Work Text:
Cloud was standing guard just outside the east hall when he heard a commotion. He’d been given express orders not to enter under any circumstances, but surely this was an exception?
He could worry about getting a reprimand later. Prince Sephiroth was in there. If something was wrong, Cloud would never forgive himself if he’d sat outside doing nothing. Wasn’t that the point of being a royal guard? Guarding things?
Before Cloud could get to the doors, they burst open all on their own, and out came a tide of screaming nobles. Cloud shoved his way through them, suddenly desperate. There should have been guards posted inside of the room too, but Cloud caught a flash of silver and heard the clanking of armor and knew he would be on his own. Fucking cowards.
It was up to him now, since all those supposedly loyal to the crown, fit to fight or not, had abandoned their prince. Prince Sephiroth didn’t have the best reputation, but even then, Cloud never would’ve thought that his people would abandon him so easily. It made his blood burn hot with anger.
He only had a matter of seconds to take everything in. The floor was covered in shattered glass; one of the stained-glass windows at the far end of the room was completely destroyed.
Chairs were knocked to the floor, some of them broken in the chaos. And there, on top of the same table the nobles had been gathered around for their meeting, was the intruder. He was running, sword in hand, to the other end of the room.
Cloud barely spared a glance at the prince. He was still seated, and didn’t look like he’d registered the threat at all. Cloud knew of Prince Sephiroth’s prowess in battle, knew he was a competent fighter, but to see him frozen in place, his sword nowhere to be found… Cloud knew what he had to do.
There was no time to think, no time to do anything but react. If he didn’t move in the next few seconds, the prince would be dead, and Cloud would have failed his life’s purpose.
In a burst of speed he didn’t know he had in him, Cloud ran forward and leapt up onto the table, barely intercepting the would-be assassin. He was shocked, and it was clear that Cloud had caught him off guard.
Though Cloud was small, he wasn’t lacking in strength. He used all of it to slam into the attacker with his whole body, bringing them both crashing down to the floor.
The attacker’s sword was lost somewhere in their scuffle, but Cloud was well trained. He wouldn’t be disarmed so easily. In a few seconds, he had the man pinned beneath him, and before Cloud realized what he was doing, he’d brought his sword down, stabbing the assassin through the heart.
He went limp. His eyes went dim. And Cloud was still sitting on top of what was now a corpse, his chest heaving with the force of the adrenaline pumping through him.
Noise from behind him snapped Cloud out of whatever haze he was in. More guards entering the room. Maybe the same ones who had just abandoned their prince.
Cloud whipped his head around, searching frantically for Prince Sephiroth. He was still sitting in that chair, barely moved at all. He didn’t look threatened, like he’d been prepared to face an attempt on his life. He didn’t look the slightest bit affected by it all.
In that moment, their eyes met, and something in Cloud jolted. It felt electric, and there was something so strange about the tiny smile that flashed across Sephiroth’s face, at the way his strange eyes shone with something like amusement.
He smiled at Cloud, a secret, small thing for just the two of them, and then he was gone.
Well, it wasn’t that he was gone. It was more that Cloud’s view of him was suddenly blocked by the guards that were swarming the prince, having finally decided to do their jobs now that there was no threat to their lives.
Cloud was hauled up to his feet before he realized anyone was behind him, still out of it from all that adrenaline leaving him all at once.
It was one of the guards. He didn’t even care that he was definitely going to be chewed out for this. They were supposed to keep anyone who dared attack the crown alive so that they could be interrogated.
He’d been so full of rage and desperation that he hadn’t had time to think about what he was supposed to do. He’d just acted, doing what was right to protect his prince even when no one else would. As he was practically dragged away, all Cloud could think about was Prince Sephiroth, about the weird smile he’d given him. What was the deal with that?
The last thing Genesis wanted to hear upon returning from a diplomatic trip to a neighboring kingdom was that Sephiroth had been attacked.
Even worse was the fact that he was hearing of the attack in bits and pieces, through rumors and gossip between servants and guards who assumed that nobles didn’t pay attention to those beneath their station. Genesis was always listening, though he was smart enough to keep that to himself.
It wasn’t surprising that an attempt had been made on his brother’s life. It certainly wasn’t the first time.
Genesis couldn’t say that he was truly surprised to hear that all but one of Sephiroth’s guards had abandoned him during his time of peril, either too cowardly or traitorous to defend their prince, though it still filled him with rage.
The gall of them all! It was no secret that Sephiroth was not well liked by the people, the whispers of “bastard” and “freak” having never ceased in the nearly twenty years since Sephiroth had been brought to the palace.
Genesis seethed. He did not stop to change out of his travel clothes or wash away the dust he was surely covered in. He needed to see his brother. Needed to know that he was alright, even though the idea of an assassin harming Sephiroth was laughable.
It was well into the night, and there was nowhere else Sephiroth would be but in bed. He stalked through the hallways, making his way towards the far tower that housed Sephiroth’s rooms. He insisted it didn’t bother him, which was the only reason Genesis hadn’t ever raised hell in an attempt to move him closer.
It was a tricky thing. For as much as their father spoke of treating them as equals, that they were both princes, it simply wasn’t reality. Genesis was clearly the favored son—the first, of purer blood—and their father didn’t bother trying to hide it. Hence Sephiroth being shoved away like an afterthought, forced to live in the tower that was distinctly separate from the rest of the palace.
The worst part was that Sephiroth didn’t care at all. It made Genesis feel like a fool, constantly getting upset on Sephiroth’s behalf when the man himself was completely indifferent to his own mistreatment.
As Genesis entered the door at the base of the tower and started the long ascent toward the top, he couldn't help the way his mind wandered to the last time he’d ascended these steps. No matter how many times he’d tried to wipe the memory from his mind, to act as if it had never happened, he couldn’t forget what they had done.
Genesis knew that it was wrong, had known it in the moment, but it hadn’t stopped him then. Sephiroth knew it was wrong too, surely, but he didn’t care the way that Genesis did. Maybe it wasn’t wrong to him at all, and he was just playing along for Genesis’ sake like he did with so many things. Infuriating.
Belatedly, he realized how heavy his breathing had grown, and he knew it was not entirely from anger. He stopped and took a deep breath, unwilling to face his brother in the state he was in.
It was inevitable, really. Rushing toward his brother with such single-minded focus, not entirely dissimilar to the last time this had happened—Genesis was helpless as the memory he was trying so hard not to acknowledge overcame him.
Genesis couldn’t remember how it had started, not that it mattered. He was angry about something, but the details were blurry. Their father was probably getting in the way of his plans again, or perhaps Sephiroth had done something to piss him off.
He was angry often, so he didn’t know why it was different this time.
Why was it that instead of pushing him away or goading him to spar or doing literally anything else, Sephiroth had seen Genesis’ burning rage and pulled him into a fiery kiss.
Genesis knew better. He knew better than to want this, had suppressed the desires he felt for his brother, had never imagined that this could happen (well, he’d imagined it plenty, but he’d never dared to hope that it could become reality, no matter how possessive Sephiroth was of him).
He knew that he should pull away, but he did not.
When Sephiroth guided Genesis’ hands into his hair, he followed along easily enough, running his fingers through the long tresses and then pulling firmly near the scalp, delighting in the way his brother moaned when he did. Sephiroth was baring his throat so prettily for Genesis, so inviting—of course he couldn’t help himself.
Sephiroth was so unnaturally pale that the marks Genesis sucked into his skin were dark, speckling the elegant length of his neck with bursted blood vessels and mottled bruises of red and purple. The colors suited him beautifully.
There were no words exchanged between them. They didn’t need any.
Even though Genesis had spent the first portion of his life without Sephiroth, he could never live without him now. They were inseparable, closer than was natural for two of their ilk, possessive and mutually obsessive despite their many differences.
Was this what Sephiroth’s devotion looked like? Was this what he’d meant when he’d sworn to Genesis during their teenage years that he would forever stay by his side, despite how disdainfully Genesis had treated him at first?
Genesis began backing Sephiroth toward his bed, wanting to see just how far that devotion went. Surprisingly (though perhaps he shouldn’t have been surprised at all), Sephiroth allowed himself to be guided, eventually falling against the mattress and dragging Genesis down with him.
He was straddling Sephiroth now, his legs caging in that startlingly slim waist. Sephiroth had begun to pet at his hair, his arms, his wandering hands soon tugging impatiently at Genesis’ robes.
How could Genesis deny either of their wants?
He rushed to tear off his robes, not caring for the sounds of popping seams. He was too impatient to remove the trousers he wore beneath, but he managed to shove them far enough down his thighs to free his cock, his breath catching at the sight of it glistening in the open air.
Were they really going to do this…?
Long fingers tugged at Genesis’ hair, and though it sent a thrill up his spine, Genesis didn’t find the sensation as enjoyable as his brother clearly did. Every time Genesis pulled at Sephiroth’s hair, he would go limp for just a fraction of a second, the slit pupils of his eyes widening ever so slightly.
Genesis wanted to see them blown out completely.
He dove down towards Sephiroth, pulling him into another passionate kiss. It was messy, moreso than Genesis preferred to be, but neither of them minded. Sephiroth certainly didn’t have any complaints about the way that Genesis was stuffing his tongue into his mouth, scraping his teeth against his lips, sharing saliva between them.
Sephiroth’s own robes were unnecessarily complicated, with too many clasps and that ridiculous belt of his, but when Genesis moved his hands down to fight against the fabric, he found that Sephiroth had already started.
The garment was splayed out beneath Sephiroth, the stark black fabric contrasting against his pale skin and silver hair in a way that threatened to kill Genesis.
