Work Text:
Bugs settled himself onto Wile E.’s lap, wrapping his arms around his neck as Wile E. rested his hands on his back. Bugs batted his lashes at the coyote, giving him a flirtatious smile. Wile E. looked up at him intensely, feeling himself begin to heat up. He had to admit having a toon as sinful as Bugs on his lap was a lot for his mind to process.
He ran his hands over the rabbit’s back, admiring how soft he was. His hands traveled down his back to rest on Bugs’s hips, kneading them gently. Bugs sighed as Wile E. pressed kisses on his face and neck.
“Mm, that feels so good Wile E.” He moaned, his long grey ears flopping down.
“Just wait darling, this’ll feel even better.” He crooned, chastely kissing his lips. One of his hands gently gripped the base of the smaller one’s ears while the other snuck in between the rabbit’s legs. Wile E. bit down on Bugs’s neck as he fondled him, causing Bugs to gasp in pleasure. His pretty eyes fluttered closed as he threw his head back and—
The sound of his alarm clock going off woke Wile E. from his delightful dream, bringing him back to reality. He sighed in both disappointment and annoyance. None of that was real.
He shuffled out of bed and towards the bathroom, hoping a cold shower would help take care of his now obvious erection. As he got ready for work, he pondered this situation he found himself in as of late.
This is the fifth time this week I’ve had one of these dreams! I don’t know why I’m thinking about that rabbit like that but it’s certainly becoming a problem.
And unfortunately, this was a problem Wile E. was reluctant to talk to any of his fellow toons about. Even to Roadrunner and Sylvester, his closet friends. He wasn’t one hundred percent sure of what they’d think, so he wasn’t ready to share that yet. They would probably never let him live it down.
So he decided the best course of action would be to suffer in silence. If he didn’t acknowledge these weird feelings or inappropriate desires, they’d go away. He especially needed to stay away from Bugs. The coyote knew the rabbit would figure it out if he wasn’t careful, Bugs had sharp instincts and a hidden intelligence that most tended to underestimate.
Plus, he was too afraid to tell Bugs how he felt. The possibility of being rejected by the rabbit was just too high. It’d be best not say anything at all.
Wile E. arrived at the studio twenty minutes later, taking a deep breath. He felt a little more at ease when he saw his two closest friends Sylvester and Roadrunner approaching him.
“Sufferin’ succotash! It’s the super genius!” Sylvester exclaimed.
Wile E. rolled his eyes, albeit fondly. “You say that every day Sylvester.”
“Well it’s true!”
“He’s right, I’ve never seen anyone do what you do.” Roadrunner added.
“I suppose.”
“Are you alright Wile E.? Normally you’d agree with us and start goin’ off on some nerd tangent or somethin’.” The cat observed.
“I’m fine, I’m just out of sorts as of late. I’ve been dealing with a lot.” The coyote brushed off his friends’ concerns.
“Like what?” Roadrunner asked.
“I don’t want to discuss this right now.”
“No! Tell us, we’re your friends!” Roadrunner pleaded.
Wile E. hesitated. Part of him wanted to trust his friends but another part of him was still skeptical. After careful consideration, he begrudgingly decided to tell them.
“Fine. I have serious feelings for someone.” He sighed, exasperated.
The cat and bird gasped. “Who?”
Wile E. pondered his next steps. He wasn’t sure if he should just come out and say it or be more subtle. However he must’ve taken too long to reply because Sylvester butted in.
“How about this? I’m gonna say a couple names and we’ll know who it is based on your reaction!” He suggested, a mischievous look on his face.
Roadrunner had a suspicion he knew who it was but he wanted to see what crazy guesses Sylvester came up with.
The coyote rolled his eyes but went along with it anyway.
“Ok. Let’s go with the obvious first choice. Lola.”
“No. Really, she was your first guess?”
“Ok then. Penelope.”
“No. And I’m certain Lola and Penelope are together.”
“Oh yeah, right. Petunia!”
“They’re not a girl.” He confessed, a mixture of mortified and irritated.
Sylvester was flabbergasted.
“Hmm.” Roadrunner was a little too calm for Wile E.’s comfort.
“Ok ok. Pepe?” The cat kept going.
He shook his head, his nose wrinkling. Did his friend really think he’d put up with the skunk’s smell for more than thirty seconds?
“Elmer! No, Marvin! Foghorn, Porky, Daffy, Bugs—“
The coyote’s face instantly turned red when he heard the rabbit’s name.
“Ah hah!” Sylvester cried out in glee and then froze. “Wait, you’re tellin’ me you have a crush on Bugs Bunny? Oh that’s too rich!”
At Wile E.’s glare, the cat shut up. Roadrunner had a knowing grin. “I had a feeling. You talk about him a lot.”
“I need you both to swear to me you won’t speak of this to anyone, especially Daffy.” Wile E. had a serious tone.
“You afraid Bugs’s best pal is gonna come after you?”
“Don’t be ridiculous! I’m not afraid of a mere duck. He’s been known to gossip, that’s why. He would certainly tell Bugs and then the whole studio and I’m not prepared for that yet. I need to speak to him about this first.”
“Oh yeah! Remember when Lola and Penelope got together? Everyone in the studio knew in less than twenty minutes cause Daffy couldn’t keep that big beak shut!” Roadrunner and Sylvester laughed at the memory.
“Our lips are sealed.”
“Thank you.”
“Of course! We’re real ones, we wouldn’t spread your business around like that.”
As the trio walked inside, they weren’t aware one Porky Pig had been listening to their conversation. He hurried away, trying to pretend he hadn’t heard anything.
Half an hour later, Wile E., Sylvester, and Roadrunner were hanging around the breakfast table when Porky approached.
“Mor-morning folks! Ni-nice weather we’re having.” He remarked casually, still feeling a bit awkward on the inside.
“Yeah, nice and sunny.” Roadrunner said, not knowing what else to say.
“Look-look folks, I-I’m just going to say it. I-I heard what you were talk-talking about and I prom-promise not to say anything.”
The trio were gobsmacked. At first they tried to deflect.
“What’re you goin’ on about?” The cat nervously chuckled, looking from Wile E. to Roadrunner back to Wile E.
“It’s alright Sylvester. Listen Porky, I just ask that you not make Daffy aware of what you heard. I understand you two have been together for a long time but that duck tends to gossip and I want to keep this somewhat private for now.” Wile E. stated smoothly.
“No-no problem, I understand.” The pig responded and they all took a sigh of relief.
“If-if I may, I thi-think you should just tell Bu-Bugs.” He advised.
Before Wile E. could say anything, he heard the voice he was hoping wouldn’t be in the vicinity at this moment.
“Tell Bugs what?” The telltale lisp of Daffy Duck interrupted. He wrapped his arms around Porky with an ‘I’m up to no good’ expression.
