Work Text:
Everyone called Izuku a stalker. A creepy one, always following everyone around with that strange smile on his face.
Izuku didn't agree with them at all. Stalking wasn't the right word.
Studying was the right word.
From an early age, he had these strange traits. Izuku loved analyzing people's quirks, but he also analyzed everything. Absolutely everything. He found out what a person likes, what they don't like, their blood type, possible allergies and illnesses, and any weaknesses unrelated to a quirk. All this was called a creepy and terrible occupation. But they have a quirk after all, and Izuku doesn't. Therefore, there is no reason to blame him for anything.
Izuku also had another strange trait... he didn't like when people were hurt. That is, he really wanted to become a hero! But under certain circumstances, he didn't act like himself.
The man who molested his mother? Surprisingly, he was exposed for his criminal activities.
A little boy who was also quirkless was beaten up by kids on the street and no one helped him? Those little kids were getting hurt too.
And a nice old lady. Oh yes... the most beloved and terrifying situation for Izuku.
When Bakugou threw his backpack into a fountain, the entire backpack was soaked with all the textbooks. It was a disaster, and Izuku knew that his teachers would kill him on the spot. However, a nice old lady approached and offered to help! It turned out that her quirk was related to books, and she could easily restore them. Isn't that cool? Izuku was amazed by this quirk and incredibly grateful to this lovely lady, as she had restored everything to perfection. And even better!
Then, a thief bastard stole her purse on the street.
From that moment on, Izuku's life took a different turn.
He began pursuing his prey.
He didn't immediately attack the thief or expose him in any way. Oh, no... He had a different plan in mind: he was waiting, he was studying. He was watching his every move, recording everything. He could see the man's discomfort, he could feel that he was being watched. It brought a sense of immense pleasure to Izuku's chest.
And then, suddenly, the man was found unconscious, with his legs badly broken in an alley. No one from the police was able to figure out how it happened and who is the one who did it. No one could even think of what a weak, unreasonable 11-year-old child could do. All that mattered to Izuku was that this bastard wouldn't steal anything from this lovely lady now.
Stalking? Well, maybe a little bit. Although Izuku will continue to call it studying and protecting loved ones.
Izuku walked, almost bouncing with each step as he made his way to a familiar cafe that was close to his home. He hummed softly to himself, imagining who he would see in the cozy little cafe. A wide smile appeared on his face, and his heart suddenly began to race.
Aizawa-san... Or the owner of that little cafe.
When Izuku's mother died, he was 12 years old. Her death was a pain for him, but it wasn't just a pain. It was a feeling like something had been torn out of his soul. Like something precious had been taken away from him. And that's exactly what happened. From that moment on, he took care of himself. His father sent him a lot of money, but he never showed up or even called. Izuku didn't have any attachment to that man. The only thing he could say was thank you for the money.
Now he was attached to Aizawa-san. This man had helped Izuku with his wounds when he ran into his cafe trying to escape from bullies! Yes, discrimination is terrible, and at that moment he was truly scared, but after that gentle look from the man, something inside Izuku turned around, and a small voice whispered in his ear.
Now this man would be under his protection.
Izuku entered the building. It was very cozy here, the tones of the walls were pleasant and soft: brown. Wherever possible, there were small figurines in the form of cats. This seemed even more comfortable for Izuku, because he himself had a weakness for these creatures.
He stood on the threshold for a second longer, held his breath, and adjusted the collar of his school uniform, making sure that the edge of the bandage on his neck was not visible. Only then did he take a step inside. His gaze swept over the figurines. In his mind, he counted them: one, two, three... Oh! There was a new one on the table by the window that hadn't been there the previous day. It was a light orange figurine with a raised tail and large green eyes. Izuku noted this in his mind and looked up at the man behind the counter.
His chest warmed up again. The man gave him a small smile, so tiny, but Izuku knew it was genuine. Izuku smiled brightly and waved his hand at the man, his fingers trembling with excitement.
