M.O.A.T. DISPATCH NO.346

Daily Analysis of THE BLACK PARADE

HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL

NIGHTLY REPORT: GW886 woke several times during the course of the night. Seen laughing, crying and whispering during sleep. This is expected behavior. Slight improvements seen recently. RT506 was also restless last night.

7:00 A.M: THE BLACK PARADE is woken up by morning announcements over speakers.

GW886 and RT506- even numbers- currently in solitary confinement

RT506 struggles to wake up due to recovery from injuries sustained during reconditioning. He cannot stand for several minutes.

FI927 and MW653 - odd numbers- currently in General Population

7:05 A.M: FI927 and MW653 are found sleeping on the same pallet. Violation of RULE 5. They are punished accordingly (each struck in the face several times).

FI927 protests but apologizes afterwards.

MW653 takes punishment in silence.

8:00 A.M: Breakfast given individually to GW886 and RT506 in solitary. GW886 eats reluctantly.

RT506 cannot reach food without crawling. Breaks down crying. Nurses sent in to feed him and provide approved comfort.

GW886 hears this and begins banging head against wall. Example of Reconditioning Behavior #3. He is allowed to do so as a form of self-punishment and to minimize all contact with others.

MW653 and FI927 escorted to dining hall. They stare at The Eye for several seconds before moving. MW653 refuses to eat and gives portion to FI927 instead.

8:16 A.M: FI927 “flips off” The Eye. Recommend remedying in next reconditioning session.

8:45 A.M: Pills administered to GW886 and RT506 by nurses and DS672. Both GW886 and RT glare at DS672 but take pills without complaint.

9:00 A.M: Pills administered to MW653 and FI927 by nurses and DS672. FI927 refuses to take pill and shoves it in his jacket. FI927 spends the next 3 minutes pretending to ignore the nurses and DS672.

9:03 A.M: Pill forcibly administered to FI927 by holding mouth open. MW653 takes his eagerly.

9:17 A.M: MW653 takes previously discarded pill from FI927’s jacket and consumes it. Exhibits symptoms of addiction; behavior to be monitored.

8:45 A.M.-12:00 P.M: GW886 and RT506 subjected to sensory deprivation in cells. GW886 talks to himself and paces. Example of Reconditioning Behavior #3.

9:42 A.M: GW886 wears out voice and legs. Attempts to tear uniform; rips button off and it rolls underneath pallet. Violation of PPAR 80. GW886 to remain in solitary confinement for an extra day as punishment.

GW886 demonstrates extreme distress when this is communicated over announcements.

QUOTE: “I want The Gentleman back”.

9:45 A.M: All prisoners in General Population required to stand for announcements and Over Fields. FI927 and MW653 and comply without enthusiasm.

10:00 A.M: FI927 and MW653 return to cells. MW653 returns to bed and falls asleep almost immediately. FI927 uses previously approved paper and pencil for entertainment. FI927 stops several times and sighs heavily before erasing.

PAPER:

THE FUTURE IS BULLETPROOF.

Meaning unknown. To be monitored.

10:21 A.M: RT506 attempts to comb through hair with fingers. Violation of PPAR 42. Orderly sent in for appropriate punishment and strong reaction is triggered. RT506 backs himself into a corner due to inability to walk. Example of Reconditioning Behavior #8. Cuffed by hands and feet until 12:00 P.M.

RT506 experiences a great amount of distress due to serious wounds previously sustained on wrists and ankles.

12:00 P.M: Nurses enter GW886 and RT506’s cells to perform daily examinations. RT506 uncuffed. MW653 and FI927 escorted to medical center for separated daily examinations.

12:09 P.M: MW653 refuses to cooperate until cuffed to examination table.

MEDICAL REPORT: Prisoners GW886/RT506/FI927/MW653

GW886 exhibits signs of bruising on temple from head banging and voice damage from excessive speaking. Speech to be restricted until GW886 can prove that his voice has returned fully.

RT506’s wrists and ankles show signs of extreme bruising. RT506’s ankles are both fractured and pain increases daily. Recommend leaving it for at least one more day and monitoring from there.

FI927 appears relatively stable save for typical signs of scarring and bruising. Expected result of reconditioning.

MW653’s vitals are abnormally low for a living person. He appears to possess less control over his limbs. Vitals to be monitored; limbs are expected result of reconditioning.

12:45 P.M: Examinations concluded. RT506 salutes without question but visibly winces when stomping foot. GW886 hesitates for longer than necessary. Recommend remedying in next reconditioning session. FI927 and MW653 both salute when asked. FI927 sighs deeply beforehand. Recommend remedying in next reconditioning session.

GW886 asks HEAD NURSE SYLVIA not to leave when examination is concluded.

