THE DAY VOX FELL
[It was a day unlike any other. With the aid of Emily, Sera and Sir Pentious, Charlie was able to convince all of Hell that she was telling the truth and Vox lied about redemption being impossible. The Might of Lilith was destroyed and both Hell and Heaven were saved from war.]
Charlie: "Ah! Emily, holy fuck, we did it! (she hugs Emily while she's squealing, Emily grabs Vaggie and they both smile with Charlie and laugh happily) The power of friendship is strong within us!"
[Charlie, Vaggie and Emily embrace each other in a hug of happiness, but then Lucifer emerges from the ground, having been broken free and given his power back from the machine's destruction and is barely standing.]
Charlie: "Dad?"
Lucifer: (coughs) "Don't go down there; it's a place of pain."
[He groans, but then he looks up and sees Charlie just standing there staring at him, with a horrified look upon her face. Vaggie stares at Charlie, knowing that Lucifer was injured from being used as the Might of Lilith’s battery, she saw Charlie looking at what happened to her father after she yelled at him to leave the hotel.]
Lucifer: "Honey? You okay?"
[Vaggie’s face soon turns to worry as Charlie rushes to Lucifer’s side as he collapses to the ground. The King of Hell looked so weakened.]
Charlie: "Dad!"
Lucifer: (groans) "Don’t worry, everything’s fine down here. Oh shit, I think I heard something crack."
[Lucifer then looks surprised as Charlie hugs him tightly with tears in her eyes. Lucifer also begins to tear up, mostly from whatever pain he’s feeling, then hears Charlie speaking to him.]
Charlie: (crying) "I’m so sorry!"
Lucifer: "No honey… I shouldn’t have acted on my own. I should have listened to you, I definitely fucked it all-"
Charlie: "NO! It was all my fault. I didn’t listen to you… ANY of you."
Vaggie: "Charlie-"
Charlie: "Because of me and my damn pride, I pushed you and everyone away. I never meant anything I said… I’m so sorry… I’m the one who messed everything up. Vox was right, I’m a pale imitation of my mother… I don’t deserve to be a princess."
[Lucifer was shocked to hear that last part, hearing Charlie putting herself down like this and feeling like she doesn’t deserve her title. Vaggie looked on, also shocked at hearing her girlfriend thinking her position wasn’t deserved. Emily as also shocked, she never thought she’d see Charlie look more miserable than anyone she’s met.]
Lucifer: "Charlie don’t say that. You were hurt and under so much pressure. You don’t have to be hard on yourself-"
Charlie: "PLEASE! I don’t deserve any of it!"
Lucifer: "Charlie…"
Charlie: "I’ll do better next time… I promise. I love you so much, dad."
Lucifer: "I love you too. Charlie, no matter what you think about yourself, remember that you’re the only good thing that came from this Hell, from the punishment I was given by Heaven."
[Emily looks shocked upon hearing what Lucifer said. She knew he was banished, but was this being done to him as a result?]
Charlie: "Vaggie, Emily, help me. We need to get him back to the hotel."
Vaggie: "I gotcha, babe. Emily? Help us."
Emily: "Oh, right."
[Vaggie and Emily helped Lucifer to his knees and flew him back to the hotel as Charlie followed them. Sera looked on, seeing the damage done to Lucifer from his banishment. She knew that he didn’t deserve this, she has made many mistakes in her life, especially with the exterminations, but she knows she needs to start making things right. At the very least, better than they were before. Charlie looked on as Emily and Vaggie carried Lucifer back to the Hazbin Hotel with Alastor, Niffty, Baxter, Husk and Cherri following them.]
PRESENT DAY
[The scene cuts back to the present day. It’s been days since the fall of Vox. Valentino took charge of VoxTech with the purpose of renaming it, Emily got a new prosthetic wing and was appointed by Sera as an ambassador for the souls in the Hotel will be redeemed and ascend to Heaven like Pentious did, and the Hazbin Hotel has been getting more guests who decided to stay there for the right reasons this time. Scene cuts to Charlie sitting in her bedroom, ever since the hotel started getting new guests, she appointed Vaggi as the new manager of the hotel while she worked as the head counselor to guide her guests towards a path of redemption. But Charlie can’t help but still feel guilty over what happened to her dad, she blames herself for his condition, with Lucifer injured and weakened, Hell might not have their king for a while. The door opens to reveal Vaggi coming in.]
Vaggi: "Hey, babe. I was looking all over the hotel for you. We got 20 new guests who arrived today. I’ve never seen the hotel so crowded before. I asked Niffty and Husk to see if they could hire extra hands, we sure could… hey, are you okay?"
[Vaggi notices Charlie holding her crown with her phone next to her.]
Charlie: "Am I worthy of being a princess?"
Vaggi: "Charlie. It’s been days since Vox’s defeat. You gotta get over that. What he said isn’t true."
Charlie: "I know, but it still hurts. What if that’s why mom left? Because I was nothing like her or dad? That my dreams were just ridiculous and a joke?"
Vaggi: "Charlie… what’s going on?"
Charlie: "My mom just called me. For the first time in 8 years— Vaggi, she called me! She told me she heard about what I did. She’s proud and she’s coming back home to see me and dad. Why now? You think she heard about his condition? What if she’s coming back because I messed up again?"
Vaggi: "Babe, you can’t keep putting yourself down like this. Charlie, you are a princess and a damn good one. I know you made a lot of mistakes during the whole debacle with The Vees and a possible war with Heaven, but things are better now."
Charlie: "But Angel Dust is still gone, and my dad is still weak from being used as a battery. Things only got better for us because you stepped up to keep my dream alive and Emily got everyone to see Pentious and believe in redemption. Two angels did a better job than I ever did."
[Vaggi looks saddened by Charlie thinking like this, thinking that she didn’t contribute to helping the Hotel and getting everyone in Hell to believe in redemption, thinking she and Emily deserved all the credit then she did. Vaggi then hugged Charlie from behind leaning on her.]
Vaggi: "Hermosa, you were there with us too. This dream of yours, it’s something we both made together, when you saw me showing you kindness after you healed me, before we started dating; you saw that redemption was possible. You saw that there was a better way to save your people, we made this dream together. You’re a part of this as much as me and Emily are. The three of us, even Alastor and the whole crew, we made this dream a reality. You deserve as much credit as we do. We will find a way to free Angel and your dad will recover, and I promise that when your mom gets back, she will be so proud of you."
[Charlie inhales and exhales as she finally calms down, leaning into Vaggi’s arms and they lie down on the bed together. Charlie looks at Vaggi and rubs her face as they both blush at each other, warmly smiling.]
Charlie: "You always know what to say to give me hope."
Vaggi: "Because I know you. More than anyone else does."
Charlie: (sighs happily) "I want you to rule beside me."
Vaggi: (chuckles awkwardly) "Excuse me, sweetie?"
Charlie: "Vaggi, one day I will ascend to the throne and become a queen. My parents will retire and give me the throne, I want to have you as my queen consort. There’s no one I’d have to rule by my side than you, mi amor."
Vaggi: "We already found love in Hell, the rest is easy, baby. I would be honored to be your queen consort one day."
