Captain Levi needs to reconnect with someone he knew a long time ago. Someone from his underground days. Someone who’s name is feared amongst thugs in the underground. Someone he thought he’d never see again.
Can he convince this mysterious assassin to join them in their fight against the titans? Can they overcome their past? And most importantly, can the immense secret she keeps from everyone stay hidden from the one person she wants least to find out about it?

In this story, weaving through current times and their past, we learn more about their bond, the struggles that happened and the reasons they grew apart. All whilst trying to figure out ourselves about this mysterious ability she’s kept hidden from the world.

1. Her.

Februari 849, Survey Corps HQ in Trost District

“Come in.”

The low, calm voice traveled easily through the wooden door. As Levi opened the door, he could see Erwin standing over a map that’s laying atop the desk. Erwins looks over. His stance immediately gets slightly less formal as he sees Levi standing in the doorway. “Ah. I was looking for you. Please take a seat.” Erwin gestures towards the chair in front of the desk, as he picks up the map and puts it to the side. Levi walks on over to the wall next to the desk. He leans back against it, his arms crossed and one foot against the wall. He looks at Erwin with a stoic expression. To anyone else, it might seem intimidating, but Erwin can’t help bit smirk slightly at his stubbornness.

“Very well.” Erwin says, as he sits down behind his desk. He sighs softly. Erwin has always had a way with words. And Erwin and Levi had grown quite fond of each other. Or at least, it seemed that way to Erwin. However, not even Erwin can sway Levi if he truly wants to keep something a secret. So Erwin was thinking hard, being very careful with the words he was about to use.

“It’s been a tough year for the Survey Corps.” Erwin starts.

A slight scoff escapes Levi’s lips. “You can say that, alright.”

“And I’m afraid the tough years won’t end here.”

A slight silence fills the room, as Levi waits for Erwin to elaborate.

“We need more recruits, Levi.”

Levi’s eyebrow raised, as his gaze narrowed. “Surely you didn’t summon me here to state the obvious?”

Levi’s snarky comments never seem to get to Erwin. He seems to have gotten used to them over the years. “No. I didn’t. I asked you here to discuss a problem. And perhaps brainstorm about a possible solution.”

Levi is very aware that Erwin is a man with a plan. Always. And though often he tries to not get involved, since he knows he will get informed when he needs to be, he has a feeling he cannot get out of this one. “Just spit it out.” Levi says, a slight impatience audible in his voice.

“Ever since the fall of wall Maria, we’ve lost a lot of people. It seems to have lit a fire under a lot of people to enlist. However...”

Levi finishes the sentence Erwin was hesitant to say out loud. “However, they’re just children.”

Erwin nods. “Correct.” Ever since the fall of wall Maria, the military has had to settle for younger cadets. Whereas 15 used to be the minimum age to enlist, they now lowered it to 12, to account for the lives lost from that dreadful day 4 years ago.

Levi’s stoic expression shows just a hint of annoyance. “They might just be children, but even children can do a lot when the occasion calls for it.”

“And you know that like no one else could.” Erwin says, carefully trying not to insult Levi. He knows Levi grew up in less than ideal circumstances where he’s had to use those skills even younger in his life than the current recruits need to use them. “I’m not saying they won’t be of any use to us. They will. I just wish we had some... recruits with a little more life experience. Recruits that graduate at 18 do tend to be more strategical than recruits that graduate at 15.”

Even Levi couldn’t argue with that. He stares in Erwins general direction for a few seconds, before asking: “And what does this have to do with me?”

Erwin hesitates for a slight second, which is very unusual for him. He leans forward, his elbows leaning on the desk as he intensely looks at Levi. He almost seems to be studying Levi’s facial expression.

“Well. I was wondering if you know someone who might be able to enlist in the Survey Corps. Someone you deem capable enough to join the Survey Corps with minimal training.”

Levi is caught off guard by this question. He hesitates to answer, just for a second. But the second is long enough for Erwin to realize something. Erwin leans back in his chair, the side of his lip slightly curling up as he looks at Levi with a surprised expression. “So I was right. All those years ago. There were 4 of you. Not 3.”

Levi looks at Erwin, trying not to show any emotions to what he’s saying. Erwin is correct. It’s frustrating how he can read him so well sometimes. He had assumed that a secret kept for 5.5 years would probably be kept a secret for a lifetime. Unfortunately, the one thing he did not want to bring up here, has at last come up.

