Jacob whistled, his eyes ranking down his body, ogling without shame. “Happy Valentine’s Day to me alright,” he gushed. The familiarity of it tickled down his body, the friendly flirting, the banter, the already charted territory, like the droplets of water that Jacob’s eyes were fixated on.

Or.

Jam spending Valentine's Day together

Notes:

That picture taken by a fan on valentines day of jam jamming their reiderson that ruined my Sunday morning when said fan posted about it.

I birthed this, no epidural needed, thanks to that picture.

Needless to say that rpf is legal here, if it isn't your cup of tea, please don't search the tags and then get mad at me. Close the ao3 tab, thank you.

Enjoy!

Work Text:

It had been raining when they landed at Hartsfield-Jackson airport. It had been nearly as busy as La Guardia, though Georgia didn’t quite have its charm.

The thirty long clip for the IGN fanfest and also Lestat’s new rerecording had been easy to shoot. Fun, sweaty, revealing and with glitter still shining bright on Jacob’s hairline, how that glitter had gotten there had not been as easy to explain as Jacob had assured him. He had gotten on the first flight from London on a short notice, it messed up my surprise, he said.

“You know,” Jacob mumbled as he sipped his hot coffee, the air was chilly and it seemed as though the sky was about to fall down on them. “This saved me money.”

Sam looked up at the clouds hovering above them. “I knew you were only doing it for the

money,” he smiled into his cup, letting it warm his lips.

Jacob slapped the right of his arm, snorting. They had settled on a slow walk, the coffee shop about 15 minutes from their hotel rooms. “Fuck, you’re not gonna tell Rolin, right?”

Sam watched his side profile, he was growing his beard again and he looked really handsome. The mole on the side of his nose begging for a boop of his fingers. “I’ll trash talk  about you with him later today. Where’s the love for the art, mate?”

Jacob laughed, really loud, head thrown back and his Adam’s apple bobbing in plain sight. Sam couldn't quite take his eyes off him.

“Fine, I’ll bite,” Sam fondly rolled his eyes. “What saved you money?”

“Wow, where’s the love for me, lad?” Jacob gave him a teasing smile, starting to walk backwards directly in front of him. “Rolling your eyes and everything, hell, handsome, Australian and a pain in the ass you are, ya know?”

Sam rolled his eyes again, a deep blush creeping up his neck, making his ears bright red and his cheeks flush in the shade Jacob deemed as pretty Sam pink.

“You’re gonna hit a pole or worse, someone, and then you’ll be all over the internet as the random weird brit who terrorized the good American people on a fine afternoon day.”

Jacob snorted, flipping him off and finally walking to his side again. Sam smiled to himself, relieved somehow. Then there was silence for a while, he knew to let it fill the air between them. “I was gonna come anyway,” Jacob said, quietly.

Ah, there it was.

“You were?” Sam mumbled, Jacob nodded. “Why?”

A beat of silence passed again.

“You know why.”

Sam's reflex was to sip his coffee, to let it burn his tongue and the back of his throat. The words carried so much meaning now. It wasn’t innocent, this was not what co-workers do, let alone best friends.

Sam coughed, Jacob by his side slapping his back and then soothing it. A heavy and warm palm ran down his back and laid for a brief second on the lower part of it. Sam took a big gulp of air, sighed and in a second a chill creeped up his spine. The hand was gone and it brushed his, suddenly.

“Careful there, too much?” Jacob whispered, Sam gazed at him. Lips pouted and a cute frown on his face.

Sam cleared his throat, unsure to hover over the unnamed line they had crossed several times for nearly three years now. Crossed so many times, it had started to form a shape, as though they both had a sharpie dangling from their ankles that inked the very floor they walked on. Wanky and irregular shape, but a shape nonetheless.

“No, I just didn’t think it was that hot,” Sam coughed again.

Jacob smiled, sweetly, politely and teasing. “It’s literally steaming hot, Sammy.”

Sam felt his cheeks scalding hot. He was running a fever, he was sure.

“Yeah, well,” he let the words hang between them, like they always have because it was easy and at the same time the most difficult relationship he’d ever had. Relationship. Sam winced, visibly, they weren’t a couple. Even if they acted like one far too many times.

Jacob broke the air, blowing into his cup and taking another sip of coffee. “I was gonna fly to New York because that’s where you always are, well,” he brushed his pinky on his hand again and Sam nearly collapsed to his knees. “And I had already landed when Rolin texted he needed me ASAP in Georgia, to do some ADR about dream Louis and something to do about one of Lestat’s music videos.”

Sam nodded, his eyes dancing from the sidewalk they were on to Jacob’s mouth. Jacob had told him he had been in New York for promo for a beautiful short film of his. Sam had felt a sting of pain knowing he hadn't even called or texted–which they had been doing anyway–to tell him that he had been in the city for however long. It had felt like jealousy somehow, to not even be let know of his whereabouts when they had been talking to each other every single day since filming in Toronto had ended.

Sam kept quiet, relieved to know that hadn’t been the scenario. He hummed, letting him continue.

“So, I had to come up with something on the spot as to why I was already in the states and in New York of all places because, you know, they have to book the plane tickets and stuff like that.” Jacob went on, the corners of his mouth lifting slowly. “Truth be told, I was gonna invite myself to your place for a whole week til the IGN event next Wednesday.”

Sam blinked twice. He swallowed down the tight fist on his throat, the tingles running down to his fingers, itching to touch brown skin. “You were?” He only managed to croak out of his mouth.

