MHA Reacts to “The Best Case Scenario is Being Realistic” Chapter 1
Change
It's a concept that people have to accept as we grow but also fear it.
Things have to change a lot with our heroes. Sometimes it could be for the best, but oftentimes it’s not for the better.
The war has done a lot of damage to not only the heroes, but to everyone living in Japan.
With everything being presented with what the villains have spoken, what damages they caused, with the number of body counts of the ones who have been buried. The people have started to realize maybe Villains aren't the only things that they have to worry about, it's heroes too.
Many have taken upon themselves to either keep fighting for the good but there have been others who denied to give up the hero's life. The deaths that were supposed to happen originally have changed the timeline differently. But the end result was still the same.
After being moments away from being released from the hospital, Izuku is laying down on his hospital bed talking with his mother Inko and his Favorite Hero/Father Figure, All Might. After his talk with the Past Users of One for All, he decides to tell his mom the truth about what One For All really is.
"Oh I see now, this makes a lot of sense with you suddenly having quirk all of a sudden. I hate this... a special power from the former Number One Hero and an evil Villain is coming after my baby... what is going to happen now?" Inko asked.
"He'll be safe, U.A is taking special precautions to make sure your son and-" All Might was cut off by Izuku who was about to say something ridiculous.
"I'm not going back to U.A" Izuku interjected with a calm voice. His declaration made his mom and All Might stared at the boy. "Shigaraki can figure where I'm at right now because he has Ragdoll's Search Quirk, he could be minutes away from now. There are people who are hurt and are just recovering, and I don't want them to get hurt anymore. So I have to stop All for One and Shigaraki for good this time. Even if I'm on my own" Izuku finished with confidence.
The atmosphere changed with the statement Izuku made. The world is now changing rapidly with the war and now the people demand resoluteness. They want someone to take responsibility and get things back to normal and it looks like Izuku wants to change that.
'I figured he might've thought of something like that' Toshinori thought before he reached his own decision. He then stood up from his seat and made up his mind.
"Alright, if you're going then I'm coming with you. I'm still training you and I can't leave you out there with villains running amok in the cities. You'll need someone out there for backup. Best Jeanist and Hawks confronted me earlier about what they heard in their CT Frequency, they overheard Shigaraki mentioning One for All. There was no more reason to keep it a secret anymore. So they decided that they'll team up along with Endeavor, to search for the league and All for One. They asked if there could be a chance on what you do but if you’re going out there to search for the league, then I’m coming along for the ride.”
Izuku confirmed this, knowing he’ll have to do what he needs to do. But Inko had other reasons to deny her son going out there.
“But you weren’t strong enough to defeat them before, this won’t change anything…”
“Then I’ll get stronger. I know I will. Mom… I want to do this. I’ll get stronger, defeat the league, defeat Shigaraki and All for One, and I’ll come back home, I promise.” Izuku said with a smiling comfort while giving his mom a hug while Inko just weeped remembering a flashback when Izuku ‘saved’ her from an evil villain when they were pretending to play hero.
She knows she doesn’t want her only child to go out there but her Izuku has the power to change the world. Even knowing in the beginning, he desperately wanted to save people even without having a quirk and not having the support he needed. But truthfully, if Izuku had a quirk… she wouldn’t let him be a hero knowing if it put her son in danger. Now, he’s far from her reach and can’t do anything about it.
But before he left, there was one more thing he needed to do.
“Guys, guys, you need to take a look at this!” Mineta shouted while running towards the dorm lounge with a few students in Class 1A. “Midoriya left a letter on the front of my door! He said he’s leaving!”
“Yeah we have one too.” Kirishima said.
“I don’t believe this, All for One and the villains’ target…” Sero read.
“A special power received by All Might and the villains are targeting him” Shoji said
“I don’t get this, what is going on?” Kaminari added to the confusion on what his letter said.
“Midoriya…” Asui said with a sad face.
Everyone in Class 1A received letters from Midoriya. It contained information about what is going to happen moving forward. Uraraka right now is outside, still trying to process what she just read from her crush’s letter.
Dear Uraraka,
I’m glad that you became the first friend I made since coming to U.A, it made me feel accepted and I’m happy you were there for me on this journey. But sometimes, part of the journey is the end and it’s time for you and everyone in Class 1A knows the truth. My quirk is not just any quirk, it’s a special power that I received from All Might before the entrance exams started. It’s called One For All. I was originally quirkless since I was born until All Might saw something in me. So he gave me this power that has been passed on from generation to generation, and it’s a power that All for One has been wanting to take. The last thing I want is to put you all in danger, so I’m leaving for good. With me gone, you and everyone else won’t have to get hurt because of me and you’ll get to be pros with a bright future. Being here at U.A. was a blessing, but sometimes I think it’s best that I have to be realistic. Maybe one day I’ll come back when everyone is smiling again, thank you and goodbye.
From Deku
All Uraraka could do is shed tears on her letter knowing her friend, her precious friend, the one person that she fell in love with is now gone. He’s somewhere out there, fighting by himself. “You… you idiot…” She muttered.
All of a sudden, a door behind her opens revealing Yaoyorozu whose appearance seems different than usual. Her eyes are filled with tears, knowing that she has the same note. Midoriya and her have been getting close since the Sports Festival. He saw the pained look when Yaoyorozu was defeated so easily by Tokoyami, so he comforted her when she was crying. Since that day, they’ve been close which made Uraraka jealous a few times. But now, they both felt struck in the heart but not by love, but replaced by an empty heart.
“Is he really gone?” Uraraka asked.
“Yes, I tried to look for him in his room, the gym, all over school but there's no sign of him so… yeah, he is gone.” Yaoyorozu responded as she confirmed her suspicions.
The downpour of the mood was just awful knowing that a lot of things are happening in the world and this change can make the dynamic of the world a better place or an utter disaster.
On the day Midoriya left U.A, 1 hour after the notes were left out
The UA teachers all gathered around, even Aizawa who was being helped by Present Mic and Midnight who thankfully, survived the war but did sustain injuries and is barely able to walk. The way on how she survived was thanks to Midoriya who saved her before the villains ambushed her, although on what he did… well… let’s just say that what he did to those villains is something that a hero should never do. Unfortunately for Aizawa, he lost an eye and a leg in the battle, he was able to get the prosthetics but he needed rest but that didn’t stop him when he heard about his student leaving.
The staff gathered around for this meeting Nezu orchestrated and now it was time for explanations. “So we gathered here just to find out that the biggest villain in the world broke out of Tartarus with the help of Shigaraki, and now he’s after one of our students who decided to leave our institution” Snipe had started the conversation.
“I gathered everyone to assemble here to discuss safety evacuations. Most parts of Upper Japan including Yokohama, Osaka, and Nagoya have been decimated to rubble. Some of the evacuation shelters have been destroyed or have been ambushed by villains, so now they’re off around the streets scavenging. So I made the decision to make U.A. into an evacuation shelter, along with Shiketsu High School, Ketsubutsu Academy, and Seiai Academy. They all made an agreement that with the number of villains breaking out of prisons, they were forced to provide extra shelter” Nezu said, giving his statement towards his staff.
“Is that really a good idea? Ever since the war happened, people have been criticizing us on our jobs and now many have quit heroing!” Cementoss explained.
Thirteen then replied to him “That may be so, but don’t forget that there are many who have been affected by the catastrophes that many are forced to reside in these shelters given it’s their only choice.”
“Okay but still, many are giving heroes the stink eye. I heard that Wash was helping a couple out from the burning buildings and when he was done, he was still shamed by the protesters.” Midnight said with a depressed look. “So far, a numerous number of heroes have quitted since HPSC has been muted. So for right now, we are stretched thin.”
Snipe then added “Right now the pros here have to keep our students safe, that’s our first priority.”
“It would be easy if they trust us. There have been words going around saying that we are not handling this well and were bringing them up to their deaths. Ever since Endeavor's past was revealed, it's marked up to every city in Japan. I also got word that the HPSC has still not provided any support from other countries to help assist some of their heroes.” Nezu said.
Midnight then spoke up, “Wait they HPSC is still up and running. I thought it went up to flames at HQ?” Nezu was about to retort until Power Loader explained the situation, “The main headquarters got destroyed but a few members died while the president and the top brass survived and are hiding. No information has been sent out only with a last message saying they should not be in contact with anyone for the time being.”
She then retorted back saying “Are you kidding me?! The country is literally in shambles right now and the best thing they are doing is hiding while all of us are in a state of crisis?!”