They froze, but luckily Roadrunner was quick to come up with an excuse. He wasn’t just a fast runner.
“Sylvester ate the last of the carrot cake in the break room.” The blue bird lied.
“Oh, that’s it? Why’re we being so secretive then?”
This time, Porky came to the rescue. “Da-Daffy, i-is Bugs almost ready? The direc-the director wants everyone out here s-so he can give us our new pro-projects.”
“Uh, about that. Our dear pal Bugsy actually needs to talk to us about something first. He said it’s important.”
“Oh-oh dear. He-he usually isn’t this serious. I’ll see-see you folks in a bit!” Porky bid them goodbye as he and Daffy hurried away.
“I wonder what they’re gonna talk about.” Roadrunner mused.
“Hey, maybe they’re talkin’ about you!” Sylvester elbowed Wile E. slyly.
“Oh hush. Let’s just go wait for everyone.” The coyote briskly walked off, sipping his coffee.
The cat and bird exchanged glances and followed him, trying not to laugh.
~
“Alright everyone, gather round!” The director called. Everyone sat down, whispering to each other wondering what this was all about.
Out of the corner of his eye, Wile E. saw Daffy whisper something to Bugs that made him snicker quietly. It was then the coyote remembered how cute Bugs was when he laughed.
His little pink button nose would scrunch up slightly and his eyes would close while he smiled. He was so perfect.
He also felt a spike of jealousy, wishing it was him sitting next to Bugs, getting that attention from him.
He quickly turned his attention back to the director before he did something stupid and outed himself publicly.
“The team and I have been talking about making some changes in terms of filming partners. You all have gotten accustomed to your usual partner and we want to give you the opportunity to work with different toons, see some new faces.”
“Is this like forever?” Daffy asked what everyone in the room was thinking.
“No, it’s just an idea we had to mix things up. If these pairings don’t work out, we’ll change them again.”
Daffy still looked unconvinced.
“Daf, we don’t really got much of a choice now do we? Besides, we’re still workin’ with our friends.” Bugs piped up from his place on the couch.
“I guess that’s true.” The duck grumbled.
“Any more questions?” The director continued. No one else said anything.
“Perfect. When I call your names, go stand next to your new filming partner.” The director cleared his throat and unfolded a sheet of paper.
“What is this, grade school?” Bugs quipped, causing a few of the toons to giggle.
“Porky and Speedy.”
The pig, duck, and rabbit traded curious glances before Porky went to stand with Speedy.
“Marvin and Taz.”
More curious glances were thrown around the room.
“Daffy and Roadrunner.”
The two birds looked at each other eagerly. “Maybe this doesn’t have to suck!” Daffy remarked to Bugs as he stood.
“See? What’d I tell ya?” The rabbit grinned.
“Elmer and Yosemite.”
“Oh geez, double the guns.” Sylvester muttered to Tweety, who nodded in agreement.
“Tweety and Foghorn.”
“Sylvester and Pepe.”
The cat’s eyes widened, causing Wile E. to snort in amusement. He knew Pepe had a thing for the feline.
“Penelope and Lola.”
The girls squealed then hugged each other to which Daffy immediately complained.
“That’s not fair! If they get to work together why can’t I work with my boyfriend?!”
“Daffy, you always work with Porky, and if not him then Bugs. That’s why we’re doing this.” The director shut down his dissent.
“Bugs and Wile E.”
Roadrunner’s, Sylvester’s, and Porky’s jaws all dropped. Meanwhile Wile E. felt simultaneously overjoyed and nauseous.
He froze up when he saw the rabbit gracefully rise from the couch and make his way over to him, his usual confidence ever present. Wile E. tried not to stare at his swaying hips or adorable little tail.
When Bugs took his place next to his new filming partner, the coyote immediately noticed how good he smelled. His aroma was sweet yet musky. It was strong, recognizable. It was honestly the perfect fragrance for Bugs. It was intoxicating.
“What’s up genius?” Bugs drawled, gazing up at him with half lidded eyes. Wile E. swore the damn rabbit was giving him bedroom eyes.
He didn’t trust himself to speak, so he gave his companion a friendly nod.
Bugs raised a brow, about to say something, but suddenly the director was in front of them handing he and Wile E. their scripts.
“Alright, we’ll start filming tomorrow, so you have some time to get familiar with your scripts. Thanks everyone.”
As the toons all left with their new filming partners, Bugs and Wile E. stood silently for a moment, swapping curious glances at each other.
As the coyote studied his costar, a million thoughts went through his head. It truly sunk in how absolutely entranced he was by the rabbit. He had been since their first ever project together. Those long hours spent filming with him really awakened some legitimate feelings in Wile E. He had had some of the best conversations and interactions with him during those days, and he craved more of Bugs’s attention.
They would always talk at the studio get togethers, but he could never get anywhere substantial with Bugs because they were never left alone for more than five minutes. So being in front of him now, knowing they’d have a lot more opportunities to connect was a lot for Wile E.
That brought him back to the present. His eyes roamed the entirety of Bugs’s frame, taking in every feature like he’d never get to gaze upon him again.
Bugs’s small hands were clutching the script and Wile E. wondered what his hands looked like underneath the trademark white gloves. He yearned to hold those delicate hands in his own. He envisioned himself kissing the back of his hand while Bugs blushed.
He turned his attention to the little pink nose. He had never seen such an adorable nose before. It contrasted so much with his canine nose, which was more pronounced. He supposed that’s why it interested him. He imagined he and Bugs nuzzling their noses together while on a date.
He flushed as the familiar sensation started to return. He willed himself to think about other things until he saw the rabbit’s waist and hips. They were slightly feminine, slender and soft. Wile E. wanted nothing more than to run his hands all over them.
And then that fluffy little tail. He pictured gripping that tail tightly, smacking and pounding that pert ass while Bugs cried out for more.
He was absorbed in his fantasy until he heard a voice.
“Wile E.? Wile E.!”
He snapped out of his lovedrunk daze and saw Bugs, a concerned look on his cute face.
“You alright doc? You kinda zoned out on me there.”
“My apologies. I didn’t sleep the best last night.” Wile E. was horrified by his apparent lack of self control. Is this really how he was conducting himself in front of the object of his affections?
“It’s cool mac. I get like that too when I don’t sleep.” The rabbit reassured him, trying to put his fellow toon at ease.
“Did you wanna look over the script in my trailer or yours?” He asked, fixing the coyote with a charming grin.
“We can go to yours if you prefer.” Truthfully Wile E. didn’t care, he was getting to be around his crush either way.
“Sounds good!” Bugs’s eyes brightened, making them look even lovelier.
They set off, Wile E. slowing his pace to match the rabbit’s. Sometimes he forgot not all of his fellow toons had the stride length he had.
He held the door open for Bugs, taking pride at the pleasantly surprised look he received.
