Chapter Text
One-Shot
The chaos in the backstage corridor was palpable, a suffocating mix of panic and adrenaline. Stella had been removed, the threat of the Moon-leak scandal temporarily neutralized by her arrest and Joon-ho’s confession slash proposal, but the silence left in her absence was deafening. The clock was ticking. The show had to go on, and the gap Stella left was a gaping wound in the production.
Kitty rubbed her forehead, the fabric of her costume digging into her skin. She muttered under her breath, cursing in Spanish, the words a hot, sharp contrast to the cold air. She spun around, her eyes scanning the room with the intensity of a general assessing a battlefield. Ignoring the staring faces of the other dancers, the judges, and even Min Ho’s father, Young Moon, Kitty grabbed her phone. Her thumbs flew across the screen as she swiped through her playlist, ignoring the murmurs of confusion. "Who can salsa?" she demanded, her voice cutting through the tension. "Who knows Latin dance? Now!"
The room was silent.
Then, Min Ho stepped forward, his jaw set, his eyes dark with a mix of determination and a flicker of something dangerous. "I can."
Kitty paused, her head snapping up. She stared at him, a conflicting look crossing her features, shock, frustration, and a sudden, sharp spark of recognition. She didn't ask if he was serious. She didn't ask if he was ready. She nodded once, a sharp, decisive motion. "Fine." She shoved her phone into the hands of Q, her eyes never leaving Min Ho. "Q, hook up Into the Night. Now. Make it hot. Make it fire." Then, she turned on her heel, her heels clicking violently against the floor. "I’m going to get ready," she shouted over her shoulder, her voice a low growl. "You be ready on stage in ten minutes, Min Ho, or else I swear I’m shoving my foot up your ass and then dropping kicking Stella’s ass myself."
The reaction was immediate.
Young Moon, Min Ho’s father, looked stunned, his mouth slightly agape.
Joon-ho let out a low whistle, his backup dancer, Eun Ji, clutching his arm in shock.
The group of friends exchanged wide-eyed glances.
Min Ho just smirked, a dangerous, knowing smirk that suggested he wasn’t the least bit intimidated.
Ten minutes later, the stage was bathed in darkness, the tension in the air thick enough to cut. The lights snapped on with a sudden, blinding flash, and the crowd gasped.
Kitty stood center stage. She looked nothing like the girl who had been cursing backstage a few minutes ago. Her hair was wild, a cascade of dark curls framing a face painted with thick, dramatic eyeliner and blood-red lips that seemed to pulse with the beat. She wore a dress that was pure fire, a vibrant red number that clung to her curves and flowed in a ruffled, high-low hem. The bodice was adorned with a shimmering, crystal-encrusted design that caught the light with every movement, making her look like a living, breathing jewel.
Min Ho stood opposite her. He was dressed in black, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing the tension in his arms. His expression was intense, his eyes locked on hers with a possessive heat that matched her own.
As the first, slow, soulful notes of Into the Night by Santana and Chad Krueger began to play, the atmosphere in the room shifted. The music was a promise, a seductive invitation.
There were drums in the air as she started to dance.
Kitty moved with a fluid, hypnotic grace. Her movements were sharp and sensual, her hips swaying with a rhythm that seemed to vibrate through the floor. Min Ho met her move for move, their bodies mirroring each other in a dance that was anything but innocent. It was hot, seductive, and fiery, a physical conversation that spoke of passion and power.
Like a gift from the heavens, it was easy to tell
It was love from above that could save me from hell
They spun, a whirlwind of red and black. Their eyes were locked, unblinking, as they moved in perfect synchronization. Every step, every turn, every gesture was a declaration. The crowd was transfixed, their hands clapping in time with the drums, their voices rising in a low hum of appreciation.
She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see
How the devil himself could be pulled out of me
Kitty reached out, her hand brushing against Min Ho’s chest, her fingers tracing the line of his collarbone before he caught her wrist and pulled her into a close embrace. Their bodies were so close there was no space between them. The air crackled with electricity, the scent of their combined sweat and perfume filling the space.
There were drums in the air as she started to dance
Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands
And we sang
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And the voices bang like the angels sing
We're singing
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And we danced on into the night
Ay, oh, ay, oh
Ay, oh, ay, oh
And we danced on into the night
They spun, their movements a blur of motion. Kitty’s red dress flared out around her like a blooming flower, the ruffles dancing with her every step. Min Ho held her firm, his grip unyielding, his eyes never leaving her face.
Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place
You could tell how we felt from the look on our faces
We were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes
The room left them moving between you and I
We forgot where we were, and we lost track of time
And we sang to the wind as we danced through the night
And we sang
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And the voices bang like the angels sing
We're singing
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And we danced on into the night
Ay, oh, ay, oh
Ay, oh, ay, oh
And we danced on into the night
Kitty’s movements became more intense, her body a fluid instrument of desire. Min Ho matched her energy, his strength a counterpoint to her grace. They were a single entity, a force of nature that commanded the stage and the room.
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And we danced on into the night
Ay, oh, ay, oh
Ay, oh, ay, oh
And we danced on into the night
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And we danced on into the night
The music swelled, the drums pounding like a heartbeat. The crowd was on its feet, a roar of approval rising from the audience. Young Moon and Joon-ho were the only ones who looked truly stunned, their faces a mix of awe and something deeper, something they couldn't quite name.
Like a gift from the heavens, it was easy to tell
It was love from above that could save me from hell
She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see
How the devil himself could be pulled out of me
There were drums in the air as she started to dance
Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands
And we sang
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And the voices bang like the angels sing
We're singing
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay
And we danced on into the night
Ay, oh, ay, oh
Ay, oh, ay, oh
And we danced on into the night
Kitty threw her head back, her hair flying, her eyes blazing. Min Ho pulled her closer, his hands on her waist, his breath hot against her neck. The dance was a climax, a culmination of everything they had been building, everything they had been hiding.
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay (ay, oh, ay, oh)
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay (ay, oh, ay, oh)
Singing, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay (ay, oh, ay, oh)
And we danced on into the night
The music faded, the final notes hanging in the air like a suspended breath. Kitty and Min Ho stood frozen, their chests heaving, their eyes locked in an unbreakable stare. The world seemed to have stopped around them.
Then, Min Ho moved. With a sudden, fluid motion, he dipped her low, his arm a steel band around her waist, her back arched, her face inches from his. Their eyes were locked, their breaths mingling in the silence. The crowd was silent, the only sound the pounding of their own hearts.
The dance had ended, but the spark between them was far from extinguished. It burned brighter than ever, a promise of what was to come.
The final, thunderous chord of the guitar hung in the air, vibrating through the silent, breathless auditorium. For a heartbeat, the world was just the two of them, locked in the final, dramatic dip.
Min Ho's gaze was a physical force, burning with a raw, unfiltered hunger that made Kitty's own breath catch. He was fighting a battle she could feel in the tension of his arm, the coiled strength in his body. The urge to drag her into a dark corner and ravish her was a palpable thing, a current arcing between them. With a slow, deliberate motion, he straightened, pulling her up with him until they stood face to face, their chests heaving in unison. The roar of the crowd finally broke through the spell, a deafening wave of applause that shook the very foundations of the theater. Min Ho's jaw was tight, his eyes still fixed on hers as he gave a sharp, almost curt bow.
Kitty, however, transformed. The fiery, seductive dancer melted away, replaced by a picture of poise. She executed a curtsey of such effortless grace it seemed to defy gravity, her red dress pooling around her like liquid flame. She held it for a perfect moment before rising, her expression serene, a small, knowing smile playing on her blood-red lips. Without another glance at the audience, she turned, and together they walked off stage, leaving the pandemonium behind them.
The moment they stepped into the wings, the noise from the stage was muffled, replaced by a stunned, charged silence from their friends.
Q was the first to move, his eyes wide as he fumbled with the audio equipment, finally unplugging Kitty's phone and holding it out to her. "That... that was..." he stammered, shaking his head in disbelief. "I've never seen anything like that."
Kitty took her phone, her fingers brushing against his. "Thanks, Q. You were a lifesaver."
Then the others descended.
Jin was practically bouncing on the balls of his feet. "Kitty! Min Ho! Where did that come from? I had no idea you could move like that! It was like... like the stage caught fire!"
Yuri stepped forward, her expression a mixture of shock and admiration. "I have to admit, that was incredible. You saved the entire show."
