowly traveled down his body, many pact marks written into his skin, some fainter, some more visible, some smaller, some bigger. They were all unique and she could recognize one or two. Solomon didn't even pay no mind to them, he kept seeing them daily, but his gaze got stuck on her instead. Her soft warm skin was exposed to his eyes. He leaned down and kissed her collarbones, his kisses trailing all the way down, stopping at her stomach.
He playfully smiled at her before pulling down her pants. He even stopped caring about the clothes, letting them fall down on the floor.
She squirmed slightly and blushed again at being in front of him only in underwear. He cooed at her and gently rubbed her hips, peppering her stomach with kisses.
"I love you so much MC. And I want you to know that I'll never stop loving you. Ever. You'll always be in my heart."
MC felt her heart stop at his words. He was so surprisingly romantic.
"Solomon..."
He only hummed back and his hands found her back and undid her bra. He looked at her, searching for any signs of distress or hesitation but saw none. His hands slowly pulled her bra down, exposing her soft breasts for him.
He leaned down, his fingers brushing over the warm skin, feeling it. He felt like he was pulled closer to her by some kind of spell each second he spent with her.
His fingers gently brushed over her nipples, watching them pebble and soften again. MC only blushed and squirmed slightly.
"Solomon...! Stop it!"
Solomon's eyes quickly darted to her, alarmed that he made her uncomfortable.
"Why's that? Are you uncomfortable? We can always stop if you want to, no pressure--"
"No! I mean, no need to stop. I'm just... Embarrassed."
Solomon smiled and chuckled.
"Ahh, is that so? Well then, would it help if I got naked first?"
"No! I would be embarrassed even more! Just... Don't tease me."
Solomon nodded his head and looked at her half naked form again.
"Well then... I was just appreciating your beauty. But of course I can be more subtle about it..."
He smiled and leaned down again, keeping eye contact with her as he pressed open-mouthed kiss between her breasts. MC looked away from him, covering her face in embarrassment. Solomon giggled gleefully and gently massaged her sides before his fingers slipped into her underwear and slowly pulled it down. His hungry gaze watched the skin he uncovered.
"You're so beautiful, my love..."
Solomon let out a dreamy sigh and gently pressed his lips on her stomach again. Then he stood up and undid his pants, watching her curiously for every small reaction.
After he was fully naked, he slowly climbed back on the couch and smiled, gently reassuring her with a kiss. His hands carefully, almost reverently, grasped her thighs and wrapped them around his waist.
She could feel him, and he could feel her.
"MC, can I...?"
MC nodded and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Solomon leaned into her and smiled, capturing her lips in a kiss again as he gently slid inside her. He felt like he could just collapse in bliss.
It felt so right to be with her.
So right.
"... My love... You casted a strong spell on me. You have me wrapped around your finger without even trying."
Solomon gently rocked his hips, holding her close to him. A soft gasp escaped her lips. Solomon smiled and moved his hips again, his hands moving to her own to stabilize her.
He was slow and gentle with her. He could go fast and pour out every pent up passion he has for her, but he wanted to show her his deep love first...
The couch creaked with each move, the room getting warmer, mixed gasps of pleasure filling the room. Solomon pressed his body into her as if in want to become one. He was reaching his release, and she was for sure too.
"MC, my love... I'm getting close..."
MC nodded, her grip on his back tight.
"Solomon!--"
But all she could say was his name, repeating it over and over. Her hand slid into his hair, gripping it tightly. He quickly pressed his lips on hers, kissing her through her release as he joined her.
His thrusts became irregular as they stalled completely. He only held her close, kissing her. After that, he laid down next to her, a small blissed smile spreading on his face. She cuddled closer to him and watched him with a slight pout. He started gliding his fingers over her back.
"Why are you pouting? Unsatisfied?"
MC only nudged his chest before rubbing her finger over one of the many pact marks he had there.
"You're so mean to me... I just... You had such a stupid grin on."
Solomon laughed and laid down, pulling her on top of him.
"What can I say? My dream girl let me worship her all I wanted. And I sure hope she'll let me again some time."
MC sighed but couldn't stop herself from smiling.
"You're so stupid. I can't believe you're supposed to be the big mighty Solomon the Wise. More like Solomon the Stupid."
Solomon grinned and patted her hip.
"Really? Well, maybe I should change the nickname then..."
He sighed and placed a kiss on the tip of her nose.
"But really. I'm glad things escalated like this. I wanted this for quite some time. I just didn't gather my courage to confess... Who would have thought."
He let out a small hum.
"I love you MC. Very much. And I will love you forever."
Solomon leaned in, wrapping his arms around her in a warm embrace.
And so, the candle slowly stopped burning, the room dark, only illuminated by the stars and the moon.