“So far after Shigaraki got away along with a few villains and a whole band of members from the Paranormal Liberational Front, not to mention some dangerous villains that escaped Tartarus along with a whole lot of prisoners that escaped the 6 main prison all over, the country is indeed in state of quarantine. With this happening a whole lot sooner, it appears they are probably trying to cover this up by putting the blame on Endeavor.” Nezu exclaimed, trying to ease the situation a little bit.
This was not what they anticipated. Everything is going to shit, and keeping the citizens calm while they berate and complain, it has come to the point of how long they have left before it all implodes. Since Endeavor graduated at UA, this school has come to haunt and show disdain on the students and faculty. Plus, they even heard talks about something to do with ‘One For All’. “Does anyone else have anything to add before we split and resume with the evacuations on parents' housing.” Nezu asked before wanting to end the meeting.
Aizawa then spoke up “Let’s move on to a topic I’ve been meaning to ask, why did you let my student go? Why did you decide to let him leave here and go after All for One by himself?”
Nezu replied “He’s not by himself, he's with a team of a couple of top heroes helping him in his search for All for One.”
“Yeah, the very same man that wants his power now will kill him. Have you even realized that you're sending him to the dragon’s pit with no weapon. I saw the letters he sent towards my class and I learned a lot that I didn't realize. A power from All Might, villains have been going after him. Speaking of which, where is he?!”
“He’s with Midoriya right now backing him up.”
“For how long, he doesn’t have a quirk anymore. I heard what happened between saving Nemuri from the Liberation Army. He almost killed them, paralyzed to the waist down. In that emotional state, he’s dangerous without the proper care.
“Oh look who’s talking, last time I checked, you were debating if Midoriya should be dropped to General Studies”
“What!” Almost all the teachers said, with a shocking tone.
“It was just precaution given how his emotional stability is. He’s been erratic before all of this, on how he had a mental breakdown and now I’m worried.”
“More like telling him to grow up and figure it out yourself. Even if you get him dropped to Gen Ed, the process application is something that I have to review based on his performance and if there was any clearance of disruption, I’d make the final decision. Sounds like he was starting to show potential in your ruse earlier this year and now it sounds like you just gave up.” Nezu pointed out.
The teachers were stumbling upon what Aizawa was originally planning earlier, to think he would drop a working and dedicated student that has improved since the beginning of the year.
“You couldn’t be serious right Shota, the kid has improved and exceeded your expectations, and now you think that isn’t enough!” Present Mic talked back.
“It was only a precaution just in case something went as a setback, he’s been off since the joint training session. I thought maybe he was just stressed from his studies, work studies, and his training but I then soon realized it may be something else that the more he’s off, the less his potential is fading.
“Are you serious? What the hell is wrong with you? He ha-” Present Mic wanted to speak and defend Midoriya until Midnight interrupted him.
“Izuku is not weak! He had literally improved a lot since the beginning of the year! He had made great remarks in my class, he worked hard in training in his new power he discovered in the joint training class session! HE LITERALLY SAVED ME FROM THE BRINK OF DEATH! IF IT WASN’T FOR HIM, YOUR STUDENTS WOULD’VE BEEN MOURNING AT MY CORPSE!”
“Something has been going off from him that’s been rattled up and he refuses to speak up! It’s a logical understanding to know if you're not open to talking to anyone if it's personal, but there’s also a line drawn when it’s affecting your daily life. He’s been messing up during class, not focusing all on training, and lately I've gotten a few critiques from his internship with Endeavor.”
His peers in question can’t deny the huge impacts that happen on the green hair kid. Something changed in him that has caused him to be on edge but also to the point where he wasn’t the same anymore. It’s like he’s more different, not the nerdy shy kid that was always on edge.
Then Aizawa said something that brought up the root of the problem. “But what's most concerning is his relationship with Bakugo. From the beginning, it’s been Bakugo who has a problem with Midoriya and I still don’t know why. Lately he’s improved with still an ego, but now has worked well with his peers. Then all of sudden, Midoriya just happens to not be involved when it comes to him. He seemed so distracted and not in the head that it cost their team points during the last group rescue exercise.
“So you mean to me that because of some slight overseer on Midoriya’s behavior that it's okay to transfer him to General Studies. If that were true, you would’ve done the exact same for Bakugo and Mineta since their behavior has caused trouble not only within their class, but also in the outside world when the Endeavor and Mount Lady have stated that rude or perverted actions have caused trouble. From what has happened, slacking is not the answer when it comes to Midoriya’s development”
“If it isn’t that then what? I know that you're hiding something from me and I want you to fill me in on the secret. I’ve heard from former pros saying something about One for All, and since Midoriya has intercepted the comms when Endeavor was first fighting Shigaraki claiming he's after him, it's obvious that he knows something about it and it appears that he might have known for quite some time.”
Nezu clearly picked up that this has become an interrogation at this point. So he stuck to his ground and did not let himself succumb to it. “That is something I can’t say for sure.” Nezu smoothly talks while Aizawa is getting impatiently furious.
“I’m pretty sure it has something to do with that Midoriya kid since he acted all wild, ARgh! Even All Might left around the same time as he did! ARGH!” Hound Dog said while getting visibly angry at being left out in the dark.
Nezu tries to reassure everyone with the best statement he can make to keep everyone calm, “Look I know many of you have a lot of questions but we all need to put that on the shelf for now, from the looks of it, the people who are residing have been getting antsy. Let’s try to keep them calm for now until anymore instructions”
They all silently agreed since many have not been trusted to the war aftermath but since homes were being destroyed and barely any heroes were up and running, they decided to accommodate and bring the civilians here for the evacuation process. Still, the minds of everyone, especially Aizawa, hasn't forgotten why Izuku Midoriya left.
Little did they know, Hagakure sneakily overheard their conversation.
A Few Days after leaving UA
In the streets of the suburban area away from the cities, the stormy rainy weather has been pouring. Harsh rain drops as the streets were quiet. Too quiet, as there are no civilians in the district as they evacuated all towards the shelters that hero schools had provided. Many districts have decided to evacuate to ensure the safety of the civilians while others don’t trust heroes as they did before and went on their own. But one of them tried believing that everything would be back to normal, but the fear let it take over and she decided to head to the shelter. Until she heard a group of people stalking her behind her, then one of the men yelled at her. So she ran away from them in case they were villains.
“Hey! Come back here you freak!” said an anonymous attacker
“Please! Leave me alone, I didn’t do anything!” said the woman running away from her attackers
“Get her!” said the other.
What was happening was a very tall, foxlike woman that had blonde hair with a curved figure was running away from her attackers. It’s probably because the attackers believed she looked like some sort of villain judging by her appearance. She tried running away from them but they kept cornering her every way until one of the guys was behind her and grabbed her when she wasn’t looking.
“I didn’t do anything! I’m just trying to get to the evacuation center! Just please let me go!” said the woman clearly fearing for her life especially since the 3 civilians are threatening her with dangerous support items. “Lies! You’re trying to lower our guards down so you can kill us! We're not leaving until you are dead!” replied the other civilian who was charging up his launcher. “No!!!” That's all she could say before she met her end.
Until…
THUD
Someone in a dark green rugged rags looking guy came from out of nowhere and punched the guy holding her down to the ground. It was Deku, the boy who left UA to search for the league who was in dirty clothes and wearing a cracked mask and Gran Torino’s cape. The look on Izuku's face looked menacingly as he stared at the three. He then started charging at the other two and broke their launcher while trying to keep it civil. “Listen to me, this woman is innocent okay? She’s just trying to head to an evacuation center. Just leave her in peace." He tried to negotiate this in peace but the others were not in an agreement. “You're lying! You probably want to save her and leave us alone so you can come kill us!” “Yeah! It doesn’t matter how scary looking you look, we're killing the both of you so this world can move on!” The civilians are growing hostile and no matter what Izuku says, they won’t budge. With the constant yelling and berating at them, Izuku kept having flashes of his past especially at Aldera.
“Me liking you?! HA! Like I would ever love a quirkless freak”
“No matter what you do, you’ll amount to nothing”
“Eww… I don’t want to hang out with a quirkless loser like you”
“A hero’s job is dangerous without a quirk kid… so no I don’t think you can become one”
“Izuku… I am… so… so sorry!”
