It wouldn’t stop burning.
Every blink useless, every gulp a sure death, and muscles on the brink of tearing apart. The acrid smoke billowed through the gaping rents of his mask, the searing heat charring flesh & costume in equal measure. The whole structure lurched as the final supports were about to give way.
‘One more… Please.’
He launched himself across blazing floors, the young babe’s screeching almost mute as he subsumed to Spider-Sense. The crackling of wood beneath his torched soles foretold the inevitable, even as the window’s glow seemed so close. Just as he was about to dive, the child clutched deep within his breast, the inferno below surged up, a whirling cone of enraged flame that cast its entire surroundings out.
“NO!” The rasp died in his throat as he was blasted out. His world slowed momentarily, wide, tear-ridden orbs taking in glistening shards & the cleansing sunlight, before it all came crashing down. The frigid winds swept past his face, the ground nearing closer while the baby’s shrieks echoed in his head.
He closed his eyes, bracing for the worst, facing the incoming pavement back first.
The shot of many a web made his heart stop.
In a blink, his wounded form was flung towards the adjacent rooftop several blocks down. Crashing onto cool asphalt, he rolled clumsily before resting upon his back. A meager groan was all he could muster, straining to take in lungfuls before a sudden shadow loomed over.
“You fucking nimrod!” Grimacing, squinting, and wheezing at once, his blurred vision steadily sharpened, the blackened figure blocking the sun. When those pointed blonde strands came into focus, together with scarlet eyes & scowling visage, again his heart seized.
“Wha- what? Kacch- Katsuki?”
“Ring a ding ding, your head’s still on straight enough. We thought it’d be turned 180 by now.”
“But- but this makes no sense! How could you be here?! Why are you here?! Wha-” Small details never eluded him, nor the big ones. “THE BABY!”
“Calm your ass down.” Turning his head, peering over the ledge, his adjusting eyes could still make out the crowd. Powerful bursts from pressurized cannons, harried crowds recording, and a wailing single mother grasping her beloved child in maternal relief. A child with a line of onyx webbing stuck to the back of its scorched shirt.
Eyes widening, he swiftly turned, arms failing to obey as adrenaline surged. As his gaze returned to Katsuki, fear festered. From that eternal glare to his spiked cut, his all black clothing began to spread across him. Slithering tendrils enveloped him, morphing his broad, muscled figure further into one of mountainous yet humanoid proportions. Yet it was Katsuki’s head, encased by organic strands & forming a familiarly shaped mask, a cruel mockery of his own, that confirmed this living nightmare.
“Hello, Izuku.” A hiss, one ridden with sadistic intimacy, that burrowed straight to his chilled soul.
“No!” Terror freed his limbs, launching up onto his ailing feet. “Not you! Not either of you! Katsuki, the klyntar-”
Izuku cried out as he fell back, unable to stabilize. As he writhed, Katsuki approached. A single step made the roof rumble, a series of them quaking it as if the building could barely uphold their weight.
“It & I are just fine together, Deku,” they sneered whilst eyeing Izuku’s writhing body, the contrast in strength more palpable than ever. “Even after a decade, you’re still the same self-righteous puppet who’ll turn himself into a pathetic mess.”
“Why?!” Teary eyes, hardening in resistance, never wavered from those crimson blotches. “Why come back?! After everything I’ve been through with you, with It, why?!”
Raising a clawed hand, a cluster of obsidian tentacles enveloped Izuku. Clashing with the red & blue, they held him firm in spite of his immense spider strength. As he squirmed and huffed, unable to break the hold, he was brought mere inches from Katsuki’s symbiotic face, it parting to reveal his human features.
“To help, Deku. We are driven by you as much as we can’t stand you for your insolence, your betrayal.” Katsuki licked his lips, his irises gleaming as they always have. “Only we get to make you squirm.”
“What the hell, Kacchan?!”
“WE ARE NOT KACCHAN!” The bellow almost blew his tattered mask off, two pairs of eyes burrowing right into his. “We are more! We are one! We are the venom that purges those who prey on the weak! The venom that will never stop filling your dreams and nightmares! We are VENOM to Izuku Midoriya, to Spider-Man!”
