Work Text:
Being with Jabber was a toxic thing but you both made it work. Or, at least you thought you did.
For the longest time you held on to the belief that things were going to work, that it wasn't already falling apart at the seams. But now you're not even talking to each other any more and you lost a set of earrings on his bed somewhere that probably fell off to the side.
Thinking of what to say of how to say it, agonizing over how to communicate, you ended up deciding on leaving it for another day.
Feeling dejected over the little things as he drifts further apart from you.
This sensation so consuming, wasting about, wallowing in with the devastating realization as denial fades into grief at the relationship that was barley even one to begin with.