Flashes of his past started to way down Izuku. All the past memories, on how people avoided and bullied him because of his quirkless status, how his mother lost a lot of friends because they didn’t want to be associated with a person who was quirkless, and how he was made fun of and mocked at whenever he walked by his former peers. But what really triggered his mind was the one person who made his life a living hell. Katsuki Bakugo. He’s been friends with him ever since they were little, all because their parents were. Ever since his quirkless status was announced, he started viewing him a nuisance to him. Where Bakugo or Kacchan he refers to, has had a powerful quirk and he didn’t, that’s when bullying started. On how he started calling Izuku “Deku” meaning useless, or after classes are over he and his ‘henchmen’ trapped him and beat up him up, or the times when Bakugo got the entire school to turn against Deku by bullying him, peeing in locker, destroying his belongings, putting his head in toilets, and playing cruel prank on Valentines Day when multiple girls confessed their feelings for Deku but then slapped him and threw eggs, flowers, and used their own quirks on him while they all went up to Bakugo gave him Valentines Day kisses. But the worst was when it all changed…
“If you really want a quirk so bad, take a swine dive off the roof and pray you get one in the next life.”
“ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!”
With a scream so loud, losing all control, Izuku lashed out to three while using blackwhip to reach one of the threat’s hands and snapped it with force.
CRUNCH
“ARGH! MY ARM! THAT BASTARD JU-” One of the guys was speaking but immediately was cut off when the guy was then smacked down to the ground by Izuku. He then started grabbing the other two with blackwhip and swung them up and then down to the ground by slamming them. He then repeated using blackwhip to bring them up and down. Just as the guy’s hand was still broken, he tried to attack Izuku from behind but was met with a strong fast side kick to the lower abdomen. It was then Izuku started to approach the man and then activated One for All and started to punch repeatedly at the man’s face. He didn’t stop even when the guy pleaded but he kept punching without thinking.
“Ninth, stop this assault. You’re losing it! If you keep at this, he’ll die!”
It was at that moment Izuku stopped his assault, and what he saw was the guy he just attacked brutally was coughing up blood with two bruised up eyes and lost a couple of teeth, as for the other two men, he saw then their bodies were nearly broken in half. The ruthless repetition of slamming their bodies with Blackwhip caused so much damage that he doesn’t know if they can ever move their bodies again.
Izuku kept thinking about the situation. “This is the second time that this has ever happened to me before. I know I lost control when Ms. Midnight was under attack by that giant titan, and now I lose it again here. What’s going on?!” These thoughts would keep in mind for the moment as the big tall heteromorph woman came up to him.
“Ummm… thank you so much for saving me. I was really scared when those men came up to me. I just assumed that this whole thing would blow over so I decided to stay at my place since it was part of the quietest district. But then evacuations started to rapidly pick up and more villains came up to this district. I was slow in evacuating, then those guys showed up because I looked scary.” The woman said while trying to confront Izuku.
He then pulled out an umbrella towards her head to keep the rain hitting her.
“Thank you… listen… do you think that everything will return back to normal?” said the ordinary woman who was overcome with so much fear. But her hero stood up strong, and said these words, “It will! I promise that I will bring everything back… even if it means I lose myself…” Izuku said while saying the last part quietly.
“Excuse me but what was that last part you said” asked the woman he saved. “Umm it’s nothing. Listen, someone is coming to get you. Don’t worry… he’ll take you to the nearest evacuation center but if that doesn't help, head towards UA” Izuku responded while leaving by jumping off at fast speed getting into a rush.
“Hey! Wait!” The ordinary woman tried calling her hero but left at a fast pace. “I didn’t even get your name” the last part she thought to herself. The hero that just saved her, might’ve stolen her heart as well. But one thing that intrigued her mind was… why was he crying underneath… was he in pain… or was it-
Her thoughts immediately went away when a car drove towards her when opening the door revealing a skinny All Might. “Hey Miss! Are you alright?!” he called her out while she was startled by him. “All Might!? U-U-U-Umm yes… if it wasn’t for that green masked hero, something worse could’ve happened to me. I owe him my life” she said. All Might then responded “Alright Miss, what’s your name?” he asked to make sure he can inform UA for another civilian. “My name is Ippan Josei, can I please hitch a ride towards the nearest evacuation center.” All Might agreed to it and made sure that she was safe, but before they could head off he noticed the three people who were laying down on the ground.
He couldn’t believe what he saw. Three guys, almost beaten to death. Did Young Midoriya do this? “Ummm… Miss Josei, the green hero that came by, did he do this and if so, do you know where he might've headed off to?” said All Might trying to get answers to the situation.
“Umm yes… while I was under attack, he came by and saved me and fought those heathens… even if it was to an extreme… he drew up these black tendrils and then brutally punched one of them repeatedly. As to where he is, I don’t know. He seemed sad but also angry, especially at what he did. He isn’t normally like this, isn’t he?” Josei asked All Might, trying to confirm that this isn’t normal behavior.
All Might viewed the damage that was caused, seeing those three barely breathing he decided to inform the police and the paramedics. This was the second time that he heard of his protege acting so violently. “No…… he’s never been like this…” It was the only thing he could say while calling the authorities to arrest them.
Conclusion of Lady Nagant
After being stumbled upon by a hired gunsman, Midoriya struggled with the purple indigo haired woman who was trying to gun him down with an assault sniper with great precision. Unfortunately, the woman was named Lady Nagant. A notorious woman who was once a great hero that was approached by the HPSC, but instead was led into the dark path of what hero society really is. Killing villains without probable cause or any legal arrest and doing any of the HPSC’s dirty work that the public would know nothing about. The public would never ‘understand’ why this would be necessary but this was something that the commission would take advantage of those who deem a threat towards them and the world or they seem useless or collateral damage that no one would care. Lady Nagant aka Kaina Tsutsumi was chosen in hopes to be the hero she always imagined but saw that she became a pawn in a game of chess and her strings were controlled by the HPSC’s puppet hands. Having enough of it, she retaliated and killed the former HPSC’s president.
After that moment, she was sent to Tartarus for her “crime”. The commission then covered it up that the former president passed away from cancer and that Lady Nagant was arrested for killing a random hero on patrol. When news broke out, people were in shock that a beloved hero like her would do something like this, but Izuku didn’t believe it. He kept denying that a great hero like her would go down a dark path. Now confronting her, dodging every bullet she fired and maneuvering every single scale she showed especially with that new quirk: Air Walk.
With all the quirks he learned in a short amount of time, he planned out every second he could make to ensure that he could surprise at every turn. The last gambit he had was to use the third user's quirk: Fa Jin, a power he hasn’t used but extremely effective that can absorb kinetic energy and use it to boost his physical prowess. With that he unexpectedly saved Chisaki that Lady Nagant brought as cargo and was able to blindside her with Smokescreen and Danger Sense to defeat her once and for all. The moment she was about to hit the ground, he quickly grabs her hand and reassures her that this battle has ended.
“Your aim was off, but whether I hate Chisaki or not, he’s still a person that needs to be held accountable for. You weren't planning on killing me, if you did you would’ve had the chance when you first sniped at me! That means that there is some goodness in you that has devoted your life to saving the ones and assure them with smiles! Don’t let All for One control your life just like the HPSC did, you have a choice!” Izuku reminds her of what she's doing and calls her out on her intentions. “Join our side, help us defeat him and this world can change to a brand new era! PLEASE!” He yelled at her to fight alongside them as they need all the help they need.
Tsutsumi was surprised; in all of her years of senseless killing and blaming the old hero society for what caused her loss in humanity, and for some reason this kid is nowhere near anything from the old or current heroic era. This young kid that is a threat to All for One’s plans is someone you want to get behind and believe he can do the unthinkable, and for the first time in such a long time… she finally gave a sincere smile.
“You… really are a true hero…” She said while her entire body was glowing. Izuku instantly noticed before the danger sense activated.
He then saw cracks starting to appear on her face. Immediately, he used blackwhip to cover every single part of her body and then started to unleash Fajin on the whips to condense the kinetic energy around her body and harden the blast, sort of like giving his assassin a strong armor shield from what’s going to happen.
BOOOOOM
A strong explosion shattered the vacant city, as it was coming down to Izuku barely grabbing Lady Nagant from her almost pending death as she was shown to have lasting burn effects while falling through the ground. ‘This boy… if it weren’t for him… I would’ve been dead for sure… Why… why would he go this far for me…
As the once beautiful hero was laying on Izuku’s arms, she stared at him with sincerity. Izuku then spoke to her, “Listen, there’s a hospital that’s abandoned but should have the supplies I need to fix you up. If I send you to a regular hospital, they will lock you up. I can’t do that… even if you are a villain, you became when the world treated you unfairly, not to mention that you have intel about our enemies.”
