Chapter Text
Thirteen Girls Arrive in Inkopolis, ready for the chance of a lifetime. A Cosmic Princess floats down while a Purple-Haired Fairy Flies in. Two Girls Arrive, already bickering, one with blue hair, the other with red hair. A girl with a pink dog-like creature walks in, tossing a strange sphere up into the air. A mermaid swims in from the water, taking human form before walking over to the house entrance.
Nearby, an outlaw arrives on a red bike, jumping off and spitting out a cigar onto the beach. A purple-furred Feline immediately throws the cigar away after putting it out, and looks at the woman abashed. An orange-haired girl sits with an Octoling, just like their old friends, and laughs. Soon, Luna, a blue-haired inkling, turns into her human form and comes in on a yacht.
"Hello, Ladies! Welcome to Fandom's Next Top Model! You are my lucky thirteen!!" She has a shiny Suicune beside her as she smiles. "For the next thirteen weeks, you will be living here together and doing challenges and photo shoots. Each week, one girl will go home until only two remain, who will go head-to-head in a fashion show. I hope you all have a great time! Here's your house keys! I'll see you later girls!" Luna tossed them the keys and walked away.
Immediatly the girls rushed into the house, Excited. Girls started picking rooms,and The Redhead and Blue haired girl made sure not to pick the same room. The cosmis princess and purple haired fairy moved in with the redhead.The other redhead moved in with the blue haired girl and the purple furred cat. The three immediatly began chatting.
Across the house, The Outlaw had moved in with the Octoling and the Orangette, and learned their names were Rose and Meggy. Ashe introduced herself as Ashe, and they began to chat a bit. The Blue haired duelist,the Pojemon Trainer and the Mermaid all shared a room and started to bond over being the only anime charecters in a slew of video game contestants.
Vanessa had a room to herself, and started talking to her alter ego Vanny. She also made vanny swear not to kill any of the models especially ones under eighteen. Soon,the girls met in the center to get to know one another.
The outlaw went first-"My name's Ashe.. I come from the Overwatch Universe and i lead a gang called Deadlocke." The orangette went next. "My bame's Meggy and i'm the current splatfest champion " The octoling went next-"I am Rose.. and i just recently got my memory fully back." Most girls went silent for a moment after hearing that. Soon introductions resumed-"I'm Tari.. I'm a meta runner." The teal haired girl said, and the one redhead with freckles spoke next-"I'm Maxine... and i cheated death." Everyone stares at her in shock, especially Vanessa. "Vanessa... I'm a security guard at Freddy's Mega Pizzaplex." The other redhead spoke-"I'm Belle. I'm also a meta runner and Tari's worst nightmare."
The girls stared at Tari and Belle, concerned. These two in the same place could spell trouble. "I'm Luchia and im a high school student" The mermaid girl said, and Skye spoke up-"Names Skye Zaizen.. i'm a Vrains celeberty duelist." Serena spoke next-"I'm Serena... a pokemon trainer and current Kalos Queen." Rosalina nods. "Rosalina...guardian of the cosmos." Ly was excited-"Ly The Fairy! one of the heros of the glade of dreams!!" Blaze smiled. "And i'm Blaze.. Princess of The SOL Dimension." After introductions, the girls chatted fpr a while.
Suddenly however, anger erupted. "WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" Belle started at tari, and Tari yelled back-"Why are YOU still a bitch!!" soon the two started fighting, and there was a comedic fight cloud. Luchia was hiding behind Rose, who was just stunned. At that moment,Luna was dropping by to give the girls their runway challenge, and was completly shocked. She watches for a while, before Ashe uses B.O.B to break the fight up, and Luna looks at the two feuding girls. "Really? Week 1 and this happens?" The two look shocked to see Luna. "I hope you don't do this in a professional setting.... Everyone get ready. We're going to Octavio's studio in Octo Canyon for a challenge." The girls all cheered piling into the limo. Luna just shook her head wonderong about Tari and Belles animosity to toward one another.
In Octo Canyon, Octavio waited for them with Luna Alongside him."Hello Wannabe Models.. I'm DJ Octavio. Your runway coach, and also one of your judges. Today you will be Modeling in my fashion show.. everyone go out on a pair of heels and head to hair and make up. I'll explain the theme there." The girls rushed to put on some black sequined highheeled boots. Then headed to hair and make up.
Octavio smiled-"Years ago i kidnapped Callie and made her perform on stage with me. I have made versions of that outfit in your signurature colors... today you will be walking the runway in these outfots, those Heels and fake Hypnoshades and Octarian Tattoos. I want to relive Octo Canyon Circa 2017!"
The girls were getting makeup done, and Tari was uneasy. "Won't this outfit show a lot of Skin? I'm self concious about that.." She confessed to Rosalina. Rosalina sighed-"I'm not afraid to show skin.. I'm afraid to walk as i've only ever really floated. Chances are i'm falling off that Runway." She sighed, a little Luma floating beside her. It was Polari trying to cheer her up.
