COMMUNE Salon – Everyone’s prepping for their solo schedules. MN arrived first, so she’s already getting styled. Once YQ and MY show up, the vibe gets loud and chaotic.
MY: Whoaaa~~ iPhone 17 comes in grass green!!!
YQ (from the next room): CHO MIYEON! Keep it down!!
MY: Ugh, what’s it to you?!
MN (in the same room): Miyeon, didn’t you just get a new phone recently?
MY: That one was just for filming Miyeon.zip! This green one is sooo pretty
MN: What about the green phone we gave you for your birthday two years ago?
MY: Still have it~ but the battery’s dead... I can’t bring myself to throw it away, you guys gave me
MN’s heart melts a little. Just then, the stylist calls MY to go wash her hair. MN opens the Apple Store app and quickly adds the grass green iPhone 17 to her cart.
MN (thinking): Hmm… is 512GB enough for her? She’s a YouTuber now, taking pics every day… Oh wait, there’s a green case too? Should I get her a My Melody one instead? But that ruins the whole green phone vibe… Is there a green My Melody case? Or just go with clear? Would she think clear is ugly? [facepalm] Ughhh!
MY comes back from shampooing and sees MN looking super conflicted.
MY: What are you looking at?
MN (panicking, switches to food delivery app): N-nothing! Just… figuring out lunch.
Everyone goes back to doing their own thing, but MN is still deep in her phone-case dilemma.
YQ sneaks a peek from behind MN and spots the green iPhone on her screen. She instantly knows this tsundere unnie is about to spoil her wife again.
YQ: Weren’t you switching to OPPO like me? Buying an iPhone now?
MN: Just browsing... I’ve got an iPhone and an OPPO, okay?
MN finishes up and heads out for her next schedule. Then comes the MiYu sibling banter segment—aka mutual teasing.
MY complains that YQ didn’t stop her from overeating in Singapore. YQ fires back, asking why MY bought a bunch of blind boxes in Macau and didn’t give her any. Their back-and-forth is sharp, like a rap battle.
YQ gets ready to leave too.
YQ: Unnie~ when are you visiting me during my solo shoot?
MY reaches for her phone to check her schedule—
YQ: Newsen already got pics of me. You can’t escape now.
MY fumbles and drops her phone
YQ: Oops, looks like you need a new phone. No worries—someone’s gonna gift you one.
The air goes still.
MY (thinking): …Who?
YQ realizes she slipped up and bolts out of there.
YQ: I gonna go, unnie, byeeeeee～～～～～
Leaving MY behind, totally confused.
After leaving the salon, MN felt like she’d escaped a whirlpool of indecision. In the car, she completed the payment for the green iPhone and matching case. The delivery date is timed with their Tokyo tour. She filled in CUBE’s address and asked their manager oppa to arrange someone to receive it.
As she imagined MY’s reaction, that signature smile with those crescent moon eyes popped into her mind—so cute it should be illegal. Her heart warmed.
Fast forward to post-Tokyo tour. MY has been preparing for her solo, so the day after returning to Korea, she was already back at CUBE working on post-production in the studio. MN had already gotten the delivery notification back in Tokyo. Today, MN has no schedule, MY was back at CUBE, so MN decided to swing by.
She picked up the phone and case, then headed to the studio to find MY. But the staff said MY wasn’t there. Confused, MN went to her own studio… only to find someone already inside.
MN: Weren’t you supposed to be doing post-production?
MY: Why are you back?
Neither answered right away. MN walked in, dropped her bag, and flopped onto the couch with her eyes closed.
MN: Ugh, I’m exhausted.
MY quietly watched her from the sofa.
MY: I saw you had no schedule today. Why’d you come back?
MN opened one eye, glanced at MY, then sat up and pulled the phone and case from her bag.
MN: Came back to give you these～
MY stared at her, surprised, and slowly took the gift from MN’s hands.
MY: For me? A green iPhone? So when YUQI said someone was gonna gift me a phone… it was you?
MN (muttering): SONG YUQI really out here dropping spoilers…
MY: Aww… thank you 🥹 Is it just for me?
MN: Yup
MY: Ahh… I’m touched
MN’s anticipated smile and those adorable eyes appeared
MY: But why? It’s not my birthday. Yours is coming up though.
MN: Just tossing out a brick to get a jade in return. What are you gonna give me?
MY: Hmm… I actually already picked something… but it’s nowhere near as nice as your “brick”…
MN (softly): It’s not like that… I mean… it’s Mid-Autumn Festival.
MY: Mid-Autumn Festival?
MN (brain racing): And you hit 350K subs on Miyeon.zip! Plus… it’s your solo gift! I will be filming in Thailand during your solo, so I’m giving it now…
Before she could finish, MY pulled her into a tight hug
MY: You’re heading back to Thailand soon for filming… I’m gonna miss you
MN: I… I’ll miss you too
MY: We have to message every day, okay? Even if you’re busy, send me pics—of meals, anything—just so I know you’re doing well.
MN: We can video call too～ Even just a few minutes! Don’t worry about meals, the catering in Thailand is pretty good. I won’t starve… But you, stop eating so many spicy snacks and instant noodles, they’re bad for you… Try to exercise more… And if you wear shorts or skirts, bring a blanket when you sit down, and don’t—
MY: I got it, I got it… You’re always worrying. But you’ll have your parents in Thailand, so I won’t need to worry.
MN (pauses): Actually… it’s my first movie. I’m really scared I won’t do well. I don’t want to disappoint anyone Especially my parents—they were so happy when they found out… I—
MY: It’s okay! You’ve acted in dramas before, and you’ve worked hard on your acting. You can do this!
MN: But dramas are different from movies… Sigh… Filming alone feels so unfamiliar. No one from our group… no you to calm me down…
MY: I did a cameo in Hyeri unnie’s movie last time—it’s definitely different. But don’t worry. Trust yourself. Your co-stars and director will help you. And if you ever feel anxious, just call me!
MN: You’ll be working too… And honestly, when I did my solo, you were there for me. Now it’s your solo and I can’t be there… I’m sorry

Just as they were soaking in the warmth of the moment, MY’s phone rang.
MY: Ugh, I gotta head back to the studio 😩
MN (loosening the hug, looking at MY): Wait, why were you here anyway?
MY: I wasn’t happy with the post-production version I heard earlier, but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Told them I need some air, so I came here. This is my safe place. Didn’t expect the owner of my safe place to be here too 🤗
MN: My pleasure~ Go on then, I’ll head out.
MY: Don’t go～～ Come with me～～ I need the famous producer Kim Minnie-nim’s opinion! 🤩
MN: Miyeon-xi~ I’m off today
MY: Minnie-xi~ After post-production, let’s go eat hotpot, yeah?
