Chapter Text
“I don't wanna go.”
Optimus mumbled, still scratching something on a datapad, his chair creaking as he leaned forward, avoiding optical contact with his friends. Perhaps he hoped if he looked busy enough, they would go away.
But they didn't.
“You're no fun ! It literally just got opened to the public, it's history, you love that !” Elita stated, slamming a servo on a pile of data pads, the clank of something cracking making Optimus glance at her with annoyance.
“But you're not going there for the history side of it.” He slowly took off his glasses, turning his office chair around slowly, looking as bored and serious as ever.
“You want to go there because it's apparently haunted.” He declared, shifting his digital pen between his digits, not moving an inch from his seat.
A loud scoff and a slap on his servos, making the pen fall on the ground announced that Sentinel had something to say. And of course he did…
“So what ? It's fun, and you stay inside your stupid apartment 24/7 you nerd.” The blue and obnoxious bot straightened up, taking great pleasure into being above Optimus, even in basic situations like these.
“You're lucky we even thought of you to come with us to begin with.” He added, crossing his arms with the same shit eating grin Optimus wish he could punch away.
“... well there's my question now, if it's such a bother, why even ask me ?” He raised a brow, genuinely getting frustrated by this ambush he didn't ask for.
“Because we still like to spend time with you…” Elita said, grabbing his face in the ‘too much cuteness’ hold she often grabbed him with. He could never escape that one.
But Optimus thought for a second. It's true they did think of asking him and it made no sense when he knows Sentinel would take immense pleasure in getting to a scary, abandoned place alone with the lovable Elita one.
“The truth.” he sighed, pushing Elita away gently.
“It is !” She said with a tone, taking his suspicion badly. But Optimus didn't budge, only arching a brow, annoyance still radiating off of him.
Elita could only yield, sighing.
“But hum… the place is still kinda off limits to the public… only those in the academy with an Archive pass can get in.” Elita sheepishly said, knowing omitting a part of the truth wouldn't work on Optimus.
Right. An archive pass, the one you can only get if you've taken the right classes. And of course Optimus was the only one with enough patience to have attended the classes, which Elita and Sentinel found absolutely boring. He wanted to get angry at them for using him in such a stupid way, but the fact the place was limited to the Archivists was… interesting. It meant the history of the place was yet to be completely unveiled and that…. That was interesting. Useful even. He still had that essay to write-
“So ?!...” Sentinel almost yelled, getting Optimus abruptly out of his thought process. He grumbled, glaring at Sentinel who just looked annoyed.
“...fine.” he said reluctantly, watching as Sentinel's shit ass grin reappeared on his stupid face, and Elita's optics brightened in delight at the news.
“Then it's a date ! Don't be late !” Elita grinned, Sentinel and her exiting his apartment as quickly as they came.
“... yay” he hummed to himself, almost regretting his decision.
When they arrived at the hotel Elita got for them, Optimus with all his luggage felt rather invigorated by the fresh air and the nice warmth the sun projected on them. They got to their rooms, Elita as the smart bot she was, got herself a private room and put Sentinel and him together in the second one. He couldn't say he was thrilled by the arrangement but it's not like any of them were really here to get sleep since, as he saw from the window, the rooms were in almost direct contact with the manor's gardens, and he knew why. Well, at least he would have the day to get to learn about the place, and he could let his friends have a bit of fun during the night. They were still in the academy, and he knew he couldn't always be the grumpy A+ student. He had one life, and they do say those years would be the best of his life.
He smiled, putting his luggage down, arranging the bed accordingly so Sentinel would at least know on which side Optimus slept… not that Optimus was 100 percent sure the slagger would even step in the room to recharge. Not with Elita in the adjacent bedroom…
“I got us really nice rooms didn't i ?” Elita smirked, patting Optimus's shoulder with unnecessary pride on her face.
“Plus since it's only the first floor we can really explore this spooky manor when tonight comes..” she added, pure excitement and impatience in her tone.
“So what are you two going to do during the day ?” Optimus asked, knowing the history of the manor wasn't interesting to them in the slightest.
“We’re gonna explore the manor to be sure not to get lost tonight, and after that we'll get a few drinks.” Sentinel answered, looking at the spacious garden by the window.
Smart Optimus thought, a rare occurrence when it came to Sentinel.
“Fine… I'll be there doing well… whatever. The manor seems nice to study.” Optimus said, kneeling down to get a few datapads from his luggage. He ignored the snickering and the pressed footsteps going quickly towards the door. After the slam of a door and the newfound silence, Optimus let out a small sigh escape from his intakes, but smiled right after.
Alright, me,myself And I, just as I like it.
