Nobody does it better

Summary:

Yoona tucked her head into Jinsol’s shoulder, breathing in the scent of the younger girl. Jinsol’s pheromones were hard to describe—sweet, warm, not overpowering, but enough to make her feel grounded.

“Just so you know,” Yoona whispered. “If you’re bad at this, I’m finding someone else.”

Jinsol tensed up, tightening her hold on Yoona’s waist. “I’m not letting you find anyone else.”

“That confident.”

“Not confidence,” Jinsol looked down at her. “I just don't want anyone else touching you.”

Yoona looked up into her eyes. She saw sincerity, heat, and a hint of that pouty look that seemed to say I'm already doing my best and you're still teasing me.

Her heart did a slow somersault. Suddenly, she really wanted to kiss Jinsol.

So she did.

Work Text:

It was 8:18 PM and Yoona was still glued to her computer, wrestling with that fucking proposal. The lines of text danced before her eyes like a cruel joke. She was the last soul left on the entire floor, bathed in the sickly white glow of fluorescent lights that made the silence feel heavy and suffocating.

She yanked off her glasses, tossed them onto the desk, and massaged the bridge of her nose. A prickling sensation began to crawl up the back of her neck—a phantom itch as if someone were ghosting their fingertips over her skin. It was distracting as hell. She reached back, her fingers brushing against the peeling edge of her suppressant patch.

It had been nearly 20 hours. She should’ve changed it out ages ago. But the thought of trekking to the breakroom and digging through her locker for a fresh one just felt like too much effort. She only had a few lines left. She could push through a little longer.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed from outside the door, crisp and clear in the deserted hallway.

Yoona froze, her fingers locking up over the keyboard. At this hour, it was either security or a death-wish intern. She sat up straight, eyes fixed on the door, ready to bark at whoever dared to disturb her.

But when the door swung open, the words died in her throat.

A messy head of hair poked inside and Yoona knew exactly who it was.

“Bae Jinsol, did the door catch your head or something? Why the hell are you sneaking into here instead of your home?”

Jinsol slipped inside, carrying two cups of bubble tea with a look that was punchable and innocent. “I forgot something at my desk. I was passing by downstairs and saw your light on, so—”

“You live in Gangdong and company’s in Sangam. You drove across half of Seoul just to pass by?” Yoona raised her eyebrow, her voice dripping with sarcasm, though she couldn't quite kill the smile tugging at her lips.

This girl always had some excuse to show up in front of her and Yoona always saw right through it.

Jinsol didn't even try to argue. She marched over and set a cup down in front of Yoona. “Strawberry milk foam, light ice, 30% sugar with white pearls.”

Yoona looked at the milk tea, then shot a glance at her laptop. “I'm not drinking it.”

“You drank it last time.”

“That was last time. I don't want to drink it now.”

“Just take it. Whether you want to drink it or throw it away, it's up to you,” Jinsol pulled the chair next to her and sat down, propping her chin on her hand as she looked at Yoona.

Yoona stared back. Jinsol looked like a golden retriever waiting for a head pat, except this puppy was nearly a head taller than her. That tilted-head look was stupid and so annoying. But seeing that goofy expression did ease the frustration inside her, just a little.

“Are you sick or something?” Yoona looked back at her screen. “Get your stuff and get out. I have a lot of work to do.”

“I'll stay here with you.”

“I don't need you to.”

“It's late and you're alone. What if something happens?”

Yoona's fingers stopped on the keyboard. She looked up at Jinsol with a teasing smile on her lips. “What could happen? Someone coming to kidnap me? Can you actually fight anyone off?”

Jinsol actually took a moment to think about it, her brow furrowing. “I’m fast. I could run and call the cops for you.”

Yoona let out a laugh at this girl's earnestness. She tried to swallow the smile, feeling a bit embarrassed. “Alright. Just stop bothering me and go home.”

“No,” Jinsol dragged her chair even closer to the desk and slumped down, resting her face on her arms. “I'm not leaving until you do.”

Yoona gave up arguing with this stubborn girl and returned to her proposal. The office fell silent again, filled only with the clatter of the keyboard. Jinsol just stayed there, sometimes looking at the screen, sometimes at the side of Yoona's face, then occasionally burying her face back in her arm.

Catching Jinsol's movements out of the corner of her eye, Yoona thought to herself that Jinsol really was like a puppy.

After a while, a scorching heat coiled deep in her gut. That itch on her neck had turned into a burning sting, radiating down her spine and settling into a heavy ache in her lower abdomen. Yoona gritted her teeth, forcing out the last two lines of the proposal. Sweat beaded on her forehead and her breathing turned ragged.

Fuck.

Her heat was hitting early, and the worst was that today was the day she forgot her suppressants. She couldn't stop herself from pressing a hand against the failing patch on her neck.

Noticing Yoona's unusual behavior, Jinsol's head, which had been resting on her arm, immediately shot up. “What's wrong?”

“Nothing.”

“Is your neck hurting?”

“I said it's nothing.”

“That patch needs to be changed, doesn't it?”

Yoona went rigid. Maybe Jinsol wasn't so dense after all. “How do you know?”

“Your pheromones are getting stronger,” Jinsol said awkwardly.

It was then that Yoona remembered Jinsol was an Alpha, so she'd be sensitive to her pheromones. So now they're in the office, her patch was about to wear off, and she's with an Alpha.

But Yoona wasn't the type to freak out. She leaned back in her chair, crossed her arms, and let a provocative edge creep into her voice. “What about you? You having a reaction?”

Jinsol scratched at her reddening ear. “I... I'm not the type—”

“What type?” Yoona drawled, dragging out the words. “Not the type of Alpha who loses control? So tell me how are you feeling right now?”

Jinsol bit her lip. She couldn't lie. Any Alpha smelling an Omega in heat would feel something, especially since she was already crazy about Yoona.

“Well, it’s… a little hot.”

“That's it?”

“And...” Jinsol looked away. “You smell really good.”

Yoona tilted her head. “Like what?”

Jinsol tried to find the words, her nose twitching as if she were actually scenting the air. “Like... sweet strawberries. It's strange, it smells good but I don't know how to explain it.”

Yoona laughed so hard her shoulders shook. “Bae Jinsol, are you a dog?”

Flustered by her laughter, Jinsol's face turned bright red, but she didn't know how to argue back. She just pressed her lips together and glared at her.

Once Yoona finished laughing, she turned back to her computer, but the waves inside her were becoming violent. The text on the screen became blurry. She could feel her underwear getting soaked. She couldn't hold on any longer.

The suppressant patch on her neck was useless now. Her pheromones filled the entire room and it's thick enough to choke on.

“Get out,” Yoona's voice trembled. “Bae Jinsol, get out of here now.”

