Work Text:
Kinich has always wondered who Ajaw really was.
In the rare moments that he and Ajaw were separated for long enough, or he had intentionally left him in the hands of someone else, he'd slip away to look through old records of the Sovereign Rulers. Citlali owned a few, and she had been a big help so far, but he had found better material in ruins. Thirteen of them in total, and no way to know which one Ajaw was. He clearly had zero intentions on telling him any time soon, but he couldn’t help his curiosity. It was only natural to be curious, right? If he’s being so vague about it, he must have a reason to hide it.
Nothing was helping. At all. In fact, he came out more confused than he was when he came in. Yes, he managed to rule some out safely- this one is super dead, so definitely not- oh, that one is Ineffa, huh?- I think I saw a part of this one’s corpse- but the rest were all still up for grabs, and it was driving him insane. He tried to physically shake the answer out of Ajaw and it didn’t get him anywhere. Locking him in a box, nope. Sending Cacucu after him, nope. Even starving the poor thing- nope!
A trip to Atocpan would be how he got his answer. Which is exactly where he thought he’d get it, but not… like this.
An odd domain, the very one a commissioner had sent him into to retrieve an old relic. They did warn him of “some sort of severe Ley Line disorder” but he paid it no mind. He has worked in worse conditions, and if they couldn’t identify what it was, it surely could not have been that bad. “It might affect a saurian, so keep an eye on your… um… companion.”
Ajaw is not a saurian. Obviously, look at him. And as Kinich made his way further in, leaving him behind a little to poke around, he thought he was fine. Then one voice had turned into two.
“And look at the mess that you’ve made! All these years, and you’re still so-”
“Still so what? Still so what?!”
“Let me finish, you stupid, insolent moron!”
“Ajaw?”
Kinich turned back, and found two sets of eyes staring at him.
“What?”
And two people that responded.
“He was talking to me, lizard brain.” The shorter one, blonde and much closer to Kinich’s height, spoke up first, long tail lashing angrily behind him.
“Is that not my name he said?” And beside him was one quite a bit taller, dark green hair and much more of a… stoic expression, or at least one attempting to look stoic as the tip of his tail twitched.
“No it’s not! You’re named something stupid, like, uh… Her… Herm… Herm…it…”
“And that’s why you have Imuch’ in your name. That’s all that’s in your head. Imuch’.”
Kinich can’t quite believe his eyes, but he knows Ley Line distortions well enough to know that this isn’t some hallucination, or fever dream. Anything can happen truly meant that, and he should always be ready for anything going into one because there’s no way to tell just what will happen unless someone has gone and documented it beforehand. Was one of them really Ajaw? Were both of them Ajaw?
“Stop.” He lifts a hand up, his voice easily catching their attention. “Both of you. Explain. Now. Which one of you is Ajaw?”
And they both pointed at themselves, prompting a groan from the taller one. “We’ve been over this. It’s my name, not his. He’s just being whiny.” A scandalized gasp from the other gets a little victory huff from him. “Ajaw is a part of my name, you see. So, if you’re asking who Ajaw is…”
Kinich’s head hurts. So, so bad. “Alright, sure. If you’re Ajaw, then who are you?” He turns to the blonde one, who puts a hand over his chest.
“You’re not seriously just gonna take that slimy nerd’s word for it, are you?” Then again, nerds are often called that because they’re smart- a dumb nerd is merely an idiot… “Kiiiniiich, all the time we spent together, and you don’t recognise me at all?! You’re unbelievably cruel! That’s why no one likes you!”
That sounds a lot more like Ajaw. “You’re both Ajaw.” Kinich says, gaze going rapidly between the two of them. “You’re… both. Ajaw.”
The Ley Line disorder split Ajaw in half.
“How are you both Ajaw?” He can’t make sense of this. He’s heard of Ley Line disorders creating clones, or versions of you in just slightly different ways- age, gender, whatever- but these two are almost too distinct from one another, and yet, not, at the same time. They have their own names, even. Those are just temporary hallucinations at that, and these two seem real.
“Oh, it’s a long story.”
“Yeah, too long.”
“Seriously, you don’t want to ask.”
“Your puny mortal brain couldn’t even dream of understanding it anyway, Chibinichi.”
The looks on their faces says it all. They're both embarrassed. They're seriously both Ajaw. “I see you dodge questions the same way.”
The taller one, ‘big Ajaw’, Kinich is mentally calling him, shrugs with an overdrawn sigh. “I wasn’t lying. I am Ajaw.”
He’d call the shorter one ‘little Ajaw’, but that would feel odd when they’re the same height… “Not telling the whole truth, more like!” And he gives him a little shove, which barely moves him. “I’m Ajaw.”
“What are your actual names, then?” Kinich says, then quickly adds, already knowing what’s about to happen, “And if either of you say Ajaw, I’m tying you both up and leaving you in here. Your real names.”
They exchange a look between them, one that looks too hesitant for Kinich’s liking, before another light shove his way gets the taller one to speak up. “You stand in the presence of the Almighty Dragonlord, Aj Awaj K'umilal Kan, fourth of the thirteen sovereign rulers.” By the way that the shorter one rolled his eyes, and the fact that Kinich swears he’s heard something like that before, that must be such a typical greeting…
“Being so stuffy in front of Kinich…” He mumbled below his breath, just enough for Kinich to catch.
“And the little brat is Aj Imuch' Paxlaq Lahun. Tenth.”
“Brat?!”
“Are you two done?” Kinich stops them before they can get ahead, already getting tired of their arguing. “Fine. Tall one is Kan, short-” Kinich coughs into his hand. “Blonde one is Lahun. There. Those are your names now.”
