Chapter Text
“You know, you could lose a couple pounds. You’re actually quite heavy to pull.” Himiko giggled as she pulled a person into her abandoned apartment, by the legs no less. As for the person she was pulling along, they were stuck in a full body straitjacket with belts forcing their legs together, and a bag tied over their head. “And can you stop struggling so much? You wouldn’t want me to drop you, would you?”
“Mmmmphh! Mmphhu!” The restrained person screamed and sobbed, right as Himiko placed them on a desk chair, undid the rope around their neck that kept the bag on, and then finally pulled that bag off their head.
Revealing Ochako Uraraka, aka Himiko’s new best friend.
“I’m so excited to do stuff together! What do you want to start with? Watching a movie, or doing each other’s hair?” The blonde asked, only for Ochako to immediately hop towards the door. “…So you want to do it this way?” Himiko asked coldly, jumping onto the restrained girl. After pushing her down, Himiko pulled Ochako back onto the chair, before pulling out a roll of duct tape to make sure her new friend would stay in her seat. Even if she had to be extra tied up.
“You can’t do this, you sicko-Hey!-MMPH!” Right as Ochako wanted to yell at her captor, said captor placed a strip of tape over Ochako’s mouth, before drawing a crude smiley on it.
“Good, you already look more happy. Maybe a good night's sleep will cheer you up.” Himiko said with a passive aggressive smile, before leaving the room with a scowl.
The next morning, Himiko was in a better mood, even ripping the tape of Ochako’s mouth to ask how she liked her eggs.
“You never had eggs with cheese in it?” The blonde asked once Ochako revealed she didn’t know cheese could go into eggs. “It makes it so creamy.”
“I usually just eat rice crackers for breakfast.”
“Woah, then I apologize to your tastebuds. Think you can handle cheese eggs without dying of shock?”
“I dunno, can you cook?”
“I’ll have you know that I’m an egg-cellent chef…my parents forced me to take cooking lessons. Singing and tennis too, just so I could be their perfect little doll.”
“…listen..”-“Himiko.”-“Himiko, you kidnapped me from the streets, tied me up and gagged me. If you are trying to gain sympathy, you better start looking somewhere else.”
“You know I can gag you again, right?”
“Then how will I eat your egg-cellent eggs?…I'm serious. As you can see, I can’t grab onto utensils.”
As soon as Ochako pointed this out, Himiko grabbed a spoon and scoped up some eggs. “Look Ochako! There is a plane coming your way, waiting for a place to land.”
“…..”
“Vvvrrrrrrr, ready for landing, air traffic control?”
“…..”
“Guess the eggy plane isn’t allowed to land. So it better returns to my mouth.” With Ochako not playing along, Himiko made more plane sounds before ‘flying’ the spoon into her own mouth. “Mmmm, so good.”
“…*sigh* the airport is open.” Ochako sighed before widening her mouth, allowing the ‘second plane’ to enter. Turns out, it was a delicious plane.
About a week later, Himiko decided to watch a movie with her best friend. So after asking for blood, even explaining why she needed it (she didn’t get more than a couple drops, but still), Himiko laid out two movies she found in this abandoned house.
Se7en and Dumbo.
“…I mean, Dumbo is a really cute movie, but I love Se7en.” Himiko stated, hoping it would convince Ochako to pick her movie.
“I don’t like Se7en.”
“…Don’t worry. I’ll just put the bag over your head at the scary parts.” Himiko said with a happy tone, already looking for the bag.
But when she saw Ochako’s face, it suddenly didn’t seem like a good idea. Because while Ochako hadn’t looked very happy most of the time, she had smiled more over the past couple weeks. But now, she looked just as uncomfortable as when she just came here.
Ochako being unhappy made her unhappy.
So Himiko put on Dumbo. She didn’t pout, or whine, or anything. But she also didn’t laugh.
“Himiko, are you feeling alright? Is it because we watched my movie?” Ochako asked, ready to tease Himiko for her being childish. But instead of pouting, Himiko shook her head before turning to Ochako.
“You have been my best friend…so I’m letting you go.” The blonde said softly, using her knife to cut Ochako loose from the chair. “This past week, I have seen you smile so bright. But you were also sad and angry because of me…I don’t want you to be upset because of me. So go! Shoo! You’re free now!”
“G-Great!..can you get me out of this straitjacket?” Ochako asked, but Himiko was too busy crying.
“Shoo! *sniff* Don't make this harder on either of us.” She sobbed, gently pushing Ochako outside before closing the door.
After hopping around a little, Ochako finally found someone who didn’t immediately run away at the sight of her. A very nice boy named Izuku Midoriya.
“You’re not a crazy person, right?” He asked awkwardly, all the while undoing the straps around her legs.
“Don’t worry. I just got kidnapped and put in this thing.” Ochako assured him. “I don’t need psychological help..well maybe a little after this whole thing.”
“I’m sorry, someone put you in this thing?” Very slowly, Izuku looked at her with widened eyes, stopping with untying her, much to Ochako’s dismay.
