Chapter Text
AUTHOR'S NOTE
I wrote this because I’ve always been drawn to Tadhg Lynch’s story. In Chloe Walsh's books, his personality depth and relationships aren't discussed enough. It's the everyday moments, the small interactions, the way both Leah and Tadhg carry things they don’t admit that I want to portray.
Tadhg’s past is part of that. He’s grown up learning to read his abusive father's moods, to brace himself for the sting of the abuse he receives, to stay small when things get loud. It’s not the focus of this fic, but it’s part of who he is now, and it naturally colours the way he moves through the world and the way he connects with Leah.
TRIGGER WARNINGS

- Strained interpersonal relationships
- Coarse language, including slurs and cuss words
- Violence and heavy insulting
DEDICATION
This story is for everyone who pays attention to the small things in life, like moments that look insignificant from the outside but feel enormous to the people living them.
It’s for the readers who see the complexity in Leah Daly and Tadhg Lynch in themselves and can relate to it. You should never suffer alone.