Jacob let out a breathy laugh, daring to look at him now. “Would have I overstepped?”

“What? No, no, no,” Sam stumbled with his words. The hotel was near and he felt warmer, the sting had disappeared. “You definitely wouldn’t have, trust me, I would’ve slept on the floor even, I wouldn’t have cared, not with you there.” He rushed the words out of his mouth, feeling too much all of a sudden. Sam cursed at himself.

Jacob giggled beautifully, soft, like a whisper. “Gosh, not on the floor, I’ve seen your bed,” You’ve slept on my bed, Sam thought wildly. “It’s big enough for two people.” Jacob licked his lips and Sam obsessively licked his mouth scar. A tic he’d never fully grown out of.

Sam knew they were both actively ignoring the fact that his apartment had a guest room with its own bathroom. A guest room Jacob had never slept on.

“You think it’s big enough?” Sam said innocently, maybe flirting with the obvious fact.

“Oh, I think it’s huge,” Jacob’s lips were fighting a smile and Sam tilted his head mirroring his smile. “And heavy.” He whispered, looking him dead in the eyes. Then it must’ve clicked so visibly on his face that Jacob started laughing uncontrollably.

Sam wanted the earth to swallow him, he lightly punched Jacob’s arm instead, shaking his head as he laughed. “That mouth of yours, man.”

Jacob gave him another belly laugh. “Ouch, I think you love this mouth of mine,” he cooed right into his ear.

Sam felt another shiver in his lower back. He didn’t want to burst the bubble they were in, but he almost felt he had to. Jacob settled back by his side, walking, bubbly and happy.

“Kids in school, now?” That did the trick, the laugh died down. Jacob gave him a quiet hum. Sam decided to keep pushing, he needed to for his own sanity. “And your wife? Does she know you’re he–”

“Yes, Sam, she does,” he said abruptly. “Does she?” Jacob asked him back, which…fair.

Sam looked around briefly, to the people walking by, to the cars passing by, if they knew. “Of course she does, I’ve been in New York for a month already and then maybe I’ll go back home before promo truly starts.” He said softly, gently even. The line was completely blurred.

Jacob said nothing for a minute, he just sighed. Sam wanted to touch his cheek, to snuzzle his nose in the crook of his neck and breathe him in. To hold Jacob’s neck as he brushed his lips against the side of his jaw, just like earlier today when Sam said he needed a bathroom break and Jacob swiftly followed him there.

“I miss Rani,” Sam muttered. Jacob drew in a deep breath. “And the farm, and my cows and my chickens,” Sam smiled softly as he watched Jacob do the same.

“You’re such a farm boy,” he rolled his eyes.

Sam snorted, the back and forth was back and so was the ease of it. “That’s not the insult you think it is.”

Jacob shook his head, smirking into his cup. “‘snot,” he said, round, brown eyes peering over his coffee, staring at him. Mischief written all over his pretty face. Sam exhaled through his mouth, feeling overcome. “And well, then I had to tell you the very same little white lie, honestly, a very, small, insignificant little white lie.” Jacob tilted his head, pearly white teeth waved at him.

Sam couldn't resist it anymore, his mind having taken that right for him, he brought his finger up to Jacob’s face and booped the otherworldly mole on the side of his nose. It made Jacob blush, a deepened shade of pink crawling up to the apple of his cheeks, nose scrunched up and a dazzling smile on his face.

“Silly, endearing, Australian farm boy,” Jacob beamed. Sam melted. “Had a whole day planned for tomorrow, special day and whatnot.”

Sam huffed, nearly tripping on his feet. “Can I question what your adventurous self had planned for tomorrow, huh?”

He needed a good cold shower to bring him back to normal. Tomorrow would be Valentine’s Day. A day to spend it with your partner, with your long term girlfriend and in Jacob’s case, with his wife back in London. Sam had planned on facetiming Pip sometime tomorrow, mainly to apologize for not being there with her. Now, he feared she’d only receive a shitty text and a minute long call.

“Wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you so, mate.”

“Right,” a honk behind them startled them, a shout made Sam turn his head back. Two cars had nearly crashed into each other, their car lights having stopped a few inches away from the other.  “See that? Anything can happen, better tell me now or else I could die in the next few seconds–”

“You’re ridiculous.”

“–Not knowing the plans you had for us this week, imagine how terrible that would be–”

Jacob snorted through his nose. “My lips are sealed.”

“You would let me die without knowing this precious information? You’re evil.”

“And you’re absurd.” Jacob chuckled. “I think I’ll postpone my big surprise for a very special day next week,” he gazed up at the gray cloud, humming to himself. “Yeah, I’ll do that.”

Sam let his jaw hang open in disbelief, a smile lifting the corner of his mouth. “You’re a bastard.”

Jacob guffawed and laid his hand on his lower back again. Sam felt the nails scratch the clothing there, the warmth of his palm was obliterating, the pulling was dizzying.

Jacob lifted that very same dangerous hand and gently pinched his cheek. “Pretty Sam pink,” he whispered, grinning only for his eyes.

.

Saturday, their day off before they were called back into ADR on Monday. Also, Valentine’s Day.

Jacob had slept in his own hotel room, the one next door. He had wanted to call home, say goodnight to his girls. So, he hugged him goodnight, kissed him on his cheek and disappeared into his room. Sam had resisted the urge to knock and kiss those lips, turning mindlessly on his bed for hours before he finally fell asleep. It was today’s anticipation that had him on edge.

