Work Text:
Your tea had long gone cold, forgotten in your lap — your grip on the cup had tightened until the delicate porcelain clinked quietly against the saucer with every tremble of your fingers. Your chambers were dimly lit, the late evening light crawling through the screens in slow, heavy slats that striped across the tatami. Everything smelled of old incense and something acrid: fury, perhaps. Naoya stood by the door like he owned every inch of air between you, one hand resting casually against the wood as though you hadn’t just demanded an answer from him.
“You had no right,” you said, your voice low, dangerously steady. “It was my strategy.”
He exhaled — a scoff more than a sigh — and turned his head slightly as if weighing whether to grace you with a full look. “And I made it happen. Don’t act like your little suggestion over tea was ready to be brought to the clan elders.”
Suggestion. A week’s worth of silent calculations and handwritten pages. You’d waited for a rare, calm moment in your chambers to share it, dressed it up casually so his pride wouldn’t flinch. But he’d taken it and paraded it before the men in charge like a trick he’d pulled from the air.
His name was now on everyone’s lips. Yours hadn’t even been whispered.
“You knew I meant for us to work on it together,” you said, rising slowly to your feet, placing the tea down with the kind of grace only fury could hone. He finally looked at you then, eyes sharp, smile lazily curling like the blade he fancied himself to be.
“If you wanted credit,” he said, “you should’ve said so. Don’t pout because you weren’t brave enough to claim it first.”
Your composure cracked at the edges, trembling like lacquerware about to shatter. “Claim it?” you echoed. “It was mine.”
He shrugged. “A woman’s plan doesn’t mean much unless a man gives it shape. That’s just how things work.”
You laughed — cold, brittle. “So that’s your admittance?”
His gaze held yours. “Yes.”
It was like something inside you caved and twisted all at once. You were no longer reaching for understanding — that thread had snapped. You stepped forward slowly, each footfall measured, deliberate, until you were standing close enough to see the glint of smugness in his eyes, the faint twitch in the muscle at his jaw.
“Say it again,” you said. “Say what you just said.”
Naoya’s smile widened, wolfish. “A woman wouldn’t have been able to execute it properly anyway. You should be grateful I even—”
You shoved him.
It wasn’t graceful or rehearsed, neither womanly or polite. It was all the bottled-up rage finally allowed to breathe. Your palms met his chest and you pushed, hard enough that he stumbled back gracelessly — arms flailing slightly before he hit the tatami with a dull, undignified thud.
He blinked up at you, stunned. You stood over him, chest heaving, blood in your mouth. You were not a wife in that moment, nor a woman trained in obedience. You were fury and betrayal made flesh.
You moved to plant your foot on his stomach, to keep him there like the dog he was — but he shifted just slightly as you moved, and the heel of your foot came down elsewhere. A strained grunt broke through his lips. Not pain — not really. His body jolted under yours, hips twitching in a way that turned your stomach with disgust.
You froze, eyes narrowing, foot still pressed into the bulge forming beneath the fine fabric of his robes.
“…are you serious?” you spat.
Naoya’s lips parted — breathless. Not in agony, not even in anger. There was color blooming in his cheeks, his lashes fluttering with some perverse restraint. Yet he didn’t move. He didn’t shove your leg away. He didn't even stand. He could’ve — he was trained, quick, stronger than you — but no. He stayed there.
Your foot pressed harder, and his stomach tightened, eyes lidded in a strange kind of bliss, like he was worshipping the moment, like your fury made him feel chosen.
“You pathetic, sick little man,” you said, voice sharp as glass. “You crawl around the feet of men who couldn’t count past ten, and now you’re panting under mine.”
His hands fisted the fabric of his robes at his sides — not in rebellion, not in preparation to rise, but in restraint. Still, he made no move to stop you. Just looked up at you like this was all part of the power he thought he held.
“You like this, don’t you?” you sneered, rocking your foot slightly, slow, cruel. “A woman standing on your dick while you lie there pretending it’s all beneath you.” He made a strangled noise — half protest, half arousal.
“You want to prove women can’t execute?” you murmured, venom slick on your tongue. “Then why are you leaking through silk because I did exactly that?” His breath hitched as you pressed harder.
“Maybe next time I’ll put it in a report and send it straight to the elders myself,” you whispered, leaning down just enough to meet his gaze. “I’m sure they’ll appreciate my execution better than yours.”
And yet, he didn’t move. Not even when your heel twisted, not even when you smiled.
Your foot was soaked.
not with sweat, not with spilt tea — but the vile, obscene slick of your husband’s arousal soaking through layers of fine robes and dampening the sole of your foot like some disgusting offering. And still, his eyes held that glint — half-defiant, half-dazed — a man too prideful to beg, but far too gone to stop you. You looked down at him — beneath you, flushed, lips parted and shining — and felt something sour rise in your throat.
And then he had the audacity to mouth, barely audible but unmistakable:
“A woman’s place is beneath the man, not beside him.”
