Chapter Text
The last thing Midoriya remembered, it was a normal day at their training camp; it was July 25th, their third day of the lodge trip. They were doing quirk strengthening training. He remembers briefly that he asked his sensei if any other teachers were coming, wanting to get a chance to talk to All Might about how to go about talking to Kota. But apparently, no other teachers would be coming. He remembers getting advice from Todoroki about trying to explain why heroes did what they did, to help Kota understand why heroes sacrificed themselves. He remembers Todoroki telling him that actions speak louder than words. After dinner that night, they were playing a test of courage. Suddenly, all of them were contacted by Mandalay, informing them that villains were attacking the camp. He and his classmates, along with the Pussycats were prepared to fight. Until Midoriya remembered that Kota was alone.
He was far away from getting to anyone for help, and probably out of Mandalay's range to hear her warning about villains. He ran as fast as he could, not bothering to tell anyone where he was going; he had no time.
When he saw Muscular coming towards Kota, his first reaction was to launch himself towards the boy, pushing him out of the way. He doesn't remember much after that. He knew that he fought against Muscular. He remembered Kota throwing a rock at the villain to try to save him, but it failed, and he was overpowered and driven into the ground. His body burned and he whined pitifully against the unbearable pressure on his whole body. Finally, something in his body cracked, and he felt intense pain for only a minute before everything went numb. All of the colors became brighter, and he remembered being in awe, before everything was overcome with an inky black and an uncomfortable buzzing throughout his body.

And then he woke up with a scream and looked down, checking over his ribs and his chest with panicked breaths.
He remembered the pain he felt everywhere before the snap, that was both the most and least amount of pain...
"Midoriya?"
"Midoriya, are you okay?"
"Deku, what-?"
Suddenly, the door slammed open, finally snapping Midoriya out of his panic. His sensei stepped into the doorway.
"Is everyone okay?"
He nodded, small and shaky. "Y-Yeah, sorry sensei. Just a dream."
He couldn't ignore the way his voice cracked, but thankfully his teacher didn't pry. With one last look over all of them, he let out a breath.
"Okay, then. Come talk to me if you need anything. Time to eat, boys."
And he left the room.
They got up to get breakfast, and Midoriya frowned, feeling his stomach churn. He wasn't looking forward to eating after that dream. And as he walked in the room, he slowed to a stop and looked around with fear.
It was the same as yesterday.
They were having rice and tamagoyaki for breakfast, same as yesterday. He could hear Uraraka starting the conversation about how she ate miso soup and natto everyday for breakfast as a child and everyone was sat in the same spots.
Okay, maybe they just wanted some organization. Maybe Iida assigned them seats? Highly possible. And maybe they forgot about having this conversation yesterday. Less possible. Maybe since they were training, they were going to eat the same meals until they left. Maybe they were purposefully planned out for utmost nutrition? He shook it off, trying to act normal and have normal conversation. He felt weird having to say the same things he remembers already saying, but he ignored it.
Then after breakfast, his sensei announced quirk-strengthening training... The same training they'd done in his dream.
Maybe he actually had a quirk before One For All. Or maybe he was clairvoyant. He's had deja vu, but this was completely different from that.
But once it came time for the test of courage, he snuck away and ran towards Kota's hideout. He was there before any villains and picked Kota up and started running, ignoring the boy's protests.
"Why are you taking me?! Where are we going?!"
"Something bad is going to happen! I'm sorry, but I can't let you get hurt! We're going to the facility with your aunt and the teachers." He whispered as they ran. His answer must have confused or scared the kid, but he stayed quiet.
Before he could reach the facility, his teacher stepped out of the building and they were both bathed in fire, feeling their clothes singe and their skin melt. Midoriya turned to protect Kota, letting tears fall as he felt himself burn alive. Thankfully, it didn't last long before-
He woke up again.
*-*-*
Aizawa woke up, remembering Midoriya burning along with him; both of them had died this time. He allowed himself a minute to clear his head before he left his room. As he walked out towards the dining area, he was run into by none other than Midoriya himself.
"Careful kid. You okay?"
He looked up at him with teary eyes and clear distress on his face. The man frowned and lightly wrapped an arm around his shoulders, leading him silently to the front of the building.
"Is something wrong, kid?"
Midoriya sighed and sat on the side of the porch. "Are we doing quirk-strengthening training today?" He asked suddenly. Aizawa was taken aback. He hadn't told any of the students the training plan.
"We are. How do you know that?"
Then the kid broke down into loud sobs.
"Aizawa-sensei, i-it keeps repeating. I- This is the third time I've woke up just to know I'm going to die again." He confessed between sobs. Aizawa stiffened. 'It wasn't only me...' He thought to himself. He walked over and laid a hand on his shoulder, making Midoriya look up at him.
