"Darc, Riz, Elisa while it was nice to meet you again, I'm afraid I have to give you a warning about the one protecting Homura Akemi who is also her right hand and the one watching you and Madoka Kaname's group from afar."
"She is known as The Azure Silence, a Magical girl that can fight on par with you three and despite how powerful Sayaka Miki is as she was the right hand of the Law of Cycles, she is no match against her."
"So I advise you three to be cautious and aware at all times as her gloves muffled all sound around their surroundings save for their weapons cutting through the air with her said weapons stored in the said gloves, hence the name given to her aside from wearing a dark azure suit."
"You seem to know her so well that you have met her personally." Elisa asked.
Perenelle nodded. "I met her twice, after all I made her those gloves and most of the weapons she has." She paused and then sighs sadly. "But when I met her again after giving it to her, she used it to kill Melissa de Vignolles after your death Elisa."
This caught the three off guard, while Elisa felt rage spread through her body and regret as she left her all alone despite promising to be with her. But due to her responsibility as Elizabeth of Luxembourg. . .
Elisa immediately left the area so that she doesn't do something she might regret.
It was from there she swore to kill The Azure Silence for taking her true beloved away from her.
By the time she remembered that promise she, and the other 2 had appeared in a large and wide arch bridge which would lead them to Sayaka and the others as they fight off The Azure Silence while Madoka confronts Homura alone.
But upon reaching them they saw a horrific sight.
Mami and Kyoko's bodies were mangled seemingly beyond repair, especially their limbs that had huge gashes, while Nagisa was only knocked out cold, seemingly sparing her from being brutally injured.
As for Sayaka, her witch was cut to half and slowly disappeared with The Azure Silence gripping the hair of a limbless Sayaka.
"P̶̡̛͙͓͂͝ͅa̶̡̟̪̍ṯ̵̌̌̉̋͐͘͠h̸̥͓̙͌͑ë̴̞̻̙̦͓̗̍͗̃̃t̴̥̦̾̃͊̇͒͌i̴̻̖͓͔̍͂́̚͜͝c̷̻̜̠͓̲͐̅͐ͅ." The Azure Silence's distorted voice said. Suddenly it stopped talking as it looked at them. With the three looking at her as The Azure SIlence wears a simple dark azure suit with a white shirt, a dark azure tie broach, black gloves and shoes. With her mask preventing them from identifying what she looked like and blurring their vision on her tie broach which might be where her soul gem is.
After looking at them for a whole minute she threw Sayaka aside who was screaming in agony as she regenerated her limbs albeit slowly despite how her magic was supposed to work.
"Ah." The Azure Silence said this time with her voice now clear but distorted for them to make them second taught it was a boy. "It appears my magic didn't take her out regeneration properly." After looking at Sayaka she then looked back at them. "So this is what she meant, it's very nostalgic."
Elisa spoke angrily. "How nostalgic is that, we had just met?"
"Is that so?." She then puts her gloved hands into her pants pockets. "Then I assume Lady Flamel told you about me?"
"Yes, and I'll make sure to kill you for killing Melissa!" She immediately pulls out her weapon which is a gun with an axe and sword acting as the gun's bayonet.
But before she can begin the fight, The Azure Silence laughed, which caught Elisa and Darc off guard.
"Tch I knew it." Riz said.
Darc looked at her worriedly. "What do you mean Riz?"
"When Perenelle told us about The Azure Silence I felt something doesn't add up. Like why did the Azure Silence spare her life from what she said after Elisa left, Kyubey sent that assassin to kill her to prevent anyone from knowing his failure when Isabeau de Bavière was still alive which she did to Elisa first. Kyubey could've killed Perenelle aswell to hide it completely but didn't. Which means-."
As the Azure Silence slowly stopped laughing, she slowly removed her mask which let them see her long dark hair in a ponytail and soul gem in her tie broach that has a blue shield with the image of a bunch of grapes inside-.
No it can't be.
Upon removing her mask Elisa's mind reminisced of a time with Melissa before her responsibilities piled up with the promise to live as long as possible to give hope to many and to enjoy life in honor of Darc and Riz.
"M-Melissa?" Elisa said.
Her reminiscing of Melissa's joyful and lovely expression shattered as she saw her dull eyes and then with a melancholic smile spoke. "It's been a long time everyone."
Darc looked at her in disbelief with Riz gritting her teeth.
"W-what happened to you?" Darc asked.
". . .While Perenelle lied about me being killed, what she said about Kyubey was true, it indirectly wanted me, Elisa, and Perenelle dead. By the time Elisa died, something shattered inside me and Kyubey used that opportunity to try and get me to witch out or be killed by a strong witch, until a man risked his life saving me due to him having the unique ability to see witches."
"He treated me like a younger sister that he never had and me treating him like a big brother in response, and with that my worldview changed overtime."
"That includes his death that was orchestrated by Kyubey to kill me after I joined him and his mercenary group."
"It was at that moment that what remains of Melissa who fought honorably for hope died completely and accepted the cruel world we are in where we must come to accept somethings that we cannot change or control, while trying to survive and do our best in any situation."
"Until that Naive Girl broke that cycle and made things even more worse so bad that her Savior had to rebel against her and give me and Perenelle the task to end this feud once and for all." Melissa looked at them seriously. "I originally thought I only needed to confront Darc but to see you both must be her test for me to see my resolve." She then sighs. "No matter what, my oath to her stands until Perenelle finishes her job. All I need to do is stop you three and others from getting in the way."