"Hello, Aizawa-san! How are you doing?"
He approached the counter, resting his forearms on the countertop. With his left hand, he unconsciously began to draw or write on the smooth surface, as if it were a notebook, which seemed to calm him. Meanwhile, his right hand discreetly slipped under the counter, feeling for the small tape recorder. He did not pick it up, but instead used the pad of his index finger to press the record button, checking to see if it was still in place.
Of course, it was still in place.
The man nodded slightly. "Hello, Midoriya. I have everything as usual. How are you?" he looked at Izuku carefully, seemingly trying to find any sign of a bruise. Aizawa's gaze lingered on his cheeks, then dropped to his chin and rested on his left ear for a second. Izuku felt a tingle in that place under the layer of makeup. He swallowed.
It's not visible. It shouldn't.
Izuku was too good at hiding it, he admitted. He tilted his chin slightly to the right and tilted his head to the side, exposing his clean, unmade-up cheek to the light, and stretched his lips into an even brighter smile.
"I'm fine! Classes ended earlier, so I came here early," he blurted it out much louder than he had planned, and he was startled by his own voice. Izuku didn't control it sometimes.
Aizawa only looked suspiciously at Izuku for a second, and then he grinned briefly and turned his back, starting to take his usual order: cocoa with marshmallows. His mom used to make him cocoa..
Izuku exhaled. He still had his right hand under the counter, his fingers running over the recorder. Midoriya had left the recorder here to listen and make sure the man was okay. To his slight disappointment, he always heard silence, only interrupted by other customers. Although, maybe that was a good thing. It meant the man was doing well.
Izuku also did this for another reason...
"Aizawa-san, what's your quirk?", Izuku asked, as he had asked all the previous times, but he already knew what the answer would be. His fingers paused on the recorder, waiting.
The man shook his head without turning around. "You won't be interested," he replied, sounding bored but not casual. It was as if he was hiding it. Izuku bit his lower lip. He knew perfectly well that he was hiding it.
Why? Is unknown. Izuku didn't really understand it, but he was certain that the man had some kind of cool quirk. But he never pushed the subject, so maybe it was a topic he didn't like to talk about.
Izuku blinked, and a paper cup of cocoa was placed in front of him. Aizawa turned the cup so that the cat-shaped label faced away from Izuku, revealing a clean brown surface with no unnecessary details. Izuku noticed this, as he noticed everything.
The drink smelled as good as ever. Izuku inhaled the scent, taking the cup with one hand and reaching for his credit card with the other. His fingers found the edge of the plastic in his trouser pocket.
He brought the cup to his lips and sipped the cocoa.
Then he froze.
His entire body turned to stone. The cup was frozen a millimeter from his lower lip. His fingers gripped the cardboard. Cinnamon. It wasn't just cinnamon. It was that spicy flavor he could recognize from a thousand others. The one his mother used to add to his cocoa, a pinch, a tiny pinch, but he could always tell it from any other. His throat tightened. Izuku swallowed once, then twice, but it was difficult, as if he were swallowing shards instead of saliva.
It felt like shards of his old memories, the ones he had tried so hard to forget.
He looked carefully at the paper cup. Then at Aizawa. Then back at the cup. The hand that held the card in his pocket clenched into a fist. His nails dug into his palm through the fabric of his trousers.
"Midoriya, are you all right?"
Izuku flinched. His entire body twitched, and the cocoa sloshed inside the glass, almost spilling over the edge. He jerked his head up. Aizawa was staring at him, his eyes filled with confusion. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed. His head was tilted slightly to the left.
Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat, which had suddenly formed, and forced a smile. It was crooked, and he quickly corrected it to make it straighter. If that was even possible.
"Yes... I just remembered something," he muttered, placing his cup on the counter and quickly paying for his order. His fingers didn't let go of the glass, they lay on top, gripping the rim, as if it would fall. Or disappear. Or that this beautiful taste would disappear with it.