Hastily, Genesis helped to remove Sephiroth’s trousers so that he was almost completely naked, his robes only clinging to his arms, held wide open to put everything on display (more than it usually was—Sephiroth never had taken to wearing a proper tunic, much to Genesis’ frustration).
His chest was plush as it swelled with muscle, and Genesis could not help but grope at it. He’d wanted to for so damn long. It felt like Sephiroth kept his chest on display specifically to tease him, like a forbidden, tempting fruit. Genesis was done starving himself.
He leaned down to lick and suck at Sephiroth’s dusky nipples, feeling how they hardened against his tongue.
Sephiroth’s cock was beautiful, proportional to his size and bobbing against his abdomen. Genesis wondered if it looked the same in his true form. How was it that he’d never thought to look?
Well, he was looking at Sephiroth now, at his pulsing cock as it leaked clear precum all over his pale skin. Genesis wanted to taste that, too, but they were both growing impatient.
Finally, when he could take it no longer, Genesis hoisted Sephiroth’s thighs up, holding them together and pressing them forward, nearly bending Sephiroth in half.
Sephiroth took to it gamely, allowing Genesis to move him about, though he didn’t help him either. Bastard.
When Genesis spat on Sephiroth’s naked thighs, he flinched, the muscles in his legs tensing before relaxing once more. Genesis always got a thrill out of catching Sephiroth off guard; it was such a rare thing.
Sephiroth’s thighs were much like his chest; soft yet strong, corded with muscle but plush.
When Genesis drove his cock between them, he nearly came undone. Sephiroth was strong enough that when he flexed the muscles of his thighs he was able to clamp down around Genesis, making him nearly sag forward on top of his brother.
He set a frantic, graceless pace. Theirs was a desperate, passionate coupling, an act borne out of raised tempers and a tension that had been growing between them for years now.
Every time Genesis rutted against Sephiroth’s cock, pushing between his thighs and beyond to his shaft, they both jolted, unable to hold back the noises they were making.
Next time… next time Genesis would find oil so that he could fuck Sephiroth properly.
The thought made him freeze. There could be no next time. This could never happen again, should certainly not be happening now–
He didn’t realize that he’d stopped rutting between Sephiroth’s thighs until they clamped down tightly around him, so tight that Genesis was forced to pay attention.
“I can practically hear you overthinking, Genesis. Stop. This is right. We both want it, so keep going,” Sephiroth rasped, his voice raw from how much he’d been moaning. Genesis had never heard him sound like that before.
So of course, he continued. He fucked Sephiroth’s thighs until they both came onto the planes of his sculpted abdomen, until they were panting into each others mouths and there were no more thoughts in Genesis’ head at all.
It felt like the memory of that night was branded upon his very soul. It had been almost a year since then, and Genesis had never managed to forget, though both he and Sephiroth acted as if it had never happened. He had a feeling that Sephiroth did so out of something akin to amusement rather than shame, all because he wanted Genesis to be the one to breach the subject.
He’d sooner give up his fire materia.
Genesis frantically remembered his rage. He readjusted his robes, covering his growing erection, and took another deep breath. Never again. He was going to talk to Sephiroth, maybe even yell at him a little, and nothing else was going to happen.
By the time he made it to the top of the stairs, his erection had subsided, and in its place his anger had bubbled to the surface all over again.
He wanted to hesitate, but he did not, because he was Genesis Rhapsodos and he did not hesitate.
He slammed the door open, not even bothering with a proper greeting. “Gods damnit Sephiroth!”
Sephiroth, for his part, looked amused. He didn’t even seem surprised at all, and barely acknowledged Genesis’ presence. He was sitting in his bed (just the sight of it threatened to kill Genesis), with a scroll sprawled out across his lap, staring intently at it with a rather stupid look on his face.
Whatever this was… it was unlike him.
Genesis faltered. But then he stepped forward, shutting the door behind him.
“Aren’t you going to tell me what happened?” He demanded.
Sephiroth simply raised a single, perfectly manicured eyebrow at him. He clearly was confident that Genesis had already heard every detail about the incident.
Still, Genesis wanted to hear it from his mouth.
Shockingly, Sephiroth told him all about it. There was barely any hesitation, and Genesis didn’t even have to prod him. Usually it took much longer to get Sephiroth to give in, stubborn thing that he was. Sometimes it seemed like he rankled against Genesis on principle alone, and it was often difficult to convince him to at least let Genesis engage in court politics when Sephiroth found it all beneath him.
How eager he was to speak about it should have been Genesis’ first warning sign. But when Sephiroth told him of the young man (blonde and fair, smaller than them both by far, yet strong enough to heft a sword nearly as long as he was tall) who had come to his rescue, Genesis began to panic.
He never would have described Sephiroth as dopey before, cool and serious as he usually was, but there was no denying the besotted look on his face. To anyone else, Genesis knew, Sephiroth would look much the same as always—it was the tiny nuances in his expression that could be seen as clear as day to him. Genesis could read his brother like a book, and he couldn’t deny the possessive thrill that came with knowing that nobody else in existence could.
This was bad. This was very, very bad.
Genesis had never seen Sephiroth like this. What could this random guard possibly have that he did not? He and Sephiroth had been by each other’s sides for over fifteen years, had forged an inseparable, incomparable bond. They were plotting together to eliminate the threats that unknowingly stood against them, for Goddess’ sake.
What was so special about this man to have captivated his brother so?
Genesis felt himself bristle. His anger was burning through him all over again, so hot that he risked his magic getting out of control. He couldn’t help the way his fingertips heated up, singeing the edges of the scroll in Sephiroth’s lap, who pulled it back with a hiss.
The scroll was mostly intact, but when Genesis looked down at it to find that it contained information on one Cloud Strife, he felt his blood boil. He yanked the paper from Sephiroth’s hands, relishing in the way that it burnt in his own.
Sephiroth was angry with him now. Gone was the dopey, gooey look on his face, replaced with hardened anger. Good. Genesis was going to be sick if he had to see him like that any longer.
It didn’t feel like a triumph, though. Sephiroth was obsessive, he knew all too well. If he got it in his head that he was interested in this guard—even worse, that he wanted him, then it would be disastrous.
Genesis hated this. He refused to name the feeling that was growing within him, something worse than anger. He knew what it was, deep down, the jealousy that burned inside of him. He never thought that anyone else would catch Sephiroth’s attention, and now that it had happened, he felt more possessive of his brother than ever before.
But Sephiroth was not his. He could never be, even if Sephiroth himself didn’t care about the rules that humans made up for themselves.
If he did not leave this room right now, something bad would happen. Not even sex (because that was what had happened the last time he’d come to Sephiroth’s room; he had fucked his brother in this very bed). Sephiroth’s rage was just as potent as his, and though what was fueling it was not the same, Genesis did not want to see which one of them would be burned.
He whirled around and stormed out, letting the heavy door slam shut behind him. He choked down his panic and his rage, and tried to reassure himself. This was a passing fancy. Sephiroth would get over the sweet little thing who had unnecessarily come to his rescue, and things would go back to how they were before. Sephiroth was his.
But he knew how deep the depths of Sephiroth’s obsession could go, and Genesis was worried about what could happen if this wasn’t just a passing fancy. After all, Sephiroth had never had eyes for anyone but him.
He would deal with it if it came to pass. And if this Cloud Strife had to burn, then so be it.
In the weeks that followed the latest failed attempt on his life, Sephiroth found himself growing rather restless.
He did not like fighting with Genesis. He liked it even less when Genesis chose to drag things out without any attempts at reconciliation, especially when Sephiroth wasn’t entirely sure what he’d done to upset his brother this time.
Genesis was difficult, though Sephiroth didn’t care for him any less because of it. However, he often struggled with navigating his brother’s fickle moods.
He did not attempt to apologize, as it would not be sincere.
Instead he trained, ensuring his senses and sword stayed sharp. It was rare that any could draw blood from him, and all those who had were dead (all those except Genesis, his eternal exception; Genesis was the only one to have seen him for what he truly was and lived). The idea of an assassin legitimately threatening his life was laughable, so he did not understand why it was that Genesis was so upset about it.
Sephiroth wondered, idly, if the guard who had so valiantly protected him, unnecessary as it was—Cloud Strife—would be able to draw blood from him, were they to spar. He did not know, but he wanted to see Cloud try.
As Genesis was currently refusing to spar with him, all Sephiroth could do was train on his own and imagine what it would be like with Cloud, as he already intimately knew what it was like to fight his brother.
When Sephiroth thought back to the day of the attack, he did not focus on his would-be killer, nor those who had fled from his side. Over and over again, his mind was drawn to the memory of Cloud Strife, of the crazed look in his eyes when he had killed a man for Sephiroth.
He found that he wanted to see Cloud mad with bloodlust again, all for him.
Ah. Perhaps this was why Genesis was upset with him?
Sephiroth did not understand, though there were many things Genesis did that made him feel that way. He wasn’t sure if it was because Genesis himself was so complex or due to his own failure to understand much of humanity as a whole.
Just because this man, this Cloud, was occupying so much of his mind, did not mean there was no longer space for Genesis there, too. There would always be space within him for his brother, a space he’d lovingly carved out just for him.
Sephiroth still attempted to spend time with Genesis, of course. As much as he relished in Genesis’ fire, he did not want his brother to be truly upset with him.
Some days, Genesis gave him the cold shoulder, ignoring him completely. Others, he looked upon Sephiroth with such burning rage that he knew better than to attempt conversation. Most confusing were the times in which Genesis acted as if nothing had happened at all, treating Sephiroth the same way he always had.
It was difficult trying to spend time with Genesis when he was behaving so unpredictably. So instead, in the moments in between, during some of the time he would have filled with his brother’s presence, Sephiroth turned elsewhere.
