Work Text:
Wonwoo really liked working with Mingyu. He was his favorite actor—not just because he was excellent at his job, incredibly handsome, and polite, but because his skin was so well cared for. There was nothing to hide with makeup tricks; that was just how he naturally looked—smooth and beautiful. Even his skin tone was fascinating. It had that warm undertone that caught the light in a very particular way under the studio lamps, not too pale, not too dark—just perfect for the camera.
Whenever Wonwoo had to prep his skin before a scene, he always ended up thinking the same thing: there honestly wasn’t that much to do. A bit of moisturizer, something light to even things out, maybe the faintest touch to mattify certain areas—but nothing that involved covering imperfections, because Mingyu simply didn’t have many. And for someone who had spent years learning how to correct, conceal, and disguise, coming across a face like that was almost relaxing.
Wonu was a makeup artist, a career he had chosen after being inspired by his mother and his sister, who had both worked in the same field. Wonwoo had always been closer to his mom, so he grew up surrounded by her makeup kits, skincare products, little tricks, and endless stories. His older sister followed in their mother’s footsteps too, so he ended up witnessing a whole new generation of those products and techniques as well.
He remembered very clearly how, when he was a kid, he would sit on the floor of his mom’s room while she organized her brushes, cleaned her sponges, or lined up bottles and palettes with almost obsessive precision. He liked the sound of containers softly clinking against each other, the smell of creams and toners, the way his mom talked about people’s skin as if it were something delicate—almost like a canvas that deserved respect.
His sister, on the other hand, had always been more technical, more ambitious. She was constantly testing new products, talking about trends, teaching him how to distinguish textures, pigment levels, and finishes. Sometimes she would let him sit in front of her and try things out on his face when he was still a teenager.
"Don’t move," she’d say while lifting his chin with two fingers. "If you move, the eyeliner’s going to get ruined." And he would stay perfectly still, staring at his own reflection with curiosity while learning—without fully realizing it—how that whole world worked.
Truthfully, no one was surprised when Wonu chose that career path. His dad understood; after all, Wonwoo was his only omega son, so he never expected him to pursue something like medicine the way his older brother had. Meanwhile, his mom and sister were thrilled. For them it wasn’t just a professional decision—it almost felt like a tradition continuing, like all that knowledge passed down from one generation to another had found a new way to stay alive.
Both of them supported Wonwoo’s career, but of course nothing was simply handed to him. He had to work hard to get to where he was. By the time he graduated, his mom had already retired, so she couldn’t get him a position where she used to work. And his sister had moved to China for a while, so recommending him—or hiring him at the company she worked for—wasn’t really an option either. In the end, Wonwoo had to start almost from scratch, with a small portfolio, a few contacts, and a lot of patience.
Wonwoo started out doing makeup in theater, working to make actors and actresses look flawless for stage productions. Later, his team shifted a little toward film. He worked as a makeup artist on a short film by director Kim Jongkwan, and after that other small productions started reaching out to him.
The theater had been a great place to learn quickly. The lights were intense, sweat was unavoidable, and the makeup had to last for hours under the heat of the stage. That’s where Wonwoo developed a steady hand, the speed to work when someone had to go onstage in a matter of minutes, and the ability to transform a tired face into one that could be clearly seen from the very last row of the audience.
When he moved into film, things changed a bit. Cameras captured every tiny detail—every texture, every poorly blended shadow. It was no longer about exaggerating features, but about making the makeup look like it wasn’t even there. Natural, almost invisible. It was a completely different challenge, but also something he liked much more. He found it fascinating how a small correction could completely change the way someone looked on screen.
And then someone from his team invited him to work for an important agency. ICRA Entertainment was a company that debuted K-Pop groups and also had actors under their management. One of them was Kim Mingyu—probably the most handsome alpha in all of South Korea. Or maybe the most handsome in the world, at least according to Wonwoo.
When he first heard his name, he almost thought it was a joke. He had seen Mingyu’s face on TV far too many times to imagine that one day he’d actually be working with him directly.
He had already watched him in countless dramas. His mom, his sister, and even his friends loved him—they dreamed about having an alpha like him: tall, handsome, tanned, strong, brave… Of course, that image was heavily reinforced by the roles he played in all those stories everyone watched on television. He was the typical leading man who appeared on screen just in time to save someone, the one who ran through the rain to reach the person he loved, the one who looked imposing even when he was simply standing there, staring at another character with a serious expression.
But getting to know Mingyu in person was even better—Wonwoo knew that now. Although… most of the time he stayed quiet. The first time they met was really the only time Mingyu talked to him more than usual. He asked his name and welcomed him, because Gyu already knew he was one of the new makeup artists at the company.
Wonwoo remembered that moment perfectly. It had been on one of the agency’s filming sets, in a wide room where the makeup artists prepared the actors before they went on stage. He had been organizing his things, carefully lining up his brushes while trying not to look too nervous, when he heard footsteps approaching.
"You're Wonwoo, right?" The voice was calm and deep, much closer than he had expected.
When he looked up, Mingyu was standing right in front of him. Even without the character’s costume or the dramatic lighting from the set, he was still striking. Tall, broad shoulders, his hair slightly messy as if he had just run a hand through it, and that easy smile that seemed to come naturally to him.
"Yes…" Wonwoo replied, a little surprised that he knew his name.
"Welcome." Mingyu said with a small nod of his head, something simple but very polite. "I heard you're new to the team."
It was a short interaction, nothing extraordinary to anyone watching from the outside, but for Wonwoo it stayed clearly etched in his memory. Because after that, Mingyu simply sat down in front of the mirror like any other actor, waiting for them to start working… but the way he trusted the team, how easily he closed his eyes when someone had to get close to his face, how easy it was to work with him—that made Wonwoo quickly understand why everyone in the industry spoke so highly of Kim Mingyu.
After that, though, they didn’t really talk much. Whenever Mingyu came in for Wonwoo to do his makeup, he would just smile and say "Good morning," "Good afternoon," or sometimes even "Good evening," depending on the time they were working. Then he would sit in front of the mirror, close his eyes, and let Wonwoo do his job in peace.
It almost turned into a small, silent routine that repeated itself every time they ran into each other on set or in the agency’s dressing rooms. Mingyu always walked in with that same calm presence that seemed to follow him everywhere, greeting the staff politely before taking his place in front of the mirror surrounded by round lights that reflected both of them in the glass.
Wonu usually prepared his brushes while watching him through the mirror, noticing little details that maybe no one else paid attention to: the way Mingyu adjusted his shoulders when he sat down, the faint sigh he let out when he closed his eyes, like for a few minutes he could disconnect from the noise of work.
Sometimes they didn’t talk at all during the whole process. Wonwoo would apply primer, check his skin, spread foundation with soft, precise movements, and Mingyu would simply let him, trusting him as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Sometimes Wonu even took his time, just to admire Gyu up close—though he wasn’t sure if that was a little creepy. It wasn’t just that he liked his face; he liked the calm he felt whenever he was near him. Maybe it was his scent. His essence smelled like mango and sage, something warm and enveloping, like a scent that felt alive in the air.
The sweetness of the mango came first—ripe and juicy, with a tropical touch that felt comforting, almost like it radiated warmth. It wasn’t an overwhelming sweetness, but something deeper and softer, like fruit ripened under the sun. Then the sage followed, balancing everything with a drier herbal note, slightly earthy and steady, giving the scent character and presence.
That aroma seemed to linger around him even when Mingyu wasn’t particularly close. Sometimes Wonwoo could catch it faintly when the alpha entered the room, blending with the clean smell of makeup products. It was curious how an essence could say so much about someone. In Mingyu’s case, it felt warm, steady, safe—like it promised protection without needing to say a single word.
Wonwoo loved that scent. It calmed him, and maybe that was another reason why he loved working with him so much. That, and the fact that getting to know him away from a character in some drama was valuable too. Because Gyu was much quieter off camera. He was patient, kind, never raised his voice, never disrespected anyone.
In an industry where many people could become demanding—even difficult—Mingyu always seemed to stay the same. If the team took a little longer than planned, he simply waited. If someone made a mistake, he didn’t make unpleasant comments or show annoyance.
More than once, Wonwoo had seen him thank the team after a makeup session, standing up from the chair with a small smile and saying something like, "Thank you for your hard work," before heading to the set. It might have seemed like a simple gesture, but not every actor did that.
To Wonu, it was simply admirable. He was always happy to spend time around someone like Mingyu. And it was kind of funny too, because the two of them were the same age—though, of course, they had lived very different lives.
Kim Mingyu was still in high school when he started his career as a model. A different agency—not ICRA—had spotted him outside his school one afternoon and decided to recruit him. But Gyu had been clear from the very beginning: he didn’t want to be an idol. He wanted to be an actor. And that required a different kind of preparation.
According to what people at the agency said—and from a few interviews Wonwoo had watched out of curiosity—the recruiter had approached him almost by chance. Mingyu had just gotten out of class, still wearing his school uniform, when someone stopped him to ask if he had ever considered working as a model. It was the kind of story that sounded made up for a magazine: the tall, handsome boy discovered on the street. But in Mingyu’s case, it had actually happened.
So he started out just modeling, and at the same time he kept studying because he wanted to build a solid career in acting while his name slowly became more recognizable. Little by little, people started to recognize him from appearing in product ads or commercials.
During those early years, his face began to look familiar to a lot of people—even if they didn’t necessarily know who he was yet. He appeared in ads for drinks, sportswear, personal care products. His wide smile and tall frame made him stand out easily.
Even before graduating, he had already acted in a couple of dramas as an extra, and in another one he had a slightly bigger role with a few more lines—but he still hadn’t been the lead. Wonwoo remembered watching one of those dramas once with his mom. Mingyu only appeared in a few scenes, but even then he was easy to notice. He had a natural presence in front of the camera that made your eyes drift toward him almost without meaning to.
Right after he graduated, he landed a supporting role in a youth drama. Then he became the lead in another one, and just like that he turned into the actor of the moment. That youth drama, according to everyone at the agency, had been the turning point. Suddenly his name started appearing everywhere. Ratings went up, social media filled with comments about him, and producers began reaching out with new projects.
By that point Mingyu barely had time to breathe. He would finish filming one drama and immediately start recording another. He wasn’t just acting in commercials anymore—he was now a brand ambassador for companies like Snickers, Dior, and Bvlgari. Everyone wanted to see him, everyone wanted to work with him. He was an alpha who radiated charisma and talent.
Even on the sets where Wonwoo worked, the difference was noticeable whenever Mingyu was around. There were more photographers, more crew members, more movement all around.
And yet, despite all that success, when he sat down in front of the mirror to get his makeup done, he was still the same calm Mingyu who closed his eyes and said "Good morning" with a soft smile. For a few minutes, it was almost like he stopped being the star everyone recognized and just became another member of the team there to do his job.
When he wasn’t working, he had a very calm, peaceful aura—and Wonu loved that about him. He was always easy to do makeup on because he didn’t need much. Wonwoo only had to enhance his expressions a little more for the camera—there were no imperfections to cover, nothing like that. And Mingyu always stayed still. He never checked his phone while getting his makeup done. He paid attention when Wonwoo needed him to tilt his head, gave him space to work, stayed quiet when necessary—especially when Wonwoo had to do his lips. It was perfect. Wonu could work in peace.
Those kinds of things were small, almost insignificant for anyone who didn’t work in makeup—but for Wonwoo they made all the difference. Some actors constantly checked their phones between every step. Others talked nonstop even when he was trying to apply something delicate near their eyes. Some moved too much or seemed impatient to finish.
Mingyu wasn’t like that. From the moment he sat in front of the mirror, he seemed to understand exactly how that space worked, as if he naturally respected the work of the team around him.
Sometimes he even looked like he relaxed during the process. His shoulders loosened slightly, his breathing slowed while Wonwoo applied product with soft movements, as if those few minutes in front of the mirror were a small pause before going back to the cameras, the noise of the set, the director’s instructions, and the scenes he had to film.
"All done…" Wonwoo murmured when he finished Mingyu’s makeup—just enough to keep his face from shining on camera and to give his gaze a bit more intensity.
He had worked with his usual precision. A light layer of foundation to even out the tone, just enough to control shine in the T-zone, something very subtle to define the brows a little more and slightly darken the lash line. Nothing exaggerated—just enough for the cameras to capture his features better and make his expression look stronger on screen.
Gyu opened his eyes and looked at himself in the mirror, blinking a couple of times as he adjusted to the bright lights surrounding the frame. Then he tilted his head slightly to one side, then the other, studying his reflection carefully while a small smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you, Wonwoo," he said softly, meeting his eyes.
The tone of his voice was relaxed and sincere, like he truly appreciated the work. Wonwoo only looked at him for a second before glancing away toward his brushes. He knew that if he stared for too long, Mingyu would probably notice, so he focused on closing a few bottles and putting things back into his case. He just smiled a little and nodded.