Mom–
He didn't mention the cinnamon. He just clenched his jaw a little and forced himself to exhale. It was just a coincidence. Maybe the man had decided to change the cocoa and unknowingly made it the same as his mother's once upon a time.
Aizawa-san shouldn't worry about him. He should be happy. And Izuku should stop thinking about his mother.
"I think I'll go. See you tomorrow!" he replied quickly, putting a smile back on his face. He was no longer trembling. Almost.
The man didn't press him, although he continued to stare at him. Izuku took a step back before turning around. On the threshold, he turned over his left shoulder and waved goodbye. Then he closed the door behind him. He paused for a moment at the door on the street. His hand gripped the door handle until his knuckles turned white.
Then he sighed, let it go and walked towards the house. As always, he'll do his homework, think about how to get into UA, make himself dinner, maybe even katsudon.
And make sure that by the end of the work, Aizawa-san will be on a specific bus in good condition.
Izuku had memorized the bus schedule and knew which bus the person was on. What Izuku didn't know was the address. It was strange, wasn't it? He was confused himself. Every time he followed an adult, he would abruptly disappear from view when they got off the bus. It was as if they became invisible! It was annoying, but also intriguing.
So Izuku decided to give up on that and just watched Aizawa-san get on the bus, then slowly walked home, enjoying the evening air and the quirks around him.
Today is Izuku's birthday. Surprisingly, it was very sunny outside, with not a single cloud in the sky. There was a cool yet warm breeze, and the sun wasn't scorching. Izuku was surprised because usually on his birthday, the weather was cloudy and gray, just like his days at school. After his mother's death, he had almost forgotten about his birthday. Until he entered the coffee shop.
"Happy birthday, Midoriya."
Izuku froze on the doorstep, staring at the man with wide eyes. His fingers were still on the doorknob. There was a slight uncertainty on his face, as if he was wondering if he had done the right thing. Izuku blinked, realizing that he was still standing on the doorstep, and quickly walked over to the counter.
"I... I didn't expect this," Izuku muttered under his breath, but Aizawa definitely heard him, as he chuckled.
Izuku smiled. He took a deep breath. It felt even more pleasant and warmer in his chest. Practically no one remembered his birthday. Even his own father. And Aizawa-san? He remembered everything.
"I have a gift for you." He said casually, but he sounded reluctant. Maybe it was because he looked like a grumpy person and didn't want to show his gentleness, which Izuku has known for a long time.
The man turned around and picked up a box from the bedside table behind - his movements were slow. Carefully, he placed it on the counter right in front of Izuku. His fingers squeezed the edges with extraordinary tenderness before releasing them. Izuku looked at him with confusion, and Aizawa jerked his head towards the box.
The box was small, dark green in color, matching Izuku's hair color and with a gray ribbon tied around it.
A childish excitement began to ignite in Izuku's chest. The small embers of past joyful memories from his birthday days began to re-ignite and flare up. His stomach was also filled with anticipation.
Izuku reached out and untied the gray ribbon to open the box. His fingers trembled with excitement. Inside, he was greeted by a surprise.
"Is that a cat figurine?"
Izuku held up a small black cat figurine with red beady eyes. He turned it over in his hands. Izuku examined every little detail with fascination, absorbing it all with his attention. This figurine was made of the same material as the others.
Yes, Izuku had touched those cats. But this one seemed so special.
Izuku looked up at the man and gave him the biggest smile he could muster. His eyes watered with happiness, but he fought back tears by blinking rapidly.
"Thank you very much, Aizawa-san!" he thanked him warmly, bowing slightly and clutching the figurine closer to his chest.
The man gave him a slightly wider smile than usual, and then began making Izuku's cocoa.
Izuku held the cat figurine closer to him, rubbing his thumb over its smooth back. He quickly checked the recorder with his free hand, and it was still in place. His hand quickly withdrew. Izuku didn't think about it anymore, but only about the gift and his inner happiness.