Perhaps he should spend time with Cloud instead? Sephiroth found that he wanted to know him, and he could not help his curiosity.
It wasn’t difficult to observe the guard’s daily drills without being seen. The palace guard drilled in groups so that there would always be a rotating shift of men on duty. Cloud’s cohort was the first of the day, so early that whenever Sephiroth went to watch him, he was able to see the sun rise over the group of men, glinting off of their shining armor.
Cloud’s, he found, shone the brightest. Was it because Sephiroth’s attention was naturally drawn to him? Or was it that Cloud cared more deeply than his peers, spent the long hours Sephiroth knew it took to clean and maintain armor to that level of perfection?
When Cloud stood guard, no matter what it was that he was guarding, he showed a level of vigilance that the others did not. It was clear that he took his duties seriously, even trivial as they were.
He carried a sword that was too big for him with ease, and though he lacked finesse, he displayed a level of skill that spoke of long hours training, of being told he was not capable so often that he had succeeded through spite and sheer determination.
The more that Sephiroth observed Cloud, the more he realized that skill like his was wasted here. He should not languish away in the role of a simple palace guard.
His loyalty, too, was precious. It was a rare thing, for Sephiroth, and it made him feel strangely possessive over this man who dared to show open loyalty to both of the kingdom’s princes.
Though Sephiroth did not need protecting, he did not want to be surrounded by men that wished him dead, or worse, were completely indifferent. Cloud was special. He needed to be kept close, at Sephiroth’s side. Where he belonged.
Finally, when Sephiroth could tolerate the emotions writhing around within him no longer, he summoned Cloud to his study.
It was a room that was mostly for appearances, one he spent hardly any time in. There wasn’t anything he oversaw, as he hadn’t been given any actual power in the king’s court. That was fine with him. Sephiroth was detached from court politics and power struggles; that was Genesis’ game to play. Sephiroth was made for fighting and violence, not humans’ mind games, and all he wanted was to stay by Genesis’ side and do whatever it was that his brother wanted. That and the man he’d called for.
When the heavy wood doors burst open, he was surprised that Cloud, who seemed so deferential to his superiors, would make an entrance like that.
It was not Cloud who entered the room, but his brother. And for Genesis, this was not surprising behavior at all.
While he hadn’t planned for this, Sephiroth didn’t mind Genesis’ presence. With both Cloud and Genesis here at the same time, things could be rectified, and perhaps Genesis would finally stop being upset with him. Sephiroth knew that Genesis would like Cloud, would see his potential just as Sephiroth had—what he could be, what he was now. He knew that Genesis would be drawn to Cloud’s unwavering loyalty the same way that he was.
Though Cloud was to be Sephiroth’s personal guard, they could still share him.
Genesis opened his mouth, likely ready to start up on a rant about their father or one of his brainless advisors, but before he could say a word, there was a knock at the door.
Sephiroth ignored the half-angry, half-confused look on Genesis’ face, clearly upset that someone had dared to interrupt their time together. Sephiroth would normally feel similarly, but this was a welcome interruption.
“Come in,” he called out, turning his gaze away from Genesis and toward the opening door.
This was what he’d expected of Cloud. Respectful, calm, but still entering the room with his head held high.
Though he did look rather confused, and did a visible double take when he saw that Genesis was here as well.
Sephiroth did not have to look at him to feel the way that Genesis was glaring at Cloud. Cloud seemed nervous, but instead of shrinking beneath the force of Genesis’ ire, he rose into it, proving to Sephiroth that Cloud was worthy of his brother.
Cloud squared his shoulders and stood at attention, leveling them both with a serious look. There was a pause, a long moment in which none of them said anything. Sephiroth felt Genesis fidget beside him, clearly restless, and wondered if he was supposed to feel awkward, though he did not.
Eventually, Cloud addressed them both, “Am I in trouble, your highnesses?”
Genesis was in front of Sephiroth and to his right, and Sephiroth could see him opening his mouth. He rushed to speak before his brother could, unsure of what exactly it was that he would say and not wanting to find out (or risk scaring off Cloud forever).
“Not at all. The opposite. You were willing to take the life of another, to risk your own, to protect me when no one else would stand by my side.”
Cloud looked shocked. His mouth was open slightly, his lips shiny and wet from the way he’d nervously licked them just a moment before.
Sephiroth was not one for many words or grand speeches; he left that to Genesis, and was grateful that he’d never actually had to lead an army, having torn through their enemies on his own during the few conquests their kingdom had seen. But what Cloud had done was worth his effort to acknowledge.
“From now on, you will serve as my personal guard. You will remain by my side at all times, so that I will never have to question the loyalty of those around me again.”
Sephiroth was expecting anger from Genesis, but instead saw panic. Cloud had a similar look on his face.
“Absolutely not!” Genesis shouted, surprising all three of them. He slammed his hands down on the polished wood of Sephiroth’s desk, sparks flying from the impact.
He must have truly been affected if his control was slipping.
“He is not worthy of protecting you. Certainly not as he is. He needs more training, needs to be able to protect you even without that clumsy sword of his.”
Sephiroth could acknowledge that Cloud needed some polishing around his rougher edges. He had been planning to help with that himself.
“What do you suggest then, Genesis?” He asked, tilting his head toward his brother in acknowledgement. For now, he ignored Cloud, though the look of utter bewilderment on his face was so charming that it was very difficult to look away from him.
It was obvious to Sephiroth that Genesis was still panicked. He was impulsive, yes, but it wasn’t often that he said things without thinking them through. Sephiroth tried to rein in his delight, wanting to see just what else Genesis might do.
“I don’t trust anyone else to do it right, so I suppose I will have to train him.”
As soon as he said the words, it was clear that Genesis wished he could take them back. It was rare to see him fumble, and Sephiroth was captivated. He enjoyed seeing his brother worked up like this, and it was such a relief to finally be past his anger.
Sephiroth saw no harm in the idea. Genesis would be able to work through his misplaced aggression towards Cloud, would see what Sephiroth saw in him. Selfishly, he wanted to see what would happen if he allowed this.
“Very well,” he agreed, keeping his voice deliberately neutral despite how manic he felt.
He finally looked back to Cloud, who looked just as panicked as Genesis, though surely for different reasons. He looked like he wanted to say something, to protest being talked over and about, but as a guard, he was surely used to not having a say in his life. If Sephiroth—his prince—wanted him by his side, then so be it. And if Genesis—his prince as well—protested, then what right did Cloud have to argue?
Sephiroth admired his restraint, but he longed to see what it would look like once Cloud was unraveled so much that he no longer held back, even in their presence.
When Cloud tried to sleep that night, all he could think about was the disaster that had happened earlier that day.
He didn’t think he’d ever be in such close quarters to Prince Sephiroth again after the attack, let alone both of the princes. He hadn’t been sure what to expect when he’d been pulled aside by a messenger and told that the prince wanted to see him, but nothing could’ve prepared him for the pure rage that’d been directed towards him by Prince Genesis (who Cloud hadn’t expected to be there at all).
Cloud didn’t understand what he could’ve possibly done to deserve that kind of reaction. They’d never even met.
He didn’t know what to make of Prince Sephiroth, either. He’d just sat there the whole time looking amused by it all, like Genesis and Cloud with their anger and confusion were there to entertain him.
And then he’d made all of Cloud’s dreams come true, and it felt like something in him broke. He’d thought it was a cruel joke at first, but Prince Sephiroth wasn’t known for his sense of humor.
Since Cloud had first learned about the royal family as a child, had seen their portraits hung up in the mayor’s house back in Nibelheim, he'd always imagined working alongside Prince Sephiroth (both of the princes, if he could be greedy), protecting him, even though the idea was laughable.
He’d come so far since then, but he’d still never thought that it could actually happen. It was a fantasy, one that got more and more pathetic the older he got.
Cloud wasn’t a remarkable person, and he never thought he would be considered for this kind of thing—let alone hand-picked by the prince himself. He must’ve made a pretty good first impression.
Prince Sephiroth was strange, without a doubt, but the way that Prince Genesis had looked at him was even stranger. Once he’d stopped being angry, he just looked desperate, staring at Cloud like he had all the answers. Cloud didn’t even know what the questions were.
It was late, and he really needed to rest, but he still couldn’t sleep. There was too much on his mind. He wiggled around in bed, tossing and turning and throwing off his blankets, but he couldn’t get comfortable. It wasn’t about his bed, or his sheets, or even his pillows.
He was nervous and honestly a little afraid of being trained by Prince Genesis. He didn’t know what to expect, if it would be real training or just a way for Genesis to get him alone so he could unleash all of that anger on him.
Somehow, Cloud had already won over one of the princes. He’d just have to do his best with the other.
Cloud was in a wing of the palace he’d never seen before, private and tucked away from the more public spaces he was familiar with. He wondered if he was in the right place, even though this was exactly where he was told to go.
The room he found himself in wasn’t like any training room he’d seen before—this place clearly wasn’t meant for the rank and file. It was too out of the way, too small, too intimate.
Instead of an open courtyard filled with dirt and dust and chipped training swords, this room was almost too nice to fight in. If it weren’t for the racks of gleaming weapons and the faint pulsing of magic covering the walls (to keep spells contained, Cloud realized), he would’ve thought he was in some sort of dining room that was missing all of its furniture.
Was this Prince Genesis’ private training room?
“You’re late!” Came the prince’s voice, following the bang of the door slamming open. Cloud wondered if he always did that.
He wasn’t late. He was five minutes early, which would mean that Genesis was late, but Cloud knew better than to argue.
Didn’t mean he was going to apologize.
He crossed his arms and raised a brow at the prince, who frowned at Cloud and pushed past him, heading for the racks on the far wall.