He knows there’s no denying it. So he has to make this conversation end a different way. He moves away from the wall, towards the chair opposite Erwin. He sits down and crosses one leg over the other. “I’ll play along. Let’s say I would know someone, what makes you think I’d keep this from you if it was actually a viable option?”

There’s a curiosity in Erwins eyes that Levi rarely gets to see. Erwin is a man who loves to solve mysteries. And Levi has just turned this into a mystery that he wants to unravel. Even though the curiosity is very obvious in his eyes, Erwin’s voice is still incredibly calm. “I think you could have many reasons to not tell me. And to be completely honest with you, I do not care to know them or argue over them with you. I’m here to outright tell you; we need new blood. We need people who know what to do. Who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.” A slight silence fills the room, as Erwin is trying to decide how far he wants to push Levi. “And if I’m looking for people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, you’re the first person I turn to. So please. Tell me about the 4th companion from your underground clique.”

Levi seems to be getting slightly frustrated that things aren’t going how he wants them to go. He is well aware that there is no stopping Erwin when he has a plan. Besides, Levi isn’t one to lie. Especially to Erwin. So he decides to be honest.

“I don’t think even you can convince her.”

Her?” Erwin replies, leaning forward again.

Levi lets out a soft sigh. “Yes. Her.” There’s a silence filling the room, as Erwin waits for Levi to continue talking. “Some know her as Bloodmoon. Others call her Autumn’s Nightmare. She prefers Lily. As in, Lily of the Valley. But most people know her as the Crimson Fox.”

Erwins eyes widen as he hears the last name. He perks up slightly. “Her?”.

Levi repeats one last time. His voice soft but sharp, almost sounding like a warning. “Yes. Her.”

Januari 839, The Capital in the Underground

“Calm down.”

Levi’s voice echoed through the room, completely exasperated. The harshness in his voice had finally shut her up. Still pointing at the map, she looks up at him. Her jaw slightly ajar. He has snarled at her before, but never had he raised his voice.

He manages to gain back his composure the second she finally pays attention to him.

“We can’t keep doing this.”

“We need to do this.”

“No. We don’t.” His command was absolute. “I’m not doing this anymore. You’ve pushed your body beyond it’s limit and we’re not risking it again.”

“I’m fine.” She protests.

“You’re not fine, you’re...” He does not get to finish his sentence.

“I’m fine.” She insists. “It’s been over a year. I’ve been back on my feet for a year now.” She sighs softly and walks over towards Levi. “Look. I know this has put a strain on our..” She pauses shortly to find the correct word to use. Since she can’t think of one, she uses a word she immediately regrets using. “...friendship. But we have to move past this. It’s been a year. You’ve let me do odd jobs with others in that time, but you never let me take on a job with you.”

Levi stares at her, intensely.

“And honestly, I know why. Because you and I always take on the toughest jobs. Because we know how to do it. Because we can do it.” She takes a step closer to Levi. This has been the closest they’ve been in a long time. “I need you to trust me, Levi. I’m telling you, I’m ready. And we need to stop doing petty crime, because it’s not sustainable.”

“Well maybe if you stopped taking in strays.” Levi scoffs at her, as they’ve had this conversation so many times by now.

She rolls her eyes. “They’re not strays. They’re family. Just like you and I.”

Levi never understood why she cared so much for others. It’s hard enough to care for yourself in the Underground. So whenever she made friends or acquaintances that she helped, Levi would call them strays. It was his way to try to put a distance between them and the strays, as he knew they could truly only rely on each other.

There’s a silence between the two of them, as both of them think over what has just been said. It’s not a comfortable silence, but it’s not necessarily uncomfortable either. It’s necessary.

After a long silence, there’s a soft sigh escaping Levi’s lips. “It’s absolutely infuriating how you always manage to get your way.”

A slight squeal escapes her lips as she jumps for joy. Just once. She knows Levi won’t like her excitement, so she immediately tries to hide it.

“So you’ll do it?”

Levi stares at her for a few seconds, before nodding.

“Three conditions.”

“Name them!” She says, still a little too excited about this.

“Condition one: You listen to me. No matter what I say. If I say we’re leaving, we’re leaving.”

She nods. “And number two?”

“Condition number two, this is the last thing we do for your strays.”

Her face drops. She stares at him for what feels like an eternity, but in reality has only been a few seconds. “You’re joking.”