A few minutes later, Izuku was presented with a cocoa. It was the same cocoa, with the same cinnamon, which Izuku had reluctantly become accustomed to. He placed the cat back in the box and grabbed the cocoa with one hand. Izuku was about to remove the card, but Aizawa stopped him with a hand gesture.
Izuku raised an eyebrow, "But Aizawa-san–"
"Consider it another birthday gift," he cut Izuku off, pointing his palm at the cup.
Izuku didn't want to argue, even though he should have. His little voice inside was telling him that it was better to pay so that the man could have a good life, but the joy of the moment was stronger. He nodded slightly, grabbed his glass, and headed towards the door, taking a sip of his drink as he went.
He turned on his heel and waved at the man, but it was so awkward that he almost spilled the entire drink. The man suppressed a slight chuckle, even though Izuku had already noticed it.
Izuku opened the door, stepped outside, and walked home, overwhelmed by thoughts and memories of the past.
For a moment, a sad smile touched his lips.
His mother would have been so happy if there was someone by Izuku's side who could take care of him. But Izuku wasn't Aizawa's son. He had to stop thinking about it.
He took another sip of cocoa and gripped the cup and the box tighter.
Strange things started to happen...
Izuku noticed it right away. He always noticed. His eyes immediately caught the slightest change in his life. One day everything was normal, and on the second everything went down.
When it was Izuku's birthday, he put the figurine in the most visible place on the same day: in the living room, on the table. And he immediately told it his whole life. He talked nonstop for hours, sitting on the floor with his arms wrapped around himself, until he realized that he was crying, either from happiness or from sadness. He just needed to talk.
He also talked about Aizawa. He talked about how good he was. He talked about how he had been following him. He even theorized about Aizawa's quirk.
The next day, things started to happen: his classmates stopped looking at him. Their eyes were looking anywhere but at him. And if they were looking at him, they were nervous.
Even when he deliberately pushed one of them, nothing bad happened. The student jerked away from him as if from an electric current and went in a different direction.
Izuku was no longer as fearful after all the events in his life. Although at the moment, he was scared. And not even because of these events.
Someone was watching him. He knew that.
When Izuku was walking, after secretly watching Aizawa board the bus, he felt the hairs on his neck standing on end. The back of his neck tingled, but every time he searched, he found nobody.
He even changed his route home! At first he walked in zigzags, then he almost walked around the whole area! There was someone behind him every time. But there was no one there.
He was checking the apartment for bugs. He explored every corner! He closed the curtains very tightly, and sometimes he woke up at night with this strange feeling, but there was no one outside the window. For many nights, he couldn't sleep, and he sat there, listening to the sounds. Only the wind blowing through the windows made him shudder.
These events were frightening.
And then he had a question: was this how his classmates, his victims, felt when he was spying on them?
He suddenly didn't feel confident anymore.
He felt like prey.
Izuku sat at the kitchen table, alone and in silence. His hand idly pushed his food around with a fork, scattering vegetables across the plate. Katsudon. He loved it so much, but he had no appetite right now. His stomach was tight, not from hunger, but from anxiety. Izuku listened to the clock on the wall with one ear. Tick, tock. As the clock ticked, he rocked his leg under the table and tapped his left hand on the table.
This was the first time he hadn't gone to see Aizawa off. Today, he felt so anxious from the surveillance that he decided to skip one day. Izuku felt bitter about it, but he tried to think of the good things. He froze and looked at his fingers, which were tapping - they were trembling.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Izuku's body jerked at the sudden knock on the door. Involuntarily, the hand opened and the fork fell out of his hands, hitting the plate. He turned his head sharply in the direction of the sound. Who was it? He wasn't expecting anyone. Holding his breath, he sat and waited for the sound to come again.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Izuku flinched again. The sound was much louder this time. His heart was racing in his chest with anxiety. But he forced himself to stand up from the chair, which almost fell over, and made his way to the door on shaky legs.