Sam had been in the shower when the knocking came. He rushed to the door, water dripping down his torso and a single cream towel hanging from his waist. The vision of Jacob dressed in an olive buttoned up shirt, a thin dark blue coat, sleepy eyes and a soft rouge shade on his cheeks besotted Sam. He looked cozy and cuddly.

Sam indulged into it, as always, because it was a special day. “I was told the pretty British man wanted a lean, athletic body, also a handsome face wouldn’t hurt.” It was just friendly banter, he thought to himself, like sniffing each other like dogs yesterday morning? A voice roared into his mind.

“Oh, is that right?” Jacob said, crowding his space suddenly, his clothed body touching his naked chest, nose bumping into his and a warm breath blowing into his mouth. The closeness, the intimacy swirled a hurricane in Sam’s stomach, knocking the air out of his lungs. “I was told my Valentine’s gift would be wearing…” he let the words out hang in the small space between them, looking down on his naked chest. “Less.”

Sam swallowed hard, the sight of Jacob’s long curled eyelashes cast a shadow on his blushed cheeks. The tension Sam reckoned would’ve worn out by now still hummed, powerful and vibrantly even after three long years of the same pull back and forth. It was exhilarating. It was nerve wracking.

“I remember you telling me this was my surprise,” Sam hushed into his lips. It had been months without a kiss, a real kiss.

Jacob tusked quietly, chuckling in his face. “Forgive me, good man,” he mumbled before stepping back. “It is your special week, after all.” He pushed away from him gently and strolled into his room.

Sam closed the door as he watched him lie flat on his bed. He walked up to him, standing directly in front of Jacob’s sleepy face. The riveting sight undid him. Jacob spread out on his bed, sultry gaze on his, heavy-lidded on his bed. Sam silently fixed his eyes on him.

Jacob blushed harder under the scrutiny of his gaze. He cleared his throat, itchy. “Well, as much as I think you’re in incredible shape, I’m not letting you go out naked, Samuel Reid.”

Sam smirked, holding the towel with one hand and laying his other hand flat on the side of his pillow, right by Jacob’s face. He came close, breathing heavier and slower, his heart hammering in his chest.

“You wouldn’t like that? Anything for my pretty client,” Sam mumbled, chestnut eyes boring into him, blinking languidly. It sent a wave of pressure, numbing and violently down to his cock.

“Fuck off,” Jacob whispered, licking his lips.

“Anything for you, Jakey,” Sam recovered, standing too fast, getting lightheaded from having all the blood rush to his groin at lightspeed. It was Jacob’s fault, Jacob and his beautiful eyes. “I’ll be ready in ten,” he slightly coughed, turning to his suitcase.

“Five.”

“You can’t rush me,” Sam said, feigning offence over his shoulder, smirking at him.

“Watch me.” Jacob winked at him.

Silence and then, “demanding princess.”

Jacob huffed. “Fuck you and get ready now.”

“Yes, sir.”

.

Jacob had looked up the best record stores of the city, staying up late last night. Why you think I’m barely hanging on right now, he told him as they rode the train.

It had started as a betting moment back when they were filming season 1. Asking each other the best artists of all time and Jacob teasing that Sam’s very indie Australian alternative rock singer was unknown here in the states and in the rest of the world. Sam had bet ten bucks that he was full of shit and that the next morning they would go to the first record store and there, Jacob would swallow his own words. It had been Sam to swallow his wounded ego.

From then on, it had swirled into a bonding–ritualistic almost–routinely sweet moment. Waking up early, walking the city and getting into the first music shop they would see. They would spend hours there, rummaging the worn out vinyl albums, scrapped CD’s and late 1980s cassette tapes.

The artists they discovered, the songs that only people like them would listen to, lyrics that they’d never heard anywhere else in the world, sang like a lullaby to them, entrancing them into this plane of existence that Sam had never reached with anyone else, nor had Jacob. It had deepened their bond in ways he had never seen possible.

“Oh, Sam, check this one out,” Jacob called to him, holding on a very faded vinyl album, hints of blue and orange on its cover. “Looks like a sunset over the ocean,” he beamed.

It was buzzing with people of all ages. It was the biggest in the city, a two story up vintage record store, rectangle-like shape with two metal spiral staircases on each corner at the far end of the shop and a few listening stations lined up right by the brick wall. He loved it.

“Looks peaceful,” Sam chimed in, walking up to him, brushing his shoulder to his and placing his hand directly on top of Jacob’s, expecting him to let him hold it. Jacob didn’t let go. “Something about the Pacific Ocean after a huge storm.”

Jacob gave him a crooked smile, side-eyeing him subtly. “Well, that’s oddly specific,” he bantered. “How the fuck did you guess that?” He grinned, turning the vinyl and pointing to one of the song titles. Pacific Muse.

Sam tittered, letting his body rock towards Jacob, letting him feel his weight. “My mind amazes me sometimes.”

“You’re a witch, wait no, a wizard, a mind reader, a telepathic creature that–”

Sam laughed harder now, letting go of the vinyl and placing his hand on Jacob’s nape, holding him, squeezing it lightly. “Yeah, alright, you got me, please don’t burn me at the stake.”

“Don’t know, mate, gotta convince me not to,” Jacob smirked at him, pushing his shoulder against his.