“Um, yeah. She leaves in the moldy green building three streets that way-And he’s gone.”
And so, as Izuku went to stop the villain, Ochako was still in that tight straitjacket.
Izuku did not want to use his quirk. Like REALLY did not want to use it. But since there was a kidnapper here, he had to step in. Especially since by the time an actual hero arrived, the kidnapper could already be gone.
“S-Stand still, villain! Or I’ll take actio-Are you alright, Miss?” Instead of seeing a creepy villain, Izuku saw a crying girl sitting in the middle of the room. Instantly, he ran towards her. “Don’t worry, you’ll be safe. Just come with me.”
“*sniff* I’m the villain..” Himiko sobbed, right as Ochako returned so Izuku could untie her. But when Himiko saw her, she started pointing. “Leave! I told you to be free!”
“I can’t be free if neither of you untie me!” The brunette yelled back. “Now be a good friend, and get me out of this thing!”
“…I’m confused.” As Izuku officially had no idea what was going on, Himiko explained everything. How she kidnapped Ochako to make friends, before letting her go once she learned it wasn’t right.
But while Himiko expected him to attack or insult her, Izuku instead picked her up bridal style. “Well get you the help you need, Toga. I promise everything will be alright.” He then carried the blushing girl outside…once again leaving Ochako in the straitjacket.
“Look how the turns have tabled.”
“I think it’s the other way around, Ochako.” Himiko sighed, currently in a straitjacket while Ochako was free as a bird. And to say Himiko wasn’t pleased would be an understatement
“Oh come on, Himiko. You kept me like this and worse for a week. You have been here for a day.” Ochako said dryly. “Also please don’t hold this against Midoriya. He already feels bad enough for getting you arrested.”
“I know that absolute sweetheart meant well, and I appreciate you visiting me…even if it’s probably to gloat.”
“A little, but..well we’re kind of friends I guess. Though I’m going to be honest, you could have just asked.”
“Kidnapping a friend seemed easier.”
“Trust me, kidnapping me made it extremely hard to be your friend.”
Before the two girls could continue, a guard came to collect Ochako, since visiting hours were over. So after saying goodbye, Himiko decided to sit against the wall of her cell to take a calming breath.
Only to hear grumbling and swears. “How dare that bitch. I’ll swear, I’m going to mount her head on my wall.” An older woman, probably in her thirties, growled from the other side of the wall.
“…Are you alright, lady?” Since she had nothing better to do, Himiko decided to talk with the angry woman next door.
“Of course I’m not alright! I need to get out of this shit hole and rescue my daughter!” The neighbor roared as she was heard kicking against the door. But as the banging got softer, they suddenly stopped before she sat down against the wall. And as she started sobbing, Himiko decided to sit near that wall.
“What happened to your daughter, Miss…?”
“*sigh* Tsutsumi. Kaina Tsutsumi. And what is your name?”
“Himiko.”
“Cute name.” Kaina laughed softly before she got quiet for a while longer, thinking off what happened ten minutes ago.
“Momma!” As soon as she saw her mommy, Eri ran to the glass window where Kaina sat behind. Kaina meanwhile hated that Eri was here. She loathed the pain in her baby’s eyes as she looked at Kaina’s pitiful state right now. Tied up in a straitjacket, head just shaven, a black eye from a guard who thought they could use the fact Kaina couldn’t fight back.
“Hey Appleseed, where’s auntie Esumi?” The mother asked with a forced smile, which quickly fell once she saw a familiar woman walking towards the glass too, followed by five others in the shadows. It was madam President. “Where’s my sister?”
“On a mission. One she couldn’t refuse, so we decided to take over babysitting duty.” The older woman explained calmly, putting a hand on Eri’s head as the girl shuttered.
“Get your paws off my daughter!” Clearly, Kaina wasn’t thankful. Not that Madam seemed to care.
“Careful now, Nagant. Do you really want us to gag like a crazy animal, in front of your daughter no less?” She asked calmly, causing Kaina to growl at her. But again, the president didn’t care. She came to tell her former colleague she was taking Eri, and that was it. So she left again, minutes after arriving, all the while pulling a Eri with her.
The last thing Kaina saw before a bag was pulled over her head, followed by her being pulled back to her cell, was Eri’s crying face.
“So you used to be a pro hero.” Himiko concluded after a short silence.
“Yep…All I wanted was to make the world a better place.”
“But?”
“But the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and the opposite is true too. Then when I wanted to quit, things escalated and I ended up here. My sister is supposed to look after my daughter, but then the commission sent her away so they can have Eri.”
“…Well I'm certain you can get her back once you’re let out.” Himiko said awkwardly, having not expected a government conspiracy. But before Kaina could bitterly point out they would never be let out, the cell doors opened up. Apparently, it was time for the prisoners to spread their legs beyond their cells. This allowed Himiko and Kaina to see each other. But while Himiko took in her shaven head, as well as the identical straitjacket, Kaina was focused on one thing.
“You’re a child…you don’t belong here.” She muttered in disbelief as they both were led to the courtyard. “I’m getting you out of here.”