Juliana let out a long, low whistle, a slow grin spreading across her face. She sauntered up to Kitty, nudging her playfully with her shoulder. "Damn, Kitty," she drawled, her voice dripping with suggestive amusement. "All that fire and salsa... where have you been hiding that? And the way you were looking at our boy Min Ho here... I thought you two were going to burn a hole right through the floor."
Kitty felt a blush creep up her neck, but she met Juliana's gaze with a smirk of her own. "Some things are better left as a surprise, Juliana."
Before anyone could press further, Min Ho moved. He closed the small distance between him and Kitty, his presence instantly silencing the group. His hand came to rest on the small of her back, his thumb tracing circles over the fabric of her dress. He didn't look at anyone else. His eyes were locked on her, the same intense, burning look from the stage still smoldering in their depths. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice a low, rough murmur meant only for her.
Kitty's breath hitched. The heat from his hand seared through her, and she could feel the promise in his question. She nodded, her own voice softer than she intended. "I'm fine. Are you?"
A muscle jumped in his jaw. "I need a word with you. Now." He didn't wait for an answer. With a firm but gentle pressure, he began guiding her away from the group, his long strides eating up the floor.
Kitty cast a quick apologetic glance over her shoulder at her friends, who watched them go with a mixture of shock and dawning understanding, though she wanted to swat Q as the ass wiggled his eyebrows with a wide grin on his face as Yuri smirked at her. "Min Ho, wait," she said softly as he pulled her toward a secluded, shadowed alcove behind a stack of equipment crates, away from the main backstage traffic.
He stopped, turning to face her, caging her in against the cool metal of a roadie case. He brought his other hand up to cup her cheek, his thumb brushing the corner of her mouth, wiping away a trace of her blood-red lipstick. "Do you have any idea," he began, his voice a low growl, "what you just did to me up there?"
Kitty's heart hammered against her ribs. "I think I have a pretty good idea," she breathed, her hands coming up to rest on his chest. "You weren't so bad yourself, Moon. I didn't know you could dance like that."
His eyes darkened. "There's a lot you don't know about me," he said, his head lowering until his forehead rested against hers. "And watching you... watching everyone watch you... I wanted to kill every man in that room for looking at you." He paused, his voice dropping even further. "And then I wanted to drag you off that stage and show you exactly what that dance does to me."
A shiver ran down Kitty's spine, a mix of fear and exhilaration. "Min Ho..."
"I'm not letting you out of my sight tonight," he vowed, his lips hovering just a breath from hers. "You're mine, Kitty. That dance wasn't just for the audience. It was a promise." And then he closed the distance, his lips crashing down on hers in a kiss that was just as fiery, just as possessive, and just as intoxicating as the dance they had just shared.
The possessive fire in Min Ho's words was the final crack in Kitty's carefully constructed dam. The promise in his eyes, the raw hunger in his voice, it was everything she'd been fighting and everything she secretly craved. She stopped thinking. She stopped holding back. With a soft, desperate sound that was half-surrender, half-challenge, Kitty finally gave in. She surged up against him, her lips crashing back against his with a force that stole the air from his lungs. This wasn't a gentle kiss; it was a claiming. Her hands flew from his chest, fingers twisting into the fabric of his black shirt, gripping it tight and pulling him impossibly closer, until there was no space left between them, no air, no doubt, only the overwhelming reality of their bodies pressed together. She knew, with a certainty that resonated deep in her bones, that there was no going back from this. Not for her, and certainly not for him.
A low growl rumbled in Min Ho's chest, a sound of pure, unadulterated triumph. He met her ferocity with his own, his mouth slanting over hers, deepening the kiss until it was all-consuming. He took control with an effortless dominance that made her head spin. One hand slid from her cheek to the nape of her neck, his fingers tangling in her wild hair, holding her captive for his onslaught. The other remained a firm, possessive weight on the small of her back, pressing her against him. He moved, a fluid, powerful shift of his weight, and suddenly she was moving with him. He backed her up step by deliberate step, their lips never breaking contact.
The world became a blur of shadow and light, the distant sounds of the theater fading into a meaningless hum. Then her back hit the cool, solid surface of a concrete wall, and he was there, pinning her in place.
A soft gasp escaped her throat at the sudden, unyielding contact.