As Optimus made himself comfortable, he started reading a datapad about the manor and what they discovered so far. It was pretty interesting, and Optimus got lost into his reading rather rapidly. So much so he almost didn't notice the strange light that shone through the window and into his optics, a strange glimmer that made him put down the datapad for a bit. Annoyed but curious, he opened the window, thinking he would find Sentinel or Elita trying to mess with him but to his surprise nothing was there.
Strange… Optimus thought, as he glanced around trying to find that blue or green paint he was so used to, and stopped suddenly as a light refracted against his glasses, his attention snapping to a part of the ancient garden wall that stood a bit farther. Lodged inside a small crack was a ring, something delicate Optimus was scared to break as he gently grabbed it. Perhaps the people that rented this room before them forgot it ? He glanced around, and put the jewel in his subspace to review later.
His datapad was waiting for him afterall.
.
.
.
Optimus shifted on the desk, opening his optics as he blinked himself awake.
Since when had he fallen into recharge ? He usually loved reading datapads until the sun set. He groaned and slowly but surely sat back up. Perhaps the voyage exhausted him more than he thought . With those 2 around his mental battery emptied so easily.
He glanced at the huge window in front of him. The sun is still up even if it's starting to set, He smiled, relieved. He really wanted to know everything he could about the manor before going there and investigating himself.
Almost daydreaming again he only noticed the tall, spiky figure in the manor garden staring at him when it shifted its bulk towards him. This instantly made Optimus make optical contact with the stranger.
A gardener ? He guessed before instantly dismissing the thought. That mech looked regal. Almost ancient. And Optimus felt his whole body, from pede to helm freeze as that intense red glare consumed him.
A… an actor ? He bit his derma, that thought feeling more realistic.
Yeah it was probably an actor, or someone doing a photoshoot and taking a break ? The way his spark was pounding into his chest for some unknown reason made Optimus suddenly feel uneasy.
The chair crissed as Optimus leaned towards the window, still eyeing that tall warframe. He put a servo up and greeted the mech, hoping to ease that inspecting glare.
The tension changed almost instantly as that gaze softened, optics widening faintly but enough for Optimus to see the change, and the bot murmured something Optimus could not decipher.
The giant mech started to approach Optimus with urgency, a sort of desperate flicker in his optics.
And Optimus flinched hard. He got up suddenly, and fled through the room, slamming the door behind him. He was not about to be beaten to an inch of his life for greeting someone ! That mech was far too imposing and Optimus was only a student trying to pass his midterms. A black optic was not needed right now, he needs both of them to read his datapads.
As he strode through the hallways of the private hotel, his fear started to subside, and his pace finally slowed to one a bot passing beside him would not glance twice to see. Maybe he was acting a bit psychotic with this… but it's a secret to no one that Optimus hardly felt comfortable in unknown places. Anxiety has an easier grip on him during trips, and home was just so much better ! No distractions, just him and his datapads and the history of his world and beyond.
He exvented and finally came to a stop at the cafeteria of the place, already crowded with bots wanting to get dinner. Spacious, he thought as he looked around, and faintly smiled as he noticed some familiar faces chatting away.
“Jazz !” He smiled and greeted with a handshake that the visored mech accepted eagerly, as surprised as Optimus to see each other.
“Optimus ! I didn't think I would see you here ! I mean… I know you love history and stuff but you usually like it better from your home.” Jazz flashed a winning smile, patting Optimus's shoulder amically. Optimus almost scoffed but couldn't really argue with the ninja.
“Yeah… Well, Elita and Sentinel wanted to come here so I joined. I guess the place is more interesting up close.” He said, while knowing he did not in fact try and see much of the place in question during the day.
“Yeah ?” Jazz tilted his helm, brightening up.
“Did you go see the dining room ? Or the Master bedroom ? They're so well crafted researchers are trying to analyze how it could have been made by servo !” He held his chin, probably reimagining the place.
“Well… no, I haven't really been hum… inside yet.” he chuckled awkwardly, rubbing his fingers together.
This made Jazz chuckle, and Optimus could almost see him roll his optics behind that visor in fondness.
“Of course… Well, let me guide you a bit ! I know you prefer familiar company, and I'm guessing E and S aren't really interested in the history of this place” he smirked.
Jazz really was a clever bot… Optimus envied that. His friends would benefit from being a bit more clever in fact. He smiled more genuinely and nodded at the invitation. After all, this place was full of mysteries…
As they walked around, they found few people actually studying the place. Perhaps the fact it was evening had something to do with it… The bots that remained though, Optimus recognized as students from his class, and some he believed to be actual researchers. And some, well, looked a bit out of place.
“Do you think the ghost shows up anywhere ?” One of the bot said with excitement before being shushed by his peers. Glances were thrown their way, some curious, some annoyed, and Optimus finally understood why they didn't fit with the rest. He rolled his optics and continued to stare at the huge painting on the wall he was currently studying. He scribbled on his datapad about how he did not in fact understand the innuendo of the painting and that art in general wasn't really his thing. But he could still appreciate it. The bot painted on, while being covered in silk and other beautiful fabric, had his face covered. Sitting on a throne like chair, treasures veiled the room he was sitting in. Optimus at the very least appreciated the details. The painter must've worked hard on it. He thought, a solemn expression on his face.