Even though he’d been up all night thinking, Cloud still didn’t know what to expect. He should probably be kissing Prince Genesis’ ass, especially given the way he’d acted around Cloud yesterday, but it was hard to swallow his pride enough to do it.
“Catch!” And Cloud only barely did, saved by his quick reflexes.
He was the one frowning now. The prince had thrown that right at his head. If Cloud hadn’t caught it…
It was a materia. It was the first time he’d ever touched one, and he didn’t know what to make of it. It was warm in his hand, pulsing like a little heartbeat, and he almost forgot that he was trapped in this room with Prince Genesis.
“Do you have any experience with materia, Strife?” The prince asked, striding back over to him. His heeled boots clicked against the floor as his red robes billowed out behind him. He was so much more dramatic than Cloud had ever imagined him, but it suited him.
Cloud looked back down at the orb in his hand. It was green, and he could see his reflection in it, but there was something cloudy swirling around in it too. Maybe that was the magic? He’d been too poor growing up to get near materia, and they weren't standard issue for guards. They were allowed to carry their own personal materia, but Cloud didn’t know anyone who had any. He didn’t say any of that, though. He didn’t think the prince would care.
“No.”
Genesis kept getting closer and closer, until eventually Cloud would have to either step back or have the prince in his personal space.
Luckily, Genesis stopped about a foot away. It was obvious now that he was taller than Cloud. He didn’t tower over him the way Prince Sephiroth did, but with the heels, he was at least half a foot taller than Cloud. It seemed like he liked it, since he was literally looking down his nose at Cloud, like he was beneath him.
Cloud was beneath him, of course. In every single sense. Didn’t mean he needed the reminder.
It pissed him off, but Cloud didn’t rise to the bait. He didn’t know what Genesis’ problem was with him, but he was going to do his best to impress him anyway.
As their training session started, Cloud quickly realized that he was not going to impress the prince. He didn’t know the first thing about magic, and it showed. Genesis was a pretty shitty teacher, but Cloud couldn’t tell if it was because he hated him or whatever, or if he was actually bad at it.
After about an hour of Cloud holding the materia and concentrating really hard without anything happening, Genesis got so frustrated that he shoved his way into Cloud’s space, coming to stand behind him. Cloud held his arm out when he was told, and then Genesis snatched the materia out of his hand.
He could feel every breath Genesis took, could feel a few strands of his hair tickling the back of his neck. It took everything in him not to squirm.
The hand on his own traced a path along Cloud’s outstretched arm, and Genesis’ touch felt like fire. Was that his magic?
“Every living being carries magic in its veins. Some of us are naturally more attuned than others, and therefore have larger mana pools. Stamina and mana use can be improved upon, but if one has very little magic to begin with, that is immutable.”
Cloud shuddered when Genesis got even closer, almost whispering in his ear, “I wonder if you will disappoint me? My brother will have little use of a guard who is incapable of using magic.” His voice was carefully neutral—though Cloud could hear his cruel amusement under it—as he slowly dragged his fingers down Cloud’s arm.
Then his hand was on Cloud’s shoulder, running along his collarbone. This time, Cloud couldn’t help the way he shuddered.
“Perhaps that is why you are so inept with even such a simple spell. Perhaps you have no mana to speak of.”
Cloud rolled his eyes and tried to ignore Genesis, but it was impossible. He was so hot, pressed up against Cloud’s back, his fingers blazing against him even through the layers of his armor.
This felt intimate, and Cloud didn’t think learning magic was supposed to be like this. He didn’t know if Genesis was doing it on purpose—if he was trying to make him uncomfortable—or if he had no idea how he was affecting Cloud. Somehow, he didn’t think Genesis was the type to not know exactly what he was doing to someone.
Genesis’ fingertips reached Cloud’s heart, and he sucked in a gasp.
“Oh.”
It felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest, like it was on fucking fire, and Cloud didn’t know what to do. Was Genesis doing something to him? Feeling out his body’s mana or whatever so he could force magic through him?
Genesis suddenly yanked himself away, and wouldn’t look at Cloud when he turned around to face him. He was flushed and panting. Cloud probably looked just as bad.
The prince dragged a hand down his face, the same one he’d touched Cloud with. His voice shook as he spoke, “You, Cloud Strife, have great potential. There is immense magic inside of you, practically ready to burst.”
And then Genesis finally looked at him, a manic grin on his face. “Now we only have to let it out.”
For the first time since Cloud had met him, Genesis was looking at him with something like excitement. Cloud didn’t know what to do with it, was a little nervous about the prince’s intensity, but it was better than him being angry.
Yeah, he could probably work with this.
Every morning Cloud woke up before the rest of his squadron so he could train with Prince Genesis. He was still expected to do the rest of his duties after, of course, even though Genesis usually ran him ragged.
Cloud got his ass beat by Genesis just about every day, but sometimes he never showed up at all. He was the prince, so of course he was busy. Genesis never apologized when it happened, and Cloud never got upset. He was surprised Genesis could spare time for him at all, but clearly he made it work.
As the days turned into weeks, it felt like Genesis was starting to come around. Slowly. Cloud even started to push back at the prince, to meet his barbs with his own. He found that under all the drama and the anger, Genesis was shockingly pleasant to be around. Cloud started to look forward to their training sessions instead of dreading them.
The first time Cloud made Genesis laugh, he almost forgot his own name. The prince had a kinda ugly laugh, but it sounded so genuine that it was charming. It was adorable, really. That probably wasn’t how most people would describe the prince, but Cloud couldn’t help it.
Genesis had looked horrified when he finally realized he was laughing, but Cloud just went back to casting, acting like it never even happened. He pretended not to see the relief on Genesis’ face. Cloud would keep his secret.
Sometimes on his way to or from his training sessions with Genesis, Cloud would catch a glimpse of Prince Sephiroth.
Other times, Cloud felt Sephiroth instead of seeing him, felt the way he was staring, always when there was no one else around. It was kind of creepy, but Cloud couldn’t deny the thrill he felt every time it happened.
Sephiroth always stared at him so intensely.
It happened so many times that Cloud started to worry Sephiroth was upset at him now. Cloud would spot Sephiroth in places that seemed innocuous enough, but he’d disappear before Cloud could ever get close, never approaching or talking to him.
Genesis had started letting little bits and stories slip during their training sessions without even realizing. From what he told Cloud, it seemed like the two brothers were very close. They were pretty possessive of each other. Maybe that was the problem. Was Cloud taking up too much of Genesis’ time?
During one of their usual training sessions, Cloud tried bringing it up to Genesis. He exploded.
Cloud hadn’t seen him that angry since the very beginning. Genesis then took his emotions out on Cloud, drilling him to the point of exhaustion. He didn’t ask about it again.
A couple of months had gone by since Cloud had started training with Genesis. As the days went on, he saw more and more of Sephiroth, more coincidental meetings that didn’t feel like a coincidence at all.
Sephiroth was intimidating. He had a presence to him that made Cloud's skin crawl. But the more Cloud saw of him, the less strange he felt. Sephiroth reminded him more of a chocobo chick than a prince, sometimes. Staring at Cloud, then hesitantly approaching, but always there. It was oddly endearing, creepy as it was.
Despite his intimidating presence, Sephiroth was always kind to Cloud. Slowly, Cloud got used to him, even began enjoying it when Sephiroth was around.
Sometimes they even talked. Sephiroth would ask how his training was going (as if he didn’t know—there was no way Genesis wasn’t keeping him informed), and Cloud would ask how he was doing. Sephiroth usually gave Cloud that weird smile, the one he’d given him when Cloud had saved his life months ago now. He still didn’t know what it meant, but he knew he liked it more than he should.
Sephiroth eventually started openly sitting in on Cloud’s sessions with Genesis instead of trailing after him once they were finished. Genesis clearly didn’t like it, but he never commented on Sephiroth’s presence in the corner of the room, so neither did Cloud. If Genesis’ fire spells burned hotter those days, none of them mentioned it.
Cloud didn’t know what to make of the strange tension between them. When Genesis spoke of Sephiroth, he seemed so fond. But whenever Sephiroth was nearby, he looked anything but.
It all came to a head one day when Cloud was training by himself near the chocobo stables. He was surprised when Sephiroth joined him, but didn’t mind having the company.
Cloud started talking to Sephiroth. He was stilted and awkward, but so was Sephiroth. It was different from talking with Genesis, from their now-playful banter, but it was nice in its own way.
“Genesis has taken quite a liking to you,” Sephiroth eventually said, and Cloud almost stopped what he was doing. That was pretty blunt. Was he jealous? Cloud couldn’t tell.
“I like him too. He’s a good teacher, surprisingly. I think he hated me at first,” he paused, suddenly feeling vulnerable about admitting this, “I don’t really get it, but I’m glad it’s not like that anymore.” Cloud couldn’t look at Sephiroth. He tried to ignore how hot his face felt. He liked Genesis alright.
“Perhaps you could serve him as well, once he deems you ready,” Sephiroth mused.
Cloud did have to stop that time. He didn’t want to end up accidentally lobbing off his own foot because he wasn’t paying attention. It wasn’t what Sephiroth said, but how he said it.
Serve Genesis? Serve Sephiroth, too? Cloud knew it wasn’t supposed to sound so filthy, but he couldn’t help the way these two affected him. The worst part was that they were clueless, completely unaware of what they did to Cloud when they sat there looking so pretty, saying the things they did.
Cloud went back to swinging his sword, and after a few more minutes that were thankfully spent in silence, he was surprised again when he saw Genesis approaching.
Maybe approaching wasn’t the right word. He was stomping, clearly angry. His eyes were blazing, and luckily, all of it was directed at Sephiroth and not him.
