~November 27th 1984~
Jonathan and Nancy still haven't announced their relationship. But some people know, secretly. It's pretty obvious.
Nancy is home alone today, and just as her parents were about to leave Jonathan climbs into her room from the window.
"Hey" Nancy says. "Hey" Jonathan replies. They both smile at each other a fire of desire in their eyes. They look and look and just... look.
He approaches her and pulls Nancy in for a kiss. It's deep, passionate, they almost forget to breathe.
He pulls away, only to dive in again more aggressive as they both fall onto one another on the bed, "I love you." He whispers. "I love you too" Nancy shares breathlessly.
Hearing and watching this all unfold has Mrs.Wheeler, peeking trough the keyhole. A smile stretches across her face. I knew it, finally! She says in her head, happy for her daughter.
Karen knocks, "Nancy?" She yells out. Nancy gets surprised "O-one second mom!" She replies. "Shit!" Jonathan mutters his shirt already off. Nancy gives him a "look" as he hides under the bed. He groans not wanting to leave her.
Nancy unlocks the door
"Hey, im about to leave. Ok?" Karen says
"Alright" Nancy replies.
*she closes the door listens to footsteps recede*
"I was thinking we could maybe watch a movie."
"Yeah, sure" Jonathan states with a strained voice coming out from under Nancy's bed.
"Also, I made you a mixtape." Jonathan blurts out as he hands it to her.
She holds it, "for my love" scribbled on the tape with marker.
"I love it." She kisses his cheek.
Tonight would be an amazing night, romantic, heartfelt, fun.
Just the two of them.