His fingers hovered just a few inches away from the doorknob. For a few seconds, he stood still, afraid to touch it. It was as if he would be burned if he did. But maybe there's nothing wrong with it? Maybe he's overreacting?
Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat. His pale, cold, and trembling hand touched the lock. Under his pressure, the latch clicked, and he slowly opened the door.
"Y-Yes?" Izuku poked his head out a little. His gaze immediately fell on a man standing against the wall, swaying from side to side.
It was his neighbor. Izuku remembered this man. He didn't like him much, he was a nasty guy.
The man also seemed to be drunk, as he smelled of alcohol and had a reddish complexion. Izuku's nose wrinkled at the unpleasant odor, but he tried to maintain a calm demeanor. The man's eyes were unfocused, although they were fixed on Midoriya.
Izuku's heart began to race, but he tried to be as polite as possible. He forced a trembling smile, bowed his head slightly, and cleared his throat.
"H-Hello. Do you need something?" Izuku asked quietly and carefully. His fingers were squeezing and un squeezing the doorknob. In his head, he was telling himself to hope.
The man was going to leave. He must have made a mistake.
But unfortunately, the man didn't leave. Instead, he took a step closer. He was leaning against the wall with one hand, trying to maintain his balance. Izuku thought that if he let go of the wall, he would surely fall to the floor.
"Boy, we need to talk," he muttered in a barely audible voice, looking at him with disgust.
Izuku felt so terrible that his stomach turned over. Nausea rose in his throat.
"The adults are not at home. I can't help you..." Izuku quickly replied and started to close the door.
A foot was placed right on the threshold. The shoe crashed into a tree. The man shook his head, looking more annoyed now. Izuku's heart jumped, and the door was abruptly opened. The man staggered into the apartment, and Izuku began to step back, simultaneously searching for an object with which he could defend himself.
The only thing that came to his mind was a vase. A white vase decorated with small blue flowers, made of fragile material. His mom's favorite vase. She probably won't be too angry? He's going to defend himself! But to do this, he needs to get to the living room, and this is also the way.
Izuku turned around and rushed into the room. He didn't think to turn on the light, and it was already dark outside. It was a bad idea, as he almost tripped over the rug five times while his hands were frantically searching for the table and the vase. Eventually, he found it. His hands closed around the smooth and familiar object. Hope flared in his chest, but as soon as he turned around, an object was snatched from his hands.
He cried out in surprise and the vase fell down, shattering into pieces. The ringing echoed in his ears.
Mom's vase shattered before it could even protect him...
Izuku looked up from the pieces on the floor and heard the words...
"You don't seem to have been raised..."
... before a fist flew into Izuku's face. The fist hit his nose. The impact was so strong that it forced Izuku to take a step back and fall. He tried to grab onto the table with his hand, so his body didn't hit the floor as hard. However, the back of his head still made contact with the ground, and it felt like something had snapped. His ears started ringing.
The taste of metal filled his mouth. It was an unpleasant and strange sensation, lingering on his tongue and sticking to the back of his throat. It was a familiar taste, but it was even more frightening.
Izuku slowly turned his head towards the table. His head ached, and his eyelids felt heavy. He saw the blurry figurine of the cat that Aizawa had given him. One moment he saw the cat so clearly, and the next he wasn't sure if it was there. His hand reached out and was able to grab a smooth object, as if it could help and calm down.
Izuku's hand was grabbed, the figurine was taken away, and his arm was thrown back. He didn't have the strength to try to take it away. Izuku sniffled, his eyes blurry, but he could see the outline of his gift in the man's hands. Then the figurine was thrown to the floor and shattered right in front of Izuku's eyes. The sound was just like his mother's vase.
But it made him feel worse.
The sobs rose in his throat. Suddenly, he felt small and weak again. Just like he did when he was four years old after the doctor's words. Just like he did after his mother's death.
No, all this silly stalking was just a defense, and he failed.