She should have been firmer about kicking Jinsol out earlier. But now, Jinsol would stubbornly refuse to leave, not because she was being drawn in by Yoona's pheromones, but because she wouldn't feel right leaving her alone like this.

Yoona pushed herself up from the desk, but her legs were so weak she could barely stand. Gripping the edge of the desk, she backed away, her voice sharp when she saw Jinsol still standing there. “I told you to get out. Are you deaf?”

“You can't stand properly.” Jinsol stood up and took a step closer.

“Don't come near me.”

“You're falling over.” Jinsol stopped immediately.

Yoona hissed through her teeth. Her scent was everywhere, her body no longer obeying her—her legs trembled and the hollow ache deep in her belly made her crave something, anything, to fill the emptiness.

Jinsol stood a few feet away, aching to hold her but terrified of making things worse.

“Where are your suppressors? Do you have any here?”

“I didn't bring any.”

Jinsol was silent for two seconds, then she spoke. “Then... do you want me to help you?”

Her face was red and her ears practically bleeding, but she didn't avoid Yoona's gaze. She stared straight at Yoona with eyes that were almost painfully honest.

A slow smile spread across Yoona's face. “Bae Jinsol,” she leaned against the desk, she was so weak she was about to slide down, but her tone was still full of teasing. “Do you even know how to help?”

“I don't know.” Jinsol shook her head honestly.

“And you still offer to help?”

“I can learn.”

Yoona let out a genuine laugh. She sighed and reached a hand out toward the girl. “Come here.”

Given permission, Jinsol stepped forward and took her hand. Yoona was burning up, her palm damp with sweat. Jinsol held it tight, her other arm wrapping around Yoona's waist to pull her into her embrace.

So she did.

///

That first kiss wasn't exactly calculated. Yoona just thought Jinsol’s expression was begging to be messed with. It was obvious the girl was about to explode but she was still playing the part of the dutiful assistant. Yoona wanted to know what those lips tasted like. She wanted to see if Jinsol could keep up that stoic act once they actually locked mouths.

Jinsol’s lips were incredibly soft, and they tasted like the milk tea she'd just been drinking, with a hint of sweetness. Yoona nipped at her lower lip, gave it a tiny suck and immediately felt the other girl go stiff.

She pulled back to look at Jinsol. Jinsol's face was bright red, her eyes wide, and her breath seemingly caught in her throat.

“Forgot how to breathe?”

“I forgot.”

Yoona let out a short laugh. “How do you forget that? Is this your first time kissing someone?”

Jinsol’s embarrassed expression said it all. The more Yoona looked at her, the more adorable she found her. This idiot followed her around every day, but she didn't even know how to kiss.

She reached out to cup Jinsol’s face, stroking a cheekbone as her voice softened. “Let me teach you.”

This time she kissed Jinsol very slowly. Her tongue traced the seam of Jinsol’s mouth, and Jinsol opened up to let her in. When Yoona's tongue probed inside, she felt Jinsol tremble slightly, but the girl quickly learned to respond, bit by bit touching the tip of her tongue.

Yoona slid her hand behind Jinsol’s neck. Jinsol was getting breathless from the intensity, but she couldn't bring herself to pull away, only letting out soft little hums from her nose.

By the time Yoona finally let her go, Jinsol looked like a bullied puppy.

Yoona licked her own lips, satisfied. “Not bad. You're a quick learner.”

“Do you want more?”

“More what?”

“Do you still want to kiss more?”

Yoona raised her eyebrow. “You still want to kiss?”

“Yes,” Jinsol answered quickly. “But not just kissing.”

Yoona said nothing, waiting for her to continue.

“I want to help you,” Jinsol said, her voice a little shaky but very serious. “I mean, I want to make you feel good. Your scent is so thick right now, you must be in pain. I want to make it better.”

“Do you even know how to make me feel better?” Yoona tilted her head.

“Use pheromones? And... that?”

“Which that?”

“You know... that.”

Yoona found Jinsol’s shyness amusing. She couldn't believe a twenty-six-year-old Alpha could be this innocent. “Bae Jinsol, you're an Alpha and you really don't know anything?”

“I paid attention in class,” Jinsol said, a little sulkily. “But the books only taught theory, they didn't teach how to actually do it.”

Yoona threw her head back and laughed. This entertainment wasn't enough to ease her heat, though. She leaned back against Jinsol, borrowing some of the refreshing scent from her.

Whatever. Yoona trusted her.

“Alright, I'll teach you.”

Jinsol's eyes lit up. “Really?”

“But you have to listen to me,” Yoona poked her chest. “Do exactly as I say, no freelancing, got it?”

“Got it.”

“No biting my scent gland.”

“I won't.”

“No knotting.”

Jinsol's ears turned red again. She nodded vigorously.

“One more thing...” Yoona paused, pressing a finger into Jinsol’s chest again. “If you’re no good at this, don't ever expect to touch me again.”

Jinsol immediately stood up straight, puffing out her chest, looking extremely serious like she was reporting to a commander. “I'll do my very best.”

Yoona felt like laughing again just looking at her. Jinsol always knew how to bring her joy. She hooked her arms around Jinsol's neck and let her whole body hang on her.

“Carry me to the sofa first.”

Yoona's office had a small lounge area with a three-seater sofa she used for naps and guests. Jinsol gently lay her down on the sofa then knelt beside her, watching her.

Yoona lay there, hair spread out, two buttons of her shirt undone sometime without her noticing, revealing her collarbones and skin on her chest. She looked at Jinsol kneeling there and suddenly found the scene a bit funny.

“What are you kneeling for? Come here.”

Jinsol moved a little closer.

“Closer.”

Jinsol moved until her knees hit the edge of the sofa. Yoona grabbed her collar and pulled her down.

“Kiss me.”

Jinsol pressed her lips to Yoona’s. She was a bit more skilled this time, taking the lead with her tongue and sucking on Yoona’s lips and knowing when to pull back for air. Yoona felt dizzy from the kiss, her hand sliding from the collar down to Jinsol’s back.

Jinsol's hands didn't know where to go, hovering in mid-air, until Yoona finally grabbed them and pressed them onto her own waist.

“Touch me.”

Jinsol carefully stroked her side through her clothes. Her fingers moved slowly, too slowly for Yoona. The emptiness was driving her crazy. She felt like she was burning from the inside out. Every inch of her skin craving for touch. She unbuttoned her own shirt and tossed the annoying fabric aside.

Jinsol’s breath hitched as Yoona’s body was suddenly revealed.

“Never seen one before?” Yoona lay on the sofa looking at her.

“I have,” Jinsol swallowed hard. “Just never this close.”

Yoona laughed, though the sound died quickly in the heat of the moment. She took Jinsol’s hand and placed it on the clasp of her bra. “Take it off.”