“No. If we do this, we split the loot. And then that’s it. Then we’re done with them. They cost us more than they bring to the table.”

If looks could kill, Levi would definitely be in trouble right now. But she’s also very aware that she needs him. She can’t do this without him. And what they’re doing now, is not sustainable. “Fine.” She growls.

“Condition number three.” He continues, knowing she’ll like this one even less. “No killing.”

She looks away, biting her tongue as she rolls her eyes so hard, it almost pops a blood vessel in her eye. She looks back and replies, a voice so calm it sounds dangerous. “You’re aware they’ll come for us if we let them live, right?”

“I’ll refer back to condition one. You listen to me, no matter what I say. If I decide we need to kill them, we will. But you’re not rushing in there and killing them without thinking it through. Got it?” His voice commanding enough for her to not want to argue him.

She nods. “Fine.” She reaches out her hand, hoping to shake on it.

Levi just looks at her hand for a few seconds. He raises an eyebrow and looks up at her again. “After knowing me for 10 years, what on earth makes you think I’m the type of person to shake hands?”

She just shrugs. “Fair point.” She lowers her hand again and walks back towards the table. “Either way, you got yourself a deal. Now. Let’s go over the plan again.”

Three days had passed since they agreed on a plan. Fully equipped with an arsenal of weapons enough to make a full army question whether they’d want to engage, the two headed out towards their target.

Today’s target? A safe-house of a neighboring gang which has been trying to steal turf, making their neighborhood less safe.

She argued that a confrontational heist now would expose them to less harm in the long run. Even though the logic made sense at the time, Levi still had his doubts. Though it was harder to list reasons not to do it over reasons to do it.

As the two make their way through the shadows, steadily climbing atop buildings with unmatchable agility, they make their way down to the back entrance of the building. Both Levi and the Crimson Fox have their strengths and weaknesses. Picking locks happens to be one of her strengths. She kneels down, looking at the three different types of locks placed on the back entrance of this building, which leads into an abandoned workplace. She starts to unpack her tools from a pocket in her jacket.

As she starts picking the locks, Levi keeps watch. Though his eyebrow raises as he looks back at her for a second. In the most mocking tone, he asks her:

“Did you draw hearts on your lock picking tool?”

She just shrugs and keeps working on the locks.

“What are you, eight years old?” He says, absolutely astonished that she would do such a thing.

She shrugs again and looks back at him. “What can I say, I’m a girl who enjoys the simple pleasures in life.” She turns back to the locks and continues prying the lock.

Levi’s eyes widen slightly and he sarcastically replies.

“Right. The simple pleasures in life. Like decorating your lock picking tools with hearts right before you set out to rob a gang of criminals.”

She can’t help but chuckle at his comment. “Exactly.” A click can be heard and she removes the padlock and continues working on the other two locks.

“You’re such a brat.” He says, as he focuses back on the surroundings.

They’ve known each other for so long, she almost considers ‘brat’ to be a pet name. She playfully replies, in a soft voice.

“Takes one to know one.”

Levi doesn’t seem to appreciate the comment, as he doesn’t reply to it. Or even acknowledge it, for that matter. A few minutes pass, and she opens the last lock. She proudly turns to Levi, who has already turned around the second he heard the last click.

“You’re slower than you were before.”

Her confidence immediately wavers, though she’s trying not to show it.

“It’s been a while. That’s bound to happen when someone holds you back from doing missions.”

“Stop making excuses and let’s do this.” Levi says, as he enters the garage.

They’ve planned this out thoroughly. And so they do as they set out to do. They enter the abandoned workplace and he helps her climb into the vent that’s mounted on the ceiling. She then turns around so Levi can pass her the bag with equipment. The last step is to help Levi up into the vent, as he holds the cover so he can close the vent back up. They need to do all of this in less than ten minutes, since that’s when the guards will pass by here again. And three of those minutes have already been spent on picking the locks.

In general, neither of them like to accept help. But during missions, it’s never about asking for help. It’s about working together. So even though they’d never accept a helping hand to get into a vent outside of work, since they’re both more than capable to get the job done no matter what, during work they never comment on it and help each other without any expectation of gratitude later on.

They manage to enter the vent with 2 minutes to spare. They gracefully crawl through the vents, as they set out to do, towards where they assume the gang stashes their loot.