He could see the shadow and silhouette of a man directly above him. A minute later, a kick hits his chest, and a shoe hits him hard. The air flew out of his lungs, his ribs creaked with pain, and he sobbed pitifully.
Izuku covered his face with his hands and curled into a ball.
His mom. She would be upset that he would pass away so early. Izuku knew that the man would kill him: people in a drunken state always do stupid things, especially someone like his neighbor.
And what about Aizawa-san? He would probably wonder why Izuku hadn't come.
These thoughts made his heart ache. His hand reached for the remains of the figurine, and he ran his thumb over the cat's smooth face, feeling the coldness on his skin. He heard some words and curses from the man, but he didn't even try to remember them.
If he died, he wanted to feel something good.
Izuku slightly opened his eyes, taking one last look at the remains of the figurine. It was almost completely shattered, with only the head remaining intact.
He took a shaky breath, heard the man's next swing, and prepared himself.
But out of the corner of his eye, he noticed something strange near the figurine's head. It was small and slightly reflective from the light coming from the street. It looked like metal and had some kind of threads...
....
Wait, are those wires?
Before Izuku could think about it any longer, he heard the sound of a gunshot. It was similar to the sound he had heard in movies. Short and quick. Murderous. And then a body fell nearby. The sound of something heavy falling, but most importantly, it didn't make any noise at all.
Suddenly, the smell of blood filled the air. The vomit was closer to his throat.
Goosebumps ran down his spine, and then cold sweat appeared on his forehead. He couldn't turn his head due to the pain, but he wouldn't have turned it anyway. He was trembling and afraid.
He also didn't understand who fired the shot.
There was silence in the apartment for a couple of minutes, as if no one was there. The sound of Izuku's racing heart was the only thing that resonated in his ears. He was scared to death, but he forced himself to take his hands off and look at the person who was definitely standing next to him.
He wasn't mistaken.
There was another person standing over the man's lying body. In the darkness, Izuku couldn't see him clearly, but he could tell that the person was wearing dark clothing, and there was something flying around their neck. Was it a rope? Could a rope fly, or was it some kind of device? And then there were the eyes. Red, burning eyes were staring at him.
Izuku was afraid to move, the gaze burning through him. And to Izuku's shock, it burned just like the gaze he felt on his back every time, even though there was no one behind him.
The man moved. Slowly. As slowly as a cat stalking its prey. His shoes made a metallic sound, the soles clicking together. And then he stopped right next to Izuku's trembling body, creating a tense atmosphere.
The man sat down abruptly, and Izuku winced. The glow of red dimmed, and his eyes turned dark. And familiar.
Izuku began to blink, trying to focus his vision in order to get a better look at the stranger. He finally realized that the flying gray thing was a scarf, and the dark clothing was a black jumpsuit. But that wasn't the most important thing.
In front of him was Aizawa-san...
He was looking into the same tired, familiar eyes, but there was something different about them. It was a strange, wild glint, just like a real cat's eyes when it sees a mouse.
"Ai...zawa?", Izuku sobbed, unable to properly pronounce the word.
The man did not expect this. He merely tilted his head slightly to the side, observing Izuku's futile attempts with interest.
It was the same movement as in the cafe...
Pale fingers reached out to Izuku and cupped his tear-stained face, gently squeezing but not causing any further harm. His eyes darted over every detail of Izuku, just like in the cafe, but now he had more access.
His eyes narrowed and his teeth clenched, and Izuku thought he heard a growl, although it might have been a snort or something else that he couldn't define. Midoriya had never heard such a sound before.
Izuku's body was pressed against the man's. One hand was slightly behind his head, holding his head, and the other was on his back. Izuku made a broken sob sound, somewhere between a sob and hysterical laughter, and grabbed the man's black clothes with his fingers like a lifeline. Aizawa didn't say anything about Izuku getting blood on him.
"You guessed it, didn't you?" he whispered a question in his ear that sounded more like a statement.