They both huffed in their own ways, but… accepted it, weirdly enough. Perhaps the least Ajaw-like thing to have happened so far. Kinich finally untensed, giving himself a second to breathe while they stood there, quiet like kids who just got scolded. “I… Don’t know what’s happened, and I know you well enough to know you’re not going to tell me a thing. So, we’re going to focus on what we came here for. And now that there’s two of you, both of you can help me search.” Lahun, as he’s now named, groaned. “I don’t care what forms you’re taking, I’ll throw both of you in timeout. And with your sizes, your next timeout will be inside of coffins.”
Things are never so peaceful with Ajaw. Even if he’s split in half, and one of them is at least a little more rational than the other. They were endlessly disruptive, couldn’t stop arguing for more than a minute, and had briefly resorted to throwing things at each other before Kinich threatened to throw anything they did directly down their throats. What they were even arguing about, honestly, he had tuned it out completely. Until he heard his name, that is.
“But doesn’t Kinich like me more?”
What?
“Why would he? He likes me more. Obviously. Did you see his face?”
By now, even they know that Kinich has stopped listening to them, sitting on opposite sides of this small cave in the domain while Kinich was toiling away on his knees for the reason he was getting paid.
“What do you mean did I see his face?! He always looks like that!” By now, he can also pick their voices apart, mostly because neither of them sound all that much like Ajaw when they talk. When they start talking over each other, though… “That… dumb… blank stare.” That's Lahun.
“You don't even notice the little nuances in his expression. Our divine wisdom is comparable to none, even our own siblings, it seems…” Kan's little comment there gets a rock thrown right at his head, which he catches with ease, and tosses right back. “No, he clearly likes me more. I'm not an idiot. Like you.”
If not for him dodging out the way at the last second, that rock would've gone right between his eyes. “Augh! You're insufferable! You said it yourself that my personality module is more present! He knows me more, so he likes me more!”
Kinich had a feeling it was something like that, but still chose to not interfere with their petty argument for now. The fact that they're not helping at all aside…
“No, that's exactly why he likes me more. You're annoying. Go on, ask him.” It was a dumb taunt, and he did not think he actually would, but-
They're both Ajaw, in the end.
“Kinich!” Lahun had wrapped his arms around him from behind, pulling him away from the actual reason they were in here. “I'm better than him, aren't I?”
Kinich let out the longest sigh of his life. “Get off.”
“Answer me first! Am I? Do you like me more?” He had the dumbest, cutest, pout on his face, squeezing when Kinich tried to pull him off.
“Ajaw, I mean it-”
“If you're calling me that, that means you like me more, right?”
“You annoying brat!” Kinich hears that, then a shriek, as he's finally let go- via brute force, it felt like.
Kan, for the most part, seemed a lot less… Ajaw-like than Lahun, save for his ego. It's not that Ajaw wasn't smart, it's that it came out of him almost never. Kinich had to beg for his genuine expertise on anything, and he just didn’t have the energy to entertain it most days. But that anger…
He had grabbed Lahun by the hair and forcefully ripped him off of Kinich like that. “You soul-sucking, greedy, nuisance! Did you think I was being serious? Did you?!”
Kinich recovered from the whiplash quickly, turning around to see Kan still pulling on his hair like he was trying to rip all of it out. And probably his brain, with it.
What got him, though, was the tears in Lahun’s eyes. He’s seen Ajaw cry so, so many times, usually pathetic attempts to avoid punishments, his own equivalent of puppy-dog eyes. It’s never worked. But those are very genuine tears, and it tugs at something awful in his chest. So, next thing he knows, he’s up on his feet, forcefully separating the two.
“Enough!” He yells, putting his arms out to act as a barrier. “Enough of this. Seriously. Enough. Argue all you want, but keep your hands off of each other.” If he always got his way, he’d tell them to stop arguing entirely. But it’s Ajaw. It may as well be in his DNA.
Once things are quiet enough, he sighs, turning his attention over to Lahun. “Come here,” and bites his tongue when his eyes sparkle. “I’m just going to check for injuries.” He needed Ajaw to get in here, he’s going to need him to get out, so he needs him in good condition. Yes, that’s the only reason. Surely.
He was oddly still as he threaded through his hair, wincing when gloved fingers passed over spots that are still sensitive but letting him nonetheless. “Ow.” Complaining in his DNA too, of course.
“I’d be careful with him, if I were you.” Kan, who had gone back to sitting down against the cave wall like nothing had happened, suddenly spoke up. “We bleed phlogiston. It’ll burn through those gloves.”
“You made him bleed?”
Kinich doesn’t see it, but he shrugs. “I have sharp claws, little Kinich. It can happen.”
There was no bleeding, thankfully, but Kinich resorted to forcing them to help him. It would stop them from ripping each other apart.
They were fighting over him. He’s trying not to think about it too much.
Now, he ended up alone with Kan, as Lahun insisted he could fly better than his sibling so he went up to an isolated hole in the wall by himself. “Do you two hate each other?” In his attempts to distract himself from that, he figures it’s worth an ask.
“Wow. What gave you that impression?” His sarcasm makes Kinich shoot him an unimpressed look, and Kan gives him a real answer, “Well, we don’t. Do you think we would’ve ended up like this if we did?” He says, albeit, it’s useless information to Kinich when he doesn’t know how they got this way in the first place… “Yeah, he’s a brat. But… a cute brat, you know?”
Kinich wants to say he doesn’t get it at all. But no, he does. Because he doesn’t hate Ajaw. Ajaw is cute. Lahun is cute, too.
Kan is…
“You’re kind of like that, too, little Kinich.”
Hot. It’s really hot in here. Seriously. No ventilation in caves! It’s terrible. He’s going to melt. Liquid phlogiston is unbearable to be around.
“I’m not a brat.” Kinich chooses to insist, kicking away some rubble to keep searching even as Kan’s shadow falls over his back.