“What have you even become?! Katsuki, It will-” The patch of symbiote clamped onto his mouth left him muffled but not silenced, grunting harshly as Venom spoke with the unity of one.
“We chose each other. Katsuki accepted our gift of his own free will, the same gift you rejected from us. We will not be spurned.” Ceasing with a whisper, Venom pressed their free hand against one of Izuku’s wounds, a caress sudden & gentle. “And we will never ignore your pain, no matter how much you ignored ours.”
Shivering at the familiar alien touch as much as the cool organic tendrils, Spider-Man eased only just within the symbiote’s grasp. The gag rescinded, him taking in a full breath as his mind raced. Despite the myriad of emotions coursing through him, the usual curiosity shined through.
“Katsuki… Venom, what do you want from me? If you’re speaking truthfully, why aren’t you just finishing me off?”
“Because I- We just said we’ll help you, dumbass,” growling, they eased their tentacular hold in turn, both in sync with intent. “And you’re not limp swinging your way back to Queens in this state. Unless you think Mama Midoriya won’t notice your burnt ass this time around.”
“Watch your-” A yelp fled him as they were suddenly airborne, Venom swinging far more violently than Izuku ever did. Despite Katsuki & the symbiote’s claim, he still held his breath as he was swung in tow. The dusking sun added to the reluctant midair acceptance that he was in no shape to swing home in time. Once they had reached what he assumed was Katsuki’s apartment, the awkward mix of anxiety and interest roiling within his gut perturbed him as much as this bizarre reunion.

“He’s never out this late! Never! Please, Izuku, where are you?!” Her pacing could’ve left imprints on the kitchen tile, slippers pattering as her hands refused to stop rubbing each other. The ringtone almost stopped her heart.
“The phone!” Rushing over, she nearly ripped the cord free. “Hello?!”
“Hi, mom.”
“IZUKU! BABY, WHERE ARE YOU?!” His eyes widened as he yanked his cellphone away, Katsuki & It snarling away from the abrupt volume.
“Speaker wasn’t the best idea of mine…”
“What was that, sweetheart?!”
“Nothing, mom! Nothing at all!” His hand still motioned at the phone, as if he was right before her. “I’m safe. I know I’m out way too late, but I had to get some last minute shots for work, and I was on patrol too.”
“Oh, thank god! My baby, I’ve been worried sick! I didn’t know if you were hurt or-” Tears welled up as Inko clutched at her chest, struggling to keep steady.
“Mom, I… You know the risks and so do I,” he huffed, fighting for the right words. “I saved a baby from a fire today, but it took a lot out of me.”
“Oh god, Izuku! Please, come home right now!”
“Mom, I told you I’m safe. I’m with… well…” His sight turned to Katsuki, their pointed gazes meeting his own as they remained on the other end of the couch.
“Who, baby?! Where are you?!”
“Do you… remember Katsuki?” Even as he spoke to her, he refused to break the mutual stare, the moment of truth at hand.
“Katsuki? Sweetheart, of course, but are you sure you’re safe? After everything you’ve told me?” Venom’s glare softened, head lowering only just, another kind of vexation filling his symbiotic being.
“Believe it or not, mom, but I think so.” Izuku’s gaze eased a touch, the concern giving way to a sentiment he had always feared returning. “He helped me, saved me and the baby too. He’s… changed in ways I never thought he could. They could, pardon.”
“I… see. But if that’s the case, still, be careful, sweetheart. Now, could you please tell me where you are?”
“Katsuki’s apartment. It’s in Manhattan. I’ll text you the full address just in case.”
“Good. But please, Izuku, whatever happens, please stay safe. I’ll pray for you, like I always have.” They noted his blush, of Mama Midoriya’s statement of prayer. Decades of human memories linked to childhood and onwards. It welcomed it, They welcomed it as he did.
“I will, mom. I love you.”
“I love you too, baby.” The click of the phone echoed within the spacious living room, the dim lighting reinforcing the shadowed space. Both men inhaled deeply, their thoughts collected yet daunting.
“You told her?”