“Thanks doc!” He beamed and the coyote felt a smug expression forming. It’s what a gentleman would do, and he was raised right after all.
Once they were in the trailer, the awkwardness returned. The pair settled next to each other on the couch and sat quietly for a minute, not quite knowing what to say to one another.
Just being in this close proximity to Bugs was sending Wile E.’s brain into overdrive. His sweet, musky scent was filling his nose, clouding his senses.
Finally Bugs spoke, not wanting to deal with the awkward silence any longer. “So genius, should we start readin’ this thing?”
“That would be the obvious place to start, yes.” Wile E. said without thinking. Bugs’s brow raised and that was when he realized how that came across. He wanted to bash his head against the wall until he heard Bugs chuckle. He was confused.
“You get straight to it huh? I like that.“ The rabbit smirked, and Wile E. swore Bugs was flirting with him.
“I’ve always been…direct, for lack of a better word.” The coyote stated, looking Bugs straight in the eye. He thought he saw Bugs turn a slight shade of pink but he could’ve imagined it.
The rabbit cleared his throat and looked down at the script.
“Hm, this feels familiar, like we’ve done this before.” He pointed out.
Wile E. read a couple lines before nodding in agreement. “You’re right. It appears we’re doing another scenario where I attempt to eat you and you outwit me.”
“Yeah, they even brought out some of my old tricks! Remember when I scared you so bad you fell in the hole with the grenade in it?” Bugs happily reminisced.
“How could I forget that one? I can still feel it sometimes.” Wile E. grimaced.
“Sorry.” Bugs giggled sheepishly.
“It’s alright rabbit, it was just for show.”
They glanced at each other before quickly looking away.
“Ok, let’s do this.” The rabbit said, trying to distract himself from the odd fluttery feeling in his chest.
“It says you’re supposed to grab me and tie me to a table. That’s kinky.” Bugs teased, his eyes leaving the script to look at Wile E. They were sultry, dark and half lidded.
Wile E. felt himself start to sweat as the familiar sensation came back. Is he intentionally trying to get me aroused? He thought.
“We’ll have to improvise a bit.” The coyote bit out, once again doubting his self restraint. What he really wanted to do right now was pin the rabbit down and have his way with him but he couldn’t.
“We can use the couch.” Bugs proposed. To Wile E.’s shock, he laid down on his back and put his hands above his head, his wrists touching.
Bugs could see Wile E. was holding back. He thought this hesitant, almost shy Wile E. was cute. He couldn’t resist the urge to mess with him a bit.
“You can grab my wrists, I don’t mind.” He batted his lashes at his costar. The coyote gulped, and wrapped his larger hand around the small wrists. His grip was very loose, he didn’t want to hold on too tight and hurt him. That would almost certainly scare Bugs off and then he’d never be able to be this close to him again. At least that’s what his logical reasoning was.
But Bugs once again surprised him. “You can hold ‘em tighter than that, I can take it.” His voice was smooth like butter.
Wile E. obeyed, squeezing the wrists in his hand a little harder, his heart racing.
“This is intimate. You gonna buy me dinner first?” The rabbit joked.
It was then Wile E. realized this was his golden opportunity. They had only just started working together again and Bugs had already let him pin him down on a couch, what was the harm in offering?
Here goes nothing.
“If you’d like me to.” The words came out more tenderly than he intended, but they obviously had an effect on the rabbit.
Bugs blushed and Wile E. knew he didn’t imagine it this time.
“I’d like that.” He whispered, and they both knew he was being sincere.
Their eyes met and they could both feel the tension rising between them. The coyote released the rabbit’s wrists, and they stopped for a second.
Bugs then wrapped his arms around Wile E.’s neck and pulled him down closer to his face. Their eyes closed and they were just about to kiss when the door suddenly flew open.
“Bugsy! It’s me and Porky! Are you— OH MY GOD!” Daffy shouted.
Bugs and Wile E. sprang apart, quickly settling on opposite sides of the couch.
The duck was speechless while the pig was completely red, attempting to apologize for their intrusion.
“S-sorry f-folks! We-we didn’t realize you were busy.” Porky stammered.
“Oh they were certainly busy alright. So busy you forgot to lock the door!” Daffy smirked at Bugs.
“I believe this is a good time to excuse myself.” Wile E. awkwardly got off the couch and made his way to the door.
“I’ll walk you out.” Bugs was pissed. His two best friends essentially just cockblocked him and his longtime crush. He’d have to try again later.
“I’m sorry. Daffy’s never been big on manners.” The rabbit quietly apologized to the coyote.
“That’s alright, we can continue this another time. How about tomorrow before filming?” Wile E. was just ecstatic he had gotten this far to be frank.
“Sounds good, I’ll see ya then genius.” Bugs gave him a radiant smile which had Wile E.’s stomach doing backflips.
“Until then rabbit.” He turned to go but a smaller hand grabbing his stopped him in his tracks.
“Call me Bugs. We’re definitely on a first name basis now, don’t ya agree?”
“I think we are, Bugs.” It felt so right saying his name.
Bugs must’ve liked hearing him say it too because he gave him a sweet smile and stood on his tiptoes, kissing him on the cheek.
“Don’t forget ’bout that dinner you promised.” He winked and closed the door. He turned to his friends who had now taken their places on the couch.
“So you wanna tell me why you just barged into my trailer like that?”
“You wanna tell me why you didn’t tell us about your relationship?”
“What d’you mean? We don’t have a relationship.”
“Don’t be stupid! He was on top of you, you kissed him on the cheek, and you’re going out to dinner with him!” Daffy exclaimed.
“We were literally just runnin’ lines.” Bugs lied.
“Oh yeah, you were running lines for what? A stag reel?” Daffy raised a brow.
“Daf-Daffy!” Porky hissed from next to him.
“What?! Look at him, he’s totally lying to us!”
Bugs sighed. “You got me. We were actually runnin’ lines and then we got a lil’ carried away.”
“Why?”
“Do-do you like him?”
The rabbit had no idea what to do for once. Did he tell them the truth or cover it up?
“I’m taking your silence as a yes.” The duck threatened playfully.
“Ok yes! I like ‘im. Alright? You done grillin’ me now?”
“Oh no. We’re just getting started with you.”
“I thi-I think that’s gr-great Bugs. You-you’ve always sa-said you were waiting for the right one. May-maybe he’s the right one.” Porky was happy for his friend, especially since he knew something the other two didn’t.
“Porky might be onto something. You’ve never really given anyone a chance. Maybe he’s the one who will help you let your guard down.”
“I guess.” Bugs shrugged.
“I’m just saying, you’ve never been this…comfortable with someone before. It’s a sign!”
“A sign?” The rabbit deadpanned.
The duck and pig nodded.
“Bu-Bugs, we ju-we just want you to be happy.”
“I am happy! Look at the life I’ve made for myself.” Bugs tried to assure his friends.
“But don’t you want someone to share it with?”