“You’re stubborn like one!” A little bit of Ajaw’s anger bled through his tone, and for some reason, Kinich felt himself tense. “No denial of being cute, though? My servant is getting an ego, I see.” Sharp claws pinch his cheek, just enough to hurt without drawing blood.
“Don’t twist my words, Ajaw,” He bit his lip, but Kinich has never felt instant regret so fast.
Kan gripped him by the shoulders, spinning him right around to face him. There’s something dangerous blazing in those eyes. “You know, we think you’re cute.” Is that Ajaw’s usual royal ‘we’ schtick, or does he mean both of them…? “You have a very nice face…”
Before he can touch it though, a certain someone comes crashing down from the ceiling. “Cheater!” Lahun doesn’t go for his skull like he did to him, at least. He just punches him in the back. “That’s not fair! You don’t get to talk to him if I’m not here!”
To his surprise, Kan lifts his hands off of Kinich, up in mock surrender. “And here I was, being so nice about you! You’re not even worthy of our kindness, you know that?”
“Yeah, well, get stuffed!”
Kinich is trying to stay frustrated about the size of this stupid domain- he’s genuinely going to demand double the pay for all this when he gets back to the client- but his head is spinning.
They’re fighting over him. They are seriously, and genuinely, fighting over him. It’s almost a little embarrassing- or it would be, if it wasn’t stirring up some interesting feelings in his gut. Listening to them go back and forth and then manhandling him to prove some stupid point to each other, or to themselves, Kinich has been doing nothing but trying so, so desperately to kick the thought down entirely.
But now they’ve stopped arguing. And that’s scarier.
“This domain can’t be much bigger than this,” Kinich says to the wall, expecting them to listen for some reason. “I’m sure what we’re looking for is close by. If not, then I’m still getting compensated for the trouble…” Terrible, terrible client. “But there’s still- will you two stop whispering? At least talk normally.”
“Oh? Is little Kinich getting lonely?”
“That’s not what-”
“Aw. My poor servant! He feels left out!”
“Stop it-”
“If you want our attention, you can always beg.”
“Ajaw-”
“Don’t be shy! The Almighty Dragonlord is here to listen to all your prayers.”
“What is going on with you?” Kinich’s patience is wearing thin. For what, he doesn’t know. “Whatever it is, spit it out already. One second you’re at each other’s throats, next you’re… I don’t know, plotting?”
“Plotting? How rude!” Kan lets out a fake, exaggerated scoff, elbowing Lahun when he laughs. “We are beings of pure dignity and virtue… we would never stoop to such lows around our… servant.”
“Yes, yes, we weren’t plotting, just… ehm… Thinking. Collaborating! You know, working together. Don’t you humans preach that junk all the time? Teamwork makes the dreamwork, or… whatever?”
“You see, we’ve finally come to an agreement. About you, that is.”
Ajaw is already enough to deal with on his own. Two of him, able to gang up on him, is worse. It’s so much worse.
“We shouldn’t have acted like that around you. It was… immature. Unbefitting of our stations, as Sovereign Lords.” Kan reached his side in a few strides, a hand already slid around his shoulders to hold him in place. “So! We are going to rectify that mistake. Aren’t we?”
“Mmhm! You should get the same treatment all of our other servants did, back in the day. Right?”
“...The terms of our contract prevent you from killing me yourselves. It should be the same, even when you’re like this.”
In Kinich’s defense, it was going to be one of two options. A traitorous part of him prayed it was the other option, while the logical part of him said it had to be that one. He’s read the tales about them.
“Don’t play dumb with me.” Kan squeezes, claws digging into his shoulder.
“Or maybe Chibinichi is just genuinely stupid!” Kinich doesn’t get a chance to squirm away, either, as Lahun takes up painful residence on the other side of him- wrapping his arms around his arm and pulling him as close as he can. “You know we know you’ve been digging around, right? Did you seriously doubt our wisdom?!”
“Then why didn’t you do anything about it?” Kinich dares to challenge him head-on, almost glaring into his eyes. “I thought you would've hated me poking around your business like that.”
As if Kan's grip couldn't get any tighter… “If I didn't know any better, I'd assume you were trying to tease us…” He lets out a soft laugh, revelling in Kinich's slight discomfort. “You're not good at it, little Kinich. It's painted all over your face.”
Over two millennia together, and you start to learn how each other thinks. It becomes easy to know what goes in the other's head, with only a single glance the other's way. “Hehe… Kinich is in denial~!”
Kinich is struggling to maintain a perfectly straight face. “Both of you are unbelievable-”
“And impatient. Open up.”
Luckily for him, he doesn't have to, because in the next split second someone's face was fully up in his own. Kan's. Despite Lahun's clearly jealous gasp, he ignored that, twisting Kinich further into his grasp to get a better angle to push his tongue past his teeth.
“You greedy snake…!” Lahun whined, but couldn't do anything but stand there and watch, and readjust his grip slightly to have his arms around his waist instead. Maybe to give Kinich his arm back- to give him a fighting chance against Kan, that is.
Not that he's going to, anyway. Holy Wayob, he's good at this. By the records he found, the Sovereign Lords were no strangers to… fooling around with humans, to the point that some kept them around solely for that purpose. As for how AIs could have sex drives so high that they'd need that to begin with, he honestly doesn't want to find out. Especially not now he's on the receiving end of it. And now that he's refusing to let him go!
Kinich's lungs end up more full of spit than air quickly. But, perhaps as expected of Ajaw, his protests get ignored, and his attempts to push him off are met with only a tighter grip.
“Gah! You're going to make him pass out, you slimy nerd!”
At least Lahun's on his side…
If he won't listen to him, then he will listen to a fellow dragon, it seems. Because he does split from him then, a string of red and orange-tinged saliva connecting them as Kinich gasps to regain his lost air.
