Chapter Text

Stolas slowly opened his eyes to the day. He sighed and slowly sat up, glad that Stella hadn’t bothered him or woken him up. Probably doing last minute things for the ‘party’ tonight, and didn’t care enough to wake him. Lucifer, he hated the idea of this party. ‘Not divorced yet’ as if that was some sort of thing to brag about, honestly the only reason he was staying was for his daughter, Octavia. But she was almost an adult, perhaps once she was old enough he could finally… get away from Stella. He stood up and sighed as he headed to his closet.

He looked through his clothes, he had checked out of marriage mentally years ago. He had been to so many parties of other goetia and Sins and everything, especially the huge ball that Lucifer and Lilith had thrown when Lucifer had gotten pregnant since there was much more then those in high up positions there, desperately trying to find his true mate to get away from Stella.

He picked out a nice fancy outfit, even more expensive and glorious then the one he normally wore. He set on the bed and stared at it. He had never wanted this, Stella as his Alpha. It had been decided on his eleventh birthday, before he had even started to scent and show what he was. An omega. Not even a beta. His father had basically abandoned him completely when it became apparent. At least he had come around a couple of times before, but once he had scented… he hadn’t seen him since. A male omega, rare, looked down upon, distasteful, outcast among the Goetia who most of the males were alphas, and if not, betas. And Stella, a female alpha. She too should be an outcast, they should have an unbreakable bond as two outcasts in high society together. But yet somehow she was beloved by the other Goetia.

He hated her, hated everything about her. Hated how when she didn’t get her way she often resorted to back hands on places that were easily hidden, unless she was extremely angry. Then she wouldn’t care and would go straight for the face. He had gotten rather good at make up due to years of hiding black eyes, red marks and other things on his face or arms when he couldn’t hide them. He had even completely locked her out when he had his heats after he had egged and had Via, seventeen years ago. He had no want to be touched by her, even when he needed her most.

He was glad on their wedding night he had refused to let her claim him as they consummated their marriage, he had wanted to wait until they actually knew each other and had a true bond. He got dressed and then sat at his vanity, picking up his make up brushes to hide a rather dark red mark on his arm. He also grabbed a bag of fake feathers, the stress had been causing him to over preen and pluck, anywhere he could reach with his beak had bald spots all over it. Now as he was planning his escape, he was ever more grateful he had refused to let her claim him. He was not tied to her in any way, except for Via.

Via. He sighed, how would she take it? He had waited all this time due to his love for her, in hopes she would understand. Stella did not hide her actions, all of the staff had seen her beating him, Via had heard the arguing, seen the abuse, surely sh would understand why he had to do this, even if he hadn’t found his true mate yet. It didn’t matter. He needed to go. He would wait for Via to turn eighteen, and then he would give it a month or two to not overshadow her birthday and happiness. He was already discussing with a sinner who had been a lawyer on Earth and had continued his job down here.

He got up and went to a floor length mirror to check himself out, h twirled. He looked gorgeous. Her trophy. Not much longer now before he wouldn’t b any more. He stepped out of the bedroom to get some breakfast and stay out of Stella’s way. Though he doubted she would hit him now, ruin his look for the party? Doubtful. But he would still be careful.

The sun set and it got darker, the house slowly filled with other Goetia and such. Stolas made sure to make an appearance, show his outfit off, eat some food, but he otherwise stayed against the walls of the room staying out of peoples way. He had no interest in starting a fight with Stella or causing anyone else to really take notice of him or anything. He had been called every name in the book by the othr Goetia. He was so sick of it all, once he got rid of Stella and got her out of his house perhaps h would sell it, go into hiding away from other Goetia, go somewhere they would never find him…

Two Hell hounds came up to him “Sir we saw him sneaking into your bedroom” one of them said, a third hell hound came over and Stolas froze. The scent smelled… metallic almost like a weapon, a hint of gun powder, a clear imp quality like his butlers and maids, and yet it was nothing like anything he had ever scented before. And before he even saw the imp, Stolas knew. His true mate. His Alpha.

The third Hell hound showed the imp. Stolas’ eyes widened, his old friend from his eleventh birthday, before he had scented. Before he could have possibly known.

The red imp stood there looking at him looking just as shocked as he was.

“What do you want us to do with him?” one of his security guards asked. Stolas blinked. What did he want them to do? He wanted them to declare Stella a trespasser and to take her off of the premises immediately, throw all her belongings out of the house and move his old friend right in. But no, no that sounded crazy. He didn’t even remember his name that was twenty years ago at this point!

“I’ll handle him” he said and tried to look stern, but yet for once everything in him felt… at peace. He felt almost giddy. He took the imps hand and started to head up to his bedroom with him, they needed somewhere private to talk. The Imp said nothing and then finally they made it to his room and he closed and the locked the door, finally letting go of the imps hand. He leaned his back against the door and looked down at the red imp. White scars were splattered on his face and arms, burns, his heart broke for his alpha.

“Stolas… I uh…” the imp didn’t seem to know what to say and Stolas felt guilt at not remembering his name when he clearly remembered his.

“How did you know? We hadn’t scented yet. I can’t believe it after all these years, my friend… my alpha” Stolas said softly, a soft smile spreading on his lips. The imp looked uncomfortable.

“Uuuh… a guess honestly haha…” the imp looked around. Stolas smiled.

“Of course, you couldn’t have known but something in you drew you to me.” Stolas stood and went to his bed and sat down on the edge. “Perhaps we could… celebrate finding each other after all this time?” Stolas suggested but paused a moment “Your name was something… funny.. like a clown name” Stolas said in hopes the imp would remind him of his name.

“It’s Blitz now, it used to be Blitzo but the O is silent” he said and paused in his search for a moment “Aren’t you… claimed? Your married to an alpha” he said and looked at him curiously. Stolas shook his head.

“No” his voice was low his eyes glanced down to the crook between his neck and shoulder despite not being able to see it. He used his hand to wipe the make up off, showing the spot as unmarked “make up” he explained and absent mindedly wiped his hand against the bed, he didn’t care. “What are you looking for?” he asked after a few moments and Blitz went back to searching and grabbed his grimoire off of the shelf.

“Uh nothing” he said. Stolas tilted his head at him, he could tell Blitz was lying but he honestly didn’t care. “Doesn’t your alpha keep you… satisfied?” he asked. Stolas sighed and shook his head.

“We haven’t done anything in seventeen years… ravish me, do anything you want” h flopped down onto the bed and after a moment Blitz got on the bed, tying his wrists and ankles to the bed.

“Good thing I always carry protection” Blitz mumbled as he started to use his sharp fingers to take off his clothes.

The next morning Stolas woke up to see Blitz walking out of his bedroom holding his grimoire. He followed him out to see Stella and a couple of friends as Blitz fell right onto their morning tea.

“What was that Stolas!” she screeched. Stolas laughed.

“That! Was the sound of a FUCKING Divorce!” he laughed again “I want you out! Out of my life! Out of this marriage, out of MY house! Get out now!!” luckily the guards from last night were still on the premises, and one of them went over to her and grabbed her arm.

“Lets go” the hell hound said. Stella started to make a fuss but he just laughed and watched.

Oh how wonderful it felt to have his true alpha and gt rid of her!