Meanwhile, Blaze really likes the outfit. "Can i keep it Dj?" The feline royal asked, and Octavio nodded. "Ohoho.. If you like yours that much i don't see why not." Eventually,the music began and first to walk was Vanessa. In her Brown outfit, she posed stiffly at the end of the runway and also almost fell off as well. Octavio held his breath until he realized she didn't fall. Next out was Skye, and she walked well. Her blue angel themed outfit was pretty, and she had an okayish walk.. but she forgot to pose.
Belle came out and her walk was a Disaster- That and she had a wardrobe malfunction when a boob played peekabo. The crowd of octarians let off a ghasp. Tari went out next, Obviously cautious about how much skin she was showing and her walk lacked confidence. Luchia came out and accidentally forgot to pose before going back. Maxine walked out, and despite never wearing heels she walked like a Pro and Delivered. Suddenly however, the music changed to bomb rush blush feat dj octavio.. and Meggy walked out. It was like stairing at Callie- she sang in time, struck that memorable pose, and the crowd went wild. Octavio smiled, truly being transported back in time. Rose went next, and Agent 8 tried the same, not wanting to be outdone. However, she messed up a few lines of the song.
Blaze came out, and her fire powers accidentaly flared when she was going back in,and Ly almost got lit on fire on her way out. The fairy quickly recovered and delivered an okay walk.
Ashe comes out like she owns the runway, but her walk is too overconfident. It's like shes stuck up. Serena came out owning the Runway, her Sylveon right beside her. She struck a star pose before heading back, and as Rosalina walked out... DISASTER. She fell twice, the second time nearly off the runway but an octarian caught her. She also almost took Serena down with her as they were passing eachother. After the runway, the girls were backstage again and Rosalina was curled embarassed in a corner.
Octavio spoke up-"Ladies nice work. Some of you need a lot of work.. one of you especially." He sighs a bit. "There can only be one winner and two of you were close... but one just did it better. Meggy, Rose please step forward. The duo did, and waited. "It was a hard decision... but it came down to who knew the song best so.. CONGRADULATIONS MEGGY! you can pick 4 friends to go on a shopping spree with you! it can go up to 500,000 splatcurrency!"
Meggy thought a bit and smiled. "I'll take My besties- Tari and Rose, Rosalina to cheer her up, and Serena because she almost got toppled." Octavio nods. "ohoho.. have fun girlies! and as for the rest of you cool cats? back to the house with ya.. and practice! Adios Amigos!" The girls got back into the limo heading home,while Luna personally picked up Meggy and her four chosen friends for the shopping spree.
Back at the house, Maxine was practicing as well as trying to teach Belle how to walk. As she was, Belle starts smack talking Tari during practice. "She was so uncomfortable showing skin- Maybe modeling ain't for her then." These comments pissed off Blaze, and she picked up the phone and called Tari. "You've reached tari!" She said cheerfully, and Blaze spoke-"Just thought you should know Belle is talking smack on you dearie." Tari looked LIVID. "Excuse me?! She's Wut?!" Meggy and the others noticed tari hang up her phone angerly, and Meggy asks what's wrong.
"Belle has decided to talk shit while i'm not home!! The audacity!!" Luna overhears it all, and worries what may happen later that night. The girls finish their shopping, and unload their stuff into their rooms at the house. Rosalina joins runway practice with Belle and Max, and Maxine starts helping her learn to walk.
Soon,Tari storms in angerly, and speaks-"So.. WHAT DID YOU SAY WHILE I WAS GONE, FONTIERE!!" The raised voice scared Skye and Luchia who were reading in the library. Ly even came out of her makeshift treehouse, flying through the house window. "Do i hear drama?" Even Vanessa leaves her room, and she was busy gaming. This fight has the whole house's attention. As it escalates, Agent 8/Rose yells-"Luna Mail!!" The girls rush to the table and Meggy reads it. "The Servers Are The Seven Chaos... but tomorrow? You will Guard a sacred treasure. Be ready at 6am and head through the rift to mobius! Love,Luna!" They wrre going to Mobius.. servers are the seven chaos. Meggy realized-"We're going to Angel Island!!" The girls head to bed for the night, the tension between Tari and Belle still very much unsolved.
At Angel Island the next morning, Luna stood beside Knuckles and the Octarian Tartar was there as well. "Welcome to angel island ladies- This is Knuckles.. guardian of the master emerald. However- today it's you girls who will be Guardians. We will dress you up like members of the knuckles clan, and you will give your best master emerald guardian pose. Good luck! to hair and make up with you!"
The girls headed to hair and make up, and were in outfits similar to what tikal wore. Tari went first, and posed with some chao, looking like Tikal. Tartar spoke up-"You remembered that Knuckles was not the only guardian of the Master Emerald... nice work, Tari." Next was Belle, who looked like she wanted to tackle Tari. Her anger and rage translated on film, and the photo came off way too mean. Skye was ready to duel a thief, her dueldisk activated. Tartar comnents that holographic monsters wouldn't protect the emerald.