“Well yeah, but I’m just gonna let that happen when it happens. I mean yeah Wile E. and I were foolin’ ‘round but that could just be hormones talkin’.”
At that moment, Porky was dying to tell Bugs what he’d heard that morning but he stopped himself. He’d promised Wile E. he wouldn’t tell anybody. So he sat in silence instead.
“Alright, we have to go finish running our own lines so we’ll leave you to it. Just think about what we said, ok?”
“I will.” Bugs fondly rolled his eyes at his friends as they left. He knew his friends cared for him, but they had an odd way of showing it.
Once they were outside, Porky couldn’t take it anymore. He grabbed Daffy’s wrist and pulled him towards the nearest secluded spot he could find.
“Ooh, you feeling frisky? You know we’ve been together for ten years right? You can just tell me if you wanna make out, I’m not gonna say no.”
“Da-Daffy, ge-get your mind out of the gutter! I-I need to tell you some-something important and you can’t tell anyone.”
“Ok.”
“I-I’m serious. If-if you tell somebody, I-I won’t cuddle with you for a month.”
“I get it, sheesh! You don’t have to threaten your poor boyfriend like that! I won’t say nothing!”
“Wi-Wile E. actually likes Bu-Bugs. He-he w-wants more than just fooling around.”
“For real?! How d’you know?”
“I-I heard him telling Ro-Roadrunner and S-S-Sylvester this morning.”
“So they could actually end up together?”
Porky nodded.
“Well let’s hope for Bugs’s sake that this works out.”
“A-agreed.”
~
Wile E. was in a euphoric mood when he got home. He could still feel where Bugs’s lips touched his cheek, and he knew his mind would be bringing up old memories about Bugs tonight, he just knew it.
He was right. Mere seconds after his head hit the pillow, the dream started.
They were on the set of one of their first episodes together, chatting pleasantly while on a break. Bugs and Wile E. were settled down by a large rock in the gorgeous desert scape they were filming in. They didn’t film outside much anymore. Wile E. missed that.
The rabbit and the coyote had been growing close as of late, and everyone at the studio had an inkling they might become more than friends.
It was what their conversation had drifted to while they were conversing.
“Hey genius, you ever think ‘bout who the right toon is for you?” Bugs had asked out of nowhere.
Wile E. was taken aback. That was certainly apropos of nothing. He pondered before responding.
“I suppose so, yes. Do you?”
“Yeah I do. I’m thinkin’ ‘bout ‘em right now.”
They glanced at each other curiously.
“Wile E.? Can I tell ya somethin’?” Bugs sounded uncharacteristically serious.
“Of course. What?”
“Wile E., I think I lo-“
“Alright everyone, let’s wrap this up!” The director’s voice cut the rabbit off, and the coyote was secretly upset. He really wanted to know what Bugs was gonna tell him.
“Never mind I guess. Maybe I can tell ya later.” The rabbit shrugged casually.
“Perhaps you can.” Wile E. tried to mask the disappointment in his tone.
They stood and walked off together, both trying to hide their obvious displeasure.
Bugs was never able to tell Wile E. later. Every time they tried to speak to one another for more than five minutes, they were disrupted by somebody. Eventually, it seemed like both of them gave up, continuing to stay friendly with each other. Then they were put back with their usual costars and they could hardly interact anymore. The coyote still hadn’t forgotten how disheartening it all was.
Wile E. woke up to the sound of his alarm clock, just like the day before. He was once again alone in his bed, much to his chagrin. These dreams were starting to feel especially cruel, offering him what he couldn’t have.
One hour later, he was at the breakfast table with Roadrunner and Sylvester when he heard someone behind him.
“What’s up genius?”
Wile E. jumped, making his friends snicker. He turned around to see it was Bugs.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare ya!” Bugs chuckled guiltily.
“It’s alright Bugs.”
“You hear that Roadrunner? It’s alright.” Sylvester teased lightly.
“Oh hi folks, how are you?” The rabbit greeted his fellow toons.
“We’re doing lovely, right Wile E.?” The cat continued, jabbing the coyote with his elbow. Wile E. glared at him.
“You folks mind if I borrow Wile E. for a while? He promised we’d rerun our lines ‘fore filmin’ today.”
“Oh no problem, I’m sure he’d be more than happy to go with you.” Roadrunner spoke up, smirking. Wile E. turned to scowl at him too.
“That’s our bad Bugs, we should’ve realized he was making you promises already, he’s quite the gentleman.” Sylvester continued to prod.
The coyote was ready to shut both toons up. Why were his friends like this?
Bugs, always the mischievous one, played along with them. “Oh, that’s not all he’s promised me docs. He’s gonna buy me dinner too, ain’t that right Wile E.?”
Now Wile E. wanted to shut Bugs up too. If he had his way, he would slam his lips onto the rabbit’s and listen to his little muffled whimpers like music.
Instead, he collected his thoughts. “I haven’t forgotten, Bugs. Now why don’t we go rerun those lines you mentioned to our dear friends?” He shot a dark look at the cat and bird while offering a hand for Bugs to take.
To his delight, Bugs placed his small gloved hand in his larger one and beamed up at him. Wile E. led them away without another word, stopping to hold the door for the rabbit.
“Wow doc, Sylvester was right. You really are a gentleman.” He batted his lashes at the coyote, taking his hand again.
“So, when are you takin’ me to dinner?” Bugs continued, a flirtatious glint in his eyes.
Wile E. gulped. Bugs was not making this any easier for him. But this was what he wanted so he wasn’t gonna complain. He quickly composed himself.
“We could go tonight if you’d like. I know a nice place, very highly recommended.”
“Tonight it is then!” Bugs sounded so chipper, and the coyote couldn’t believe he was actually looking forward to going out with him.
After running lines for an hour, it was finally time for them to start filming, and Wile E. wasn’t sure how he felt. He normally didn’t doubt himself or his abilities, he was a genius after all, but he really wanted to impress Bugs. So naturally, he was a bit more apprehensive than usual.
Bugs seemed to pick up on this, because right before they entered the set, he stopped and turned to him with a concerned expression.
“You alright genius? You’re quieter than usual.”
“I’m quite alright Bugs. I’m just contemplating.” Wile E. assuaged his costar. He refused to show weakness to the rabbit.
Bugs raised a brow, unconvinced. He then grabbed the coyote’s hands. “It’ll go great, you’ll see.” He smiled brightly at Wile E. He had to admit that dazzling smile did a lot to calm him down.
They entered the set and were immediately greeted by the director. “Bugs! Wile E.! Right on schedule. You both ready?”
“I’m ready. What ‘bout you genius?” Bugs was cool and confident as ever, looking over to the coyote.
That confidence must’ve rubbed off on Wile E. because he suddenly felt much more relaxed and reassured.
“Absolutely.” He calmly remarked, more so to Bugs than the director.