“You like it ?” Jazz said quietly, interrupting his thought process.
“Oh yes, it's a very beautifully detailed painting” he hummed, twirling the digital pen in his fingers.
“And what do you think it means ?” Jazz asked again, his visor fixed on the painting.
Optimus glanced at his friend and at the painting again, leaving a moment of silent reflection between them.
“I… don't know. I've never been very artistic and philosophical. “ he shrugged, but his gaze was fixed on the masked face of the stranger on the wall.
“So what ? You don't need to be a philosopher to have an opinion, Optimus.” Jazz chuckled, patting his friend's pauldron. It made Optimus stop for a bit, to actually try and get a meaning out of this painting.
“I guess it… feels as if the bot is part of the treasures ?” He started, shifting his glasses back correctly. He glanced at Jazz who was patiently waiting for Optimus to continue.
“But… It feels objectifying. As if the bot itself doesn't really matter.” He finished, not sure if his understanding of the painting was truly that deep.
“Mmh. Interesting point of view ! Did you know the Warlord that owned this manor painted this ? It's apparently about a bot he obsessed over and painted a thousand times. Never their face though, because he didn't want others to gaze at them. But the researchers don't know much more than this.” Jazz shrugged, taping his finger on his chin.
“Oh, that's impressive… I guess that's one of the few things we know about him then.” Optimus was surprised. So little was actually known about the count except for the fact he was well, rich and powerful, a tyrant that tried to conquer Cybertron a long, long time ago. And had apparently a lover he was obsessed with ? So much so he would paint them often, but never actually painted their face, apparently out of jealousy that others could gaze upon their beauty. Jazz knew more than him ! He really needs to finish reading those datapads.
They strolled around the mansion, Optimus dutifully taking notes of everything he found interesting, and some pictures he would look at later to get into his essay. For a few hours, both him and Jazz discussed and admired the mansion and its beautifully intriguing structure, and Optimus was actually having fun ! In the back of his helm, he remembered for a split second his friends weren't actually here with him to enjoy this, and he grumbled.
“You good OP ?” Jazz asked, a patient smile on his face.
“Yeah its just- i mean i… urgh, Elita and Sentinel aren't even here, and i feel like they just invited me to get a pass here to flirt and have fun together and… without me. And I guess I'm just disappointed. ” He mumbled at the end before his optics went wide.
“N..not about the flirting part !” he almost yelled, blushing heavily in embarrassment.
“You know what forget about this” he sighed, and couldn't help the smile growing on his face when Jazz giggled.
Optimus exvented again, calming down.
“I think I'm gonna try and find them. Thanks for being here with me by the way.” He said softly, truly grateful to have a real friend here he can talk and have fun with.
“Alright Optimus. Take care then, see you tomorrow maybe ?” Jazz offered his hand for a firm handshake that Optimus took gracefully.
“Of course.” he nodded.
“Oh by the way, before I go, do you know who the tall spiky mech in the gardens is ?”
.
.
.
It turned out Optimus may have been hallucinating his encounter with the tall mech if Jazz's reaction was anything to go by. The ninja reminded him that only those with an Archive pass and their + one could get into the mansion. A photoshoot would've been forbidden, and people would've seen such a huge bot if it was the case.
So Optimus was either going crazy or someone unauthorized sneaked into the mansion. He doesn't know if he truly hoped for the latter considering how scary the mech had seemed to be. Shaking his head, he pushed his glasses back on his face. Right now, he wanted to find his friends and spend some time with them. He thinks.
Staying alone wasn't great either anyway, not in such a huge place at least. And so he walked through the maze that was this gigantic manor that could be called a castle and took in the scenery while he retraced his steps as best as he remembered.
After 20 minutes though, he figured he must've fucked up somewhere along the way, and of course the place wasn't actually marked with signs saying where was the exit, because who would do that to such a magnificent place ? It sure would've been useful though… As he arrived in front of a gigantic and beautiful door, he approached it and took a few pictures. Framed with swirls of finely crafted metal, colors spread harmoniously along every edge and motifs making it stand out among the rest of the hallway. Hesitantly, he took a step, getting closer to the frame of this heavy door. And curiosity be damned, he touched it, feeling the smooth metal underneath his fingers. His optics brightened with fascination, because how could this have been made by servo ? So much care, so much love was poured into everything inside this building. Maybe this was why this manor stood the trial of time as if it was nothing. He marveled for a few moments, lost in thought until muttering voices snapped him back to reality. There's other people in here ? He thought, surprised.
