Flirty, fun, and silly, it had always been that with George and Fred.
Since Harriet had first met Ron’s older brothers, she had loved them both with the same sense of heartwarming fondness that she showed all her friends.
The duo were the perfect, light-hearted compliment to the Weasley’s large, loving family.
Harriet had at first seen them as older brothers, until she began to grow.
Her presentation as an omega during her fifth hear at Hogwarts brought a new sense of……identity.
She gasped at the sharp pinch Fred gave her on the bum as she walked past him in the hallway one day.
George didn’t seem interested in letting anyone besides himself and his twin dance with her at the autumn ball that year.
If Ron knew anything, he kept silent.
Harriet, unwise in the ways of love and attraction, saw the attention she recieved from the Weasley twins as nothing more than curiosity.
They were close friends and in alternate situations.
Fred and George were alphas, she was an omega, all unbonded.
Why shouldn’t they have a laugh?
All that changed the day she stepped through the Room of Requirement’s doors to find only two members of Dumbledore’s Army waiting for her.
The practice dummy sat alone and forgotten.
The large room seemed eerily empty.
Tall and strong, Fred crossed his arms as George called out to her, “Hello, Harriet!”
“Hello, Fred, George.” Harriet nodded at each in turn.
“……….Where is everyone?” She asked as she walked towards them.
“Sodded off, I suppose, after we told them to.” Fred scoffed.
There was an irritation in his voice that Harriet narrowed her eyes at.
“What’s the matter with you, Fred?” She asked.
“Calm down….” She heard George hiss as he turned to his brother, “I already told you she’ll say yes.”
“Say yes to what?” Harriet frowned.
Fred glowered at her. Behind her glasses, Harriet’s eyes widened as she still didn’t understand how badly he wanted to kiss her pouty lips.
“We’re leaving soon, Harriet.” George revealed as he turned back to her.
“Leaving?……..What, Hogwarts?!” She gasped.
“Yeah.” George said, “Got our own shop opening up, a lease and everything…..selling joke supplies, toys, candies, you name it.”
“Well…….” Harriet frowned in disappointment before she put on a smile, glad to be happy for them, “I wish you’d stay but congrats! You two will be brilliant together.”
“That’s just it.” Fred snapped.
“We don’t want to be brilliant together……by ourselves.” George finished.
Harriet blinked, “What do you mean?”
“We were hoping, once school and Voldemort and all that….” George began.
“-Is finished.” Fred cut in.
“Is finished.” George nodded, “That you’d come and be with us.”
“Oh……” Harriet blinked, “To work in the shop?”
“No.” Fred growled, “To marry us….”
“And stay in our bed….” George added.
“And have our babies…..” Fred smirked.
“And never leave.” George nodded.
Harriet’s mouth dropped open.
It wasn’t unheard of in the magical world but it was still quite a scandal to think of two alpha brothers having a single mate.
“With……both of you?” Harriet asked.
George came to stand in front of her.
As Harriet gazed up into his blue eyes, her cheeks tinted a soft pink as she marveled at exactly how tall and handsome her dear friend actually was.
“Fred and I share everything, Harriet.” George purred.
“Everything,” A voice echoed behind her.
Harriet took a sharp breath as she turned around to see Fred suddenly at her back, matching his brother’s height and good looks.
“W-What about Ron?” Harriet asked as Fred lifted a strand of her long, dark, messy hair out of the way and placed a gentle kiss to the nape of her neck.
“Won’t he be surprised?” George grinned.
As George leaned in and pressed his lips to hers, Harriet wasn’t quite sure how to process the feelings of surprise and elation that coursed through her system.

Arthur Weasley sat reading his daily newspaper when his dear wife walked into the kitchen and tossed one of the morning’s letters onto the table in front of him.
As she placed her hands on the table and leaned in, Arthur looked up, raised his eyebrows and asked, “Well, what is it. Molly, love? You look like you’ve read something worthwhile.”
“It’s happened!” Molly exclaimed, “Harriet’s finally had her pick of our boys! I knew she would!”
“Oh?” Arthur asked, “Who did she choose then?”
“The twins.” Molly nodded.
“Fred or George?” Arthur asked.
“Both.” Molly answered in a bark that surprised even her husband.
As Mr, and Mrs. Wesley stared at each other, they contemplated what the future could bring.
Once a long moment had passed, Arthur turned back to his newspaper with a sigh as Molly went to go and wash her face.
After all, it wouldn’t be the first criticism the Weasley family had ever endured.
