Inui Ryo woke up with a groan, turning over in their spot on the bed to get more comfortable. He hated waking up like this, but waking up like this is made so much better when he turns over and comes face-to-face with his lover, Sekijiro Kan. A soft smile crawls onto Ryo's face, who starts adjusting their position a little bit so that he's cuddling with Sekijiro. He doesn't exactly want to wake Sekijiro up yet, and he likes his lover's cuddles, so why not wait a few more minutes?
Sekijiro Kan woke up a few minutes later with his arms wrapped around his boyfriend, Inui Ryo. He chuckles softly at the view, smiling softly and stopping the chuckles so he doesn't wake up Ryo. Speaking of that, what time is it? Sekijiro looks over at the clock, finding that it's late into the morning. Yes, they have off today, and also have a date later today. Ryo didn't know this, but was also planning on proposing during the date... They've been together for a while and he feels like he would never find anyone else he'd love as much as he loves Ryo, so he wants to get engaged.
Anyway, even though he doesn't want to, he starts softly shaking Ryo so that he can wake up. Ryo starts to wake up again, while also cuddling up to Sekijiro again with a groan, clearly not wanting to wake up. Sekijiro chuckles at that, before plastering Ryo's face with kisses. After he's done with the barrage of kisses, Sekijiro whispers "We need to get up, darling..." to his lover. Ryo couldn't help but smile at the kisses, his tail wagging behind him. He's still not happy with having to wake up this early, but if Sekijiro wanted to get up, they should get up.
Ryo climbs out of their bed first, stretching a little while letting his tail sway a little behind him. He digs through his part of their dresser, picking out some clothes. Once his clothes are picked out, he leans over and gives a kiss to Sekijiro, before rushing off towards the shower. Sekijiro grinned once the kiss was given to him, before he gets off the bed as well. Sekijiro'll take a shower after Ryo, so he starts to pick out his own clothes as well, setting them on the bed before he walks out of their room.
Once downstairs, he starts the oven up while grabbing the ingredients for Pancakes & Sunny-Side-Up Eggs, just like how Ryo likes his breakfast. Before he starts to cook, though, he needs to feed Tepes, his pet bull-dog. After he fills his bowl, Sekijiro moves back to the kitchen and starts to move around it with a hum. Because I'm not that awake at the moment, I'm not describing how he makes the breakfast. A few minutes into cooking, Sekijiro feels his lovers arms wrap around him from behind, Ryo's head resting on his head. With a chuckle, he nudges the other towards the table.
Once breakfast is finished, he sets down a plate for Ryo and gives another kiss to the man, before he yawns. "I'm goin' to take mine now, make sure to save some for me, love." He says with a smile, heading towards his bedroom for their clothes as he hears Ryo call out with "I will, don't ya worry." After his shower, he grabs a plate of his own and fills it with some pancakes, sitting down across from Ryo with a chuckle.
They enjoy their breakfast for a little longer before Sekijiro gets up and sets his plate into the sink, with his lover following soon after. Placing a kiss on Sekijiro's cheek, Ryo whispers softly with "What do we have today?" Sekijiro smiles at the kiss, giving back one of his own before responding with "Not much, just a date later today, if that's alright with you?" Sekijiro asks with a soft kiss to the other' snout, which gets a grin out of Ryo along with a nod.