He didn't think anyone was allowed to open any doors yet. If something was open then you could go in but if a door was closed it meant the area was heavily restricted or not even breached yet. And now he was left wondering what could be on the other side…
To his surprise he felt the door slightly budge and taken by curiosity, peeked to see who was actually in there. His spark skipped a beat.
In the grand ballroom he had now a sorta clear view of, stood two bots he could only consider gigantic and majestic. One bore wings as sharp as steel, with a sumptuous red gown and jewelry one could only consider to be a bit much. He seemed displeased somehow. The other bot conversing with him had only one optic and a royal purple plating he adorned with a simple yet elegant black cape he wore on his shoulder. They looked like they came out of a fairytale. Just like the one he saw in the garden earlier today…
He focused again on them as the more flashy one revved his engine in what optimus could only guess was frustration.
“This cannot stand ! Why do we have to hear about his highness's rambling every time of the day ? He is still chasing ghosts !”
“Hilarious, Starscream.” The other one answered in an almost monotonous tone.
“Its not, Shockwave ! The count is still talking about his precious jewel like he's still here.” The red bot, no, Starscream ? Spat out, waving his manicured servos in the air.
What in the pits were they talking about ? Who were they ?
“You know our lord grieves still, not even our cursed afterlife could change that.” The other one, Shockwave was it ? Mysteriously said.
Their cursed afterlife ? Is this a roleplay? Optimus was a bit weirded out to say the least.
“Well lets hope our mighty lord does not make us go on a manhunt for that hallucination he had in the gardens.” Starscream grunted, heel screeching as he turned around and quickly left.
The gardens… Optimus repeated in his helm, leaning ever so slightly onto the door. It screeched, something faint and almost inaudible, but somehow enough to make the one eyed bot turn his helm towards him in suspicion.
“Is someone there ?” He asked, not menacingly but with a coldness Optimus certainly didn't like.
For a split second their optics met and the antennas on Shockwave's helm twitched.
“Who are you? You seem familiar.” he asked, fully turning towards Optimus, cape flowing seamlessly on that pauldron.
And just as before, Optimus flinched, and before anything more could be said, ran away.
Optimus was trying to become an archivist. Getting head to head with someone was… not really his forte. Counting the fact he was somewhere he didn't know well, without anyone around, and big warframe cosplayers apparently roamed the manor, Optimus could not say he felt the courage to stand up for himself right about now. Logical however, oh yes he was. That's why he did not want to get involved in something he hardly understood.
Thankfully for him, Optimus somehow found the way back to the more populated area of the mansion and finally ex-vented the tension in his struts. He greeted a few researchers as he passed them, and completely ignored what just happened a few minutes ago. Not his problem anymore !
Denial is great.
As he came back into the private hotel, and into the rented room, he was surprised to actually find Elita and Sentinel chatting together while holding energon slushies. As they both noticed him, Elita smiled while Sentinel slurped his drink loudly.
“Oppy ! There you are, we were waiting for you to finalize the plan for tonight !” Elita cheerfully said, giving a slushie to the truckbot without even hesitating.
Optimus grabbed the drink before it could spill on the ground.
“Please don't call me that Elita… and what plan are you talking about ? We need a plan ?” He frowned, already feeling a helm-ache coming to him. He put down his datapad, and sipped a bit of the drink they offered him.
“Well yeah ! There's probably guards and stuff… we have to know where the main areas are ! You know… the places where we could actually manage to find ghosts !” She said excitedly, her face brightening with each moment. Optimus glanced at Sentinel, but he truly didn't know why when all of this was probably his idea in the first place. Oddly enough, they waited for his answer, for him to relent and say ‘alright’ because they knew that without him they would get lost and apprehended too easily. Primus, he was such a people pleaser.
“Fine. Let's review this.”
.
.
.
As the night came around and the two moons lit up the sky fully, Optimus sat on the chair close to the desk while his friends snickered and tried to spook each other about what they could find during their escapade. Optimus only looked outside, at the garden overflowing with cyberlight bugs floating around. It looked so calm and quiet, but with what he saw today, he didn't know if he felt excited like his friends. No, he felt skeptical. Because if he looked too much into what happened, he would have had more questions than answers.
A shake of his pauldron snapped him out of his anxious rambling, and when he turned, Sentinel looked at him with that stupid smile of his.
“Ready ?” The blue bot asked, smacking his back with too much strength.
“S..sure.” Optimus grumbled, already feeling annoyed.
“Then let's go !” Elita cheered on, already opening the window to get to the garden.
“Remember the plan !” Sentinel said as he jumped first, landing heavily behind the freshly cut bush that separated the hotel from the garden. He then disappeared in it, leaving a sort of hole in his way. Elita followed, jumping swiftly and passing the rough bushes more easily since Sentinel left his mark. Optimus jumped and followed without a sound, only glancing around to see if anyone would perhaps see them and make this stupid idea stop entirely. Or if one of the weird mechs he saw before would be standing there.