Sam felt heaviness on his mouth, his tongue was restless, licking his molars, gums, mouth scar. It was crowded, surely no one was noticing the tight close distance between them.

“Got a few ideas that might interest you,” Sam mumbled, holding the intensity of Jacob’s eye contact. Dangerous and inviting.

Jacob’s tongue darted out, gently sucking his bottom lip, making it shiny with spit. “Oh, I bet they would.”

“Soliciting and provoking, what happened to the polite and chivalrous men of London, huh?”

“I’ll show you polite and chivalrous, you bastard,” Jacob chortled as he tried to pinch one of Sam’s nipples, but failing because of the gray hoodie and olive jacket he was wearing.

Sam feigned pain as he laughed in his face. Jacob looked adorable with his nose scrunched up, fine wrinkles on the side of his eyes and a cute twist on his lips.

The young couple in front turned to them smiling, the old man holding his wife’s hand by Jacob’s side looked at them with a gleam in his eyes. Sam felt like a child caught eating candy at midnight, the self-conscious excitement swirled in his stomach.

“Careful, Sammy, I’ll take that cap off your head,” Jacob softly threatened him, unbeknownst to the knowing looks they were getting.

“You wouldn’t dare,” Sam continued, chuckling while taking the worn out vinyl in his hands. “Let’s give this bad boy a listen.”

.

The ice cream was a sweet numbing balm on Sam’s senses. It was Jacob’s next stop, gotta keep our traditions going, he said as they walked the five minute stroll to one of the best places in the city, according to google maps.

“Let me try yours,” Jacob beamed with a streak of coconut cheesecake flavored cream on his upper lip, aiming to take a bite out of his cone ice cream without waiting for his answer. Sam gave him a lopsided smirk and took the sweet icy thing out of his reach. “Sam!”

“I told you to get the coffee cookie one,” Sam laughed.

Jacob gasped with raised eyebrows and a mouth in a cute “o” shape. “Jesus, coffee this, coffee that, you’ll die from a heart attack in a few years, old man,” he shook his head, licking his cup of ice cream happily. “I’ll be at your funeral telling everyone you were a selfish and greedy man who loved his coffee flavored ice creams a little too much that he wouldn’t even wanna share it with his best friend. What a shame, mate.”

Sam rolled his eyes, taking a bite out of his, the warmth of his mouth melting it slowly. “Don’t be a cry baby,” he offered his cookie cone to Jacob who looked at him with a winning gleaming in his eyes. “You’re spoiled,” Sam faked indignation in his voice, as Jacob peered at him under his eyelashes and licked the cream off the side of the cone, the wet tongue touched the smudge that melted on Sam’s finger. It sent a bolt of energy down his belly, coiling rapidly around his clothed groin.

Jacob’s eyes were still on him, whatever expression Sam had on his face, sent Jacob into a fit of giggles. “Sorry, sorry,” he innocently giggled as he finally took a bite and hummed. “Great choice, Mr. Reid, that’s really good.”

Sam sighed, hotness spreading through his chest and up to his neck, he chose to lick the same spot Jacob had taken a bite of. He wanted to get to his hotel room and spread Jacob on his bed. “Where’s the next stop in your very intricate plan for today, Mr. Anderson?"

Jacob was savoring his cheesecake ice cream when he looked around, a frown on his face. “I’m afraid, Mr. Reid, I haven’t planned that well, you see, we were supposed to be in New York now,” he said in a posh tone.

“Ah, what a pity, what will we do now, good sir?” Sam chimed in, walking by his side. He loved being with Jacob.

“Well,” Jacob muttered, looking around, licking his cherry cold lips and smiling. “You wanna go hunting, sir?”

Sam turned to where he was looking at. A poster taped on the window of an Italian restaurant. He quickly scanned the street they were on and on multiple shops and windows similar posters were pinned on.

The laughter that ripped out of Sam’s throat was high-pitched and it only made Jacob smile even more. “There’s nothing I would enjoy more than that, mister.”

Sam could think of a couple things he would definitely enjoy more, but Jacob was grinning at him with sunlight hitting on his handsome face, making his hair a light caramel color and well, Sam was only a man. He physically couldn't say anything else.

Belly giggles hummed in the air as they both walked to the window. Cupid's Quest Festival.

Jacob read the rules out loud, both grinning like little kids waiting for mischief. They had to scan the QR codes and complete whatever scavenger hunt it gave them. Sam would be lying to himself if he didn’t admit this thrilled him beyond words, not the quest itself, but the insane amount of time he was spending with his favorite person in the world, on Valentine’s Day nonetheless.

The minutes blurred, the hours went by in the swift motion of a wrist. They had managed to outdo an old couple. Well, Sam had, too hungry to eat literally anything, had urged Jacob to hurry up and place the Cupid figurine-like statue in the hands of the Thai chef himself. They had gotten it from a library QR code, the figurine had a paper wrapped by its ankles: “Love at first bite, this Southeast Asian cuisine will curry you to the love of your life, leaving you Hangover in a pad boat. Find me for a paid and delicious lunch.”

Jacob had slapped his arm when he had seen the old couple on the entrance of the restaurant laughing and slightly out of breath, turning to leave. Sam! That poor couple, god, he had chided him. Jake, I could eat the whole menu right now, Sam had defended himself. Jacob had taken his hand and dragged him to them, loudly telling them to stop. As the  gentleman he was, he’d offered to buy them lunch. The man had profusely thanked Jacob, shaking his hand, the sweet old lady had looked at their clasped hands, what a kind and handsome couple you both are, she had said, fondly smiling at them. Jacob hadn’t corrected her, just told them to enjoy the food.