“Perfect. Here’s how our first scene’s gonna go. Bugs, you’ll start the scene off in that bed over there. Wile E., you’re gonna need this.” The director handed him a fake knife.
“When it’s time, you’re gonna sneak into Bugs’s room, go right up to the bed, cover his mouth and threaten him with the knife. Then you’ll walk him over here and tie him to that table. Are we clear?”
Both toons nodded, quickly glancing at each other.
“Alright, places everyone!”
“Break a leg genius.” Bugs winked at Wile E. before setting off for the bed, getting in and closing his eyes.
“And… action!”
The coyote got into character, creeping over to the bedroom set and quietly opened the door, taking care to not make too much noise. He stalked over to the bed, taking out his knife.
He stood over the sleeping rabbit, watching him with a wicked grin. Bugs shifted slightly in the bed, and that was when Wile E. decided to strike. He launched forward, covering Bugs’s mouth with one of his large hands. The other swiftly put the knife to the rabbit’s throat.
“Mmphh!” Bugs awoke with a muffled cry and tensed up, eyes wide with fear. His breathing got heavier, stifled behind the coyote’s hand.
“Listen closely little rabbit. You can either get out of bed and come with me voluntarily or I’ll cut your throat right now. Your choice. And don’t you dare scream when I uncover your mouth.”
He removed his hand, and Bugs’s quick breathing could be heard more clearly now, but he didn’t scream.
“So what will it be my boy?”
“Y-You can put that away doc, I’ll go with you.” He said shakily.
“A wise decision little friend. But you can’t trick me that easily. I think I’ll be keeping this out for now.”
Wile E. forced Bugs out of bed and wrapped an arm around his waist, repositioning the knife at his throat.
“Now walk.”
Bugs tentatively stepped forward.
“Good boy. Now let’s go, I plan to have you for breakfast.”
After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at the coyote’s den. Wile E. pushed Bugs inside and up to the kitchen table.
“Alright little bunny. I’m going to lift you onto the table. If you try to fight me in any way, I’ll kill you. Do you understand me?”
Bugs nodded silently, not trusting himself to speak.
“Good little rabbit.” He picked the rabbit up and set him on the table, putting the knife back to his throat as he forced him to lie down and restrained him.
“So what now doc, are you gonna kill me?”
“Not yet, my boy. I have to figure out what I want to do with you first.”
“Let’s see now, I could fricassee him, or I could turn him into a breakfast burrito.” Wile E. muttered under his breath as he went to retrieve one of his many cookbooks.
“And… cut!” The director called. “That was brilliant you two! We’ll continue the rest of the scene tomorrow, we need to start filming with Daffy and Roadrunner. Someone help Bugs out of those ropes while I go prepare everything we need for the birds.”
The director bustled away and the crew started wrapping up. Wile E. began untying the ropes wrapped around Bugs, pushing them off the table once the rabbit was free.
“See? What’d I tell ya, it went great!” Bugs sat up, grinning widely.
“I suppose you were right my friend.” Wile E. agreed, returning his smile.
The duo gazed at each other for a few moments, the tension from yesterday returning.
Bugs had countless emotions flooding through him. He hadn’t been this turned on since the last time he filmed with Wile E. The way the coyote grabbed him and spoke to him with that deep, suave voice brought forth something in the rabbit that had been laying dormant for a long time. Especially when he called him a good boy.
Bugs may not have been a super genius like Wile E. but he was still intelligent in his own way. He had a suspicion that the coyote had genuine feelings for him, and he absolutely reciprocated those feelings. He decided he would push a little further with the taller toon today, just to see if he could get him to admit it.
He put his plan into action. “Wile E., you’re a gentleman. Help me down?” He fixed Wile E. with a playful look, lifting his arms. He knew damn well he was capable of getting off the table but he wanted to see what the coyote would do.
“Of course Bugs.” Wile E. lifted him into his arms without hesitation. He paused, watching Bugs curiously. Their eyes met again and the rabbit flitted his lashes at him as he wrapped his arms around Wile E.’s neck.
The coyote felt himself getting warm as he remembered he was still holding Bugs. He carefully set Bugs down, his heart beating hard.
“Thanks handsome!” He kissed the taller toon on the cheek.
Wile E. had no idea how to respond. He was certain Bugs was testing him now, trying to gauge how far he could push him. And he had fallen right into his trap.
He had no problem letting Bugs play his little games with him however. It was fun for him too.
“You’re quite welcome darling.”
A pause.
“Well, I’m gonna go find Porky. Meet me at my trailer when everyone leaves. I’ll be waitin’.” Bugs ran the tips of his long ears underneath Wile E.’s chin as he sauntered away, his hips swaying hypnotically like a pendulum.
As he left, he passed Daffy and Roadrunner who had arrived for filming. They had seen the entirety of the pair’s interaction and were gaping, beaks open.
“What’s up birds?” He winked at them. The birds traded flabbergasted expressions.
Meanwhile, Wile E. was standing there with a dopey smile.
“Excuse me a second.” Roadrunner said to Daffy, rushing to the coyote’s side before he even realized he was there.
“Wile E.!”
Wile E. jumped for the second time that day. “For fuck’s sake, are you trying to give me a heart attack?!”
Roadrunner was astonished. He had never heard Wile E. swear before. Apparently neither had Daffy, who was eavesdropping by the door. His jaw dropped even more.
“What was that about?”
“What’re you on about?”
“You know exactly what I’m talking about. You and Bugs were looking awfully cozy. Did you finally tell him how you feel?”
“No, I haven’t.”
“Why not?”
“I don’t know Roadrunner! Why are you asking me all these incessant questions?!”
“Because I’m one of your best friends and it’s my job to annoy you.”
“I don’t know how he’ll take it.”
“I really think you’re overthinking this. It’s obvious Bugs has some affection for you. I saw what he was doing. Just tell him. You’re taking him out for dinner tonight right?”
At Wile E.’s nod, he continued. “Promise me you’ll tell him then?”
“Why do you care so much?”
“Because I want you to be happy.”
“Ok, I’ll tell him tonight at dinner, I swear.”
“Good.” And with that, Roadrunner went back over to Daffy. The coyote saw the two birds whispering furiously to each other. He paid it no mind, he had a date to prepare for.
~
The end of the day finally rolled around and Wile E. was finishing his preparations for dinner with Bugs. He had picked a simple blazer to wear since the restaurant they were going to was nice but not that nice. He could afford to be more casual. He still wanted to make sure he was presentable though. For Bugs.
He grabbed his gift for Bugs and headed over to the rabbit’s trailer, looking forward to seeing him again.
He knocked on the door and waited patiently. “Come in!” He heard from inside.