But no one was. Running like sparklings doing something they shouldn't do through the flowery garden, the 3 musketeers they were easily passed the flimsy security put in place. Apparently the guards did not actually guard the garden but only the main entrances. This would be too easy, to the delight of his friends of course, but not for him. He bit back a grunt and all 3 of them slipped into the moonlit manor.
It was eerily quiet in there. The only thing you could truly hear was the distant sound of the hotel and the old walls sometimes creaking with the wind. Optimus was in no way a coward, he wasn't ! But the atmosphere in here felt wrong somehow. Thankfully for once his friends were distracting enough for Optimus to not dwell on that feeling. Sentinel was again the first to make a move. The brazen bot walked in the main hall like nothing could scare him, and flashed a dim flashlight to see the luxurious room better.
“Wow it feels even bigger during the night !” Elita shout-whispered as she looked in the direction of the flashlight, getting closer to the blue and gold bot to his delight.
“It sure is, and with that atmosphere I'm sure we'll find something spooky to film soon enough !” Sentinel said smugly, a snobbish chuckle escaping his voicebox.
Optimus, rolling his optics, only followed quietly, letting his friends search and open doors he wasn't even sure they were allowed to open. But well, being here was already illegal…
For a while nothing of consequence really happened, the manor was actually gigantic, and even more so as it was built to fit warframes first and foremost therefore their ghostly search was becoming more and more boring by the minute.
In the silence Elita yawned and Optimus barely resisted the urge to do the same. Only Sentinel still seemed determined to find something, yet Optimus believed he was only doing this so he could spook Elita into running into his arms.
Wait, am I the 3rd wheel here?-
He only had the time to finish his thought before a giant door slammed open, making all 3 of them jump and squeal in fear.
They froze where they stood, sparks pulsing intensely in their casing.
Optimus heard the distinctive sound of a spear getting drawn out of its casing and glanced at Sentinel in disbelief.
“What the ?! Get rid of it, what if it's a guard-” he almost yelled but stopped right in his tracks as a dark and gigantic shadow stepped out of the doorway. Mouth gaping, Optimus's focus was now entirely on the dark and somewhat familiar shadow standing a few meters from them.
Condensation started to drip on his plating as his spark flared with anguish, but the most shocking part wasn't the ghost in front of them, but the reaction both his friends gave next.
“Oh, well I guess it was just the wind ? Elita said, almost disappointed as she straightened up. Sentinel only hummed as he put his spear back in his subspace, fear already dismissed from his frame.
Can they not see it ?? He thought, processor already glitching as his frame started his fight or flight protocols. He kept his optics on his friends, hoping that whatever he was seeing was simply a nightmare, a figment of his imagination.
“Well let's get inside ! That door opened for us I'm sure~” Sentinel smirked, leading the way towards that figure, a figure Optimus started to recognize the more they approached it.
“Already scared Oppy ?” Elita giggled, taping his sides, trying to cheer him up. Optimus let out a small squeak that quickly turned into a cough and a blush as his friends laughed.
He grumbled, but said nothing more. After all, he was currently focused on ignoring the two red optics following him around as they walked up the stairs to get through that door… and far too close to the creature. But Optimus endured. He acted as nonchalantly as possible to avoid driving attention to himself. Maybe he was crazy, maybe it was his imagination, but until it was gone, there was no point in guessing. The safer strategy was to ignore it ! Yep.
He almost ex-vented in relief when the creature disappeared for a second. But even in his frightened state, Optimus couldn't help but feel like the figure was familiar, he just needed to think of where he saw it before…
Sentinel opened the door fully, revealing a long hallway filled with covered up painting. The dust creeping everywhere was a sign that this location had not been touched by the scientists and researchers. We're so screwed if someone finds us. Optimus briefly thought, glancing around to see if the ghost-like figure would reappear. But after a few minutes, the tension in his struts eased a bit, and he let himself be distracted by his friends trying to get the drapes off of one painting, curiosity making them act recklessly.
“Come on, it's so big… if i could just put both my servos there…” Sentinel grumbled, and Elita snorted.
“Thats what she said !” and burst out in laughter as the flabbergasted Sentinel was slammed by the enormous cover falling on him. Just as Elita began to help Sentinel get undrapped, Optimus glanced up at the painting that was now in clear view in front of them. And it made Optimus's spark skip a beat. On it was a beautifully painted mech who adorned luxurious clothes and jewels, and a polished grey armor Optimus could not forget.
Its the mech. Optimus realized, as his optics went wide.
Those red optics, that stature… its him ! The mech in the gardens !
Optimus took a step back in disbelief and tripped as those red optics flared, and the picture came alive.