Suddenly, Cloud felt like he was in the middle of something, though he didn’t know what. He’d tried asking about it, then ignoring it, but he was clearly coming between them somehow, and he didn’t want to strain their relationship.
He hated seeing Genesis angry, especially since they’d come so far. Cloud had grown fond of him in the months they’d spent training together, and he didn’t want to be anywhere near the receiving end of Genesis’ wrath, especially not when he knew how warm his kindness could be.
After all the time he’d spent with Genesis, he’d come to realize that the anger was a part of who he was. He ran hotter than most (hence his thing for fire, or maybe it was the other way around). Cloud had learned how to deal with it, how to diffuse Genesis’ bad moods.
But this time he hesitated. Should he try to diffuse whatever this was? Sephiroth had a strange look on his face that Cloud couldn’t name, and he couldn’t tell if he needed rescuing or not. Maybe it would be best to let Genesis burn himself out.
“Sephiroth!” Genesis yelled, and his eyes flashed over to Cloud before he focused back on his brother.
Yep. Cloud needed to get out of here.
He hurriedly sheathed his sword and started walking away as fast as he could manage without running, not missing the way both of their gazes burned into him. Before he could regret leaving, he heard Genesis tearing into Sephiroth, easily redirected by the closer target.
Cloud chalked the whole thing up to some sort of spat, but he really didn’t know what to make of it. He knew better than to ask either of them what that had been about, but it seemed intense in a way that Cloud hadn’t seen before.
Other than the incident by the stables, things were going well for Cloud. He had no idea how much longer his training with Genesis was supposed to last. He was getting really good at magic, something he’d never thought he was capable of. Genesis even called him an “accomplished caster” once, praise that Cloud would hang on to forever.
Truthfully, Cloud didn’t want their time together to end, and he suspected Genesis felt the same way.
He was looking forward to serving Sephiroth with all of his heart. Even now, he still didn’t believe this was real sometimes. Being chosen as Sephiroth’s guard was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and he was serious about protecting him.
But it was hard to be as happy about it as he should be. He knew that as soon as Genesis deemed him ready to guard Sephiroth, he wouldn’t see Genesis anymore, at least not as often as he did now.
He knew the princes spent a lot of time together without him, so maybe it would be okay. It wouldn’t be the same, but if Cloud was guarding Sephiroth, then he’d also get to be around Genesis sometimes.
All he could think about was that day by the stables, worried that he’d never be able to be in the same place as both of them again without something going wrong.
He was proven right just a few days later.
Sephiroth’s presence had become routine during their training sessions, even though Cloud could tell Genesis didn’t like it.
He and Genesis were sparring. No weapons, just hand to hand to hand mixed with magic.
“May I cut in?” It was the first thing Sephiroth had said the whole time, and Cloud had barely even registered his words before Sephiroth was in front of him instead of Genesis.
Just like everything else, Sephiroth was intense as they fought.
Cloud only barely spared a glance at Genesis, who had been practically shoved away by his brother. He didn’t look happy, but he stood aside and let it happen.
Cloud was too overwhelmed by Sephiroth to think about it anymore.
Sephiroth was overbearing. He was everywhere at once. Cloud was panting and sweat was dripping down his brow and he felt so damn exhilarated. Where Genesis had been teaching him, Sephiroth was testing him, seeing for himself just how skilled Cloud was.
It felt like his blood was on fire.
Cloud was beaten soundly. It felt like it was over as soon as it started, but he was a little surprised by how long he’d actually lasted. Prince Sephiroth had quite the negative reputation, but nobody could refute how skilled of a fighter he was.
If it were anyone else, Cloud would be embarrassed. But since this was Sephiroth, who was well known for his skills in combat, Cloud was just happy he’d lasted as long as he did.
It wasn’t until he caught his breath that he noticed the look on Genesis’ face. His eyes were blazing hotter than Cloud had ever seen them.
Cloud was caught in the middle of something here, stuck in this weird tension between them.
When Genesis stormed out, Cloud wasn’t surprised. He didn’t try to follow him, and he didn’t look at Sephiroth. He needed to get away from them, at least for now, before he suffocated on whatever was between those two.
Cloud couldn’t sleep.
It was just like that night all those months ago, when he’d laid awake in bed after being summoned to Sephiroth’s study and gotten himself stuck between whatever the princes were playing at. And here he was, still stuck between them.
It wasn’t exactly the same as then. Cloud definitely wasn’t nervous now.
If it was nerves, he wouldn’t have been hard all damn day, ever since his spar with Sephiroth. He still was, and it wasn’t going to go away on its own.
His quarters were small, but thankfully private. He had a small bed and a single pillow. It was kind of a mess, with a few feathers scattered around on the floor (where had those even come from?), but this was really just a place to sleep.
Cloud had already stripped off his armor, now naked under the bedsheets. He’d been trying to ignore his erection for an hour now, but that clearly wasn’t working.
Fuck it. It sure wasn’t going away on its own, and no matter how wrong it was to be pent up like this because of the princes, there was only one thing he could do about it now.
He grabbed his cock and then he was biting his lip, trying to muffle the sound he made. His hips jerked forward. Maybe he was more pent up than he’d thought.
Still biting his lip, Cloud started stroking himself. It didn’t even matter that it was dry, because he was dripping so much precum that it wasn’t a problem. He smeared it around the head, feeling the way more oozed out, and bit his lip so hard he tasted blood.
This wasn’t enough. He’d been avoiding this for so long, not wanting to get off in case his thoughts strayed to the princes. That was definitely happening now, and there was nothing he could do about it.
Cloud kept jerking himself off, his hips steadily rutting forward, and even though he was leaking precum like a fucking faucet, he wasn’t getting there.
He tossed his head back onto his pillow with a frustrated sigh. He couldn’t stop thinking about Sephiroth, about the way he’d kept pressing and pressing at Cloud, never letting up. He was so intense when he fought, and Cloud couldn’t help but wonder if he was like that with sex, too.
And then there was Genesis with his soft touches and overly intimate teaching moments, his eyes blazing hot but never enough for Cloud to look away.
It was wrong to think about either of them like this, but he needed it. He could think about facing them later—he definitely couldn’t be near them without getting this out of his system first.
His pillow was soft against his face when he groaned into it in frustration and oh. There was an idea.
Cloud grabbed his pillow and kicked off his bedsheets all at once. His hands were shaking as he straddled his pillow, the fabric chafing against him for just a second until he thrusted once, twice, and it was smeared with enough precum to ease the way.
His pillowcase was wet. It was fucking soaked and it was only getting worse, Cloud’s cock gliding against the wet fabric without any resistance.
He grabbed at his headboard, needing to hang on to something. He felt delirious. Why hadn’t he thought of this before?
The pillow was soft and pliable under his cock, and Cloud let himself imagine, just for a second, that it was Sephiroth. But it was longer than a second, because as soon as he started, he couldn't stop.
Was he grinding against Sephiroth’s tits? They were always out, and Cloud couldn’t help but look. He bet they were soft. His hips jerked a little just at the thought.
Or maybe he was fucking his thighs. They were probably soft too, and strong enough to crush his dick between them. Why did that turn him on even more?
Maybe he was inside of Sephiroth. That felt wrong to think about. He wasn’t worthy of that, not with the prince. He almost laughed. Like that was any different from the rest of the nasty things he was imagining?
Cloud clenched his eyes shut, and then he saw Genesis. Cloud was on top of him, grinding their cocks together, watching as fire burned bright in Genesis’ eyes. Genesis would try to flip him over, try to take control, but Cloud wouldn’t let him, not yet.
He wanted to fuck Genesis too, wanted to take and take and–
And then it was Sephiroth again. His hair pooling on the bed beneath them.
Every time Cloud opened his eyes and saw reality—that he was humping his pillow, that it was wet and slick with his precum, covered in a growing stain—he clenched them back shut, only to see Sephiroth or Genesis.
The image got muddied, and he couldn’t tell anymore who he was thinking about, what was happening in his fantasy as it spun further out of control. He couldn’t focus on just one of them, couldn’t decide.
He was panting, and if he wasn’t so far gone, he’d be humiliated. There was something dripping down his chin, sweat or drool probably. He didn’t care. All he cared about was chasing this high, rutting against his princes his pillow until he couldn’t take it anymore, until his whole body shook and his cock twitched all on its own and–
Cloud was coming on his pillow. It felt better than any orgasm he’d ever had, which was honestly kind of pathetic. He kept rutting against it, the skin of his cock slick and wet with his cum, until finally it was too much, and he let go of the headboard, sagging forward.
Fuck.
He hadn’t meant for it to get out of hand like that. He wasn’t supposed to think about the princes like that at all, let alone both of them. The guilt was going to eat him alive.
Tomorrow. He could be guilty tomorrow. For now he needed to get some goddamn sleep, and maybe now that that was out of his system, he could move on from it. He wouldn’t get wound up like this again, wouldn’t fantasize about fucking the princes. He needed to get rid of the weird tension going on, not add to it.
His pillow was a lost cause. Cloud threw it off of his bed with a sigh, not willing to put his head anywhere near it.
He’d figure it out in the morning. For now, he shoved his guilt down. He could deal with it all tomorrow.
Things were a little awkward after Cloud had spent a whole night frantically humping his pillow and pretending it was Genesis and Sephiroth, interchangeably. It felt almost like he’d been possessed, so Cloud treated it that way. That wasn’t him. He couldn’t help it. It was just a moment of weakness.
He could be normal.
He was trying, at least. It was hard when Genesis and Sephiroth were spending more and more time with him, were getting even weirder. There were a lot of casual touches and angry looks exchanged between them all.