“See? He's fine. You're both such babies.” Kan only chuckled, running a thumb over Kinich’s swollen lip. “Just a little lightheaded…”
“Asshole,” Kinich spat, getting another laugh out of him.
“Well, then, if I'm so mean, then go on, give Lahun a little love, hm?” Which prompts a little squeak out of Lahun. “On second thought, that's an order, Kinich.”
He lets go of the poor human squished between them, only to shove him- and the other dragonlord- to the ground in one push, the two of them crashing rather unceremoniously onto each other.
Lahun's instinct, of course, was to yell at Kan. “You-! Don't touch me like that, you overgrown- oh.”
Kinich was underneath him.
Amidst his brother's clear hesitation to do anything, or maybe it was shock at seeing Kinich like this, Kan squats down at his side. “If you want him, then take him.” And he pats him on the shoulder, a smile best described as sinister plastered across his face. “He's not going to stop you.”
They're talking about him like he's a thing, like he's not even there, but Kinich's face only heats up, and his stomach twists into knots.
“Kinich?”
Don't look at me with those eyes.
“...Hehe.”
I already feel like I'm going insane.
“My Kinich…”
Kinich’s breath gets stolen from him yet again. Lahun is a messier kisser, but his lips are so soft. Demanding and yet, almost a little nervous, like he's out of his depth all of a sudden.
Surely, these feelings for him didn't come out of nowhere, but maybe he never expected to get this far. If Ajaw’s mind, split into two, still wanted him in both, just how long has he wanted him for?
With the way he's kissing him, he can only think it was unbearably long.
When he pulls off to give him air, he just switches his attention elsewhere, trailing kisses down his jawline, his neck- lingering too long at certain spots where Kinich gives him a noticeable reaction. And by this point, his mind is racing a mile a minute, so he finds his head being lifted off the ground during that and onto something softer at least an improvement. Especially when he got shoved down here so roughly…
That ‘something softer’ was the lap of the person who had shoved him, he finds, when he dares to look up. “You should keep your eyes on him.” Kan whispered, like it would do anything to stop Lahun from hearing. “He gets jealous easily.”
“So do you,” he quickly shot back, muffled against Kinich’s shirt.
“But I'm enjoying this, you know.”
Despite Lahun being the one to call him greedy prior, Kan seemed rather content to sit there and watch as he was trying to devour Kinich with his lips, pulling on his shirt to expose more skin.
“You're both really pathetic,” he began to undo Kinich’s head scarf, pulling it loose. “So… it's actually really amusing.”
“See?! He's so mean to me!”
And to Kinich, but that's much less of a concern for him, apparently…
“Quit your whining. Are you seriously gonna throw a tantrum when you've got what you want right here?” Kan grips Kinich’s chin when he speaks, squishing his cheeks. Kinich squirms uselessly, obviously unable to get anywhere with both his hold and Lahun still being on top of him but still feeling like the effort is worth it. “You're both only pathetic because you're moaning like some schoolboy and it's making him hard.”
The level of triumph he felt seeing them both freeze up and go about the same amount of red is something he's going to boast about forever. “What? Didn't notice?” He can feel the heat radiating off of Kinich. It's quite pleasant, actually. “Ah, we truly do have the wisdom befitting a Sovereign Ruler. You two, though… I expected better from you, Lahun. So long merged with me but none of it rubbed off on you. Kinich at least has an excuse because he's a human. For being dumb, that is. Not the other thing.”
Kinich has reached a point of being so embarrassed that he's almost back to looking numb again. “How do I get him to shut up?”
“You’re asking me?! If I knew, I’d do it myself!”
And he deigned to pinch both of them, claws digging into skin. “You can make me shut up by getting on with it. How about that?”
Kinich has kept his mouth shut largely due to not knowing what to say that won’t make him sound utterly pathetic, and now that he’s already been called pathetic despite his very practiced silence he’s not sure what to do. Anything he says is going to incriminate him somehow. It’s going to be stored somewhere, permanently, in Ajaw’s memory, and used against him for the rest of his life. And probably after it.
But when how you feel is written all over your body, no amount of forcing a blank expression is going to save you. Not when a warm hand then decides to pass directly over your erection.
Kinich is extremely ashamed of how much he reacted. He honestly doesn’t know the last time he’s even touched himself. Ajaw makes it difficult to get privacy…
“He wasn’t kidding, huh…” Lahun mumbled to himself, testing the waters by applying just enough pressure to feel an outline through his clothes. His pants are thick enough that it’s saved him on multiple occasions from some otherwise very uncomfortable moments, but only because one, it seems he’s never been turned on enough for it to be visible anyway, and two, the average person won’t just get a hunch and decide to grab his crotch to find out if he is!
Kinich doesn’t quite know when he gave either of them the go ahead to start stripping him down, but when he instinctually lifts his hips to make it easier for Lahun to pull the bottom half of his jumpsuit off, he imagines that’s enough of a yes that either of them care for. If they care for one in the first place. Honestly, odds are, they don’t.
“I’ve seen you naked so many times, y’know.” It would be impossible for him to not. Not when he and Ajaw slept in the same room. In the same bed sometimes, too. Kinich wanted to get changed in the morning? That meant letting Ajaw stare. “But this feels…” Lahun trails off for a moment, as his hands come to rest on Kinich’s thighs, feeling the muscles underneath twitch. “...Different.”
“...He told you to get on with it.” Kinich’s erection is straining perhaps a bit painfully at this point against his underwear, and his hands are dancing so, so damn close to it without touching- you grope him one second, and then get shy the next?!
For a split second, his eyes went wide, before he laughed. “Well, look at that! Chibinichi is getting impatient!” Instead of doing what he wanted, he squeezed one of his thighs in his hand, feeling a sting of pride when he saw red beneath his grip. “You can wait for hours for a stupid Saurian to come out of its nest, but can’t wait a few seconds once your pants are off. How desperate are you? Enough to beg?”