"Kid, you're not the only one."
He watched green eyes widen, watched his lips tremble before he asked him: "A-Are you stuck too?"
Aizawa nodded. "Yes, my third time, too."
The kid launched himself off of the edge of the wood and slammed his head against Aizawa's chest, making him grunt at the pressure. But he said nothing and wrapped his arms around the kid. He needed comfort right now, obviously very confused and scared. Right now, he didn't look like the happy, skittish, incredibly intelligent student he saw in class or talked to during training sessions. Right now, he looked too young for his age, almost as if Aizawa saw him change into a child before his eyes.
"You're not alone, kid, we'll make it through this. It's okay." He spoke to the kid, resting his chin on his head. He was practically hunched over the kid, his head only hitting the middle of his chest. He wasn't old enough to deal with this shit yet.
When the kid finally calmed down, they walked into the dining area for breakfast. Noticing Midoriya's face, he grabbed two of his jelly pouches, handing one to the kid. Midoriya looked up in confusion, and he shrugged back at the kid.
"You don't look very hungry, but you need something in your body. That has all the same nutrients as a meal." He told him, tusseling his hair and directing him to sit with his friends. They all welcomed him into their conversation, telling him what he'd missed as if he didn't already know.
Aizawa sat at a table with the Pussycats and Vlad, making sure to keep an eye on the kid. Hopefully they'll be out of this situation soon.

After last time, Midoriya learned that it was not best to try and be ahead of the group. So instead, after having gotten some advice from Todoroki, decided to visit Kota at his 'secret base' and talk to him about heroes. He was partially up the mountain when he saw a cloud of dust and rocks flying from near where he knew Kota was. He started to run as fast as he could up the mountain, desperate to get to him before anything bad happened. Once he reached the top of the mountain, he sees Kota, looking incredibly scared and looks over to see Muscular. He manages to catch the man off-guard as he gives his stupid speech to a 6 year old and kicks him in the head with 100% of OFA. The force made his head bounce off of the side of the rock and he watched the light leave his eyes. He was out for now. He ran over to Kota, limping with his now-broken leg, and picked him up.
"Hold on tight with your arms around my neck, okay? We have to be fast."
Kota did so without hesitation. He ran as fast as he could down the mountain, and through the forest. It took him a long time to get this far, maybe an hour or two, before he finally found someone.
-*-*-
Aizawa saw the fire first before he heard anything about villains. He told the kids to stay in the facility, just like the first and second time, and went to check the reason for the wildfire, to call the other classes in and do a headcount, but was quickly stopped with a kick to the gut.
This was different.
He was focused on the villain in less than a second, his capture weapon at the ready. They traded blow after blow, fist after kick, punch after trip, for a few minutes before Aizawa caught Dabi in his capture weapon and held him so that he couldn't get free. He starts to look around for Mandalay or any other of the Wild Wild Pussycats. Suddenly, Dabi rips out of his grip and tries to make a run for it, but Aizawa tightens the capture weapon around him and begins interrogating him.
"Why are you here? What are you here for?"
"Ah-ah-ah, no can do."
"Tell me. Now." He growls, tightening his capture weapon. As soon as he tightens the cloth, Dabi turns into what looks like a pile of mud. He curses and looks around before deciding to go into the forest.
He walks for awhile before he sees a certain problem child limping towards him with a worried face and a child in his arms.
"Sensei!!"
"Midoriya? What happened?"
"Muscular. He attacked up there, where Kota was, I have to tell Mandalay!" He rushed, pushing Kota into his arms.
"Keep him safe for me, please?" He asked his teacher with wide, green eyes. He nodded, holding the boy his student had saved against his own chest.
"Wait a second! Before you run off, tell Mandalay this. Students have my permission to use their quirks to protect themselves, and to make their way to the facilities!"
The boy nodded and they ran together towards the building. This was good, this is longer than it lasted last time. While Aizawa went in to drop Kota into the building and make the others watch him, Izuku went to look for Mandalay. He found her being attacked by Spinner and ran over to help her.
Just as Aizawa stepped out of the building, he saw Midoriya off in the distance, running to Mandalay. In a fraction of a second, Spinner was spinning (true to his name) and his sword was now aimed for the kid's neck.
"Midoriya, No!!!" He ran and slid next to him, but he was too late. The kid was laying on the grass, choking on his own blood as his eyes drifted. By the time Aizawa got within distance from Spinner, his pocket knife in hand-
He woke up.
Sitting up with a gasp, he looked to the side, a calendar hung by the bed.
It still said July 25th... The same day once again.
That was a horrible loop.
His thoughts didn't stray much farther as he heard a scream from the boy's area. He was on his feet and running to the door in no time.
