Chapter Text
“Why do I have like zero survival instincts?”
You clicked through the dialogue, not caring for any of it as you already played through it a million times.
The reason you where even going through it again was because some random person online was talking about some “super secret ending” or whatever. As if you didn’t already complete every rout available.
Still you couldn’t help but go back and follow their tutorial.
“So I’m at the start. . .and click on the third letter on the sign—the hell?”
This was so fake, heck even the user who posted this shitty tutorial had no profile!
Yet you found yourself counting the letters and trying every sign or what looked like one.
You clicked everything already.
Bullshit as you thought.
Of course you knew that’s how it would end but at least it killed boredom.
You looked at screen, the scene that was playing out was the part where Pierrot was getting harassed by some random man.
“I know my ass would be too scared to inter fear. . .”
Honestly thought, who wouldn’t be afraid?! If this happened in real life someone would help at some point! You would rather stay in the sidelines and watch the drama unfold.
Why put yourself in front of a crowd? Imagine all those eyes on you, judging your every move and scrunched of your face, the way your body moved and contorted.
Well they wouldn’t see shit since baggy T-shirts and sweats where your best friend.
You stared at the screen, watching Pierrot on the floor and the 3 options in front of you.
Anyone would chose to intervene, this was a yandere game so of course you want to get into some freaky stuff, that included you as well.
Sure you’re all in for the stalking and killing and the obsessiveness, but you knew damn well if this was real you’d be hella scared. Your virgin ass would jump and scream at anything they’d try to do.
You sighed and stretched out on your chair. It wasn’t a gaming one but it cushioned you just fine so you didn’t care.
“Man, tablets abouta die.”
You tried to click out of the game.
It wouldn’t let you.
You tried again, clicking over and over on the big X button on the top right.
“Did this shitty tutorial give me some bug?!”
You groaned and kept clicking.
“Ugh!”
Nothing worked.
Guess you’re not watching YouTube today.
You slammed your laptop closed and leaned back on the chair. Who needed YouTube on a big screen anyway?
You pulled out your phone and clicked the button on the side.
“The hell?”
It wouldn’t turn on.
Did everything today just hate you or what?
You groaned and threw your phone onto the bed. You had enough of this bullshit.
You opened the laptop again only to find the game still running. Why the hell was this the only thing working?!
You looked at the three options again, intervene, yell at the man, and do nothing.
You almost clicked do nothing out of spite.
Your clicked on intervene.
. . .
Nope still stuck on the same screen.
“Well fuck-“
A sudden flash of bright light engulfed your vision, instinctively making you raise your hands to cover your face.
“What the hell?!”
You closed your eyes, the room felt like it was spinning around you and gravity suddenly felt ten times heavier on your body.
You couldn’t breathe for a good minute.
Everything was white, and then black, and then just nothing. What was happening?!
You kept your eyes closed, if this was the end then you’d rather not see what it looked like.
. . .
“Get out of here you freak!”
A loud smack was heard, and people where taking around you.
What?
You reluctantly opened your eyes, this was not your room anymore.
You where outside, but not your outside. But it looked. . .familiar.
“He just hit him!”
You turned your head at the voice, who was talking?
Then you saw it.
The aggressive man.
The crowd forming around, just watching.
And the clown in the red uniform.
Pierrot.
Oh. My. Gosh.
This can’t be real.
You had to be dreaming.
You pinched yourself. It hurt.
You did it again, still hurt.
“Fuck fuck fuck. . .”
What now? You’re stuck in a visual novel game with clowns! Freaky ass clowns!
How the hell were you not dreaming?! Were you high off air?!
You’ve never done drugs in your life so it’s not that!
Then why the hell did everything feel so real?! Why did this happen?! How did this happen?!
“You’re responsible for all the disappearances!”
You looked back at the scene in front of you.
What now? Do you help or just walk away?
You said you would do nothing, I mean who wouldn’t if they knew what would come from it.
But he looked so pity full, and his backstory was sad.
But did you really want to risk your life and stand up for him? There was already so many people watching. . .there had to be someone who would put and end at some point right?
Yeah, that would happen. No one was cruel enough to just let this continue.
So you reluctantly started to walk away.
One step at a time until the man’s voice faded into nothing.
You did it. . .you completed the first option of the game.
. . .that didn’t feel as bad it you thought.
You wouldn’t get the bad ending from this right?
How the hell would you even get the pink ticket? You didn’t work as a barista or anything! And since the Ticket Taker only went for attractive people you sure as hell where not getting picked.
You breathed a sigh of relief after you finished degrading yourself. For a moment you found yourself relaxing, until it was rudely interrupted by a loud bell noise in your head.
“Ahh!”
Your eyes shot open, and you saw a pink screen in front of you. What the fuck?
“Completed option one, bad ending acquired.”
You where about to scream again but the looks of bystanders made you quickly shut up and awkwardly walk away.
You walked into some random alleyway and looked up at the floating screen in front of you.
What in the isekai was happening?!
You waved your hand in front of you.
It passed right through.
Could anyone else see it? No, probably not considering the weird looks you got.
Damn that was embarrassing.
But what did it mean bad ending?!
It’s not like you would acquire the pink ticket any day! You looked like you just crawled out of bed! Your hair was all frizzy and messy!
The screen changed again.
“We know.”
The hell did that mean?!
“You can hear me?! Where the hell am I then?! How the hell did I get here!”
The screen was loading again, and it gave out a single sentence.”
“Super secret ending.”
Hah.
“I Don’t give a damn about no ending! Bring me back home!”
It spat out a single word this time.
“No.”
“Fuck you mean no?!”
Then a flash of light assaulted your eyes yet again.
“Stop that!”
Your body felt different.
You opened them again and saw that you no longer looked homeless. Instead you had bootcut jeans with black and white platformed sneakers. Your torso now decorated with a sage green floral camisole top with wide shoulder straps and a square neckline. There was also a random ribbon added at the side for esthetics.
You didn’t even want to know what they did with your hair.
Damn this screen had better fashion than you.
“Now you look presentable enough. Go get that ticket to complete the game.”
Complete the game? Could you go back home if you did that?
Before you could ask the screen disappeared, as if sensing your upcoming questions.
You groaned. This made no sense! How was it even possible that you got put into the freak circus?!
What about living expenses? Fuck, where you would sleep?!
“Hey, screen thingy?”
No response.
You said it a bit louder.
Still nothing.
You where not gonna scream it, you’d die from embarrassment.
Guess you’ll ask next time it pops up.
But for now. . .you had to get a pink ticket?