When Kinich doesn’t give him a response, instead whipping his head to the side in some almost childish defiance, he huffs, palming his crotch a little roughly. “Come on, come on. Gimme something to work with here!” He gets a giggle out of watching his brows furrow. “Beg for it, Kinich.”
Briefly, Kinich looks up above him, half expecting half wanting to meet Kan’s less puppy-dog-eyes stare and to try and plead with him to bail him out here, but no. He follows his gaze, and finds it trained on the hand over his hardness.
They’re seriously going to make him beg.
Kinich bites his lip, and swallows just enough of his pride- however much of it he has left right now- to push out a little, “Please.” Then followed by another, weaker, “Please. Don’t tease me.”
“Mmm… What do you think? Good enough?”
Being addressed directly snapped Kan out of whatever weird trance he was just in. “Hm?” Please, for the love of whatever God out there is still listening after watching all of this happen, do not make Kinich repeat himself. “I didn’t hear it.” Motherfucker.
“Hey, Chibinichi. You hear that? He didn’t hear you. You were too quiet.” That was never the problem, but it may as well have been- Kinich could’ve whispered all of it and it wouldn’t have made a difference. “Go on, say it again! Louder!”
“Please,” he repeats, pushing the words out with more force. “Fucking hell- please. Stop doing this and just-” But Kinich’s pitiful re-attempt gets stuck in his throat, when he feels warm hands on either side of his head. Kan. Ugh. Making it harder for him to focus.
But also a little easier.
“Touch me,”
The silence is deafening.
“Please.”
Thankfully, that was accepted. Kinich let out the heaviest sigh of relief when the pressure was let up, and instead, clawed fingers hooked underneath his waistband. “So, you can beg properly.” And dragged his underwear down completely, until Kinich was able to kick them off. “Wonder why you never do it.”
Oddly, on Kinich’s end, losing layers in front of Ajaw wasn’t too odd. He’s seen everything already, so he’s not shy about it. But the way he’s being stared at is making him shy. Like they want to devour him whole. God, it’s so much worse when it’s two of them. It was always impossible to tell what was going on in Ajaw’s head. He could've been making some active attempt to hide that from Kinich. These two aren’t.
“Go easy on the poor boy. It doesn’t come easy to him.” So now Kan jumps to his defense, huh? “Humans these days have forgotten how to serve their betters. All uppity and insisting they can rule nations by themselves. They could barely even manage villages back when we were in power.” Nevermind. That’s not a defense.
And the way these two start chatting amongst themselves right when Lahun decides to finally wrap his hand around his genuinely painful erection is absolutely, extremely, unbelievably infuriating! “Seriously! The whole… tribe setup these days is painful to watch. Who thought letting humans govern themselves was a good idea?”
“Themselves.” Kan snickers, and Kinich bites back a moan when Lahun’s thumb passes over his tip. “Who else would come up with such a stupid plan?”
“The Gods, or their offspring, probably.”
“Can you two shut up?!”
Kinich clamps a hand over his own mouth.
“Oh.”
“I think he doesn’t like us anymore.”
“Nonsense.” Kan pries Kinich’s hand away, intertwining their fingers. “I think he likes us so much that he doesn’t like it when we don’t pay attention to him. Is that right?”
“You’re both… being annoying…”
“Is this annoying?” Lahun squeezes the base of his cock, getting a gasp out of Kinich.
“You have our full attention. Whether you want it or not.” With his free hand, he starts undoing the harness over Kinich’s chest. “But if you want more from us, you only need to ask…”
“I can’t,”
“You don’t have to.” He tosses the harness, and all the other accessories, before letting go of his hand to grab the hem of his shirt. “I’m not going to make you.” A little pointed attack at Lahun, maybe. Kan easily maneuvers Kinich’s arms up to pull his shirt off, now leaving him completely exposed to their eyes. “You’re already being so good for us, so it can’t hurt to indulge you a little.” Right. A little. A little, to them, must be trying to go right into intercourse.
Briefly, Kinich’s mind drifts back to some of those old records sitting around Citlali’s house. Tucked away in a corner, in a box labelled very plainly as DO NOT READ, was a diary entry describing in unfortunately excruciating detail what sex with a Dragonlord was like. Coming from the author’s own experience. Warm, was the word they kept repeating. Impatient was the other one. “...cared very little for prep time, nor how much I’d get hurt…”
Now that he thinks about it, the Dragonlord from that diary entry was-
There’s a shuffle of fabric, and surely enough, Kinich looks over to Lahun and finds that he’s exposed enough- and also gotten close enough- to where now, a distinctly non-human cock was laid over his own.
Warm is accurate, but maybe a bit of an understatement. It feels hot.
“My dear baby brother, just what are you thinking of doing?” Kan puts on a tone of very false sweetness, trying to catch his attention. He gets a grumble out of him while he’s pushing Kinich’s legs apart. “Oi.” Which leads to him snapping his fingers, and Lahun glaring at him. “You don’t want us to break him, do you?”
Before Kinich can even think that surely one round of sex, even with a weird dick, wouldn’t break him at all, a finger prods against his entrance. “Stupid humans.” Lahun whines, bringing three of his fingers to his mouth to quickly lather them in saliva. “Can’t even take an egg without throwing a fit…”
“Don’t scare him.”
According to the twitch that just came from Kinich's cock, that was the opposite of scary. Although he prays neither of them noticed, he knows full well they both did, and are probably storing that information for future use.