Right then, someone opened the door. The sound of the handle breaking the quiet of the dressing room made both of them look toward the entrance. It was one of the production assistants, a woman who always seemed to be moving quickly, like she was constantly running around making sure the schedule stayed on track.
"Mingyu, are you ready?" she asked, leaning into the doorway.
Mingyu nodded almost immediately. "Of course. You know Wonwoo always has me ready on time," Gyu replied with a smile.
He stood up from the chair naturally, adjusting his shirt a little as he lightly rolled his shoulders, like he was mentally preparing himself to get back to work. The warm scent of mango and sage shifted slightly in the air when he passed by Wonwoo. Then he simply left the room, following the assistant toward the set to start filming.
Wonwoo stayed in front of the mirror for a few more seconds, calmly finishing packing his things away. He wiped one of his brushes against a small towel before placing it carefully back in its spot inside the case. He was just about to close his bag when the same assistant appeared at the door again.
"Oh, right—good thing you're still here, Wonwoo. Could you help us cover for someone? We need to do makeup for a K-Pop group, but one of the makeup artists didn’t show up. Do you think you could help with that? Of course we’ll pay you overtime, okay?" the assistant said.
Wonwoo looked up at her. It wasn’t unusual for them to ask for extra help. In a company that big, there were always several projects happening at the same time—photo shoots, filming, promotions, rehearsals, performances. If someone was absent or something got delayed, the team had to reorganize quickly. Besides, overtime never hurt.
"Sure. Can I grab something to eat first and then report back to help?" he asked, because he was starting to feel his stomach getting empty.
He had been working since early morning and had barely had time for a coffee. He glanced at the time on his phone for a moment. It was around three in the afternoon. There was still plenty of the day left.
The assistant simply nodded, clearly busy with other things. "Yeah, of course. Take about twenty minutes and then head to Studio B—they’re getting everything ready there."
And with that, she hurried back down the hallway, disappearing just as quickly as she had arrived. Wonwoo finished closing his case with a small sigh, slinging it over his shoulder before leaving the dressing room.
The agency’s hallway was full of movement—people walking back and forth, staff members talking on the phone, a few idols passing by with their managers.
As he walked toward the exit of the dressing room area, he started thinking about what he could grab quickly before going back to work. Something simple, maybe a kimbap or a sandwich from the building’s cafeteria. He just hoped the K-Pop group wasn’t too big. Because doing makeup for idols usually meant working fast… and going through a lot of faces in a row.
𓍯𓂃𓂃𓂃
Wonwoo had seriously underestimated working with idols. There were only eight of them, but the agency had decided to film and photograph all the concepts in a single day. That meant Wonu had to do makeup for three of the members four different times for the various concepts. It took hours—waiting around, fixing things between shoots, starting over while they took photos. It was kind of a mess… though in the end, everything turned out fine.
At first, he’d thought it wouldn’t be that exhausting. Eight idols sounded manageable, especially since there were several makeup artists working with them. But production decided to squeeze every possible concept into the schedule: the bright, youthful one, the dark concept, the elegant look, the sporty theme. Every change meant different makeup, new hairstyles, constant touch-ups between takes and photo sessions.
Wonu ended up in charge of three of the members, and every time someone shouted "concept change," he basically had to start from scratch. Clean everything off, prep the skin again, switch colors, adjust shadows, change highlights. Sometimes he barely had fifteen minutes before the photographer called the guys back.
Between takes, there was a lot of waiting too. The idols would come back sweaty from the lights, their makeup slightly smudged, and he’d have to fix it quickly while managers talked to the staff and stylists rushed to change their outfits. It was organized chaos.
Music was playing in the background almost the entire time, staff members running around the studio, camera flashes going off nonstop, and the eight guys moving back and forth between sets with different backdrops.
Still, in the middle of all that chaos, it had actually been interesting. He didn’t get to experiment with colors like that very often. He used bolder eyeliner, shimmery shadows, even small graphic details that usually weren’t used in the dramas where he worked with actors.
He had enjoyed it, honestly. But by the time they finished, his shoulders were tense and his feet hurt from standing for so many hours. It was already one in the morning when the team finally started packing everything up. And the worst part was realizing he had left his things back on the set where he usually did makeup, so he had to go back for them. God… it was so late.
Wonwoo checked the time on his phone as he walked through the almost-empty hallway of the agency. The lights were dimmer at that hour, many offices were already closed, and the noise that had filled the building during the day had faded into a quiet calm, broken only occasionally by a staff member finishing up some last task.
He wasn’t going to make the last train home anymore. He’d probably have to call a taxi, and those were pretty expensive. He sighed as he headed back to his usual set to grab his bags and leave. He was tired—the kind of heavy exhaustion that sits behind your eyes after too many hours working under bright lights.
When he reached the door, he pushed it open gently. He stepped into the dressing room where he always did makeup. It was dark, so he switched on the light. And when the room lit up, Mingyu was there. Wonwoo nearly jumped when he saw him. He hadn’t expected that at all.
The alpha was sitting on the sofa in one corner of the dressing room, leaning slightly forward with something in his hands. When the light came on, Wonwoo could see it clearly. It was his sweater. Mingyu was pressing Wonwoo’s sweater against his nose.
"Mingyu? Are you okay?" he asked. But his senses realized what was happening before he could even get an answer. Gyu’s scent was stronger. Much stronger.
The warm aroma of mango and sage that usually surrounded him was now thick in the air, dense and intense. And beneath it there was something else—a different note, almost spicy, a kind of heat that lingered at the base of the scent. A very clear sign that he wasn’t in his normal state.
Mingyu stood up from the sofa and rushed toward Wonwoo at an almost unbelievable speed. He reached him in just a few steps and wrapped his arms around him so tightly that Wonwoo took a small step back in surprise.
Wonu definitely hadn’t expected that. He was startled—almost scared—but he didn’t need a biology class to understand what was happening. And the worst part was that his own body was already reacting to Gyu’s scent. His mind was slowly being overtaken by instinct.
"Wonwoo…" Mingyu whispered next to his ear.
His voice was lower than usual, slightly rough. Then he started sniffing there, slowly moving until he reached the gland where Wonwoo’s scent came from. Gyu inhaled deeply, and the strength of it sent a shiver running through Wonwoo’s entire body. Mingyu was in rut. There was no doubt about it.
He wasn’t fully in his right mind—but even so, he had recognized Wonwoo. He had still called him by name. And Wonu was nervous, because his body was reacting to Gyu’s rut in a way that didn’t usually happen. It wasn’t something that could happen with just any alpha.
Maybe it was just because he actually liked Mingyu. It could also be that the two of them were already used to each other’s scent from working together so often and so closely. Yeah… maybe that was it.
But Gyu wasn’t letting go of him. And he wouldn’t stop sniffing him. Wonwoo grew more nervous with every second because this was absolutely not the right time or place for Mingyu to be in rut. But Mingyu’s breathing—which at first had been wild, unsteady, fast and shallow—was slowly starting to calm down. Was it because of Wonwoo? God… was it his scent?
Wonu’s scent was pear and mint—soft and fresh, a fragrance that felt light at first but lingered clearly and pleasantly in the air. The pear added a delicate sweetness, juicy and clean, like freshly cut fruit, a soft and gentle note. Over that came the mint, crisp and refreshing, leaving behind an almost cool sensation that cleared the air and made the whole scent feel brighter.
Together, the two notes created a calm, elegant fragrance—sweet without being heavy, fresh without being overwhelming. Like a soft breeze that refreshes the air without forcing itself on anyone, but inevitably catches attention when someone gets close enough to notice it.
And now that scent seemed to mix with Mingyu’s in the closed dressing room. The warm mango. The deep sage. The soft pear. The cool mint. A strangely harmonious combination that filled the space between them while Mingyu continued clinging to him, breathing slower and slower, as if he had finally found something that calmed him down.
But a moment later, Gyu pulled away from his body and looked him straight in the eyes. His were tinted a bright green. The change in Mingyu’s eyes was obvious under the white lights of the dressing room. That intense, luminous green looked almost unnatural compared to the warm gaze he usually had. It wasn’t exactly aggressive—but it was filled with something more primitive, something that made it clear the alpha was fighting against his instincts.
Even so, there was no anger on his face. Only need. A strong need that seemed to push everything else out of his mind. Wonwoo swallowed, trying to stay calm. He had read about this, of course. All omegas learned about it when they were young. When an alpha went into rut and couldn’t control it, their pheromones became much stronger, more dominant—and they could affect nearby omegas if there was compatibility between them.
"Mingyu, calm down, okay? Do you want me to take you to your omega? Do you want me to take you home?" he asked gently. He tried to keep his voice soft and steady, like he was talking to someone who was sick or exhausted.
Mingyu shook his head. It was a slow movement, but firm. "I want you," Mingyu answered. He said it seriously—without hesitation, without looking away from him.
And Wonu felt like he might start crying, or faint, or maybe his knees would just give out. He didn’t know. He didn’t know if he was floating or standing on the ground anymore… he had no idea. Mingyu’s pheromones were affecting him.
The air in the dressing room felt heavier and hotter by the second, as if every breath carried more of the intense scent of ripe mango and burning sage into his lungs. His heart started beating faster before he could stop it.
But he had to stay strong, stronger than that. He could help… right? No—yes. He could help. But he couldn’t help while staying there. Someone from the company could find them, and that would definitely turn into a scandal. They could both get fired, and that was the last thing Wonwoo wanted.
News spread fast in places like that. A famous actor in the middle of rut with an omega makeup artist in a dressing room… it would be exactly the kind of story that could destroy careers. But Mingyu looked almost possessed, and Wonu understood why—rut did that, especially to alphas. It made them lose their heads.
Wonwoo looked him in the eyes and grabbed him by the shoulders. God. Gyu’s skin was so hot that the heat seeped through his clothes and into the omega’s palms. It felt like touching something that had been sitting under the sun for too long.
"Let’s do something, okay, Min?"
And oh… calling him Min had an immediate effect on the alpha. Mingyu closed his eyes and let out a soft sound from his throat—a low, barely audible groan—but it was enough to make the hair on Wonwoo’s arms stand up instantly.
Wonwoo almost lost his breath. Though maybe that was for the best, because if he kept breathing in Gyu’s scent—so addictive—he might lose his head too.
"What we’re going to do…" Wonu continued when Mingyu didn’t answer right away. He tried to organize his thoughts while speaking, forcing himself to focus on something logical, something practical. "What we’re going to do is go somewhere private. I’m going to help you with your rut and… we’ll be fine, okay? But we can’t do it here, Min…"
The name worked again. Mingyu hugged him tightly. Very tightly. His large body wrapped around Wonwoo once more, pressing him against his warm chest while he buried his face near his neck like he needed to breathe in his scent again.
"Yes… I’ll help you, but we need to go somewhere else," Wonwoo murmured softly, trying to stay calm while speaking close to his ear.
Then, as if he had understood the instruction automatically, Mingyu loosened his grip. Almost on instinct, he slipped a hand into his pants pocket, pulled out the key to his truck, and placed it in the omega’s hands. The cold metal contrasted sharply with the heat still lingering on Wonwoo’s skin.
Now Wonwoo wondered if he should take him to Gyu’s house to help him there—or, on the contrary, bring him back to his small bachelor apartment and… No. Mingyu’s house would probably offer more privacy. It was likely bigger, more isolated, maybe in a neighborhood with fewer neighbors or even private security.
His own apartment was small, with thin walls and far too curious neighbors. If anything got out of control—if the pheromones got too strong, if someone heard something strange—it would be a disaster.
Despite everything, Wonwoo was still thinking. He still had some common sense left. He tightened his fingers around the truck keys. "Then I’ll follow your directions, okay, Min?"
The other man simply nodded. His eyes were still glowing that intense shade of green, but his expression seemed a little calmer now that he was close to him. Then he took Wonwoo’s hand. His fingers were large and warm around his, firm but not rough—as if even in that state, his body still remembered not to hurt him. And like that, hand in hand, they began walking out of the dressing room and into the quiet hallway of the agency.
𓍯𓂃𓂃𓂃
Mingyu liked Wonwoo a lot. He had liked him from the very first time he saw him. He had found him incredibly attractive—so beautiful. Wonwoo was an omega with a delicate, unique kind of beauty, but it was also a beauty that felt surprisingly strong. He looked sweet, yes, and pretty too, but maybe it was his height, or maybe those feline-like eyes, that gave him something extra that made him stand out.
He wasn’t just pretty—he was almost ethereal, if Gyu tried to describe it. There was something about Wonwoo that made him seem almost unreal sometimes, especially when he was focused on his work.
The way he tilted his head slightly while studying someone’s face, the way he held his brushes between his fingers with such precision, as if every movement was perfectly measured. Even under the harsh white lights of the dressing rooms—which usually made everyone look worse—his skin still looked soft and clear, and he had that calm presence that seemed to surround him.