She then spoke, “You know this is treason… you’ll get arrested for harboring a fugitive…” She can see Izuku’s eyes did not falter. “I don’t care, from what you said, it sounds to me like I probably can’t trust anyone, especially when it’s my issues, so bear with me Lady Nagant. I will save you.” Just from that statement, it made her realize that she can really trust him, “Kaina… My name is Kaina.” She spoke her name while losing consciousness from the injuries she had suffered.
All Izuku could do is walk while carrying her bridal style and watch her pass out and realize that all of this is happening because of the ruler of the Underworld. He gritted his teeth while determining the fate of his enemy, ‘All for One!’ He said in a distaste.
Later in the Class 1A Dorms
“Are you sure that what you heard was true Hagakure?”
“Yes, from the way things stand as of now. It’s getting more dangerous out there. I’ve been following the reports that villains are dropping one by one throughout different cities and the limited number of heroes there are left are barely hanging on and what makes this worse is that everyone is berating them.”
Sero then responded, “Not to mention, one of our classmates is out there and who knows where.”
Class 1-A weren’t hiding behind a rock, they knew what was happening all over Japan. In just one night, the entire country is in havoc and heroes are working their asses off just to evacuate civilians and taking down prisoner escapees, while they’re many who have decided to quit the job.
“It’s going to cause havoc more and more when things are relaying towards our classmate.
Just then Iida jumped in and asked Todoroki, Bakugo, and Tokoyami, “What about the three of you? The heroes you interned with are fighting in the frontlines. They would’ve shared any information on what's happening out there or maybe have any info on Midoriya’s presence.”
The three spoke up saying that the top pro heroes aren’t responding to any of their calls or texts. It was plainfully clear that these pros are working with Deku, and no one is trying to tell them if he’s okay, or if something happened to him. Either way, there was no info on him on his location. It was only after Hagakure came back that they had some inkling of what he could be up to and this could also explain why All Might is MIA.
Sero added as he was discussing earlier, “If Midoriya is with the pros, then there shouldn’t be anything to worry about, right?” Ashido then replied back, “Are you crazy?! One of my friends is in extreme danger and I don't care if he makes it back alive. Ms. Midnight almost died in that, one of my favorite teachers was going to die and I couldn’t do anything about it. Now that I hear that the classmate I like to tease is going to die, it shatters me that I can’t sit down still…” She may had her fun with teasing Izuku but she did care about him
“With this going, it’ll be pretty hard to know what Deku’s main location is if he’s with All Might. But still… knowing the two of them, leaving them alone is the worst situation. Something awful can happen if one doesn’t comprehend.” Bakugou said, gritting his teeth realizing something bad could happen.
“Then we have to contact Midoriya as soon as possible so we can help him!” Kirishima said trying to bring motivation to the class. As everyone stood and tried to figure out a way to bring their classmate back, Uraraka stopped forward.
“Endeavor was an UA alumni, right? So let’s go talk to him..” She said with a determined face.
This was the 3rd time All for One sent a villain mercenary after him, and yet Deku prevailed but still had no leads to the remaining league. Toshinori just now arrived at the scene and saw the villain being mangled and lacking air, almost at the brink of death and the one who did it was his successor. The uprising boy with big dreams was now a boy in dirty rags and almost losing control. The once innocent eyes of a stuttering, mumbling shy boy who geeks out of heroes was now a broken person with dull menacing eyes with no care for anything.
“He had no information.” Izuku said as he walked past his mentor.
Toshinori checked on the villain and saw his body wasn’t moving. He then went to hear his heartbeat and was shocked by what he heard. ‘There’s nothing, I don’t feel a beat… did he really… No, Young Midoriya would never… but did he?’
Without any warning, he says “I’m going!” but just before he took off, Toshinori shouted “Hey just hold up!”, making Izuku stop for a moment.
“This isn’t how we deal with villains, I know things escalated ever since the prison breaks. But you can’t just go around and act upon yourself. Think about what you almost did to those three men when they tried to jump on the big fox lady! You almost killed them, and now this happens! I know things are scary, but we have to stay strong and stand up for the little guy! Are you even listening! Look, just take this bento and eat it! Toshinori yelled as he tried to give his successor his bento.
After a few moments of silence, Midoriya finally spoke “This is where we part ways.
Toshinori looked shocked at what he overheard.
“I don’t need you anymore. I’m finally at the point where I can handle myself, just like you always dreamed.” He then started to walk away from his mentor, he quietly said “I’m fine.”
Toshinori just couldn’t accept this. He made a promise to himself, to the boy’s mother, and his mentor. He failed from time and time again and he doesn't fail another time. He quickly runs up to him and says “What makes you think that you're fine?! Just look at you, your-
“I know what I am! Someone who fails to save those around! Someone who keeps trying but gets constantly put down by you, Gran Torino, Nighteye, Mr. Aizawa and Bakugo! All I wanted was to be a hero, try to get better, make friends, and start being confident! But now everything keeps putting me down when I’m minding my own effort! Izuku yelled back at his mentor.
“That’s not true, you did everything you ca-”
“No I didn’t. I kept thinking that if I track All for One and the league, defeat them and return with a smile, everything will be back to normal… But we can all smile again. We all wouldn’t have been suffering but it’s not! It feels like everyone can have their smiles except me because my smile was gone for so long!”
“What are you talking about Young Midoriya!”
“It’s always been me getting beat on, bullied, making me feel like crap everyday! All because I didn’t have what everyone else had. No one knows what it’s like to be me with nothing! None of them suffered like I did for the past 10 years! No one suffered from Bakugo’s abuse except me!
All Might retorted back saying, “I was quirkless too. You and I both were lucky when we found someone to guide us, you know that!
“And how would you know that! You were never bullied! YOU TOLD ME THAT YOURSELF! YOU EVEN SAID THAT I COULDN’T BE A HERO EVEN IF I WAS QUIRKLESS!!! MAYBE THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT IF YOU SUFFERED THE WAY I SUFFERED” Izuku finished while screaming at him. Toshinori looked back with a horrible look on what he heard from his successor. It was just too much on what was being displayed towards him and he fell on his knees.`
“Look I made some bad mistakes, and I’m trying to fix them! Look, right now you behave to-”
“NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” Izuku angrily shouted at All Might. “You don’t tell me what to do! So far everything has gone down to shit, because you placed everything on yourself and now you want me to do the same! That is something that All Might can do but right now you're not him! Your Toshinori Yagi! You put up a persona that can help be the Symbol of Peace, but the real you can’t save anyone! You can’t even realize your own student is hurting more and more, and it’s not from All for One! You're too stupid to realize the danger in bringing Bakugou again in my life! HE TOLD ME TO KILL MYSELF BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE A QUIRK!!! AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO GIVE HIM THE SAME SYMPLATHY WHEN HE CLEARLY DOESN'T DESERVE IT!!!!!!”
All Yagi could do is stare in shock, he didn’t even realize it was this serious. Izuku told him a long time about his history with Bakugou. While it’s true they had a bad past, he didn't realize it was this serious. He just thought that after their fight, they made up and became proper rivals but it turns out, the past can never truly stay in the past.
“Get out of my way for good! Because I don’t need you anymore! IT’S OVER!!!”
Toshinori didn’t budge, he was still in shock that his protege would talk like this. He just wanted to reassure him. “Izu-” He was cut off from the conversation as Izuku did not want to hear anything from him anymore.
After hearing enough of this conversation, “I’m going to say this once: Your time is up, and my time is NOW!”
Toshinori couldn’t even breathe, with everything Izuku told him was just an example of what he had spent all this time doing.
He was left with thoughts, struggling on what had happened ‘He’s right… I never felt that way because at the time things were bad. People were just trying to reform society and do things for the better that no one cared. I never knew things were bad when I was still Number #1 at my time. Young Midoriya has been holding this back for so long, and with the league now doing, he finally lost it. I never once cared, and now he is losing it. Maybe… maybe things could’ve gotten better if I gave Young Togata One for All… that way I wouldn’t burden him wi-. His thoughts were interrupted when Izuku charged up One for All to leave.
“HOLD ON!” Toshinori ran up and tried to get him

Izuku flew off fast leaving All Might behind. He flew down accidentally dropping Izuku’s bento.
‘I shouldn’t have thought of that! I should’ve done more. Why didn’t I do more?! I should've said, it’s alright! You don’t have to hide things… it’s okay to take a break when you need it… please take a rest when you need it… Why didn’t listen to him when he needed it….’ Toshinori thought it off when he fell down crying tears in his eyes.

