Chapter Text
His helm felt fuzzy, his legs hurting from the hard ground. It was too bright in the room, with gold all over it, the sun hitting said gold and the metal of the other bots around him, all of this was just making his helm hurt more. All B-127 knows, he was trying to fight some bot before getting knocked out and ending up here. Oh, and D-16, one of his friends, was also here, so B wasn't all that alone. Well he isn't really alone either way because of half or more of the High Guard is also around them, which includes Starscream, but that's besides the point.
He turned his helm to look at D. D looked pissed, even more then when they found out that Sentinel betrayed Iacon and the 13 Primes. D was venting heavy while looking at the wall, his orange optics just staring off into the distance. Wait, weren't they yellow? B couldn't remember to be fair, he doesn't really remember life before sub-50 beside some bits here and there. As B stared at D, he heard that big door open, then heard the tap of Sentinels pedes on the ground as he walked to the front of the room, then, he heard someone yelling.
"You are a fake prime! Once Iacon finds out, you'll be banished from-" Starscream's voice sounded worst when he yelled, especially after D damaged his voice box.
"Shut up, you sound stupid." He heard Sentinel's smug voice say, cutting off Starscream, rude. He walked to the front of the room, turning around to take a look at them. B hated the bot, Sentinel ruined bots so they could mine until they die, then give their energon to the Quintessons, it was something terrible that he thought no one could do, but, he was wrong. As B stared at him, he also took note of his spider guard, Airachnid, and wondered if she'll try to hurt them too. B felt anger at how long he and so many others were being lied to, and felt like he had to do something.
"You lied to us all for 50 cycles, took our t-cogs and forced us to mine til we drop! You're not a leader, you're a phony! I want you dead!" B yelled at him. Sentinel walked to him, leaning down.
"But who will tell them? Because you all will executed infront of the city as traitors, and everyone will believe it, because they believe me, and if they can't, then who will they turn to when they get attacked? They'll remember me as a hero who fought for his city, and you all will never be remembered, just forgotten as time goes on. Because the truth is what I make it."
D-16 stood up, still staring at the wall, still very pissed off. Everybody turned to look at him. B knew something bad would happen, B knew Sentinel would hurt D, and B knew he couldn't do anything to stop him.
"What's this? Trying to be a good guy, huh?" Then, Sentinel glanced at the Megatronus sticker on D's shoulder pad. "Megatronus fan, huh? I get that, he's the best fighter, that's why I took his t-cog." He opened his chest plate, showing Megatronus his t-cog to D. Then, without warning, he pushed D down, then the spider guard gave Sentinel a sword thing, then drawing a horrible Megatronus drawing on him, sparks flying as D yelled in pain, D lied there for a second after it was done. Sentinel looked at B staring, then walked to him.
"You're terrible! Not only do you take away our t-cogs, but you hurt u-" B felt one servo wrap around his neck as the other dug into it, digging, and finding, and ripping out his voice box, the pink energon gushing out, before he felt the white flash of pain. He heard D yell something, or at least he think it was D, before B crumpled to the floor, a pool spreading around him.
"You talk too much bug. That's why you were sent to Sub-50. You weren't meant to talk, just obey like anyone else, yet, you could mess up every task they gave you, I mean, how stupid are you!?" Sentinel stabbed him in the leg with his sword, then near his spark, just missing his too quickly dulling spark. Sentinel raised the sword again when a train hit the tower.
He felt the handcuffs pull off as someone dragged him away. Gunfire flew over them as this someone transformed, flying with B on them.
"Idiot, that's what you are. A stupid, fragging idiot. Yelling at Sentinel when he was that close, do you have a death wish!?" Starscream yelled at him, a very high pitched Starscrem yelled at him actually. They landed on a building, Starscream transformed back, and laid B down. He put his hands on the wounds on his neck and spark chamber. "Your leg isn't bleeding to heavy so I'm not going to deal with that." B tried to ask him why, but Starscream just shushed him. "Quiet, you were just got your voice box ripped out, you are in no way to talk right now, and I know that must be hard for you." Once the bleeding wasn't as bad, Starscream got up. "Stay here, I'll collect you once we win the battle.
B tried to say something when Starscream transformed and flew away, but B passed out before he could do anything.
The next time B-127 woke up, Starscream was holding him up. B looked up where everyone else was looking, and saw his friends! Except, Orion looked different, taller and more shiny, and D looked different too, maybe his helm changed, who knows. He's ask them once everything quiet downs.
"Fine, Prime, I'll go, but I'm taking B-127 with me." D turned around. Orion looked shocked, turning to find B being held by Starscream, opening his mouth to say something. "High Guard, with me!" D yelled as he transformed, driving on the road, with planes following him. Before Pax could stop them, Starscream transformed and followed D, taking B with him.
They flew for a while, before stopping at their new home, Kaon, where Starscream transformed and say B down on a rock. Soon, D and Shockwave found them. Shockwave tried to heal them as best as he could, taking a long time with their voiceboxes.
"Both of you, try to talk." Shockwave told them to do.
"I am Starscream." Said Starscream, who no longer sounds high pitched. Shockwave nodded and turned to B.
Static.
That's what came out of B's mouth as he tried to talk. Pure static. He started to panic.
"What's wrong with him?" D demanded.
"With the damage done, it has ripped the wiring that held his voice box in place, now, I do have another voice box, left by a past experiment, but even if we try to put it in him, it'll just be a waste of resources."
"Then give him that one, he needs to have a voice, and we can put back wiring to help him."
"Megatron, with the damage done, it'll be next to impossible, his voice box was ripped out, taking the wiring with it."
"THEN TRY."
He looked up at the two of them, then at Starscream next to him. Lucky. At least he got to keep his. Then he noticed Shockwave was closer then before, then he saw darkness.
He awoke, jours later. He was in a room, on a table thing, and his neck felt weird, like, something was wrong. He opened his mouth to ask someone, anyone, what was going on, when static came out. No. No. No, no, no, no no no no no no NO NO NO NO NO. His voice, his voice, where was his voice!?
How was he supposed to live like this!? To live without the one thing that helped him stay alive in Sub-50. He started to try and frail his arms, but then realize they were strapped down to a table. He then saw Shockwave, at a table, pressing something on the button, before he saw darkness again.