The Coffin Brothers. That’s what they call themselves. She couldn’t help but laugh when she heard their name first. They want to rule the Underground and that’s the best name they can come up with? She knows that names that install fear are most often not chosen. They’re given. Like the Crimson Fox. It was mysterious enough so people didn’t really know where it came for. Crimson, like the color of her bright red hair or like the color of the blood that stains the streets after she’s taken care of business? Fox, like the smart, cunning and sly animal, the playful and curious animal or like the animal that hunts rodents mercilessly?

Then again, maybe the Coffin Brothers didn’t need a scary name at all. They didn’t seem that scary to her anyway. Sure, they had weapons. And lots of them. But if you can’t hit your opponent, weapons won’t do a thing. And that’s what they were counting on.

As they slowly crawled towards the room they decided to use to exit the vent from, they made sure to pause every time they heard a noise. They did not want to draw attention to the vents, as it could mean the end of their stealthy entrance and it could ask for a more drastic approach. Which she didn’t mind, but Levi didn’t care for a messy mission today.

Of course, they had killed before. Being a thug in the underground, that’s kind of a given. However, they both respect life to some capacity. Though they have vastly different approaches to it. She values lives of innocent people more, whereas Levi values life in general. Even for people he doesn’t respect.

Though, deep down, she knew he valued her life more than others. Or at least, that’s what she chooses to believe.

They finally get to the vent in the storage closet. She moves past it, so Levi can remove the vent cover and they can get out. Levi moves out first. Then she hands him the bag of supplies. Lastly she climbs out of the vent as Levi is keeping his ear against the door.

“Coast is clear.” He says, as he walks over to the duffle bag full of supplies. Levi is a simple man, who prefers his daggers over anything. Neatly polished, shining as if it’s the first time he’s using them. Handles you’d swear were new, if it weren’t for the slight imprint of his fingertips in them.

Weirdly enough, he’s not as attached to them as you’d assume. She remembers a time where one of his knives was lost. Since he’d been taking such good care of them for years, she assumed he would be upset about it. She knew she would be if that happened to her. Hell, she even cried when she lost a rock she’d been carrying around for a while once. Granted, she was 8 at the time, but still. But Levi, no. He was just practical. He immediately grabbed another knife and that was that. No tears. No frown. Not even any change in his expression at all.

Though that’s how he always holds himself. No emotions. Though, if you look close, his eyes sometimes give away how he feels. Like they are doing right now.

As he grabs his daggers and she grabs her daggers, hooks and shuriken, their eyes meet shortly. It only happens for a split second and it’s over before she even realizes it’s happening. But...she could swear she saw something in his eyes. If she didn’t know any better, she would have thought he was...worried?

“Right, let’s do this.” Levi says as he walks towards the door. “And don’t do anything stupid.” He adds to it. It sounds more like an order than a warning.

She mumbles something to herself, trying to keep her dismay of his attitude to herself. Levi can hear it, but he decides to ignore it, as he’s not looking for a fight.

Both armed with two daggers in their hands and multiple more weapons hidden on their body, they storm out of the door. The four guards standing in front of the storage facility down the hall, stood no chance. Levi is fast, but the Crimson Fox is even faster. She ran past Levi, towards the four men, her blades piercing through the arms of the furthest two men so they couldn’t use their rifles on them. She jumped up, blades still in their arms, lifting up her feet to kick the rifle out of the third guard’s hands. And the fourth guard, she left up to Levi, who had already removed the rifle from the fourth guard’s hands before she could even turn around to look at him. Levi punches the fourth guard unconscious, as she kicks the first and second guard unconscious.

However, for just a mere second, both of them took their eyes off of the third guard. They assumed the rifle was all he had and Levi made sure to kick that away, but unbeknownst to them, he was hiding a knife. The third guard takes out the knife and swings at the Crimson Fox’s arm.

She notices and starts turning around, though there’s nothing she can do to move out of the way. Levi, luckily, is in a better position to interfere. He smashes his elbow into the lower arm of the guard, immediately breaking his bone. He punches the guard unconscious and looks over at the Crimson Fox’s arm.

“I’m fine. He didn’t get me.”

Levi, a little in disbelief, grabs her arm. The fabric was cut, but there wasn’t even a slight knick visible in her skin.

Levi scowls. “Idiot.” Levi gives her a dope slap, lightly slapping the back of her head with an open hand in a reprimanding way. “Be more careful.” He commands.