He had her caged, his body a hard, warm wall of muscle trapping her against the cold concrete. His thigh slid between her legs, a deliberate, intoxicating pressure that made her knees weak. He broke the kiss for a fraction of a second, his lips hovering over hers, his breath coming in harsh, ragged pants. His eyes, dark and fathomless in the dim light, bored into hers. "Kitty," he rasped, his voice a raw, broken sound. It wasn't a question. It was a declaration, a confirmation of everything that had just passed between them on that stage and in this dark corner.
She couldn't form words. She could only look up at him, her chest heaving, her lips swollen and tingling. Her hands, still gripping his shirt, slid up, her fingers tracing the frantic, wild beat of his heart. She made a small noise in the back of her throat, a whimper of need, of surrender, of pure, unadulterated want.
That sound was his undoing. He crushed his mouth back down on hers, his kiss punishing and possessive. There was no gentleness left, only a desperate, consuming need to devour, to claim, to mark her as his own. His hand at her neck tightened, holding her exactly where he wanted her, while his other hand began a slow, deliberate exploration, tracing the curve of her hip, the dip of her waist, his touch branding her through the thin fabric of her dress.
The wall was hard and cold at her back, but Min Ho was a furnace in front of her, a blazing inferno of heat and raw masculinity. The contrast was dizzying. She was trapped, but she had never felt more free. She was possessed, but she had never felt more powerful. She arched into him, her body answering his silent command, meeting his passion with a fire of her own. The kiss deepened, becoming a wild, messy, perfect tangle of tongues and teeth and breathless moans. It was a dance more intimate, more revealing than the one they had just shared, and it was only the beginning.
The sound of approaching voices, distant and indistinct, was like a splash of cold water. Min Ho's head snapped up, his eyes narrowing with a possessive fury. The thought of anyone seeing her like this, flushed, wanting, pinned against a wall by him, was unbearable. "Come with me," he commanded, his voice a low, urgent growl. He didn't wait for an answer. His hand shot out, gripping hers, his fingers lacing through hers with a fierce, unyielding strength. He didn't just lead her; he pulled her, dragging her out of the alcove and into the labyrinthine corridors of the backstage area.
Kitty stumbled after him, her heels clicking frantically on the concrete floor, her mind a haze of sensation and anticipation. He moved with a single-minded purpose, his long strides eating up the distance, his grip on her hand an unbreakable chain. They passed a few crew members who stared, but Min Ho didn't see them. He only saw the path to his private dorm. He swiped his keycard with a sharp, violent jab, shoved the door open, and practically threw her inside before turning to slam it shut. The heavy click of the lock echoed in the sudden silence, a sound of finality, of no escape.
Before Kitty could even catch her breath, he was on her again. He spun her around, crowding her against the door, his body a hard, unyielding wall of muscle. He kissed her harder, deeper, a desperate, consuming kiss that stole the air from her lungs and left her clinging to him. His hands were everywhere, tangling in her hair, gripping her hips, pulling her flush against him.
With a low groan, he hooked a hand behind her knee, hitching her leg up and around his waist. The new angle was intoxicating, pressing her core against the hard ridge of his arousal. He broke the kiss, his lips trailing a fiery path down her jaw to the sensitive skin of her neck. Kitty cried out, her head falling back against the door as she buried her hands in his thick hair, holding him to her. He made a rough, guttural sound against her skin, a vibration that shot straight through her. He pulled back just enough to look at her, his eyes dark, his pupils blown with desire. "Tell me," he rasped, his voice thick with need. "Tell me what you want."
Kitty moaned, the words torn from her throat. "You," she gasped, her nails scraping against his scalp. "Only you."
He nipped the sensitive skin where her neck met her shoulder, a sharp, possessive bite that made her cry out again. "I have protection," he ground out, his control hanging by a thread.
"I'm on the shot," she breathed, her eyes locking with his, her gaze clear and unwavering despite the haze of passion. "I want you, Min Ho. All of you. I want to feel you... for my first time."
The words "my first time" hit him like a physical blow. A raw, primal roar seemed to tear from his soul, though it came out as a harsh, choked gasp. He stared at her, his expression a mixture of awe, disbelief, and a dark, overwhelming possessiveness. Then, with a surge of strength, he picked her up, his arms wrapping around her thighs as he lifted her as if she weighed nothing. He carried her through the darkened dorm, his long strides sure and steady, his eyes never leaving hers. He kicked open the door to his bedroom and laid her down on his bed, the sheets cool against her heated skin. He stood over her for a moment, his chest heaving, his gaze devouring her. Then he moved. He reached for the hem of her red dress, his fingers hooking under the fabric. With a slow, deliberate motion, he pulled it up, over her hips, her waist, her head, tossing it aside as if it were nothing. Dark desire erupted between them, a tangible force that filled the room and stole the air from their lungs.
