The Lantern Roads

Summary:

No map had ever been able to hold the road Elias walked.
Cartographers had tried, once. Ink had traced the coastlines, the valleys, the ridges where clouds slept against the bones of the earth. But somewhere between one village and the next, the lines would blur, curl, and finally disappear—as if the land itself refused to be fixed.
Elias knew better than to trust a map.
He followed memory instead.
And memory, he had learned, was far more dangerous.

Chapter Text

Hii so this is kind of my first story on this website (i have read too much here)

The song 'Home Again' by Blackmore Night is one of my favorites. Yes I did forget about it for a while but i remembered it today and fell in love again. So, like any normal and responsible person, I started writing this instead of revising.............great right?