Sam had felt lightheaded and fuzzy all over, a very low buzzing in his ears. It hadn’t been the first time they’d been deemed as a couple by others. It didn’t bother him, and it very much didn’t bother Jacob.

“This is the best Thai food I’ve had in my life, fuck me,” Sam moaned, closing his lids as he took another bite out of his juicy shrimp.

Jacob gulped his lychee ice tea, softly chuckling. "Wouldn't that be fun,” he scooped his mango sticky rice and dipped it into his mouth, groaning when the sweetness of the coconut exploded on his tongue. “Fuck me, let’s go to Thailand.”

“Finally, please,” Sam gave him a lop-sided smirk, his mouth full of curried sea food.

Jacob dipped his head, giggling to himself. “Please to what exactly,” he urged on.

Sam savored the traces of mild spicy juices on his lips. The line was nonexistent in moments like this. “Please to the first option and then to the second, obviously.”

Jacob guffawed loudly, his cheeks were flushed mirroring his. “You greedy aussie fucker,” he tilted his head, sweetly smiling at him. “What will I do with you?”

“Nothing, I’m afraid you’re stuck with me, mate,” Sam blew him a kiss jokingly, winking at him, very Lestat-style. The thing was, he was being serious.

Jacob tittered, taking one of Sam’s shrimps and plopping it into his mouth. “Oh, forever stuck with my personal Lestat…ain’t that a win,” he rolled his eyes to the side.

Sam snorted, taking the bait. “He is a lover, just like me. You’ve definitely won in life, Jakey.”

Jacob bit his bottom lip, the way he was looking at him felt raw and honest, no trace of half-truths disguised as friendly banter. “Yeah, I think I have,” he softly muttered.

Sam could kiss Jacob right now, could take his hand and caress his knuckles, bring it to his lips and leave petal-like kisses on them. The intensity of his desperate affection tingled through him, waves of tiny explosions bubbled up to his chest, leaving him breathless.

The place was alive, loud voices bounced off the walls, metal spoons clinking and fire going wild in the kitchen. The words of the Thai chef imprinted in his mind, my pleasure to serve another happy and in love couple, love him well. Enjoy and happy Valentine’s Day.

“I’ve won too, you know,” Sam whispered, he brought his hand close to where Jacob’s was resting and with his finger, gently stroked his thumb, not quite touching, not yet.

Jacob blushed, a soft closed-mouth smile shadowing his face, obsidian brown eyes glinting at him knowingly. “Eat up, my man, my feet are killing me.”

Sam nodded, smiling, slowly retreating his hand back to place. “I deserve a good foot massage,” he said.

“Let’s see about that.” Jacob uttered, the teasing smirk back.

.

“That’s gonna be all over the internet,” Jacob beamed, walking behind Sam’s hotel room, fidgeting with something and closing the room. “It’s your undercover cap that made it so obvious.”

Sam huffed a laugh, taking off his jacket and undercover cap. “You do realize we stopped at that café because you wanted to give the grand prize a try, you asked the cashier and then the fans spotted us, right?” He took the tie off his low bun, letting his nails scratch the tight scalp.

Jacob tsked, his hand coming up behind him with one of his claw clips. “Thank you, so it’s really your fault,” Sam said, getting his hair up again.

“Whatever, just two dudes spending Valentine’s Day together, it’s not that weird anyway,” Jacob’s frame came into vision as he settled down on his bed, his sly tight-lip smile firing him up. “Both of our partners know where we are and who we are with, so let them call it whatever they want.”

Sam edged up to him, slowly, taking off his hoodie along the short path to Jacob’s self doubting body. “That’s right,” he breathed out, stopping and facing him completely, the hem of his black t-shirt was being pulled. Jacob was playing with some loose cotton thread. “Besides, I’m usually the one mortified about what people think on the internet,” Sam drew in a deep and long breath. “Take the advice you always give me and let them think whatever.”

Whatever was what had been holding Sam together for three years, whatever having started one late shooting night in Prague, whatever was what had been making them happy, what had made him feel lighter for the first time in his thirty eight years alive.

“Yeah,” Jacob let out a slow, steady sigh. “I’ll take my own great advice,” he muttered, a shaky laugh being pulled from his throat. “Did you enjoy today?” He peered up at him, still sat down, still quite rattled.

Sam gave him a low hum, nodding eagerly. “Best Valentine’s Day I’ve ever had.” The tight serpent coil in his lower stomach was being slowly stirred by Jacob’s sad self-conscious puppy eyes.

“Now, you’re exaggerating,” Jacob gave him a genuine smile as he stood up, heavy-lidded and gaze locked on his. “Best you’ve ever had?” He shyly whispered.

Sam barely nodded, he couldn't take his eyes off him. The implication rendered him in place, unable to do anything, but to take all of Jacob’s beauty in. He breathed out, Jacob slowly blinked at him. The simmering necessity was suffocating his lower belly, wrapping around it in a tight fist. His cock was pulsing in his pants.

Sam was maybe an inch taller, the broad of shoulder made him look bigger than Jacob, but they were mostly the same size. Now, though, he felt he was towering over him.

Jacob let out a shaky breath, his fingers starting to unbutton his olive shirt one by one, without rush. “Loss for words?”

“Maybe,” Sam barely uttered.