The tension was definitely there. Cloud wasn’t sure if it was between him and Sephiroth or him and Genesis or the two princes. Maybe even all three of them.
It hung over them, this unspoken thing that none of them would address, and it was starting to drive him crazy. Luckily, he hadn’t gotten possessed by his dick again, but this had clearly been getting to him for awhile for it to have come to a head like that. And it was only escalating.
Other than all of that, things were great. Or so Cloud told himself. They kind of weren’t at all.
There were rumors lately. People were going missing. Important people. No bodies had been found, but everyone knew a bunch of nobles weren’t being kept alive somewhere. Cloud was on high alert at all times, always looking out for anything suspicious, even when he was just guarding a library or the stables.
It felt like the whole kingdom was on edge, including Genesis. The tension between the three of them even started to fade, forced down by Genesis’ worry. He wasn’t even fighting with Sephiroth anymore, wasn’t angry. He was almost… frantic.
Weirdly, Sephiroth didn’t seem affected at all. That was kind of how he was, though. Not caring or paying attention to anything going on in the palace, just doing whatever he wanted no matter what people thought of him.
Sephiroth only cared about Genesis and… himself, now that Cloud thought about it. It was kind of thrilling to know that he had Prince Sephiroth’s attention. It was easier to focus on that than Genesis’ increasing unease, or worrying about who would go missing next.
Cloud spent more and more time training with the princes, and more time on patrol because of all the people going missing. It left him with barely any time to himself other than when he slept.
Every night when he went back to his quarters, he kept finding feathers on the floor and in his bed. They came back no matter how many times he cleaned them up. He couldn’t figure out where they were coming from, but he was too tired to do much about it other than shove them into a corner before he passed out for the night.
With everything that was happening, with how tense the whole palace was, when Cloud suddenly started feeling like he was being watched, he couldn't shake it.
He didn’t tell Sephiroth or Genesis. He didn’t want to trouble them with this when they had bigger things to worry about, like running the kingdom with half the court gone. Or, in Sephiroth’s case, sitting and watching as his brother scrambled to run things.
Cloud was nobody important. Why would anyone be watching him?
But maybe it wasn’t about him at all, and it was actually the princes who were being targeted. He spent so much time around them, and they were even more important than a bunch of nobles in the king’s court.
Surely he was just being paranoid. But if he wasn’t, he’d be prepared. He’d saved Sephiroth once already, and he’d do it again in a heartbeat. He’d do it for Genesis too.
Cloud would protect them. He’d trained long enough—he was ready for it. His life was theirs now, he was their guard. He’d gladly lay himself down at their feet if that was what he had to do.
Cloud hadn’t seen or heard from Genesis or Sephiroth in days. He was starting to get worried. He knew they (or at least Genesis) were busy, even more than usual now that a few bodies had actually been found. The details hadn’t been released to the public, but Cloud had heard there wasn’t much left of them.
Without the princes, his life was pretty boring. He still did his duties diligently, guarding all sorts of meaningless places and people around the palace.
He was currently posted near the throne room, which was definitely more important than usual. It looked like it was going to be yet another long, boring night, but at least he could look forward to going home and fucking his pillow while fantasizing about the princes like a normal person.
He’d been doing that more often. Without the princes around, he didn’t have to feel guilty trying to look them in the eye the morning after, and what else was he supposed to do when he missed them more than he’d ever admit?
Time dragged on, and he watched as the other guards started to doze. One of them snuck off to go fuck a maid in some barely-hidden corner. By the time midnight rolled around, there were barely any other guards in the hallway that led to the throne room.
And then
he heard
a scream.
It was bloodcurdling. It was the animalistic, desperate scream of a dying man, of someone already beyond saving.
Cloud was running toward the sound before he could think, rage pushing him forward when the few remaining guards brushed past him, running away from their duties. It was like that day with Sephiroth all over again, but so much worse.
His heart felt like it was being squeezed tight in his chest, like a wild animal in the jaws of a snake. Was Genesis in there? Sephiroth? He didn’t think it was either of them screaming, it couldn’t be. That wasn’t enough to reassure him.
Even if it wasn’t them, it was his duty to protect whoever was in there, and oh gods, he could hear bones snapping and popping now, the screams turning wet and gurgling.
He was at the throne room now, shoving open the heavy doors with his whole body, but he already knew it was too late. Whoever was here, whatever was happening, Cloud couldn’t do anything.
There was a monster in the throne room. A monster that looked like a person. Like Sephiroth.
Cloud stopped in his tracks, the doors slamming shut behind him. His eyes darted around, trying to take in everything, trying to figure out what he’d walked in on.
Genesis was here. He was in the far end of the room, leaning against the throne for dear life. If it wasn’t there to hold him up, Cloud suspected he’d be on the ground—it looked like his knees were going to give out, or maybe they already had. His robes were rumpled and his perfectly styled hair was mussed and his eyes were wide and dazed.
Between Genesis and Cloud was the monster. At its feet lay a mess of flesh and blood and fragments of bone, a crown sitting atop the little pile almost like a joke. The king.
Could Cloud get to Genesis before this thing did? Should he try? Maybe he didn’t need to. He had the fire materia Genesis had given him, after all.
He didn’t know where Sephiroth was, but he could see Genesis. He was right there, and Cloud had to get to him, had to keep him safe. His blood was roaring in his ears, his vision blurry at the edges.
Cloud took a step closer, and the thing growled. It had been facing away from him, and all he’d seen was long silver hair and bloodstained feet and feathers.
The monster turned to face him, and Cloud knew exactly where Sephiroth was. It was no coincidence that it looked like him. This was Sepiroth, he knew it in his soul.
Desperate, Cloud tried to catch Genesis’ gaze. Did he know about this? But Genesis was still out of it, and he wasn’t responding to Cloud’s frantic attempts at getting his attention.
Instead, Cloud had Sephiroth’s attention, and he didn’t know what to do with it.
He tried desperately to catalog everything about this Sephiroth, this creature that stood before him. If he wanted a fight—which it seemed like he did, since Sephiroth was prowling toward him with intent, all of his limbs bloody and his slit-pupiled eyes crazed with bloodlust—Cloud needed to know what he was dealing with.
Sephiroth had gotten bigger. And paler. He was almost blue, he was so pale. He looked like a corpse, like the splatter on the floor would’ve been if it hadn’t been mostly eaten. There was no mistaking the blood around Sephiroth’s mouth, coating his too sharp teeth, licked away before Cloud’s eyes by a tongue that was too long for his mouth and more dextrous than a tongue should ever be.
His ears were long and pointed, like the stories of elves and fae his mother had told him as a child. But Cloud knew that this was something much darker than Nibel fairy tales.
Stripes of dark red were streaked across Sephiroth’s face in symmetrical pairs, two above his brows and one under his eyes. At least those were the same.
The look in Sephiroth’s eyes was just like when they’d sparred, lit up with something like glee, though they looked distinctly more feral. Like any restraint Sephiroth had once had was gone.
Sephiroth kept coming closer, his stride long but unhurried. If Cloud didn’t move, didn’t do something, Sephiroth would be on him in seconds. He should draw his sword, use his materia, anything. But all Cloud could do was stare dumbly at what Sephiroth had become, horrified and in awe.
It looked like Sephiroth’s throat had been flayed open. But there was no blood, no exposed tissue. Sephiroth’s flesh there was protected by some sort of thin, transparent layer instead of skin.
There were strips on Sephiroth’s biceps with that same exposed pattern, and down his sides too. There, over his hips and thighs, it looked almost like he’d been sliced open, and something was coming out—tentacles, they were fucking tentacles—but still, they clearly weren’t wounds.
This was just Sephiroth’s body, made of flesh just as much as skin and bone.
Sephiroth’s waist was narrower than it should be, like someone had caved in his ribcage and pulled out his innards. His right side narrowed even further inward, like a chunk of him had been carved off. There was a weird pattern there made of scar tissue, branching out like a star. That mark felt oddly familiar to Cloud, and he couldn’t understand why.
Then there were the feathers, rustling with every step Sephiroth took. How could Cloud miss the giant fucking wing on Sephiroth’s right side, the feathers that trailed over the same shoulder, almost mimicking a pauldron? There were even more of them at his waist, draped over him like half of a skirt.
The wing was black and shiny and reflected the low candlelight like an opal. The feathers on Sephiroth’s body went from dark to light, from that deep black all the way to a pinkish color.
Sephiroth’s hands and feet were caked in blood that was now flaking off as he moved. Even without the blood, they were darker than the rest of him, the grayish-purple fading away near his elbows and knees. Sephiroth was a creature of flesh and colors and gradients, and Cloud couldn’t wrap his brain around all that he was seeing.
He dragged his eyes away from Sephiroth’s still moving legs, uncontrollably drawn between them. No. Cloud jerked his gaze up and away, refusing to look there, and immediately did a double take.
Oh. Sephiroth had tits. Those weren’t there before. Sephiroth’s chest was big, but not like that. Those were breasts. It was the most natural change, all things considered, but it shocked Cloud more than the feathers and flesh and tentacles did.
Sephiroth saw where he was looking and smirked, and Cloud finally snapped out of whatever trance he was in.
He managed to get his sword free of its sheath, the sound of the blade cutting through the air startling him.
And then Sephiroth was on him, and before Cloud could swing at him properly, he swatted the sword away like a cat smacking a toy.
It flew out of Cloud’s hands and clattered to the floor, but he barely registered the sound. He’d never been disarmed so easily.
Drawing his sword on Sephiroth might’ve made whatever was about to happen to him worse, but Sephiroth didn’t look mad at all. He looked excited, like they were playing, and Cloud wondered if that was worse than making him angry.