“After the night I rejected the klyntar- Venom, I decided to tell her everything.” He winced as the countless wounds stung, Katsuki’s balms slow acting. “I couldn’t stand the thought of her experiencing a night where I didn't come home and her never knowing why.”
“We never wanted to kill you, Izuku.” Both pairs of crimson eyes shined, a voice synthesized by the two people he was once so close to yet feared. “In our rage, our fury, we couldn’t stand your rejection, even after all we gave. But we still hurt you…”
“I still hurt you,” sighing harshly, Katsuki averted his gaze down, fists clenching. “I was wrong. We were wrong. And still we hurt you, before U.A, after U.A, and even now.”
Silence reigned for a time, either men processing the others’ words. The briefest of exhales plus the gentle whirling of the fan gave much needed background for them both. As Izuku rested his head back, flexing his fingers into usual formation, he took in a solemn breath.
“Despite everything you, It, have done to me, I… still want you in my life.” His own fists balled, courage filling his chest. “But don’t ever think that I’ll forget that day on the roof, or how you tried to stop me from rejecting you. Both of you. Understood?”
“Understood.” Katsuki & Venom squirmed momentarily, growling at themselves. Those memories returned, each one a striking guilt to their heart. They embraced it, refusing to ever cast aside responsibility as they previously did.
“How… how is Mama Mitsuki?” Their eyes flew open, unexpected yet welcomed.
“The old hag is… she’s good. She’s never let me forget either, still pushing me to do the best I can.” A blush of their own emerged. “She misses you too.”
“That’s good to hear.” The first smile of the night, soft & gentle, that all three were surprised by. “Does she know about you two?”
“How could she not? I stepped in after the church all pissed off and I got a nonstop scream lecture. I… reacted badly.”
“What did you do?” Even burnt, his muscles tensed as his eyes narrowed.
“Goddamn it, it’s not what you think!” Both of them snarled, those rows of needle teeth too familiar. “I scared her, we scared her! We broke down at her fucking feet, all I could do was scream!”
“And despite it all, that woman still got onto a knee and fucking held me like she just popped me out.” Their tears flowed freely as they clutched their head, their form tearing between symbiotic & casual blacks. “I- We couldn’t take it anymore. I told that hag everything, every goddamn detail, and she just held me tight as I confessed what a big piece of shit I was to you, to her, to everyone I ever gave a damn about.”
“Good.” The tone’s sharpness could have shattered glass. “She’s always been good at that. And for all the genuine good you’ve done, you still need to deal with the consequences of your actions.”
“We know. Believe us, we know. All those goddamn ramblings about responsibility you used to serenade us with are still fresh.” They sunk into the cushion, their musculature firm & stout as they leaned back, tears drying. “Fucking Deku, still the same as before.”
“Well, now I can’t tell which memories you’re referring to.” A meek excuse for a chuckle huffed past his lips. “Of all the people in the world for the klyntar to bond with…”
“You’re telling us, Spider-Man,” their sneer joined a toothy grin, menacing & promising at once. “Little nerd like you would come up with such a stupid name.”
“Hey, my fans would beg to diff-” The spike of pain ripped a bark from him, fingers curling harshly into the sofa. Venom was on him instantly, a smooth hand upon callused shoulder.
“More?” Whether the growl or touch made him shake, he certainly had no time to hyperfocus on that.
“Y-yeah.” Grimacing, he controlled his breaths, sight swapping between their face and his own wounds. “I think lying down now would help.”
“Our bed it is.” His eyes widened at that, blush blooming just as quickly as he rose within a pair of strong, cool arms.
“You know exactly what you’re doing, aren’t you?”
“Got any objections to that, little spider?” As if that blush of his could burn any hotter, or how rapidly his head could swing back & forth.
“If you call me that again, I swear I’ll-”
“Or you’ll what, Deku?” Their face was mere inches away, tongue licking their own lips. “You always needed us to take the lead anyway.”
If he wasn’t already lightly toasted from flames, his temperature would’ve set him ablaze.
“Asshole…” The shiest curse they ever heard from him, one worthy of a snort.
“Not ours, yours.”
“Katsuki!” The bash against their mighty pecs was barely felt, a sneering cackle filling the comfortable apartment. Entering their hallowed abode, they felt Izuku quiver as his eyes hungrily took in their room.