Kinich is grateful to be prepared, anyway. Lahun is not gentle with him, forcing his fingers inside with a roughness that’s only barely softened by his spit, so he can only imagine what would be going on right now if Kan hadn’t stepped in to save him…
One finger becomes two becomes three in no time at all, and if Kinich had the luxury of being picky, he would’ve told him to slow down. But, no, the goal was to stretch him out as fast as possible because it seems that he’s so impatient he’s going to explode otherwise. At least it didn’t feel terrible. Though crude and edging towards painful, he finds he doesn’t mind the sensation of his claws occasionally scraping against his insides, nor when they pass over his prostate- which he manages to just miss, every single time.
It’s simply in their nature to be selfish. They were made that way, after all. To always chase their own pleasure first. “There,” which is why he pulled his hand out just as roughly. “That’s good enough, right?” And this time, he looked over at Kinich for approval.
“...Mhm.”
There’s no longer a thought in his head as to whether or not he even should be giving himself up so easily. He could always tug on the bonds of their contract, get them to do what he wants. But such an idea can’t form when he feels hands grip his hips, and take a mere moment to line up before driving in with perfect efficiency. What else could you expect of a Dragonlord?
His fingers did absolutely nothing to prepare him for the real thing except making forcing his way inside a little easier. Kinich’s entire body shook, and his back arched high up off the ground, prompting Kan to gently push him back down. “He’s so… Tight…” By Lahun’s tone, neither of them can tell if he’s whining or happy about that. “Kinich…”
He did luck out in the fact that Lahun is not massive. In fact, he’s actually pretty much average. And a little smaller than Kinich, but he’s not going to say any of this out loud. Yes, it’s a weird feeling- ridges aren’t exactly normal- but what got Kinich was the shock, and also… he can’t remember the last time anything was inside. Not even his own hand.
Lahun wastes plenty of time adjusting- of course, however long Kinich has had to wait for this is nothing compared to these two, probably- before his hands abandon their mission of ripping Kinich’s hips apart so he can lay over him again, his head buried in his neck. “Gonna move,” how kind of him to warn him this time. “Loo… Loosen up a little, Kinich. You’re crushing me.”
You’re the one crushing me, Kinich thought to say, but the words never left. Instead, what came out of his mouth was a moan, as his neglected prostate got jabbed directly into. “Fuck-”
“That’s it, that’s it… Hehe, you can do something right…” Kinich ignores his mumbling, instead focusing on somewhere to put his hands. “You’re too quiet, Chibinichi…” Fangs graze over his neck, as Kinich settles for putting his arms over Lahun. “Give me more of that…”
Before long, one of Kinich’s legs was up around him too, as each thrust of Lahun’s hips was pushing his cock deeper into his insides. Between the unique texture, the steady leak of incredibly warm precum inside and his mouth all over his neck, Kinich is losing his composure faster than what he’d like.
Lahun is too, at least. They both take different methods to muffling the absolutely pathetic noises that would’ve left them- Kinich digging his teeth into his lower lip, and Lahun’s going into Kinich’s neck instead- when neither of them can take it anymore.
Kinich’s own release is almost a little cathartic, despite being utterly drowned out by what he realises is absolutely some sort of Phlogiston-infused cum (or, at the very least, something close to it- he has no idea just how… biological these two are.) that he let out, by the sheer heat spreading through his insides. He’s felt similar holding his hand over Liquid Phlogiston.
For a while, him and Lahun just spend a moment laid there like that, and the sweet moment that is Lahun nuzzling into the crook between his neck and shoulder gets stopped in its tracks when Kinich opens his eyes properly for the first time in a while, and looks up.
It’s only there for a split second. But Kan had such a bitter, jealous look on his face. Meeting Kinich’s shocked expression, though, he schools it into a smile. “Did you forget I was here, Kinich?”
He kind of did. “I…”
“I’m not offended.” That face could’ve told him otherwise… “I got a front row seat to all that. Why would I be?”
“Liiar,” Lahun mumbled, finally coming back to his own senses. “He probably hated the fact that I got you first.”
Kan’s eye twitches. “You wanna bet on that?”
Well, Kinich is fully awake again. “Stop it.” He sits up, taking Lahun with him. “Both of you.” And, despite his whines, fully disentangles himself from Lahun.
“You really don’t like watching us fight, huh.” Kan’s tiny observation went without a response, which was fine. He wasn’t expecting one. “Come here, Kinich.” He pats his lap, which Kinich’s head had been resting in the entire time. Which must’ve meant that, every time he moved a little bit, that his head would’ve been rubbing up against–
Kinich shakes the thought out of his head. He enjoys what little sanity he has left, thanks. After letting Lahun get one last kiss in to his shoulder, he slips over into his lap, letting Kan move him as he pleases into a more comfortable position. Fabric against bare skin was driving him a little nuts, but he can’t quite imagine either of them wanting to strip down for his sake…
Of all their staring today, for the first time, Kinich truly feels like he’s being ogled. “Your poor lip…” Kan seems to have a stronger eye for detail, which is probably what’s causing it. He takes his time to savor his meals, instead of trying to eat the whole thing in one bite. Like a certain someone, who is currently pouting while tracing lines into Kinich’s back with his finger. Writing his name, in the lightest scratches, that’ll be gone in a few minutes, or whenever someone else's hand runs down his back.
Kan ran his thumb over the bruised, still bleeding lip before he traced it down his chin, spreading the blood as he went. “It doesn’t hurt.” Kinich felt a sudden need to insist, as if that’s what he was worried about. Not knowing just what he was inviting in.
“Really?” When he puts both his hands on either side of his face, Kinich- mentally- braces for impact. “Do you want it to?”
“Nn-”
No chance to respond with this guy, as ever. Once again, their lips have been crashed together, but without any of the gentleness nor grace as he had last time. The best way Kinich could describe it is, ‘it’s like he’s trying to eat my damn face,’ but that’s a tad bit too crude for what may be a more calculated attempt at eating his damn face. Fangs pierced his lips like they were made of paper, and then kissed him properly, using his tongue to clean up the blood.