During this drama, little did All Might know that someone was watching him and Izuku, and that was a recovering assassin with purple hair who was now following after the boy…
With Izuku flying off in the distance, he only had one thought on his mind and that was to ensure the pace of this world. “I’m sorry All Might… but if you can’t understand me…then I need to do this…… all on my own… your time is up, and my time is now….” He mumbled to himself
Izuku knew that with his letters wouldn’t stop them from maybe looking for him, he knew they would come for him but what he didn’t know was how he was going to get out of it.
“Why are all of you here?” Izuku very tiredly asked
All of Class 1A was standing right in front of him. Yaoyorozu, Sato, Shoji, Iida and Uraraka were right in front of the group. Uraraka was the first to speak, “Because we're worried about you.” Shoji then spoke “We know you've been taking too much on, but you don’t have to go through with this without help.
“Thanks for your concern but there’s no need to worry, I’m fine. There’s no reason for you all to come all this way. I’m better off on my own.” Izuku finishes as he puts his ragged mask on.
He then heard clapping from the other end from the opposing side, “Well that’s great! Hey, everyone we can leave now! The chosen one of All Might has everything under control!” Bakugo mockingly said with a taunting smile on his face.
Izuku under his mask from the outside said nothing but on the inside, was a mixture of sadness and rage.
“So you think you got everything handled, smile like you always did nerd.” Bakugo tried to provoke him to show his true colors.
All Midoriya could do is stare and come up to a conclusion. With no way to escape, he will have to run as fast as he can and escape by any means necessary, even if he has to do the unimaginable.
“If I really wanted to smile… it would take you out of my life for good.” With that statement, just for a split second, Bakugo was caught off guard and Izuku used that opportunity to use a smokescreen and jump ahead the nearest building before saying with an angry tone, “Look I don’t want anyone to worry about me, I’m fine either way. So please… get out of my way!”
“We’ll see about that, All Might wannabe!” Bakugo once again mocked and ticked off Deku that he knew was going to go down. “Listen, we all knew he wouldn’t listen to reason, so make sure we are in full offense,” Iida quickly said while his classmates were gearing up to capture Izuku and force him to come back. Uraraka and Yaoryorzu stepped forward with a nod to each other, along with the rest of Class 1A.
Izuku did not want to fight his classmates, so the only thing he could think of was running. With the smokescreen activated, he swarmed it towards the arena. “What! Too strong that I’m not worth your time! Don’t let him get away!” Bakugu shouted while using his new move. “Land Mine Blast!”
KABOOM
The area of smoke vanished revealing nothing but Deku leaving with Blackwhip activating and swinging from the buildings. All of sudden, a huge flock of birds swarm Izuku all over trying to prevent him from escaping. Koda revealed himself to be the cause of it. “Midoriya, listen, you don’t have to run away anymore! You can come back with us and rest!” Koda tries to appease Izuku’s conscience but refuses and splits past the flock. He tried to use Black whip but was caught by Sero’s tape along and was almost caught by Jiro’s Heartbeat Wall, which he forced himself to jump away.
Jiro shouted “ Midoriya, remember the time you helped me to organize her notes ahead of the School Festival. It may have been nothing, but you really saved me.” Her convincing wasn’t enough, like that meant anything to him at this point. Ojiro grappled him with his Tailman Style of his move, Tornado Tail Dance. “Look Midoriya, I can’t leave you alone with this. I know you can’t overlook a bad situation especially when you tried to defend me from Shinso at the Sports Festival.”
Deku then replied “My presence is endangering everyone! If All for One decides to hurt any of you, I can’t live with myself! That's why I have to stay away from all of you!” He starts to break out of Ojiro’s grip, that’s when Tokoyami appears and uses Dark Shadow to knock him into a building.
Sato catches Jiro and Ojiro while spouting “Don’t turn your back on us man! We all feel hurt that you left, so does your mom and so does All Might, even Eri! Please try to understand, and if you won’t listen, I won't let you borrow any of my food coloring for Eri’s apple candies!” izuku then tries to lift himself back up saying “Anyone can do that for her, NOT ME!” He was then quickly grabbed by Dark Shadow.
“Black Abyss: Ragnarok!” Tokoyami used his move to create a dark tomb around him to prevent him from escaping, not before Kaminari grabbed him and tried to reason with him along with Shoji assisting Tokoyami with his Dupli Arms using a blinding tape cloth created by Yaoyorozu.
“You told me once that a large group like us can stand a chance against All Might, so please listen. We can help you with your burden, all of us together!” Shoji tried to reason with him, along with Tokoyami, “I was only able to use my offensive as a defensive position because of you. It was you that came up with during our team up at the Cavalry Battle at the Sports Festival. So it’s my time to repay the favor.” Kaminari then sparked up the debate with his electricity, “Listen dude, I know One for All is important and I know that compared to us me being cool looking and you looking plain, I’m nowhere near your level or have nothing in common with you. What I do know is that I consider you my friend, so please listen. As your friend, I’m asking to stop and rest, you can really use a bath!” He shouted.
Suddenly, the ground started to rumble, as a tremendous amount of kinetic energy surrounded them. Knowing what was about to happen, they tried to incapacitate him, “Midoriya, NO!!!!” Kaminari tried but Izuku blasted his power through them with a small shockwave pushing them down. Now escaped he floated past them, trying to escape again.
“He broke through Womb: Ragaronok?!” Tokoyami said while surprised by it. “Such power to try to escape while surrounded by Dark Shadow and my Binding Dupli Tape” Shoji added back. He then checked on Kaminari who suffered a blank state, who also had blood dripping out of his stomach. ‘A punctured stomach wound? How? Did Midoirya do this? Based on what it looked like, it looked like a punch scarred through his stomach, such a deep wound could be deadly? Was he trying to kill him?’ Shoji thought while using his quirk to see where Midoriya was flying off to.
Jiro stated, “How much power is he concealing, just how much power does One for All hold?” With a statement like that in shock, just how far will Midoriya go through.
Izuku once again tried to dodge but was caught off by a large ice wall where he got smacked inside. Todoroki uses his right side to incapacitate him from moving. “Midoriya, I can already tell even with your mask covering it that you have been broken. All this time, you've been helping me with my family problems and I didn’t realize that you were suffering too! You've been out there and still no luck with the league! Please, I want you to share your burden with us so we can get through this as a class!”
On the nearest building close by, Asui appeared. “Midoriya, please! I can’t let you do this on your own. You're dear to me! I know back then I was scared of losing any of my friends because of trying to follow what's right. But I’m not going to weep and mope around anymore! Deku, If you want to remain strong like a comic book superhero, then we as Class A won't let you go at it alone! You have us, trust us, have faith in us!” She pleaded with him to listen to how she grew this past year and what’s changed.
Shoto then said with some sense, “Don’t you think for one second that All for One wanted this to happen, and that right now he can take this opportunity to attack our school. So if you really want to protect UA, then please consider letting all of us join in the fight!”
Every word he heard. Everything they're trying to do makes sense. But the havoc he saw, that All for One, Shigarki, Dabi, Toga, Spinner and every villain looking for him. The way bad guys went after the fox-like woman, on how Lady Nagant was used as collateral damage, the chaos All for One caused! And the past trauma he suffered since he was quirkless has surfaced in his mind again!
“All.. of… you… All of you… CAN’T KEEP UP WITH ME!!!! THIS BATTLE IS BETWEEN US, NOT YOU!!!! YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT I WENT THROUGH, YOU WERE ALL GIFTED, WHILE I SUFFERED!!!!” Izuku shouted so loud that everyone heard him.
With just pure raw strength, he broke out of Todoroki’s Heavenly Peirce Wall and zipped right through them. Froppy jumped towards him using her tongue to catch him with only Izuku instinctively used his arms to grab her tongue and then swung her tongue along with your body around and around.
This caught on by everyone as this was something that Izuku wouldn’t do. Him attacking them?! That wasn’t on the agenda and not once this played on everyone’s mind! So he threw her away at Mineta who was trying to catch Midoriya with his purple orbs only to be slammed down by Asui causing a crater at the lowest building.
He then started to charge up Fajin, only to be succumbed by Yaoyorozu who grabbed him. She then attached a quirk canceling cuffs which was created with a cylinder cloth made of tungsten, metal ninetyl alloy, and repressed grips. “Izuku! Please! We're here to assist you! We were all here to help you with the burden you're holding! Please, we all want you back. Whatever problems you're dealing with, we’ll help you!