“You… You still have Captain Might’s limited edition figurines?! And Moon Eraser’s autographed scarf?! How did you even get Midnight Widow’s kiss print on a handkerchief?!”
“Jesus Christ…” they growled, plopping Izuku onto bare, thin sheets. “Your chance of having sex tonight is going down to the point digits if you keep this up.”
“Sex?! I thought you were getting me naked to fix my wounds!” That stupid, cheeky grin, contrasting against a scarred face, riled them in more ways than one.
“You little shit!” Clambering atop him, both hands planted on either side of his head, their symbiotic suit reemerging. Within the large split jaw was Katsuki’s face, hovering just above Izuku’s.
“You won’t stop squirming when we’re done with you, Deku. Every goddamn cell will bear our mark on you. You won’t ever forget us, in your sweetest dreams or darkest nightmares.”
“Didn’t I say that I wouldn’t ever forget what you do?” His heartbeat was deafening, palms clammy at his sides, but his gaze never averted from those beautiful scarlets.
“That you did. But this?” Their tongue slithered out, undulating teasingly as it extended towards his marked cheeks. “We’ll make sure you remember us the right way for once, as the Venom that purges you of all your weakness, your fear, and your pain.”
“Wouldn’t that make you Anti-Venom then?”
“Shut the fuck up and take our tongue,” their breaths joined their lips, huffs of relief at last. Izuku moaned gently as his mouth was devoured, a taste he never thought he’d savor again. Theirs had become one, a blend that his racing brain would happily overstimulate on again & again. His marred hands carefully wrapped around their wrists, pressure exact and encouraging.
Growling, they heeded him, the kiss deepening. They could recall every last moment with him, all those years merging with their newfound host’s own. The beat of the heart, the warmth of the flesh, the self-stimulations, not one beautiful aspect of him had changed despite it all.
Just as their tongue tickled the back of his throat, they felt his hands squeeze. Withdrawing at once, a shallow pant fled Katsuki while Izuku sucked in much needed air. Glistening with combined spit, strands hanging limply, their tongue lapped at his cheek as their lids opened.
“Holy…”
“Shit.” Their breathing synced with his, neither moving an inch. “We’ve missed being inside you… so much.”
“Well…” he grunted, squirming beneath them as he readied himself, “I’ve missed being one with you, with It, despite everything.”
“Are you sure?” Their alert eyes shifted to a solemn visage, their primal urge chained, eager. “You’re still burnt.”
“It, you can help with that, remember? Accelerated healing.” His half-lidded face plucked at their strings, carnal need all too clear as he squeezed their wrists. “I want my suit. I want my Katsuki. My Kaachan.”
“Deku… Izuku.” Their tendrils snaked across bare flesh, the charred remnants of his costume subsumed by cooling ooze, latching tight in craving.
“Ours.”
In a wave, Venom’s bulk encompassed Spider-Man’s stout frame, countless tentacles enveloping them within a homely onyx cocoon. Their tongue returned to his throat, moans louder than ever before. They felt his hands slide up, cupping their neck as he furthered the kiss.
Panting, his fingers dug into their nape, needy for every inch of that tongue. Thoughtlessly, he parted his symbiote covered legs, wrapping them around theirs. His uncut cock pulsed lively, head already caked in precum, his hole clenched with need. The sensation of them pulling their hips back only sweetened his longing.
“Going to fucking ruin you,” their snarl was of two voices, one ancient, one youthful, yet virile all the same. Their massive cock throbbed with life, all 19 inches erect, as their weighty balls churned with symbiotic seed. The mere tap of their cockhead against his sphincter had him trembling.
“You grew yours too?!”
“Who do you think we got the idea from, you filthy fucking nerd.” Pulling their tongue out at last, their forehead pressed against his, their scarlet orbs the sole color within the cocoon. “About time I tasted you down here.”
As their foreheads remained connected, the suit formed a spindly tentacle that neared Izuku’s waiting hole. Parting at the head, another moist tentacle emerged. Moistened with saliva & alien lubricant, it wasted no time in slathering the puckering asshole, dipping with ravenous hunger.