Kinich winced, and he pulled away. “No? Too much?” Seeing Kinich bring his own hand up to his mouth to assess the damage, he laughed. “Poor little Kinich. Can't take a little bit of rough play.”
“That… wasn't a little…”
“By your human standards, maybe. You'll get used to it, though. I believe in you.”
These two are going to kill Kinich before the day is over.
“You've been through worse than a few bites, anyway.” He traced a finger over the mark Lahun left on him. “So, surely you're not that bothered. “Malipo” Kinich is stronger than that, right?”
“And what exactly am I supposed to tell people if they ask why it looks like a rabid animal tried ripping me apart with its teeth?”
“Tell them Ajaw got you. It'd be accurate, wouldn't it?”
Just not an explanation for why his lip, specifically, is torn up. “I don't think Ajaw’s teeth could make a mark like- Ajaw!” Kinich can't afford to get distracted with these two. It feels like he relaxed for just a second before a finger took that chance to slip into him.
“What? You didn't seriously think we were done, did you?” Kan's hand, this time. Which is bigger- and honestly, less dainty- than Lahun's, but more skillful. “Don't tell me your brain is starting to leak out of your ears. It was kind of obvious.”
“I had a feeling but- ah-” He's also going much slower with him, despite the fact that he's already plenty loose and Lahun’s cum is still sitting inside of him, bringing a full-body shudder out of Kinich when he rubs against his sweet spot.
“Less talking, Kinich.” He pushes a second finger inside, scissoring him open. “You should really try to save your energy.” Fine by him. Kinich slumps forward, his head resting on his shoulder. Why he feels the need to do this, Kinich has no idea, and he knows whatever answer he's going to get out of him if he asks will likely be unhelpful.
This is… comfortable, Kinich finds himself thinking. They're so warm that they're just nice to be close to- something Kinich knows is also true of Ajaw, from the multiple times he's woken up with him in his arms or been held too close to his true form- but given he was already stretched out, the easy slide of Kan's fingers through his insides was probably the most solely pleasurable thing to happen so far. Not that Lahun didn't feel good, or that Kinich doesn't like a little bit of pain. It's just different.
And, speaking of that very Dragonlord, unlike his older brother he can't just watch. He sits behind Kinich, and leans in, pressing hot kisses along his back- his shoulder blades, the back of his neck, anywhere he can reach.
“Greedy as ever...” Kan huffs, but makes no effort to stop him. Not when it's only adding to the sweet noises coming out of Kinich.
But all good things must come to an end, and Kinich bites his lip again when he actually whines at the loss of his fingers. “Patience.” Coming from you?! “I'm not done with you yet.”
Of course. He was preparing him again. Not that he needed to, given he could already be considered well and ready enough, but- oh, holy fuck, nevermind.
Kinich's body went so tense just at the tip that he lifted his head up, getting a glimpse at the actual behemoth poking out of Kan's clothes and now pushing its way inside of him.
“Haha, look at his face!” Lahun had pressed himself closer, poking Kinich’s cheek with a snicker. “C'mon, he's not that much bigger.”
Lahun? Average. Kan? Entirely unethical. “That's-”
“Oh, is little Kinich scared? It's not like I'm going to rip you in half…” Even when he's messed around with other people from his tribe, they've never been so- “If you think this is intimidating, just wait and see.” What's that supposed to mean.
He has to cling to him for support when he starts pushing Kinich’s hips down to take more of him inside. Now he thinks all of this prep wasn't enough. Was Lahun just prep for him?! Is that it?!
Kinich soon slumps over again, unbelievably grateful that he wasn't moving straight after getting most of it inside. Kinich seriously does not have sex enough for something like this to go perfectly smoothly, the difference between the two of them being way, way too much to make it easily comfortable.
“Kinich?”
“Mm.”
“May I?”
The first time he's been asked permission for anything the whole time.
“...Yeah.” He nods. “Move.” He wouldn’t have considered himself ready, but will he ever be?
He takes it slow with him. Either from some godly restraint, or a desire to not actually hurt him that terribly. Or the inconvenience that is the fact that Lahun still cannot keep his hands nor mouth off of Kinich. It’s not overwhelming- Kinich would even say that it’s keeping him grounded…
Nothing can distract from the feeling of Kan inside of him, though. Kinich could only say he feels full. If he was any bigger, or was going any rougher, Kinich is sure he’d be walking out of here with some permanent damage. Instead, he’s gentle. Slow. It’d drive Kinich mad if his size didn’t more than make up for it. Right at that cusp of being too big without being too big.
“Did you two… make these forms yourselves?” The added bonus is that Kinich can talk, if he focuses.
“That’s seriously what you’re asking? Right now?” Lahun seems… occupied, so Kan answers. “Hardly. We can add our own touches, but…” He grips onto Kinich’s hip, pushing up with a bit more force than before. “Some parts are simply how they were when we first had need of these forms.”
“Great, because I would’ve- I would’ve killed you if you picked… this yourself.”
“Hm? Don’t humans usually like it bigger? You’re seriously a weirdo, Kinich.”
“Shut up, would you…”
Fair enough, Kan thinks, shutting his mouth by finally laying his own bite over Kinich’s neck, on the opposite side to where Lahun’s is. The thought did cross his mind to bite on top of it, but Lahun seems so peaceful where he is, leaving hickeys on Kinich’s back, and who is he to rob him of that?
Kinich is nearing his limit. Again. He’s honestly ashamed of his own endurance. After all this, Ajaw is not allowed to complain if he catches Kinich jacking off. Like he did the last two times he did, ages ago, before he stopped entirely. Before, they both were just as awful at everything, so it barely felt bad. Kan is still so composed. Rocking his hips up into him at such a steady, careful pace that he’s almost lost for words.
He’s not. That’s why him and Lahun have started muttering to each other-
Conveniently, in a language that Kinich doesn’t understand.