But Mingyu also knew he had fallen in love. The attraction had been there from the moment he first saw him—ever since that omega’s scent had filled his senses too. Pear and mint. Something fresh and juicy, almost wild. Mingyu couldn’t remember ever smelling a scent like that before, at least not for a long time. Most omegas he knew had sweet, floral scents or something overly soft—fragrances that faded quickly or blended together. Wonwoo’s didn’t.
The pear appeared first—clean and delicate, like freshly cut fruit. Something juicy that awakened the senses without being heavy. Then the mint followed, crisp and refreshing, almost cold, like a breeze that cleared your mind instantly. It was a combination that wasn’t just pleasant—it was surprisingly stimulating, something that made Mingyu want to breathe in again just to catch it more clearly.
And the best part of that scent was how it calmed him. It grounded him, made him feel steady again. Sometimes it even gave him a little boost of energy. Every time he walked into the dressing room and saw him there, calm, with that shy smile… God, he loved even that about him.
There were particularly exhausting days when Mingyu arrived on set after filming difficult scenes or spending hours under the sun. When he opened the dressing room door and caught that fresh scent, he could feel something inside him relax immediately.
Then he’d look up—and there was Wonwoo. Always organizing something, cleaning a brush, checking his makeup case. And when he saw Mingyu walk in, that small smile would appear on his face.
Wonu was a different kind of omega because of how respectfully he treated Mingyu. He wasn’t like most of the omegas the alpha knew. Honestly, many of them were far too bold. Everywhere the actor went, they practically threw themselves at his feet, confessing to him almost immediately.
Mingyu had gotten used to that kind of situation. It had happened too many times. At events, during photoshoots, even inside the agency itself. There were omegas who barely knew him and were already trying to get his attention in very obvious ways.
Mingyu had politely rejected quite a few omegas he even worked with. Before Wonwoo arrived, some of his makeup artists had been disrespectful—flirting with him, sometimes making comments so out of place that all he could do was laugh awkwardly and shake his head. He had learned to handle it with patience: a polite smile, a light comment, changing the subject. But often it made him uncomfortable.
Wonwoo had never treated him like that. He was always respectful. He worked quietly, but he would smile softly every time Mingyu walked into the dressing room. He was dedicated to his work, never touching him longer than necessary, never asking questions about his personal life or whether he had a partner, never flirting with him. He was very reserved.
And Mingyu loved that about him. It was refreshing. It was… sincere. With Wonwoo, he never felt like he was being seen as a celebrity or a trophy. He was just another person sitting in the makeup chair.
Though the very thing that made him fall so deeply for him was also the reason he thought he couldn’t make a move. Maybe Mingyu just wasn’t Wonwoo’s type. Maybe Wonwoo didn’t find him attractive at all. He had never given him any hints or signals…
Although Gyu had noticed that Wonu’s scent sometimes grew a little stronger when he was close. Still, he just blamed that on how often they worked near each other. He didn’t let himself get his hopes up. Wonwoo might even already be married.
What alpha would let someone like him slip away? With a scent like that, with how beautiful he was, with how kind he behaved. Mingyu had even seen him a couple of times helping an elderly woman near the ICRA Entertainment building—walking her to the train, or giving her an apple or a bottle of water.
He had seen it himself. And it had melted his heart. It had been completely by chance. One afternoon, Mingyu was leaving the building after finishing a shoot when he saw him across the street. Wonwoo was talking to an elderly woman who seemed to be having trouble walking. The omega was gently holding her by the arm while they slowly made their way toward the nearby station. Another time, he saw him pull something out of his backpack and hand it to her—an apple. The woman smiled widely when she received it. Wonwoo was a good person. Kind.
Sometimes Mingyu wanted to offer to drive him home. He wanted to take a step further. But he never did, because he was afraid Wonwoo would reject him. Even though he knew he could probably win over almost any omega he wanted, Wonu wasn’t just anyone.
And the truth was, Mingyu had never told anyone how much he liked Wonwoo. He kept it hidden… although once, after Wonwoo had done his makeup and Mingyu had to leave the agency for an event, something slipped. He was in the car with his manager when she noticed.
Alphas had especially sharp senses when it came to scents, and Mingyu’s manager was no exception. "Are you seeing an omega?" she asked seriously, sniffing the air slightly.
Of course… Wonwoo’s scent was all over Mingyu. Not because anything had happened between them, but simply because he had been so close to him during the makeup session. His hands, his clothes, even his neck had absorbed some of that fresh scent.
"No…" he replied, avoiding the alpha woman’s gaze.
"But you like him, right? Otherwise you wouldn’t let his scent cling to you like that—and strong enough to be noticeable even over your own." Gyu let out a small laugh at that.
He leaned back a little in the car seat while looking out the window. "Maybe… yeah. I like him a little," he admitted.
The manager shook her head. "You’re not planning to tell him, are you? You know that would complicate quite a few things…" She sighed. "Fans might be disappointed. The media would have something to talk about…"
And Mingyu knew what the consequences of having a partner could be. He knew how the industry worked. He knew how quickly rumors could turn into headlines. But that didn’t mean he didn’t want it.
During his ruts, the agency hired support omegas who specialized in that kind of work. They came from agencies with strict confidentiality contracts and worked with actors, actresses, idols… because everyone knew it was far more dangerous to rely on suppressants than to simply let the rut run its course.
Within the industry, it was actually pretty common—even if nobody talked about it openly. Large agencies preferred to handle those situations in a controlled and discreet way, especially with talents who had schedules as busy as Mingyu’s. Suppressants could work for a while, but they also had serious side effects if used too often. They disrupted the body, destabilized hormones, and in some cases could cause even more intense ruts afterward.
That’s why those specialized agencies existed: professional omegas who signed strict confidentiality agreements and were trained to handle those situations with complete discretion. They knew how to calm an alpha during rut without forming emotional attachments, without getting involved beyond what was necessary. It was a cold service—almost clinical—but effective.
But Mingyu didn’t really like using support omegas during those days because… his mind always wandered. He always ended up thinking about Wonwoo. Wanting him. Longing for him. He wanted him.
Every time he found himself in one of those situations, his mind inevitably drifted back to the same place—to Wonwoo’s calm eyes reflected in the dressing room mirror, to his quiet voice saying "All done" when he finished doing his makeup, to that fresh scent that always seemed to linger in the space between them.
And then everything else felt… wrong. Like his body was trying to satisfy an instinct while his mind was asking for something completely different.
Even so, Gyu always kept an eye on his rut. But that time it had been delayed. He had been under a lot of stress—too many shoots, photoshoots, events… his schedule was packed. For weeks his calendar had been completely full. Late-night filming, photoshoots that lasted for hours under intense lights, interviews, appearances on shows, promotional events. There were days when he barely slept a few hours before having to sit in the makeup chair again and show up in front of cameras.
He had set aside a couple of days around the time his rut was supposed to happen. Luckily, it only occurred for two days every three months. But he was surprised when he realized he wasn’t showing a single symptom. Everything felt normal, so during those days he worked, got ahead on a few things, and figured maybe the rut had just been pushed back a week. That sometimes happened when the body was under too much stress.
Even that afternoon, when he arrived on set and went to the dressing room to change into the outfit for the photoshoot, and then to the makeup room so Wonwoo could do his makeup, Gyu didn’t have any symptoms. No fever. No constant restless arousal. Everything felt normal. The photoshoot ended around 6 PM, but then he had an interview for a magazine and later recorded more content. By the time he finished everything, it was already past midnight.
That was when he tried to relax… but instead he started feeling even more tense. His heart was beating like crazy, and when he went back to the dressing room to change into something comfortable before heading home, he was already sweating. His temperature had risen, and deep in his stomach he could feel something pushing, tightening.
The feeling came all at once. First the heat, then the racing pulse. His skin became overly sensitive, his breathing started getting heavier, and the strong scent of his own essence slowly began seeping into the air.
Without even thinking, he walked into the makeup room—and that’s when he saw Wonu’s sweater resting on the couch inside. Mingyu’s instinct made him step closer and breathe in the scent that clung to the fabric. God. The pear and mint relaxed him for a moment… but they also stirred something wild inside him, something that made him lose control.
It was like that scent had triggered something even deeper within him. The fresh sweetness of pear wrapped around his mind, while the mint cut through his senses with that almost cold clarity that made him crave more. More air, more of that scent, more of him.
He lay down on the couch and tangled himself in the sweater, rubbing against the fabric slightly. God, he wanted him. He needed him. Please… if only he would appear, if only Wonwoo would be bold for once and give him a sign…
The sweater still held a faint warmth from Wonwoo’s body—or maybe it was just his imagination heightened by the rut. But to Mingyu, it felt real. He clutched the fabric like it was the only thing keeping him sane in the middle of that storm of sensations.
And then, maybe God really had heard him, because the moment Wonu opened the door, Gyu felt unbelievably happy. Like a dream made real. An illusion he had imagined so many times that it had somehow turned into reality.
When Wonwoo softly said his name, Mingyu felt like he might go crazy. He moved closer and breathed in that blessed scent he loved so much, the one that always calmed him. The effect was immediate.
But in that state, smelling Wonu didn’t calm him at all. If anything, it made things worse. His instincts crashed over him—he needed everything, wanted everything, craved everything. Everything from Wonwoo. Only Wonwoo. Gyu had probably never wanted an omega this badly before, had never been this in love.
Desire and relief collided inside him at the same time. Wonwoo’s presence soothed something deep in his chest… but it also set everything else on fire.
And Wonu was still kind. He had suggested taking him to his partner—but there was no partner. He wanted to help him, and even though he hadn’t explained exactly how he planned to help, Mingyu would have accepted anything he offered. Any small piece of attention Wonwoo was willing to give him.
So he handed over the keys to his truck. Then, still tangled in Wonwoo’s sweater, holding his hand, he entered his home address into the GPS, trembling. Mingyu’s fingers barely seemed to obey him. The phone almost slipped from his grasp a couple of times as he tried to unlock it, his large hands slightly clumsy from the tension running through his body. His breathing was still heavy and uneven, and every now and then his grip on Wonwoo’s hand tightened a little more, like he needed to confirm the omega was really there.
Wonwoo felt the tremor in his hand while watching out of the corner of his eye as the alpha managed to open the map and type in his address with slow, careful movements. The GPS made a soft sound confirming the route, and the screen briefly illuminated the dark interior of the truck.
The scent of mango and sage still filled the small space of the vehicle, blending more and more with Wonwoo’s pear and mint. It made the air feel thicker. Warmer, almost electric.
"Should we notify the agency about your rut? Should we tell someone you’ll be absent?" Wonu asked, concerned, though his voice remained soft.
He was trying to stay focused on the practical side of things, on what needed to be done to avoid problems later. Even though inside his mind was still trying to process everything that was happening, he forced himself to act calmly, as if everything could be handled one step at a time.
Mingyu couldn’t think properly. His mind kept repeating the same thing: Wonwoo, Wonwoo, Wonwoo… The name echoed in his head over and over again, pushing every other thought out of the way. The only thing he managed to do was unlock his phone again, open KakaoTalk, and hand it to Wonu.
Wonwoo took it carefully, noticing how the alpha’s fingers lingered on it a moment longer than necessary, as if even that small act of letting go was difficult for him in that state. He had to pull the truck over before reaching the apartment complex to check it. In Mingyu’s pinned chats was Miss Lee, Mingyu’s manager. Her name appeared right at the top of the list.
Wonu didn’t read any messages. He simply typed: I won’t be available. My rut started.
His fingers moved quickly across the keyboard before sending the message. He didn’t want to snoop through Mingyu’s private life, not even by accident. He already felt like he was crossing enough boundaries that night.
He immediately closed the app. He wasn’t going to invade Gyu’s privacy. He was there to help him, to do the right thing. And then he realized something else. He would also have to miss work. What excuse could he possibly give?
The thought came to him suddenly as he started the truck again and followed the route the GPS had set. He didn’t even know how long Mingyu’s rut lasted. For some alphas it was only two days, but others took up to a week before they could regain control of their instincts. A week?
The idea made him tense slightly behind the wheel. How was he supposed to explain that at work? He didn’t only take care of Mingyu, after all. So… could he report himself as sick? No, he’d need a doctor’s note to justify the absence. Could he use his vacation days? God…
Honestly, he was almost willing to do that. But sometimes they required vacation time to be requested at least a week in advance. The steering wheel felt solid beneath his hands as he ran through all those possibilities, each one sounding more complicated than the last.
But well, he had to hurry. Maybe he wouldn’t even need to stay with Mingyu, right? Maybe he would just need to help him stabilize, make sure he was safe at home, and then…
But the phone vibrated in his hand. The sudden buzz pulled him out of his thoughts. Miss Lee had replied: Alright, I’ll notify them. You know who to call. Wonwoo read the message silently. And… Wonu didn’t think Gyu was in any condition to know who to call right now.
When he glanced toward the passenger seat, Mingyu was leaning slightly toward him, eyes half-lidded, breathing deeply as if he were following the trail of Wonwoo’s scent in the air like it was the only thing keeping his mind anchored to something. He definitely didn’t look like someone capable of checking his contacts or making calls at that moment.