He knelt over her, his eyes tracing the curves of her body, the lace of her lingerie. Then he lowered his head, his mouth finding the sensitive skin of her stomach, his hands exploring her thighs, her hips, her breasts. He pleasured her with his mouth and hands, his touch expert, his movements calculated to drive her wild.
Kitty arched against him, her body writhing, her moans filling the room as he pushed her to the edge and beyond, until she was a trembling, whimpering mess of need. Just when she thought she couldn't take anymore, he pulled back. He stood, his eyes burning with a dark, possessive fire as he stripped off his own clothes, revealing the hard, sculpted planes of his chest, the ridges of his abdomen, the powerful muscles of his thighs. He was beautiful, a predator, and he was all hers.
He joined her on the bed, his body covering hers. He took his time at first, his movements slow, deliberate, his gaze locked with hers as he entered her, inch by agonizing inch. He knew it was her first time, and he was determined to make it good for her, to make it memorable. There was a sharp, fleeting pain, a moment of discomfort, but then he was fully inside her, filling her, completing her. He moved slowly at first, his hips rocking in a gentle, rhythmic cadence, his hands stroking her hair, his lips whispering soft, soothing words against her skin. But as the pain faded, it was replaced by a rising tide of pleasure, a need for more, for something harder, deeper.
Kitty wrapped her legs around his waist, her heels digging into his lower back, pulling him deeper. "More," she begged, her voice a breathy moan. "Min Ho, please... more."
That was all it took. The last thread of his control snapped. He lost himself in her, his movements becoming harder, deeper, more demanding. He took her with a wild, unrestrained passion, his body pounding into hers, his growls of dark praise against her neck. "Mine," he growled, his voice a low, possessive rumble. "You're mine, Kitty. All mine."
"Yours," she cried out, her nails clawing down his back, leaving red trails in their wake. "Only yours."
He claimed her, body and soul, his movements a primal rhythm, his possession a brand on her very essence. And as they spiraled towards the edge, their bodies moving in perfect, frantic harmony, Kitty knew, with a certainty that resonated deep in her soul, that she would never be the same again.
The room was a symphony of ragged breaths and the slick, rhythmic sounds of their bodies moving together. The initial, sharp edge of pain had long since dissolved into a deep, aching pleasure that coiled in Kitty's stomach, tight and insistent. But it wasn't enough. It was a delicious torment, a promise of something more, something wilder that hovered just out of reach.
She needed more.
Her nails, which had been scoring possessive lines down his back, dug in harder, a silent plea. "Min Ho," she gasped, her voice breaking on his name. Her hips bucked up to meet his thrusts, a desperate, needy motion. "Harder. Please... harder."
He froze for a fraction of a second, his entire body tensing above her. A low, guttural sound vibrated from his chest, a sound of pure, unadulterated male satisfaction. He lifted his head, his dark hair falling over his brow, his eyes burning down at her with an intensity that made her feel like she was the only person in the universe. "Deeper, Kitty?" he growled, his voice a rough, gravelly rasp that sent shivers down her spine. "Is that what you want?"
"Yes," she whimpered, her head thrashing against the pillows. "God, yes. Deeper. I want to feel all of you."
With a groan that was part surrender, part victory, he gave in to her begging. He shifted his weight, hiking her leg up higher, draping it over his shoulder. The new position was devastating, opening her up to him completely, allowing him to plunge deeper than before. He drove into her, a hard, powerful thrust that stole the air from her lungs and sent a bolt of pure, white-hot pleasure through her.
"Ah!" she cried out, her back arching off the bed.
He set a punishing rhythm, each thrust harder, deeper than the last. The bedframe creaked in protest, the sound lost beneath their shared cries.
Kitty was lost in a haze of sensation, her world shrinking to the feel of him inside her, the sound of his harsh groans in her ear, the sight of his face, contorted with pleasure and a dark, possessive need. "Min Ho," she moaned, his name a constant, breathless mantra on her lips. "Oh god, Min Ho..."
