Lex Luther POV
I had been working for months to create the perfect weapon against Superman so I have cared about nothing else. I needed to be the best and if I wanted to be the best Superman was going to have to die. It was obvious. That was until I finished it. “Dad!” The boy in the tube called. And I tried to ignore the warmth that entered my chest. I'm just proud of my creation. That’s it, nothing else. “It’s great to meet you!” He said excitedly. “Great to meet you too, your job is to kill Superman and take his place.” I told him. “Okay dad.” Do you want to do something together?” I said yes. It was impossible not to get attached. I really did try but I gave into every request. I gave him hugs and snuggles because he asked. God what was happening to me. Kryptonian are really occur to society but he’s my little alien baby and I love him to death and I’ll admit it, I still expect him to serve his purpose originally created him. I’m more focused on having a son and I would kill this child for the first time in my life. I love something more than me.