Getting into Mingyu's house wasn't that tough. Wonwoo slipped into the garage quietly. He got out on the driver's side and hurried around to the passenger side to grab him, moving fast but careful, like he was scared any little noise might make Mingyu's state even worse. He opened the door, and the alpha barely glanced at him, his eyes still glowing that crazy intense green that looked almost fake under the garage light. When Wonwoo took his hand, Mingyu's fingers clamped down on his with this instinctive grip, warm and needy.
The alpha let himself be led without a peep, no arguments, just trailing behind like his body had decided Wonwoo was the only way to go right then. But finding the keys to the front door was a pain—Mingyu's pockets were a mess, and his hands shook every time he tried to fish them out. Wonwoo had to step in, patting down the fabric of his pants until he finally got them.
Once they were inside the foyer and the door clicked shut behind them, Gyu yanked Wonu against him with this pent-up urgency that had clearly been building since they pulled up. It wasn't rough, but it was solid, unavoidable, like his body had been waiting for exactly that second to make its move. He sniffed him again, deep and slow, like he was trying to suck in every last bit of his scent.
He dragged his nose from Wonwoo's shoulder up to his neck, taking his time, like he was mapping out every inch of his skin, every hint of his smell. He paused right under his jaw and let out this long, deep sigh, like he'd struck gold just with his nose—like that scent was exactly what his body had been craving since his heat kicked off.
Mingyu's breath hit Wonwoo's skin, warm and damp, ragged at times, and the omega's body was already reacting without his say-so. It was automatic, something he couldn't fully control even if his brain was fighting to stay sharp.
Truth was, this had never happened to him before—not even with his exes' ruts had he felt this... ready. Even when they were deep in it, even when things called for getting close, he'd never had this kind of heat racing over his skin so soon, so fast, like his own body was tuning into Mingyu before his mind could catch up.
And he wasn't even close to his own peak arousal yet—not by a long shot—but the way the alpha was breathing against his neck, how their scents were mixing together, it was waking something up under his skin, slow and steady.
For now, it was just a faint warmth under his skin, a tingle spreading out from his chest down his arms, and damn, he wanted to help Gyu out personally, do something to ease all that tension he could feel radiating off the alpha's whole body.
But he also remembered Miss Lee's message... You know who to call. So... did Mingyu have a partner? Had they assigned someone just for this, to make sure he didn't go through his rut with anyone random? It made sense in their industry, especially for a guy like Mingyu—with his public image, he probably couldn't just vanish for days without some kind of setup.
Without realizing it, Wonu was already stroking the alpha's hair while he kept sniffing that pear-and-mint scent of his, fingers sliding slow through the dark strands like his body was calling the shots before his brain could hit the brakes. Mingyu's hair was soft, a little messed up from the drive, and every time his fingers moved, the alpha seemed to loosen up just a bit, tilting his head closer to Wonwoo's neck.
And yeah, he knew Mingyu might not be fully with it yet—that his head was probably ruled by the start of his rut and instincts he couldn't rein in—but Wonwoo needed to clear things up before he... actually helped, because this could be crossing a line he wasn't sure about, maybe stepping into something he shouldn't.
"Wonwoo... I want you..." Gyu whispered against his skin, voice low and rough, vibrating right into his neck and making the omega's pulse kick into overdrive, pounding hard in his chest.
Wonu didn't say a word for a moment. His mind went blank for a beat, caught between shock and the heat starting to spread through his body. Finally, he grabbed the alpha's hand, lacing their fingers together, and took a few steps deeper into the house, hunting for the living room—or at least that's what he hoped he'd find once he got past the entryway. Standing in the foyer with Mingyu glued to his neck sure as hell wasn't helping him think straight.
First thing he found was the living room, big and open, lit soft by warm ceiling lamps. It was huge, with a wide sofa, a low coffee table, and floor-to-ceiling windows that probably flooded the place with light during the day. Of course Mingyu's house was like four times the size of Wonwoo's apartment, and that thought flashed through his head for a second, but he wasn't there to size things up—not the time to dwell on that stuff.
They sat on the sofa—or more like Wonwoo sat first, and Mingyu scooted right up next to him, way too close, leaning into his side again like even those few inches were too much for his instincts. Mingyu's eyes were still that glowing green, his body temp still cranked high, so much that Wonwoo could feel the heat pouring off him even through their clothes.
His rut might not have hit full throttle yet—definitely still some control there, he could talk, move without totally losing it—but deep down in the one clear corner of his mind, Mingyu knew if Wonwoo gave the green light, if they kissed, if he got consent, he'd snap. He'd finally let go completely, drown in Wonwoo, his scent, his warmth, everything his body had been craving for way too long without saying it out loud.
Right now, his instincts just needed closeness, needed to be wrapped in the omega's scent, that reassurance that seemed to dial back the fire building inside him. His brain was half lost in a heat haze, half stunned by how real this was.
Was Wonwoo really here with him? Had Wonwoo actually driven him home, held him the whole way, and now he was just letting him sniff his scent while marking him with his own, so close to his gland, so close to that spot no alpha in rut could ignore?
Gyu didn't want to blow this chance, so he paused for a second, pulled back from sniffing like he was forcing his instincts to chill just enough to let his brain catch up. He took a deep breath, holding himself in check, and locked eyes with him instead.
Their faces were so close there was barely any space between them, breaths mingling. Mingyu's green eyes glowed intense, still lit up from the start of his heat, but behind that shine was something clearer, something fighting to stay sharp.
Still, he had the willpower not to just go off instinct or impulse, even if every bit of him was screaming to close the gap right then. He smiled soft, a little shaky but real. "Wonwoo, can I kiss you?" he asked, voice lower than usual, like he was scared to shatter the moment by talking too loud.
Wonu smiled back too, a small one that started at the corner of his mouth and lit up his eyes, but he didn't say yes yet. "Hold on, Mingyu—are you still with it? Can you... tell me if you have a partner? Where's your omega or... whoever usually helps you out? Miss Lee said you knew who to call, so I wanna make sure you do that," he explained calmly, even though his heart was racing from how close they were, from the heat still rolling off Mingyu's body.
Gyu's smile faded right then, not sharp, but slow, like the question had yanked him back to a reality he'd rather dodge. "There's no one, no one... nothing," he said after a beat, shaking his head gently. "When the rut hits, I call an omega agency that does it discreet—like a service—but I don't want that, Wonwoo. I want you, Wonwoo..." And before he could hold back any more, he pulled him into a hug.
He pressed him tight against his chest, not rough but with this deep, desperate need, like he was scared Wonwoo might vanish if he didn't hold on firm. His face buried just a bit into the omega's shoulder while his mind looped the same plea over and over: please, Wonwoo, stay, please.
Then Wonwoo cupped Mingyu's face with both hands, holding it gentle but steady, making him look up again. His fingers rested on the alpha's warm cheeks, and without another word, he kissed him.
That was the moment everything went out the window. Gyu dove into the kiss without a second thought, like the last wall between his brain and his instincts crumbled the second Wonwoo's lips met his.
His mouth claimed Wonu's with an intensity even he didn't see coming, leaning in, pouring out all that pent-up force. But damn, finally, that dream he'd had since the first time he laid eyes on Wonwoo was turning real.
He kissed him hard, like there was no tomorrow, like it was his last shot ever, like he had to make every second count before reality crashed back in. Wonwoo held his face at first, fingers steady on his skin, but Mingyu shifted up slow, taking charge, caging Wonu in with his arms, leaning over him so their bodies pressed closer, the heat between them cranking up wherever they touched.
He was desperate, yeah, but holy shit, this was the best kiss of his life. Wonwoo's taste was addictive in a way that shocked him even mid-rut. Soft, warm, familiar in some way he couldn't put into words, like he'd always wanted to know exactly how this would feel.
It was everything he wanted to taste forever, everything he craved to feel over and over. He liked it so much he couldn't focus on anything but that mouth, the way it answered his, how Wonwoo's lips moved against his without pulling back.
Because Wonwoo was kissing back hungry. At first his head was swirling with questions, doubts, worries about what the hell was happening, but the second the kiss went deeper, something in him gave way too.
For a second, he couldn't believe he was kissing Kim Mingyu, that he was right there, so close, holding him with that raw intensity. This guy he'd liked for so long—not just 'cause he was a famous actor, hot as hell, and the alpha pretty much everyone drooled over.
But because he knew Mingyu was kind, solid, chill. He'd caught those little gestures no one else seemed to notice, heard how calm he got away from the cameras, seen that real side that never showed up in interviews or events.
He had both sides of the coin. The privilege of seeing all of Mingyu's layers—the ones the public knew and the ones that slipped out when the actor let his guard down. And now he was about to see another one, way rawer, more primal, one that'd probably leave him breathless, for real.
Their clothes were already getting in the way, not because anyone was yanking them off yet, but because the heat between them made every layer feel heavier, tighter than usual. Especially since Gyu's fever was spreading to Wonu's whole body, like his high temp was seeping in slow through every spot they touched.
Wonwoo knew that wasn't normal. He knew damn well—he'd been with alphas before, dealt with stuff like this, and his body had never fired up this fast. Again, no ex had ever done this to him, never sparked that instant readiness, that pull to get closer instead of backing off. But with Mingyu? He was all in.
His own body was starting to feel feverish too, like a soft heat was building under his skin, spreading slow from his chest down to his stomach. His breaths got deeper, a little ragged, and his belly was stirring with that familiar ache.
He was turned on. An erection had already sprung up between his legs, unavoidable, and even though his mind was still trying to stay sharp about the whole deal, his body had decided way ahead of him.
Mingyu pulled back from Wonwoo's lips, his dark eyes gleaming with a hunger he couldn't hide anymore. That mango-and-sage scent rolling off him had ramped up, filling the air like sweet, earthy fog, blending with the fresh pear-and-mint sweetness coming off Wonwoo's skin.
His rut roared inside like a burning pulse, making him grit his teeth to keep from pouncing, but he held back, breathing deep against the omega's neck.
"Can I... take your clothes off?" Mingyu murmured, voice rough, his fingers shaking a little at Wonwoo's shirt waistband, asking nicely with patience that was killing him second by second. His own hard-on throbbed painful against his pants, his alpha instincts howling to claim, to bury himself in that heat driving him wild, but he waited, staring with blown pupils.
Wonwoo let out a soft, nervous little laugh, playful though, the sound buzzing against Mingyu's chest like a tease. His cheeks flushed deeper red, but he nodded no hesitation, voice just a whisper. "Yeah... do it."
Mingyu swallowed hard, heart slamming as his hands moved slow. He started with the shirt buttons, undoing them one by one, letting his knuckles brush Wonwoo's bare skin with light, almost worshipful touches.
The burn of his rut scorched him from the inside, his breath coming out ragged, but he didn't rush. He slid the shirt off Wonwoo's shoulders, baring his collarbone, his smooth chest flushed with that feverish pink, down his arms till they were free. The pear and mint scent hit harder, intoxicating, and Mingyu had to squeeze his eyes shut for a second to keep from losing it.
Next came the pants. His fingers popped the zipper carefully, easing them down Wonwoo's hips, grazing the sensitive skin of his thighs. The omega lifted his hips a bit to help, and Mingyu felt a groan claw up his throat at the sight of that hard, leaking erection straining under his underwear. He peeled that off too, slow, letting the last bit of fabric drop to the floor.
Wonwoo was naked on the sofa now, his pale, perfect body laid out for him: soft skin, chest heaving with quick breaths, that throbbing hard-on against his stomach, legs parted just enough to invite without a word. The omega's heat wrapped around everything, sweet and addictive.
Mingyu froze, kneeling between his legs, just straight-up unable to process it. His eyes traced every inch, from the messy black hair to the curve of his hips, the pulse jumping in his neck.
"God, Wonwoo... you're... I can't believe you're here for me," he whispered, voice cracking with disbelief and overwhelming want, his rut on the verge of exploding as he leaned in closer, not touching yet, just taking in what he'd uncovered.
Wonwoo propped up on his elbows a little, eyes locked on Mingyu. The heat in his gut had turned to liquid fire, his erection dripping on his skin while he breathed in that heady mango-and-sage scent filling the air. He wanted more, needed to feel him, touch him.
"Can I... take yours off now?" Wonwoo asked, voice low and husky, licking his swollen lips from their earlier kisses. He slid off the sofa, standing tall and naked in front of Mingyu, who was still kneeling there stunned.
Mingyu nodded fast, breath hitching. "Yeah... please." He said as he stood up.
Wonwoo grinned, starting from his feet, hands steady as he unbuttoned Mingyu's shirt gentle, like he was doing makeup on a work day. He peeled it open slow, revealing the alpha's broad, muscled chest, veins popping under skin stretched tight from the rut. He eased the shirt down his arms, fingertips grazing his hard nipples, making Mingyu hiss.
Then he dropped to his knees slow, undoing the belt and button on the pants. His eyes never left Mingyu's. He tugged the zipper down, freeing the thick base of the alpha's erection first—it sprang out heavy and hard, tip already wet and throbbing. The size hit him hard, thick and long, veins pulsing strong, that mango scent cranking up from it.