As Deku was battling her in a tug of war grip, from the skies came Ochaco who used her quirk to touch Deku and made him weightless so the tug of war battle can be easily won, with now Uravity then helped pull the metal rope to their side. “Deku, please listen to us! Things are a lot different from back then, because now I will make my goal to bring you home! We don’t want to be protected all the time, we want to help protect those who need our protection and that’s you!” Having stuck in a bind, Izuku then forces his arm to max out to 100%.
“ARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!” With that, his screams echoed as his arm bursts exploded, with his arm messed up it also broke the chains, which was an opportunity to escape. Having stored up enough kinetic energy, he used a back whip to propel himself away from them, only to be stopped when Bakugou went up ahead to him and blasted him with his own move. “Cluster!” He propelled his explosion to Deku’s face which caused him to unbalance. With just that, brief flashbacks of his torments from him spark some kind of adrenaline in him. Knowing he may lose conscience, he snapped out and snapped back in just one moment.
“Deku! Right now, there is a lot of shit I have to say! So please stand still and-” After that, words couldn't be heard, from Izuku’s standpoint he couldn’t hear anything from Bakugou’s mouth, but only seeing the past dark times he lived in before.
‘Stand still while I beat you up, be a nice boy and take your beating you worthless piece of garbage.’
BOOM
A young Bakugou and a Young Midoriya were seen as the ash blonde haired kid used his explosions again on a badly beaten green haired kid.
‘HA! I guess you are worth something after all Deku, you can be my personal punching bag. And you better not tell your parents either on what happened. Auntie Inko wouldn’t believe you either way. She likes me more than her own son and your father- oh wait, you don’t have one! You're all alone with no one caring about you when you die! Face it Izuku! You’ll die alone and will always be alone!’
With that cruel statement, he continued with his beatings. No one helped Izuku when he needed it. So just that moment helped bring back to what he needed to do, the only person you can trust

Still floating in the sky, Bakugou looked at Deku who seemed to be knocked out but didn't bother to see the reaction of Izuku's hand as it was preparing for something. Something that would bring his downfall.
“Alright… I think he’s knocked out… let’s get this right int-”
In just that one single second, no one looked too fast. No one reacted quickly, but is too sure of what has happened. With all the rage he has succumbed to, Izuku unleashed the strength he has to go overboard and used his badly broken teared up arm to supercharge everything he’s got into a massive pierced smash to Bakugou’s abdomen.
SMMMAAASSSSSSHHHHHH
Just like that, a huge and powerful force of air repulsion shattered the body of the bully and pierced through his skin. As slowly the shockwave dyed down, Katsuki couldn’t do anything but stare up at what he witnessed first hand leaving a hole inside his stomach.
All of the class was staring shockingly at what had happened. Izuku Midoriya just straight up attacked Bakugou… like he was going to kill him…
“HARRGGGHHH” With his yell, Izuku then proceeded to attack Bakugo with his forehead as he charged up and headbutted his face, smacking his entire face repeatedly and then fired off his good arm to punch him down to the ground. As he repeatedly attacks again and again and again and again.
He then threw him with Blackwhip as he started to unleash his tendrils to cover his badly injured arm while using his good arm but still hanging on with the tendrils to capture him. Izuku then tightly held his hand and slammed on Bakugou’s head trying to keep himself from awake before he lost consciousness. The ravage screamed again using both hands to punch nonstop at the one that has caused him more harm.
“AAAAAHHHHHH!!!” The explosive teen felt like his body was on fire with losing blood everywhere.
“This… THIS… is what I felt. Every. Single. DAY!” Izuku has come to terms that he has lost and needs to let it out on the person who made his life a living hell.
This wasn’t just talking sense, this was just… rage. Rage that has been concealed for a very long time.
“YOU MADE ME THIS WAY!!!! I HOPE YOUR OUT OF MY LIFE!!!” Izuku then charged Fajin, Float and One for All to boost himself up. Having enough time with him, he needs to leave otherwise he’ll pass out from exhaustion and the last thing he wants is to be back in an environment where he feels trapped and forced to live off the rules.
Momo snapping out of it, that needs to be dealt with later. “Hurry! This is our chance to get him!” Todoroki snapped out of it and made a giant ice ramp, and a rail created by Yaomomoi. Ashido then swishes off her Acidman, who is held by Shoji, Sato, Koda and Tokoyami. They pushed the one person that can catch up to Deku so they moved forward, as Shoto blasts the person in front of him up the ice ramp with his Flashfreeze Heatwave.
It was the Class rep himself, Tenya Iida who used his Recirpo Burst at full maximum, who almost caught up to Deku.
“GO!” Uraraka and Yaoroaozu yelled! “YOU CAN DO IT!” Everyone yelled at their Class Rep gen that this may be their last hope. Iida’s hand was almost touching Izuku’s, almost close to saving him………….

A shot was fired at Iida that peirce through, as his entire body was angled differently.
Just an inch away from reach Izuku’s hand, which now felt like Izuku’s presence had left them and Iida was crashing down hard as his angle was directly heading and plumbing to the ground. As he falls, Kirishima, being the only one who saw Iida falling out, decides to use his unbreakable form to catch Iida which he successfully does. From what he saw, a bullet shot through his torso, nothing lethal but it isn’t tickling him either.
“Oh no…” Kirishima said. Now realizing might be seriously hurt. “You guys, get the medics here, I don’t think he’s moving. Please!”
Hagakure and Aoyama heard this and saw that their friend left and it showed that they had failed. Endeavor was with them and already could tell that they weren't able to save him, which means that Izuku is hellbent on being saved. Hearing an alarm going off his phone, it was revealed that the tracker placed on Deku was broken meaning the tracker is now broken, meaning there's no way to track him down. For the first time in a while, he felt so pissed that defyment was at its fullest, and now their only ace is gone to who knows where…
All of Class A felt numb that their big rescue plan turned out to be a blunder.
Momo was the only one who could say something while breaking down in tears, “Izu-Izuk-u- Izuku…… why?!”
It just came to light that they were sent to save their friend from the darkness… but they failed… and they were left with failure, injuries, and hearts broken… From their standpoint, their friend betrayed them.
In the shadows, the purple and pink haired assassin was now tracking Izuku, only if she could make it in time.
Aftermath
“Those are the reports of what several members of Class A had said, and unfortunately I’m afraid they failed in bringing Midoriya back to campus… Right now we are still having leads on scraps or pieces of clothing that fell through the battle. With the tracker destroyed, it’s impossible to pinpoint his location but he couldn’t have gotten away that far considering he’s fatigued and exhausted with no sleep. We’ll inform you in case we have a lead sir. ” Ectoplasm said over the phone
“Yes thank you for telling me, I’ll let you know if there have been developments. Goodbye for now.” Nezu had concluded his call. For the first time in so long, Nezu has actually felt frustrated that things are starting to fall apart. He made his mind when he let Midoriya leave UA to finish his business with the league officially before he ruined his own career. Since he was accepted, he was already under UA’s protection and was made sure that there was someone with him to keep him safe. Then he made the decision to let his friends come get him before he got himself killed, and the fact that he retaliated back against them was a shock to his own calculations. Someone as pure as him that would never hurt anyone even Bakugo despite the hardships, he thought that Midoriya would be declined from the tension, but it turns out that he has backbone and decided to think for himself selfishly.
Nezu then made his way to his office but not without thinking of their next game plan. ‘This has started to get more frustrating. I can’t believe one of my own students forced his way out of it and now is someone out killing himself bit by bit. His mother is already getting more antsy on what am I doing to ensure his safety… Then again, even if he was brought here, the evacuees would not agree to it. Many are finding out that the villains are after him and are protesting more and more and probably would blame him for everything that has been going on. Despite my efforts, they will not give us any chance to explain or listen’.