His black t-shirt was off in a blink of an eye, his breathing became shallow and unsteady. Jacob’s scalding look was on his naked chest, the muscle on his shoulders, the hard earned abs on his stomach. It was violently dizzying the lust in his eyes. His fingers reached the bottom of his shirt, taking it off. Jacob’s chest was rising rapidly and heavier, his tongue darted out a few times to lick his dry lips.

Sam hadn’t felt its softness in months, it was driving him crazy, moody and itchy all over. Sam reached the hem of his white t-shirt and silently he peeled it off.

“Let me kiss you.” He mumbled, nosing his temple. It was all Sam could think of. Jacob’s lips, Jacob’s mouth, Jacob’s taste on his tongue.

Jacob gave him one nod before Sam’s hungry lips found his. The groan that Sam let out was relief, the earth shattering belief that this is what he had been waiting for months.

The adrenaline was a hit on his veins, buzzing wildly along his skin. Two hands came to grab his waist while Sam rooted Jacob in place with both of his hands on his face. Jacob moaned unashamedly, nails grazing his lower back, biting, licking, sucking his lips. It was feverish, the heat of Jacob’s body pressed sweetly against his, naked flesh against naked flesh made Sam lightheaded.

“Take it off,” Jacob purred on his bruised lips. “Take it.”

Holding Jacob by the nape, Sam’s hand ventured south, mapping the bony collarbones, the black coarse hairs on his chest, the softness on his belly. The maddening sensation that was the warmth of Jacob’s figure.

Sam pulled Jacob’s bottom lip with his teeth, sliding the joggers and briefs Jacob was wearing off his thighs.

“My shoes, wait,” Jacob mumbled mindlessly, panting on his open mouth, kicking them off easily.

Sam nuzzled his cheek, leaving a trail of saliva alongside the thickness of his beard. Heavy breathing was humming in the air, vibrating through their bodies. Jacob was naked, finally. Round and soft slopes carved his body. Sam’s hands were everywhere, lower back, shoulder blades, running up to his face, holding his jaw tight and devouring his mouth again.

Sam loved kissing, but making out with Jacob had become his own personal heaven. The ravenous nature in which he kissed was addictive, tongue invading and fighting his, urging him to take everything, to push and pull, to rile him up until he snapped like a rubber band. Jacob loved it.

It was his whimper that tore through the density of the room. Sam had grabbed the fatty flesh of Jacob’s ass. “Fuck, on my back or belly?” Jacob breathless asked, sweetly, politely even. It unnerved Sam.

Sam groaned, moving to the crook of his neck, lapping the length of its slenderness like a dog, biting the tendons with force. Wetness was pooling on his lower stomach, the hardness of Jacob pushing into him as a challenge.

“Both,” Sam mumbled on damped skin, dizzy on his scent, spicy honey tickling his nostrils.

“Greedy,” Jacob gently kissed his lips, the hunger seemed to have dissipated, Sam knew better. Sweet kitten kisses on his jaw, special attention to his mouth scar. “This is unfair, I’m naked as a baby and you’re still wearing too many clothes.”

“Is that so?” Sam coyly provoked. The pressure on his groin was debilitating, throbbing in pulsating waves, straining his jeans. Jacob’s hand applied pressure on it, it numbed Sam’s mind.

Jacob ran his fingers through his frizzy hair, sweeping the prickles of sweat dotted on his browbone. “I’m flattered by how easy you get hard,” he cooed on the shell of his ear. Sam wanted to say it just took brown eyes boring into his, but Jacob was faster. “You imagined it, didn’t you?”

Sam made a strangling sound on the skin of his neck, his fingers dancing, circling the tight hole that enticed him. Jacob sighed, letting go of his hardness and unbuckling his jeans. “This morning, me on your bed, just me, it got you hard.”

Sam huffed through his nose, nuzzling his face into the slope of Jacob’s neck even further deep, if that was even possible. The embarrassment, the shame came breaking down his walls, buzzing on his ears, bright crimson red burning his face.

Jacob gently laughed, endeared even. “Oh, love, I just said I’m flattered.”

“Sorry, you just drive me over the edge,” Sam blew air into Jacob’s face, rubbing his nose into his. “I can’t help it, sorry.”

Jacob dove into his mouth, tongue finding his, moaning and demanding. Sam rutted against the naked flesh of Jacob’s thigh, whining when the right angle sent a shiver through his legs.

“Please, let me fuck you,” Sam begged in a whisper, out of breath and desperate.

Jacob let go of his belt, holding his face for a second, stroking his cheeks softly, licking his dry lips. “Okay, yeah, yeah,” he shuddered.

Then, he was off him, lying on the bed, knees bent and, without resisting, letting his thighs spread open. Sam nearly fell on his knees, beads of sweat glinted under the amber light of his room. Jacob naked, looking beautiful, soft and a vision out of his wet dreams.

“Get naked, please,” he rushed him, the desperation painted on his face.

Sam’s eyes were fixated on the inviting body on his bed as he took his shoes off, his jeans slid off his legs with ease.

“Naked,” Jacob said again, with determination.

His briefs were off immediately. Sam steadied himself for a moment, the adrenaline pumping hard and with viciousness in his veins and Jacob’s lop-sided smirk getting him all wired up.

“Pretty Sam pink,” he muttered, fluttering his lids lazily.

Sam felt hot, his nerves jumping out of his skin. He shook his head, sighing into the room. He swallowed down hard and crawled to him.