“Oh god…” The sharp inhale left him frozen within their grasp, toes curling & uncurling, as the moment approached. The bestial bliss on their face only made his beating heart tighten.
“Kaachan, I- I’m ready.”
“Shh.” Venom’s razor sharp maw, salivating strings, lowered to Spider-Man’s neck, tongue lathering the delicate flesh. Their gargantuan member aligned with his hole, spare tentacle swaying to his weeping cockhead, before thrusting forth with strength.
Katsuki’s bellow rippled the cocoon, barely a quarter of his length, yet gripped by sweet tightness. Izuku’s face was etched in shock, eyes wide & breath stolen, only a choked gasp escaping him. His fingers clawed down their neck onto their sweat drenched back, stabbing in as his delighted cries were drowned out by savage howls.
“SO TIGHT!” Their teeth immediately sunk into his shoulder, blood flooding their mouth as their tongue lathered the punctures just as quickly. His shrieks of agonized bliss were a beautiful addition to their debauched cacophony, better so once they felt his nails in their back.
“More! Don’t stop!” Izuku cried through clenched teeth, legs anchored tightly around theirs. He met Katsuki’s humps with his own slams, hips undulating harshly as he strained to take as much as he could.
Their free tentacle, still lapping at his throbbing member, latched onto the cum covered head. Securing itself with monstrous suction, it hungrily slurped his aching prick. Sucking without mercy, its efforts bore fruit as it gulped spurts of his rich, milky ropes that pulsed forth.
“KAACHAN!” Sparks twinkled across his vision, every nerve zapped by the sharpest of pleasures. His legs quaked around theirs, unfurling as the tremors spread across his form.
The taste of his cum set their instincts alight. With a furious bellow, they nearly crushed him within their massive arms, their hips ramming forth with primal abandon. A quarter of their absurd length strained to remain inside, sheer size its own weakness. The tightening of his sphincter ripped a harsh snarl from them as their own release was unleashed.
The rush of relief mirrored the deluge of their seed, flooding them with pleasure. Their hips did not relent, the primal heat engulfing them human & symbiote alike. Those emerald eyes, ruffled grassy strands, beautiful scars, the memories of him, all together joined as they filled him with the desire they held for so long.
With a huff, Venom collapsed atop Izuku. The softest whimper passed his lips, returning still from orgasmic heights, their lumbering weight adding to the intimacy. His nails embedded within their back, not moving an inch, as they cherished this moment.
Lifting themselves only just, they stared at him as he did so in turn. Flushed cheeks, half lids, glimmering sweat in the dark of the cocoon, all three bared before one other. Slow, heated breaths drew them into the alluring depths of sleep, foreheads rubbing one last time.
“My little spider…” The gentlest exhale, drawing forth the sweetest tears, as they embraced the darkness.
“Kaachan…”
*
Dreamless darkness gave way to a deafening silence, a rare & unsettling pleasure among others. Chirping birds along with hellish traffic were what brought him out of beauty sleep usually, not to mention a lonely bed. As he let out the gentlest of hums, eyelids fluttering, the events of the night rushed back.
“Ahh…” Izuku’s lips paused, realizing the imposing behemoth atop him. Gazing at them, the relaxed, if somber, expression of Katsuki’s slumbering state had a tender smirk arising. Easing his head back onto the pillow, he inhaled deeply, savoring this fleeting warmth.
“Goddamn Deku…” A blush & titter was his response, tendrils wriggling all around as the cocoon began to recede. All three were bathed in golden sunrise, spiky blonde and ruffled emerald illuminated brilliantly. The sight of those scarlets meeting his greens, shining in reflection, would forever be seared in his memory.
“Good morning, Kaachan.” He squeezed their hold, his beautiful smile enduring as the many physical sensations struck him.
“Morning, sleeping beauty,” they huffed, a blush of their own emerging. “Thought I told you to stop calling me that.”
“Oh! Sorry!” He looked away, embarrassment burning alongside intimacy. “Sorry. I know I said it last night too.”
“Nah, fuck it, I’ll let it slide.” Pulling their arms away from his back, his palms gripped his cheeks, turning his head to face them again. “Can’t blame this pretty little face for going nuts during a damn good dicking.”