Jinsol was clumsy, fumbling for a while before she finally got it open. The moment the bra loosened, Yoona’s breasts spilled out, her fair skin tinged pink from the heat, and her nipples already hard.

Jinsol didn't know where to look.

Yoona pulled her hand again, pressing it onto her breast. “Squeeze.”

Jinsol’s brain went numb the moment her palm hit that softness. So soft. Much softer than she’d imagined. When she gave a small squeeze, it felt like it belonged right in her hand. She couldn't help but squeeze again. Seeing Yoona didn't protest, she got bolder, kneading the flesh and rubbing her palm over the nipple.

Every time her thumb brushed the tip, Yoona’s breathing got heavier. Jinsol felt like she’d found a new toy, glancing at Yoona’s face to gauge her reaction. She felt a surge of power knowing she could make this strong woman melt under her hands.

“Yah,” Yoona inhaled sharply. “Are you doing that on purpose?”

“No,” Jinsol looked up, eyes wide with innocence. “I just wanted to see how you’d react.”

Yoona was frustrated enough to laugh. The stimulation made her even wetter down there. Even with her legs pressed together, the ache was becoming unbearable. She grabbed Jinsol’s hand and pulled it down, past her stomach, then the waistband of her trousers, stopping at the damp center.

“Take them off,” Her voice was a little hoarse.

Jinsol did as she was told, unbuttoning, unzipping and stripping away both the trousers and the lace underneath.

The skin there was even paler than the rest. Yoona's little slit was weeping, the opening pulsing like a hungry mouth, clear slick running down toward her ass.

Jinsol stared at it, dumbfounded.

Yoona couldn't stand being stared at like that. She lifted her foot and nudged Jinsol's shoulder with her toe. “Stop staring. Is this your first time seeing this too?”

“Never seen one,” Jinsol answered honestly.

She tentatively touched the wetness. It was incredibly hot, slick and soft, just one touch caused more fluid to leak out.

Jinsol looked up at Yoona. “Are you uncomfortable?”

Yoona bit her lip and said nothing.

Jinsol’s finger traced the slit downward, past the opening and reached deeper. Her fingertip brushed the clit, and Yoona’s hips bucked instantly. Jinsol caught on, shifting her finger up to find the drenched entrance. The walls there were twitching violently. She took a deep breath and slowly pushed a finger inside.

Just one knuckle in and she felt the inside sucking tightly onto her. The tightness made her scalp tingle, the soft flesh like a living thing clinging to her finger.

Yoona moaned softly, her brows furrowing.

Jinsol immediately stopped. “Does it hurt?”

“No,” Yoona panted. “It's... a little tight. Keep going.”

Jinsol pushed her finger in a little more, this time going in about halfway. Yoona's breathing grew heavier. Something in that sound gave Jinsol more confidence. She slowly pulled out and then pushed back in, staring in fascination at her finger moving in and out of Yoona's body, watching the fluids being pulled out, coating her hand.

“Another one,” Yoona’s voice drifted down.

As they entered, Yoona’s legs trembled. Jinsol tried spreading them slightly and heard Yoona hiss. She immediately slowed her movements, thrusting shallowly to let the inner flesh adjust to her. Once Yoona's breathing calmed down a little, she gradually picked up the speed. She had been rock hard for a while now, but she remembered the rules so she could only focus on pleasuring the woman in her arms.

Yoona's legs would clench shut then open again. The internal contractions grew stronger and stronger. Jinsol quickened the pace of her hand, while her other hand sought out that small raised bump above – the one that had made Yoona's hips jerk with just a light touch earlier. She rubbed circles on it, timing it perfectly with her fingers thrusting deep.

Yoona’s hips lifted off the sofa. The walls gripped Jinsol's fingers as if trying to crush them. Then a gush of heat surged from deep inside, soaking her hand.

It took a long time for Yoona to finally go limp, slumped on the sofa and gasping for air. Her eyes were squeezed shut, her chest heaving.

Jinsol looked at the fluid dripping from the fingers she’d just withdrawn. She brought them to her nose and took a sniff.

Yoona saw that and felt a flash of embarrassed anger. “Are you a pervert?”

“No, I just want to remember your scent,” Jinsol answered very seriously.

The straightforwardness of that statement made Yoona's face burn, the scolding words dying in her throat. She looked down at Jinsol's pants. “Aren't you uncomfortable?”

Jinsol glanced down and honestly nodded. “Very.”

“Then why didn't you say anything?”

“You told me to listen to you. You didn't tell me to do anything else so I shouldn't.”

Yoona looked at her, suddenly at a loss for words.

She sat up and undid Jinsol's pants. The moment her fingers touched the bulge, she knew Jinsol was hard as iron—she could feel it twitching.

Jinsol tried to push Yoona's hand away, but one glare from Yoona made her shut her mouth and let her hands drop.

Yoona pulled down Jinsol's pants, freeing the already unbearably hard cock.

“You usually just hold this thing back while talking to me?” She looked at the upright shaft with amusement.

Yoona wrapped her hand around it and slowly stroked up and down. Jinsol inhaled sharply, gripping the back of the sofa tightly. Then Yoona lowered her head, her tongue lightly licking the tip.

“Yoona... please don't—” Jinsol’s legs went weak. She had to lean on the sofa to stay upright.

“Don't what?” Yoona looked up, lips still pressed against it. “Don't lick?”

The hot sensation of Yoona’s mouth made Jinsol feel like she was about to explode. She looked down at Yoona—at those lips filled by her, those eyes looking up at her, wicked and seductive. Saliva trailed down the corner of Yoona’s mouth, dripping onto her chest.

“Don't... don't suck...” Jinsol's voice broke. “I'm… I’m...”

Yoona ignored her and sucked even harder, her other hand fondling her balls. Jinsol's hips jerked a few times, then she couldn't hold back anymore, groaning as she cum right into Yoona’s mouth.

“Not bad. Doesn't taste too awful,” A bit of white cream clung to the corner of Yoona’s lip.

Jinsol slumped weakly beside the sofa, panting as she looked at her.

Yoona wiped her mouth and lay back down on the sofa, crooking a finger at her. “Rested enough? If you have, then get in here.”

Jinsol's body reacted faster than her brain. By the time she realized it, she was kneeling in front of the sofa, her cock pressing against the space between Yoona's legs.

Yoona shot her a warning look. “Don't come that fast this time.”

Jinsol could only bury her face in the crook of Yoona's neck with a whine. Then she thrust her hips, the head of her cock pressing into the slick opening and slowly pushing through.

This was much thicker than fingers and much longer. As she pushed in, the feeling of being stretched was ten times more intense. The cock was slowly expanding Yoona, grinding over every sensitive ridge as it went deeper. She gripped Jinsol’s back, teeth gritted as she waited for the initial tightness to pass.

