Work Text:
You step into the room, sighing after an exhausting long day. You suddenly tense, feeling another's gaze on you.
Turning around, you see the author in the corner, grinning at your return. You relax. It's just them.
Author lunges at you, but this is something you're used to by now. As always, the author screeches once they get within 3 feet, falling back as they clutch their head. You shake your head fondly at their antics.
You move to the kitchen, grabbing some reshrements. You're absolutely parched. After a few seconds, you hear a pattering of footsteps following you.
You, being the freak you are, grab the half filled jug of lemonade a few days ago and chug its remaining contents with startling speed. Once you finish, the author claps excitedly for you.
You grin. This is why you love the author. They support even when nobody else will.
You wish they wouldn't call you a freak though, you think, frowning. The author giggles.
It's a compliment.
You raise an eyebrow at that. You're not sure how you're supposed to take that in a positive manner.
The author reminds you that they are also a freak. You could be freaks together.
You're not very sure about that-
But you are-
Hey! You think indignantly. Just because they're the author doesn't mean they can-
Yes the author can.
You stay silent, and despite your wishes to go upstairs and wash off, you stare at the author while they stare back You're not exactly sure what draws your gaze to them-
Oh screw it, yes you do!
You could stare forever into those gorgues-
YOU WANT TO GO!
Hey, you didn't even get to think in incredible how beautiful the authors eyes are.
Oh goodness, you're stuck here.