“My god, Katsuki!” He wormed playfully, smacking their back until he froze. “Wait, you think I’m pretty?”
“Jesus Christ, don’t you start now.” They brought their foreheads together again, his teeth showing. “Of course, you’re pretty, numbnut. Do you think I fuck ugly people?”
“Well, I never thought I was. Ugly, I mean.” His smile broadened, joy brimming within.
“If you did, I would be kicking your ass right out that window.” The usual scowl returned, far more potent than before. “Fucking pretty broccoli haired nerd, just hotter and ripped than before.”
Their guttural compliments were rewarded with a kiss, sudden & fierce. They met it with an impassioned snarl, their strong & fit bodies intertwining further. The smacking of lips and primal grunts ceased only due to the damning need for oxygen.
“Shit… That’s my little spider. Full of fire and our cum!” A bark followed right after thanks to Izuku’s teeth on their neck.
“That’s for you calling me that again!”
“Alright, that’s it, you little shit, you’re gonna-” The unwelcome ringtone blaring about froze the trio, terror etched on Izuku’s features.
“Oh no, I forgot to text her your address!”
“Ah, shit…” Before they could even pull out, he was already scrambling off their 19 inches, a choke fleeing them as he hit the floor.
“Hi, mo-”
“IZUKU MIDORIYA!” His brows could’ve launched off his face, the symbiote squealing right behind him. “YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD TEXT ME!”
“Mom, I’m sorry, I-”
“YOU WILL GET RIGHT BACK HERE THIS INSTANT AND HAVE BREAKFAST WITH ME!”
“Mom, I was going to-”
“I WON’T HEAR ANY EXCUSES! I MADE YOUR FAVORITE, I HAVE BANDAGES READY, I-”
“MOM!” The cringe from them was a necessary sacrifice. “I am going home now. I like the sound of that very much.”
“Good! And…” Her hesitation mirrored the rubbing of the phone cord, her taking a much needed breath. “Katsuki, is he- they…”
“Yes, they’re-” he turned to face them momentarily, simmering from the pain as they sat upon the bed, gazes meeting, “We made up. It was almost like… like the real old days, before it all went…”
Their eyes widened, uncertain to act, as they took in his words. Those emerald eyes, glowing from morning rays, joined by those unbelievable claims, left their heart clenching unlike the night before. A trembling breath was all they could muster, stopping themselves from uttering a word.
“They made me feel safe, mom.”
“Sweetheart, that… that’s wonderful news.” Her tears began to be shed for a different reason, the gentle happiness of his tone casting her fear off. “As long as you’re safe and happy, that’s all that matters to me. Now, please, come home. You can tell me more once you’re here.”
“I will, mom. I love you.”
“I love you too.” A heavy huff expelled the air in his tightened chest, the tension easing away after hanging up. Yet the shuffling of covers drew his attention back to the bed.
“Did you mean that?” Katsuki’s somber visage met him, them now perched on the bed’s edge, still nude.
“I did, and I do now.” Izuku turned to face him, now sitting on the floor, their connection as bared as their marked bodies. “After all these years, even with It now, it feels like… what we used to have.”
“What we used to have wasn’t what it should’ve been, not with how I, we acted towards you then.” They turned away, eyes furrowed for a moment, as they took a breath of their own, memories flooding back.
“Yet, even with all that transpired… I still value you, for how much you’ve changed, how much better you’ve become. You always had that potential, I always saw it.” Rising to his feet, he approached, resting a palm upon their sculpted shoulder, warm to the touch. “And I cherished every moment we shared last night.”
“Shit…” They turned to face him, scarred baby cheeks, the ones he kissed & smacked so many times before. “Whatever happens from here on, we never deserved you. Not one goddamn bit.”
“No, you never did. Everything we’ve done, everything I’ve said, was because I chose it.” His other hand cupped their chiseled cheek, so seemingly perfect yet all too fragile. “And don’t you forget it.”
“Jesus…” They never shivered like that before. “You sure you’re the Deku we know?”
“I still have the most amount of Captain Might merch than you.”