Jinsol wasn't having it easy either. The inside was squeezing her like crazy. The folds seemed to be inviting her deeper. She took a breath, trying to stay still to let Yoona adjust.

It was a long while before Yoona spoke. “Fuck me.”

Jinsol only pulled out halfway before pushing back in, until Yoona snapped, “For fuck's sake, did you even eat dinner?”, which finally made her dare to use full strokes. Each thrust hit the deepest spot, pounding so hard that Yoona’s legs locked around her waist, trembling.

The sound of their bodies colliding and the wet slapping filled the office. It sounded incredibly filthy, even Yoona felt a flush of shame, but the pleasure drowned it out. She moaned uncontrollably, her breasts bouncing with the rhythm.

Jinsol couldn't help herself. She leaned down to take one nipple into her mouth, sucking hard.

Yoona’s hips bucked, a cry escaping her. “Don't suck.”

Jinsol ignored her, sucking harder while thrusting deeper. Yoona felt like she was losing her mind. She cursed. “Bae Jinsol, you fucking...” but her legs only tightened further around her.

Every thrust hit the mark perfectly, and a burst of hot fluid sprayed over Jinsol’s cock. Jinsol let out a low growl, shoved herself as deep as she could and let go. Cum hit her cervix in waves and far more than she expected.

The orgasm that had just started to settle was pushed to a new peak. Yoona clung to Jinsol, shivering once more.

For a long time, neither of them moved. Jinsol lay draped over Yoona, face buried in her neck, her breath fanning over Yoona’s scent gland.

Yoona reached up to ruffle her hair. “Get up. You're crushing me.”

Jinsol didn't budge.

“Bae Jinsol.”

Jinsol’s voice came out muffled from her neck. “Please let me hold you a bit longer. Just a little bit.”

///

When Jinsol finally pulled herself off her, Yoona felt a rush of cold air seep into the space that had just been filled. She was exhausted, every muscle fibre as if it had just been through a long race. She glanced down at the sofa—a huge patch was soaked through with a messy cocktail of sweat, slick, and cum. And between her legs, she could feel the warm fluid trickling out in waves.

“Go get some tissues.” She kicked Jinsol lightly.

Jinsol quickly ran to get tissues. On the way back, she even took the time to pick up Yoona’s clothes scattered across the floor.

Yoona wiped the mess from her crotch. Her muscles still twitching slightly from the aftershocks of her orgasm. She looked up at Jinsol, who was standing right there, eyes glued to her every move.

“Were you planning on knotting me back there?”

Jinsol blinked. “No, I wasn't.”

“Really?”

“I’m serious. Didn't you tell me not to? I remembered.”

Yoona stared at her for a few seconds, making sure she wasn't lying then looked away. “Good thing you listened.”

Jinsol knelt beside her. “Your heat... how many days are left?”

“Why do you ask?”

Jinsol scratched her head, her face slightly flushed. “Well... if it's still going on, can I keep helping you?”

“You still want to?”

“I do,” Jinsol nodded. “Only if you say it's okay. If you don't want to, I won't touch you.”

Yoona didn't say anything. She just leaned back against the sofa and watched Jinsol. The office lights were still glaringly bright, highlighting the faint blush on Jinsol’s face and the way her eyes shone with a mix of innocence and intensity. Yoona suddenly remembered Jinsol saying, “I don’t want anyone else touching you.”

She pulled Jinsol closer. Jinsol took the hint and sprawled across her lap, looking up at her.

“Bae Jinsol,” she called.

“Yes?”

“Do you like me?”

Jinsol didn't even flinch. “I do.”

“For how long?”

“Since the first time I met you.”

“The first time you met me? What were you doing then?”

“The interview. You were sitting right in the middle in that black suit with your hair up. You looked so mean,” Jinsol answered honestly.

“And you still liked me?”

Jinsol grinned, her eyes crinkling at the corners. “Yeah. You look especially beautiful when you're chewing someone out.”

Yoona let out a laugh and gave her cheek a pinch. “Are you some kind of masochist?” Then she leaned down and kissed Jinsol on the forehead.

Jinsol froze, her hand flying up to touch the spot where her skin still tingled. She broke into a huge smile. “You kissed me.”

“Yeah.”

“Why?”

“I felt like it. Does there have to be a reason?”

Jinsol buried her face in Yoona’s lap, mumbling. “Then you should kiss me like that more often.”

Yoona kept stroking Jinsol's hair. It was messy and soft like a little animal. The more she touched it, the more she liked it.

After a while, Jinsol spoke up again. “What about you?”

“What?”

“Do you like me?”

“You think I'd let you fuck me if I didn't?”

“Really?”

“Just kidding.”

“But you just said you did!” Jinsol pouted.

“I was being rhetorical.”

“But you meant it.”

Yoona was too tired to argue. She just patted Jinsol’s face. “Get up. Pack your stuff so we can go home.”

Jinsol got up, but before fully standing, she quickly kissed Yoona on the cheek.

Yoona glared at her. “What was that for?”

“Didn't you say to kiss if you feel like it?” Jinsol smiled brightly. “So from now on, I'm going to kiss you a lot too.”

Kisses landed on her cheek, her nose, then her chin. Yoona tried to push her away, but her efforts were half-hearted at best, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips

///

It was nearly ten by the time they finished cleaning up the office.

Yoona changed into the new shirt Jinsol had dug out from her wardrobe. She always kept a few changes of clothes ready for emergencies, though she had never imagined this one.

Jinsol helped her with the buttons, but she was so clumsy that it took her forever to do up just two of them.

“Are your hands broken or what?” Yoona couldn't resist teasing. There was no real malice behind it. She just liked to rib Jinsol like this, and she knew Jinsol was in on the joke.

“That’s not it,” Jinsol murmured, pouting—the exact reaction that made Yoona want to tease her even more. “I just can't focus when I'm looking at you.”

Jinsol smoothed out Yoona’s flipped-over collar, double-checking that the shirt sat perfectly straight before finishing the rest of the buttons. Yoona didn't bother helping. She just stood there lazily and let Jinsol work.

As they stepped out of the office, Jinsol suddenly took her hand. Yoona looked down at their intertwined fingers, then back up at Jinsol. Jinsol's hand was very warm, and she held on tight, as if afraid Yoona might slip away. It reminded Yoona of years ago, back when she used to ache for someone to hold her like this. But since hope usually just leads to a letdown, she’d stopped waiting for it. Yet now, this girl was holding her hand so firmly that it made her want to believe that maybe this time, there wouldn't be any disappointment.

“What are you doing?” Yoona asked.

“Holding your hand,” Jinsol shrugged, swinging their joined hands lightly. “Don't want you tripping.”

Yoona almost bit back with a “Do I look like a toddler to you?” but the words died on her lips. Jinsol was holding her with such intent like she was protecting the most precious treasure in the world.