He kept thinking more to himself as he got closer to his office. ‘With everyone dividing and losing faith in us, I’m not sure if there’s anything that can help us gather together. I need to speak with government officials from different countries including the President of the United States and the Queen of England to ensure that we need the support we need. But I can’t think this ahead with the limited heroes we have. Not to mention, without One for All, our chances of winning are not in our favor. If only Izuku Midoriya wasn’t this stubborn to do this all on his own, chances are we could have succeeded if there had been a chance to prevail in this war. Maybe… if One for All was wielded by a different person like…. Mirio Togota….… would the outcome be in our favor and secure a brighter future? Or would it matter if anyone would’ve wielded differently…’
The principal stopped on that question. He wouldn’t admit it to not play favoritism but personally Izuku Midoriya might be one of best things to come to UA. The way he is interested in taking notes on quirks and heroes and quickly analyzing it carefully with finding strengths and weaknesses. This caught the principal’s attention since dissecting quirks was a favorite of his when he started this job and to know someone was interested in a hobby like this could make an excellent career in quirk analyzer if the hero option was in his favor. Maybe… that could be a good thing, honestly he was about to send in an internship to help to acknowledge and teach him all about what he knows, but he knew that One for All’s responsibilities were important to learn so Izuku can become the next symbol of peace. But from what he has learned, the young teenager has been damaging himself to the brink of death, like the entire world is tearing him down while he can’t put a smile to his face. The principal of UA knew there was something putting him down, but the question is what is it? Is it more than just one thing? He wonders if he was the only or more could be affected? He couldn’t honestly blame them considering what they went through, many pro heroes dying including Majestic who saved them from the giant titan that almost crushed them. With so many heroes quitting, it comes to show that the future of the world of heroes may not be the same again.
He then opened his door while closing it once he entered. Waiting to get to this desk, he suddenly spotted something on it. It looked like a crystalized pyramid with a disc slot and what came with it was a disc and a letter.
Nezu looked confused on why it appeared all of sudden, no one told him someone dropped off at his desk. Quickly he looked at the security cameras in case someone entered his office but no sign of anyone. His windows were securely closed and if someone were to interrupt his office without authorization, an alarm would quickly notify the entire school in case of a villain threat.
The letter did interest him and decided to read it. As the letter kept going, Nezu looked at it more and more and realized that something was off… Everything was pre-determined and at this moment was like a lifeline. If what this letter said was true, this might be something that everyone he trusts must be notified. He stormed out leaving with the package he received and headed to the development studio.
One Week Later…
They had no idea but a lot of people were seated. Everyone was gathering around in the auditorium. Class 1-A and Class 1-B were sitting confused with no idea what's happening but what caught their interest more was the pro heroes and teachers with them.
The almost graduates of the Big Three, Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire were sitting on the front left of them.
Aizawa, Present Mic, Midnight, Ectoplasm, Cementoss, Snipe, Thirteen, Power Loader, and Vlad King were on the right side. Mount Lady, Kamui Woods, Edgeshot, Nighteye, Miruko, Best Jeanist and Hawks were in the upper right side of the auditorium. Endeavor was also there but seated away far from the pros but close enough.
Another thing was that there were a bunch of people that they don’t know but quite a few absolutely know. The Todoroki family includes Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Rei. Next to them was Inko Midoriya, the mother of Izuku Midoriya. Beside her were the parents of the Class 1-A resident explosion bomb, Mistuki and Marasu. Another family group was Asui’s, Ganma, Bell, and her siblings, Samidare and Satsuki. Even the Jiro and Yaoyorozu families were seated behind them.
Mei Hatsume was also there with an advanced complicated pyramid connected to the projector.
Shinso was also close to Class 1A since his position could be transferred to either Class A or B.
A few heroes were also there that they interacted like the four members of the Wild Wild Pussycats including Kota. The former hero Death Arms was there too, Nighteye’s sidekicks Bubble Girl and Centipeder, Gang Orca, Ms. Joke and even officers: Kenji Tsuragame and Naomasa Tsukauchi.
In the back row on the left side, Toshinori Yagi aka All Might was sitting by himself feeling depressed and not like the normal natural way he was, ever since Izuku left him it’s like he became an even bigger failure that he couldn’t help his protege.
Eri was sitting almost in the near front in a special chair just for her.
There was one more person that no one was familiar with, a tall fox-like woman was sitting in the left side of the first top row. Before anything said something, Endeavor came up to her and said “Excuse me Miss but this conference is really important and private, I’ll escort you to the nearest evacuation home.”
“Ummm… I was invited here. I got a call saying to meet here at the school's auditorium and have a seat. I swear I’m not making this up’ Josie said while a bit frightened by Endeavor’s demeanor, she’s heard and saw what he did to his family and now frightened she can be hurt by him. “Who sent you here?!” Endeavor trying to question her only to make her squeal with tears almost coming out of her eyes. Natsuo can already still feel like nothing has changed, even though he’s willing to work together to bring Touya down, he still feels disgusted by his father.
“I brought her here because she is needed for this matter” Nezu stated while coming towards the stage with a microphone on hand.
Kamui Woods then spoke “Why did you bring us all in here for? Right now, we’re still picking up pieces and trying to bring many citizens towards the evacuation centers.”
Ectoplasm chimed in saying “Right now, we’re in the midst of calming the civilians with us. With just a few heroes, we barely have time to rejoice.”
“Not to mention, we need to figure out a way on a strategy to lure and defeat the remaining villains. On top of that, is to figure out a way on how we can beat them given our ace has gone rogue and nowhere to be found” Best Jeanist claimed without knowing there was a flinch by Class A including an annoyed scoff by Bakugo.
Speaking of Bakugo, the hot headed boy was still recovering after that brutal assault by Deku. Never in a million years would the nerd fight back in life, even after receiving his quirk from All Might, the nerd still felt outpaced by him. Not once the nerd fought back after the secret was revealed by them, until now.
Still clenching his heart and stomach, it felt like his body was in a million pieces. For once the nerd fought like some kind of rabid dog and Bakugo was the result of his attacks. It felt like the nerd that never amounted to anything held a huge grudge against him. He knew everything he had done to Izuku for the last 10 years wasn’t going to go away in an instant but knowing the nerd, he would just move past it and move on. Turns out, that’s not the case.
‘What confuses me now, is why is Auntie Inko and my parents here? Why is that Hag and that Spineless coward here at all?! What the hell is going on?!’ Bakugou thought about trying to figure out why his parents were here.
Iida tried listening while still recovering from being shot from the sky. From the looks of it it looked serious but missed the main artery, but needed to take it easy for a while. What he doesn't understand is who shot him because he can tell this wasn't from Izuku, but someone with precision timing.
“Listen everyone, I’m sure everyone is confused on why we’re meeting here on these desperate terms. The reason here is that we’re going to watch a show!” Nezu said excitedly with popcorn in his hands.

The entire room was deadpanned. Was he serious?
“WHAT?!?!?!?!?” Everyone yelled finding this being ridiculous.
Midnight yelled "Are you serious?! We’re in the midst of getting everything sorted out and now you want to watch something unrelated to our desperate matters!”
“I find this to be ridiculous! We’re in need to patrol as many parts of the city. Lots of people have lost a lot of precious valuables and are insisting for us to retrieve their belongings.” Jurota exclaimed with the recent cries of protests.
His friend Shoda claimed “He’s right, and also why are there so many pros and citizens here? Isn’t this supposed to be classified information from what you announced before?” The rest of his class agreed, especially Monoma who then replied “Also, why is Class A here?! Shouldn’t they be looking for their prized hero that caused all of this?”
The rest of Class A stared angrily at what he accused their friend of.
Jiro then defended her friend “Hey Jackass! He’s done enough on helping and saving, how on earth did he cause all this?” “Exactly, we didn’t know anything about this until we found these letters” Sero said, adding back to Jiro’s defense.
“Midoriya didn’t do anything wrong. He has an important power but that doesn’t mean he started all of this” Kirishima said, trying to defend his classmate. Monoma retorted back “Oh this is new, for all of this time you have been behind that explosion boy back now all of sudden you want to defend the plain boy. Midoriya has been shown that he doesn’t want to be helped, especially recently given the injuries you’ve sustained.”
Another annoyed tick clouded over them, they still couldn’t believe he actually attacked them like they were the enemy. You can’t honestly blame them. Izuku was the type of person who is shy, mutters a lot, and always acts on whey keeping a good defense without trying to kill anyone while managing to push through when needed and he’s never the type of friend to attack with a violent nature with a grudge, that kind of stuff is something that Bakugou would do but not Izuku. It was like some kind of loner demon emerged and was ready to kill.
Kirishima stood up and said “Look, we had thought he would try to escape without hurting any of us while forcing himself through, none of us had any idea that he would attack us!”
“Sounds to me like you don’t know him at all, I guess there’s more to Izuku Midoriya that you didn’t realize. Sucks that the shy nerdiest kid of all turns out to be a demon of failure and loneliness, maybe it could’ve been better if he killed himself.” Monoma finished with a smirk off his face.