“On your belly,” Sam inhaled his scent, nosing up under his jaw, following the bone to where it met the ear. “Last time I wanted to, but–”

“But they needed you on set,” Jacob sighed, throwing his head back against the pillows, exposing it to Sam’s insatiable gawking stare. “Hands and knees then.”

Sam pinned Jacob to the mattress, grinding on his hardness, his cock leaking furiously in need of attention, firm dark brown nipples brushing against his prickled skin. Sam murmured something, indecipherable words coming out of his mouth, his mind trying to connect to the rational part of his brain, but all there was was Jacob, the rest was white noise.

Sam followed a trail of open mouth kisses down his chest, sucking the nipples, biting the flesh. Jacob muttered a string of fucks and pleases, his name singing on his lips. He  grabbed a hold of Sam’s loose hair, making a fist and pressing his face to where his mouth was.

“Waited for so long,” Sam whispered, following Jacob’s happy trail. “Back when you left my bed in Toronto, back in Iceland, back home, fuck,” Sam ogled the flushed tip of Jacob’s, a creamy viscous liquid coating its pretty head. Jacob writhed beneath him, lifting his hips off the mattress, in need of a touch, of a lick, of anything. Sam started salivating.

The veins running along Jacob’s length bulged on Sam’s tongue, the subtle taste of musk, sweat, saltiness, the bitterness on his gums made him roll his eyes back into his head. Jacob struggled out a whine, trying to push his thighs together. Sam did not let him.

“Sam, I swear to god, please–” His pleadings died on the tip of his tongue as Sam swallowed him down in one go.

Sam relaxed his throat, letting it rest heavy on his tongue, feeling the pulsing waves of blood rushing to Jacob’s cock. Sam rutted on the bed, seeking friction, release. He popped the head out, licking it flat with his tongue, moaning, tasting him, soothing his hip bone with his thumb. Jacob cried out, pulling on his hair, yet trying to rock his hips into his mouth.

“Shit,” Jacob hissed, taking hold of his face and pushing it away. “Fuck me, please, Sam, I’m ready.”

Sam chuckled, turning his face slightly and kissing his palm. “You’re gonna.” He sat on his heels, giving Jacob some unnecessary space. “Hands and knees, please.”

Jacob puffed out, rolling his eyes, but doing so. Knees spread out, back arched, and slyly smiling at him over his shoulder. Sam had noticed he had become more relaxed as these encounters happened, more open, more provoking. Jacob alone, his shy, sunshine, endearing persona had him wrapped around his finger, that mix added to this Jacob, it had ruined Sam for anyone else.

Sam spreaded his asscheeks, blowing hot air into the tight hole. Jacob wiggled his hips into him, demanding to get on with it. Sam obliged happily.

He spat into it, rubbing his thumb around the circle. Sam dove in, tongue pushing against the tight muscles, Jacob panting over his shoulder, mouth slack open and gaze on him. The notion that Jacob would be sore tomorrow morning made him start fucking into him in earnest. The promise of quivering thighs, glazed up brown eyes and pretty moanings made him start pushing his index finger alongside his tongue. Jacob groaned into his shoulder.

Now, you’re ready,” Sam croaked out, lips brushing the brown skin of one of Jacob’s cheeks, taking the fat between his teeth, flicking his finger, brushing his prostate and making Jacob sing.

“Fuck, I can’t, I won’t last long if you keep–” he choked on his spit, mumbling, rocking back into him. “Fuck me now,” Jacob demanded.

Sam spat again on his hole, pushing his middle finger in. “Shhh, one more and I will, I promise.”

Jacob grunted, dipping his head, letting it hang over his chest. His back was pearly with sweat, the swell of his lower back jiggling lightly, the curve of his waist hypnotizing Sam. He held onto it as he wriggled his two fingers into Jacob, twisting, pulling back and in again. Repeat.

Jacob was a mess of disgruntled noises as Sam’s fingers pressed into his prostate, his elbows were giving up, trembling, trying to keep his body up. Sam took pity, he could have had Jacob like this for hours, wringing out his orgasm until he was crying, saliva dripping down his chin, but it had been months and he needed to melt into him now.

The hand holding onto Jacob’s waist ran down, holding his hips still. Sam pulled his fingers out, the hole gleaming in spit, puffy and ready. Jacob let out a frustrated sigh, his body swaying forward, out of his will.

Sam moved back, crawling to the side of his bed, opening the nightstand and searching blindly for the tiny lube he bought yesterday.

“When did you buy lube?” Jacob asked out of breath, smirking lazily.

“When you texted me you landed in New York,” Sam said matter-of-factly.

Jacob snorted, dipping his head to the side. “So, you already had in mind to fuck me,” he teased, grinning and flushed.

Sam crawled back behind him, opening the lube and squirting some on the palm of his hand. “I always have high hopes,” he mumbled softly, the banter put aside as he stroked his cock up and down, starving off the inevitability that would come later.

“At the airport?” Jacob pushed, provoking.

Sam clashed his teeth, holding the base and aiming it at Jacob’s tight hole. The head was caught, Jacob gave up the fight and let one elbow hit the soft sheets of the bed, deepening his arched back.

“Yeah,” Sam hissed. “At the airport.”

He pushed in slowly, the girth of his cock splitting Jacob open made him grunt through his teeth, the tightness numbed him, he held harder onto Jacob’s plush hips.

