NOLI ME TANGERE: IKAW ANG PATUTUNGUHAN

Summary:

Elias propped open Crisostomo’s bedroom window, hauling the latter inside. It was a little past 2am, and the boys had returned from a party held by Sinang. Both of them were drunk—it was more obvious on Crisostomo—but Elias had been deemed the “more sober one” a few hours earlier.

“Mariiiiaaaaaaaa...“

“Shh, you’re being so loud! I’m not M—!“

Elias’ train of thought was completely cut off as Crisostomo’s lips landed on his. There was absolutely no way this was happening. It hadn’t even registered in his mind before the other boy went in for another, and another, and another..

Notes:

Chapter 1: Intoxicated, for better or for worse.

Chapter Text

“I told you not to go to the party!“

Elias propped open Crisostomo’s bedroom window, hauling the latter inside. It was a little past 2am, and the boys had returned from a party held by Sinang. Both of them were drunk—it was more obvious on Crisostomo—but Elias had been deemed the “more sober one” a few hours earlier. As he shut the window behind them, he could only hope the Kapitan wouldn’t hear. Crisostomo had been staying at Maria Clara’s house for the entirety of the school year, and despite remaining Tito Tiago’s golden boy, he drank and partied a LOT. Over time, it slowly became Elias’ job to return him safe and sound.

The bed squeaked as they tumbled onto it, with Crisostomo completely out of his right mind. No sounds were heard from outside the door, so surely they’d flown under the radar…

“STOP IT!“ He pushed the drunken Crisostomo off, wiping his lips. This was so wrong on so many levels: Cris had a girlfriend (Maria!), he wasn’t gay, and.. and… god, why couldn’t he think of any other reasons?!
In the darkness of his room, illuminated only by the soft moonlight, Crisostomo seemed to sense how tense Elias was. For a second, Elias thought the other had returned to sobriety, but that thought was forgotten as he was promptly grabbed by the face.

“Crisostomo, stop. This is wrong. We can’t do this.“ No, no one sees me like this. I need a second to breathe. Hesitance rang clear in Elias’ voice as Crisostomo’s hands slid around his neck and their breaths mixed into one. Suddenly, it wasn’t Kapitan Tiago that he was scared of, he was terrified that he would like this. Like Crisostomo. Once again, his onslaught of thoughts were interrupted by yet another kiss from the other boy, and as the night went on, he was plagued with a new set of worries.

Oh god, does he still think I’m Maria?