This caught the attention of everyone including Inko who is holding a lot of anger while clenching her fists. Ochaco and Momo are now angry and started to activate their quirks along with Kirishima, Kaminari and Jiro. Eri is trying to hold back her tears and Kota is getting angry with tears almost coming out. Bakugou felt a tremendous amount of anger and guilt clenching out all over him. It’s like his past is starting to leak out and it's showing right to his face.
Sooner or later, everyone starts arguing like crazy while heroes have gotten up and try to prevent this altercation. The families feel disgusted by what they just heard, especially Inko, Mitsuki and Masaru. The blonde's parents considered Izuku to be their unofficial nephew despite not being at their house for such a long time. Apparently they know about some kind of argument going down between Izuku and Katsuki but no one knows the real truth on what has happened between the two. But they considered him as family and would do anything for the poor boy.
All Might was also another person that got irradiated. He knew the legacy he held and wanted to give it towards the next generation of heroes, or did he? He considered Izuku as the son he never had and hearing this made his blood boil. ‘Just what has Young Midoriya been through that made him act this way. Was there something I missed or did I notice it but never did anything to act upon it.’
As he was thinking this, Nighteye saw everything that had happened and wondered something differently, ‘Looks like everything has gone off the rails as I feared. At this point, we may never have our future secure unless One for All was given like I originally wanted. If there was a way to get Midoriya here, I would guilt him and do what's necessary to make him give up One for All and hand it over to Lemillion. If that would’ve happened then maybe we wouldn’t be in this crisis. It’s just like I originally thought, Izuku Midoriya is not worthy.’ Nighteye to this day is still alive, but how?
Events turned out to be the same during the Shie Hassaikai Raid, but Izuku had tempted to change fate not just once, but twice. The injury that's supposed to happen at Nighteye, Izuku thwarted the attack but kicked with full force while still on the grudge match against Overhaul. Despite this, you would have thought that things would change differently, but Izuku once again defied all odds and was able to stop Overhaul by using Full Cowling: 100% with the help of Eri’s quirk. To this day, Nighteye was spared but still believes Izuku is not worthy of All Might’s legacy. He really believes Mirio can take on the mantle.
Lastly, one last person was thinking of wanting her hero back ‘Papa, where are you? Please come home, I need you!’ Eri thought while holding her knees towards her face while crying. Ever since she was saved, she considered Lemillion and Deku her heroes but she considered Deku, her protector. He spent a lot of time helping her with writing and reading, learning how to color, teaching her about everything she missed out. Now, all she wants is her unofficial father right by her.
Before anything went into full disaster, one person needed order.
All of a sudden, Nezu shouted with menacing eyes “ENOUGH!” Presenting a dark aura coming out of him, everyone then stopped yapping their mouths and went back to their designated seats.
“Look I get everyone is on edge with everything but right now is not the time to be pointing fingers at anyone. Now the reason why I gathered all of you here is because you are required to. From what I learned, every single one of you is in desperate terms of the calamity the villains had done and are in danger of being affected by unforeseen circumstances.”
This caught everyone's attention. Vlad King spoke “What do you mean sir?” Nezu then quickly replied, “ When I went to my office, I found a package containing a crystalized pyramid with a disc and a note saying information that piqued my interest, and I have reason to believe that everything in this letter is true. So please listen while I read this.” The mammal then read the note that was given.

What has appeared on your desk is something that needs to be played. I’m sure you're wondering what it is, who brought it to you, and why is this necessary? What am I about to tell you is classified information that should only be entrusted to the ones that are listed on this paper. You see, I delivered it. In case you're wondering who I am, I happen to be a guardian of some sort. A gatekeeper of universes that share knowledge throughout tej cosmos and interfere when it’s necessary. For names, you can call me, The ‘Doorway Guardian’ Janus. I’m the gatekeeper of doorways towards multiple universes across the galaxies. I happen to stumble upon your universe, which is in deep crisis. The war has taken upon itself with casualties and destruction all by the Tenko Shimura or as you refer to as Tomura Shigaraki.
Things have taken a turn with everything that has happened and now there are more losses, many people have turned against you. There was an old saying that went like and I quote “In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually they will hate you”. Turns out that has happened. Not to mention, one of your students went rogue and is now acting upon himself with a grudge and not wanting anyone to help in his business since all of you couldn’t keep up. And before you start up, let me stop you and say that if you think you can keep up, if you couldn’t save your friend, then that makes you the weakest that you ever know. But I’m not here to talk about your losses and your failures, I’m here to help. If your universe's time keeps up, then I’m afraid a lot of people are going to get killed and that includes everyone in this room and that includes Izuku Midoriya, but there is a way to stop this and help plan and prevail your war. In order to win this, you need Izuku Midoriya and I’m not talking about his quirk, I’m talking about what he is defined as. All of you may have known since he started UA or some may know him from saving, or acquaintance or knocking him from birthing him but what remains a fact is that you think you know everything about him, but honestly you really don’t. Instead of forcing him to come home, it's best to look at it as a different scenario in the most realistic way.
This little pyramid is a projector that helps project the disc that came with it. The disc contains a series of events that happened in a different universe and based on my calculations, the disc that you will be playing will help better understand him and realize that one little action could have a series of chain effects. In case you doubt that this would help, it takes one spoiled apple to spoil the rest. You should be lucky to have him because if a different path forged him in your universe, then I’m afraid that the outcome of the planet would result in serious negative consequences. It’s all based on the Butterfly Effect. Moving on from that, playing the disc will show the time of what has happened in that universe and how one’s decision could change history altogether. The reason why I’m showing this instead of any other universe is because your universe has the similar corrections and mistakes that both have on itself. This could be your only chance in changing it and correcting all of your wrong doings, especially the spoiled explosion brat.
What you will learn is our hidden secrets, truths will be revealed including ones you already know and ones that you don't know of, but everyone in this room has a right to know and how can it change for the better. Trust me when I say this, once this plays, there's no going back. What you will learn will make you feel happy, sad, angry, and confused. What you’ll see, you will know for sure that everyone has their own opinion but there will always be consequences for every action. Like a familiar villain once said and I quote, “the past never dies.”
Once all has been done, the disc will immediately be disintegrated as no one besides this room can not see this. Please keep this information to yourself. This will help guide and ensure that one decision of a ripped dream, could impact the entire world. It may have been too late to change the resolution of heroes in that universe but it’s not too late for this one. Watch and learn as you see the events of ‘The Best Case Scenario, if you’re being “realistic.”’

After Nezu read the letter, people were in shock listening to this. A disc gifted by the guardian of multi dimensional doorways containing information of a different universe. Has everything that Nezu spoke of was just nonsense or was this real. No one could deny that the problems were at large and some things were said that affect them but everything was seen by a gatekeeper, and watching a series would help tip the balance of the further destruction that was still coming.
Endeavor, despite at first thought it was just a prank, the quote on how the past never dies, was something that Dabi said during their battle when he revealed himself as his long dead first born son. No one heard this except Shoto, so how could anyone hear this besides them. Was this letter true?
Aizawa went ahead and viewed the list of people and it turns out that everyone was here. He took another glance at the pyramid projector and realized this isn’t anywhere from here. Power Loader and Hatsume were working on installing it and were still baffled on something like this existing still the device was too advanced from any technology that was ever heard of. If every single thing was true, then this might be something leaning onto.
“I know everyone is skeptical but this letter contained exclusive information that was hidden inside the letter that was encoded and I will be sharing it later after this. I checked cameras everywhere and no one gave this out, it just showed up and contained info before I announced it with the gatekeeper's accusation towards Bakugo and Monama’s claim afterwards.
“Then that means, it’s really real… holy crap it’s actually real.” Mineta pointed out while freaking out. One by one, everyone then started to realize that what they are seeing is a godlike object that was gifted by them, for what is essential, then maybe seeing this could help turn the tables on their side.
Nezu quickly stated “ I will play this but before that happens, let’s get a few things out of the way. What we're watching is sensitive information that cannot be shared by anyone. Remember if everything is true and this gatekeeper is watching us, then it's safe to assume that he would act upon itself and interfere if it's necessary. What we are watching will contain info that we might know and don't know so please, what is shared will be discussed. Without being said, let's start watching. She then got everything hooked up and said, “We are good to go! I want to see what kind of universe Muscles was and how big of a hero he is with my babies!” With that she pressed play, but not without a few glances at Hatsume who has an interest in the green haired hero and a certain mother is questioning the term, ‘babies’.
With it now being played, the big screen showed a whirling of actions containing everything within it. What they are about to see will change their lives, after all…