Your world narrowed to the ringing in your ears.
Your palm cracked against his cheek, the sound splitting through the silence like a gunshot. Your wedding band cut skin, left a faint, blooming welt — and his head snapped to the side, neck straining, breath stuttering.
He didn’t scream. He didn’t curse. Instead, he laughed. A whimper of a sound, wet and breathy — soft like he was grateful for the punishment.
The bastard liked it.
Your next breath didn’t make it far — not before he grabbed the backs of your knees and pulled, yanking you down over him. You landed with a sharp gasp, legs astride his hips, robes tangled around your thighs, and then his mouth — his teeth — were on you.
He didn’t kiss you.
He bit.
His lips latched onto yours like a man trying to win, not woo. He sucked, gnawed, dragged his tongue over your teeth, licked into your mouth like it was some battlefield. You retaliated just as brutally, biting back, tasting the copper sting of blood blooming against his bottom lip. He groaned into you, deep in his chest — a ragged, choked sound like he couldn’t tell whether he wanted to fuck you or fight you.
Your hands fisted in his collar, dragging him closer, and you bit down hard enough on his lip to make him jolt — blood spilled onto your tongue, warm and bitter. He grunted, hips jerking up against yours, chasing pressure, friction, whatever fucking scrap you would give him. And still — still — he didn’t beg.
You pulled back for air, lips wet, chest heaving. He looked like sin, sprawled beneath you. Lip split, cheek blooming red from your slap, eyes unfocused and dark — and still he had the nerve to say, voice hoarse and soaked in arousal: “You’re lucky I let you sit on top of me.”
You slapped him again, this time with the back of your hand. His head snapped the other way — a thin cut blooming just beneath his eye. He hissed through his teeth, but didn’t stop grinning.
“Fuck you,” you spat, grabbing his jaw in your palm. “I’d have more respect for you if you actually wanted to be stepped on instead of hiding behind your pathetic little sexism.” He licked his split lip, tongue catching on the blood like it was dessert. “Maybe I want both.”
You slammed your hips down against his, grinding yourself harder against his crotch. “You want a woman beneath you?” you sneered. Then why do you only come when she’s above you?”
He moaned — actual, cracked moan, throat raw and open — and threw his head back with something close to religious ecstasy. Your teeth sank into his throat before he could answer, leaving marks he would have to explain in the morning; not that he’d dare. Not when he was twitching under you like a dog in heat. Your husband, the esteemed Naoya Zenin — war-bred, heir-groomed, misogynist to his last breath — whining under the heel of your foot, your mouth on his skin, your blood on his lips.
He’d never stop talking about where a woman should be. But he'd never once move to put you there.
His mouth had latched to your jaw, teeth dragging like he wanted to mark you there — and when you pulled his hair back, yanked him by the scalp, he moaned like a whore. You didn’t flinch, just looked him in the eye and tilted your head, voice like syrup laced with venom.
“If a woman’s supposed to be below a man,” you said, slow and clear, “and you’re under me… doesn’t that make you the woman, Naoya?”
For a second, he froze. Mouth open, breath caught, like you’d struck him with something worse than a slap — a concept. It rattled around his skull, echoing with every drip of cum soaking the cloth beneath him. You could see it — the panic, the disbelief, the mental gymnastics trying to twist your words into something less humiliating. His jaw worked, but no words came. So you raised your hips, let your weight off of him, and said, coolly:
“Roll over.”
He blinked at you before scoffing, some illusion of pride sparking in his glassy eyes. And that’s when your palm cut through the air and landed, hard and loud, squarely between his legs. It wasn’t gentle, it wasn’t playful. It was punishment — full-force, fingers curved up, straight through the fabric of his robes.
What came next was obscene. His whole body jolted like he'd been shocked. His legs kicked out once, thighs twitching uncontrollably, the sound he made — breathless, broken — hitched somewhere between a sob and a strangled moan.
Then heat bloomed under your palm. Wet, thick, hot.
“Fuck — fuck—” he hissed, voice crumbling, and stayed trembling as you pulled your hand back, watching the fabric darken, watching his thighs spasm and press together.
He came. From a slap.
His knees buckled. His head dropped back, eyes rolling, and when he finally looked up at you, his lashes were soaked — not just with sweat. Tears. Big, pathetic drops clinging to the corners of his eyes, rolling down cheeks still smarting red from your earlier slaps.
And yet, he still had the gall — the audacity — to hiss, “You… fucking bitch—”
“Roll over,” you snapped.
And he did. Like an animal on its last legs, Naoya turned over, cheeks flushed against the tatami, hands curling into the mat, thighs still trembling under his ruined robes. Cum leaked between his legs, sticky and warm, and the robe clung to the mess, outlining him like a warning. He was panting, shallow and fast, hips twitching with aftershocks. He buried his face in the crook of his elbow and groaned — not in pain. Not entirely.