“Alright, you pathetic-”
“And I can burrow through every floor of this building using you as the drill.”
“You’re as hot as you are a dork.” Their arms enveloped his waist, hands snaking down to his ass. “I love a Deku who can keep up with me, punch for punch.”
“Easy, Katsuki,” he cooed, licking his lips. “Or else I might have to kick your ass, or worse…”
“In your dreams, nerd.”
“Don’t need ‘em when I got reality right in front of me, and many good memories.” His lips pressed forth, humming softly as he felt their hands squeeze his ass. They all remained intertwined, bathed in the sun’s warmth, as they kept this moment alive for as long as they could.
*
“It’s a perfect fit!”
“Of course it is. We don’t half-ass, we perfect, even something as awful on the eyes as this crap.”
“You take that back!” Izuku shook his head with a smile, rotating & flexing his repaired red and blues in Katsuki’s mirror. “You fixed it perfectly! When did you learn to sew?”
“We didn’t.” Arms folded, their symbiotic suit momentarily appeared before seeping back just as quickly, them back in their t-shirt & trousers. “We remember donning you for the first time, every last scrap copied, studied, improved upon.”
“Well, I still cherish this classic. Red and blue helps put people at ease.”
“Black is best.” Smirking, their sight never left his ass. “We could always make it so. You’d look even sexier in that getup.”
“You’re hopeless!” he huffed, still smiling as he turned away from the mirror, walking alongside them into the corridor towards the kitchen. As Izuku grasped his webshooters from the counter, inspecting them with focus, he failed to notice the web cartridge tossed at his emerald strands.
“Hey, no fair!”
“Not our fault your little spider sense can’t work on those so close to you.”
“Don’t think I didn’t see what you just did!”
“You can’t see words, Deku.” Their sneer was met by a shot of web, one they easily sidestepped. “Sorry, my little spider’s sense not up for a simple throw?”
His battle cry filled the kitchen as he pounced towards them, both wrestling & barking in juvenile delight. Bulbs shook while plates rattled, cupboards flying open from the impacts. As quickly as it began, the mini-earthquake of mutate mayhem ended with a familiar posture of Spider-Man beneath Venom, their symbiotic suit donned.
“If you keep this up, I’ll have to websling you back to Queens due to your sore asshole!”
“I’ll defend my honor, no matter the cost!” His laugh was the sweetest thing in that kitchen, the symbiote whirring happily for the first time in months. An extended, girthy tongue gave a swift lick to his face, Katsuki grinning gleefully.
“God, you’re insufferable, but I like my nerds insufferable.” They gave him one final squeeze, their breaths steadying. “Don’t be an actual deku out there.”
“Whatever it takes to do what’s right.” As Venom rose to their feet, he accepted the offered hand, rising together. “But thank you for your help yesterday.”
“Don’t mention it.” They all met at the balcony, door sliding past to be met by the morning cacophony of the city far below. The cool air spiked Spider-Man’s skin with rows of goosebumps, his further scarred body shivering a touch. In an instant, with a shot of web, he was hanging from the roof of the balcony, upside down with a cheeky smile.
“You fucking dork.” They reached forth, familiar mask in hand. “Don’t websling with those baby cheeks out.”
“You oaf!” Happily accepting it, he lingered, placing it on his belt, still face to face with them. “Thank you, for everything. I… had a genuinely good time.”
“Of course you did. We didn’t want it any other way.”
“I mean it. You, It, were wonderful.” He reached out, one gloved hand caressing their cheek. “You were My Hero this time.”
“Alright, alright, we get it.” A blush flared on their face, leaning further in. “Whatever this ends up meaning between us, we’ll be there for ya. Lucky little bastard.”
“In that case,” he pulled them in, their lips pressing a final time in an upside down farewell, “for luck.”
“Get the fuck out of here!” They broke from their parting stupor, smiling unlike they ever had before. That shining grin of his, brighter than the dawn, was his departing gift to them as he gave a playful salute before casting himself off the building. Katsuki leaned against the railing as they watched him swing off towards the Queensboro, a joyful ‘Woohoo!’ carried on the wind.
“Thanks… Izuku.”
