Work Text:
Nico was tired.
After a long day of clearing ghosts for his father, he was exhausted. He knew Will would chide him on not eating, so he decided to stop by Maccas for some food.
If he was honest, he found Maccas alright. He didn't understand the ghosts' love for this greasy but flavourful food, but he supposed if all he could eat with his transparent ghost tastebuds was whatever they provided in the underworld, he'd go berserk for Maccas, too.
He ordered a cheeseburger. The accountant raised an eyebrow at him when he came, and gave him a little glare. In Nico's defence, he did just come back fighting a horde of monsters to get three stubborn spirits to 'move on'. Also, this was Maccas. Who cares if you leave a little monster dust here? Or a whole track of monster dust? The accountant could glare at him all she wanted, but nothing was stopping him from his cheeseburger.
Soon, his reciept number was called.
"216!"
He got up to collect his cheeseburger, and after he aquired his cheeseburger, he sat down to eat.
That's when he noticed the burger was missing its patty.
That was also when he noticed the accountant from earlier eating something suspiciously shaped like a patty.
Screw that accountant, he had to return to camp soon, and couldn't stay for much longer.
He gathered the monster dust in his hair into his hand, and threw it at the accountant once he stormed up to her.
Whatever the mist made the accountant see, it was not good, leaving her screaming for a tissue.
Nico left Maccas more satisfied than he had ever been.