She scoffs back at him. “I didn’t even get hurt.” Though his slap isn’t enough to hurt her in any capacity, she still rubs her head where he just touched her. More in a protesting way than an actual pain way. “Besides, it’s your stupid rule of not killing them that puts us at risk. If we could’ve taking them out immediately...”

He immediately interrupts her. “Condition one, you listen to me. We’re not arguing over this.”

Before she even has time to respond, two more guards turn the corner at the end of the hallway. She pushes Levi into the storage facility and she jumps back herself, throwing two shuriken blades towards the guards. She’s quite skilled with them. So Levi knows it was on purpose when she hits their necks, killing them almost instantaneous. However, before the shuriken reaches them, one of them manages to pull the trigger on the rifle, alerting all other guards in the facility that something is going on.

“Shit.” She mutters.

Levi is glaring hard at her. She looks back and hesitates for half a second. Levi somehow knows what she’s thinking.

“Don’t you...”

He doesn’t even need to finish his sentence, because she’s finished the job before he can even finish his sentence. She takes out her dagger and uses it to take out the four guards they fought before. Four swift stabs to the necks. That was it. It was more peaceful than leaving them there in agony. But it wasn’t what they agreed on.

She has never seen Levi so angry. Not at her anyway.

She rushes into the storage facility and closes the door. She starts moving a giant bookcase in front of the door.

“Be angry with me later. We have to decide what to do now.”

She turns back to face him as she’s finished blocking the door with the bookcase, locking both of them into this room. Levi is just staring at her, not saying a word.

“I know. I know. But they saw our faces. And if I didn’t do that, it would’ve left us no options now. But right now, we’re left with two options. One, we fight them. We give it our all and hurt them good. But we’re don’t know exactly how many people are in here. And they all have guns. And we’ve lost the element of surprise.”

Levi knows how bleak it looks, but he’s not yet over his anger. So he stays quiet.

“Two, we take the loot and make a run for it. There is nobody who saw us here, there is no way they’d know it was us. Besides, it’s just us two. Who would be stupid enough to enter the hideout of the Coffin Brothers with just two people, right?”

Levi is still just staring at her in anger. He realizes they’re out of time though. A decision has to be made. She urges him one last time.

“Condition one. I listen to you. So tell me what to do. Now.”

Levi finally breaks his stare and rushes over towards the window.

“Get the loot. You have 45 seconds to break the lock or we’re leaving without it.”

She rushes over to the safe-like contraption hidden in the desk that’s placed in this room. She doesn’t hesitate for a second and starts cracking the lock as Levi works on a way out.

Despite this being a slightly unforeseen circumstance, they’ve prepared enough to know exactly how to get out of here. As Levi loosens the rope they had hid and tied to the roof two days earlier, he pulls on it to make sure it’s still secured. It is. He turns back to her.

“Time’s up.”

“Ten more seconds” She whispers, as she keeps working on the lock.

“Lexi. Now!”

The safe opens as he speaks and she hastily puts all the jewelry in her pockets. She runs over to the rope and jumps on it and quickly climbs up.

That’s one thing that would never change. Levi always let her escape first.

He follows behind only a second later. Just in time. Because as they pull up the rope, trying to hide where they went, they hear enough gunshots go off to kill any living thing in the room they were just in.

They use this time to escape in the other direction, since all guards seem to be focused on that one room.

They arrive back at their single bedroom apartment and she lets herself fall down to the floor.

“That was a close one.” She sighs.

Levi leans down, his face mere centimeters from hers as he stares into her eyes with an intensity that gives her chills down her spine. His voice is calm, but dangerous.

“Don’t you ever do that to me again.”

He doesn’t need to clarify. She knows exactly what he means. Usually Levi likes people who think for themselves. But they had agreed on something and she went off script without consulting him.

He’s never been one to raise his voice or get angry. But their dynamics have changed since that day a year ago. There’s a certain anger in him, one that he’s afraid to let out. No. It’s not anger. It manifests itself as anger. It’s guilt. So every once in a while, she sees little fragments of his feelings being let out.

But this time, she couldn’t even blame him. What she did was wrong. She doesn’t regret what she did, but she did regret the way she went about it.

“I won’t.” Her voice is soft and slightly shaky. Not because she’s scared of him. But because she’s genuinely sorry she’s making him feel like this.