Wonwoo didn't hold back. A low moan slipped out as he took it in, eyes lighting up with pure want. "God, Mingyu," he murmured, before leaning in and swallowing it down in one smooth go.
Mingyu gasped sharply, hands flying to Wonwoo's hair on instinct. The omega was a pro: throat relaxing right away, taking him to the base easily, nose brushing the alpha's pubes while his lips sealed tight. He sucked perfectly, hot wet vacuum pulsing rhythmically, tongue flat and skilled licking long strokes up the underside, swirling the sensitive head every time he pulled back just to plunge deep again.
"Fuck, Wonwoo... how...?" Mingyu growled, blown away to his core, hips shaking from the control he was barely hanging onto. No one had ever sucked him off like this—the omega was pushing him to the edge like a master, throat clenching around him like a fist, saliva dripping from the corner of his mouth as he sucked hard, tongue pressing right on the frenulum to rip groans out of him.
Wonwoo picked up the pace, head bobbing with pro-level rhythm, eyes watering but locked on Mingyu, soaking up every reaction like it was his favorite makeup palette. He couldn't look away from him, down on his knees firm on the rug, mouth stuffed and working with total devotion. Perfect, he thought, the heat of that thick cock pulsing in his throat feeding his oral fixation like nothing else.
Mingyu was ideal for this: big, heavy, wrapped in that ripe mango scent mixed with fresh sage. The taste exploded on his tongue—salty and raw, but with sweet undertones that made it addictive, like forbidden nectar he lapped up greedily every time he pulled back just to sink down to the base again.
His hands gripped Mingyu's thighs, feeling them quake under his touch. He loved those reactions: the ragged gasps, the way the alpha's abs clenched, Gyu's fingers tangling tighter in his black hair. Wonwoo sucked harder, throat loose and ready, swallowing every inch without gagging, nose mashed against the short pubes. Saliva ran down his chin, dripping to the floor, but he didn't care—just wanted more of that taste, more of Mingyu unraveling.
Mingyu let out a low growl, hips finally moving, not wild and savage but slow, on purpose. He thrust forward controlled, fucking Wonwoo's mouth with smooth, deep strokes, each one hitting the back of his throat. "God... you do it so-so good..." the alpha murmured, voice rough and broken, eyes glued to Wonwoo's, which shone with straight-up lust. Wonwoo took it all, not flinching an inch, tongue swirling at the base to squeeze tighter, sucking like he wanted to pull his soul out.
The slow rhythm drove him nuts with pleasure; Mingyu sped up just enough, hips rolling precise, the tip swelling in the omega's throat. Wonwoo felt the racing pulse, the building heat, and doubled down: throat spasming rhythmically, lips sealed tight, lapping up every drop of precum that leaked out. Yeah, give me everything, he thought, drunk on Mingyu's clenches, moans, and the way he shook out of control.
Finally, Mingyu went rigid, a roar ripping from his chest as he thrust deep one last time. Orgasm slammed him hard, thick hot spurts flooding straight down Wonwoo's throat, no escape. The omega swallowed it all greedily, his mouth clenching around the pulsing cock to milk every drop, that intense mango-and-sage flavor bursting on his tongue and making him moan around it. He kept it buried deep and still while Mingyu panted, catching his breath, body still shaking from the aftershocks.
Wonwoo held Mingyu's cock in his throat a few seconds longer, savoring the last throbs, the thick, addictive aftertaste of his load coating every corner of his mouth. More, he thought, hunger nowhere near satisfied. That salty edge with sweet mango-and-sage hits was intoxicating, like a drug making him drool. Slow, he pulled off, licking his lips to catch every bit, eyes on the erection already hardening back up thanks to the alpha's heat.
He stood, sauntered to the wide sofa, lay back with his head on the armrest, neck arched open—clear invite. His own hard-on throbbed against his stomach, but he wasn't ready for that yet; right now, he just wanted more Mingyu. "Come here," he murmured, voice thick with want, hand outstretched to Gyu. "Fuck my mouth. Shove it all in, Mingyu. Make me swallow every drop again."
Mingyu, still breathing heavily with lust-dark eyes, didn't hesitate. His cock was rock-hard already, ready, veins bulging with need. He straddled the side of the sofa, knees framing Wonwoo's head, lining up the tip with those parted lips. He eased down slow at first, but Wonwoo grabbed his hips, swallowing to the base in one smooth motion. The omega's throat opened perfectly, taking him whole.
Mingyu growled, thrusting deep and steady, fucking that hot mouth with possessive rhythm. Every push hit bottom, the bulge of his cock showing clear in Wonwoo's slim neck, stretching the skin under his Adam's apple.
The alpha reached out, fingers trembling as he traced that bulge while driving deeper, hooked on it. "God, Wonwoo... look at you. It's so obvious right here," he murmured, thumb pressing gentle on the moving ridge every time his hips snapped forward. "Never... no omega's taken me like this. So deep, like you were made for me. Fuck, you're unreal," he said between breaths.
Wonu moaned around him, vibrations shooting up Mingyu's cock, Wonwoo gulping down the steady stream leaking from Gyu's tip. He loved the weight, the stretch, the bulge Mingyu touched every thrust—it all just fueled his addiction, his throat squeezing tighter.
The thrill of Mingyu pounding his throat with that relentless skill unlocked something primal in Wonwoo. Every deep thrust sent ecstasy straight to his core. His body finally answered, a liquid heat pooling between his legs, and he let loose his natural slick, thick and plentiful, soaking the sofa under him and scenting the air. That fresh pear-and-mint sweetness exploded through Mingyu's living room.
Gyu breathed it in deep, and it hit him like lightning. His pupils blew wide, heat roaring through his veins, cock swelling even thicker in Wonwoo's throat. "God, your scent always drives me insane," he growled, the last shred of control vanishing like smoke.
He couldn't hold back anymore; his hips turned rough, slamming with brutal force, hands gripping the armrests on either side of the omega's head to pin him down. "Can't wait anymore to bury it balls-deep in you, Wonwoo. Gonna fill you up completely."
Wonwoo kept moaning, vibes humming up the alpha's cock, throat working nonstop on saliva and precum. His legs spread wide on instinct, baring himself, and another gush of slick poured out, cranking the scent to intoxicating levels. Mingyu lost it totally, sniffing the air like a predator, eyes still glued to the bulge of his own dick sliding in Wonwoo's neck.
He cranked the speed to max, thrusts savage and deep, shaking the whole sofa. Wonwoo moaned wild, body arching from the overwhelming pleasure. Mingyu slammed one final brutal thrust, burying to the hilt as he came again. Hot, heavy spurts flooded Wonwoo's throat straight down, making him swallow fast, excess dribbling from the corners of his lips while the alpha roared through his climax, totally gone.
Mingyu pulled out of Wonwoo's mouth with a ragged gasp, his cock still dripping spit and cum, but his focus locked on that irresistible scent driving him wild. Wonwoo was sprawled naked on the sofa, legs spread, his hole twitching and soaked, glistening with slick that kept pouring out nonstop.
The alpha licked his lips, eyes eating up the view. "That slick of yours... I need to drink it all," he said, pure need in his voice.
He settled between Wonwoo's legs on the sofa, nudging the thighs wider for better access. Gyu dove in no hesitation, flat tongue lapping from the base up to the swollen pink rim, tasting that first sweet gush. Right then, he found his new obsession—licking and moaning against the sensitive skin while sucking nonstop at Wonu's entrance, lips sealing tight to pull hard.
Wonwoo's slick flowed heavy, thick and fragrant, flooding his mouth with fresh, sweet flavor that had him groaning in bliss, Mingyu lapping like it was the world's best nectar.
Wonwoo arched his back, a choked cry ripping from his throat. He was sure no alpha had ever done this to him; it wasn't even necessary because his slick did all the work—just a sign he was ready for penetration, no foreplay, no effort.
So what Wonu was feeling was brand-new, mind-blowing pleasure. Mingyu fucked him with his tongue as deep as it could go, long twisting thrusts, the wet muscle tip curling inside to stroke slick walls. The slick made it easy; no real prep needed, Wonwoo's body already open and good to go from the arousal.
Mingyu slid two fingers in alongside his tongue, stretching gentle but firm, curling to hit every sensitive spot inside Wonu while sucking merciless. "So sweet... don't wanna stop," he murmured against him, voice buzzing the skin as his fingers pumped fast in the soaked heat.
Wonwoo moaned wild, hands tangling in Mingyu's hair, hips bucking to fuck deeper into that expert mouth. The alpha devoured everything, tongue and fingers in sync, slurping up every fresh gush of slick, lost in the heady taste.
Mingyu didn't let up, tongue buried deep in Wonwoo's pulsing rim, thrusting faster while his two fingers plunged in, curling to massage every sweet spot nonstop. The slick kept coming, sweet and heavy, and he lapped it all, sucking greedy while Wonwoo let out desperate moans. His ripe mango-and-fresh-sage pheromones flooded the air, wrapping Wonwoo in intoxicating haze.
"Mingyu... God, yes... love how you do that," Wonu gasped, voice breaking, hips rolling against that skilled mouth. His hard cock twitched on his stomach, leaking clear precum in beads, pleasure building from just that tongue and those fingers opening him up perfect. "Feels so good... you're gonna make me... Ah—."
The omega was drunk on Gyu's pheromones too, breathing deep that juicy mango and herbal sage driving him nuts, the scent fogging his brain into pure need. Mingyu growled into him, ramping it up, tongue swirling inside, fingers speeding, and his thumb pressed the base of Wonwoo's dick to drag out the bliss.
Wonwoo locked up tight, a shout bursting from his lips as he came hard, white ropes splattering his chest and stomach. His hole clenched around Mingyu's tongue and fingers, slick surging in fresh waves that the alpha drank down eager.
Mingyu looked up just in time, locking eyes on Wonwoo's blissed-out face—cheeks flushed, lips parted in moans, body still shaking from climax. That sight hit him like lightning; his own cock, still out and sensitive, throbbed untouched and came on its own, weak but intense spurts hitting his thigh.
It had never happened like that—never blown his load just from seeing the pleasure he'd given an omega. Sure, he'd never gone all out before, never craved another omega's essence enough to drink it straight from the source. He was stunned. But it just drove home that Wonu wasn't just any omega.

Wonwoo eyed Mingyu's king-size bed—it dwarfed his own, plenty of room to go wild, no holds barred. They'd made it there between desperate kisses and grabs. Mingyu's rut, kicked off back in the dressing room, had lit Wonwoo's up by sheer contagion: not painful, just a throbbing, fiery ache in his gut, a need that had slick leaking steady, his pear-and-mint pheromones mixing with the alpha's mango and sage into something almost dizzying.
Mingyu stayed sharp enough to wrap it up, maybe Wonwoo's scent giving him a grip on reality while driving him nuts too. Some alphas in rut totally blacked out, skipped the condom step, but maybe Gyu still had that insecurity nagging him—the one whispering Wonwoo felt nothing for him, never flirted back.
Deep down, Mingyu might've figured Wonwoo was just there out of basic decency, not because he liked him, maybe even pitied him a bit, since Gyu was the one who'd begged him to stay.
After rolling on the condom, the alpha stretched out on his back in the bed's center, thick cock hard and ready again. "Come here, Wonwoo," he murmured, almost pleading, hands guiding him on top.
The makeup artist straddled him reverse, back pressing to the alpha's broad chest, feeling that racing heartbeat against his spine. Mingyu lifted his hips, the blunt tip nudging the omega's soaked rim, and Wonu sank down slowly, taking it inch by inch.
The stretch was perfect, slick making it smooth; Mingyu's cock filled him to the hilt, thick base nestling against his entrance while Wonwoo let out a long moan, head dropping back onto the alpha's shoulder.
Mingyu wrapped an arm around his waist, the other hand sliding up to tweak a sensitive nipple, and started rolling his hips to hit as deep as possible from below. He moaned through gritted teeth before speaking. "Like this... you're perfect for me," he said right in Wonwoo's ear, lips brushing his neck, breathing in that heat-scent. Wonwoo could only gasp, body shaking from the friction, the angle nailing every spot with each thrust.
Gyu kept pounding up steadily, hips snapping in powerful drives that stuffed Wonwoo full, wet skin-slap sounds echoing through the room. His arms hugged the omega tight, one hand on his hip steering him, the other roaming free.
He kissed Wonwoo's exposed neck, hot lips tracing the sensitive curve, nipping soft before licking the skin. "You feel so good... always dreamed of this," Mingyu confessed against his throat, voice deep and low.
Wonwoo moaned, arching back, and started moving with him, rising and falling on that thick cock to match Mingyu's rhythm, back flush to the alpha's chest. "Feels... incredible, Mingyu," he gasped, voice shaky with pleasure, head lolling sideways for better neck access.
