You sure she doesn't need our help?"
"Positive."
"There is no way for her to escape from the roof-"
"She'll figure something out. You know better than me she isn't going to die."
"Oh my god, they are attacking a child with a RHYDON?!"
"Relax! As if you weren't going through the same at that age."
Gary had to put considerable effort into holding back Ash, who was just about to run off and jump in to save the day. Like always.
"I swear I am going to make you recite Palkia's rulebook at least 3 times if you don't stop."
Ash, very much distressed- "Gary! That's a baby- a baby is getting attacked by a Rhydon! See?! Leafage didn't even do a thing..."
"Anddd look again. It didn't need to do a thing. The girl's smart!" Ash, who finally stopped resisting in Gary's hold- "huh. Guess so.."
The academy roof came into vision of both the Pokémon Trainers. The same roof where a girl wearing a brown school uniform was climbing higher to escape her pursuers after putting the gigantic Rock-type Pokémon to sleep. Unfortunately, the bad guys seemed to have caught up rather quickly again.
"So they want the pendant?" The brown-haired researcher fixed his gaze at the girl's hand clutching the pendant close to her.
"Why are the bad guys always in a trio?" The red-hat boy seemed to be more exasperated, clearly from years of jumping dimensions, he was starting to see a pattern here.
"They probably have a tragic backstory too." The researcher made the off-handed comment, more curious about why they would want a pendant. Most obviously- it's connected to a legendary. Which, though? Is it one they already know or will it be unique to this dimension..?
"The purple one definitely fits the bill---" "HAHA I FOUND YOU!" ?! A man wearing goggles dives down from the sky between the girl and the emo, purple-haired boy as Ash cut off mid-way of making assumptions based on appearance. Very bad, Ash. Very bad.
"Wait.. so he is going to take her too??" In Ash's opinion, the bearers of each dimension deserved a break. Him included. 'Cause seriously, on the first day???.
However, these thoughts didn't take long to melt away as the 'Team bad guys 1' sent out a Pokémon surrounded in violet flames. Dual blades replacing the hands on the armor-adorned body of the knight-like figure.
"Woah... that's so unfair." ?? "What's unfair?" the researcher, snapping out of his theories, looks at Ash and follows his gaze to the newly revealed Pokémon.
"Damn, that's unfair." The problem? The Pokémon is way too cool for a bad guy, who is harassing a girl not even in her teens.
Was its name Ceruledge? (SoulBlades is so much cooler though TvT)
"Can't we steal it?" The researcher's deadpan look was as much a denial as it was a warning aka. Don't even think about it.
"The other guy has a Charizard. This might be a fight to see."
Use Bitter Blade. Charizard, Flamethrower.
The two rude guests begin to fight among themselves- "That's good firepower from the Charizard! Though Bitter Blade? Swords of Regret sounds way cooler~" The World Champion gave his very helpful input as the windows shatter under the clash of attacks.
"And now they are damaging school property, just how despicable can they get?" The researcher was much focused on noting down the data on his Rotom Pad about the brand new Pokémon- The outer "shell" or body of Ceruledge is not organic skin, exoskeleton, or standard metal. Further inspection from the Rotom visor on his right eye seems that it is a manifestation of an old set of armor steeped entirely in grudges and curses.
How ominous.
(And very emo gothic)
"They seem evenly matched so far though the Charizard may get the upper hand- GARY! THE BABY! WHAT IS TRYING TO DO?!"
"Ash- Stop freaking out ove--IT JUMPED?!"
Between the back and forth of the two intruders, the girl tries to slip away unnoticed. She, along with her grass cat, tried to jump to the next roof in a rather bold leap only to be noticed. Ceruledge's trainer orders a lethal 'Psychocut' grazing past the Charizard's trainer, heading straight for girl-cat duo mid-air.
But just at the moment of impact, a bright teal light emerges and hexagonal shapes take form in a circular shield around the girl and her Pokémon.
"Oh, thank god that necklace is magic-"
The researcher and champion finally relax and slump against each other. This was not good for their hearts.
"Btw, how have people not come to investigate the commotion already?" - the new dimension leaper, the researcher.
"Don't read too much into it." - Veteran, the Champion.