She whimpered for him, a continuous, desperate sound that fueled his own desire. He was a man possessed, driven by her pleas, by the feel of her body clenching around him, by the knowledge that he was the one making her feel this way. He was claiming her, marking her as his own, and with every hard, deep thrust, she was letting him.
The relentless, punishing rhythm he set was a delicious torment, pushing her higher and higher, stretching the limits of her endurance. Every hard, deep thrust sent shockwaves of pleasure through her, building an unbearable pressure deep within her core. Her leg, still draped over his shoulder, allowed him an angle that was almost too much, hitting a spot inside her that made her see stars.
Her whimpers turned into desperate, breathless cries. "Min Ho... I... I can't..." she sobbed, her hands flying from his back to clutch at the sheets, twisting them in her fists. The coil inside her was wound so tight it was painful, a sweet agony that demanded release.
"Let go, Kitty," he growled, his voice a raw, primal command against her neck. He could feel her trembling, feel her body tightening around him, on the verge of shattering. "Let go for me. Now." As if his words were the key, he slammed into her one last, devastating time, grinding his hips into hers with a circular, possessive motion that hit her clit perfectly. That was it. The coil inside her snapped.
A wave of pure, unadulterated ecstasy crashed over her, so intense it was almost violent. A sobbing moan was torn from her throat, a sound of pure, unbridled pleasure and overwhelming release. Her entire body convulsed, arching off the bed as the orgasm ripped through her, a blinding, all-consuming force that left her trembling and breathless. Her inner walls clenched around him, a series of powerful, rhythmic spasms that milked him, pulling him deeper.
The feel of her coming undone around him, the sound of her sobbing moan, the sight of her face contorted in ecstasy—it was his undoing. With a loud, guttural groan that was more animal than human, Min Ho drove into her one final time, burying himself to the hilt. He came deep inside her, his body shuddering with the force of his release, a hot, powerful flood that filled her completely. He collapsed against her, his body a heavy, welcome weight, his face buried in the crook of her neck.
They were both panting, their bodies slick with sweat, their hearts hammering against each other's chests. The room was silent, save for the sound of their ragged breaths. For a long moment, they lay there, tangled together, basking in the afterglow.
Then, Min Ho lifted his head, his eyes soft, his gaze filled with a tenderness that took her breath away. He brushed a stray strand of hair from her forehead, his touch gentle, reverent. "Kitty," he whispered, his voice hoarse. He didn't say anything else. He didn't need to. His eyes said it all.
She reached up, her hand cupping his cheek, her thumb stroking his skin. "Min Ho," she breathed, a soft, contented sigh.
He rolled onto his side, pulling her with him, wrapping his arms around her and holding her close. He kissed her forehead, her eyelids, her nose, a series of soft, gentle kisses that spoke of a tenderness that belied the wild passion they had just shared. And in the quiet darkness of his room, wrapped in his arms, Kitty felt a sense of peace, of rightness, that she had never felt before. She was home.
The silence in the room was thick and comfortable, broken only by the slowing rhythm of their breathing.
Min Ho shifted slightly, propping himself up on an elbow to look down at her. The moonlight filtering through the window cast a soft glow on her skin, highlighting the satisfied flush on her cheeks and the wild disarray of her hair spread across his pillow. A wave of something fierce and overwhelming washed over him, a feeling so potent it almost hurt. He reached out, his fingers gently tracing the curve of her hip, the touch impossibly tender after the raw passion they'd just shared. His voice was a low, rough whisper, filled with a raw, possessive certainty that left no room for doubt. "I'm never letting you go now," he told her, his eyes burning with an intensity that was both terrifying and exhilarating. "Now that I have you... you're mine. Forever."
A slow, contented smile spread across Kitty's face. She turned onto her side to face him, her hand coming up to rest on his chest, directly over his heart. She could feel its steady, strong beat beneath her palm. "Good," she whispered, her voice soft but unwavering. "Because I'm never letting you go either."
A low chuckle rumbled in his chest, a sound of pure, unadulterated triumph. He leaned down, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, lingering kiss. It was a kiss of possession, of promise, of a future that was as undeniable as the connection they now shared. "Mine," he murmured against her lips, the word a final, definitive claim.
"Yours," she breathed back, her heart soaring with a joy so profound it brought tears to her eyes.
And in the quiet darkness of his room, with their bodies entwined and their hearts beating as one, they both knew that this was only the beginning.