When he opened the door, the sight in front of him took his breath away. There was Bugs, wearing a more laidback version of his white outfit from Carrotblanca, brushing the fur on his ears with an almost dreamy smile. He saw Wile E. in the reflection of the mirror and had to do a double take. He slowly turned to face him, his fluffy cheeks turning what Wile E. considered to be a lovely shade of pink.
“Wow, you should wear that more often doc. You look really handsome.”
“And you look…” Wile E. searched for a strong enough word to describe how breathtaking Bugs looked.
“Good?” Bugs offered.
“Stunning. Absolutely perfect.” The coyote sincerely replied. Bugs flushed even more.
“I brought you something.” Wile E. continued, presenting a bouquet to the rabbit. But this bouquet was different. Instead of flowers, it had carrots.
“For lil’ ol’ me? Aw jeez, thanks doc!” Bugs gave him a sweet smile. He set the bouquet on the vanity and threw his arms around the coyote, pulling him into a hug.
Wile E. was surprised for a split second before returning the gesture, gathering Bugs as close to him as he could. Having the rabbit in his arms twice in one day felt so good. He took this opportunity to bury his nose into the fur on top of Bugs’s head, right in between his ears. He smelled divine, his sweet fragrance filling his nose.
He could’ve sworn he felt Bugs nuzzle his chest with his head before they separated.
“Why don’t we get going, Bugs?” Wile E. offered his arm to the rabbit, still being the quintessential gentleman.
“I’d love to, Wile E.” Bugs happily took the offered arm. The coyote loved the way Bugs said his name. If he got his way tonight, he’d have the rabbit saying his name in a bunch of different ways.
They walked for a while, talking casually about things at the studio. When they arrived at the restaurant, Wile E. held the door for Bugs and pulled out his chair for him, pushing it in for him once he was seated.
“So chivalry ain’t dead, huh?” Bugs jested.
“Not at all my dear.” Wile E. enjoyed seeing Bugs smile so brightly at him. It was so endearing.
They ordered some wine and their meals and Bugs waited until the waiter was gone before speaking.
“Thanks for doin’ this for me genius. You didn’t have to.”
“I didn’t have to yes, but I wanted to.”
“Well I appreciate it.”
There was a brief pause before the rabbit continued.
“D’you remember when we first filmed together?”
Wile E. chuckled, a deep baritone that Bugs found really sexy. “How could I forget? I have to admit, I was quite excited when they paired me up with you.”
Bugs was flattered. “Really?”
“Of course, you’re the star of the show, every single one of us toons have wanted to work with you. So many of us have made our names because of you.”
The rabbit felt himself begin to heat up, his heart starting to race.
“Well sure, but you all helped me too. All of you challenged me, made me a better actor. I’m the toon I am today cause of you.” He pointed out, reaching his hand across the table to grab Wile E.’s.
Right before Wile E. could make his next move, the waiter returned with the food and Bugs pulled his hand back. He already missed the feeling of the rabbit’s little hand in his.
They ate their food in a comfortable silence, occasionally making eye contact with each other.
The waiter came back with the bill, setting it on the table before leaving.
“I’ll take care of it.” Bugs offered, pulling his wallet out of his hammerspace.
“Nonsense. I not only promised to take you out to dinner, but I promised to buy it for you as well. I’m a coyote of my word.” Wile E. asserted, taking out his own wallet.
Bugs stared at him for a second. His hyper independent nature was accustomed to providing for himself, but a larger part was telling him to let Wile E. do this for him. It would be nice to have someone spoil him for once, and besides, he had already let the coyote pamper him quite a bit tonight. Might as well see how hard he could make him work.
“Alright doc, if you insist.” He put his wallet away and Wile E. felt victorious in a sense. He actually got Bugs to willingly relinquish some of his independence. As far as he was concerned, no one had ever been able to do that before.
Wile E. paid and they left soon after, Bugs once again hanging on his arm.
“So what do we do now?” The rabbit asked him.
Wile E. stopped, realizing that he hadn’t planned for this.
“I don’t know, I didn’t think I would get this far.” He admitted sheepishly. Bugs tittered, which the coyote found heartwarming.
“I have an idea. Why don’t we go somewhere more… private?” The rabbit lilted, using one of his long ears to caress Wile E.’s chin.
Wile E. gulped, glancing down at the little rabbit on his arm. This was what he was waiting for! So why couldn’t he move?
“Wile E.?” He snapped out of his daze when he heard Bugs’s voice, sounding concerned.
“I’m sorry, I was distracted. I know just the place we can go.”
By the time they reached their destination, night had fallen. The stars were lighting up the sky, making the desert atmosphere around them look even more beautiful.
“Wait, this looks familiar. Is this the desert where we filmed our old episodes?” Bugs questioned, taking in the scenery with wide, awestruck eyes.
“It is. Nostalgic, hmm?” Wile E. was looking intently at Bugs, trying to gauge his reaction.
“Yeah, I forgot how pretty it is out here.”
The rabbit watched curiously as the coyote took out a blanket from his hammerspace, laying it out on the ground.
“What’re you doin’?”
“Come join me.” Wile E. said simply, extending his hand to Bugs.
“Alright genius, I’m comin’.” Bugs laughed. He took the other’s hand, cheeks turning pink when the back of his hand was kissed gently. He allowed Wile E. to help him settle down on the blanket.
They laid back, Bugs resting his head on Wile E.’s chest. Wile E. slung his arm over the smaller toon’s waist as they stared up at the sky, enjoying the other’s company.
The rabbit shifted his focus from the stars to his companion. He studied the coyote, taking in all of his features with barely concealed desire. He decided now was the perfect time to make his move.
“Hey Wile E.?”
“Hm?”
“I know your secret.”
“I haven’t the slightest idea what you’re referring to.”
“C’mon now doc, a genius like you knows better than to play dumb. I know you have feelins’ for me.” He climbed on top of Wile E., straddling the taller coyote.
“Do you now?”
“Duh. Did ya really think I wouldn’t figure it out?”
“No, I’m absolutely sure you’ve known for quite some time. But there is something you don’t know.”
“And what’s that?”
“What I know about you.”
Bugs shuddered, and it wasn’t due to the cool night breeze. He exhaled, putting on his signature easygoing smile.
“Oh yeah? And what d’you know ‘bout me?” He challenged.
Wile E. chuckled, a low, rumbly sound that made Bugs heat up inside.
“I know you want someone to put you in your place, my dear.” The coyote murmured, abruptly seizing the rabbit’s hips and pushing him down against the blanket.
Bugs gasped, his eyes wide. As Wile E. looked into his eyes, he saw not fear, but arousal.
“It must be difficult to be so independent all the time, never allowing anyone to help you. You so badly want someone to take care of you, to surrender yourself to someone, isn’t that right darling?” His lips were against Bugs’s cheek.
Bugs hated to admit it, but the coyote was dead on target. He’d have to swallow his pride if he wanted this to go any further. Not completely though. He was still gonna have his fun with Wile E.