Mingyu growled, tongue dragging a long line up to Wonwoo's hard nipple, sucking it firm while thrusting deep from below. His teeth grazed the sensitive bud, tugging light, and his free hand went to the other nipple, pinching it. Wonu whimpered loud at the touch, giving in to it all, hips grinding down harder.
"Yeah... don't stop, Mingyu. You fill me up so good... fuck me harder," he begged between moans, slick dripping down both their thighs as they lost themselves in the shared rhythm.
Mingyu listened, ramped up his thrusts, kept ravaging Wonwoo's nipple with his mouth while pinching the other, then trailed wet kisses back to his neck to bite down.
But it wasn't enough—Gyu wanted deeper, wanted all of Wonwoo. Hands firm on his hips, without pulling out, he sat up strong, lifting the omega with him, cock buried deep as he flipped their bodies.
He eased Wonwoo down chest-first on the mattress, flattening his torso, face turned to the side on the sheets, legs straight and pressed to the bed, just his ass up and open for him. Wonwoo's hole dripped slick, letting the alpha's cock slide even deeper in this angle.
"Like this... all for me," Mingyu murmured, blanketing Wonwoo's body with his own, hips slamming in hard, deep thrusts that speared him to the limit, nailing every sweet spot dead-on.
Each pound went deeper than before, stretching the omega wide, making Wonwoo writhe and muffle moans into the pillow. God, Mingyu was hitting so deep... Wonu almost wanted him to knock him up in a fevered haze, his heat pounding wild, but the condom kept that risk off the table.
Even if he wanted it badly, the truth was Wonu didn't know if this was just a one-night thing, him helping Mingyu through his rut—he could already picture the NDA coming his way, though that's not what he wanted. But with Gyu's fame, Wonwoo figured that's all he could hope for with him.
Anyway, Mingyu leaned in closer, lips snagging Wonwoo's earlobe to kiss and nip gentle, teeth tugging while he fucked him ruthless. He moved to the nape, licking the skin before biting possessive, leaving red marks. His kisses trailed down the omega's arched back, nipping the spine with every thrust, hands gripping hips to drive in harder.
"Can't believe how good you feel, Wonwoo—I'm crazy about you," Mingyu said through gritted teeth against his skin, full of pleasure and affection or whatever this pull was tying him to Wonwoo. His pace didn't quit, the mattress creaking under them. Wonwoo could only gasp and push back, lost in the overload.
Gyu didn't ease up, pounding Wonu with hard, wild thrusts in that position, hips slapping the raised ass. Wonwoo was drowned in pure bliss, mind fogged, body shaking nonstop. Slick gushed generously, soaking Mingyu's cock through the thin condom, dripping down the alpha's thighs, making everything slick and scorching.
Feeling that just ramped Mingyu up more, got him hotter—he couldn't help growling, sucking in the spiked pear-and-mint scent.
“Oh-Wow all that slick... is it because of me?” He panted, genuinely surprised. Wonu could only nod, too busy moaning to speak. “You drive me crazy.” The alpha groaned, feeling his knot swell at the base, pressing against Wonwoo's stretched ring with each thrust.
The omega cried out in pleasure, hot tears streaming down his cheeks onto the sheets, voice breaking in desperate pleas. “Please... Mingyu, fuck me with your knot. Put it all in... to the hilt. I need…”
Those words, those sobbing moans, stirred something deep in Mingyu. He felt vulnerable for the first time, exposed in his desire to please him, a tender heat mixing with the lust. “Yes... I'll give you everything you want.” Gyu murmured, pushing with controlled force, his knot swelling to force entry inch by inch until it lodged fully, locking them together.
Wonwoo screamed in ecstasy, tears flowing free, only able to feel that overwhelming pleasure as Mingyu hit bottom, kissing his nape with devotion. The alpha panted, happy down to the bone seeing him like this, being the one pushing him to the edge.
Mingyu slowed his pace to a slow, deliberate rock, his swollen knot anchored deep in Wonwoo, binding them in stifling intimacy. Each movement was too good: the perfect stretch of the ring around the thick base, the constant friction against the omega's prostate, their bodies stuck in sweat and heat.
Wonu's slick kept flowing, easing the smooth slide, while their pheromones interwove in the thick air. Mingyu groaned low against Wonwoo's nape, hands roaming his sides, still planting soft kisses contrasting the earlier roughness. Gyu couldn't help thinking he'd never done something like this with anyone else, he was at Wonu's beck and call, truly anything.
But for now, the alpha could only keep thrusting deep to maximize every sensation. Wonwoo sobbed pure pleasure, tears drying on his cheeks, cock leaking onto the bed untouched. The knot filled him perfectly, opening him in every angle, pleasure building dizzying inside him.
Mingyu kept going, a little slower, gentler now that the knot was wrapped in the sex, not much more needed, max pleasure with minimal movement. But there was one particular thrust, slow, swirling, pressing just the right spot, and that was what did it.
Wonwoo came first, sharp cry, body convulsing as he came hard, hot spurts painting the sheets beneath him, hole clenching around the knot in spasms milking Mingyu.
That triggered the alpha's orgasm instantly. Gyu roared, hips snapping one last time to the bottom, knot pulsing while he filled the condom, overflowing it. Both panted, wishing silently there was no barrier, Wonu really wanted to feel the cum direct, raw union without anything between them.
The still swollen knot kept them from separating, so Mingyu rolled carefully, spooning them on the bed, chest to Wonwoo's back, arm around the omega's waist, cock still buried and pulsing soft.
They rested like that, ragged breaths calming, Mingyu kissing lazy on Wonwoo's shoulder. "Stay like this... a little longer," Gyu murmured, voice satisfied, while the post-orgasm heat wrapped them in peace he knew wouldn't last long. Wonwoo just sighed happily, curling against him, though he didn't want to stay a little longer, he wanted to stay forever.

They'd spent hours like that, spooning, Mingyu's knot deflating enough to separate at last, but sleep claimed them for at least a couple hours. It was clear the alpha's rut didn't rest, and Wonwoo's, already sparked, burned steadily.
Mingyu woke gradually, sleep fog lifting with a warm, tight wetness enveloping his cock: Wonwoo had his mouth full of him, giving him a deep-throat expert blowjob even in his sleep. The omega swallowed him down easily, using his flat tongue to lick long, slow waves up the underside, sucking slow.
Mingyu moaned as he opened his eyes, hips twitching instinctively, hands flying to Wonwoo's black hair. "Fuck... Wonwoo..." he gasped, voice still sleep-husky.
Wonu pulled off the alpha's cock, lips red and swollen curving in a grin. "Morning glory..." he murmured, then used his tongue to lazily lick the tip, tasting the precum beading there.
No time wasted, Wonwoo grabbed a new condom from the nightstand, rolled it smoothly onto Mingyu's throbbing cock, all the way to the base. Then he straddled Gyu, knees sinking into the mattress on either side of his hips.
He guided the alpha's cock to his drenched entrance, lowering slowly at first, taking him inch by inch until he sat fully, both groaning in unison as Mingyu hit bottom inside the omega.
Wonwoo rode him to perfection, his hips spinning and bouncing with mastery as he slid his hands over Mingyu's chest to push himself up. His own hard-on throbbed against his belly, each downward plunge spearing him deep, the lube making their rhythm fluid as Wonwoo's inner walls squeezed the alpha tight, not wanting to let him go.
Mingyu growled in pleasure, his hands gripping Wonwoo's hips to guide him harder, driving up to meet his body. Wonwoo kept riding Mingyu, his hips undulating in a delicious, expert rhythm, rising until just the tip brushed his entrance before sinking back down to the base, the alpha's cock stretching him perfectly with each descent.
Wonu’s hands roamed ceaselessly, fingers tracing the hard, defined abs, palming each contracted groove, moving up to the strong, firm pecs. Wonwoo's thumbs grazed the stiff, puckered nipples, drawing out gasps. He stroked Mingyu's thick neck, feeling the rapid pulse beneath the skin, tempted to squeeze with possessiveness, but restrained, only grazing softly as he moaned beneath.
"You're so perfect... everywhere," Wonwoo gasped, his voice thick with pleasure, eyes locked on Mingyu's as he bounced faster, his inner walls clenching the alpha's cock for all it was worth. "The sexiest, most amazing alpha I've ever known. God, Mingyu... you're driving me crazy." His hips swiveled in sensual circles, grinding against Mingyu, lube dripping down their thighs.
Mingyu loved the sight, loved Wonwoo's voice, hearing him say that was incredible. Did that mean Wonu liked him? Well, in that moment, the alpha had no time or space for overthinking, it was pure instinct.
Mingyu felt the urge, a low growl rumbling in his chest as he fluidly pushed up, keeping their connection intact. His strong arms wrapped around Wonwoo's waist, pulling the omega flush against him, chest to chest. Wonwoo gasped, hips pausing a beat in surprise, but Gyu adjusted him perfectly, legs crossed, holding them tight as his cock remained buried deep. Their bodies melted together, slick skin sliding against each other.
"Stay like this... close," Mingyu murmured, his deep, desire-filled voice sending shivers down Wonwoo's spine. He guided the omega's head towards a kiss.
Their lips crashed together wildly, tongues tangling without shame, teeth grazing and biting as Mingyu took control of the rhythm. His hips started thrusting powerfully from below, the strokes deep and circular, hitting every sensitive spot inside Wonwoo. The angle intensified, the alpha's knot already starting to swell, pressing right against Wonu.
Wonwoo's lube flowed between them. He moaned into Mingyu's mouth, overwhelmed by pure pleasure. His arms wrapped around the alpha's neck, holding on tight as his legs wrapped around Mingyu, too, resuming his own movements in perfect sync.
The rhythm intensified, more intimate and scorching, their bodies glued together with no space to spare. Mingyu's pecs pressed against Wonwoo's chest, their abs contracting in unison. Their breaths mingled between kisses that never ceased.
Mingyu adored this closeness, feeling every tremor, every rapid heartbeat of the omega against him, his pear and mint scent overwhelming him. And Wonwoo melted into that same closeness, the shared heat making their shared lust even more intense.
"God... just like this, Wonwoo..." Mingyu growled between kisses, breaking only to lick Wonwoo's lower lip before capturing it again, his tongue delving deeper before retreating. "You feel like paradise..."
Wonwoo kissed him back fiercely, nipping gently at Mingyu's lip as he ground down to sink in deeper. "Yes... hold me tighter," he gasped against his mouth, voice ragged from a particularly deep thrust that made him arch. "I love this... you and me like there's no tomorrow. You're... everything I needed, Mingyu." He said, tangling his hands in Mingyu's dark hair, tugging to deepen the kiss, their tongues battling as the rhythm intensified.
Mingyu pushed up with force, Wonwoo meeting him, skin slapping in wet slaps, muffled moans swallowed in joined mouths. The alpha slid a hand down Wonwoo's back, tracing the curve of his spine before squeezing his ass, opening him up to sink in deep.
"You don’t know how much I desired you... from the first day I saw you on set," he confessed between kisses, his voice tinged with something loving beneath the lust, dark eyes locked on Wonwoo's. "You're precious, I've always wanted you just for me."
Wonwoo whimpered softly, his heart racing at those words, responding with a gentler kiss before the madness took over again, his teeth finding Mingyu's neck to mark while his hips spun on top of the alpha.
The embrace tightened, Mingyu wrapping him completely, one arm under Wonwoo's ass to lift and drop him harder, the other at his nape keeping him close to continue kissing him.
Wonwoo's nipples rubbed against Mingyu's chest with every move, his hard-on trapped between their bellies, rubbing with the motion. "Harder, Mingyu, let your knot fill me up completely," Wonu begged in a breathy gasp, eyes glassy with pleasure, and Gyu obeyed, the rhythm becoming frantic but precise. "Stay with me, Mingyu, in this... in everything," he murmured suddenly, sealing the promise with another deep kiss, their bodies fused in ecstasy.
Mingyu and Wonwoo kept fucking in the same position with intensity, their bodies moving as the alpha thrust rapidly, sharing savage kisses. Gyu's hips pushed up with precision, his thick cock stretching Wonu's slick interior, while the omega descended with sensual spins, his inner walls clenching in pulses.
Mingyu's knot began to swell more, bulging at the base with each movement, insistently pressing against Wonu's already softened ring, lubricant still flowing abundantly from the omega.
"Feel that? It's growing just for you," Mingyu said against Wonwoo's lips, and it was true, perhaps in that state he wasn't fully conscious, but in reality, it was rare for his knot to grow this way, maybe because his feelings weren't involved when other omega was helping during his rut, but with Wonu, it was completely different.
The alpha pushed with a deep thrust, his knot forcing its way in slowly, making its way to nestle completely inside the omega once more. Wonwoo gasped high, face contorted in pure ecstasy, eyes half-closed and tearful, cheeks flushed bright red, lips parted in a silent moan that Mingyu saw full-face, so raw and beautiful it undid him.
