Chapter Text
X couldn't sleep that night. She couldn't sleep knowing the fact that she graduated and is going to be roommates with her best friend she had known since childhood! It was already 1am and she still hadn't fallen asleep.
But eventually, she grew tired and fell asleep.
The next morning X woke up, she had woken up earlier then she usually does and got ready. She was to excited to stay in bed and just lay there.
When she finished getting ready, she ran down stairs and toasted herself some bread and spreaded butter on it. She quickly put it into her mouth.
X had already packed all of her stuff yesterday. When she got her suit case, she headed to the door and her parents were already there at the front door to say goodbye. Her parents eyes looked like they had just finished a long cry.
They quickly hugged X and she hugged them back. "Bye mom, bye dad! Love yall!" She said with a warm smile.
"Goodbye honey! Have fun! We wish you best at college. We'll miss you!" Her mom quickly said to her. X gave them a thumbs up and left the house closing the door behind her.
By the time she got outside, her best friend, Four, was already waiting for her. She quickly ran up to them and greeted them with a wide smile.
"HI four!! Im so glad that we get to be together at college!! Isn't this exciting?!"
"Yeah, im glad aswell. My parents don't really care that im going to be gone." Four said with a smile but then frowned at the last part.
X frowned a bit aswell. They really cared about Four, and seeing Four hurt, hurt them aswell. "Im sorry to hear that."
They both got into the car and drove off. X could see her parents waving at her from a distance.
It was a 2 hour drive to the collage. When they arrived there they went to their room to see how it looked. To their surprise, it actually looked pretty neat and wasn't so bad I guess!
They were both pretty nervous since this would be their first year in collage. They were both looking forward to being a movie actress.
Their room had a bunk bed, a closet, 2 drawers, a desk, and a bathroom. They could maybe get used to this. Their room was actually pretty big but had very little stuff in it.
But X, X was glad that it kinda looked empty because she brought her own decorations and things. While Four on the other hand, only brought important things. Like a laptop, a blanket, a spare pillow, and some clothes.
X went a bit overboard. They brought A TON of clothes, snacks, 2 blankets, a pillow, plushies, and decorations. Four sighed at the fact of thinking that he would have to have a bright and colorful room if X decorated the whole entire room.
But, X knew that Four wouldn't bring any decorations for themselves, So X got some things that Four would like, which made him happy.
"Thanks for bringing me some things, X." He said smiling.
"No prob! I knew that you wouldn't bring yourself much so I brought it for you! I guess you could call me a life saver!"
Four laughed at that a bit. Actually, it was so cringe he laughed alot at that. "Alright, what ever you say, 'life saver' " he said in a teasing voice.
X just gave a fake offended look which made Four giggle a bit. X smiled at the fact that Four was happy.
"Well, im going to unpack my things now. We have a busy day tomorrow." Four said.
"Oh, yeah, that's right! I'll unpack aswell..."
They both went to their suit cases and started to unpack their things and put them where they were supposed to go. X and Four were glad there was 2 drawers so their clothes wouldn't get mixed up.
Four finished unpacking first, of course, since they didn't pack a whole bunch like X.
"I call top bunk." Four said and climbed up the ladder to sit on the bed. He got his bed ready first before he sat on it though.
"Okay!" X replied back, still unpacking.
When X FINALLY finished unpacking, they had some time to explore their college and maybe say hi to other people there. Four didn't want to do that though.
X and Four left their room. When they left their room, they ran into a tall, long-green haired person.
"Oh my gosh! Im so sorry I ran into you both!" The person apologized.
"No, no, its okay! Don't worry about it, its not your fault." X said in a calm voice. Four just narrowed their brows and stared at the green haired person blankly.
"You guy's must be new here, right?"
"Yeah! We are actually. Im X and this is my best friend Four!"
"Well it is very nice to meet you both! Im two, this is going to be my second year here. I hope that we can all be friends!" They said holding out their hand to X. X shaked their hand and smiled. Two then held it out to Four but Four didn't say a word or shake their hand back.
"No thanks." He said in a low tone.
Oh. Two wasn't expecting that at all. It made them a bit frustrated but they just shook it off.
"Alright then! Good day to you both. If you'd like, I can show you guys around!"
"Yes! That'd be very kind of you!"
"No thank you."
Four and X both said that at the same time. They looked at eachother in confusion. X looked back at Two and laughed awkwardly.
"Ahem.. sorry about him. He's not used to talking to someone new as much. Just give him some time!" X said smiling at Two. Four just looked down and frowned.
"Oh, I see! Alright then! Are we still going to go on that tour?" Two asked nicely and smiled widely at them both.
"Oh yeah! Of course! Come on Foury!" She said grabbing his hand to hold it. Four was pretty mad about this. He didn't like the idea of this "Two" person at all.
In fact, he knew he would hate Two. Two was so friendly, so kind to them, and they had this stupid annoying accent. Four hated it. He wasn't used to someone being like that to him other than X, and that voice of theirs and their super organized looking self? Four hated it.
He couldn't get used to this.