Riz then spoke as she stepped forward. ". . . Is there no other way to reconsider your decision Melissa?"
Melissa shakes her head. "There is no other way." She then wears her mask. "After all-"
"That's that and this is this."
Then she charged at them while pulling out a mace and axe forcing the everyone to quickly prepare their weapons as Riz used her daggers and turn them into machete's to block her strike while Darc and Elisa tried to flank her, to which she responded by backflipping multiple times and then switches her axe and mace with a gun similar to Elisa's which caused everyone to dodge Melissa's line of fire while Elisa fired back.
Not having the time to reload them, Melissa immediately changed weapons revealing her original weapon which is her Hammerhead Mace as she used her magic to hit them all at once, forcing them to separate but receive some bruises in the process.
Melissa's magic, Annihilation most notably the power of anti-matter which basically annihilate everything and make healing magic possibly useless due to how it evaporates the cells of a person's body.
As Riz used the shadows to stab Melissa from behind using her daggers, Melissa anticipated this and switches her Hammerhead Mace with a pair of gauntlets that are wielding a pair of daggers, causing both of their daggers to clash with Melissa throwing one of her daggers in the air to punch Riz in the stomach and shoulder before the dagger landed back to her free hand to stab her. However Riz managed to dodge all of this but still receive some shallow cuts.
With this Riz was about to keep Melissa in place by using the shadows to try and knock her out, but Melissa changed her weapon into two machetes and imbued them with her magic to cut her supposed restraints causing Riz to go into the defensive until Darc recovered and began to aid Riz to put Melissa on the defensive. While Elisa fired her weapon from afar.
While it amazed the three to see how Melissa grew and how fast she adapted in the fight, they needed to stop her and aid Madokami.
Suddenly Melissa spoke.
"I have nothing but my sorrow and I want nothing more. It has been, it still is, faithful to me."
She then break her defensive by switching her weapon to a Samurai Sword like Whip to block Darc and Riz's weapons as well as the projectiles Elisa fired, immediately pushing the two away and using her whip to separate Elisa's hold from her weapon as she charged at her, forcing Elisa to summon her dragon gauntlets and tail to protect herself as Melissa approached her.
"Why should I begrudge it, since during the hours when my soul crushed the depths of my heart, it was seated there beside me?"
Upon charging at Elisa by quickly switching her whip for a spear like lance Elisa managed to lessen the damage despite Melissa's lance penetrating her gauntlet and using that to throw her at an approaching Riz and Darc.
"O sorrow, I have ended, you see, by respecting you, because I am certain you will never leave me."
She then switched her lance for a sword similar to Darc's but dark and imbued with Melissa's Anger and Magic, causing the three to use their weapons to block the hit, sending the three flying away even further. While Melissa charges at Darc to deal a killing blow, which Riz pulls out her scythe to block it.
"Ah! I realize it: your beauty lies in the force of your being. You are like those who never left the sad fireside corner of my poor black heart."
Doing this both Riz and Melissa once again clashed landing into the ground perfectly before they could either of them fall from the deep ravine.
As Riz pushed her back to gain footing, Elisa and Darc tried to strike her from behind.
"O my sorrow, you are better than a well-beloved: because I know that on the day of my final agony, you will be there, lying in my sheets, O sorrow, so that you might once again attempt to enter my heart."
She then changed her weapon for a scythe that she quickly used to push everyone away and into the defensive in quick succession seemingly lining them up for Melissa to deal a lethal blow.
"This is a big one, I hope you three are prepared as this one almost killed the others."
They then felt Melissa charging up her gloves and magic and then she spoke.
"Orlando Furioso."
She then approached them by reloading and firing her gun at a quick pace which the three managed to dodge before Melissa stabs the gun's bayonet to Elisa's stomach. Then puts it back and pulls out her spear like lance to graze Darc's shoulder and stab Riz's right wrist and then landing a scar on Elisa's left cheek. Which she quickly followed up by slamming her Hammerhead Mace at the three of them like dominoes with Elisa barely using her gauntlets in time to lessen the damage, destroying the right gauntlet completely. Then pulling out her samurai sword-like whip to gather them at one place while injuring them and pulling out her pair of gauntlets and daggers to leave bruises and slashes at the three of them, with all three doing their best to parry them but some still managed to get through, almost hitting their soul gems. Seeing this Melissa then pulls out her mace and axe and completely destroyed Elisa's remaining gauntlet, most of Darc's armor, and breaking Riz's ribs which she followed up by pulling out her scythe to slash them all at once, barely giving them time to dodge as they received a small gash in their legs almost cutting them. Which she uses to her advantage by pulling out her twin machete and going through them, injuring them even more and almost cutting up their limbs, with the three, especially Elisa near her gun to which she quickly get as Melissa reloaded hers and was about to fire at their heads. To which Elisa immediately fired hers forcing the latter to fire lower, injuring most of Elisa's fingers that are holding her gun.
And lastly Melissa pulled out her sword similar to Darc's and landed a huge diagonal slash to the three each, causing all three to fall in the ground, groaning in pain and realizing how Melissa quickly pulled that off with Elisa struggling to stand despite using her tail now damaged to block the sword strike.
As Melissa stared at her former comrades she then turned around to see pink and purple energy colliding with each other while a large magical sphere with multiple symbols surrounded a False Goddess and a True Devil and then slightly but mirthfully chuckled at the sight.