“That’s impressive doc, you really pulled one over on me. Not many can.” He paused. “You were right though. That’s exactly what I want.”
Wile E. smirked arrogantly, making his heart skip a beat. But Bugs wasn’t finished.
“So do it then. Put me in my place.” Bugs purred seductively. The coyote’s eyes darkened. His little bunny was clearly daring him now. If that wasn’t an invitation, he didn’t know what was.
The taller toon swiftly stood, sweeping the rabbit into his arms and throwing him over his shoulder. Bugs yelped, now finding himself slung over his date’s shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
“What’re you doin’? I can walk on my own y’know!” While he was a little confused as to why the coyote wouldn’t tell him to just stand up and walk with him, he actually quite enjoyed Wile E.’s obvious assertion of his dominance.
“We’re going somewhere more… appropriate my dear.”
The coyote reached his home in a matter of minutes, getting them inside as quickly as possible. He strode to his bedroom and laid Bugs down on the bed. He took off his blazer, tossing it aside before ripping off Bugs’s clothes, getting on top of him.
“Wi-mmphh!” Their lips met, eyes closing, and Wile E. was in awe of how delectable his rabbit’s lips were. They kissed passionately for what felt like forever until Bugs pulled away, his gorgeous brown eyes fluttering open.
“Wile E., touch me.” Bugs panted softly.
“Like this my dear?” Wile E. muttered lowly, his hands roaming over his chest down to Bugs’s waist and hips, slowly running his fingers through the velvety soft fur there.
“Mm, yes…” The rabbit trailed off, shuddering at the teasing touch. His neck rolled involuntarily, and the coyote couldn’t resist the intense need to sink his teeth into it.
He carefully bit down on Bugs’s neck, feeling himself harden when he heard the resulting noise.
“Harder, please.” Bugs moaned, his hands moving to grip Wile E.’s shoulders. Wile E. obliged, biting with more force this time.
“Just like that, fuck.” Bugs gasped, his back arching as he squeezed his coyote’s shoulders.
One of Wile E.’s hands traveled from Bugs’s sides to in between his legs while the other gripped his long grey ears. He glided his hand along the underside of Bugs’s cock while biting his neck even harder and roughly tugging on his ears.
The rabbit cried out in pain and pleasure, his fingers burying into the brown fur on Wile E.’s back.
“Oh god Wile E.! More, please!”
“More, my darling? Well, since you asked me so nicely.”
He moved his hand faster over the rabbit’s cock, jerking him off. Bugs’s eyes fell closed as he felt his orgasm building. He wasn’t going to last much longer.
“I’m gonna come Wile E.!”
“Not yet my dear. I’m not done with you yet.” The coyote goaded. He removed his hand, cutting the pleasure off entirely. Bugs whined in dismay, pouting at him adorably.
“Now, now, none of that, my little bunny. You’ll enjoy this even more, I promise you.” Wile E. murmured in his ear. He flipped Bugs over so he was now lying on his stomach.
The rabbit inhaled shakily as he felt his coyote’s large hands trailing down his back, eventually resting on his hips. Then nothing.
As much as he didn’t want to, Wile E. removed his hands from Bugs to feel around for the lube in his bedside drawer. He slathered a liberal amount onto his cock and lined it up to Bugs’s entrance.
Meanwhile, Bugs was about to turn and plead for more when he felt the head of Wile E.’s cock push against his hole. He could feel the cold and slick sensation from the lube and it made him shiver.
Bugs’s heart beat faster as he realized just how big his lover was. He wondered how Wile E. would get that monster of a cock to fit, even with lube.
“Are you alright darling? You’re trembling.” He felt the coyote tenderly kiss the back of his neck, and he was touched by the caring gesture.
“I’m fine, please just fuck me now. I’m ready.” Bugs panted, his hands gripping the blanket underneath him.
“Mm, it’s enthralling how eager you are. Good boy.” Wile E. crooned, sliding in with one fluid thrust. Bugs whimpered as his body fought to accommodate his coyote’s length.
“Oh fuck, you’re so big.” Bugs moaned loudly, pushing back onto the huge cock inside him, encouraging Wile E. to move.
The coyote got the message, pulling out and pushing his cock back in, hitting the rabbit’s sweet spot dead on.
“Oh god! More Wile E., more!” Bugs sobbed, tears running down his cheeks. He had never felt so full in his life.
“You look so beautiful like this Bugs. You’re doing so well for me.” Wile E. praised his lover, pressing gentle kisses and bites down his back.
He thrust even harder, gripping Bugs’s fluffy tail roughly. He listened with pride as Bugs’s moans and cries grew louder. It was him making the rabbit feel like this, no one else.
“Oh shit Wile E., I’m gonna come!” Bugs wailed.
“Go ahead darling, you’ve earned it.” Wile E. stroked the rabbit’s ears lovingly.
Bugs came with a long, pleasured moan, his whole body shaking. Wile E. groaned, coming not long after, filling his partner to the brim with his seed.
The coyote pulled out, watching in glee as the excess come ran down the rabbit’s legs. He gathered his bunny into his arms, kissing his lips gently.
Bugs gave him a tired smile, nuzzling their noses together. The tips of their long ears intertwined, an almost symbolic way of suggesting they were now joined as one.
“How about a shower my dear?” Wile E. strengthened his grip on Bugs, prepared to carry him.
“As long as you help keep me upright doc, I’m beat.” The rabbit’s arms encircled his coyote’s neck, a subtle sign for him to pick him up.
“Of course my fine little bunny.” Wile E. joined their lips again as they headed to the bathroom.
After the shower, the couple (they were certainly more than friends now) got back into bed, Wile E. wrapping his arms around Bugs’s waist. Bugs returned the affectionate gesture, resting his head on Wile E.’s chest and nuzzling the fur there.
Holding Bugs was addicting, and now that they were together like this, the coyote would take the opportunity to hold his bunny as much as possible.
“Wile E.? D’you remember when I tried to tell ya somethin’ important on set a long time ago?” Bugs asked, stroking the fur on Wile E.’s chest.
The coyote focused his attention back onto his lover. “Yes my dear, I remember.“ One of his hands left the rabbit’s waist to hold one of his small, grey ones. Bugs still hadn’t put his gloves back on after their shower, and Wile E. was relishing in the fact that he may have been one of the only toons to see Bugs without his gloves in such an intimate setting.
“Well I can finally tell you now. I love you.” Bugs’s big, beautiful brown eyes met Wile E.’s smaller, yellow ones.
When the coyote didn’t say anything, the rabbit was worried he might’ve taken it too far. His worries were quickly put to rest when he felt Wile E.’s fingertips tenderly petting the fur in between his ears.
“There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you too. I love you. I’ve loved you for quite some time.” The coyote confessed, pressing a kiss to the back of the rabbit’s hand.