Ashe walks up, B.O.B Beside her, Viper cocked leaning agsinst the emerald. Her photo shows a vicious look in the eyes- Just try and take this Emerald.Luna claps, and Tartar nods at Ashe. Max is next, and she twirls steves bat with an unsettling glare of try it and your done. Luchia gives cute mermaid ready to sing to make a thief back down, and Knuckles facepalms. Serena walks up and has her pokeball in battle stance, Sylveon looking menacing at her side as if it's waiting for serenas callout to attack. Luna says its very cool. Vanessas photo is her with a knife and crazy eyes like-"Try to steal and you will end up added to my bodycount!" it scared everyone, even the girls who hadn't gone yet. Ly goes next, and grabs a chaos emerald looking like she's going to chaos blast a thief away. Meggy and Rose both are in splatoon battle stances, but meggys eyes say come closer and your dead. Luna notes it was a bold decision to do a duo shot. Last was Rosalina, and she looked ready to bring the wrath of the cosmos down on an emerald thief. Tartar nodded-"That's it! thank you girls!" The girls headed back to the house again.
Back home, Marina is visiting Rose and Meggy when they hear yelling downstairs, and sudddnly hear hitying.Luchia runs in petrified-"BELLE AND TARI! DOWNSTAIRS!! FIST FIGHT!!" Marina quickly jumps up. "Stay here girls!" She heads down to see how bad it is.Skye and Ashe are just stunned in the corner, ashe mid smoke.Max and Blaze are just not sure what happened, and Ly and Rosalina are peaking in from the window.
Marina sighs-"Ashe may i l?" Ashe nods. "B.O.B! BREAK IT UP!" Marina says, and the omnic breaks the fight up and the duo gulp seeing Marina. It's also obvious belle started it, as Belle seems to have less marks on her. "I will be bringing your behavior up to Luna and the other judges, Belle. The rest of you have a good night! I'll see you two later Meggy and Rose!" She leaves the house dissappointed as Rosalina speaks-"Luna Mail!" Meggy reads it-"Tomorrow you will meet with the jidges.. only Twelve will continue on in the competition... love, Luna." The girls head to bed, not quite sure who could be going home
Panel The Next Day-
The girls walk into judging, and see Luna looking very dissapointed. The girls know why she's probably upset.She speaks-"Hello Ladies. .. Rough first week wasn't it." The girls nod weakly. "Welcome to judging.. now before i introduce yoir judges let me remind you of what you'll win... The girl who wins will recieve a 4 year contract with multiversal Model Managment, a cover and 6 page spread in Inkopolis Magazine, a 100,000 dollar contract with Mystical Cosmetics, and a picture in the top model hall of fame." The girls all clap.
"You know your judges of course- Lovely Idol and 1 half of off the hook, Marina Ida.." The girls clapped again. "Your runway coach who has the drop, DJ WASA-B OCTAVIO!" More cheers- "Your lovely photographer T-Vax Kamobo.." Crickets. "And this weeks guest judge- Knuckles the Echidna!" A roar of applause. "Now.. before we start- you might've noticed I don't look impressed.... and it's because last night after photoshoots, i heard something happened in the top model house.." The girls are quiet now.
"This morning..Marina told me she had to use B.O.B To break up a fight last night between two models.. Tari. . Belle.. that's the second fight this week. Don't let me catch you fighting in frount of judges ever again.... now let's start evaluations... and Meggy? Your first." Eventually, the judges went over everyones photo's and dismissed the girls out to deliberate. Judges feel like Blaze's fire could become a problem, Belle is a firecracker, and Luchia can't grow beyond pretty mermaid. Soon, the girls are brought back in.
"I have 13 beautiful girls in frount of me but only twelve photos in my hands.. the first name i'm going to call has best photo this week and is safe next week.. Ashe! Congradulations! You are safe next week. Runner up for best photo? Is a toe- Meggy, Rose congradulations. Your both still in the running. Next is Vanessa, Maxine, Ly, Skye, Serena, and Blaze . Next name is..Luchia. You need to grow beyond pretty.. Tari- You need some co fidence girl.. Will Belle and Rosalina please step forward. Belle- You started two fights, failed runway and were a jerk on photoshoot set.The judges feel you are only here to fuck with Tari... Rosalina?Your runway was an ABSOLUTE disaster. You nearly took Serena out, and fell twice.However we see potential to grow in one of you. I only have one photo.. and that photo is... " theres a long pause, and Luba reveals it. "Rosalina. Don't let me see a trainwreck runway like that again.. congradulations. You're still in the running to become Fandom's next top model." Rosalina took her photo and cried. "I promise. i'll practice my walk so it doesn't happen again!" she joins the other girls.
"Thank you Belle.. but this contest is not a place to fight a grudge.." Belle leaves quoetly growling once she gets back to the house, furiously packing. "I could've had taris head. Whatever. She won't win or make it far.. then i can laugh at her. Later losers!"
Sneak Peak of Week 2- It'smajeover week and there are cheers, tears, and fists flying. Also a mermaid photoshoot has Rose worried as she is still an Octoling. All this and more next time on Fandom's Next Top Model.