“F-fuck, what the fuck is wrong with you—” he whimpered, voice muffled, “Who the fuck slaps a man there — who does that—”
You knelt beside him, watching his back rise and fall in ragged waves. “Zenin women,” you said plainly, “because apparently we’re stronger than our men.”
“Shut the fuck up,” he mumbled into the floor, voice cracking.
“You loved it.”
“I hated it—” he barked, and then hiccupped on a sob, curling tighter in on himself. “I fucking came. I came like a fucking maid.”
You leaned over him, dragging your finger through the wet stain at his waist and smearing it across his back like a mark of shame. He shuddered violently. “You made me like this,” he spat, broken and breathless. “Fucking… wife. Witch.”
“What’s a Zenin if not crying under his wife’s hand?” you asked sweetly as his hips jerked again — so helplessly he almost moaned.
He was still trying to talk. That was the funniest part — the sheer persistence of it. Face smushed into the floor, breath catching on every syllable, he mumbled things he probably thought sounded threatening, but they all came out in this whiny, wrecked tone that did nothing but add to the scene.
“D-don’t touch me like that, woman, I-I’m a Zen—! Ngh, I’m a Zenin, you hear me?”
His legs were trembling and trying so hard not to spread further, but every time your finger pushed in deeper inside him, every time your palm cupped the softness of his ass, he betrayed himself — rolling his hips up, seeking more, as if his own body couldn’t stand not being touched like that.
“You were a Zenin,” you murmured mockingly, voice sweet enough to curdle milk as your nails dragged down the meat of his thigh. “Now you’re just my little housewife. My soft, wet little thing.”
He keened at that — no other word for it — a high, shuddering sound that would’ve earned anyone else a curse or a slap in the clan, but from him? It was just pathetic. Your finger curled inside him, slow and deliberate, and he bit down on a sob that twisted into a garbled string of nonsense.
“’m not — this isn’t — ngh, I said I’m not a wom—! Fuck—!”
You giggled, actually giggled, watching his fists curl tight against the wood. He sounded like a whimpering schoolgirl getting caught out after curfew, all breathy denial and shaky protests, like his pride could still shield him from how red and swollen his cock was, untouched and leaking beneath him.
“No, Naoya,” you cooed, leaning in so your breath ghosted the shell of his ear. “You said women were weak. You said wives were meant to be obedient. And yet here you are — shaking like a virgin, begging without even knowing it. All because of a finger.” He moaned again, high, wet, desperate. And you hadn’t even fucked him yet.
Somewhere between the second and third finger, he stopped speaking in full sentences. All you got was slurred muttering — a messy blend of curses and your name and confused, needy noises, as if his brain had melted somewhere along the way. You kissed the back of his shoulder gently, smiling against his skin. “Such a pretty little thing when you stop talking.”
He whimpered.
You never thought you’d see the day Naoya Zenin — sexist, arrogant, loud-mouthed Naoya — would be reduced to a mindbroken, moaning, trembling mess just from being fingered by the very woman he claimed was beneath him.
But here he was. Ruined, prettied up like a good wife. And by the time you were done with him, the only thing beneath him would be a towel to catch the mess he made all over the floor. His cum had dripped in sticky trails down the backs of his thighs, pooling beneath him, reaching your knees as you knelt behind him like some merciful executioner — only you hadn’t killed him. No, you’d done something far worse.
You’d ruined him.
Naoya Zenin, once so proud, so loud, so mouthy about ‘how a man should behave,’ had been reduced to a weeping, twitching mess, legs splayed wide like a wanton little doll, hips bucking hopelessly even after the sixth, seventh, eighth time he'd spilled all over himself. The floor was a mess — he was a mess — and you? You were barely winded.
“You… y-you’ll never get away with — with this, bitch— I’m… I’m still…”
You tilted your head. He was barely making sense now, voice cracked and raw, slurred into some pitiful wheeze as he lay sprawled on his back, eyes glassy, throat working around dry little gasps like he still had fight in him.
You laughed. Not cruelly — oh no, not even mockingly. Like he’d said something adorable. “Get away with it?” you murmured, brushing sweaty hair off his sticky cheek. “Baby, who's gonna believe you?”
His pupils twitched, throat bobbing again.
“You wanna tell the elders your wife fingered you so hard you screamed yourself hoarse? That you came without even being touched where it mattered?” you paused, thumb tracing the soft dip of his bruised, trembling inner thigh. “You really think they’ll look at you the same after hearing you moan like a little girl?”
He whimpered, but you swore he blushed.
“Besides…” you leaned in, voice low and almost tender, “…didn’t you say women are supposed to be quiet, obedient, and on their knees?”
His breath caught, face twisting in shame.
“So look at you,” you whispered, straddling him lightly, dragging your soaked fingers along his spent chest. “On your back. Ruined. Unable to speak. Just like the perfect little wife.”
And when he finally did look at you — wide-eyed, lips parted, ruined — you kissed him. Soft, slow, sweet.
Just to rub it in.