One more giant step forward, and then Sephiroth was right there, in his face, and Cloud couldn’t do anything when he was lifted up off the ground and tossed over Sephiroth’s shoulder like he weighed nothing. It was stupidly sexy, and Cloud felt his dick twitch in his pants, and he was going to die.
Sephiroth started walking with Cloud in tow, like he was carrying a sack of flour. Cloud was still so stunned that he didn’t think to squirm, not until the tentacles coming out of Sephiroth’s hips started squirming against him, wriggling under his armor and his boots and his pants.
He heard the sounds of popping seams and tearing fabric and metal clanging to the floor, and suddenly he felt air and something wet against his now bare skin. From the waist down, everything Cloud wore had been torn to shreds, ripped apart like it was made of paper.
Even though Cloud wasn’t moving, wasn’t trying to get away like he should’ve been if he was sane, Sephiroth grabbed his ass with one of his broad hands, holding him in place. His fingers were tipped with claws.
The only other thing in the room was the throne, so that must’ve been where Sephiroth was heading. Genesis. Cloud had almost forgotten about him, since he’d been quiet the whole time.
As Sephiroth got closer to the throne, Cloud managed to catch a glimpse of Genesis. He still looked shell-shocked, was still clutching at the throne, but it seemed like he was starting to come out of it. His eyes weren’t glassy anymore, and they burned in the brief second that Cloud saw them.
“Sephiroth, what the fuck do you think you’re doing? You’re involving him in this?” Cloud heard Genesis say, his voice more shrill than he’d ever heard it.
Hearing that kind of stung, which was weird. Did Genesis not want him involved in whatever this was? Did Cloud even want to be?
Sephiroth replied, his chest rumbling beneath Cloud, “He involved himself when he saw what I am.” His voice sounded different, deeper and darker. It resonated through him, almost like there was more than one person talking at once. It sent shivers down Cloud’s spine.
It was the first thing Cloud had heard him say since he’d walked into the throne room. He wanted to hear more.
“Sephiroth–” Cloud heard Genesis start, clearly pissed, but he was cut off just as quickly as he’d started. Cloud felt the way Sephiroth lunged forward, then how his momentum instantly stopped. Genesis must’ve dodged out of the way.
Cloud couldn’t exactly see what was happening since he was stuck staring down at Sephiroth’s ass. While that was distracting enough on its own, his flesh was red and exposed all the way down his spine, and though it looked almost grotesque, it felt strangely pleasant against Cloud’s face. Warm, soft, pulsing.
“Unhand him,” Genesis said, and that was the most serious Cloud had ever heard him. He sounded almost protective, and it made Cloud’s head feel fuzzy.
“Never,” Sephiroth growled. Literally. It shook through Cloud, and his cock twitched weakly where it was smushed up against Sephiroth’s chest. He hoped he didn’t notice.
There was a gasp and more movement—Sephiroth must’ve grabbed Genesis with his free hand. Cloud could feel the heat of Genesis’ fire spell, could hear it sizzling against Sephiroth’s skin. It didn’t seem to phase him at all.
“I am done waiting,” Sephiroth said.
Genesis was close now, enough for Cloud to feel his body heat now that Sephiroth had gotten ahold of both of them. There was so much venom in Genesis’ voice when he spat, “Is that why you killed father? Fool! How long have I told you to let me take care of him, to let me do this the right way?”
“You took too long.”
Stuck slung over Sephiroth’s shoulder, barely listening to them now, Cloud was putting the pieces together.
Sephiroth had been the one killing all of those people, but Cloud didn’t have enough blood in his brain to put too much thought into why he would do that, what Genesis meant. Cloud wondered if all those other people had felt as scared as he did now. He was sure none of them felt as horny as he did. Something was wrong with him and his stupid dick.
Cloud caught a flutter of movement as Sephiroth’s wing flexed near his face. Oh. The feathers in his room had definitely been Sephiroth’s. How long had all of this been going on? What was it that Sephiroth was planning, and how was he involved?
He must’ve tuned out the rest of their argument, because the next thing Cloud heard was fabric tearing, and then Sephiroth lurched under him again as he shoved Genesis forward.
Cloud was lifted surprisingly gently off of Sephiroth’s shoulder and placed down into Genesis’ lap. Genesis very naked lap.
Genesis was refusing to look Cloud in the eye, and he sounded small, like a little kid giving a halfhearted protest, “You can’t bring him into this. You can’t make him.”
In response, Sephiroth settled a hand on the small of Cloud’s back, forcing him to arch further into Genesis’ lap, his hard cock jutting forward. It felt like Sephiroth was presenting him to his brother, and Cloud felt his whole face flush. He was so ashamed. His cock was fucking dripping, getting all over Genesis’ stomach.
It was all very pointed, and though neither of them had actually asked Cloud what his opinion on all of this was (now that he thought about it, he hadn’t even said a word to either of them), Sephiroth was making it very clear that Cloud didn’t have a problem with what was happening.
“I will have you both,” Sephiroth said, his weird voice shaking through Cloud as he pressed up behind him, holding Cloud’s hips steady, his hands engulfing him. He was so tall, so fucking big, bigger than usual.
There was no arguing with that.
Cloud looked down at Genesis, who was finally looking him in the eye. He looked mad and intrigued all at once, like he wanted to see what Cloud would do.
Cloud had spent more hours fantasizing about this man naked than he would ever admit, and it still didn’t compare to the real thing. Genesis’ skin was lightly tanned and soft against Cloud’s own, the exact opposite of Sephiroth’s deathly paleness. Genesis had more muscle than Cloud would’ve assumed by looking at him, but there was a reason he was known for being a swordsman as well as a mage, even if Cloud had only ever fought him with magic.
Genesis’ cock might’ve been the prettiest that Cloud had ever seen. It was flushed at the head, still growing to full hardness beneath him. He couldn’t look away.
Then Sephiroth grabbed Cloud by the back of his skull, his claws digging into his scalp but not enough to hurt, and pushed him toward Genesis, awkwardly pressing their faces together like they were dolls he was playing with.
“Kiss.” As if it wasn’t obvious enough what he wanted them to do.
Cloud had wanted this for so long. He wouldn’t deny Sephiroth now.
It was messy at first. Clumsy. Genesis was still shocked and had gone stiff, and Cloud had to coax his mouth open. His eyelashes were so pretty, fluttering against his face when he finally closed his eyes and moaned into it.
Cloud drank up the noises Genesis made, licked at his teeth and bit at his lips, tasting him.
While they kissed, the tentacles wrapped around Cloud’s torso, tearing off the rest of his clothes and armor until he was as naked as Genesis, their bare skin pressed together. He didn’t even care anymore.
Only when Genesis finally gave in and sunk into the kiss, licking into Cloud’s mouth with a moan, did Sephiroth seem satisfied. He let them linger a little longer, his hand tensing against Cloud’s skull when he moaned as Genesis sucked on his tongue.
Then Sephiroth picked Cloud up again and turned him around to face him. He set Cloud back on Genesis’ lap, back pressed against his front.
That did something to Cloud, made his stomach flip. There was something about how big Sephiroth was, even more than usual, about how he was practically manhandling Cloud.
Cloud was facing Sephiroth now, was eye level with his hips. He was looking between Sephiroth’s legs for the first time and oh gods. Cloud didn’t know how to describe what was there.
He wasn’t sure what he’d imagined, what he’d thought Sephiroth would be packing like this. He hadn’t thought about it, actually, too busy worrying that Sephiroth was going to kill him, and then once it was obvious that that wasn’t what Sephiroth wanted from him, he’d been focused on Genesis instead.
Cloud was a little scared all over again, but he was hornier than ever. Something really was wrong with him, but he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
There were teeth. And a giant tentacle where Sephiroth’s dick would be (was that his dick?), longer and thicker than the ones crawling out of his sides.
And fucking teeth.
Like his neck, there was a part of Sephiroth’s torso that extended up to where his belly button should’ve been, where the skin was more like flesh, dark and purplish red. The tentacle was the same color, like it was coming out from inside of him.
There was a pulsing hole under the tentacle, wet and dripping some kind of slick fluid onto Cloud’s thighs. With the teeth, it almost looked like a mouth, the tentacle a giant tongue. It brushed up against Cloud, stroking against his cock, and he jolted.
It was wet.
The teeth started above the tentacle, running down along both sides of it, lining the lips of what was clearly a monstrous version of a pussy. There were more rows of them further in, and as Cloud watched, they opened up wider like a gaping maw, letting more of the slick drip out onto him obscenely, like Sephiroth was drooling all over him.
Cloud should be scared. He looked up, up at Sephiroth’s marking-covered face, saw his intention there. Cloud should definitely be scared. He shouldn’t want to put his dick in that.
He was a little worried Sephiroth would bite it off. Why did that make him even harder?
Sephiroth cooed, grabbing one of the pieces of hair that hung in front of Cloud’s face between two clawed fingers. He bent down and placed a laughably, stupidly chaste kiss on Cloud’s lips, still twirling his hair around his fingers.
Cloud gasped even as Sephiroth pulled away, and then he let out an incoherent noise when Sephiroth climbed atop his thighs and sat down on his cock, his pussy sucking him in and clenching down hard around him, the teeth gently scraping against him. Somehow, it didn’t hurt. They were probably far enough out of the way so they wouldn’t dig in, Sephiroth open and relaxed for him.
There was a grin on Sephiroth’s face that Cloud wanted to call evil. He squeezed around Cloud unnaturally, massaging his length with his insides.
Cloud came almost instantly.
Sephiroth smiled down at him as he rode out his orgasm, the very same smile he’d given Cloud the first time they’d met. Cloud thought he finally knew what it meant, now.