Bugs smiled, eyes sparkling. “I already knew that. I just wanted to hear you say it.” He pushed their lips together, kissing him deeply. It reminded Wile E. of how the rabbit kissed him during some of their episodes. It was nostalgic in a sense.
They fell asleep a little while later, holding each other close, both with content smiles on their faces.
~
The next morning, the sound of the alarm clock woke Wile E. from his slumber, and he was almost positive last night had been another dream. He was about to groan in disbelief when he looked down and saw his lover in his arms, sleeping peacefully.
Wile E. sighed in satisfaction, thrilled he wasn’t waking up alone. He stretched, moving to silence the alarm clock.
His movements caused Bugs to stir. Those bright, lovely eyes opened, fixing themselves on his partner.
“Mornin’ handsome. How’d you sleep?” Bugs propped himself up on his elbows, fluttering his lashes playfully at Wile E.
“Wonderfully. How about you darling?” Wile E. smiled fondly at his lover, tenderly petting the rabbit’s long grey ears.
“Oh, I slept great. You make a very comfortable pillow.” Bugs said teasingly, making the coyote chuckle.
They stayed in bed for a few more minutes, wishing they could spend the whole day like this. But they both knew they couldn’t.
They begrudgingly got up and began to get ready for work. Wile E. had to admit, having Bugs there made the process much more enjoyable.
Twenty minutes later, they were in front of the studio, about to go in. Bugs draped himself on Wile E.’s arm, beaming up at him.
“You ready genius?”
“Absolutely.” He gazed down at the rabbit on his arm, nuzzling their noses together.
They entered, their focus entirely on each other.
The first toons to notice the new couple were Elmer and Yosemite. They were running their lines when Elmer happened to look up from his script and see Bugs and Wile E. walk by.
In all his years of knowing the rabbit, Elmer had never seen him so in love before. The coyote looked incredibly smug, and the man supposed he would be too if he had Bugs Bunny hanging on his arm.
“Yosemite, wook.” He said discreetly, tapping the other man’s shoulder.
The cowboy looked up and his jaw dropped. “Wasn’t expectin’ that.” Yosemite said after a while.
“You got that wight.” Elmer agreed, still in shock.
The next ones to see Bugs and Wile E. were Lola and Penelope. Lola was helping Penelope brush her fluffy, voluminous tail when the pair passed by, looking quite happy.
She momentarily looked away from what she was doing, her eyes lighting up. It seems Bugs had finally taken her advice. She was the first one he came to when he realized his feelings for Wile E., and she had told him to just tell the coyote how he felt. He had balked at that idea at the time, but now it was quite obvious he took her words to heart.
“Look Pen!” She got her girlfriend’s attention, and the cat turned slightly, her eyes widening slightly when she saw them.
The girls giggled. “Good for them.” Penelope said. Lola caught Bugs’s eye and flashed him a smile, and he returned it, full of gratitude.
A little while later, Sylvester and Roadrunner were at the breakfast table, filling their plates while the cat rambled.
“Filming with Pepe has absolutely sucked for me! He’s so handsy all the time! I should ask Wile E. if he can build me some sort of suit of armor, cause there aren’t many places left where that skunk’s hands haven’t been!” Sylvester complained.
“Where is Wile E. anyway? He’s usually here before us.” Roadrunner wondered. Then his beak dropped open.
“Roadrunner, what’re you starin’ at?”
The bird wordlessly lifted a wing and pointed over the cat’s shoulder.
Sylvester turned around and his eyes widened.
“Sufferin’ succotash!”
Sylvester’s loud exclamation caught the couple’s attention, and they traded amused glances before walking over to them.
“Well, well, well, took you long enough!” The cat cried once the pair was in front of him.
“Oh hush. I don’t need to hear it from you.” Wile E. gruffly admonished. Bugs giggled from next to him, a sound Wile E. found heartwarming.
Roadrunner turned his attention to the rabbit. “So he finally told you huh?”
“Oh I already knew. I just got ‘im to admit it.”
The bird had a knowing glint in his eyes. “How’d you manage that?”
“I have my ways, right handsome?” Bugs pressed his body closer to his lover’s side, looking up at him with naughty eyes.
The coyote felt himself getting aroused, and he willed the inappropriate feelings to go away before Roadrunner and Sylvester caught on.
“He certainly does. But I have my ways as well, isn’t that right my dear?” He stared down at his bunny, sending him a subtle warning. Bugs blushed furiously.
“Will you two excuse us for a moment?” He led the rabbit away before that mouth of his could get them into any more trouble.
The bird and cat smirked at each other. Things would definitely be more interesting around the studio now.
As soon as Wile E. found a less public spot, he pushed Bugs up against the wall, gripping his chin tenderly. His yellow, predatory eyes greedily took in the sight of his pretty little bunny’s eyes, dilated with lust.
“What was that about darling? You can’t go around acting that way in front of everyone. Behave yourself.” He murmured, inches from his ear.
“Don’t act like you don’t like it.”
“I would like it if you behaved yourself in front of others, my sweet.”
“Aw, don’t you like it when I misbehave?” Bugs taunted, wrapping his arms around Wile E.’s neck.
“I suggest you stop running your mouth before I make you stop.”
“Do it. Make me.” Bugs purred, breaking any resistance he had left.
The coyote’s grasp on the rabbit’s chin tightened as he slammed their lips together. Bugs let out a muffled sigh as the passion in the air grew. Before they could really get into it though, they heard two familiar voices interrupt.
“Wow, you two aren’t wasting any time huh?” Daffy smirked, while his boyfriend Porky silently stood there, mouth agape.
“And you two are interruptin’, again.” Bugs protested, reluctantly separating himself from Wile E.
“Ho, ho, somebody’s tetchy. We heard the big news and just wanted to come congratulate you two.”
Bugs’s eyes softened slightly. “Sorry Daf. I didn’t mean to snap on ya.”
“No-no, it’s ok Bugs. We-we’ll let you finish up here. Con-congratulations again!” Porky stuttered, still a little taken aback by what he saw.
They walked away, leaving the new couple alone.
Once they were far enough away, the duck laughed. “Remember when we were like that Porky?”
“Ye-yep, the hon-honeymoon phase. Soo-soon enough they’ll be just like us.” The pig chortled, grabbing his partner’s wing.
“What’s that supposed to mean?!”
“No-nothing.”
“Oh ok. Continue.” Daffy brushed it off and Porky rolled his eyes lovingly.
Wile E. and Bugs watched the whole thing, shaking their heads slightly. “Sorry, they don’t always do this.”
“It’s alright my dear. We weren’t exactly being discreet.”
“So how much time we got ‘fore filmin’?”
“Twenty five minutes.”
“That’s more than enough time, don’t ya think so too?” Bugs kissed Wile E. once more, encouraging his coyote to take control.
Wile E. hungrily kissed him back, more satisfied now than he’d been in his entire life.