Maybe being looked after like this wasn't so bad.

The elevator was empty. Jinsol stared at their reflection in the doors, looking like she was about to say something before finally stumbling through a question. “So... does this mean we're together now?”

Yoona shot her a look. “What do you think?”

“I think we are,” Jinsol said. “but I'm scared you'll say we aren't.”

“Bae Jinsol.”

“Yes?”

“I'm not an easy person to be with. I'm high-maintenance, I have a temper and I like to push people around.”

“I know.”

“And you don't mind that?”

“If I minded, would I still come running to bring you milk tea every single day?” Jinsol’s voice was dead serious. When Yoona stayed silent, she kept going. “The person I like is exactly who you are. I don't care if you're difficult or if you yell at me—as long as it's you, I'm good.”

The elevator dinged as they reached the lobby. Just as the doors slid open, Yoona stood on her tiptoes and pressed a quick kiss to the corner of Jinsol's mouth.

Jinsol froze, her grip on Yoona's hand loosening. Yoona didn't wait, she stepped out into the lobby and tossed a look over her shoulder.

“What are you standing there for? If you don't come, I'm just gonna call a cab.”

“Coming!” Jinsol snapped out of it, grinning happily as she hurried after Yoona and grabbed her hand tightly once more.

///

Jinsol’s car was parked in the company’s underground lot. Yoona had driven her own car to work, but since Jinsol was worried that Yoona’s heat might affect her health and didn't feel safe letting her drive herself, she insisted on driving Yoona home.

The car rolled through the late-night streets of Seoul as streetlights flickered past the windows. Jinsol was a steady driver, only glancing over at the passenger seat now and then. Yoona had her eyes closed, it was hard to tell if she was asleep or not.

When they reached Yoona’s apartment, Jinsol stood in the entryway feeling a bit awkward and out of place.

Yoona swapped her shoes for indoor slippers and glanced back at her. “What are you standing there for? Get in here.”

Only then did Jinsol tiptoe inside.

Yoona's home wasn't big, just enough for one person, and it was kept very clean. A blanket was tossed on the living room sofa, half a glass of water sat on the coffee table, and there were a few magazines. Jinsol stood in the middle of the living room, not sure where to sit.

Yoona grabbed two bottles of water from the fridge and tossed one to her. “Have a seat.”

Jinsol caught the bottle and took a seat on the sofa. Yoona sat down right next to her and twisted her own cap open to take a sip.

For a few seconds, they were both silent.

Jinsol was the first to break the silence. “Are you... hungry? Do you want me to make you something to eat?”

“You can cook?”

“A little. I can manage a bowl of noodles.”

Yoona thought about it for a second. She’d been buried in reports since the afternoon, and after that intense sex they just had, her stomach was growling. “Fine. Go for it.”

While Jinsol headed into the kitchen, Yoona leaned back against the sofa to rest. Sounds drifted out from the kitchen—water running, the clatter of dishes, and the occasional mumble from Jinsol asking herself where the salt was or how the stove worked.

It was a strange sight, but it felt warm. No one had ever made her a late-night meal before. She didn't even bother cooking for herself most of the time.

Ten or fifteen minutes later, Jinsol came out carrying a bowl of noodles.

“All done,” She set the bowl on the table. “Try it.”

Yoona looked down at the bowl—it was nicely presented. The noodles were cooked just right, topped with a fried egg and a sprinkle of chopped green onions.

She picked up her chopsticks and took a bite.

Jinsol knelt beside her, watching nervously. “How is it?”

Yoona chewed and swallowed. “It's good.”

Jinsol's face immediately lit up with a smile. “Then I'll cook for you every day from now on.”

“Every day?”

“Yes,” Jinsol nodded. “If you like it.”

Yoona continued eating her noodles. “I'm not paying you overtime for this.”

Jinsol just chuckled and said she didn't need the money.

///

It was nearly midnight when they finished the noodles.

Yoona headed to the shower first while Jinsol sat in the living room. Hearing the sound of running water from the bathroom, she felt an unexpected flutter of nerves tighten in her chest.

A while later, Yoona stepped out wearing only a bathrobe. Her wet hair clung to her shoulders, and her face still carried a soft flush from the rising steam. The floral scent of her body wash lingered in the air. She caught Jinsol staring blankly and gave her a knowing look. “Aren't you going to wash up?”

Jinsol quickly scrambled to her feet. “I am.”

“The bathroom's over there. There's a clean towel inside.”

Jinsol hurried toward the bathroom, but as she brushed past Yoona, a hand suddenly pulled her back. Yoona leaned in close, pressing a kiss to the corner of her mouth. “Make it quick.”

Jinsol’s face turned red. She nodded and hurriedly rushed into the bathroom.

By the time she finished and came out, Yoona was already tucked into bed. Only the small bedside lamp was on in the room. Jinsol hesitated by the bed, unsure if she should get in.

Seeing Jinsol keep finding excuses to pace around, Yoona finally lost patience. She lifted a corner of the blanket. “Get in here.”

Taking the invitation, Jinsol scrambled onto the bed. She looked just like one of those golden retrievers Yoona saw on YouTube shorts as she tucked herself under the covers.

The bed was quite large, so there was still a gap between them. Seeing Jinsol lying stiff on the far side, Yoona chuckled.

“Why are you lying so far away? Afraid I'm going to eat you up?”

Jinsol bit her lip and shimmyed an inch closer. Yoona sighed, done with the games, and reached out to pull the girl firmly into her arms.

Jinsol’s face pressed right against Yoona’s chest. The scent of the body wash filled her senses, making her head spin. Not knowing what to do with her hands, she fumbled for a moment before finally resting them shyly around Yoona’s waist.

“Nervous?” Yoona looked down at her.

“A little.”

“You weren't nervous earlier when we were doing it?”

“That's different.”

“How is it different?”

“Earlier I was helping you. But now... now I'm holding you.”

Yoona gently stroked her hair and they lay there holding each other. Just as Yoona was dozing off, on the verge of sleep, Jinsol suddenly spoke. “Yoona.”

“Hmm?”

“I'm so happy.”

“About what?”

Jinsol's voice was a little thick, muffled against her chest. “I’ve liked you for so long. I used to think just getting to look at you once a day was enough. I never dreamed I’d ever get to hold you like this,”

Yoona went quiet for a few seconds before she finally said. “Bae Jinsol.”

“Yeah?”

“Do you know you're kind of an idiot?”

“I know.” Jinsol lifted her head to look at her. “And I like you so, so much.”

Her drowsiness was temporarily forgotten. The only thing capturing Yoona's attention now was those eyes. Without overthinking it, she leaned down and kissed Jinsol on the lips. It wasn't urgent or driven by desire like before. This kiss was slow and incredibly gentle.

