September 2 1986
Dear friend, I’m Writing to you after my mother Joyce told me I should write about how I feel after everything that happened to me in the past few years,like getting kidnapped from a Demogorgon or that’s what my friends calls them honestly I liked how they used the DnD monster name but anyways I’m starting Sophomore tomorrow I need to straighten my self out since I’m starting Sophomore year in Hawkins instead of Lenora in California at lest I’m starting school with my friends again in Lenora the high school I used to go was a two story building and huge but Hawkins high is just a one story building it kinda small but it’s right for me,back in Lenora I used to be bullied for being queer.I’m stuck in Hawkins for a while until the apocalypse is over.My friends started a radio station Called WSQK or squawk every few days we do crawl sessions to solve the danger underneath us.Its getting later for me and I think it’s time for me to go to bed Jonathan my brother is trying to sleep on Mike’s couch and I gotta sleep on his sleeping bag,Anyways Good night friend.

As Will placed his journal under his pillow then Mike came down the stairs wearing his pajamas on-god he looked like a prince
“Hey.”said Will while getting in mike’s sleeping bag
“Hey.”Mike replied stepping down on the last step of the stairs before sitting down on the stairs
They both sat in silence awkwardly that you can hear everyone in the house snoring and moving in their sleep
“So..are you nervous about starting sophomore year in Hawkins?”mike said looking down at his mixed matched socks one yellow and the other blue and white stripes then looked back up
Will thought for a second before speaking “yeah I guess you could say that?”Will said while playing with a loose thread on his sleeve
The black haired boy glanced down once again nodding and a smirk appeared on his face “So what are you planning to wear tomorrow?”mike blurted out
Will thought for a minute before answering Mike’s question “well..i think I’m going to wear a white t-shirt with some jeans and those red converse I bought the other day.”will paused before finding his voice again ”And what about you?”asked Will
“Uhh..I think a pollo shirt and long sleeve with my khaki pants you know.”answered Mike
A few moments later Mike got up from the stairs ”so uh I think it’s time for us to get some rest you know big day tomorrow?”
“Yeah..yeah you’re right..well goodnight then.”Will told Mike
“Good night will”said Mike while climbing up the steps
Will watched Mike going up the stairs and thought for a moment before turning off the lamp next to the couch.