Aizawa-san knew what Izuku was thinking.
And Izuku was now aware of how Aizawa had been following him, probably knowing about the recorder, but not saying anything, and how he had easily hidden himself so that Izuku wouldn't find him at the bus stop. He had also placed the device in the figurine and was following him.
It's just that Izuku thought he was cunning, but Aizawa was more cunning. And from a little predator, Izuku turned into prey...
Suddenly, the fingers moved away from the back of his head and stroked Izuku's curls. A slow movement, so gentle.
It reminded Izuku of his mother...
"You were so cute when you were trying to hide your bruises, or when you were so happy that I didn't see the recorder under the counter. Or when you're frowning, trying to find me in the crowd." the man whispered in my ear again, this time his voice was very different from that of the man from the cafe.
From the voice of Aizawa-san, whom Izuku knew so well.
Izuku sniffed, tears streaming down his face. The man clicked his tongue, his hand left his curls and began to wipe Izuku's tears from his face. It was only now that Izuku could see the expression on Aizawa's face.
He was smiling, but not like he had in the cafe. It was a wide, toothy smile filled with possessiveness. The smile of a man who had gotten his way.
Surprisingly, Izuku wasn't as afraid of the older man.
"Now, now. There's no need to cry. Your games of spying must have tired you out, hmm? I know. I heard every word," the man's face flashed with anger, but he quickly concealed it.
He suddenly brought his face closer to Izuku's, pressing his forehead against it. However, his smile softened, causing Izuku's rapid heartbeat to calm down.
"Izuku, you're not like everyone else," he paused for a moment, then added, "You're special."
Izuku wanted to say that his behavior scared others, but even if he could, he wouldn't be allowed to say so.
"You're just like me. Just smaller and cuter."
For the first time, a slight laugh escaped Izuku's lips. Just like him? Yes... they were both like that. Izuku was watching Aizawa, and the man was watching him.
After a few seconds of silence, the man stood up, holding Izuku tightly in his arms. Izuku buried his face in the man's shoulder. He smelled like the coffee shop, with a hint of coffee and cinnamon, but mixed with blood.
His head started to hurt less. Maybe it wasn't that bad?
His body was carried to the exit and further from the depths of the apartment, away from the neighbor's body, which was still bleeding, although it did not move. Izuku didn't want to look at him anymore, even if he couldn't look away right away. Aizawa noticed this, as he ran his palm through Izuku's curls again, distracting him.
"I'll deal with him. But let's go home first. I've been waiting for a long time."
Izuku didn't resist or even scream. He felt calmer and even better knowing that someone would be there for him. And that someone would be Aizawa-san. Izuku wouldn't have to keep an eye on him all the time if he was around.
Izuku felt a kiss on his temple. A smile appeared on his lips.
"Don't worry, daddy won't let anyone hurt you."
I don't know why, but I felt like writing this:
1. Izuku and All Might.
Izuku: Oh my God, I'm going to get a quirk from my idol and become a hero! I'm going to protect him too!
All Might: I like this young man's attitude!
*Aizawa, meanwhile..*
Aizawa: How can I kill Hero Number One quickly and painlessly?
*In the end, Aizawa won't be able to do anything, and Izuku won't let him touch his idol.*
2. Izuku and Tomura's encounter.
Izuku: Why are you here!?
Tomura: To kill All Might, actually, and to ask for an autograph from your father.
Izuku: My father is in Am– MY FATHER?!
Tomura: Yes, now give me the autograph.
3. The relationship between AFO and Izuku.
Izuku: I have an irresistible feeling to watch over those I love and protect them at all costs, even if I have to hurt someone.
AFO: This student reminds me of myself when I was young.
Aizawa: This child wants to do good for people, but you are the embodiment of evil.
4. Izuku and Present Mic
Izuku: I love analyzing quirks, and I want to have a device that looks like a scarf. And I like cats!
Present Mic: He reminds me of someone...