They kissed for a long time before finally parting. Yoona rested her forehead against Jinsol's, her voice laced with a sweetness that seeped right through. “Me too.”

Jinsol blinked, stunned. “Me too... what?”

“It’s you. Even though I hated to admit it, I think it’s been you for a long time.”

Jinsol’s eyes welled up with tears. She threw her arms around Yoona, burying her face in the crook of her neck. “I’m going to treat you so well.”

Yoona stroked her hair. “I know.”

“I’ll always take care of you.”

“Okay.”

“I won't let anyone bully you.”

“Who could bully me?” Yoona laughed.

Jinsol thought about it and started giggling too. “Right, I guess you're the one who bullies everyone else.”

“Good that you know it.”

Jinsol lifted her head and kissed her on the chin. “Then you can pick on me as much as you want from now on.”

“Are you really a masochist?”

“I'm not,” Jinsol grinned. “It's because you look especially pretty when you're bullying me.”

Yoona found Jinsol both amusing and exasperating. She sighed and pinched her cheek. “Go to sleep.”

“Okay.” Jinsol snuggled deeper into her embrace and obediently closed her eyes.

Yoona looked down at the girl already falling into sleep in her arms. Her eyes softened with adoration as she pulled Jinsol closer, finally letting herself drift off into a peaceful rest.

///

The scent of breakfast nudged Yoona awake. She blinked her eyes open and reached out, but the spot next to her was already empty, though the sheets still held a lingering trace of warmth. She sat up and let her nose lead the way out of the bedroom.

In the kitchen, Jinsol was hunched over the stove in an apron, busy frying eggs. Yoona smiled softly, leaning against the kitchen doorframe to watch her.

Jinsol was bustling around the kitchen for a while before she noticed Yoona looking at her. She smiled, a little shy. “You're up?”

“Mm-hmm,”

“It's almost ready. Just give me another minute.”

Yoona nodded and just stood there watching Jinsol busy herself.

Jinsol scooped the fried eggs onto a plate, toasted two slices of bread, and made two cups of coffee, placing one in front of each of them.

“All done. Come and get it while it's hot.”

Yoona walked over to the table and sat down. The breakfast laid out in front of her was simple, but it looked really appetizing.  Jinsol sat down across from her, resting her chin on her palms as she watched Yoona’s every move.

Yoona picked up her fork, cut a small piece of egg, and put it in her mouth. It was fried just right, the yolk still runny. She then took a sip of coffee. The sweetness was also perfect.

“How is it?” Jinsol looked at her expectantly.

Yoona put down her cup and said, a little haughtily. “Not bad.”

“I could make this for you every day, you know.”

Yoona looked at Jinsol, at that cute, dorky expression, and couldn't stop a smirk from tugging at the corner of her mouth. “Don't you have a job to get to?”

“Of course I do. I’ll just get up early, fix you breakfast then head out. I've got plenty of time.”

Yoona let out a soft laugh and put her head down to finish her meal.

Once they finished, they headed out for work. Jinsol dropped Yoona off at the office first before going to find a parking spot. Just as she reached the entrance, Yoona couldn't help but steal a glance back. Jinsol's car was still parked there. Seeing Yoona look back, Jinsol stuck her head out of the car window and waved at her.

Yoona averted her gaze and quickened her pace into the lobby. That little bit of warmth on her face, she couldn't tell if it was from the sun or from something else.

///

After work, Yoona met up with Jinsol in the parking garage just as they’d planned. She needed to pick up her car, which she’d been forced to leave behind the night before due to that sudden situation.

Instead of heading back to Yoona’s place today, she suggested they go to Jinsol’s.

It wasn't what Yoona expected. The apartment was actually quite clean. A bookshelf packed with novels and manga lined the living room wall, while a few gaming controllers sat on the coffee table. The walls were decorated with a mix of photos.

“Your place is way cleaner than I thought,” Yoona remarked.

“What, did you think I lived in a pigsty?” Jinsol scratched her head.

“Pretty much.”

Jinsol pouted for a second before grabbing a drink from the fridge and handing it to her. “Just make yourself at home. I’m gonna go change real quick.”

Yoona took the drink and sat on the sofa to wait. Jinsol disappeared into the bedroom but left the door cracked open. Yoona could see her inside, rummaging through her dresser for something to wear.

The whole scene felt surprisingly domestic and cute.

Jinsol came out wearing a loose shirt and sweatpants, her hair messier than before, making her look even more like a fluffy puppy.

“Are you hungry?” Jinsol asked.

Yoona leaned against the sofa and thought for a moment. “Kimchi jjigae.”

“Okay,” Jinsol rolled up her sleeves. “Let me check the fridge for some kimchi.”

She walked into the kitchen and Yoona followed, leaning against the kitchen doorframe.

Jinsol peered into the fridge, shifting things around. “Got kimchi, tofu, pork belly... yeah, I can make it.”

She tied on an apron and got to work washing vegetables and slicing meat. Yoona just stood there, taking it all in. Seeing Jinsol busily moving around in there felt warm and cozy. Her skills weren't exactly professional, but she was being careful and taking it seriously. She even had her phone propped up on a stand, following a YouTube tutorial.

“Do you usually cook for yourself?” Yoona asked.

“Sometimes,” Jinsol replied without turning around. “I usually just throw something together or get lazy and order takeout.”

“And now?”

“Now it's different,” Jinsol turned her head and flashed a smile. “I'm cooking for you.”

Yoona looked down and smiled to herself. She couldn't deny that she loved the feeling of someone actually caring enough to cook for her.

When the kimchi jjigae was done, the whole kitchen smelled amazing. Jinsol ladled out two bowls and brought them to the dining table, waiting for Yoona to try it first before she started eating. Yoona picked up her spoon and took a sip. It was hot and the flavor was really good. The kimchi was perfectly sour and spicy, the tofu was soft and silky, and the pork belly was well-soaked in the broth.

“How is it?” Jinsol asked expectantly.

Yoona swallowed and met her eyes. “Are you sure this is your first time making it?”

Jinsol blinked. “Why? Is it not good?”

“No,” Yoona scooped up another spoonful. “It's better than I expected.”

Jinsol's face lit up with a huge smile. “I'll make it for you every single day from now on.”

///

Yoona insisted on doing the dishes, but Jinsol wouldn't let her. She shoved Yoona into the living room and forced her onto the sofa before disappearing back into the kitchen to finish the job. Seeing how stubborn this girl was, Yoona gave up and browsed the books on the shelves.

It was mostly novels, mixed with a few manga volumes and magazines. Yoona pulled one out and flipped through it, and suddenly discovered a photo tucked inside. It was a picture of Jinsol in her graduation gown, standing in front of the school gate, smiling brightly.