That face was what pushed him over the edge. Mingyu groaned, his knot pulsing as he came first, hot spurts flooding the condom in powerful waves, a phantom heat seeping through the latex. Wonwoo felt the violent tremor inside, the throb of the swollen knot against his walls, and that was enough, his own orgasm exploding, his cock spurting over Mingyu's belly, warm semen splattering his chest, marking him almost unintentionally.
"Yeah... fuck, Mingyu..." Wonwoo moaned, his body convulsing in the alpha's arms, utterly satisfied to his core, his head ending up on Mingyu's shoulder as aftershocks wracked them together.
Mingyu held him tighter, kissing his temple, both panting in that post-orgasm haze, the alpha's knot still keeping them locked together, unable to escape. Wonwoo sighed deeply, a dopey smile curving his lips, completely full, he'd love to feel Mingyu raw inside him, but at least with all this, he was happy.
𓍯𓂃𓂃𓂃
They spent three long days where Wonwoo and Mingyu did little more than fuck and snack on whatever the alpha had in his pantry and fridge. Time seemed to completely dissolve inside that house, as if the outside world had stopped existing.
The curtains stayed closed most of the time, but neither of them seemed very aware of it. The clock kept moving, mornings turned into afternoons and then nights again, and they barely separated long enough to drink water, eat something quick, or shower before ending up back in bed—or on the couch.
They went through several bags of chips, cereal bars, cookies, some fruit Mingyu had in the refrigerator, and a couple of energy drinks the alpha kept for when his schedule got heavy. It wasn’t exactly the kind of food meant to get someone through three whole days, but neither of them was very interested in cooking—or even preparing something more elaborate. Every break was short, just enough to regain a little energy before the heat between them started rising again.
At least Gyu’s manager knew about his rut. That, in some way, reassured Wonwoo a little. Even though Wonu still didn’t know what he was going to do after all of this, the overtime he had worked the same day Mingyu’s rut hit could probably cover one day of work… but he had been absent for three days total, so he would still have to answer for two more.
That thought kept coming back to him whenever his mind cleared for a moment, usually when he was in the shower or when Mingyu finally fell asleep for a few hours after exhausting himself.
He even considered saying he had missed work because of his own heat, but the idea made him nervous. What if his bosses connected the dots and realized he had spent Mingyu’s rut with him? He definitely didn’t want to get the actor in trouble—and obviously he didn’t want to lose his job either. He had worked far too hard to get that position at ICRA Entertainment. Even if he wasn’t the main makeup artist for every celebrity in the agency, he was still someone reliable within the team.
Meanwhile, the alpha seemed almost unwilling to let his rut end. Even after it was over, when everything had settled and his temperature had gone back to normal, Mingyu kept looking for Wonwoo constantly. He kissed him whenever he walked past, hugged him from behind while they moved around the house, pulled him against his chest when they were sitting on the couch watching something on TV that neither of them was really paying attention to.
And poor Wonu was still trying to figure out what excuse he should use to go back to work.
"I’ll see you at work tomorrow, right? I’ve got a photoshoot with Dior and you definitely have to do my makeup," Gyu said between kisses.
They had already showered and eaten a simple breakfast. Now they were standing near the entrance of the house, though Mingyu kept leaning down to steal kisses every few seconds as if he still didn’t want to let him go.
Wonu just wanted to go home. The omega sighed, tired but also a little overwhelmed by everything that had happened. "Don’t you think I might be unemployed by tomorrow? I missed three days of work and—"
"But I already talked to them. I told them you wouldn’t be able to come in, so don’t worry about it, okay?" Mingyu interrupted quickly. He said it so casually, like he genuinely believed that solved everything.
But that only worried Wonu even more. "Okay… Well, I need to go home so I can go to work tomorrow, alright? I’ll call a taxi, okay? I’ll request it once I’m outside your neighborhood so… so it doesn’t raise any suspicion," Wonwoo said, sounding a little serious.
Maybe he was being colder than he should have been—especially considering Mingyu was still treating him with so much closeness, touching him and hugging him so easily. But he didn’t know if Mingyu’s senses were still clouded from the rut, because he was being very clingy.
Every time Wonwoo took a step toward the door, Mingyu found some way to touch his arm, his waist, his shoulder, as if unconsciously trying to keep him close. And it wasn’t something that bothered Wonu. But it did confuse him a lot. Because he didn’t know if he should respond to it—if he should let himself fall fully into it—because he was very afraid of ending up hurt in the end.
Gyu was a famous alpha, desired by everyone, acclaimed, loved. There were thousands of people who would probably do anything just to be near him, to have his attention for even a few minutes. He didn’t need anything from Wonwoo.
At least, that’s what the omega thought. He felt like he had nothing to offer him. But then… had those three days of rut meant nothing to him? Wonu was even confused with himself, because yes—he had enjoyed it. A lot more than he expected to admit.
But then he started wondering if maybe he had taken advantage of the situation. Mingyu had been a little lost and vulnerable because of the rut, so… well. Still, Gyu had explicitly said he wanted him, so maybe he shouldn’t be doubting it so much.
"None of that. I can drop you off near where you live. I wanted to go out and buy a few things anyway, alright? If you want, I can leave you somewhere that won’t look suspicious, like you said," Mingyu told him. And Wonwoo had no choice but to accept. Not right away—Gyu insisted a little more, with that soft tone that made it hard to say no.
In the end, the two of them drove to a shopping plaza. The drive was short and quiet, Mingyu behind the wheel wearing dark sunglasses and a low cap to avoid being easily recognized. The underground parking lot was pretty empty at that hour, just a few scattered cars.
Mingyu parked in the basement, and that’s where Wonwoo got out first. He closed the door carefully, adjusting his jacket and glancing around out of habit before walking a few steps away.
Then Mingyu moved the car to another spot, just to throw anyone off, and got out on his own to do his shopping with his manager, who was already waiting for him near the supermarket entrance.
Wonu went back home. Although he definitely found it strange that he hadn’t received a single message from his supervisor or from HR. He was nervous. Maybe the next day, when he showed up to work, he wouldn’t even be able to access the ICRA Entertainment building anymore. Maybe his fingerprint access simply wouldn’t work when he tried to pass through the entrance turnstiles.
All he could do that day was think. Think about the fact that yes, he had spent Mingyu’s rut with him. The alpha’s rut had triggered his own heat, something that had never happened to him before. It was strange—very strange—but when he analyzed it calmly, it did make a certain biological sense.
And he wasn’t nearly as exhausted as he had been when he had helped his ex-partners through their ruts.
Maybe because with them it had felt more like an obligation, something he had to do because it was part of the relationship and he forced himself to go through with it. But with Gyu he had been just as insatiable—or even more so than the alpha during those moments, responding to every kiss, every touch, every time Mingyu came back for him like he couldn’t get enough either.
He felt good. As if sleeping with Mingyu had actually revitalized him—and that was strange. It wasn’t just physical. It wasn’t only that his body didn’t feel as exhausted as it probably should after spending three days practically locked inside with an alpha in full rut. It was something deeper, something harder to explain, like his energy had been renewed in a way that didn’t quite make logical sense.
Every time he thought about it, he felt a pleasant warmth in his chest, a strange lightness that contrasted sharply with the mental exhaustion he was carrying. But even so, he didn’t want to think too deeply about it. Because if he did, he’d probably end up overanalyzing what all of it meant.
So instead, he tried to think about how everything looked from the outside—especially when it came to work. The moment he stepped away from the warm haze those three days with Mingyu had been, reality hit him again pretty hard.
He had no justification for missing three days of work. They would probably fire him. The idea felt so logical he could almost see it happening in his head like a scene that had already been written: him arriving at work, his manager calling him into the office, the short explanation, the dismissal letter sitting on the desk.
Had it been worth it? Well… if Wonu was completely honest with himself, yes. It was worth losing the job. He had spent three incredible days with the alpha he had liked the most in his entire life. With Mingyu—who, even while lost in his rut, had still cared about Wonwoo’s pleasure. Someone who didn’t just act on instinct like many alphas did in that state, but who sought him out, touched him gently, asked if he was okay.
Someone who had said so many things out loud that Wonu still couldn’t quite believe. "I’ve always wanted you." "I’ve always wanted this." "I’ve always liked you." God. All of those were things Wonwoo could only hope Mingyu hadn’t said just because he was drunk on lust, clouded by his rut, completely ruled by instinct.
Because he really remembered everything. Every word, every whisper close to his ear, every time Mingyu had held him against his chest while repeating his name between ragged breaths. Ah… and not to mention the way the omega had taken Mingyu’s knot. He had never experienced that before either.
None of his ex-boyfriends had ever grown that much during their ruts, nor had they had that same intensity when their bodies finally joined completely. So yes… it was his first time experiencing many things he had never gone through or felt with any other alpha. Things his body still seemed to remember hours later, when he was lying in his own bed trying to fall asleep.
Even so, he kept the secret. He hadn’t signed a confidentiality agreement. No one had asked him to. But for him it wasn’t even necessary. Wonu genuinely liked Gyu, so he didn’t want to affect him in any way. He didn’t want to become someone who could cause problems for him, especially considering how delicate the public image of an actor like Mingyu could be.
He wanted him to be happy and free. To not feel burdened by what they had shared, but instead to feel glad—like he did—that he had spent that rut with Wonu.
Eventually, after thinking about all that, Wonwoo went to sleep feeling uneasy. The physical exhaustion finally caught up with him, but his mind kept spinning with too many thoughts. He decided he would say he had been sick, that he hadn’t gone to the doctor but had taken some leftover medicine he had at home, which was why he didn’t have a prescription. It was a pretty silly lie, though also fairly harmless, but it was the only excuse he could come up with at the moment.
It wasn’t perfect, but he hoped it would be enough. The next day he showed up at the office almost like nothing had happened. Well… not exactly like nothing had happened.
He decided to wear a scarf and dress a little warmer than usual, even if the weather didn’t really require it. He also kept his neck slightly covered and walked with a slightly hunched posture, like he was still recovering from something. All of that just to make his act of I’m recovering from a weird cold seem more believable.
When he registered his entry with his fingerprints, there was no problem. The machine made the usual confirmation sound and the screen displayed his name like always. That small detail already lifted a bit of weight off his shoulders, because at least he hadn’t been locked out of the system.
But he knew he still had to go to the human resources department first to report his absence and give his cheap excuse about why he had been gone for three days. Without thinking too much about it, he headed to the floor where the HR office was. The hallway was quiet at that hour, just a few people walking quickly between offices. He knocked a couple of times.
"Come in!" Miss Kwon, the HR manager, called from inside. He opened the door cautiously, but the moment he did, she didn’t even let him speak. "Wonwoo! I was just about to call you in as soon as you arrived," she said with an unusually cheerful tone.
Wonu immediately felt a wave of worry. He could practically feel the severance package already in his hands. They were definitely going to fire him. And the worst part was that it would be a justified dismissal.
He gave a weak smile while walking toward the desk and sitting down across from Miss Kwon, though he was very tense. His hands rested together on his legs, trying not to show how nervous he was.
"Miss Lee told me you were working on a special project with Kim Mingyu, which is why you weren’t here for three days. She also requested that we promote you or… something like that. Basically, she wants you to become Mingyu’s personal makeup artist, you know? Like no one else will have access to touch and do makeup on that handsome face anymore. But I’m not sure if that’s something you’d be interested in."
Oh? So Gyu had taken care of everything. But… when? He and Wonwoo had spent those three days doing nothing but having sex. Was Mingyu communicating with Miss Lee telepathically or something? It was impressive.
Wonu stayed silent for a few seconds, processing the information. Still… becoming Gyu’s personal makeup artist was something many people would probably dream of.
"Well, it sounds like a great offer, but… what would that mean exactly? How would my job change?" he finally asked, because he truly had no idea about this proposal. Mingyu hadn’t mentioned anything—he had been far too busy hugging and kissing him during those days.
"Basically, you and Mingyu would be exclusive." And Wonu liked that idea in every possible way. "You’d now be part of his personal team. You wouldn’t work directly at the company anymore—only at Mingyu’s events, Mingyu’s photoshoots. If he has to travel for sponsorships or fan meetings, you’d go with him. From now on, you’d only do Mingyu’s makeup."
Miss Kwon let out a small sigh before adding, "That’s one of the most desired jobs in all of South Korea." Then she let out a small laugh. "But if that’s not what you want, I can tell Miss Lee that they can work with another makeup artist we have. I’m sure that—"
"No, no, it’s fine, I’d love to… I mean, I’ve always wanted to visit other countries, and I thought that with this job—since I’m not really part of a team that usually travels with the agency—I’d probably never get the chance. I’d love to. I’m on board, definitely," Wonwoo interrupted quickly. There was no way he was letting that opportunity slip away.
He would be close to Mingyu almost all the time and would only work with him. No more idols or actors he barely knew, no more different faces every week, no more unpredictable schedules jumping between different artists. Just the most desired alpha in the world. Only Kim Mingyu.