Request is obviously denied. Demonstrates clear effects of isolation.

1:00 P.M: FI927 and MW653 are escorted to M.C.R. for separate reconditioning sessions.

1:02 P.M: MW653 realizes he is being taken to reconditioning and demonstrates adverse reaction. MW653 attempts to bite an escorting soldier. FI927 laughs at this. Both are punished appropriately.

FI927 is struck several times on the hands.

MW653 is pushed to the floor by escorting soldiers and kicked in the stomach. Demonstrates unexpected reaction by laughing and speaks out of turn before being kicked several more times in the stomach.

Prisoners FI927 and MW653 both subjected to more punishment before typical reconditioning sequence.

QUOTE from MW653:

THE AFTERMATH IS SECONDARY.

Meaning unknown.

RECONDITIONING

FI927 and MW653 both administered pain inducing shots. Strapped down for light and audio sequence.

RESULTS:

Apparent success. FI927 sobs on floor afterward and MW653 covers eyes for nearly half an hour. Claims they hurt too much. This is disregarded.

4:00 P.M: FI927 and MW653 salute and pledge obedience to His Grand Immortal Dictator. They do so eagerly when promised it will make the pain stop. Both are struck several more times and demonstrate strong reactions.

MW653 falls to his and begs supervising officials not to hurt him. Swears he will “be good”.

FI927 begins yelling nonsensically and refuses to speak for several hours.

8:00 P.M: Prisoners are collected from cells for rehearsal. Personally supervised by THE SECRETARY. RT506 is noticeably enthused and refuses to let go of his guitar for the duration of the rehearsal. Example of Reconditioning Behavior #8. Demonstrates attachment as a probable trauma response. GW886 still struggles with getting through performances without breaking down. FI927 and MW653 struggle slightly against playing but settle into it. This is considered a positive improvement when compared with previous attempts to get them to rehearse.

SECRETARY’S NOTES: Band seems eager to please, possibly due to the privilege of seeing each other again. Touching not allowed and under rules of Solitary Confinement RT506 and GW886 are forbidden from speaking. All prisoners appear to take comfort in physical proximity nonetheless.

8:02 P.M: MW653 walks towards GW886; possibly to hug him. Remembers RULE 5 and stops. Sign of positive improvement.

8:07 P.M: Prisoner RT506 repeats chord several times. Speaks.

Quote: DO IT NOW. DO IT LOUD.

8:11 P.M: Prisoner MW653 trips over SECRETARY’s foot. Demonstrates loss of control over limbs.

8:13 P.M: Prisoner RT506 repeats chord several times. Speaks.

Quote: DO IT NOW. DO IT LOUD.

8:17 P.M: Prisoner RT506 repeats chord several times. Speaks.

Quote: DO IT NOW. DO IT LOUD.

8:30 P.M: Prisoner GW886 laughs at nothing.

9:27 P.M: Prisoner GW886 begins sobbing on floor.

10:22 P.M: Prisoner RT506 repeats chord several times. Speaks. Other prisoners visibly distressed. RT506 notices and speaks to them directly. This is forbidden under nature of Solitary Confinement. RT506 is punished appropriately (struck several times in torso with baton). Rehearsal continues uninterrupted.

Quote: DO IT NOW. DO IT LOUD.

Meaning unknown. Behavior to be monitored.

11:00 P.M: Rehearsal concludes. Prisoners demonstrate signs of exhaustion and dehydration. RT506 and GW886 must be held up by officers while being escorted to cells. FI927 and MW653 observe this and are visibly troubled. Recommend remedying in next reconditioning session.

11:20 P.M: Dinner given to all prisoners in cells. GW886 and RT506 remain in Solitary Confinement and the dining hall is closed for General Population.

RT506 manages to eat but falls asleep on floor. Joint pain will likely increase tomorrow.

FI927 and MW653 speak little but eat sitting next to each other. This is permitted due

to lateness of the hour and demonstrated signs of improvement during the day.

12:00 A.M: All prisoners required to sleep. FI927, GW886 and RT506 fall asleep almost immediately. MW653 stares at ceiling for 1 hour.

12:59 A.M: MW653 closes eyes.

3:06 A.M: GW886 bolts awake from sleep, alerting nurses. Retrieves button from underneath pallet.

3:07 A.M: GW886 tears mattress off pallet and begins scratching into concrete with button. He writes only two phrases before going back to sleep.

Concrete later examined by nurses reads:

KILLJOYS

MAKE SOME NOISE.

Meaning unknown.

Notes:

Thank you so much for reading! Kudos and comments are highly appreciated- I'm thinking of making this part of a series where it's like extracted files from the MOAT, kind of like @blue_jolly_rancher on here as well

Maybe a contract between Draag and BL/ind next?