That sharp plating stirred, and the count himself came out of the painting, those elegant shoulders straightening up as he put a pede on the ground. The mech cracked his joints as if the whole ordeal was simply inconvenient, and when he sighed in relief his optics opened again slowly, locked on Optimus and Optimus alone.
And optimus was on his aft, feeling like he was about to faint from the shock. Not even his friends giggling on the side could distract him this time. No, nothing could make him look away, as if something within him forced him to look, to feel that overwhelming feeling of…of… fear ? Dread ?... hope ?
Wait, hope ? his processor glitched for a moment, confusing him.
“Orion…” a beautiful deep voice echoed, and Optimus's spark skipped a beat. His optics were locked, his frame frozen by that melodious voice.
“It's you my Orion, isn't it ?” The count whispered, melancholy dripping from his words.
He approached, that long and dark cape floating in the air as he did. Stopping in front of Optimus with that wistful look in his optics, the Count slowly crouched to meet Optimus at head level and carefully approached his large servo to take off the glasses Optimus wore, as if to make sure of his identity.
“Who… are you ?” Optimus could only say, mouth agape in shock, that beautiful face he usually hid behind glasses now uncovered for the world to see. For the Count to stare at longingly.
“Do you not recognize your beloved ?” The Count softly asked, his giant frame moving to encompass Optimus's own.
But when that servo approached a second time, Optimus's fight or flight kicked in, and rationality was thrown out the window. He scrambled to get on his pedes and ran away, Elita calling after him in confusion.
But Optimus was not listening. He glanced back once only to see the count getting up carefully and those red optics following his every movement with precision.
He needed to get out. Something in his spark felt wrong and overwhelming. A mix of feelings he did not know why he was feeling.
He just needed to find the exit !!
.
.
.
Optimus was lost again. After a while of running aimlessly but away from the danger, he managed to reset his protocols which made his HUD filled with red pop ups he did not care about right now. However every time he thought he was getting closer to the exit, he opened a door to a room he did not know. Bedrooms, living rooms, even a kitchen. But not the exit. Not even stairs ! This manor was confusing him and he was starting to feel like it was on purpose.
He needed to focus. This was unlike him.
He crouched down on the floor and grabbed his head, massaging the soft protoform of his face. Soothing, it made him take deeper vents, finally calming his spark. After a while, he decided to get up and find a place he could hide while researching through his database for any information that could help him understand the situation and maybe find an exit quickly. He came to the next closest door and opened it to find a sumptuous and enormous bathroom. The washracks were elegant and if he hid in the corner, no one, not even ghosts would think to find him here. This was perfect. And so it's what he did.
Now that he was settled on the floor, close to a shower head, he zoned out to concentrate on going through his processor. Anything related to the ghosts people seemed to have also noticed would be in forums and a few datapads he read. For a few minutes, in the quiet of the ancient place, Optimus searched for answers. To his surprise, he found more than he thought he would.
Shadows walking through the hallways, or lights in the spacious gardens at night. Bots all over the forums seemed to believe it to be real, some even saying they heard the deep and melodious voice of a mech. And Optimus almost got chills at how similar his experience was. But his was somewhat more… truly lived. He saw the mech, and it touched him.
“I already miss my glasses” he whispered and sighed.
And somehow his friends did not even see that mech. So the logical yet illogical conclusion was that Optimus was seeing real mechs. Perhaps the lost allspark had something to do with this ? He guessed, and slouched on the wall, practically ignorant to the fact the room was getting hotter, almost steamy.
But then why aren't other bots affected by these… visions ? Or maybe it was real ??
His processor was frying with all the unanswered questions. He popped his fans as the temperature got hotter, steam making a fog cloud all around him.
I need to find my friends again. He resigned himself, standing up quickly, filled with purpose. But as he glanced around and saw nothing in the obscurity of the room, he reset his optics in confusion. Was this room always so … foggy ?
“There you are…” that deep voice echoed in the room, and before Optimus could panic or even see the mech, a heavy servo slammed him face first against the tiled wall, making the shower head burst water all around.
“Agh !” His vocalizer glitched. He struggled against the wall, his finials flicking back in fear. Strong digits blocked his view, and the hot solvent that was dripping down on him only made his sharp senses dull.
He felt a servo squeeze his thighs, his aft and every part it could touch, as if the mech behind him was measuring him, testing the goods.
“Let me go ! Let me go !” Optimus shouted, trying to claw at the mech behind him.
“I don't know you !” He hissed, but yelped as that free servo came to firmly grip him on the waist.
“Nonsense… I've been waiting for you for eons my love.” That purring engine made Optimus's entire frame tremble against his will. He stilled his movements, venting rapidly.
That firm servo then began to stroke his side, and Optimus bit his derma trying to silence whimpers he did not want getting out.