“That’s from my graduation,” Jinsol stepped out of the kitchen. She noticed Yoona holding the photo.

Yoona looked at the person in the photo, then back at the one in front of her.

Jinsol sat down beside her. “What?”

Yoona put the photo back in its place. “Nothing. You just looked a lot smarter back then.”

Jinsol pulled a face. “What, I'm not smart now?”

“What do you think?”

Jinsol actually took a second to consider it. “I guess I do act a bit stupid whenever I'm around you.”

Yoona found her words amusing. “So you're aware of that too?”

“I am,” Jinsol nodded. “But I can't help it. Every time I see you, I get easily distracted.”

Yoona stared at her for a moment before reaching out to ruffle her hair. Jinsol froze, then leaned into the touch like a big golden retriever, her eyes fluttering shut in pure bliss.

“Are you a dog or something?” Yoona teased.

“If you say so,” Jinsol grinned.

Yoona withdrew her hand and leaned back against the sofa. After a hesitant moment, Jinsol edged closer and rested her head on Yoona’s shoulder. “Are you tired today?”

“Not really.”

“So will you stay over tonight?”

“You want me to stay?”

“Yes,” Jinsol nodded eagerly. “More than anything.”

Yoona pretended to think about it for a moment and broke into a smile as she saw Jinsol's hopeful eyes. “I'm gonna use your shower.”

Jinsol immediately jumped up. “Let me show you.”

The bathroom was a bit bigger than Yoona had imagined. Next to the bathtub sat a few little rubber ducks.

“What are these?” She pointed at them.

Jinsol looked a little embarrassed. “Just something to play. I think they’re cute.”

“Are you three years old?” Yoona teased, poking her cheek.

“No,” Jinsol defended herself. “They're just for relaxing,”

Yoona didn't say anything else. She just picked one up and squeezed it. The duck let out a sharp squeak.

Standing there in Jinsol's bathrobe, Yoona's hair pinned up and a rubber duck still in her hand, the sight made Jinsol stare blankly. She couldn't believe this was real. It was better than any dream she’d ever had.

“What are you staring at?” Yoona asked.

“You’re beautiful.”

Yoona tossed the duck back toward the tub. “Get out of here so I can actually shower.”

Jinsol stepped out and closed the door. While waiting for Yoona, she hurried to change the bedsheets. She was worried the current ones smelled too much like her and might make Yoona uncomfortable.

When Yoona finally came out, she raised an eyebrow at the fresh sheets, even more so when Jinsol announced she would sleep on the sofa and Yoona could have the bed.

“You're letting me sleep alone in your bed?”

“Yes, so you can be comfortable.”

Yoona stared at her for a long beat, letting out a heavy sigh. “Bae Jinsol, are you actually an idiot?”

Jinsol blinked, confused. She thought she was being thoughtful. “Why?”

Yoona stepped forward, grabbed her by the collar and pulled her towards the bedroom. “You really think this bed can't fit two people?”

///

Even though they had shared a bed once before, Jinsol remained as stiff as a board. She lay there with her limbs pinned strictly to her sides, eyes glued to the ceiling. She was so close to the edge that a single twitch would’ve sent her tumbling onto the floor. She fought to keep her breathing steady, not even daring to glance at Yoona, despite how badly she craved the warmth and scent of the woman beside her.

A soft rustle broke the silence as the mattress dipped, and a warm breath drew closer.

“Why are you always lying so close to the edge?” Yoona's voice sounded next to her ear. “I'm not picking you up if you fall off.”

Jinsol had just shifted a little towards the middle when an arm draped over her waist. Yoona moved closer, her chin resting on Jinsol's shoulder, her steady breath warm against Jinsol's neck.

“Aren't you still in heat...?” Jinsol asked cautiously.

“I think it passed.”

Jinsol didn't know whether to sigh in relief or feel disappointed. She just hummed in response. Unexpectedly, Yoona's hand moved up from her waist.

“But—” Yoona's lips pressed against the back of her ear. “If you want to, that's okay too,”

With just those words and that single breath, Jinsol felt the blood rush straight to her lower belly. Every ounce of self-control she’d been clinging to crumbled into nothing. Her breathing was heavy and she hadn't expected herself to become like this but she couldn't care about that anymore.

Yoona didn't resist, just looked up at her provocatively. “In that much of a hurry?”

Jinsol didn't bother answering. She just dove in to kiss her. Her tongue surged forward, dominantly sweeping through Yoona’s mouth and locking with hers in a needy suck. Yoona was slightly stunned by this but she wasn't about to back down. She tangled her fingers into Jinsol’s hair, pulling her even closer as their saliva slicked their lips and spilled from the corners of their mouths.

Jinsol trailed kisses down Yoona's jawline to her neck, sucking and biting until she left a string of red marks. Yoona arched her head back, her breathing hitching. Jinsol’s teeth scraped against her skin, a sharp sting that only fueled the arousal. Kissing past her neck, past her collarbone and stopped at her chest. Using her teeth, Jinsol caught the collar of Yoona's sleepwear and pulled it down. Her teeth grazed the side of Yoona's neck, barely an inch from her scent gland.

Other Omegas at this moment would feel scared. but not Yoona. In her hazy consciousness, she secretly hoped Jinsol would do something even crazier.

Jinsol’s kisses continued down the valley of Yoona's breasts, stopping right at her left nipple. She looked up at Yoona for a second.

“What are you looking at?” Yoona turned her face away but the hand gripping Jinsol's shoulder pushed her down slightly. “If you want to kiss it, just do it.”

Jinsol smirked and took the nipple into her mouth through the fabric. Her tongue licked and teased, pressing the damp cloth against the peak. She sucked hard while her other hand slid down, forcing its way between Yoona’s tightly pressed thighs.

“Open up,” her voice was hoarse, no longer asking for permission like usual.

Yoona was a little surprised by this sudden change then a satisfied smile played on her lips. She slowly spread her legs, exposing her most private self to Jinsol’s gaze.

Jinsol’s fingers found that wet heat. She pressed a kiss to Yoona’s inner thigh then another higher. Her tongue flicked along the slit, slow, meticulous, like an artist savoring a masterpiece. She tasted the salt of her skin, the slight tang of her juices and the raw heat from deep inside.

“Bae Jinsol...” Yoona’s voice was wrecked, the sound of a woman caught in the whirlwind of pleasure.

Jinsol kept lapping, her tongue delving deep inside, feeling the muscular walls pulsing around its tip. Her nose pressed against Yoona’s clit and every movement of her head created a friction that made Yoona tremble endlessly. She lifted Yoona's hips to go deeper. Her tongue thrust in and her fingers hooked firmly inside. She wanted to make Yoona, to make this omega melt beneath her.