Slightly more lucid, Cloud murmured something to Sephiroth, but he didn’t really know what. He reached up toward him, then hesitated, tearing his gaze away.
Clearly knowing what he wanted and willing to indulge him, Sephiroth grabbed Cloud’s hands and brought them up to his chest. He squeezed involuntarily, and then harder. Sephiroth’s tits were so soft.
If Cloud thought he was done, that was going to get away now (he didn’t), he was clearly wrong. Sephiroth didn’t let him go, and he didn’t let up. He kept massaging Cloud’s cock, wiggling his tentacle across Cloud’s stomach, grabbing at Cloud’s hands and making him squeeze his tits even harder.
Sephiroth was clearly trying to get him hard again, and it didn’t take long until he got what he wanted. Cloud was practically panting, sweat dripping down his temples, when Sephiroth finally kissed him.
Sephiroth stuffed his too-long tongue down Cloud’s throat, licking at his teeth and the roof of his mouth as he went, and all Cloud could do was moan weakly. The tentacles on Sephiroth’s waist wrapped around Cloud’s, pulling him up and further into Sephiroth.
But that wasn’t all they did. Cloud could feel air against his hole, could feel wetness against it, and realized that Sephiroth was using his tentacles to spread his cheeks apart, holding his hole open.
He was so exposed.
Cloud had almost forgotten about Genesis, even though he’d been on top of him this whole time, had felt his cock twitching against his back. Genesis wrapped his hands around Cloud’s hips, bracing him.
The tentacles slipped inside of him, pushing past Cloud’s muscle. There was no chance to resist, not that he wanted to.
He felt as they wormed and writhed in and out of him, the sound of it horrible and slippery and slick. He was stuffed full, though he didn’t know how many there were inside of him—he was too distracted by the way Sephiroth was clenching down around his cock hard and fast, grinding his hips on top of him.
Cloud couldn’t tell if Sephiroth was controlling the tentacles or if they had a mind of their own, but soon enough they were pulling out, and he wanted to cry. They stayed wrapped around him, holding him open, and he felt Genesis’ hot breath against his neck, felt his hands tighten around Cloud’s waist, his grip bruising.
Genesis had his cock pressed against Cloud’s hole now, and oh gods, Cloud was going to die, stuck between them both like this. He wouldn’t want it any other way.
Cloud’s rim was warm and wet from what Sephiroth had left behind, twitching against Genesis’ head. It felt divine.
Genesis didn’t have any patience left, not after being subjected to watching and feeling the two of them going at it on top of him without even any consideration for him. Sephiroth had probably done it on purpose. Bastard (Ha!).
He wouldn’t wait any longer, just as Sephiroth had so eloquently put it earlier. His grip on Cloud’s slim waist tightened, and he pulled Cloud down, down, spearing him open on the head of his cock.
Even though Sephiroth had thoroughly prepared him with all of those little tentacles (and what a sight that had been), Cloud was still by no means loose. Genesis felt the way he stretched open around him, welcoming him inside, his hole twitching with every little movement.
Cloud was just as warm and tight as Genesis had imagined. He was a little too overwhelmed to be as much of a spitfire as Genesis had imagined he would be—no thanks to Sephiroth—but he was gorgeous like this too, overwhelmed on all sides and drunk with pleasure.
From around Cloud’s trembling body, Genesis eyed Sephiroth’s… everything, really. He wished he he could have fucked him, finally. He’d wanted it for so long, though he’d never admitted it.
He envied Cloud, but it was also quite the sight. Seeing Sephiroth take Cloud so easily, seeing his teeth (How had Genesis never noticed those before? Though it wasn’t as if he’d seen Sephiroth like this very many times) scrape against Cloud but never harm him. Sephiroth was soft on Cloud, more gentle than he’d led anyone to think he was capable of being.
They were gorgeous together, so Genesis didn’t truly mind.
Sephiroth always got his way, one way or another. Clearly, he was done waiting for Genesis to come to him. He’d probably done this on purpose, being petty and punishing Genesis for not giving in sooner.
Genesis would get his chance, and soon, he was sure. Sephiroth never left anything unfinished. He would want Genesis to finally fuck him just as badly as Genesis did, would want to thoroughly consummate this new bond between them all.
He could think about this later. For now, he kept fucking up into Cloud, relishing in the way that Cloud clamped down tight around him whenever Sephiroth did the same to him. All the while, Genesis was relentlessly biting down hard on his sensitive ears and dragging his tongue and teeth against his dainty neck.
The larger tentacle that was effectively Sephiroth’s cock had been writhing against Cloud’s stomach, so Genesis was surprised when it suddenly wriggled its way lower, pressing up against Cloud’s taint and then further back to rub at the place where Genesis’ cock was being sucked into his tight little hole.
Did Sephiroth want to fuck Cloud as well? Genesis was sure they could make room.
But that wasn’t what Sephiroth wanted at all, apparently. His tentacle snaked even further back, between Genesis’ legs, nudging at his hole.
He cried out in surprise, the slick wetness of it so good that he jerked his hips up into Cloud roughly, who moaned and collapsed back against Genesis’ chest.
He certainly wasn’t expecting that. Sephiroth leaned over, crushing Cloud between them (though he didn’t seem unhappy about it), pressing Genesis up against the padded back of the throne that all three of them were stuffed into.
Sephiroth kissed him, his tongue long and large and overwhelming. Genesis tried not to choke, not that Sephiroth would mind.
It wasn’t the first time they’d kissed, but it had never felt so good before. There was nothing now telling them they couldn’t, not even Genesis himself.
As he fucked up into Cloud and kissed Sephiroth, it felt almost as if he was fucking Sephiroth too, Cloud their conduit so that they could fuck each other through him.
Sephiroth’s tentacle nudged at his hole again, making it clear what he wanted. It was large, much thicker than the ones he’d stuffed into Cloud, but it was slim and tapered at the tip. He could take it.
Genesis pulled at his brother’s hair, wordlessly telling him to just do it already. Sephiroth, of course, knew exactly what he meant. He always did.
It felt exquisite. It was wet and unnaturally hot, wiggling and writhing inside of Genesis in a way that no cock ever could. The thing was prehensile, pushing further inside of Genesis like it wanted to stay there forever. Sephiroth clearly had control of it, seeing as he relentlessly sought out Genesis’ prostate, never letting up once he’d found it.
He just might lose his mind.
Here Genesis was, with a lapful of Cloud—the earnest, fiery thing he’d spent the last months trying to resist falling for when he was supposed to hate him. Genesis supposed they could all have each other. There was no need for all of that complicated jealousy after all.
No, there was certainly no room for jealousy, not when Cloud was tight and warm around him, moaning so prettily, all the while Sephiroth was filling him up, stretching him wider and wider around his slick, squirming tentacle.
He came just like that, his orgasm mind-shattering, and for once, Genesis was at a loss for words. All he could do was moan and clench his eyes shut as he jerked forward and filled Cloud up, marking him as theirs completely.
Sephiroth loomed over both of his lovers, watching as they squirmed beneath him, all of them moving in sync with one another.
He felt fully, wholly satisfied.
He had not come yet, but that didn’t diminish his satisfaction. Both Cloud and Genesis had, which pleased him greatly, and now it was his turn.
They could keep up, he was sure of it. They weren’t finished yet, wouldn’t be for awhile yet.
Sephiroth kept taking Cloud inside of him, his girth glorious, his cock warm and twitching so beautifully for him. He never let up as he squeezed around Cloud’s cock, both because it was driving him nearly to insanity and because it felt good pressed up against Sephiroth’s walls when he gripped down around it.
Cloud’s cum was delicious, and Sephiroth wanted more of it. He was determined to milk it from him until he took all that Cloud could give him and more, until he drained Cloud completely dry.
Genesis felt delectable too, tight and hot around his cock. Sephiroth wished he could be inside of both of them at once. His only regret was that he hadn’t fucked Cloud yet, but they had plenty of time for that.
His brother was beautiful in his pleasure, and so was Cloud.
Yes, Sephiroth had chosen well. He had seen Cloud’s potential, burning in his eyes that day when he had come to Sephiroth’s rescue even though it had been unnecessary. And now here he was, having become all of what Sephiroth had seen in him and more. He was beautiful without his inhibitions, strong and lithe between them, taking them both so very well even though he was too overwhelmed to say anything coherent.
Sephiroth had known from the very beginning that Genesis would like Cloud. He would lord this over him for eternity, surely. Jealousy was a useless, human emotion, especially when he could have them both.
So Sephiroth fucked them both, his lovers. He ground Cloud’s cock against that spot inside of himself, clamping down and pushing Cloud exactly where he needed him. His cock writhed inside of Genesis, twitching every time his brother clenched around him.
It went on and on, the pleasure endless, until finally Sephiroth felt himself go still, his wing flaring out behind him as he came inside of Genesis and fluid gushed out of his cunt, marking both of them at once.
He shook above them, his entire body trembling as he rode out his orgasm. He felt hands on him—on his chest and sides, petting him gently, fingers twining around his tentacles—though he could not tell whose hands were where.
Even when he came down from his high, when he cracked open his eyes and saw how Cloud and Genesis were worshipping him, stroking him so softly, he knew he was not done with them, would never be.
Genesis was finally sat on his throne, where he rightfully belonged, and he was beautiful. Sephiroth wouldn’t let him up from it just yet. He was not done marking his territory, would not be done until he had marked every place that mattered as theirs. For now, he wanted to savor this moment, here with them both. There was no rush to move on; they had all the time they could ever need.
They had a whole kingdom to themselves after all, for Genesis to rule and for him to play human within, with Cloud—their loyal little guard—to keep them safe and sated. Just as it was meant to be.