“ Relax your frame… I'll remind you of me, of how much your spark sings for me. Just as mine cries for you…” the Count said, curling up against Optimus, pushing him even more against the wall. Now with both servos free, the Count started stroking around the transformation seams of every part of his armor, making Optimus shiver in wrongful delight at the pleasure blossoming inside of him. Those servos moved as if they knew his frame by spark, digits caressing and grazing his more sensitive protoform as if they knew everything about his frame, and Optimus couldn't help the way his plating followed after each stroke with need.
“Yes, just like that Orion…” the count whispered approvingly in his audials, already grinding his frame against Optimus's own.
“I'm… not gh ! Orion…” Optimus panted, trying in vain to get his body to obey him.
He did not want this ! He didn't… he … no …

His processor started to get fuzzy as kisses landed on his audials, making his finials vibrate. He felt himself melt into the embrace more and more, and the curved up dermas of his assailant starting to kiss lower and lower, on his neck, licking and gently biting every cable, every protoform they could find.
Optimus felt his head bump against the shoulder plate of the count, babbling a few incoherent negations as the other servo stroked his belly plates, feeling the armor and protoform move under the digits.
A slow whine burst out of his vocalizer making the taller mech chuckle in delight.
“You are still the same my Orion… so sensitive …” he growled, his servo sliding lower and lower, grinding against Optimus's own panels. His vents hitched, optics opening wider as the ghost behind him scratched the seams trying to pry it open.
Reason finally getting back to him, Optimus shook his helm and gritted his denta. With his slender frame, he managed to slip out of the strong grip around him. He slid between the counts legs trying to get away but the metal around him suddenly squeezed him as those powerful thighs closed on his sides, making Optimus struggle to get out like a cybercat.
He blushed hard, feeling almost humiliated by how easily he got himself trapped again. But his shame was short lived as that engine rumbled again and those servos started squeezing his aft, making Optimus gasp at the sensitive touch. His own smaller servos grasped the metal around him, and only when he heard the approving hum of the count did he realize he was currently squeezing his thighs, which made him jerk his arms away, and slip a bit more into a diagonal position, aft up for the taking. Wiggling his legs in a panic, he couldn't help the sounds escaping his mouth as those big and strong servos massaged his slender thighs, trying to soothe him. And oh, if Optimus had one weakness…
He moaned as he twisted his own face in his servos from how good this felt.
When the touches faltered, as if surprised, Optimus blinked trying to understand why they stopped.
“Oh… just like that?” That deep voice echoed, an amused and appreciative tone in it.
“Wh…what ?..” Optimus said, trying to wipe the drool of his face.
Only when a digit started grinding into the soft heat of his plush valve did he understand what the warlord meant. His own panel opened to the mech like doors to the graal, like a needy, desperate bot ! Optimus would be livid if the soft strokes of thick digits weren't making him feel like he joined the allspark and was floating around in a cloud of pure bliss.
Am I that touch starved ?.. he could almost laugh knowing the answer.
“So needy, did you miss me as much as I missed you ?… I'll be gentle.”
He purred affectionately, and Optimus hated himself for the fuzziness blooming in his spark because of those words.
“I.. I think you're delusional” he growled without much conviction, and suddenly whimpered as a large digit sunk into his valve, slowly splitting his calipers until it was knuckle deep. His legs trembled and his back arched as the digit started pumping home, eager to please, to feel, to explore his insides. Optimus's legs were shaking, his pedes barely maintaining his weight anymore so he begrudgingly relied on those thighs squeezing him, trapping him between them to keep him standing.
“St..ahhh..ppp awh !” he moaned, but glitched in overload when that digit curled into his valve, squeezing his walls with interest. The fact Optimus hadn't interfaced in so long made him feel his valve gripping, sucking that digit in greedily even with his processor fuzzy with pleasure.
He couldn't even feel the drool dripping from his mouth, or the way that servo caressed his aft soothingly.
“So much more relaxed now~” the count said with a smirk Optimus could hear in the tone of his voice. Honestly he would've argued if his limbs didn't feel like jelly, but as those legs spread enough to let him free, Optimus was surprised at how weak he felt when he fell on the wet ground, frame wobbly in afterglow.
That heavy frame then turned around, and Optimus could only glance up before those servos grabbed him and lifted him into those powerful arms. Those red optics were staring at him like Optimus was a lover, someone truly dear to the warlord's spark.
He felt his own spark tingle in an emotion he wasn't sure he knew. Something soft, flattered. Optimus blushed and hid his face behind his servo, unable to look at the handsome warlord anymore.
“Now, now, why do you hide, my Orion ?” The Count asked, pulling him closer to his face, nudging Optimus's face, pulling away his servos so the warframe could nuzzle his face with his. He felt kisses on his cheeks, his nose, everywhere the count could reach. And that same blooming sensation in his spark grew, making it beat faster and his vents hitch in emotion.