The air was charged with the long months without each other, the constant reassurement that this was enough, the jealousy that came in hurricaned winds, the intensity of their gazes meeting in a crowded room and never looking away.

“Buying lube at the airport,” Jacob managed to get out as Sam shoved himself a little deeper. “Filthy.”

Sam came undone, the tension bursting through the seams, thrusting to the hilt. Jacob made a choke out sound, fisting the sheets, whimpering nonsense. Sam pulled back and thrusted in again. The velvet, smooth walls of Jacob engulfing him, clenching around him, resisting to let go.

Sweat dripping down Sam’s forehead, his skin on fire, prickled and flushed. The sight of Jacob meeting his thrusts made him close his eyes, bursting white specks of light behind his closed lids. The feel of Jacob’s meaty hips shaking, quivering in pleasure, his toned back glistening made him pound harder, flutter his eyes open.

“Sam, fuck, I’ve missed this,” he gurgled out, strung out of his mind, his body pushing forward as Sam’s rummaged into him. “Missed you so much, god.”

Sam moaned, covering him in an instant, skin on skin. He planted open mouth kisses on his shoulder, panting, out of breath, explosions of lava running down his lower back.

“I’ll show you filthy,” Sam warned him.

Short, rabbity thrusts met Jacob’s ass, Sam’s cock disappearing into him, slaps of skin tore the air, satisfied cries rang in his ears. Jacob could only whine, barely moving now, pinned under Sam’s weight, face smushed into the pillows, rolled up eyes and bruised lips. It was everything Sam dreamed of. He hungrily kissed him, if he could call it that, just breathing into him, jaw slack open.

“I’m gonna come,” Jacob hushed, almost inaudible, breathing soft and heavy.

Sam planted one foot on the bed as the other leg was still on its knee and pulled away, taking Jacob’s hips off the mattress with him. He rocked in and almost out, only the head being inside Jacob. In and almost out. Sam groaned as he thrusted deeper, slower, tar-like liquid running down his belly, a welcomed ache on his lower back, muscles taut and waiting for relief.

“Please,” Jacob muttered, sweaty and gone.

Sam shushed him, gripping his hips with force as he shoved himself in a few more times until Jacob’s walls were clenching around him, whitening his vision. Jacob came almost choking, gulping for air. Sam collapsed on top of him as he followed him, nosing into his nape, thighs trembling and chest heaving. His come filling Jacob, the stickiness on their thighs was ecstasy itself.

They stayed there for an eternity, letting the post-coital fog clear, to regain some sense of clarity. Jacob broke the silence.

“That was some pounding, mate,” he let out a breathy laugh, curly black hair dampened on his hairline. “Jesus fuck, Sam, you fucked me into oblivion.”

Sam’s laugh was muffled onto Jacob’s cheek. “A five out of five experience, then,” he kissed him gently.

“A hundred out of a hundred, you’ve got talent,” Jacob playfully tempted, pushing back his hips against Sam’s groin. Sam hissed. “You sure acting is your calling?”

Sam quietly chuckled. “Wanna be my first, only and permanent client and figure it out?” He pulled out his now soft dick out of Jacob in one go, watching as his come dripped down Jacob’s quivering thighs.

Jacob gasped softly. “Fuck you.”

Sam kissed his cherry lips. “Just did,” he said as he lay down on his back.

Jacob tsked him as he turned around and let his head rest on Sam’s chest, hand playing with fine blond hair. “Your music video looks like a very well produced porno.”

Sam inhaled his scent in, the city was slowing down, the sun had an amber shade to it now. “I just fucked you quite literally into the mattress and you’re still talking, Jake,” he smiled into the dampened hair.

“Wanna try again and shut me up for real?”

Sam bellowed, stroking Jacob’s arm softly, feeling its goosebumps. “Wanna sleep for a century.”

“Forgot you’re almost forty,” Jacob kissed his nipple, nibbling at it gently. “Gotta take care of my old man now…shit, what will it become of me?”

Sam let out a low groan, shifting lightly. “Just wait til next time.”

“Can’t wait, love,” he playfully muffled on his chest, stroking mindlessly on his stomach. Sam adored him.

Silence engulfed them. Sam then felt a finger down his happy trail, groaning, he grabbed the slim wrist.

Jacob giggled as he booped the tip of his dick. “Pretty Sam pink,” he absentmindedly whispered, voice sultry and sleepy.

Sam just kissed the top of his head, softly chuckling into him. “You’re an idiot.”

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Sammy,” Jacob muttered instead.

It bloomed in Sam’s chest, the possibility of them, the friendship and partnership intricately weaving into each other to the point of no return.

The point of no return.

Sam was afraid he had already crossed that line a long time ago. He was a dreamer and in his dreams Jacob was the only constant in his life. Sam let these thoughts drift, no point dwelling into them when Jacob was dozing off on his chest.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Jake,” he whispered, clasping Jacob’s hand, stroking his knuckles. “Best one I’ve ever had.” No jokes, no banter, just pure raw honesty.

Jacob hummed happily, brushing his lips on his skin.

The secret lay heavy as a feather on their bodies, tickling something deep in their chests.

Tomorrow would be another day.

Notes:

If this had any spelling mistakes or inconsistencies, I'm sorry, I'll edit it soon (just did, if there's still mistakes, well, cope). I just needed to post this, so I can focus on my other jam fic. Hint: Sam's birthday.

Jam ruined many lives that Sunday morning (mine). God bless the allegations.

Hope you guys liked this!