Levi takes a breath and composes himself again. He leans away, but his eyes never leave hers.

“I don’t like fleeing. I don’t like how that went down. Next heist, I plan everything. No more dumb ideas or risks.”

She nods. She takes the jewelry out of her pockets and puts it down between them.

“Take your share.” She tells Levi.

It’s as if he immediately knows what she’s going to do.

“You can’t be serious. We nearly died for this.”

She just shrugs. She seems very set on giving her share to the strays she picked up a few years ago, as a sort of big severance pay.

“You’re fucking useless.” He sighs as he grabs a small necklace. She looks surprised. She was expecting him to grab more. She raises an eyebrow.

“That’s it?”

“Yeah. This will hold us over until the next heist.”

There’s a slight pause, as Levi looks at her with a certain urgency.

“But I’m serious. No more strays. This is it.”

This time, Levi holds out his hand.

She stares at his hand with a slight smile. She knows that if she comments on how he claimed only a few days ago that he’s not a guy who just shakes hands, he’ll take it back. Besides, they both know he’s only doing this to make a point.

She holds out her hand and shakes his.

“Deal. I won’t pick up any more strays to care for. If we ever find a new stray, it’ll be because you pick them up.”

And that deal she kept.

Februari 849, Survey Corps HQ in Trost District

“I see.” Is all Erwin replies to the story that was just told.

“You don’t want her. And I’m fairly certain she doesn’t want to be here either.”

Erwin pauses slightly, the creases in his forehead indicating he’s thinking about this carefully.

“But, she can get the job done?” Erwin asks. He is still trying to process everything Levi just told him. Levi doesn’t share many things about his past, so Erwin is trying not to pry too much since he doesn’t want to deter him from sharing more.

Levi takes a deep breath. His gaze wanders away towards some flowers on the bookcase next to Erwins desk. He never understood the purpose of fresh flowers. They die. Well. Everything dies. But picked flowers die faster than anything else. It’s a foolish act to care for something so fragile and hopeless.

He finally knows how to describe her to Erwin. He looks back at Erwin. “She might be talented, but she’d sacrifice herself to save a flower from wilting.”

Erwin pauses slightly. Unlike Levi, he doesn’t seem to think that’s a bad thing. He resumes this conversation with a determination in his voice that seems unwavering. “But, can she get the job done?”

Levi shakes his head softly. Not because he thinks she wouldn’t be able to handle herself in the Survey Corps, but because he knows there’s no changing the resolve Erwin has set in his heart. “Yes. She can get the job done.”

A slight smirk appears on Erwins face, as he is getting the answers he was hoping for. Levi’s stoic expression is swiftly broken by a hint of confusion.

“You don’t seem upset by the story I just told you?”

“I’m not.” Erwin simply replies.

Levi’s forehead creases as he tries to figure out why Erwin isn’t more upset by this story.

“I just told you that she murdered people. Ruthlessly. When it was specifically agreed that she wouldn’t.”

Erwin slightly tilts his head.

“You did. But. Would you have let them live?”

Levi doesn’t reply. The silence says all Erwin needs to know. He’s aware that Levi is telling him one of the worst stories he can remember to deter him from trying to recruit her. But Erwin knows he needs to at least try. He took a gamble on Levi. He’s willing to take a gamble again.

“I never asked you about your past, Levi. And I won’t ask about hers. Besides, it’s been over five years since you left the underground. Who knows what she’s like now? She could have changed, for the better or for the worse. But I’m ready to take another gamble. Because my gamble on you definitely paid off, despite the opposition I got back then.”

Levi doesn’t reply, but he also doesn’t argue. His shoulders, which were tensed up slightly, finally move down as he exhales. Erwin sees this as a sign that Levi is ready to abide by his decision.

Erwin leans back in his chair again, content with how this conversation is going. “So if I set up an expedition to the underground in 3 weeks, you’ll join me?”

“You’d be better off going there without me.”

Erwin raises an eyebrow. His voice becoming more firm than before. “I’m asking you to join me, Levi.” Suddenly, his question doesn’t seem like a question anymore.

Levi scoffs. “Just for the record, I think this is a horrible idea.”

Erwin just smiles, knowing he’s just gotten exactly what he was hoping for. “Duly noted.”

The first 3 parts are mainly introductions to the OC and her relationship with Levi. After that, we should start seeing more of the original cast and story :)