“I…hah… I really don't know you…” Optimus's voice resonated in the washracks, with a resigned tone he couldn't hide.
The Count finally looked at him, truly looked at him, searching for a sign that Optimus who he thought was Orion recognized him. But as Optimus's blue optics showed nothing but confusion… and a certain arousal, the tall mech seemed to become upset. Those brows furrowed, the red in his optics boiled with frustration and he frowned.
“You will.” he growled menacingly, but Optimus could see the flicker of desperation hiding in his optics. However, he couldn't concentrate on it enough to really question it as those curved down dermas smacked against his own, tongue sliding inside to taste and dominate.
Optimus, trapped between those claws, could only submit and try to keep up with the warframe devouring him. Both of their frames heated up again, and Optimus felt like the warlord's own was boiling him alive with need.
“ Mwah~ ahhnnh… ah ! wait please-” Optimus breathlessly begged but only cried out when that same digit pumped mercilessly into his valve. Urgent and wanting, the sounds of his own lubricant splurging inside were diabolically erotic. He wasn't as ready as he thought when a second digit joined, splitting him wider than he ever had before and it pumped just as mercilessly as the first. He could only hold on, crying out, moaning in the pain and pleasure he felt circuiting his frame.
The count was growling like a wild cyberwolf, slamming him against the ground without stopping his digits from pushing inside, always deeper, coming back always slicker.
Squeezing his tender node was all it took for a second overload to take him, yet, instead of letting Optimus ride his overload the Warlord quickly slid out his digits to grab at his thin waist and slam his spike deep inside.
Stretching him even wider, Optimus felt every single one of the ridges of that spike slide and grow thicker and thicker until his calipers stretched to their maximum and the lubricant pooling inside him splurt on his thighs. His back arched with the rough slam, and Optimus felt so full, so, so full and boiling… his processor was probably truly glitched out now because he could make out the warlord trying to speak but all he could understand was how good those bumps felt on his calipers, and that a wobbly smile curved on his lips. His legs automatically clamped on the Count's waist to push him in deeper, to feel more of him, of this ecstasy he hadn't felt in decades, and those surprised optics looking at him turned into lustful and dangerous ones.
A servo came to clamp on his throat and Optimus noticed he couldn't care less about how his venting became harder, in fact, he welcomed the pressure as he felt utterly dominated by this fragging handsome and thick spiked mech.
He felt the first slam of the mech's pelvis like a gunshot. Quick and powerful, and absolutely ramming his insides.
Slap. “Gnh.”
Slap. “Hahh..”
Slap. “Good boy…”
Slow and steady, that mech went back and forth as if he was consuming Optimus entirely, locking optics with the bot under him.
He crouched closer without breaking his rhythm and his grunts of satisfaction and put a digit on top of those plush lips, silently asking for Optimus to open up.
And to his own surprise, Optimus obeyed almost instantly. Primus it just made so much sense to do as he was told right now.
And the count showed his fangs in a satisfied smile as he inspected Optimus's open mouth.
“Megatron.” He said, putting a digit inside to feel the soft mesh.
“Say it.” He moaned, still slamming into Optimus and cutting his train of thought each time he felt his forge sucking up the tip of the warlord's spike.
“Me- ehhah… Megahhh … tron !-” he finally managed to say, drowsy optics focused on the mech entirely.
“Yes.. very well done~” Megatron shifted his position, pushing Optimus's legs forward until both his pedes bumped next to his helm.
“Now you'll know what to scream for what's next.” he chuckled, a deep and voracious rumble coming from his engine.
Optimus could only register what the warlord said before he was faced by the reality of what was gonna happen.
Megatron slid out in one long motion, feeling the lubricant stick and drip everywhere as he did. He then pushed the tip back slightly before slamming into Optimus again.
Slam. Optimus's vents caught in his frame. Slam, slam, slam, Slam !
The pace was so brutal and with the way he was bent in two, the already huge spike was now fully breaching his forge, bulging against his belly. He cried out, so loud and so pervertedly he hoped to never remember it while sober from this ecstasy in fear of dying of mortification.
And Megatron, because apparently that was his designation, was grunting and snarling as loudly, getting lost in his own pleasure and rutting deeply into Optimus.
“Grh ! Come on now! Hha! Say it my love !” He grunted out, optics shining brightly in eagerness.
“Mehhh, anwh!! Ahh !!! Megatron ! Mhh- Megatron!!!!” Optimus screamed out, optics becoming white as overload took him for a final time and he felt thick liquid splurge down in his forge as Megatron moaned in pleasure, engine revving in approval at his display of debauchery.
Optimus's frame was twitching, drool dripping from his pleasure filled smile. The last thing he felt was a gentle servo stroking his cheek before everything went dark.
