THE CORE SIX (6)
''i have grown closer to you all. in a way, i see you all as—hm, what's the word?''
''ah, right. i see you all as my family''.
POMNI
(the emotional jester)
''i'm not a child, you don't have to hype me up''.
JAX
(the bipolar bunny rabbit)
''ladies first. wait, why would I say that?''
ZOOBLE
(the mysterious prophet)
''yeah, no. count me out''.
GANGLE
(the underconfident artist)
''it's called a manic episode and you're getting 3 whole seasons''.
KINGER
(the f**king legend)
''in this world, the worst thing you can do is make someone feel like they aren't wanted or loved''.
RAGATHA
(the loving mother hen)
''i wish someone would flirt with me''.
POMNI doesn't know what or how to feel.
her argument with jax has spiraled into something she would've never expected; a heavy and uncomfortable silence from the usually infuriating rabbit. she hates seeing this side of him, knowing there's more to his story than the smug bully he pretends to be. still, she isn't ready to let him off easily. determined to understand him, she begins the long and uneasy journey of trying to make jax open up, just as she once did with her own fears.
JAX is tired, annoyed and in dire need of some sleep.
unfortunately, he can't get either of the three while he's stuck in what he considers literal hell. pomni won't leave him alone after he accidentally opened up to her, ragatha won't stop being a goody two shoes and won't stop checking up on him and his pranks on gangle don't give him the same satisfaction as it used to. maybe it's because of the whispers in his nightmares and the face of his abstracted friend invading his thoughts and slowly making him go insane.
CAINE is trying his very best to put on the brave face of a man who knows no wrong when, in reality, he's unravelling from the inside.
what with him slowly losing his sanity and the other humans slowly losing interest in the adventures he takes great care to design such that they'd enjoy them, he feels like he's slowly losing his purpose. he knows the circus is slowly glitching out and, one way or another, the players would be returned back to their physical bodies. the only question was when it did, what would happen to him?
welcome.
sit back and enjoy the show.