SEVERAL MONTHS LATER
The view from there was incredible—simply magnificent. Not only because through the huge window Wonwoo could see the Eiffel Tower rising elegantly against the Parisian morning sky, but also because the natural light poured perfectly into the room, filtering softly and evenly through the glass. It was the kind of light makeup artists adored: not too harsh, not too dim, just enough to reveal every nuance of skin tone without creating awkward shadows.
Thanks to that, Mingyu’s face was illuminated in its real color—warm and golden—and Wonu could work much better, seeing every detail clearly. The hotel lounge that Dior had reserved for Mingyu’s team was spacious and elegant, with minimalist furniture and neutral tones that allowed all the attention to fall on the massive window. From there, Paris almost looked like a living postcard.
Wonwoo stood in front of Mingyu, focused, holding a small brush between his fingers while carefully studying the alpha’s face. He adjusted his position slightly to comb through Mingyu’s eyebrows, which sometimes liked to act rebellious, lifting in directions that didn’t quite match the perfection of the rest of his face. It was something Wonwoo always had to fix a little before actually starting the makeup.
Though maybe the one who behaved rebelliously most of the time was the alpha himself. At that moment, Mingyu simply couldn’t help it. With Wonwoo standing so close—leaning toward him with that serious, concentrated expression he always had when he worked—Gyu just smiled. His eyes shone with the affection that lately seemed to appear every time he looked at the omega.
And then he simply hugged him. Without any warning, he pulled Wonwoo into his arms, settling him between his legs while he sat in the chair in front of the vanity. Wonwoo let out a small sound of surprise. He tried to escape, to slip back and keep some level of professionalism, but Mingyu tightened his arms around his waist and refused to let him go.
"Mingyu…" the omega complained, frowning slightly while trying to keep the brush away from causing any kind of disaster. But Mingyu didn’t want to let him go. His chin rested briefly on Wonwoo’s shoulder as he breathed calmly. "Min, we’re working. I need to get you ready right now," Wonu finally said, trying to sound firm.
The alpha sighed dramatically, though a smile still lingered on his lips. Eventually, he loosened his hold little by little. "Sorry. You just don’t know how happy you make me. I just want to appreciate you all the time," the alpha said without the slightest bit of embarrassment. As he spoke, his pheromones intensified slightly—not in an overwhelming way, but just enough for Wonwoo to catch that familiar scent that always made him feel warm inside.
"I know, Min. But you know you can appreciate me at other times, okay? Right now we’re working, and I need to make you even more perfect than you already are," Wonu replied. His voice came out soft, carrying that special tone he reserved only for Mingyu—for his alpha—one that no one else on the team had ever heard.
Things between them were already established. After that first rut, Mingyu went through another one with Wonwoo months later, and by then the distance that had once existed between them had practically disappeared. They were no longer just actor and makeup artist, no longer just two people who happened to cross paths because of work.
Gyu was already tired of them only having a professional relationship. So a few weeks earlier, right before they had to travel to France—since the alpha was a Dior ambassador and would appear again at Paris Fashion Week—Mingyu decided he couldn’t keep waiting.
He invited Wonwoo to dinner. By that point, it wasn’t unusual for people to see them together. After all, Wonu was now officially part of the staff assigned exclusively to Gyu, so whenever someone saw them leaving the building together or walking down a hallway talking, nobody raised an eyebrow. Everyone simply thought, Ah, right. That’s his makeup artist.
No one suspected anything more. No one suspected that the omega who always carried his skincare products, his brushes, and his cases full of makeup had actually already captured the actor’s heart. No one knew that Mingyu had spent years in love with him, long before his heat forced him to confess his feelings in a feverish, messy, almost unbelievable way.
No one knew—not even Gyu’s manager. Well… Miss Lee had a bit of context. She knew the alpha liked Wonu; she’d noticed it for a long time, but she never imagined just how far it went. And Mingyu decided he wanted to get a “yes” from Wonwoo first before telling his manager that he was now in a relationship with his makeup artist.
Because even though they had already gone through two ruts together, even though they spent a lot of time together outside of work too, the truth was that Mingyu had never actually heard Wonwoo say out loud that he wanted something more.
They spent time together naturally. Even when there was no work involved, Gyu would drive him home and they’d stay talking in the car a few minutes longer than necessary. They’d chat about reels they saw on Instagram, about a cooking YouTuber they both liked, about old movies they’d watched when they were teenagers.
Wonu could feel the blessed tension between them. It was there—palpable, obvious. But sometimes, honestly, he ignored it. Because he was still insecure. Because Mingyu had never said directly: I like you, and that’s why I asked for you to be my personal makeup artist, because I love you.
And maybe sharing a rut wasn’t as obvious as it seemed, because Wonwoo tended to analyze things too much. Heat and rut were full of impulses, instinct, and almost no reason. Sometimes even he, when he went into heat, had thoughts he didn’t even recognize as his own. There were moments when his mind whispered: I’d do it with any alpha who crossed my path. Even though he never did. Mostly because he hated feeling empty after those days, even if his body screamed for it.
And maybe it was the same for Gyu. Maybe Wonu had simply been the first omega who crossed his path at that moment. What he didn’t know was that he was wrong. Completely wrong. Because Mingyu had been deeply in love with him long before that. And he proved it that night when he invited him to dinner.
Wonwoo was happy about it—he wouldn’t lie. He felt flattered and genuinely happy every time the alpha showed him little gestures of attention. So he dressed nicely. He took his time choosing his clothes, trying on two different shirts before settling on one he liked better for the way it fit his figure.
He even put on a bit of makeup—something very subtle, just enough to soften a few imperfections. Because unlike Gyu, Wonu did have some imperfections that he didn’t always completely cover on his face.
The alpha picked him up, covered as always—with a cap, sunglasses, and a light mask—hiding his identity, not revealing that he was that star actor everyone admired and that thousands and thousands of omegas desired. For Wonwoo, at that moment, he was just Mingyu.
They went to a fancy restaurant. It was beautiful. Warm lights, perfectly arranged tables, and an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. Wonwoo loved it from the moment they walked in. They sat at an outdoor table with a view of the city lights.
The dishes were delicious, and the conversation between them flowed as easily as always. It felt like they’d been friends for years. There was something that connected them naturally—they shared the same sense of humor, understood the same jokes, had the same cultural references. After all, they were the same age.
"I’ve never worked in theater. Do you think I should try it?" Mingyu asked, resting his elbows lightly on the table as he listened attentively to some stories from when Wonu had actually worked in theater years ago.
"Well, I think you could do well in theater too, though it’s a different kind of audience, I’d say… Sometimes people can be a bit reluctant when it comes to a TV actor performing in theater," Wonwoo said, his eyes fixed on Mingyu, attentive, as if he were genuinely evaluating the idea.
Mingyu nodded slowly. It was true. He had heard comments like that before—some fellow actors had mentioned it to him. Theater audiences could sometimes be more demanding, more critical, maybe because they were used to watching performances live, without cuts, without second takes, without editing that could save a mistake.
But even so, hearing Wonwoo say that he believed he could do it well gave him a small warm feeling in his chest.
"Yeah… I think you’re right," he finally replied, leaning back slightly against the chair as he thought about it. "But I’d still like to try it at least once."
The conversation kept going with the same easy, natural flow as always. They talked about actors who had made that transition, about some famous plays Wonwoo had seen back when he still worked in theater, and even about little anecdotes—like the nervous energy actors had right before going on stage while he finished doing their makeup. Mingyu listened with genuine interest.
Then dessert arrived. The waiter placed the plates elegantly in front of them before quietly stepping away. Gyu’s carrot cake looked perfect, topped with a smooth layer of white frosting and delicate little decorations. In front of Wonu sat his strawberry cheesecake, soft and glossy, with a faint sweet aroma drifting through the air.
But the alpha still couldn’t find the right words. God. He liked Wonu so much—so much—that it felt like his brain short-circuited every time he tried to organize what he wanted to say. It was like his mind had too many things piled up at once: nerves, excitement, hope, fear.
He felt like if he opened his mouth right then, the words would explode instead of coming out calm and clear with a simple message. Mingyu sighed. The plate in front of him suddenly seemed way too interesting, as if focusing on it might keep him from losing control of his own thoughts.
Wonwoo was just about to try his dessert, cutting a small piece of the strawberry cheesecake with his spoon, when he noticed Mingyu had completely frozen. Just staring at his cake, almost strangely.
"Everything okay, Mingyu? You didn’t like the cake?" Wonu asked curiously, tilting his head a little.
The alpha blinked, snapping back to reality. "Yeah, everything’s fine, it’s just…" He paused, running a hand through his hair like he was trying to organize his thoughts. "I need to tell you something, Wonwoo… Well, I don’t know if you’ve already noticed, but…" He sighed again. This time he lifted his gaze and looked the omega straight in the eyes.
"I’m in love with you, Wonwoo." The words finally came out. And once he said it, it felt like a huge weight disappeared from his chest.
"I think I’ve been pretty clear from the start. I’ve always liked you, I’ve always wanted to be with you…" he continued, his voice steadier now. "Not just as coworkers. Not just as friends. I want… us to be a couple." His fingers shifted nervously against the table. "And I feel this really strong connection with you. Something I’ve never felt with anyone else. So…" Gyu had to stop again.
Some guests nearby were getting up from their tables. Maybe he hadn’t chosen the perfect moment, but he also knew that restaurant wasn’t exactly the kind of place filled with people looking for gossip. The people there had enough money, enough power, and enough of their own business to worry about an actor confessing to his dinner companion. Still, Gyu felt like he had to be careful.
"So… I was wondering if you’d want to… maybe we could, please…" He suddenly frowned. "No, wait. Is it weird to say please in this situation?" God. Mingyu’s confession was turning into a disaster. His thoughts were moving way faster than his mouth. Luckily, Wonwoo was also a complete mess on the inside at that moment.
He had gone completely still, staring at him without saying a word. Surprised. Almost breathless. His heart was beating hard against his chest, like everything he’d been trying to ignore for weeks had suddenly materialized right in front of him.
"Anyway… I want us to be a couple, okay?" Mingyu continued at last, taking a breath like he was about to dive into deep water. "Do you want to be my boyfriend?" Or maybe something more. Like my life partner. That was what he really meant. But he decided to stop there for now.
"Boyfriends?" Wonwoo asked softly, almost like he was testing the word in his mouth, while a smile slowly started blooming across his face.
"Yeah… boyfriends," Gyu confirmed with a small nervous laugh, as if he hadn’t been clear enough.
"Okay. Yes. Let’s be boyfriends," Wonu whispered. And that simple answer made Mingyu smile for real now—a wide, bright smile.
Then the alpha reached his hand across the table, opening his palm silently. Wonwoo hesitated for just a second before placing his own hand over it. Their fingers settled together naturally, as if that gesture had been waiting to happen for a very long time.
And then, a few weeks later, they traveled to Paris. At that moment, Wonwoo was doing Mingyu’s makeup in front of the huge hotel window. But Mingyu couldn’t help himself—he loved Wonu so much. He truly adored him.
And seeing him there, completely focused on his work, leaning in slightly to blend the makeup more carefully into his skin, standing so close to him—with the Eiffel Tower rising behind them like the perfect backdrop… God. It looked like a scene straight out of a movie.
But Mingyu knew that probably wouldn’t be the most epic moment of their relationship. Even so, he would make sure that everything between them was always the best it could be.
"Are we going to the after party together?" Mingyu asked when Wonwoo finally finished his makeup and set the brush down on the table.
Wonu watched him for a few seconds, considering the idea. "You want us to go together? I don’t know… someone might recognize you or something…" he replied cautiously. He was still very careful about their relationship, very aware of how fragile an actor’s career could be if a scandal ever came out.
"You’re part of my staff. No one’s going to think it’s weird if I dance with my makeup artist… or maybe get a little closer," Gyu replied with a playful smile, winking at him.
"Mingyu!" Wonu’s eyes widened slightly, almost scandalized. "We really have to be careful. I don’t want your career to end just because of our relationship." Wonwoo was sensible—he always seemed to be the voice of reason for Mingyu.
The alpha nodded slowly, but even then he leaned forward and stole a quick kiss from him. Just a small one, a light brush of their lips. "Alright, I’ll be patient," he said with a small smile. "But one day we’re going to tell the whole world, okay?" Then he hesitated. Just for a fraction of a second. "And…" Should he say it? Should he just say it already? To hell with it. He was going to say it. "We can start a family someday. Because I would love—really love—our babies." He said it.
But he didn’t look at Wonwoo while he did. His eyes drifted slightly toward the window, as if the view of Paris had suddenly become extremely fascinating.
That alone made Wonwoo’s heart race inside his chest. The omega watched him silently for a few seconds. Then he smiled softly. He lifted his hand and gently rested it against Mingyu’s jaw, guiding his face so he would look at him again.
"I accept," he whispered. And nothing else needed to be said. Right there, he was accepting his destiny—accepting that he also wanted to shout to the world that he loved Gyu. And that when the right moment came, when everything was safe for both of them… he also wanted to build a family where love would never be missing.