Ancient Natlantean. Something Ajaw has annoyed Kinich about learning, but he just saw it as unimportant. Now he wishes he did.
“What are you two…”
“Sorry, I don’t think he can wait any longer than this.”
“Wait?”
Kan suddenly shifted their positions, laying on his back with Kinich on top of him. Still inside. “Just saying, Kinich, you might want to take a very deep breath instead of talking.” His hands slide down to stretch his hole, already way more stretched than it’s been in the past- what, several years?, further open. “A little bit of free advice from a Sovereign Lord. You should take it. We don’t grant such a thing to simply anyone…”
“What are you doing-”
Kinich found out in mere seconds.
“...You’re joking,”
But not only was Lahun’s shadow hovering over him, the second tip pressing very incessantly at his forcefully opened entrance was very real.
“That’s not…” Going to fit? To work? The protests are dying on his tongue. No matter what he says, they’re going to go through with it. Even if it doesn’t work, they’re going to go through with it. ‘It’s in their nature to take what they want.’ That stupid diary entry. He should’ve never read it. Maybe then he’d be a little more surprised.
“Breathe, Kinich.” Kan doesn’t move his hands away, not until- amidst a silent, jaw-slacked scream out of Kinich- Lahun has, somehow, managed to slot himself inside, right next to him.
“It’s almost- too tight, haha.” Lahun kisses the mark he left, giving an experimental grind of his hips just to see how well he can even move with how hard Kinich has clamped down. “Are you okay, Kinich?”
Why are you asking, a bitter part of him thought, but instead, “I’m okay,” is what got mumbled out, pressed against Kan’s shoulder. “I’m okay. I can take it.”
“So brave, little Kinich. Just a moment ago you were whining, but now this. You only like a real challenge, don’t you?”
“Please, just move.”
“Already?”
“Yes!”
“It’s your funeral, y’know.” Perhaps to be fully expected of him, Lahun took the opportunity right away, steadying himself with claws creating new marks in Kinich’s hips as he seems determined to prove Kinich wrong by the slow drag of his cock through his insides.
And he got to enjoy the sight of Kinich’s back arching up into him as he came, his release spilling over the other Dragonlord beneath him.
“Shit- Sorry, I-”
All this time, Kan had been holding onto his incredibly frail, tiny string of control. It has finally snapped. He grabs onto Kinich, pressing him back against him to force their lips together, biting his lip to get his mouth open– and successfully muffling the noises that came out of Kinich when he decided to move, too.
The stretch is near impossible to manage. So, naturally, they don’t care about the limits of Kinich’s human body whatsoever, and he can hardly breathe both from Kan’s tongue down his throat and the accidentally alternating thrusts. He hasn’t even got time to think like this.
“Bi… Big brother, let go, he can’t…” Oh, good, at least one of them cares for his ability to be awake for this. “He can’t breathe, dumbass…”
With a tug on Kinich’s hair, the two are separated, and Kan actually scowls at him. “Who are you to boss me around, huh?”
“No… No fighting, don’t you dare,” Kinich coughs out, his voice trembling so much more than he would have ever liked to hear. “Don’t. Please. Not now.”
For the first time in their lives, they can see tears running down his face.
Pain? Pleasure? Both? Something else entirely? Does it matter? All of that anger in Kan’s eyes had already melted away. “Shh, Kinich, you’re taking this so well, aren’t you? Just a little more…”
It was an unbelievably rare sight. One that both of them were going to store in their memories forever. Not just the crying, but the sounds he makes, the way he moans, every little twitch and shudder- intoxicating. All of it. If you chip away at him enough, through all the layers of numbness and blank stares, you eventually end up here. With tears.
“You’re so good, Kinich…” And when the hell did you start crying, too, Lahun? “Seriously…” Or maybe he’s overwhelmed, too, given he’s about to-
Liquid Phlogiston, under all circumstances, is dangerous for humans to touch without proper protection. Of course, in a very diluted state- such as the kind that the Sovereign Lords expel during times of… excitement, shall we say, it can be safe even for direct consumption. This naturally goes under the assumption that it is very little, NOT several loads, and certainly, most definitely not, multiple at the same time.
The short moment between both of them both cumming inside of him was not long enough to stop it from being painful.
And holy fuck, Kinich has never felt so good in his life.
“I didn’t pass out, did I?” is usually the first thing someone who very much did pass out asks.
“Shockingly, no.”
Kinich feels three things: hot, horribly empty, and so, so much pain.
“Human bodies are not able to take anywhere near as much as you did, so congrats, Kinich. You’re officially special.” Lahun had, at some point, wandered off somewhere, sitting down right by his head.
Half the heat, it seems, is Kan’s body heat, as he’s pressed up against him on his side. The other half is what may be lingering burns. “I’m only now special, am I?”
“Don’t listen to his nonsense.” Funny. Kinich swears he’s said that about Ajaw a million times. “You're fine. You went... unresponsive for a little while, and we had to clean you up. All it means is that you… are probably going to be out of jobs for a while. But, hey, good news. You are getting paid for this one.”
“I am?”
“Ta-dah.” Lahun held up the relic they had been after the whole time, a glow of pride over his face. “And I expect a proper, formal thank-you worthy of the Almighty Dragonlord.”
“...Where was it?”
They both exchange a very long, awkward look.
“...So, um, promise not to get mad, but… it was actually right by the entrance, haha.”
They are so fucking lucky that Kinich cannot move.
“Are we going to talk about what happened?"
“Nope.”
“Ajaw.”
“I said no! Yeesh, get off my dick, Kinich…”
“I’ve been off of it for a while now. That’s exactly why I think we should talk.”
“You and your dirty jokes! Have you no shame being so crude in front of your betters!”
“Talk, or I’m dragging you back.”