Then it happened. Yoona’s back arched off the bed as a gush of hot fluid drenched Jinsol’s tongue and chin. Yoona trembled through a long orgasm. It took a while before she drifted back to reality.

Jinsol crawled up, lying on her stomach beside her. “Did that feel good?”

Yoona rolled her eyes. “What do you think?”

Jinsol smiled, a smile as bright as the morning sun before leaning over to kiss Yoona's cheek. “That's good then.”

Yoona looked at that silly expression and suddenly reached out to pinch her cheek again.

“What was that for?” Jinsol mumbled through her distorted face.

“Just checking to see if that was really you.”

Jinsol laughed, catching Yoona’s hand to kiss her palm. “It’s really me.”

Maybe it was the afterglow, or maybe it was because Jinsol was being too sweet and too good, or maybe her heat wasn't quite over, but Yoona wasn't ready to stop. She pulled her hand back, flipped over and pinned Jinsol down, straddling her waist with a smile.

“You had your turn. Now it's mine.”

Jinsol’s breath hitched. Despite everything that just happened, she still couldn't believe the woman she adored was sitting on top of her and wanting her.

Yoona reached down to strip Jinsol’s pants off, letting her aching hardness spring free before wrapping her hand around it and stroking.

Under Jinsol’s hungry gaze, Yoona lined herself up and slowly sat down. She gritted her teeth as Jinsol slid into her pussy. When she was finally bottomed out, she closed her eyes, savoring the overwhelming feeling of being filled. It stung a little but the satisfaction far outweighed the pain. Yoona opened her eyes to look down at Jinsol and saw her eyes brimming with love.

Then she moved.

Yoona lifted herself just a little then sank back down. She braced her hands on Jinsol's chest for balance, her hips rising and falling or rotating. Her waist swayed, making her soft breasts move with it. Sweat beaded, dampening her forehead, the tip of her nose and her slightly parted lips.

Watching her ride, Jinsol almost mesmerized. She had never seen Yoona like this. This woman, who was usually cold-faced and sharp-tongued, was now a mess of tangled hair and flushed cheeks, seeking pleasure on top of her. It was so beautiful it almost made Jinsol want to cry.

Yoona looked down at Jinsol and gave a devastating smile. She kissed Jinsol as if wanting to meld into one.

Jinsol caressed Yoona's waist to keep her balance. Her other hand wandered to where they joined, finding the small nub and rubbing it.

“You...” Yoona panted, breaking the kiss. “You little... asshole...”

Yoona hit her peak again quickly. She shook, stumbled then fell forward onto Jinsol’s chest.

The tight clench was more than Jinsol could take. She shoved her hips up one last time, emptying herself deep inside Yoona.

Yoona whimpered, clutching Jinsol’s shoulders like a drowning person grabbing a lifeline. Hot cum filled her up, some of it spilling out and turning the space between them into a mess.

They lay there for a long time. Jinsol gently stroked Yoona’s back, soothing her like a ruffled cat while Yoona buried her face in the crook of Jinsol’s neck, wondering how she had ever lived all those years without this.

“You came so much...”

“I couldn't help it.” Jinsol’s shoulders shook with laughter.

Yoona raised a hand and lightly slapped her shoulder, but it was more like a caress.

Jinsol leaned in and whispered into her ear. “I love you.”

“I know, now sleep,” Yoona smiled and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.

///

Yoona woke up the next morning to sunlight already streaming into the room. She tried to shift a bit but realized Jinsol had her pinned from behind, one leg draped heavy over her body. Jinsol was out cold, her breathing slow and steady, wearing a look on her face that was a little bit stupid.

Yoona stared at Jinsol for a few seconds before reaching out to pinch her nose. Jinsol frowned and started breathing through her mouth, still refusing to wake up. So, Yoona just covered her mouth entirely.

That finally did the trick. Jinsol’s eyes fluttered open, looking at her through a hazy fog.

Yoona let go. “What time is it?”

Jinsol fumbled around for her phone to check the screen. “It’s nine thirty...” Then she bolted upright. “Shit, it’s nine thirty?!”

Yoona leaned against the headboard. “Are we late for work?”

“We’re late, we’re late—” Jinsol scrambled to find her clothes. “I have a morning meeting—”

“It's Saturday, what meeting do you have?” Yoona laughed.

Jinsol froze, picked up her phone to check again then sighed in relief and flopped back onto the bed. “You scared me.”

Yoona couldn't help but laugh.

Jinsol turned sideways, burying her face in Yoona's waist. “You did that on purpose.”

“Yeah,” Yoona admitted. “I did it on purpose.”

Jinsol looked up at her, eyes sparkling. “You’re getting meaner by the day, you know that?”

“You don't like it?”

“I love it,” Jinsol grinned. “I fucking love it,” She crawled up the bed, leaning in to press a firm kiss against Yoona’s lips. “Morning.”

Yoona didn't pull away. She just let Jinsol take what she wanted. “Morning.”

///

They dawdled until nearly eleven before finally getting out of bed. Jinsol eventually got up to make breakfast, or more accurately, an early lunch, while Yoona sat at the table scrolling through some documents on her phone.

The phone in her hand suddenly vibrated.

It was a message from Kim Jiwoo: I heard you and Bae Jinsol have been getting pretty close lately?

Yoona glanced at Jinsol's back in the kitchen and replied: Who told you that?

Jiwoo messaged back instantly: Kyujin said she saw you two going to work together.

Yoona didn't answer right away.

A moment later, another text popped up: So it’s true? You guys are dating?

Yoona stared at the message, still weighing her response when Jinsol walked over with the food. “Ready. Dig in.”

Yoona set the phone down and picked up her fork.

Jinsol sat across from her, resting her chin on her hand. “Who’s texting you?”

“Kim Jiwoo,” Yoona said. “She’s asking if we’re together.”

“What did you say?” Jinsol suddenly tensed up.

Yoona picked up her phone and typed a reply right in front of Jinsol: Yeah, we’re together.

She turned the screen around so Jinsol could see. “Satisfied?”

Jinsol looked at that message, her eyes gradually brightening then the corners of her mouth slowly stretched, until finally her whole face broke into a goofy grin. “You—you—”

“I what?”

Jinsol came around the table and threw her arms around her. “I'm so happy.”

Yoona was squeezed so tight she could barely breathe. She patted Jinsol’s back. “Okay, okay, let go, you’re literally choking me.”

Jinsol loosened her grip slightly but stayed wrapped around her, nuzzling her face into the crook of Yoona’s neck. “I love you.”

Yoona wrapped her arms around Jinsol’s back, gently stroking her. “I love you too.”

Jinsol chuckled against her skin, her shoulders shaking with joy.

Yoona looked out the window, a small smile tugging at her lips.

Maybe Jinsol was a bit silly.

But she was so easy to love, and being loved back by her was so incredible.
