Quirk: Adventure Digimon
One Shot Version
Izuku Midoriya, Elementary School 5th grader, Green haired Mumble-Maniac, and friend to the Uraraka sisters, was contemplating his quirk.
Coming in naturally at the age of four, he’d woke up the morning of his mum’s birthday looking like he’d doodled on himself in the night.
Eight Tattoos dotted his body, each a different colour, each capable of glowing, each generally giving him a pleasant hum beneath his skin.
Each holding a quirk summon, one that resembled Pokémon, but Not.
Each of the eight creatures could reside inside their respective tattoo or walk/fly/slide around being fully sentient and capable of speaking any language Izuku learnt.
As such, they were allowed outside his quirk, especially as otherwise, Izuku had to eat for them.
Some of them, naming no one in particular, could eat their own bodyweight in one sitting, hence for the sake of his mum’s purse (and his future wallet), he was allowed to let them out so long as he was as responsible for them as he would if they were a Dog.
He smiled at the memory of the time he’d wrangled ‘Mr Curious’ into a Dog harness, Mum still has the video somewhere.
He caught an orange glow through the bubbles and glanced at his left shoulder, towards the symbol of the one in question.
Augumon’s sun-like glyph glowed gently, no sign he’d stirred by Izuku’s thoughts on him. Being on Izuku’s left shoulder, the crest was visible to him out the corner of his eye whether he’s in a vest or shirtless.
Matching the Orange Sun, is of course, the Blue Crescent Moon on Izuku’s right shoulder. The mirror imaging is deliberate somehow Izuku supposes, none of the other crests mirror each other so, nor do the duo they connect to have a problem working with each other as long as they’re allowed to compete with their rival. His thoughts on his companions cause the red on his heart to pulse brighter.
Sitting above his heart is the steadily glowing, red heart shaped mark belonging to Biyomon. Although her mark’s glow has increased, it remains steadily peaceful, it’s inhabitant slumbering within his quirk for now.
Continuing his train of thought, he thought of one of the marks he couldn’t see, his usual summon owned the twined circles of ‘greater’ and ‘lesser’ mark his brow as a third ? Eye chakra.
At least it didn’t form ‘inked on’ glasses. He almost shuddered in his warm bubble bath.
Adding to his unusual appearance, the glowing green teardrop on his throat. Palmon’s residence tended to glow when he was honest, not just in words, but to himself and others, something most don’t have the benefit of realising until their late teens, when they stop trying to please everyone and please their-Self.
The remaining tattoo he knew the inhabitant of, right from his quirk coming in, of the active markings, this one was the least visible to him, being on the back of his right shin, owned by his aquatic friend, who is currently playing with the rubber ducky they’d bought him; Gomamon.
The cross and Triangles design remined him of steel bars upholding some structure when all else failed.
He had no idea why this was the case, but given he got the feeling of fire’s warmth from Agumon’s home and the feeling of a cool, but pleasant, hand on his shoulder from Gabumon’s crest, perhaps it was quirk instincts at work.
Seeing the glow made it easy to know when his quirk benefited from his mental state or actions. It was unusual among quirks, despite quirks being a muscle that could be ‘worked out’ to get them stronger, his quirk was a more spiritual in nature, although it helped to ‘work it out’ too.
He’d tried training his companions and himself, neither had really worked in his favour with strengthening his quirk. Sometimes he wished he had a manual for the thing but say la vie.
“You’re feelin’ upset.”
He nodded, with his eyes closing, but tilted his head in a ‘questioning’ gesture, sinking further into the depths of his bath.
The greatest thing about his quirk; his companions were all intelligent and seemed to understand him better than himself sometimes.
Now if only he could work out how to summon the final two out of himself:
A shining yellow sun atop a temple/sunbeam.
And a Flower/Star/Crystal in brightest, hottest, (someday) glowy-est, Pink.
They were atop his head, under his hair, and on the base of his right foot respectively.
He’d looked into many concepts of emotion and The Self, given how closely tied it was to his quirk.
The Third Eye of Knowledge and not deceiving oneself, as well as the Throat Chakra of being truthful and telling no lies. Both seemed to relate to his Purple and Green Crests, respectively.
A sun atop a temple, Religion? Worship? Creation?
He put this cyclic thought out of his brain and began to wash, a heavy head wouldn’t let him sleep for tomorrow’s day out.

-Some time around Age 11 -
It was on the News.
His Quirk was ON THE NEWS!
He rewound and played the clip again.

Hero News switched feeds to show the stomping arrival of the Number One Hero at the site of an armed and trigger-assisted robbery;
“I AM HERE UPON THIS MIGHTY STEED.”
Said ‘steed’ being a 24-foot-tall orange Trex-looking dinosaur with orange body and horned brown helmet.
All-Might, even knowing he’d nearly lost his leg saving them from that villain last week, still looked as confident as ever.

The Thugs thoughts were practically visible on their faces;
“Villains. I know my mount may confuse you,-”
‘No really? Hero…’
“But this is not a Hero with a quirk that turns him into a muscular Dinosaur.”
TEETH! TEETH! TEETH! FIRE!!!!
“but rather, he is a sentient quirk, which can breathe fire, now; If I may ask-”
“WE SURRENDER!!!!!!!” He yelled alongside at least 2 of his 7 comrades. Reverting his quirk and holding his arms in the air, as the scent of urinal filled the air next to him.

Endeavour had seen the News clip when his seventh sidekick brought him the phone it was broadcast to.
Contrary to popular belief, he neither raged, nor felt envy, nor sought out a stead of his own.
Rather he blinked once, his expression as unreadable as it was unmoving, he dismissed the sidekick politely, before he went to bed in his office. For nightly patrols of course.

At U.A. a certain Mouse-Bear-Dog couldn’t help the grin as he watched his former pupil team up with the quirk of his future pupil to strike fearful awe into the entire populous of Japan and beyond it at once.
…Screw It.
“MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAHAHAAAA”
U.A.’s sound system broadcast the Principle’s Laughter in spite of the school being mostly empty for the evening.

Inko still boggled, she was there when her son lent All-Might his Digimon to assist him in getting from place to place.
But watching ALL-MIGHT intimidating villains using her son’s quirk as a mount was not something she’d expected to see for another decade or so.
